Author's Note: Pretty sure we all know what sort of chapter this is going to be. ;) I think they've earned it, don't you?
Chapter 15: Bliss
They arrived in Hogsmeade just as the sun was going down, and Ginny thought that may have had something to do with their reaction to the house Harry had secured for them. It was gorgeous. It was out past the Three Broomsticks and fairly secluded, complete with a thatched roof and a bright, red door that looked very welcoming. The stone path up to the door was spotted with flowers and fragrant-smelling bushes. There was a large, very grand-looking weeping willow in the front yard. Its long, trailing vines just screaming to be hung off of – indeed, it reminded Ginny of a tree they'd had at the Burrow when she was a child. A part of her itched to throw the bags she was carrying to the ground and take off and try it. Brogan nudged her with a smile on his face when she continued to stand there and marvel at it.
The inside of the house was just as welcoming, and while Ginny was worried about how much this was going to set them back, another part of her felt thrilled. There was a large fireplace that doubled as floo – one side was for fire the other for travel. On either side of the large sitting room, there were two grand bedrooms. Both had huge canopy-style beds, complete with large, front-facing windows that she knew would fill the rooms with wonderful light in the morning. The kitchen was large as well, with two long rows of counter space and an adorable table nook where they could eat.
As she moved back into the sitting area, Harry was just releasing Roisin from her carrier and Brogan was carrying Hedwig's empty cage back from outside. Apparently, the owl had needed to stretch her wings. Ginny figured that at least Hedwig would recognize her old haunts near the school and the Forbidden Forest.
She dropped off the bags she'd been carrying and quickly moved to Harry, wrapping her arms around him.
"This is wonderful," she said, kissing him lightly. He smiled at her as Roisin moved in between their legs and then trotted off to explore. Ginny had noticed the back door in the kitchen had a little door for pets and knew the half-kneazle would probably have an eventful night of exploring the back garden.
"The rental agency assured me it was, I reckon they work for that commission. Or, they were just really happy to have me spend more money since I bought the land for the house from them too. I think I'm their favorite customer at the moment."
"Um, I know I wasn't around for the house talk," Brogan said, plopping down on one of the comfortable sofas. "But I'd really like to contribute some money towards all of this. I have a fair bit saved. My Mum's money became mine when I turned 22, and I've hardly touched it. Plus, I can always hit Solace up for some, if we get desperate."
They joined him on the sofa and Harry took both of their hands. "I appreciate that. Ginny's constantly fretting about me actually making a dent on the Potter funds."
"Hey, I just don't think you realize how expensive building a house will be, Harry! I'm just being frugal. It's a Weasley thing."
"But anyway," Harry said, ignoring her. "We'll talk about it in the morning, yeah? I'm tired. All I want to do now is get into what I hope is one of those very comfortable beds."
"That's what I love about him," Brogan said, looking at Ginny. "Always has getting us horizontal on his mind."
Ginny giggled. "I think he just wants us both to get naked."
Harry snorted as he struck a pose. "As if the two of you don't want the same. I know how you both lust after my body."
Ginny grinned. She was fairly impressed with them – almost two whole days back together and no one had done more than kiss. She had a feeling that was going to change tonight though, judging by the excitement on both of her men's faces.
"Not to be a killjoy, but shouldn't we contact people and let them know we're in England?" Brogan asked as they stood up. They all decided on the bedroom on the right since it was closer to the loo.
Harry frowned. "Yeah, I reckon, but in the morning, please. I mean, unless, I didn't even think, Brogan. Do you want to contact Solace? He's been very patient, I have to admit, but as soon as he finds out you have your memory back, he'll demand to see you."
Brogan paused, considering it. He eventually shook his head. "No, he can wait. I can take his wrath."
"He'll be very happy, I think," Ginny said. "I mean, he didn't want to believe we could do it, but I think, secretly underneath it all, he was hopeful. Keeping him away when you couldn't remember him was the toughest part. But somehow, Avery managed it."
