Reviewer Response:

N/A

Okay so I didn't get any reviews on either part of episode 8, so I decided what I overall prefer, and I think I'm leaning more towards putting them as just one chapter rather than a multi-parter. Episode 8 will probably still be 2 parts, but episodes 9 and onwards are most likely going to be 1 part unless it gets too massive, which this one did, but I'll make an exception for this one.

And now! Let's begin the episode!

Chris sits under an umbrella, smirking evilly as rain pours down and thunder rumbles. "Last time on Total Drama Elemental Islands! Our campers went to Water Island to search for buried treasure!" Footage shown includes Chris telling the contestants about the challenge, the campers swimming ahead and Rory picking up an armful of treasure.

"Susan managed to obtain some help from Jake! Who managed to open Carol up to talking to her old friend again!" Footage of Jake and Susan's conversation followed by Carol's talk with Susan plays, leading to Chris continuing.

"Don decided to come in and make my time hosting a nightmare, and when we had a little issue with Xavier's diving equipment getting a small hole, he got mad at me for pausing for a moment." Instead of what Chris described, the footage shows Don walking in on Chris and Chef as well as Katrina accidentally dropping the anchor which caused the cave-in.

"The Frozen Lions won the challenge thanks to Gary," footage of Gary snatching a bunch of coins and treasure shows up, as well as him celebrating their victory.

"Elimination was cancelled since there was a decent chance Xavier would have to go home due to his accident, but he was cleared to continue in the game, so nobody went home!" Chris's voice drips with sarcastic happiness as footage of Xavier sitting in his hospital bed with Bob and Jake talking to him gets shown.

"Xavier and Jake got closer than ever to starting to date… Only for Jake to not want to start right now." This shows footage of Jake and Xavier talking, and Jake looking awkward, alongside Xavier smiling.

"Who will fall today? And who will win the game? Will Don stop being on my case? Find out on TOTAL! DRAMA! ELEMENTAL ISLANDS!"

Opening Guitar Riff:

The intro starts with the rock theme that is known so well to Total Drama fans, before a camera pops out from under some water, a microphone comes from the side towards some ground that hasn't been touched by raging fire around it. A light turns on from the side of a cave, illuminating it and a second camera pops from the bottom of a chunk of land floating, with a gopher holding on to it.

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doin' fine,

The camera zooms past the dock speeding through the elimination area and the cabins before it goes towards one end of the island.

You guys are on my mind.

The camera goes past Chris arguing with Don before it zooms into the sky showing all five islands and zooms to Water Island.

You asked me what I wanted to be

On Water Island, Hannah and Tegan, both in Scuba gear, attack each other angrily. Meanwhile Jake and Nadia find a yellow rock before Nadia turns around and angrily yells at the two fighting above.

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

Inside a cave on Earth Island, Myron, Megan and Carol walk inside, with Carol holding up a comic book and excitedly commenting on it to a not interested Myron and Megan, who look at each other worried about the cave.

I wanna be famous.

Susan writes in a small notebook furiously while making a small smile before she looks at the camera and smiles and waves at the camera.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Inside the confessional, Lauren looks around excited before she looks at the camera and makes a determined smile to the camera.

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

On Air Island, Bob punches a punching bag clean off what was being hanged, while Jemma watches and writes something on her notepad before a bear comes out of the bushes and prepares to attack them, which scares both of them.

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

Xavier is seen showing Gary a few costumes, first a cowboy costume where he's swinging his hat on his finger, then a 1930s mobster suit and making finger guns and finally a rapper costume where he pretends to rap. Gary isn't paying attention and instead makes a small smirk

I'll get there one day.

Fire Island appears with Richard standing there bored before he looks at the camera

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Morgan then runs over and pushes him over so he can appear in the camera lens. An angry Rory then runs over and helps up Richard, who just sighs and shrugs.

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

Back at the dock of Base camp, Alfred looks at the camera, a smug smile plastered on his face before he starts bossing around a couple of interns, including Katrina who was chatting with them before. Katrina and the interns get annoyed and push him into the water, the resulting splash of water covers the camera and the time changes to night.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous (Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!)

Rory and Susan look at each other lovingly before they lean forwards, only for Chris to get up and blast his megaphone, making them jump back in surprise, Susan puts her hand on her heart in shock and Rory holds his head, as the camera zooms out to the rest of the campers whistling the closing notes of the song.

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Xavier starts the episode by getting out of bed. After walking a couple of steps, he trips over a loose nail in the cabin going, "Ow!" Before muttering, "that's just bad craftsmanship," before walking outside. Gary then walks in and pushes his bag under his bed.

After Xavier goes downstairs he is quickly pulled to the side by Bob.

"Go to the shed nobody uses, I need to talk with you and someone else."

Xavier shrugs, "Alright sure,"

A bit later, as he enters, he notices Carol sitting there as well.

"Hey," she smiles, waving. Xavier waves back.

"Okay cool, you're both here?" Bob asks. "Good, cause I need help from both of you for this to work."

"Okay, what's up?" The lights then go out as wheels are heard squeaking.

"Should I get the lights?" Carol asks, confused.

"Not yet," Bob quickly starts, "But, right… about… Now," Carol turns the lights on, revealing a whiteboard on wheels, and Bob with a marker and eraser in his hand. On the board reads 'Bob's plan to save his game and get back at Gary,'

"Oh uh… Huh…" Xavier looks caught off guard.

"Sorry I couldn't tell you last night, you came out of the tent and you went to bed and I wasn't done making this plan so I just let you sleep."

"Did you sleep as well?" Xavier questions.

"Three hours." Bob smiles, "I'm tired, but this took precedence."

"Three hours…? Dude, you need to have a nap soon."

"When everything is solved!" Bob quickly smiles, though his eye starts twitching

"Well tell us the plan and we can fight this crime!" Carol says back, though she sounds somewhat concerned.

"Okay," The giant begins, smiling back. "You guys distract him, and I quickly look around and search for the,-"

"What's going on in here?" a voice suddenly calls as they swing the door open. All three look up, shocked, only to see Nadia staring at them confused. "Uhh, alright then, not the trio I was expecting."

"We're uh… Just pitching a superhero!" Carol calls out,

"A superhero named 'Bob's plan to save his game and get back at Gary'? Nadia curtly comments back, "Uh huh… Are you an alliance or something? Cause if you are then well… I'm gonna make sure Carol gets out,"

"Look you don't have to worry, don't think about it," Xavier comments,

"That makes me think it's an alliance even more," she admits, "Look I'll leave you be and you can plan against me I guess, but I'm going to as well. Maybe I'll tell Gary about this alliance too!" She then goes to close the door and leave, but Bob quickly yells,

"No, wait!" Causing Nadia to pause. "Look just… Come in here if you want… It's not an alliance, but just… Don't tell Gary,"

"You're letting her in?" Xavier asks,

"Look she'll blab if we don't let her in and explain this to her. Plus an extra hand helping wouldn't hurt." Bob sighs, "Just come in here, don't tell anyone and I'll tell you what we're doing."

"Okay," Nadia shrugs, "I'm in," once she closes the door and sits in an empty chair, Bob starts to explain,

"So pretty much I'm being blackmailed, Gary stole something personal from me and told me he'd destroy it if I didn't help him. I want to get out of that blackmail and so I'm firstly figuring out where it could be, secondly, figuring out how to distract Gary for long enough that I can get it back… Therefore, 'Bob's plan to save his game and get back at Gary'. Happy?"

"Well, that's definitely not what I was expecting," Nadia comments, "If it's true though, I'm happy to help someone in need, and if it's a front for an alliance then I want in on it, got it?"

A few seconds of silence happen as the other three people all look at each other,

"Sure," Bob sighs. "Not an alliance, but you're not gonna believe it isn't anyways,"

"Just covering my bases," Nadia replies back smoothly.

"Isn't this blackmail as well?" Xavier asks,

"If it was an alliance, it would be," Nadia smiles, "But since you three all insist it isn't then it shouldn't be, eh?"

"Just shut up already and let me explain the plan."

Confessional:

"Okay so they probably aren't an alliance," Nadia shrugs, "But if it leads into one I had to make sure."

Confessional Ends:

Myron walks downstairs, locating Jake before walking up to him and asking, "So… You doing well?"

"Yeah," The leader chuckles to himself, "Much better than yesterday at least,"

"That's good to hear,"

"I just want to say quickly, sorry if I've been a bit avoidant before," Jake says, Myron smiles back.

"Yeah, that's fine," The nerd nods back, "Sorry about yesterday,"

"All good." The pair stop for a moment, thinking about what to say to each other.

"Uhh, so are you ready for the next challenge?" Jake asks,

"Yeah, I guess," Myron responds. Both stand around a bit longer before awkwardly continuing, "Well, I'll see you around,"

"Yeah, see you in a bit." Both then walk off. Myron frowns slightly before speeding up his walk.

Confessional:

"I want to trust him," Myron begins, "But something feels… Off. I can't put my finger on it though."

Confessional Ends:

The scene next cuts to Jemma, sitting at a table, as Katrina sits across from her with a smile.

"Have you decided if you're with me or not?"

Jemma pauses before saying, "Give me a bit longer, maybe after the challenge finishes?"

"It should be long enough now," Katrina's smile drops slightly, "come on,"

"Well, my mind's sort of wandered after yesterday." Katrina pauses at this, looking downward with a guilty expression,

"Alright, you're right… Sorry. I'll ask tonight, but take your time to decide. As long as you choose before our next elimination then it's all good."

"Alright…" Jemma sighs before Katrina walks away.

Confessional:

A frowning Jemma groans, "Well, when you have to choose between 'person who targeted me before one,' or 'person who targeted me before two', which one would you pick? Still, she seemed confident before I mentioned yesterday, and that was a low blow."

Confessional Ends:

Jemma stands back up, turning around to see Bob in the distance, walking out of the shed. She notices his slower movements, "What's with him?" She asks herself, before she forces herself to look away, "Nope, nope, nope, nope, not going to pay attention to him."

The Journalist then looks down at her notepad and starts writing, trying to take her mind off of everything.

Rory throws a football into the air before catching it again. Walking over to Myron, they start to throw it back and forth.

"When did you get into football and all that?" Myron asks. Rory smiles before saying.

"Well, we were at a park one day around when I was four or so. I watched some other kids playing and joined in. Could barely move the ball but that came with time."

"Wow, you started playing young."

"Yeah, I guess so, pretty much I just thought it was fun."

"Nah, that's fair." Myron admits before continuing, "What do you think you're going to do with the cash if you win?"

"Not sure really, maybe save it up so I can go to tryouts for the major teams, then I'll just help other people out."

"That's a nice way of using it,"

"How about you?" Rory questions back, where the Nerd thinks.

"Honestly I don't know. Maybe just keep it for me and mom, give some to Megan, maybe a bit to you too."

"Thanks, dude," The jock smiles back as Rory catches the ball and the two fist bump. "That's really nice of you,"

"All good,"

As they talk, Chris's voice suddenly rings out from over the loudspeakers, "Okay campers! Time for your next challenge! Head to Fire Island and get ready to face your shocking secrets!"

"Secrets?" Carol asks, walking up to the two with a concerned expression, "That's just cruel,"

"What do you mean?" Myron says back, confused.

"Face your secrets, it's gonna be this whole thing about saying stuff you've kept hidden. Also, I don't like how he specified shocking."

"Oh, so like the first half of Revenge of the Island episode two?" Lauren walks over and butts in, to which Carol replies,

"Was that the one where Dakota went home?"

"Yeah,"

"Then yeah, that one,"

Confessional:

"I've watched Total Drama," Carol matter-of-factly says, "Quite enjoyed it actually. I really want to compete with Max at some point."

Confessional Ends:

The scene then changes to the final twelve arriving at Fire Island to see Chris, looking around somewhat concerned. He turns to Chef and whispers, "You sure everything's gonna be fine with Don and the producers?"

"Even if they aren't, you still need to host," Chef points out.

"Good point," Chris groans before putting on a smile and saying, "Welcome campers! To the real final twelve challenge! No non-eliminations today! Because things are heating up!"

"Chris looks worried," Xavier whispers to Bob, "The producers probably aren't happy with him," Bob chuckles as Chris glares at the duo, who go quiet, but still snicker.

"Today's challenge is pretty simple, behind me is fourteen gaps, one for each of you, plus an extra two for the Lions so they can have seven because it has to be fair. Katrina and Gary got selected because their secondary facts looked interesting.

Around Fire Island, you will find tablets, each holding a secret or fun fact about a certain camper. To win today's challenge you have to grab the tablets for people from the other teams, bring them to the board, and fill them. The first team to have the other team's board filled in wins!"

"Do we already know these facts?" Jemma asks, already knowing the answer.

"Nope! You have to figure out who has each fact! Place the tablets in the wrong slot, and let's just say… You'll be in for a shocking surprise!" Morgan walks on screen with a rock and puts it in one of the slots for Gary. It then glows red and electrocutes The Perfect Guy, knocking him to the ground and leading to the other contestants looking concerned.

"Owwww," Morgan quietly groans.

