Her mind and body are in autopilot mode today. She didn't know about what events led her to this very moment.
She is currently clad in a very beautiful white dress, made with the finest fabric and fiber from Aman. Weaved by Vairë the Weaver, and adorned with tiny gem and flower from Varda Elentári and Yavanna Kementári respectively.
The one in front of her is clad in very ornate armor made from priceless materials such as mithril, platinum, gold, and silver. Crafted and gifted to man in front of her by Aulë the Smith himself.
"Frodo Baggins, bring forth the One Ring." The Lady of Lothlórien, and someone who's like her second mother in this world, Lady Galadriel spoke.
Frodo Baggins, the 5th bearer of the One Ring and the nephew/adopted heir of Riddle-Maker, Belladonna Baggins the 2nd, came forth alongside her familiar of Darkness, Pochi. The One Ring, now no longer needed to be feared, is in his hand. Stopping in front of her soon-to-be husband, he handed the gold band that once caused fear to Elves, Dwarf, and Men alike to him.
Accepting the plain gold ring, her soon-to-be husband uttered thanks in a small voice. Pochi, sensing he would not be spoiled at the moment, choose to dwell back inside her shadow.
Turning his attention back to her, she slowly raised her right hand. He takes her gently, and he slowly puts the ring onto her right hand's ring finger. Instead of turning invisible as the ring did for their previous bearer aside from its crafter, the moment he put the ring on her finger, she can feel his strong love and conviction for her.
"Now, I pronounced you two a husband and a wife. You may kiss your bride." Said Lord Elrond, the elf-lord of Imladris.
Her kiss with Mairon, formerly known as Sauron the Deceiver, was brief but chaste.
The audience, from Aragorn, the heir of Isildur and future king of Gondor, to Glorfindel, the Balrog-slayer, and even Dain Ironfoot, the King of Erebor, clapped their hand at the union between the recently made immortal from another world and the now redeemed, uncorrupted Maiar once more.
So many extraordinary peoples attended this union. Uncle Treebeard is the first one to find her in this world. The Nazgul, now back to their human form. Thranduil, the King of Greenwood. Tom Bombadil and his wife, Goldberry. Beorn. The Great Eagle Lord, Gwaihir. All came to this union.
She will repeat this one more time, how this could happen?!
(Not that she doesn't like it, mind you. She loves Mairon with all of her beings, even before he is given back his true form by Eru Ilúvatar himself. His true form is even more beautiful and handsome than Nicol, Jeord, Alan, and Keith combined. She just wondering how the event of her getting lost on Greenwood, formerly Mirkwood, caused her to be married to now-former Dark Lord in the future.)
author note:
I originally intended for Katarina that her;
1) to be apprenticed to Saruman and preventing Sauron's corruption on Saruman.
2) taming Smaug. Pochi can turn into other animals.
3) or she could live together with Bilbo and Frodo. When the War of the Ring happened, Frodo, Sam, and Katarina is the ones who bring the ring to Mount Doom. Ah yes, the Ring couldn't corrupt her. I mean, she is Dark Magic-user, how can she be corrupted any further?
4) or she would be taken either by Yavanna or Mandos and changed into something akin to Maia/Istari. I want to give her a Quenya name, but I'm not fluent/knowledgeable enough. So her name will be Katar the Brown/Green or Ina the Black, depending on who's taken her.
5) She got yeeted back in time. Idk what time, but probably sometime around Year of The Tree or Lamp. Or probably before the first Men of Middle-earth awakened, making her first one instead.
6) Got yeeted back in time and age, and promptly be adopted by Melkor or Ungoliant. How and why? Idk.
Though one thing Katarina will have in common with all of the ideas mentioned above is she will either be immortal or have a very, very long life. She also will be able to change the shape of Pochi to other animals or tools.