"I owe her," Brogan mused as they started unpacking, using their wands. "Probably more than I can repay. The me that couldn't remember would not have handled him very well. As I'm sure you guys noticed, I didn't have even a touch of my usual mellow and diplomatic demeanor."
Harry and Ginny didn't say anything and Brogan gave a short, self-deprecating laugh. "Very telling, you two. Thanks."
"Do you think I can shower first?" Ginny asked as she stuffed the last of her clothes into the set of drawers the bedroom had. She'd organize it later.
"Want us to join you?" Harry leered and waggled his eyebrows at her. Ginny laughed and pushed him away.
"It'll be quicker if I do it alone and you know it."
"True, and if we go with you, you might not actually clean much."
Ginny rolled her eyes and pointed at the bed. "Just get comfortable and don't start without me."
The men glanced at each other, and Ginny folded her arms. "I mean it. Read or something."
Brogan nodded at her, but his face had gone pink and Harry avoided her eyes. She sighed and muttered the words "randy buggers" under her breath. She grabbed a dressing gown, her bag of toiletries, and a tie for her hair, determined to be back before they managed to get their pants off.
But once the hot water hit her skin, Ginny sort of forgot her urgency and just enjoyed it. She felt as though she was not only washing away the grime of the day but also of the last few weeks. Having Brogan back was everything – and she felt as though the extra seriousness and tense feelings she'd been carrying around were finally disappearing. She'd felt so guilty – about so many things – that it felt nice to just…exist. To laugh and be happy. And finally, to just know he was safe, fairly healthy, and he remembered them! It all brought a smile to her face that she knew had been missing.
No, Harry and Ginny did not need Brogan to have a full life – she thought they'd proved that rather well — but when he was with them, everything just felt that much more brilliant. They all knew each other so well and there was beauty and freedom in that. A part of her couldn't wait for what the future would bring for the three of them and their lives together. Which, unfortunately, reminded her of her parents. Ginny frowned as she rinsed her soap off. Now since they were back home and Brogan was almost whole again, she knew she had a difficult discussion in her immediate future. She wondered what Arthur and Molly Weasley were going to say when she told them their daughter was in love with two men at the same time.
She knew she could just keep pretending, and she also knew that Brogan would never push her to tell them. But, the truth of the matter was, practically everyone she loved knew except them and it didn't feel right anymore to keep it a secret. She'd been telling herself for months now that she wasn't ashamed of her feelings. Now was the time that she needed to not only talk the talk but walk the walk as well. If her parents reacted badly, (and she had a feeling they might), then she would have to deal with it. She was of age, was she not? And being of age meant acting like an adult. Which reminded her of the men in the bedroom, who were probably getting up to who knew what and she quickly finished her shower.
Except when she pushed open the door to the bedroom she was met with the sweetest scene she could ever remember seeing – Harry was on the bed, propped up against the headboard and Brogan was laying across the other direction, his head in Harry's lap as Harry tenderly massaged his scalp. Harry put his finger to his lips to indicate for her not to speak, and Ginny realized Brogan had fallen asleep. Well, so much for their adult night of fun. She smirked and tilted her head towards the door. Harry nodded and slowly extricated himself, trying not to disturb him. Brogan made a half-moan sort of noise and then was still, curling on his side.
"He fell asleep," Harry said as he closed the bedroom door softly behind him.
"I see that. Putting that sparkling personality of yours to the test, eh?"
Harry rolled his eyes. "Hah. You took too long in the shower."
"I did not. Well, did you want to sleep in the other bedroom?"
Harry looked thoughtful for a moment. "Nah, I don't want to not be there when he…well, it's silly, really."
Ginny understood. He didn't want Brogan to wonder where they were or feel bad for falling asleep on them. Perhaps she should have taken a cold shower. Oh well, wouldn't be the first time she'd gone without. And even though a part of her wanted to convince Harry the two of them could do something, she realized she was okay with waiting this one time. It was a special occasion, after all.