"Since this is Fire Island, you're all going to have to deal with everything this island has to throw at you!" Chris presses a button on a remote, causing Fire to burst up around him.

Confessional:

"Yeah, cause this isn't dangerous at all." Katrina snarks, "What's next? He's got meteors falling from the sky to squash us?"

Confessional Ends:

Chris continues his explanation, "Yellow tablets are secrets for the Tigers and Blue are ones for the Lions. These secrets vary in how embarrassing they are, but if you truly don't want to risk anything coming out, then you better get this challenge done as fast as possible."

Everyone prepares to run before Chris begins counting down, "Okay, time to start on THREE! TWO! ONE! GO!" The twelve start to run ahead, most of them travelling into different parts of the Island.

Jemma runs over to the slots and starts to inspect them, leading to Katrina running over and asking, "What are you doing?"

"Bring the tablets to me. It isn't perfect, but if I can read the other team's faces, I can help the team better with placing them in the slots."

Katrina shrugs, "Okay then, it's worth a go. If we lose it's on you though."

Confessional:

"That's sort of something you learn after a while of research on people who lie," Jemma admits.

Confessional Ends:

Nadia, Lauren and Carol arrive in a clearing, starting to look around. After a few moments, fire surrounds the three girls, causing them to look around surprised.

"Great… Just great." Myron runs over during Nadia's comment.

"Hey Nadia, we should team up with each other," Carol smiles at her teammate, who looks around with a raised eyebrow before saying,

"Fine…"

Confessional:

"I think Nadia might have a problem with me," Carol admits, "I kinda want to fix whatever issue she has with me, so I guess I'll be nice and do the challenge with her?"

Confessional Ends:

The pair then jog off as Lauren turns to Myron and asks, "Wanna go with me?"

"Sure," Myron shrugs.

With a flash, the scene changes to Katrina, looking around before she runs into Morgan, still dusting himself off.

"You're the intern girl aren't you?" Morgan asks, rubbing his head.

"Yeah? Why?"

"Getting my bearings back since, y'know, I got electrocuted."

"Oh uh, well yeah."

"That freaking hurt," The perfect guy grumbles, The former intern does not give sympathy.

"Well hey, you chose the intern thing didn't you?" Katrina asks.

"Yeah, but I didn't realise it would hurt this much."

"Chris literally starved me during All Stars so the final five could make ice cream for us, and then just gave it to them instead of me. Still didn't eat that night by the way. You have it easy."

"Well maybe some of us have better things to do than watch reality TV, I was out there winning medals and trophies."

"Fat lot of luck that gave you eh? You got out second on your team dude, don't come in here so high and mighty."

"Shut up!" Morgan yells.

Confessional:

"Okay, I'm starting to see why people don't like Chris that much," Morgan comments, "But Katrina's an absolute tool too!"

Confessional Ends:

"Well, I'm off to do the challenge," Katrina rolls her eyes before running off. Morgan groans before walking away.

The scene then changes to Susan stopping in the forest to try and catch her breath, looking around worried.

Confessional:

"I was lucky yesterday," The genius starts, "I don't think I'll be overly lucky today. I need to win, so if I'm a little bit… Stressed this challenge, then I think it's obvious why that's the case."

Confessional Ends:

As she continues to look around, Myron and Lauren run past, before they arrive at a small cliff face.

"Well, nothing this way," Myron shrugs, however, Lauren looks closer and feels along the cliff before she punches the side of the cliff and a fact slips out,

"What? How?"

"It felt too convenient." She admits before they both turn and look at the fact, the pair read.

'This contestant is actually twenty-one years old.'

This causes Lauren to look up and ask, "Wait, aren't we all eighteen? Wasn't that like, the only rule they gave us before signing up?"

"Not all of us evidently." Myron shrugs.

"Well, let's just get this in," Lauren says back as both begin to jog back.

Meanwhile, Carol and Nadia continue to look around, with Carol asking, "So how're you doing?"

"Fine enough," Nadia mutters, "Could be better though."

"Yeah… That's fair," Carol replies, before sighing.

As Carol thinks, she looks over at Nadia, seeing her standing on a patch of grass starts to glow red hot.

"LOOK OUT!" The superhero wannabe calls out before she tackles Nadia away from the bush. This happens right as the bush lights on fire, causing both girls to look up shocked.

"GEEZ!" Nadia yells, eyes wide. After a moment, she looks over at Carol and says, "You… Saved me?"

"Yeah, obviously. Don't really want to see someone dying in all honesty,"

"That's… That's fair," The Hot-Blooded sighs, "Thanks for paying attention."

"No problem,"

Confessional:

"Carol was paying more attention than me? Carol?" Nadia facepalms, "Wow I must have been blind,"

Confessional Ends:

The scene cuts to Lauren and Myron at the starting area, deep in thought "So who could it actually be?" Myron asks as Lauren stays silent.

"Well someone's lying about their age, and production never caught it until now…"

After a pause, Myron's eyes light up, realisation etched on his face, "WAIT! I KNOW WHO THIS IS!"

"Who?"

"Katrina! She and I were the first two on here in the first episode, and after I said hi to Chris and all that I asked her what her deal was and she said she was forced by production! That'd bypass the whole age thing!"

"That's… Really smart thinking actually!" The fangirl smiles before putting the fact in one of Katrina's slots. It then glows green as she and Myron sigh with relief.

"Correct!" Chris yells, "That's a point to the Tigers!" Katrina then runs over to the scene.

"You're twenty-one?" Jemma asks before Katrina shrugs,

"Well yeah, I was eighteen when I started as an intern, apparently they couldn't hire sixteen-year-olds for the intern stuff I guess, even though they had sixteen-year-old campers. Dakota was just very unlucky cause of her dad."

"Oh, yeah… That's fair."

Confessional:

"I would have been fine saying it," The intern shrugs, "But I don't just walk up to people and go, 'hi, I'm Katrina, and I'm twenty-one years old!' That just sounds weird and kinda creepy."

Confessional Ends:

Jake looks around before noticing a fact for the Tigers on the ground. "Great, one of ours…" He mutters before jogging off. After that, some fire appears below the tablet and it drops underground.

Carol and Nadia keep walking around, looking before they come across some fire surrounding a fact.

I can get in there," Carol says, a confident smile on her face.

"Yeah, but you're also one of our best physical players, and you saved me from third-degree burns, so I want to return the favour." Both think before they look up to a tree.

"How about we Mission Improbable this?" Carol asks.

"What?"

"I drop down and grab it, then you pull me back up."

"Not a bad idea," Nadia admits. "You sure you can do it?"

"Well after reading enough Owlman comics I know the gist of what to do. We just need something to hold me," Carol's comment causes Nadia to look at her unbelievingly.

"You have that rope right?" she asks, "you used it to knock me off the platform last time we were here, remember?"

"Yeah," Carol says back, unsure for a moment before she realises. "Oh, oh yeah, tie that around me, uh, that makes sense…"

After Carol successfully ties the rope around her stomach, both girls climb the tree, perching themselves on a branch.

"You ready?" Carol asks.

"Yeah," Nadia responds, holding the rope.

"Cannonball!" Carol yells as she jumps off. Nadia tries to keep her grip, however, the rope slips through her hands and Carol faceplants on the ground. "Oww," She complains, rubbing her head, before realising the tablet is next to her and grabbing it. "Pull me up!" She yells, throwing the other end of the rope up.

"On it!" Nadia calls out before slowly raising her up. After a little bit, she succeeds, saying, "My bad, wasn't expecting the sudden increase in weight."

"Are you saying I'm fat?" Carol asks, mock offence in her voice.

"What? No!"

"I'm kidding," The superhero clarifies before the pair run off.

The scene changes to Rory, who notices Susan looking around. "How're you doing?" The jock asks though it sounds a bit stiffer than he would normally speak.

"Not good," The genius admits with a sigh, "Can't find anything. How about you?"

"Same lack of luck as you, but it's not too bad,"

"Why aren't you worried?" She questions.

"Well firstly I'm probably safe tonight even if we lose," He admits, causing the Brainiac to look away awkwardly, "And secondly, the challenge just started, at most there's probably one point and that's if one team is specifically lucky, so we shouldn't worry yet. I've played enough games to know that while the first few minutes are important, as long as you aren't too far behind any team can launch a comeback in the second half of the game."

"Yeah… I guess you're right," Susan sighs before she looks at Rory. "Hey, I just want to say… About before,"

"You don't have to say anything," Rory quickly says, "Especially not in a challenge." The two then look awkwardly before Rory mutters, "I'm just… Gonna look that way."

"Alright," both start to walk away awkwardly, before Katrina jogs on screen, looking around.

"Sorry to interrupt your love session, just looking around."

"WE'RE NOT DATING RIGHT NOW!" Rory and Susan both call out quickly, before staring at each other.

"That was weird," The jock admits before Katrina runs off, chuckling to herself.

Carol and Nadia run over to the main area, with the former holding the fact they found before,

'This contestant has a ViewTune channel where they release film analysis videos.'

"Who'd be a ViewTuner out of the Lions?" Carol asks her teammate, who pauses to think.

"Okay," The Hot Blooded starts, "so I don't really see Bob doing that, Katrina not that much either. So it's a tossup between Xavier, Gary and Jemma,"

"Well, these are surprises aren't they?" Carol adds on to her partner's thought, "An actor or someone into theatre doing a channel about movies is probably less surprising than someone who wants to be a Journalist cause of them being connected to the industry more? Also, she can practice writing with this project."

"I mean I guess," Nadia shrugs, putting the slot in Jemma's spot, causing it to flash green.

"We got it!" Carol yells, excited

"Wow, you're on fire today, Carol." Nadia smiles,

"Heh, fire," The superhero chuckles,

"Not what I meant, but good job anyways!"

Confessional:

"Was I wrong about Carol? The more I chat with her about this challenge the more I realise I'm maybe judging her a bit too much." Nadia looks around awkwardly, "Whoops,"

Confessional Ends:

Jemma looks over to see her fact placed down. Seeing what it is causes her to groan.

Confessional:

"I wanted it to stand out on its own thank you very much," the Journalist grumbles. After a bit, she realises something, then smiles before straightening up, "No offence, I'll take being hounded for it if I just don't say it. I'm not telling you everything about me!"

Under her, the name 'FlynnFlics' appears with text saying 'That's the channel!' appearing below that. [1]

Confessional Ends:

Gary stops in a clearing, avoiding some fire that appears in front of him. He then looks around and sees one of the other team's facts in a tree. "Come to papa," he smiles as he climbs up and grabs it.

Getting back down he continues to look, noticing another tablet hidden on the ground that he grabs with a smirk. Pausing, he sees it's one of the tablets for his team and evilly smiles, before slipping it into his pocket.

Confessional:

"Cheating?" Gary rhetorically asks, "Well, yes… But we're a team of five, cut me some slack."

Confessional Ends:

Chris's voice suddenly calls out over the loudspeakers, not cutting Gary any slack, "Gary, get back to the starting area. The surprised theatre kid does as he is told and after making it back, Chris says to him, "Empty your pockets."

"Doesn't cheating make it more fun?" Gary asks as he gets the two tablets out.

"Well normally yeah, and I'd let you do that for a while 'cause it's funny, but I'm probably on thin ice with the producers after the last challenge… Anyways, I can make this fun."

"How so?" The theatre kid questions, eyebrow raised.

"Stay here," was all the host says before chuckling and walking over to a loudspeaker. "ELECTRIC TIGERS! WE HAVE A FREE POINT HERE CAUSE SOMEONE ON THE LIONS DECIDED TO CHEAT… AND FROZEN LIONS! BY SOMEONE… I MEAN GARY!"

"Hey what the hell man!" Gary yells, before preparing to pick up the opposing team fact.

"Nuh-uh, you have to wait for a Tiger to get the one you cheated in."

"But they don't even know whose it is!"

"Exactly… I love my job! Anyways, someone else on your team can place the other fact you found if they want."

"On it!" Jemma calls as she runs over. "How did you even cheat?"

"I hid one of our ones in my pocket," was the annoyed response.

A few moments later, Rory runs over. Gary glares at the jock before saying. "Look dude, just get that in so I can go," Rory looks questioningly.

"What?"

"Do it."

"Well uh… Okay, I guess." Rory picks up the fact and looks at it, 'Chris McLean went to this contestant's school when they were eight for a performance.'

"So someone knows Chris?" he asks. Also looking at this is Chris, who starts to think. "As in an acting performance or something?"

"Wow, good job genius," Gary says back. "What's your IQ? 80?"

"Okay seriously can you shut u-" Rory cuts himself off. Unless it's… You?" He then turns around and places it in one of Gary's slots. After a pause, it flashes green, causing Rory to mutter, "Oh, thank god."

Meanwhile, Chris looks again at the fact and starts to think out loud, "Wait… These kids are eighteen… So ten years ago?" A frozen look of realisation appears before Chris's mouth goes agape and he points at the Theatre Kid angrily, "Hey wait a minute, I remember Gary now! He's that prissy kid that thought he was sooooooo much better than me!"

