"Hmm...did I get isekai'd for the second time?"

When she wake up this morning, she realized she was not in her bed. Instead, she wakes up on a plain of grass. She looked around and found nothing familiar about this place. Unfamiliar plain. Unfamiliar mountain.

"Where to go? After all, there is no road, so I can't go along with the road. And since this is a new world, I pretty sure the geography of this new world is definitely different than that of Sorcier." She mused to herself, her hand grasped the green and healthy grass. When she looked around, she see a distant forest out there in distance.

Hmm?! How could she miss that giant-ass tower near that forest!?

Are her eyes finally gone bad from eating too many sweets? Well, whatever! If there are building, then there must be people too!

Still, she is not sure about what sort of human or creature lived in this world, so she chooses to go to the tower as soon as possible. Based on the sun directly above her and the times she uses to muse about her unfortunate second isekai, it's noon. And she realized she was on the grass plain, without any shade...it's freaking hot!

She quickly makes a beeline toward the nearest shade she could see, which is the forest.

When she was near enough, she could tell something is quite wrong with this forest. It's like...the forest is alive. It is not in a metaphorical way or figuratively. She meant it literally. She could feel it. Since she is a Dark Magic-user, she also could perceive traces or mana of Dark Magic, just like Light Magic-user, and vice versa. The only difference is while the Light Magic-user will feel uneasy or even sick if they see or are in close distance with the source of the Dark magic, she is never affected by it. In fact, the magic feels welcoming, to her at least. That is why when Rafael is controlled by his own negative emotion and Dark magic, she can easily confront him, while the others feel weak or terrified of him because of his negative aura and emotion. It's all because she also a Dark Magic-user

This forest...instead of a singular spot, she could feel the mana encompass the portion her mana detection distance could cover. Probably...the whole forest IS the source of this dark mana.

But instead of the malicious and cold anger she could usually feel when near another Dark magic user or source, alongside the welcoming feeling only fellow Dark magic user could feel, this forest's mana traces feel more.. ancient for lack of a better word. She can feel the bottled-up bitterness and anger, and the forest directed that at everything, with no discrimination. That of course, including her. But she was able to shake it off. She quietly walked toward the forest.

When she is near the forest, she can feel someone or something is observing her. She comes to a halt, and with a few more steps, she can make it to the forest and subsequently, the shade from searing Sun above. The unseen eyes are feeling her up, probably (hopefully) trying to ascertain whether she is dangerous or not.

"Ahem. I don't know if the language I spoke could be understood or not. But, know this, I came here just to have protection against the searing light. I'm not dangerous." She spoke, flaring her own dark mana in a comforting sense while she talked. She feels quite ridiculous, speaking with the trees. She still could feel the anger and bitter disappointment from the forest.

But, she could pick up the surprised and confused feeling that came from the forest when she has done flaring her own mana. Then, the oppressive feeling of anger and bitterness, little by little, until the only thing she could pick up is wary acceptance.

"Thank you for allowing me to dwell on your shade." She flared her own mana again, but instead of the dark mana, she uses her earth one. This time, the forest now clearly feels more... welcoming?

She step into the shade of the tree and sighed contently. All hail the darkness! Praising the Sun is for mad man!

She can feel the restless feeling from her shadow. "Pochi! You can out if you want." The dark familiar in form of a puppy appeared from her shadow.

"You don't need to hide in my shadow for now," The main reason she told Pochi that is because she is quite lonely. Never once did she see a glimpse of an animal or and living being aside of the trees. So, she told him to just play around the area she currently resting on.

"Oh yeah, one more thing, if you find any fruit or vegetable, come back okay?" She told Pochi. The puppy nodded and walk away.

She laid her back against the large and twisted tree root. She can feel her eyes getting quite heavy. Probably from all that walking, she mused. Not before long, she could hear a faint humming. A humming that is not from animal or human.

"Thanks for the humming." That is all she said before she fall into the land of dream.