They eased back into the bedroom and Harry made the room dark as he slipped out of his clothes. Ginny shifted Brogan gently so that he was laying the right way and then settled down next to him. She wrapped her arms around him and then held out her hand towards Harry. He gazed at her over Brogan's shoulder, eyes apologetic. She smiled to let him know it was okay and they both sighed as they settled into the bed.
It took Ginny a long time to fall asleep, her body had been so ready for…something other than sleeping. But eventually, she slipped away and she dreamed -mostly of storms and then of her parents, telling her how disappointed they were in her.
o-o-o-o-o
Brogan woke up in a blissful state – Harry on one side and Ginny on the other. He smiled and then frowned when he realized he'd fallen asleep last night before they could do anything. He wasn't necessarily in a dire rush to get the physical aspect of their relationship back on, but he was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with his post-remembering libido.
One look at Harry, half-naked next to him, and Brogan suddenly knew there was nothing wrong with his body as it responded at what it was seeing. He looked at Ginny and felt the same urge and released a low breath. Well, that was one less thing to worry about then. He smiled as he thought about waking the couple up.
He turned on his side and reached around to untie Ginny's dressing gown. She still smelled of her shower – clean and flowery. He nuzzled her neck and planted a small kiss there as his hand snaked under her gown. She moaned softly and turned more towards him. Brogan drank in her body, feeling as though it had been far, far too long since he'd had the privilege. He'd never mention this to her, but she had put on a wee bit of weight and her body was fuller in places, mostly around her breasts and hips and it was dead sexy to him. Her curves and softness always excited him.
As though sensing what was going on, Harry shifted behind him and then curled himself around Brogan, sighing sleepily. Brogan grinned and turned over, running his hand through the other man's hair. Harry blinked at him, slowly waking up. Brogan lowered his other hand to convince him that being awake was the best idea. Harry's eyes focused sharply after a moment and his face colored.
"Morning," Brogan said, continuing what he was doing. "Thanks for letting me sleep. Reckon I needed it."
Harry licked his lips, his eyes fully dilated now, and nodded. "Uh-huh," he mumbled incoherently. Brogan leaned forward and kissed him heatedly. After a brief pause, Harry moaned and then was pulling Brogan closer, pushing his body against his. Somehow they moved and shifted until Harry was on top of him and it was everything Brogan had been missing without realizing it.
"Well, this is a very welcome sight to see," Ginny said and both men broke apart, turning to look at her. She had a smirk on her face. "Oh, don't stop on my account." She fluffed her hair out behind her and slowly lowered her dressing gown, her freckles appearing like a teasing wink. Brogan had forgotten how truly lovely Ginny was, and wasn't he an idiot?
"Fuck," Brogan said aloud without realizing, and Harry chuckled in his ear. The other man shifted, leaning into him, his desire evident and Brogan felt dazed again. They were both too much. But bloody hell if he didn't want them both. Always.
Ginny leaned over and kissed Harry, pulling tightly on his hair. They broke apart and gazed down at him and Brogan felt his emotions crest inside of him – Gods, he'd missed them. He'd missed this.
"What do you want?" Ginny asked, touching him.
"Everything," Brogan breathed out. "Make me yours again." They exchanged looks before smiling at him. Ginny leaned down and kissed him, promising so much.
Harry shifted downward as Ginny kissed him and when he felt the other man's hand slip between the cotton flap of his pajamas to stroke him, he moaned into Ginny's mouth. Brogan moved his hand to the back of her head, letting his fingers get lost in her soft, beautiful hair. Her brown eyes sparkled at him when she pulled away and they both turned to watch Harry.