"What… Are you talking about?" Chef questions, genuinely confused.

"I got him up on stage to show him up but the teachers all just focused on how good he was! I wanted that attention as well thank you very much!"

"Seriously Chris?" Chef asks, "It's kinda sad you remember that."

Overhearing Chris's rant, Gary looks at the host with a smug smirk.

Confessional:

"I've got to hand it to you, Chris, you're the reason I got into stage acting," Gary leans back with a smug smile on his face. "The voices, the cheering, the teamwork. I know you wanted to outdo me, but you didn't! And so, I signed up at my local theatre, and things went ahead from there."

Confessional Ends:

As Chris looks at Gary with a scowl on his face, the Theatre Kid walks over to Jemma and says, "Let's try him," pointing to Myron.

"You do it," She says back.

"Sure," The actor replies, placing a fact down on Myron's square, 'This contestant, when they were eight, knocked over a shelf in a local store, forcing their mother to pay for everything on there.'

As it turns green, Jemma looks surprised. "How'd you get it in one go?" Gary shrugs.

"They probably still think fat guys falling over is peak comedy," Myron, who just arrived with Lauren, watches his placed in with his face going crimson red, "Sorry mom," he says, his hands over his face.

Confessional:

"I tripped over and grabbed the shelf to try and stop myself from falling, but all that did was knock it over. I got away just in time, but it was… So many things… And she had to pay, for aaaaaall of it." He looks away guiltily saying, "4,529 dollars… We're just lucky mom's job gives us a lot of amount of disposable income."

Confessional Ends:

Katrina then runs over and gasps. "We're losing three to one? How did this happen?"

"I dunno, but they're getting lucky," Gary admits, though Katrina glares at him.

"You're in no room to talk, considering you gave the other team a point."

"Oh come on, this is a really easy challenge to try and cheat, you knew someone had to try."

"Hey I don't want to interrupt your important team discussion," Jemma starts, "but Bob and Xavier are the only two doing anything out there right now. I know I'm not in any place to talk, but at least I'm not getting in an unnecessary fight."

"Good point…" Gary groans, "Let's just go."

"Yeah," Katrina rolls her eyes before the pair run off. Lauren and Myron then turn around and run off as well, chuckling.

Bob runs around looking, before noticing Carol and Nadia walking nearby,

"Hey, Carol!" He calls out.

"Hi, Bob!" Carol yells back.

"He's on the other team," Nadia whispers, "I know we have a whole thing with him, but maybe talk with him after the challenge?"

"He doesn't have rabies," Carol annoyedly states, "I can say hi to him."

"Geez, alright," The Hot Blooded raises her arms. Bob then starts to walk over before the camera pans upwards.

Just above them, Xavier jogs around the forest. While not paying attention, fire starts to blast up around him, which causes him to jump back with a surprised yelp. Unfortunately for him, he stumbles back, tripping and rolling down the hill until he lands in front of Bob, Carol and Nadia.

"Xavier?" Bob asks, the two girls simply look surprised.

"Just thought I'd uh… Drop in?" Right after he says that a tablet situated on the cliff falls and hits Xavier on the head.

"You alright?" Bob asks.

"Been better… But better than yesterday." He then looks over at the tablet and says, "Look! It's one of the ones we need to find!"

"Let's go then!" Bob says with a smile, running off.

"At least it's only like, one point," Nadia points out, sighing.

"Well, we just need to find one ourselves to make up for it," Carol smiles back before stepping ahead and tripping over something. "Oww…" Nadia looks over with wide eyes.

"Did you seriously just trip over a tablet?"

"Wait really?"

Picking it up, Nadia reads.

'Once upon a time, this contestant accidentally threw a Swii Remote through their TV breaking it… Then two years later they did it again.'

"Wow, what a klutz!" Nadia chuckles.

"Quick!" Carol yells as they both run back to the starting area. Making it back they notice they've arrived not long after Bob and Xavier.

"Okay, who'd have this one?" Xavier asks, confused.

'This contestant won a sweepstake to meet an actor when they were ten and they still own the winning ticket.'

After a moment, Bob turns to the girls, and smirks, saying, "I have an idea," before placing it in Carol's slot. It glows green.

"How'd you get that?" Nadia asks, walking over with a couple other contestants following.

"General feeling, it fits her."

Confessional:

"From what I know of Carol, she seemed like the Tiger that would make the most sense with this secret," Bob shrugs. "Partially a lucky guess but it still worked."

Confessional Ends:

"Did you tell him?" Nadia questions her teammate, however, Carol quickly throws her hands up.

"No! I didn't, I swear, he just guessed really well." Looking at her fact makes Carol smile with immense pride on her face. "If you want to know though," she smiles, before striking a pose, "That celebrity was the one and only Manny East!" Her excitement isn't shared by everyone else, who mainly looks confused.

"Who?" Susan questions. Carol looks around at everyone before dully continuing.

"He played Owlman in the 60s," everyone reacts with understanding.

"Ah," Gary nods.

"Didn't he have the Owl-branded-Bear-Repellent?" Rory asks, curiously.

"Yeah, that one," after a moment of pausing, she continues, "He was funny, and he made me realise that Heroes don't have to be super dark and serious all the time, they can have times where they crack jokes about having to get rid of a bomb or have to use Owl-branded-Bear-Repellent after getting thrown out of a helicopter," she then looks up to see everyone has walked away during her explanation except for Nadia and Jake.

"You can get back into that with the others later," Nadia starts, "we need to do the challenge,"

"Oh… Alright then," The embarrassed Superhero quietly says before looking at the tablet.

"I'll put it in," Jake shrugs. "Two people out there looking is better than one," the two girls look surprised but nod before Carol says.

"Thanks for that!"

"No problem."

Nadia gives the tablet to Jake before running off with her teammate in tow.

Gary then jogs over with another tablet while calling out, "I've got another one."

"I've got it, don't worry," Jemma responds, causing Gary to throw it near her and start to jog off. Jake instinctively ducks away from it, before annoyedly calling out,

"Watch where you throw that!"

"Not sorry," Gary says back.

Jemma then scans the tablet.

'This camper appeared as an extra in a few shots of "Fry Hard" without even knowing.'

She then looks at the list of people currently remaining for the Tigers, "Okay… Let's see."

Confessional:

"Being in a movie? That could fit any of them really…" The Journalist frowns.

Confessional Ends:

"Okay… I'm a bit uh… A bit stumped here actually," Jemma admits, causing Gary to roll his eyes and run back over.

"Well, we can immediately cross off the fat guy and the crazy girl since they're already done." Jemma looks annoyed at the descriptions, but nods.

"Obviously,"

"Really the main way to do this is… Discount the people it couldn't be."

"Duh," The journalist shakes her head,

"Oh shut up." Without thinking, the theatre kid accidentally places the fact in Nadia's square, causing it to glow red and for him to be electrocuted and sent flying back. Gary coughs before dizzily commenting, "I'd like to thank the academy, aaaaaand-" before falling unconscious.

Jemma looks over to Gary with wide eyes before quietly saying to herself, "Well, it's not Nadia." Turning back to the other four spots she mutters, "Okay…"

Jake continues to sit, thinking over the secret, going, "Who'd do it twice?". "Well, I guess it might be him?" Jake closes his eyes before placing it in Xavier's slot… Which glows green.

"Good," he sighs with relief before his eyes glance over to the tablet Jemma is currently holding and he lets out a small gasp, his eyes going wide. Noticing this, Jemma looks up with an eyebrow raised.

"Oh?" The Journalist asks, "Is this yours?"

"N-no!" Jake calls out, "I was just uh… Surprised 'cause it was a good movie!"

"Suuuuuure," she smirks before placing it down in his slot. Jake groans as it glows green.

"Damn it…"

Confessional:

"It was an establishing shot," The leader elaborates. They filmed it at a hotel near our place and dad and I walked past on our way home while they were getting footage of the outside. We didn't notice the cameras and even know about it until the movie came out and we got a check for fifty bucks as extras…"

Confessional Ends:

Gary sits up groaning, "That hurt…" As he stands up, running his head, Jemma smiles at him and says,

"I figured it out, don't worry," Gary curtly nods and runs off, with Jake following behind him.

Meanwhile, Myron and Lauren continue searching. From the corner of her eye, Lauren notices one and calls out, "There's one!" Before she jumps down a small ledge and pulls the tablet out.

'This contestant secretly owns a very large amount of Total Drama merch.'

"I'm finding out who, 'cause I better have that beaten."

"Well, let's check then," The nerd responds as both run off towards the starting area.

Further along the path, Katrina walks towards them, after noticing them she picks up a large rock on the ground.

Meeting up with them, she comments, "Fancy meeting you two here."

"Oh yeah, we just love to surprise you," Lauren snarks in return.

"Have you found any tablets by any chance?" Katrina asks with a smile.

"Maybe, maybe not, how about you?"

"Same answer,"

The two girls glare determined at each other while Myron steps between them, turning to Lauren.

"How about we don't get distracted right now?" He says, "We all need to do the challenge."

"Fair enough," Katrina smiles, "Wouldn't want to be distracted," she smiles before patting Myron on the shoulder

"Yeah?"

"Well, gotta go," Katrina begins, "can't just stop. We need to win."

"O… Kay?" Katrina then jogs off as the pair of Tigers look at each other. The duo then make it back to the starting area before Lauren comments.

"What's it say again?" Myron then looks at it before his jaw drops.

"It's… Got nothing on it?"

"What?"

Look! Myron then hands it to Lauren, who inspects it, seeing nothing. Some distance away, Katrina smirks as a flashback starts.

"Wouldn't want to be distracted," Katrina says, patting Myron on the shoulder with one hand before knocking the tablet out of his hands with her free hand and putting the rock in its place. The flashback then ends.

"Katrina played us!" Lauren yells out, annoyed.

Confessional:

"I'm the one that should be playing her!" Lauren angrily continues her thought.

"We can't take our own." Katrina starts, "But he didn't say anything about stopping the other team from taking ours back to the front."

Confessional Ends:

"Let's split up to look for it," Lauren sighs.

"On it. I'll see you around." Both run away in different directions.

Meanwhile, fire blasts around the tablet as it slips below the ground.

Katrina continues her search before noticing a tablet surrounded by a ring of fire. After a moment, she says "I've been through worse," before taking a step back and quickly running and jumping above the fire. After properly balancing herself she leans down and grabs the tablet, before quickly running through.

Lauren runs back over to the clearing, seeing Susan standing around catching her breath. "Why aren't you doing the challenge?" She asks.

"I'm catching my breath," The genius states, "Got a problem with that?"

"I mean, with you? Yes,"

Jemma looks around, noticing something in the trees. "Is that a tablet?" She asks before running off to confirm her suspicion.

Katrina then runs over with the tablet in her hand and looks around, "Where's Jemma?" She then shrugs and looks at the board, "So It's between Susan, Rory, Lauren and Nadia for… This?

'In an argument with a friend, this contestant accidentally broke a china vase their mother owned and blamed their younger sibling.'

Who makes the most sense with this fact?" The Former Intern questions, confused before turning around and seeing Lauren and Susan. After looking at them for a second, she places the fact on Lauren's square. The square sparks before she's electrocuted. After a pause, she simply coughs once before falling over.

Jemma runs back over with no tablet in her hands, "My eyes must have been playing tricks on me," she then notices Katrina laying on the ground. Noticing the fact next to she grabs it before turning around and glaring at the duo from the other team. Lauren and Susan react as she glares, seeing their expressions, she puts it in Susan's slot, causing it to glow green.

Confessional:

Jemma sits with a smile before she starts to count off on her hands "Read the contestant's faces, look for micro-expressions that can give away that it's their secret. I'll need to have them there but this challenge is something I'm good at, would you look at that?"

Confessional Ends:

Lauren looks at Susan and asks, "You pulled an Owen?"

"An Owen?" she looks completely confused before the Fangirl explains.

"You blamed a younger sibling for something you did, Owen said he did that once in an Aftermath."

"Huh, I… Guess so, How's that specific to Owen though?"

"Well…" Lauren begins, "It doesn't matter." As Susan, rolls her eyes, Lauren continues her thought, "I guess breaking a vase isn't as bad as kicking your little brother down the stairs," Her teammate looks up shocked.

"Wait, what?"

The scene suddenly changes to Carol and Nadia looking in a bush. Bob walks up to them,

"Not a bad searching spot," he admits.

"Okay?" Nadia questions, Carol then says,

"Wanna join us?"

"Bad idea!" Nadia yells out in return before the bush starts to heat up. Bob quickly pulls both girls away as the bush burns.

"Yeah, I'm on board," Bob admits, before noting, "Guess we aren't looking there though."

"Why are we even going with Bob?" Questions a slightly annoyed Nadia, "We're on separate teams,"

"I mean, we're up against giant pillars of fire," calls out Bob, "I can just leave you two to deal with them if you want to."

"That's not…-" Nadia starts before thinking for a moment, "Okay that's what I was implying, but if you word it like that, don't go?"

"Yeah, I wasn't going to," As the group all walk ahead, fire blasts up around surrounding the trio.

"Woah!" Carol calls out in surprise,

The fire surrounding them causes the ground below to give way, and the trio fall into an underground part of the island.

After sitting up and dusting themselves off, The Hot Blooded grumbles out "Great… Jusssssst great."

"We can uh, make it out of here, don't worry!" Carol yells.

"Not helping!" Nadia calls out in return.

"Well geez okay," the Superhero Wannabe sighs.

Back on the surface, Xavier skids over to Jemma and a now standing Katrina, calling out, "I've got one!" With a tablet raised in the air.

"Then let's see it," Katrina replies.

'When going on their first date, this contestant puked after smelling their date's breath.'

"Well, it's Lauren, Rory or Nadia." The journalist starts, "Who'd be holding a secret like that?"

"Not sure, what do you think?"

"Well," Katrina begins, "Do we know enough about these three to specifically cross one of them out?"

"I mean, I don't think so." Jemma shrugs but Xavier starts to think.

"Bear with me on this one, if it's completely dumb then tell me. Lauren doesn't feel like she'd have this fact. Call me dumb but maybe hers is overtly obvious, as in a Total Drama related fact. It'd be obvious to give one to her, and they know that we know this, if they give her that we'd think that it can't be that because it's too obvious."

"I guess, but what if someone just guesses it on a whim?" Katrina questions back.

"That's why they have the shocks, to stop random guessing."

"I mean, I agree, but not for the reason you said," Jemma explains.

"Why then?"

"Well, I honestly think it might be Nadia. Lauren feels like she'd say something like that compared to Rory or Nadia, and Rory probably wouldn't live something like that down. Nadia's the middle ground, doesn't seem like a big popular town hero or anything, but wouldn't blurt something like this out."

"So Nadia?" Xavier questions, "Alright, I'm willing to try that," He then grabs the fact and slots it in.

"Wait a sec!" Katrina yells out, however, the slot then glows green to show success. Xavier then cheers out,

"Yes!"

"Okay, that's two points left to get!" Jemma calls as Xavier and Katrina leave.

The scene next changes to Jake wandering in the woods, before he finds Susan, carrying a fact in her hand. "Wanna talk?" He asks.

"Alright," was the apprehensive response.

"Okay, what did you find?"

"I found a fact about someone taking their brother to a theme park, but I have no idea who that could actually be talking about,"

"Well, last I saw we had Jemma and Xavier completely crossed off and Gary and Katrina both have one of theirs done, so you have three out of seven left to choose between."

"Really? Any idea where the other ones are?"

"Not sure really, maybe underground?" Both chuckle.

"Alright then, how's the other team doing?"

"When I was there the only ones they had were Myron, Carol and me, but I have been away a while so it could be more."

"Yeah… Mine is down there too, so that's at least four."

"Nice to know." After a few seconds, Susan awkwardly coughs, saying, "Soooo… About yesterday…"

"Look I get it," Jake cuts her off, "I shouldn't have been so direct with you after you had such a raw conversation with Carol, my bad."

"I still shouldn't have taken it out my annoyance on you,"

"Yeah, but we both had our reasons for acting the way we did," The leader smiles, "It may have looked like I was handling everything alright, but I was a mess after the last challenge,"

"Cause of Xavier I presume," Susan's knowing smirk causes Jake to blush.

"Well…" The leader does a small nod, before quickly changing the subject, "Look, I just want to follow up after yesterday in general."

"Oh, alright," as the two continue speaking, from behind the trees, Myron walks by, noticing the duo, causing him to look shocked and hide behind one of the trees.

"Look, people aren't as hurt as they were before, but you still have a good way to go before you gain everyone's trust again,"

"Yeah, I know that… Being the one affected kind of tells you that."

"Well yeah. Just getting the basics down so we know where each other's at before we continue."

"Sure," The genius shrugs. "Any more ideas?"

"Eh, Nadia never really liked you, and Myron hates you now. Lauren apparently does too so you're really running out of options."

"I mean, you could flip to my side," Susan jokes, however, watching the scene, Myron gasps before running off.

Confessional:

"I KNEW IT!" Myron yells angrily, "Susan's getting Jake on her side! Now I know I can't trust him either!"

Confessional Ends:

"Gonna have to say no to that one," Jake chuckles, But if I'm being completely honest, if we can just get a win, I'd say it's been long enough that you can probably try and talk to Rory."

"I did try last night," Susan says back, "Didn't turn out the best."

Jake sighs at this info, "What did he tell you?"

"He said he's gonna treat me nicely but that we're pretty much done."

"You really did a number on him."

"No duh,"

"Well, really you're at the point where you just have to sit down and be truthful to him," Jake says with a frown. "Even if he doesn't accept it, people take time, and you might just have to accept that, at least while in the game, he probably won't be too over on you,"

"I'm well aware." Susan sighs before slouching. Noticing this, Jake changes the subject.

"Anyways, with elimination. I think I can potentially get Nadia and Myron to vote Lauren if you want to join us. Either she's lying or the idol's dealt with."

"Well, it's my best bet, sure. I'll see if I can convince Carol as well."

"Cool, I'll probably be able to tell them after the challenge today." Susan nods at Jake before turning around and saying.

"We should get back to the challenge."

"Yeah, good point," Jake comments, "sorry we couldn't talk more,"

"All good," Jake nods before he runs away. Right after he gets far enough away, a blast of fire shoots out where he was, causing Susan to leap back with a yelp. Noticing her dress barely escaped being caught on fire she sighs with relief.

After it stops, she looks up and sees a fact in the tree above.

"Sweet," she says to herself before very slowly starting to climb the tree. After struggling for a few moments, she goes, "How far up am I?" Before looking down and seeing she's barely off the ground. She then slides back down the tree and groans.

Myron continues to run, before he literally collides with Lauren, knocking both to the ground.

"Ow! What was that for?" The fangirl asks, before looking over and seeing Myron's expression and looking surprised. "What's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost!"

"J-Jake's working with Susan," Lauren's eyes go wide.

Confessional:

"… What?" She says, deadpan.

Confessional Ends:

"Tell me more," Lauren demands.

"He was talking to her about making friends and all that. If he wants her to get along with everyone he probably wants her to stay in. Then she mentioned getting him in an alliance."

"Ergo, he's probably working with her…" Lauren glares at Myron, who nods.

Confessional:

"I was going to pull apart Jake's alliance next… But maybe I can get Myron as a ride or die if I team up with him here." Lauren groans, "I just wish I could have voted for Susan next elimination." She then pauses, "Maybe I still can? If Myron's on my side I can get Rory's vote, and with Carol's, that's four against two."

Confessional Ends:

"We need to get him out then," Lauren admits before sighing. "You think you know a guy."

"No, no I want Susan out first…" Myron starts, deep in thought, "But I'm telling Nadia… She's not going to like this."

Confessional:

"Or I can just get him to do my dirty work, I'm not complaining," Lauren shrugs.

"But why though?" Myron asks, "Why'd he work with her? That's what I'm not getting."

Confessional Ends:

"G-gotta go," Myron says as he runs off.

"If you ever want to talk with anyone about being betrayed, I know how it feels!"

The scene changes to Gary, who starts to walk around, before he steps on some leaves. Though he gets the expected crunch, his foot hits something hard.

"Huh?" he asks, before leaning down and digging through the leaves, finding a fact for an Electric Tigers member.

'Over eight hours, this contestant binged a show the night before their finals at school.'

"Binged a show you say?" he asks before it cuts back over to the board with all the contestants on it. "Well really the only people I could see doing that are either done already… Or you,"

Gary places the fact in Lauren's slot. As it turns green, he and Jemma turn to look at her as she runs in. Once getting to the centre she asks, "Is there any doubt what show it was?"

"Let me guess, Ridonculous Race?" Jemma snarks.

"Absolute comedian right here," The fangirl says back, sarcastically clapping.

Confessional:

"I still passed!" She pauses for a second before saying, "Barely… But it was a pass!" The fangirl then becomes defensive. "What? The show was formative to me growing up, I had to watch Island one last time before finishing school."

Confessional Ends:

Down underground, Carol and Bob have a chat. "So, you just… Take it back? What if he finds out where you moved it?"

"We can cross that bridge when we reach it," Bob admits, stone-faced.

"Well I haven't been in this group for long," Nadia begins, walking up, "But why do you even want to keep it a secret? Wouldn't it be easier just letting everyone know?"

"I don't have to reveal everything to you, and especially to the others." Bob glares.

"Geez, alright. All I'm saying is, if everyone knows about it, then you won't have to hide it anymore, and Gary can't use it as ammunition against you."

"Wow, yeah, then I'll be the big guy who's actually a loser." The giant begins, though he starts to think about what was just told to him, still looking worried.

"Well, I guess the street cred thing makes sense, but you should risk it anyways, you have allies, and if people make fun of you you're literally like, nearly twice the height of half of them." Nadia's face darkens after saying this, thinking.

Confessional:

"He may not want to reveal it, but he might have to," Nadia admits, "And I might just have to be one that 'convinces' him."

Confessional Ends:

"Look!" Carol suddenly yells out, "There's a couple of tablets!" The other two walk over to see a blue and yellow fact,

'After eating eight hot peppers on a dare, this contestant fainted from how spicy it was and almost went to the hospital,'

'This contestant secretly owns a very large amount of Total Drama merch.'

"One for each team," Nadia comments, "Okay then…"

"And the merch one is the one we have to guess?" Carol adds in, before sarcastically continuing, "Well at least that doesn't make it obvious."

"Well, what if it's your last one?" Bob adds.

"Hopefully," Nadia snarks back.

Bob turns to the girls and says, "I'll go ahead and see if I can find a way out."

"Alright, just tell us if you do," Carol nods

"Will do," Bob then leaves, with Carol smiling. Nadia turns to her and states,

"He's on the other team Carol, he'll make a mad dash to the end and then get us."

"Why don't you trust him?" Carol questions.

"I literally just said why."

"But he's not heartless, it's like you think he is. He's gruff, sure, but he's not going to do something vile just because he thinks it's funny or something."

"I'm not saying that, he's probably fine as a person."

"But you're implying it."

"I'm being a realist, you're just immediately jumping to his defence like you're going out with him or something."

"No, he's a friend," Carol pointedly frowns, though her cheeks flash red for a second, "I don't know how to tell you but he's my friend so I don't like when people make fun of him."

"Okay then, what got you to be friends with him then?" Carol's face morphs into a look of confusion.

"What do you mean?"

"He's on the other team," Nadia elaborates, "You had to become friends with him somehow for you to be in his inner circle thing earlier,"

Carol's face goes red as she sputters, "Well- I uh- well I-,"

"Come on, spit it out," The Latina responds, causing Carol to look at her and sigh,

"Okay, so we had this rivalry thing going on in the water maze and bear finding challenge, but when we got to the cave challenge, we teamed up cause two pairs of hands are better than one, and we just… Got to talk. After that we became friends."

"Alright, I just want to know has that affected anything challenge-wise?"

"No," Carol replies seriously, "I've gone out of my way to not let it affect the challenges. I saw he was mad in the duelling sticks challenge and I tried to talk to him, but I was actively trying to win at the same time so don't think I just gave up."

"I never thought you gave up on that challenge," Nadia shrugs, "Look, I am tough on you, I admit, but the superhero thing makes me feel like you're gonna act like Leonard or Max,"

"I'm not Leonard!" She hurriedly yells, causing her teammate to look surprised, "Look, I know you're just saying it as an example, but I'm not like Leonard." she focuses on her breathing, "S-sorry, I'm just... Too used to people treating me like I'm insane, or an idiot. I've got interests that I take to degrees people don't expect but I do have a brain with thoughts that aren't just Superheroes in there." she points at her head.

Nadia looks at her, eyes her up and down, thinks for a moment, and then sighs, "Okay, you're right, I am pretty rude to you sometimes… I do have a bitchy streak in me, I'm mature enough to admit it… You're just… A handful sometimes but I shouldn't take it out on you."

"Wait really?" Carol replies,

"Everyone has passions, I actually enjoy baking for one, I can make a great quiche, and everyone in my family agrees. The point is, I shouldn't get annoyed at someone just because they are a fan of something and express it very publicly…"

Nadia stares at Carol and says, "For clarity, I don't think we're going to be friends, and we're still voting with alliances and all that even if it's against the other, but hopefully we can work decently as acquaintances without me trying to get up in your face." She then puts her hand out, "What do you say? Teammate?"

Carol looks at her with a slightly surprised face for a few moments, she then puts her hand out as well, replying, "teammate."

The two girls nod at each other before looking around again.

"So how are we gonna get out of this?" Nadia asks,

"Not sure," Carol shrugs.

"Hey girls!" Bob yells, "Where are you two?"

"We should probably follow after him," both girls then run ahead to meet up with the Giant.

Meanwhile, on the surface, Gary walks over to Jemma, before asking, "So, what's the answer for yesterday? Are you in, or not?"

After a few moments of thinking, the Journalist closes her eyes before sighing and saying, "Fine, yes. But I can flip on you at any point and you can't hold it against me."

Confessional:

"Agreeing to work with Gary feels like hurting an orphan," Jemma mutters, annoyed, "But I have to for something I have in mind. He's in a bad spot, he legitimately can't turn on me right now, even if he wanted to. So, if I have to make a temporary deal with the devil… I guess I should get my soul ready."

Confessional Ends:

"Deal," The theatre kid frowns before it twists into a fake smile and he says. "It'll be a pleasure working with you," the pair shake hands as Jemma rolls her eyes and mutters.

"That goes for one of us,"

"I'll pretend I didn't hear that," Gary whispers to her.

"You don't have to," Jemma whispers back, "just because we're aligned doesn't mean I trust you."

"Of course, you don't," he nods as the two walk away from each other. Rory then walks over, seeing the points and says.

"How did this happen? We had three points at the start… Now we're two behind?"

Confessional:

"What I said to Susan before was supposed to lift her mood, not come true!" Rory angrily begins. "Especially against us!"

Confessional Ends:

"Not for long!" a voice calls over as Susan walks over fast with two facts she grabbed in her hands. Rory steps aside to let her work as she looks at the remaining three spaces and the two choices she currently has, she says to herself, "Okay… So two with three left… It shouldn't be too bad right?"

Looking at the fact she grabbed in the tree, she reads,

'After going on a jog, this camper leant against a tree that was barely standing and applied just enough pressure to push it over.'

"I'm going out on a limb I'm gonna say… You?" She then places it in Bob's slot as she closes her eyes. Opening them again she sees it glowing green and says, "Cool. Now that just leaves a fifty-fifty chance…" After a few moments, she frowns. "Uh…"

Rory walks over saying, "What's wrong?" Susan freezes for a moment in surprise.

"Rory?"

"That's my name." The Jock comments neutrally.

"Uh, well I'm stuck between which one I should put this fact in."

"Let me have a look," the pair then look at the fact,

'This contestant took their younger brother to a theme park and paid for everything right after passing their driving exam.'

"Aww, that's kinda cute," Rory says with a smile before both pause, stuck in thought. Rory breaks the silence by saying, "Well, the main question is, who does it make more sense for?"

"Not sure, who has more of a family life?"

After pausing, Rory says, "Well to be fair, if we don't know, then one of us can just put it in one slot, and if we get shocked then the other can put it in the other one and get it correct."

"Brute force method," Susan thinks back, "it's an idea. I don't want to risk either of us getting shocked though."

"Well, then I'm going to guess Katrina… She doesn't tell people much about herself so it could work."

"I guess…" Susan says before she places it in Katrina's slot. The slot glows red before sending the genius flying back with a shock.

"Oops… My bad!" Rory calls out before picking up the fact and quickly placing it in Gary's slot, letting it glow green. He then moves Susan out of the way, leaning her against a tree. "Uh... Sorry, I guess," the jock says before running off.

Back underground Bob meets up with the girls before he holds his head, blinking a few times. Carol notices this and asks, "What's wrong?"

"Starting to feel kinda tired," he admits, before walking over and saying, "Well that's a dead end…" He then sighs and says, "How about we try and dig ourselves out?"

"How do we do that?" Carol questions.

"Well, do you have anything on the utility belt?"

"Well, uh…" She takes off the belt and looks through, "ketchup packets, my rope, a random toy shovel I found at a dollar store, my water bo- hang on a second, the random toy shovel I found at the dollar store!"

"Well, that can help us out. I can probably dig with my hands… Nadia, how about you?"

"No, surprisingly, I don't have a utility belt or excavator arms like you two,"

However, from above, Jemma pauses, hearing muffled voices.

"Is someone saying something?" she says walking around curiously,

"Wait was that?" Bob realises before starting to yell, "HEY! JEMMA! CAN YOU HEAR ME!?"

"Is that…? Bob?"

"Yeah! It's me! We need some help here!"

Unfortunately, while the trio below can hear Jemma well, the one above ground goes, "I-I can't hear you clearly, speak up!"

"I was yelling about as loud as I can go just then," Bob admits.

"If your yelling wasn't loud enough, then what is?" Nadia asks. The other two look at her.

Carol comments "I mean, you have a lot of practice." As Nadia goes to retort, she pauses, before admitting,

"Alright fair enough, ouch… Okay, I'll try yelling as loud as I can then."

Confessional:

"I mean, it's not just because I've got a temper," The Latina shrugs. "I'm also the oldest of four and while I love my siblings, and I barely raise my voice, I have had practice."

Confessional Ends:

Nadia clears her throat before screaming out, "HEY! JEMMA! IT'S ME, NADIA, I'M STUCK DOWN HERE WITH CAROL AND BOB, GET SOME HELP SO YOU CAN HELP DIG US OUT! WE'RE GOING TO TRY FROM DOWN HERE,"

Jemma, having overheard it all, pauses before saying, "On it!" She then calls out, "Hey guys! Help me out here, the other three somehow got underground!" In response to that, Rory, Katrina, Myron, Jake and Xavier all run over to start digging with the Journalist, while Susan, Gary and Lauren mill around.

"Let's do this!" Carol yells before getting the shovel and starting to dig.

"LOOKING GOOD EVERYONE, WE'RE GETTING THROUGH THE GROUND EASY!" Nadia then grabs the water bottle from Carol's utility belt and starts to drink from it. "Never ask me to yell that loud ever again," she complains before she joins the rest in shovelling.

After around a minute, a small bit of dirt remains as Bob manages to poke a hole through it, letting sunlight through.

"Can you all hear me now?" Bob calls out,

"Yeah," Xavier responds.

"Cool, get out of the way then," he says. As the nine above step out of the way, he turns to the girls and says, "That goes for you as well,"

"What's your plan?"

"The thing I'm best at," Bob says as he balls his hands up into fists. One punch causes the ground to shake as dirt falls. A second causes a large clump of dirt to drop and a hole to be open in turn. "Just… Open already!" He yells before throwing the third punch.

The ground rumbles as Carol yells, "DUCK!" And all three jump out of the way. The opening the contestants created falls, causing an exit to be formed.

"WOAH!" Chris yells, "Looks like we have a tunnel now…" He looks over to see Carol, Bob and Nadia start to climb out.

Out of the cave first is Bob as he runs ahead, holding the remaining fact in his hands as Nadia and Carol start to climb out of the caves.

"We can still win this," Nadia affirms.

"How have you not thrown out your voice?" The superhero questions.

"It'll take a lot more to throw out my voice…" She then pauses, "I'm just gonna have to not yell at people anymore today."

"Both teams have the final point needed to win," Chris yells, "now all it comes down to is who's faster!"

Bob dashes forward, looking back to see the girls struggling.

"You can do it, Bob!" Xavier yells out,

"You better do it!" Gary adds on.

However, lack of sleep and physical strain starts to take their toll on Bob, who groans as he puts his hand up to his head and slows down.

"Don't you dare stop!" Gary yells out, Bob shakes his head, and starts to walk closer.

Bob's eyes start to flutter from fatigue as he says… "No… I can't just lose now…" His walking slows as the duo from the Tigers climb out of the hole.

"Now's our chance!" Nadia yells as the girls run past him.

"No…" Bob mutters, before he forces his eyes open, "NOT LIKE THIS!" The giant then speeds ahead, fighting the urge to sleep as he sees the two girls running forward. Bob then uses the last of his energy to sprint a few metres ahead and place the fact down, before his body gives out and he falls over, asleep.

"AND THE FROZEN LIONS WIN THE CHALLENGE!" Chris yells as Xavier, Katrina and Gary run over and help Bob up.

"Good job big guy," Xavier smiles at the Giant.

"Don't know why you just started sleeping but good job winning for us," Gary shrugs.

Carol and Nadia walk over, saddened as Chris says, "Tough luck girls, you avoided sending someone home last time, but not this time."

Confessional:

"Two losses in a row?" an exasperated Nadia questions, "What are we? The Lions?"

"It sucks we lost," Carol admits, frowning, "But at least I've… Sort of gotten Nadia to not hate me?" She looks at the camera with a smile, "That's a start, right?"

Confessional Ends:

Susan watches the scene, eyes wide and worried, "This is bad," she whispers to herself, before jogging away.

Carolshrugs before walking over and placing the last tablet down on Katrina's second slot.

'This contestant owns a very large amount of Total Drama merch.'

This causes the Lions to look at her in bewilderment.

"Don't you hate this show?" Jemma asks before the intern rolls her eyes.

"Yeah, I do, but they made me take some merch home because I was an intern. The only reason I've still got it is because in a few years it'll be a collector's item and I can sell it online and make bank off it."

Confessional:

"If this season doesn't work out then I have that stuff to fall back on," Katrina shrugs, "I'm sure some weird collector out there wants to pay ten thousand for a Chris McLean standee. Heck, Lauren's right there."

Confessional Ends:

Nadia also walks over and sees her fact before facepalming.

Confessional:

"In my defence, her breath was that bad!"

Confessional Ends:

"Now, campers, head back to Base Camp, and Tigers, get ready for elimination tonight!"

The Tigers all groan before leaving, with the camera flashing over to Base Camp.

Katrina walks along a path before she meets up with Jemma. "Over here," the Journalist whispers. The former intern follows her to an empty area.

Jemma starts by saying, "so about that Gary elimination pact from yesterday?"

"Oh yeah, you have an answer?"

"Yeah, I'm on board."

"Cool. We have the majority, I've got Xavier's vote."

"Sweet,"

Confessional:

"Yeah, I aligned with both of them," Jemma explains, "I fully admit this is risky, but it's a risk I think I can take. I'll decide which one I actually want to team up with next time we lose."

Confessional Ends:

Myron walks over to Nadia and taps her on the shoulder, saying to her, "Can we talk for a minute?"

"Sure?" The Hot Blooded shrugs as the two walk away. A little distance away, Myron says, "I think Jake has an alliance with Susan…"

"And your proof?"

"I found them chatting today, they were talking about fixing her social game and getting her friends again." Nadia raises an eyebrow, but continues

"Let's think through this. Why would Jake want to work against the alliance? We nearly have the majority and he's literally been teamed with me since the start. I admit it sounds bad, but there might be a reason for this in the end."

"And what if there isn't?" The nerd questions back.

"Then we vote him off after Susan. But at the very least, I say we should hear him out."

Myron pauses for a few seconds before sighing, "Fine…"

"Good. Let's do it now"

The scene changes to Myron walking over to Jake and simply saying "We need to talk…"

"What's up?" The leader asks, concerned.

Another flash brings the scene to the trio chatting while sitting in chairs.

"So, are you aligned with Susan or not?" Nadia asks Jake, who sighs, looking annoyed.

"Look, I talked with her, but it was to get her perspective." Jake begins, "It's not a crime to get the other side's viewpoint on a situation. While what was said about her was bad, it's better to have the full context. After that, I said I would make people not hate her, not keep her in or anything, but not hate her. I'll still vote her off at elimination if needed, and if she even thought about voting off any of the three of us, then I was going to step away and let her handle the situation herself.

I let her know these stipulations, and she agreed, so yes, she's talking to me, but it's not an alliance. I didn't say anything to you guys because it's not that big of a deal. Plus, I had a feeling it would be taken the wrong way, and hey presto, would you look at that."

"What about Susan asking you to join an alliance?" Myron jumps in.

Jake raises an eyebrow confused, before realising what he's referring to, "Oh that, that was a joke. I'm not doom and gloom all the time, I can chuckle at a joke, and I said no to it if you're wondering. I don't even think she holds it against me."

Pausing for a few seconds, Nadia turns to Jake and sighs, "You had me scared there for a sec. Look, let us know if you're doing something like that from now on so we can discuss strategy about it."

"Why even try?" Myron jumps in, "Do you want her to become as powerful as she was before?"

"Well, no, but I felt bad for her. It's not that complicated, I just wanted to give her a bit of a hand."

"Sounds good to me," Nadia shrugs, before looking at Myron. "Looks like you making a mountain out of a molehill man."

"I think it was a pretty valid concern right there," Myron lets out a sardonic chuckle, before calming himself down. "Okay, okay, I'll drop it for now. You have to give me ten minutes to cool off."

"Sure," Myron then walks away, Jake shakes his head,

"Don't know what his issue with you is?" Nadia questions.

"Eh, it's a fair enough concern," The leader frowns, "It's a bit annoying that it feels like he's really against me though."

Nadia shrugs and says, "I dunno what to tell you, dude." She then looks around and whispers to him, "Look, I'm gonna need you outside in around twenty minutes give or take, as well as everyone else, I got involved in something today funny enough."

"What is it?"

"You'll find out then, but I'd say it's pretty important."

"Well, I'm interested now, sure."

"Sweet," The pair then stand up and both walk out of the room, with Nadia travelling outside and rounding a corner to see Bob, Carol and Xavier already waiting.

"What took you so long?" Bob asks,

"Well I mean, you fell asleep, thought I had time,"

"I got five hours or so, it's enough to keep me going for now."

"Anyways, I was getting ready, had something I needed to deal with first,"

"Fine," The giant sighs, "But just get over here.

"Don't be so antsy, we've still got a while,"

"I mean, I'd prefer sooner rather than later," Xavier admits, before chuckling and saying, "I'm gonna enjoy this."

"It's nearly time," Carol says, looking out the side with a whisper, causing all four to watch from behind the wall.

Gary walks towards the cabins as the four look on.

"Are we really doing this?" Carol questions.

"Yeah," Bob says determined before the quartet all stands in a circle. "You two know your roles," Bob then points at Nadia before continuing, "You're the lookout, don't get involved unless things go south." The girl nods before the giant turns to the group and says, "Now let's get to it,"

Confessional:

"I'm up first," Xavier smiles, "Getting to do some acting too, that's quite fun. This plan hinges on me a lot, so I need to be in character. Good thing we share something pretty big in common."

Confessional Ends:

Xavier walks over to Gary, tapping him on the shoulder and asking him, "Hey can I talk with you for a minute?"

"Eh, sure I guess." The two then walk away from the area as Nadia also splits off, heading towards the cabins.

"Look, I've been thinking," Xavier begins, "And I just want to say I'm sorry for overreacting back at Tegan's elimination, maybe we should be in an alliance again,"

"You serious?" Gary questions before Xavier nods.

Bob and Carol pop out from the side with a smile at each other. "You ready?" Carol asks.

"Born ready," The giant responds. With that, the pair walk over to the confessional, peering in.

"It's not likely," Bob begins, "But we could start here to double check,"

"I don't know if I want to check the toilet water," Carol admits, frowning.

"I highly doubt it's in here, but I thought I'd get this out of the way first." After a few moments, they plug their nose and turn around, quickly leaving.

"I can talk a lot in there, but actually focusing on the smell?" Carol asks, "Yuck!"

The pair then continue to look around as the scene changes to Xavier and Gary.

"So what got you working with me again?" Gary questions, curious.

Xavier grimaces for a moment, before quickly starting, "Well after I nearly drowned, you were the only one that realised we needed to win the challenge still, and you did so. It's all thanks to you we won. I respect that, and well… I liked being in an alliance with you in general." Gary looks genuinely surprised by that, asking.

"So there's really… No hard feelings about that?"

"Look, it seems kinda messed up, I admit it, but we were already so behind in team members that if Chris wasn't going to cancel the challenge, and you were the only one focusing on the game, then the ends justify the means."

"Hm, alright," Gary shrugs with a smile, though he begins to think.

Bob and Carol next look in the forest. "Gary met up with me so much in here, that I'm sure this has one of the highest chances of being found."

"Search the bushes?"

"Yep." Both then begin their search.

Nadia sits at a table, bored before Jemma walks over to her. "How's it going?"

"Not bad. pretty much just waiting for something," Nadia shrugs.

"What?"

"No spoiling. It'll be worth it though. Can I get you to get everyone in the general area though?"

"Sure?" Jemma questions before both see Jake walk out of the cabin with Myron and Susan in tow.

Bob and Carol pull out of the bushes, looking worried, "I don't know if Xavier can keep him occupied for much longer," Bob admits, "But I have one last big area I can think of."

"Okay, what is it?"

"My Cabin. Gary sleeps there too."

"Wouldn't you have noticed it there?"

"Maybe, but if there was anywhere he'd be able to keep an eye on something, it'd be in the cabins, in something he owns… Like his bag,"

"It's worth a shot," Carol sighs. The scene then changes to the pair entering the Frozen Lion's cabin. She turns to her friend and asks, "So, check his bag?

"Yeah, I'll see if I can find anything around here." Carol notices the bag poking out from under his bed and pulls it out.

Xavier continues to chat with Gary, "So Jemma's our next vote I'm guessing?" Gary turns to look behind himself.

"No, it's Katrina, she's too big of… a… threat," The Theatre Kid trails off before he glares, "This feels too good to be true. Sorry if you are being serious, but I need to check something." before he turns around and runs away.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Xavier calls out, "I'm right here dude, don't just ignore me like that!"

In the cabins, Carol pulls out a prop goblet and skull, "not finding anything," she then admits, "And I know what he's done, but it still feels weird going through someone's bag."

"Fair enough," Bob grumbles as he looks around. Carol then pulls something else out of the bag and says,

"That's kinda strange… He brought a screwdriver along,"

"Unless he plays a really good family dad or handyman character, a screwdriver feels like a weird choice to bring along to the show."

"Exactly." Bob then steps back and trips over on a floorboard.

"OW!" He yells before he looks and sees a nail sticking out of the ground. "Hand me the screwdriver Carol." After she complies, Bob unscrews one side and lifts it up, causing a rat to scurry away into the dark… Below that is a darkened object that he pulls out.

The plush dog he was looking for.

"It's… It's him…" Bob says, Carol, smiles at the Giant while screwing the nails back in. "I'm… I'm free…" He says, before chuckling, which turns into laughter. "I can't believe it… I'm actually free!"

The pair stand up before Carol calls out, "We found it!" and hugs Bob. After the giant looks down at her surprised she quickly mutters "Oh uh… Sorry," before quickly moving away.

"It's… Fine," Bob says back, "We need to go though,"

"Y-yeah," Carol quickly says back.

As they leave the building, Gary arrives back with Xavier following after him. He notices Bob and Carol walking out with the plush, causing him to glare at Xavier, who looks at the other two.

"Sorry guys, I couldn't keep him back long enough," before stepping away.

"All good Xav," Bob turns to his friend, "It was long enough."

Gary walks over to Bob, saying, "Do you think this solves anything? I've got loads of hiding spots. The moment you get this out of your sight, I'll be there, and you won't be able to grab it again." Bob freezes before he starts breathing heavier. "Anyways," Gary continues, "Nobody else knows, except Xavier and Carol evidently, so you can't yell about this to everyone without admitting how much of a baby you actually are,"

From a distance Nadia watches the conversation going on, causing her to look determined.

Confessional:

"That's bad enough," she glares.

Confessional Ends:

Nadia turns to the others and tells Jake, "Can you get everyone here to follow me

"I'm going to just have to look after him better then." The Juggernaut spitefully states back.

"Oh yeah, and lose out on that social game? Yeah right." Bob rolls his eyes.

"With my strength, I'm gonna stay for a while."

"Then you lose, and you're booted for being a threat? Face it, you may have the strength, but I have the power."

"That's where you're wrong!" Nadia's voice calls out, as she walks over with the rest of the campers in tow.

"What's uh…? What's going on?" Rory questions.

"What are you doing Nadia?" Bob questions, eyes wide.

"You're gonna hate me for now, but it's better in the long run, believe me."

Confessional:

Nadia frowns, saying, "Gary's gonna keep coming back if Bob keeps it a secret."

Confessional Ends

Bob looks up at everyone with a worried expression before saying, "W-well,"

"I think my sister had a plush dog like that," Katrina notes, drawing all eyes to Bob's plush. Gary and Carol both watch the situation, mouth agape.

After a moment, Bob's expression hardens again, saying, "W-well, Get your laughing out now because I have this plush on me, a-along with two others. Gary blackmailed me with this one he stole from me."

Several moments pass as everyone simply watches on. Most of the campers then start to speak again,

"Huh,"

"Didn't expect that,"

"Okay,"

Bob's face drops slightly as he watches over the other campers' mostly neutral expressions.

"You're… Not going to… Laugh?"

"Not really…" Susan shrugs, "I mean, it's sort of childish but it doesn't hurt anyone."

Confessional:

"Plus, not laughing at him makes him not dislike you, and that means you have a chance of getting him on your side," The Brainiac comments with a smile. "Also look at him, he could crush someone like me like a grape if I laughed."

Confessional Ends:

Gary regains his composure, quickly running in and saying, "In my defence, this is one, big misunderstanding,"

"Seriously?" Bob questions the Theatre Kid, "I literally just told them all what you did."

"I assure you," Gary keeps speaking to the large group, "I found the plush, and was going to give it back to whoever owned it, it's not as bad as he made it sound, he's probably just trying to get on your good sides because he's been shady for the last couple days,"

Gary's comments cause Bob to roar back to being angry, "BECAUSE YOU BLACKMAILED ME INTO BEING YOUR SLAVE!?" The giant grabs Gary by the collar and lifts him into the air.

"Okay, okay, everyone let's cool down," Carol says, also regaining composure and running in between the two, "Come on Bob, it's not worth it." Bob looks down at his friend before then looking over to everyone else. Seeing everyone's expressions, the giant drops Gary onto the ground.

"You know what… You're right." Bob says, his face still glaring. "I wish it was, but it isn't."

Confessional:

Bob takes deep breaths before saying, "If I took the time to beat up Gary like I wanted to, then those guys probably would have seen me as some deranged lunatic. This keeps me from being seen like that and I would honestly prefer it that way, especially since I'm starting to realise more and more that I need allies to win. Carol and Xavier are good, but keeping the heat off of me specifically is good too."

Confessional Ends:

The other seven contestants all stand around, as Jake asks, "So that's it? Anything else?"

"Not really…" Bob mutters, "That's all."

The seven campers start to slowly leave the area, leaving just the five involved majorly.

"That's… A development," Xavier states, shocked before walking over to his group.

"Fuck all of you," is all Gary can say to the four before he stomps away.

Confessional:

"I still have ideas," Gary starts, "it's bad but not a dealbreaker… I can recover."

Confessional Ends:

Bob sits down, stone-faced before slowly looking at Nadia. "What… Did you do?" He quietly starts.

"Stopped it from getting any worse," The Hot-Blooded says seriously. "I'm sorry, but I'm being a realist."

Xavier and Carol stare at each other before Carol says to Nadia.

"It… Wasn't necessary. We could have just-"

"Gone away with the plush? Gary had a good thing going, you think he isn't just gonna snatch it again?"

"I need some time to myself to… Process all this." Bob cuts in, seriously, standing up before walking away without a word.

Confessional:

"I hope Bob's… Alright," Xavier frowns, "I've seen him angry, happy, worried, but not like this."

Confessional Ends:

Several metres away, Jemma turns back to look at Bob walking away.

Confessional:

"So, he says he was blackmailed eh… Part of me wants to think he's trying to cover his ass… But at the same time, he seemed genuinely off guard. I doubt he could have made something like that up on the spot. So, Is he telling the truth?" She then says, "And if the whole blackmail thing was correct, then is aligning with Gary all that good of an idea?"

Confessional Ends:

Turning a corner, Jemma sees Gary scowls at her.

"Yes?" The journalist asks.

"I can't believe I'm here saying this to you," Gary starts with a sigh, "but I need you in the alliance, so… What can I do to secure you on my side?"

Jemma freezes in surprise, before saying, "The first step is being completely honest about the Bob situation, I want to hear what you have to say."

"Oh, he came to me and Katrina, went on some sexist rant about how he's scared about all the girls in your alliance, wanted to make sure the guys were on top. We were disgusted about what he said, but I convinced Katrina to join us because we needed a fourth vote to send Megan home since you decided to take out Hannah. So he stayed."

Jemma looks surprised for a second before saying, "Wow… You think you know a guy,"

Confessional:

"Here's the deal," Jemma begins. "What Gary just told me about Bob sounds fishier than ol' Alton at home, and he's a Fishmonger!" She then looks at the camera. "But I'll hear him out anyways, humour him."

Confessional Ends:

"He tried to finesse his way out of our group and into yours again because you didn't know what he said." Jemma looks on with fake shock as Gary continues his story, "but I found that plush of his and told him about how sad it would be learning about what he said. So then I got him in my group. You can call it blackmail, but I call it, karma for acting like that one guy from season one… Uh, Ezekiel is it?"

Pausing for a few seconds, Jemma then says, "Well if that's the truth then thank you for telling me,"

"No problems… I just wanted to see if we were on the same page still."

"We should be, I want to ask you something first."

"Sure, what is it?"

"Why should I be in an alliance with you if it's safer to just go with Katrina? Especially after today, if I vote with you then the team's bound to be mad at me."

"Well, here's the deal. Since Bob made himself look good as he jumped ship, Xavier's leaning towards Katrina still and Katrina's planning my boot. I have literally no allies on this team. If you keep me in, I'm not as potentially powerful as Katrina, which means you have a better chance on the team. I said this before, and I'm saying it again because it's the truth, and I'm not in a good spot to lie to you."

"That is true… Alright, you've given me a lot to think about."

"I'm not going to betray you." Gary glares before Jemma walks away.

Confessional:

"He's not lying about everything," Jemma notes, "but he's both desperate, and desperately wants me to be mad at Bob. I can use this."

"I don't think Jemma's convinced about Bob, but I think she's placated for now." Gary glares at the camera before saying, "Still a lot of work to do, but it's a start." The Theatre Kid grumbles to himself, "I had to tell some of the truth… Adding just a hint of honestly gets people to like me more and potentially stick with me, so if in the meantime while I'm looking for that idol, I have to tell them that I need them as an ally and that my alliance is gone, they'll feel safe in teaming with me because I won't be a threat if they 'betray' me. It's risky, but I have to take risks at this point."

Confessionals End:

Jemma walks away from the interaction, stuck in thought before she looks over and sees Bob walking back to the cabins. As their eyes meet, both look away awkwardly.

Confessional:

"I'm… I'm just gonna let Jemma come to me when she's ready to talk to me about everything," Bob comments, still shocked. "That's just going to be better than going to her, trying to talk, and getting rebuffed."

"After how I've been treating him, Bob's gotta be pissed at me," Jemma says with a grimace, "But I'll let him talk to me when he wants now. I've been taking my anger about what happened out on him, and I can admit I went a bit far. Still, he's been trying to talk to me, so I'll let him next time we have the chance." Jemma then leans back and says, "I don't think anything can go wrong here,"

Confessional Ends:

Carol tentatively walks into a room to see Susan sitting and writing on a notepad. "What are you doing?" She asks.

"Seeing if I can get votes." Was the response.

"Well, I mean you have mine tonight,"

"Are you serious?" The Brainiac asks before her teammate nods.

"I want to try out trusting you, give you another chance."

"Well, that's great to hear!" Susan calls out happily before Carol puts her hand up.

"One sec, I'm guessing you want me to vote Lauren?" Carol asks, to which Susan nods. The superhero sighs before saying, "I don't think she's evil though, I think she must have misunderstood the situation or something."

"Look, I get it Carol, but you're going to have to trust me,"

"But that's the issue, I don't have all that much trust in you. I don't want to vote for you, I don't want to vote for Lauren, who else could be the target?"

"Well, not Jake or Rory… How about Nadia?"

"I… I don't know today, things with her are just… Weird."

"That just leaves Myron then,"

"I'm not close to Myron, I guess I could give a vote for him," Carol admits with a sigh, "how are we going to get a third or fourth vote though?"

"I'm going to need to think about this,"

"Okay," Carol shrugs, "Up to you then, all I need to know is the vote tonight." She then walks away.

"Wait, Carol."

"Nope, you figure it out," Carol then starts to walk out of the room. Susan grumbles in annoyance,

"Seriously?"

"Look, I don't feel like doing too much strategy tonight," Carol admits. "If we're voting Myron that's fine, but I don't want to think about it too much right now."

"Fine, I'll see if I can get some more votes," Carol looks with a sad smile, saying.

"Sorry." Before walking outside. Susan follows her outside.

Confessional:

"Well, time to change my target…" Susan begins with a sigh.

Confessional Ends:

Susan notices Jake and begins to walk over before she pauses, realisation dawning.

Confessional:

"And Myron was one of Jake's don't vote for options… Crap."

Confessional Ends:

"Hey Jake," Susan calls out.

"What?" The leader turns around before Susan looks away.

"You're still voting Lauren right?"

"Yeah, just about to try and get Myron and Nadia."

Susan pauses, before saying, "... Cool."

Confessional:

"If Lauren does have the idol, and that trio's votes are cancelled, then there's only four votes I have to worry about, and I have half of them already. Okay, that's not… Completely terrible."

Confessional Ends:

Jake turns around and enters the room. At the bench he sees Myron sitting annoyed at the seat and Nadia frowning before saying, "There you are."

"Where were you?" Myron asks,

"Figuring out a good way to vote tonight, 'cause I have pretty important info."

"Oh great," Myron groans, "Can we just get the easy elimination out of the way? We'll have three votes out of six in that case."

"Look, don't trust me all you want," Jake begins "but I just want to give info so maybe we can set ourselves up to be stronger,"

"I'm curious to see what you'll come up with to save Susan," Myron admits, "Ask away."

Jake rolls his eyes before beginning his speech, "Okay so listen to me before you say anything. I'm all for voting Susan off when we get the chance… However,"

"There it is," Myron rolls his eyes.

"Come on Myron, let him speak," Nadia grimaces.

"Yeah, I think you'll want to hear this info. One of the times I talked to Susan, she mentioned that Lauren told her she has an idol."

"Wait what!?" Both call out,

"When?" Nadia asks, shocked.

"She told her during the last challenge apparently."

"Why didn't you tell us then?"

"Between everything that happened with Xavier and all that, I was a little distracted. Susan's not an awful target anyways so we could cut her."

Nadia looks at the guys with a glare before saying, "Well, if it's real, we need to flush that idol before it takes one of us out,"

"Or we could distract her and grab it?" Myron argues. "We'd have a shared idol we can use if any of us are at the bottom,"

"That could work," Jake starts, "but honestly, Lauren could do the same to us if she gets someone to help her, and then she has it again,"

"Yeah, overall, it's probably safer just to burn through it if Lauren currently has it." At Nadia's response, Myron groans and says,

"But what if we get everyone to vote for her and she casts a vote for one of us? I get what you're saying, but it's too risky."

"That's the thing though," Jake smiles, "It won't be one of us going."

"Yeah," Nadia joins in, though it's considerably weaker, "Susan's under fire right now, Lauren's probably voting her with Rory and maybe Carol. If we get a majority against Lauren, then she either goes, in which case ah well, she's not a part of the alliance, or she uses it and Susan goes. Add in Rory's vote next time and we have a majority against Carol and whoever survives."

"Okay, so you want me to get Rory's vote against Lauren?" Myron asks.

"Let him vote Susan," Nadia says, rubbing her chin. "Susan's probably gonna vote her so we have four off the bat."

"I'm not sure about this." The nerd frowns.

"Look this is Total Drama, not Total Coasting," Nadia begins, "All the best players of this game took risks that paid off. Would Gwen not do something like this if it meant getting rid of the villain's idol? Especially if she knew she was safe cause Heather had eyes on eliminating Izzy or something?"

"Fine," Myron groans, "I'll… I'll think about it,"

Myron then stands up and walks away.

"He… Doesn't seem convinced," Jake comments.

"Yeah… Hopefully, he'll come around though."

Confessional:

"Is it wrong that I trust Jake?" Nadia questions, "Like, I know I'm giving him a lot of leeway, but the dude rarely lies. He's as clean-cut as it comes and that's a commendable trait. Anyways the main reason I'm kinda down is how the Bob stuff went down. It… Didn't go the way I thought it would. Anger? I can take, but that? That was… Something else."

Confessional Ends:

Myron walks over to Rory, before he asks him, "So, you know the vote?"

"I guess Susan?" he questions, though he sounds slightly nervous.

"Well uh…" Rory looks at him as Myron thinks for a moment. "Yeah… It's her."

"Cool… Thanks," Rory sighs.

"Don't worry dude. She'll be gone soon."

Confessional:

"With me, Lauren, Rory and Carol we'll have the votes to get rid of Susan anyways," Myron smirks. "Sorry Jake and Nadia, but I'm not taking the risk with her."

"Yeah…" Rory mutters, "Voting her… Great…"

Confessional Ends:

Suddenly, Chris calls out over the loudspeaker, "Okay Tigers! It's elimination time! Bring your butts to the campfire pit now!"

Elimination Ceremony 8 (Electric Tigers Elimination 4):

"Well, well, well," Chris starts, walking over to Morgan who is holding the hotdogs, "Seven of you here, six hotdogs, who's gonna take the fireworks next?"

"Well," Jake begins, taking a deep breath, "We're just gonna have to wait and see."

Chris looks around, waiting to see if anyone has anything else to say before saying, "Nothing else?"

"Not really," Lauren shrugs.

"Huh… Alright then," Chris shrugs, "well like I said, six hotdogs, seven campers… One of you taking the Fireworks, but the question is… Who?" Chris pauses, hoping for someone to speak, however, nobody does, causing him to comment, "Tough crowd." Morgan then walks over and hands Chris the votes.

Chris pauses, attempting to let the suspense build even more before saying, "Alright, the votes are… Interesting… The first contestant safe is… Carol."

Carol walks up and grabs her hotdog, a smile on her face.

"Nadia, Jake, you both get hotdogs as well…" As the duo get theirs thrown at them, Chris stops and says, "And that's all the people with no votes against them!" Causing everyone to gasp in surprise.

Confessional:

"Wait this doesn't make sense," Lauren says, "I got votes? Was it Susan? But… The idol stuff. Who else would actively want me booted?"

"Obviously I have votes against me," Susan nods, "But Rory? He's done nothing wrong, why him?"

"Guess I'm a target," Myron questions, "What have I done wrong though?"

"Four people got votes?" Rory asks, "Didn't expect that."

Confessional Ends:

"How did Rory get votes?" Susan asks, genuinely confused.

"Why me?" Lauren also jumps in.

"Not gonna answer either question, but I will say, Rory… You are safe with one vote against you."

Confessional:

"I couldn't bring myself to vote Susan…" Rory admits, frown on his face, "and I didn't want to vote anyone else, so I dropped a vote on myself because I knew I was safe anyways. Thought I'd be bottom three or something though. Not bottom four?"

Confessional Ends:

"Lauren! Myron! Susan! It's down to the bottom three! The next contestant safe is…

.

.

.

None of you!"

"WHAT!?" All three yell. The other four team members also look on shocked.

"It's a 2-2-2-1 vote tonight! Honestly didn't expect that."

"A three-way tie?"

"Yep! We haven't had a three-way tie for most votes ever actually, but for two-way ties, we've done tiebreaker challenges, so let's do that for three as well!" Chris then pauses as he says, "Unless any of you want to play an idol or something,"

Myron shakes his head while Susan says, "Nope."

Lauren pauses before continuing and saying, "No…" Jake takes note of this, eyebrow raised.

The three remaining campers all stand up as Myron grabs Lauren and says, "truce?"

"As long as I'm one of the safe campers," Lauren replies, causing the nerd to nod. Susan, overhearing their chat, shudders.

"In today's tiebreaker challenge, the three of you have to go through this obstacle course." Chris presses a button pulling up three different obstacle courses, with a variety of fire-based obstacles turning on and off. "At the end, you will have to grab a tablet with your face on it, buried in a pile of all eighteen campers and bring it back to the other end! The last one to get their tablet locked in is taking the fireworks outta here!"

The three walk over to the tiebreaker, Susan on the left side, Myron in the middle and Lauren on the right side

"Okay campers! Get ready to start the challenge!" The three prepare to run, "On your marks!" Lauren bends over in a running position, "Get set!" Myron prepares to run ahead, glare on his face while Susan looks ahead determined. "GO!"

The three dash ahead, with Lauren getting an early lead. However, a blast of fire stops her in her tracks, alongside Myron and Susan.

Once it goes down, the three look ahead to see walls moving in to crush, spinning sticks like the ones they used in the duelling challenge and a launcher shooting small rocks towards the trio.

"Don't worry campers," Chris begins, "you won't die from these! You'll just be really hurt."

"Greaaaat," Susan sighs before the fire goes down and she runs ahead, with Lauren quickly overtaking her and Myron at the back.

Lauren runs past a wall that starts to fall, as Susan stops in her tracks. Myron on the other hand didn't slow down in time and gets stuck under the soft wall.

"This hurts… Way less than it should!" Myron calls out, surprised.

"And Myron has been stopped by the first trap! It's still anyone's game though!"

Lauren and Susan then stand in the next trap, as two golf ball shooters come out of the ground and start to shoot rocks at the girls.

"Ow! What the heck?" Questions Susan,

"It's a tiebreaker," Lauren says back, starting to step forward, "What do you expect?" Before getting on another platform with a large pile of tablets on top.

"Lauren's made it to the tablets already! These piles are completely randomized so it's still anyone's loss!"

"That was quick!" Lauren smiles as she grabs one of her tablets near the top.

"Well uh…" Chris stammers, surprised, "She has one!"

Myron then makes his way over to the stones as Susan gets to the pile, starting to rummage through. Lauren turns back around,

"A little help?" Myron asks to which Lauren says back,

"I said as long as I'm safe, I can't just jeopardise my game by staying behind," before running ahead. However, Myron manages to walk through the rocks and get to the platform, locking eyes with Susan before both keep looking.

Susan picks up a tablet with Morgan's face on it and worriedly throws it away. In response, Morgan quickly runs over and says, "HEY! DON'T HURT IT!" He then picks up the tablet and holds it close to his face, saying, "Don't worry, papa's here, she won't hurt you anymore."

Lauren manages to squeeze past the traps on the way back as Susan looks over at her and then focuses back in on the pile, yelling out, "Damn it!" Before sighing. The fangirl then runs over and slots her tablet in, before throwing her arms in celebration,

"YES!"

"Lauren is the next contestant safe!" Chris yells as the Fangirl runs over and grabs her hotdog, though she also stops to think.

Confessional:

"This was eye-opening," Lauren admits, deep in thought. "I'm not untouchable right now. I genuinely thought with all the eyes being on Susan, that I'd at most have like, one vote to four or five for her…" the fangirl stays stuck in thought, before her eyes narrow and she says, "I guess I need to focus on my team more again…"

Confessional Ends:

"Myron! Susan! You are our bottom two!" This causes the two remaining to jump in surprise and speed up their searching. Myron's hand reaches into the pile and grabs out his tablet, causing him to smile before running. "And Myron has his tablet, Susan's going to have to be quick to still have a chance!"

Hearing this, Susan yells out "Crap!" Before speeding up her search even more, throwing tablets for Tegan and Richard behind her before finding one of her own.

Myron stops as a blast of fire goes in front. Susan runs next to him causing both to look at each other. Taking a second to catch their breaths, both then look at the fire as it goes back down, letting them run ahead.

Myron manages to run through the stone shooting part without getting hit while Susan gets pelted, causing her to flinch as she runs, "Ow, ow, ow!"

Getting to the sticks, Susan slides under them as Myron tries to run through, getting smacked in the face and stumbling into the wall. Chris jumps in by saying, "And Myron's had a meeting with the sticks! Will this let Susan pull ahead?" While this happens, Susan also rolls under the 'crushing' wall.

After shaking his head to reorient himself, Myron continues to race, managing to get past the crushing wall as it comes back up, making both contestants stand next to each other.

At the final obstacle, a burst of fire appears in front of Susan as Myron runs up to meet her, with both looking worried at the other's presence. "This is it! The final obstacle! Whoever's faster will get to move on!"

As they pause, Susan frowns, before closing her eyes. After a few deep breaths, Susan steps back, opens her eyes and yells "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Before she jumps through the fire, the tablet clutched to her chest. Landing on the ground, Susan sighs in relief, before looking up and seeing her dress on fire. "AH!" She yells before quickly throwing sand on her skirt to try and put the fire out.

After a few moments, she stands back up with the skirt still on fire as she realises the tablet is still in her hands. Myron manages to squeeze through the fire as this happens before the two approaches where to slot their tablets in. As both get closer, Myron leaps ahead to try and get his in first as Susan makes it over to her slot.

.

.

.

.

.

Myron barely misses the platform as Susan manages to place the tablet in its slot. After it turns green she jumps back on the ground to try and put out the fire, which she manages to do so after a couple of seconds. Myron stands back up with a groan.

"Susan is the final one safe! And that means Myron is our next elimination!"

"COME ON!" Morgan's voice calls out angrily from offscreen.

Susan sighs in relief, taking deep breaths while Myron slouches, defeated

"So I'm… Just out?"

"Yep!" Chris yells.

Susan stands up, walking over and saying, "Look, I'm sorry about you going home," Myron looks at her while slouching, saying.

"Don't… Don't rub it in,"

"I'm not though," Myron sighs at Susan's response going,

"Okay… Sure," before he goes to walk away. Susan then walks away, with Carol following behind her, looking guilty.

"How did he even get the votes?" Nadia questions, confused, "Who even has beef with him?"

"I…" Jake frowns before he realises something. "Don't know," he lies.

"Just… Just get me out of here," Myron sighs, angrily. Chef shrugs and walks with him towards the fireworks.

Lauren leaves as well, saying, "alright, I'm gonna turn in early,"

The scene next cuts to Myron getting tied to the fireworks by Chef. "I'm just sad it had to end like this," he admits… "I mean, I didn't even make the merge." As he says that, Jake, Nadia and Rory walk up to meet him, causing him to smile, "You came to see me off?"

"Yeah bro, sorry you had to go home," Rory sighs. "We thought we'd see you off at least.

"Pretty much," nods Jake, "I did want to go far with you," the nerd looks downward with a frown.

"Sorry about… Not trusting you,"

"It's fine,"

"We'll kick butt for you," Nadia smiles. Myron's frown fades slightly.

"I wouldn't have it any other way at this point." Though his eyes lighten up slightly and he speaks seriously, stating "Good luck… I'll be cheering for you guys."

"Tell Megan I said hi," Rory smiles, Myron smiles back.

"I will…"

"Touching," Chris sarcastically begins, "But now you have to go." Chris then presses the button on the remote and launches the contestant away.

Wait, wait, wait! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Myron screams, flying into the distance.

"Okay Tigers, get back to the hotel… Maybe tomorrow you'll break that losing streak." The Tigers that saw Myron off then turn around before dejectedly walking away. Morgan looks on from a bit away before angrily growling.

Confessional:

"So they think they can just vote him off eh? Well, they have another thing coming! I haven't done much… But you all better prepare for me to come back swinging… This is for you buddy."

Confessional Ends:

Jake stops in his tracks, deep in thought.

Confessional:

The Leader glares at the camera. "Nadia and I voted Lauren and it's pretty easy to assume that Myron and Lauren voted Susan. One of the remaining three voted for Rory, but that leaves three potential votes against Myron… Susan probably wouldn't have voted Rory so that means she's probably one of the Myron voters… This means I need to have a chat with her…"

Confessional Ends:

Entering back into the Spa Hotel, Nadia and Rory immediately walk up the stairs, as Jake looks around. After noticing Susan, he walks over, angrily asking, "What was that?"

"What?"

"Voting Myron off… I told you Myron's off limits."

"Because one, the idol stuff, and two, Carol didn't budge on Lauren. You want me to have friends, well we have to make sacrifices for friends and Myron wasn't going to stop hating me anyways, so at least it wasn't Rory or you."

Jake glares at her before saying, "We're gonna need to have a little chat tomorrow about eliminations from this point onwards."

"Fine by me," Susan rolls her eyes before walking away.

Confessional:

"I genuinely want to help her," Jake sighs, "But considering how she was gung-ho about voting off one of my alliance members, maybe I can't right now. Considering the point of the game I'm in, I have to consider playing harder."

"Aaaaand Jake's annoyed at me now," Susan sighs, "Just… Brilliant. Now I have to calm him down. Add that onto my Empire State Building-sized level of things I still need to do."

Confessional Ends:

The confessional cam zooms out to Chris smiling while holding a tub of popcorn in his hand. "Things are heating up! Now that we're down to eleven people, who is gonna go next? What will Gary do now that his bargaining chip with Bob is off the table? And will someone find the idol? Find some of this out on the next exciting episode of… TOTAL! DRAMA! ELEMENTAL ISLANDS!" Chris smiles before the episode fades to black.

Voting Confessionals:

Carol: The wannabe superhero watches with a small, but melancholic smile, "I still think we can both be friends Myron, and part of me thinks I'm too trusting of Susan. I don't know, I kind of want to see if she's alright… If not I can always just go to Jake and see if I can join whatever alliance he's in… So I guess that means Myron."

Jake: "No hard feelings Lauren, but if we vote for you, it's either an idol flushed, or an easy boot next time."

Lauren: "Bye, bye, Susan," The fangirl leans back with a smile, "Getting to actually vote her for once feels really good."

Myron: The Nerd raises his hands in exasperation, "Susan… Need I say more?"

Nadia: The Hot-Blooded sits back, deep in thought. After a few moments, she starts, "Jake raises a good point. Susan's definitely not getting Rory back, so if we take out Lauren then we either have a flushed idol and Susan's out, or we have a four-person alliance out of six." She pauses again, thinking before she begins to smile. "And hey, maybe Jake and I can get Carol involved if we don't lose again. Boom, that's a five-person alliance going into the merge. Add maybe Bob if he can forgive me and Xavier if they survive and I'm in good standings with almost everyone. Yeah, Lauren's elimination probably makes me safer than Susan's… I vote Lauren."

Rory: "Despite what you did, and despite how I feel about you right now," The jock starts with a frown. "I just can't bring myself to vote you off… However since I don't know who else to vote for, and I know I'm not getting the votes to go home… I put a vote on myself… I mean, she's got enough votes to go right?"

Susan: Susan taps her fingers annoyed before saying, "Myron's my best bet to get Carol with me. Hopefully, we can either have a split vote or someone else votes with us." A few seconds later she sighs, "This better work."

Bonus Clip:

"I'm surprised we all came here… Aside from Hannah at least" Richard says, seeing three other former contestants around him.

"I was curious," Megan shrugs,

"I wasn't, you forced me!" Tegan then yells.

"It's not that bad," Megan says back before Tegan rolls her eyes.

"Whatever…"

Tegan's complaints are interrupted by the rocket landing and the camper connected saying, "AAAAAAHHHHHH!"

"Here's the next loser," drawls Richard, as he, Alfred and Megan turn the corner to see who it is.

"Myron?" Megan questions, genuinely surprised.

"Megan?" Myron asks back,

"Looks like we're both out," the band geek shrugs with a smile, "Ah well,"

"I should have just voted Lauren with Nadia and Jake, sure it wasn't the initial target, but it would have given us the votes in the end,"

"Hey, it's fine," Megan shrugs, "No harm done,"

"But there was!" Myron yells before looking downwards. He gets untied before looking at his friend and saying, "I'm sorry Megan… I didn't win." The nerd sits down in defeat while groaning. "Even though you said to kick butt, mine was the one kicked," Megan simply smiles.

"Look Myron, I don't mind if you don't win, did you really think losing some dumb game's gonna get between our friendship? Besides, we're both fine financially, you know that, I'm not gonna be sad I don't win ano-" she cuts herself off, "a million,"

"Yeah," Myron smiles, before he stands up and both hug.

"That was surprisingly nice," Alfred comments,

"Yes, that was beautiful," Richard quickly says before he steps forward, "Now Myron, do you have anyone you want to win?"

"Rory mainly," Myron comments, "Aside from that? Maybe, Nadia or Carol, both were cool too. Really I'm chill with anyone that isn't Susan winning."

"You need to see the episodes," Megan states, "Things are pretty different here."

"Wait did you just say something before about not being sad to not win a million?" Tegan asks, "I get the whole friends over money thing, but aren't you gonna be a little sad you didn't get the win? Also, what was that you were going to say before you cut yourself off?"

"Uh, would you look at the time?" Megan quickly says, looking concerned, "I'll get those episodes ready, and Myron can have a look at them after the interview thing finishes!" Before speed walking away. Everyone but Myron looks at her confused.

"Well, that was weird,"

"Nothing to worry about!" Myron calls out, distracting everyone, "What other questions do you have?"

"Oh…" Richard shrugs, "Well, aside from what you described earlier, what would be one change you would make to your game?"

"I guess… Honestly, I'd say I would probably try harder to keep Morgan in, somehow, we clicked and became friends and I should have made a better effort to get votes together to save him after the fire duelling challenge," he then realises his implication of what he was saying and says to the camera, "sorry Carol."

"Well, alright, that seems about it," Richard drawls out, "you may go now,"

"Alright, see ya," Myron shrugs before going,

"Okay I've got a question myself," Tegan angrily grumbles to the other two, before she yells, "Why did you even have to bring me here!?"

"Contract," Is all Richard responds with, "But go, it is fine now." As Tegan runs off, Alfred smiles as Richard says, "And so the next boot has arrived, who will join us next? And will everyone turn up to that one too? Find out on the next episode of Total Drama Elemental Islands."

"Yeah, it's weird that almost all of us came here," Alfred admits,

"Indeed," the duo then walk away before the episode fades to black.

[1]: I did a search on Youtube and no channel results came up. If there is a channel named that though, then please don't post references or anything. Well unless I decide to make a channel named that for the funny, that's fine.

Electric Tigers: Carol, Jake, Lauren, Myron (Eliminated), Nadia, Rory, Susan
Frozen Lions: Bob, Gary, Jemma, Katrina, Xavier

It hasn't been that long since the last elimination… Right? Oh… The last elimination was in November? Yikes…

Funny enough, I was about 7K words into this chapter when I posted episode 8. Being a solid chunk into the episode felt nice and while I'm writing this part of the note while still writing the episode, I'm hoping this episode comes out much earlier than the last couple as a result.

Today's challenge needed a lot of planning out to actually execute, specifically the order the secrets were found. I tried to do it without planning the order but that just made things confusing, so eventually, I paused the chapter and figured everything out.

Bob's stuff got changed late in the writing for this chapter. I wasn't liking what I had initially and decided to change it up because it felt better for the character.

And then there's Myron… Who I guess I could do stuff with, but honestly, if he stayed in, it would have changed up too much about the future of the season, so he had to go home. Myron and Megan are almost definitely going to get more stuff to do in the future though, so I hope you look forward to that.

If you want to hear some funny behind-the-scenes info, the Myron and Megan friendship was decided while I was writing the first episode. Actually, it was during Megan's introduction. I wanted to give Myron another interaction and I needed Megan to do stuff so I gave them the friendship. Then things sort of just… Went from there.

And now that Myron's gone, I'll say now that Myron's elimination was the reason episode 8 had to be a non-elimination. I just couldn't justify his elimination being in episode 8 without it being badly written or rushed, and nobody else fit going then, so nobody went home. I mentioned this in the last episode's author's note, but I toyed with the idea of a team swap, but that would have changed too much and so that was abandoned.

The post-elimination kind of got shafted this episode because the chapter was getting long enough as is and I want to avoid too much over 20K. Myron's elimination will have ripple effects I just needed to hold them back until next episode lol.

If I'm being completely honest here, I'm kind of disappointed with episode 8 so hopefully, this is an improvement. It feels like episode 8 spent… Too long in the oven in a way. It felt just… Overdone I guess? Hopefully, episode 9 fixes that a bit though.

Anyways though, I hope you enjoyed the episode! Next episode is gonna be the double digits! And it only took me more than two years to do!