"I think he needs assistance," Ginny said coyly, and she winked at him. She kissed him once more, and then joined Harry. Ginny pulled his pajama bottoms down as Harry moved out of the way for her, momentarily releasing his grip. Brogan sat up on the back of his hands, watching them. They kissed over him and then they both started stroking him, together, and Brogan knew he was already done for. Ginny whispered something in Harry's ear and the other man nodded. He released him and then lowered his mouth down as Ginny took over with her hand. The couple worked together, first hand, then mouth, and as he'd known he would, Brogan was panting their names far too soon. His release was quick, but oh so good, and he moaned wantonly, feeling as though everything had just clicked into place. Memories of being loved by them bloomed in his mind and he wondered how he had ever managed to exist without it.
Harry slid up his body and grinned down at him, his green eyes bright. "Turn over onto your stomach," Harry said, almost achingly shy, and Brogan nodded, not even hesitating. Ginny kissed her way down his back, her hands caressing him. Harry disappeared for a moment but then Brogan saw him and reached for him. He stroked the other man and gazed up at him lovingly. Harry soon grunted from the attention, and Ginny sat up, bringing his head down to hers, kissing him. Harry pulled away from Brogan and nodded at Ginny. She grinned at Brogan and then climbed up alongside him and then moved until she was in front of him, her back against the headboard. Brogan could smell the sweet scent of her arousal and swore as she opened her legs for him and he knew what she wanted.
Harry started kissing his way down Brogan's back but Brogan was already lost in the heady sensation of loving Ginny. She was so wet, so lovely and so there for him. When he felt the brief flare of magic over him and then Harry's tongue he shuddered in response but continued licking Ginny. She was making the most amazing sounds – had they always been this good together? Brogan honestly couldn't say. Ginny tasted like honey to him and he reached out to hold her in place as she started to writhe, the headboard making loud smacking noises against the wall as she moved. He moaned against her sex as Harry cast the lubrication spell, and he felt the other man's fingers slowly start to inch their way in. They were one continuous motion of pushing and pulling and mouths and hot breaths, all burning to the touch of skin on skin. Ginny gripped his head in between her legs, saying his name in the sexiest, most lustful way possible, and Brogan felt his hardness return.
He suddenly felt the weight of Harry behind him, his fingers having long since done their job and Brogan wanted, no, needed the other man. He pulled away from Ginny to look over his shoulder and saw the question on Harry's face. He'd forgotten how mindful Harry could be, how concerned for him. Brogan met his eyes and nodded, widening his legs slightly. Harry touched him tenderly, his expression full of love as he settled into position. When Harry pushed in, Brogan saw stars as he closed his eyes and he held his breath as their bodies connected. Ginny leaned forward and he knew they were kissing above him. He turned back to her body and roughly gripped her, letting his tongue explore once more. She said his name, and then Harry did as well and the other man started moving, joining hands with Ginny above him. Brogan knew nothing but the pleasure and joy of being made theirs again.
He thought Ginny came first – she was even wetter than before and as he knew she had the best vantage point to watch them, he figured that had spurred her on a great deal. She moaned as Harry pushed harder and faster, wickedly touching her breasts as she watched them. Brogan stretched out, offering his body to Harry – the other man could take him – have him – anyway he wanted. Ginny moved and she was soon wrapping herself around Harry, kissing him and urging him on. Brogan shuddered as her naughty, wonderfully dirty words filled the room. He didn't know how Harry could stand it and almost laughed a moment later when he felt the other man jerk erratically inside him, indicating that he was also just as turned on. Harry was close, and when Brogan clenched his body around the other man, Harry swore, suddenly pumping into him with boneless finesse. Brogan grunted in response, his body practically singing in response. Oh, he felt loved.
Harry slumped over him, muttering his name. Brogan turned and looked at him and then at Ginny.
"I love you two," he said, meaning it with every fiber of his being.
"We love you," Ginny said, reaching for him. Harry mumbled something against his back which caused him and Ginny to grin stupidly.
Brogan was glad to be home. Because to him, home was wherever Harry and Ginny were. And he would never forget it again.
o-o-o-o-o
Harry had known it would be like this once they started physically loving each other again – all time had seemed to stop and it was fantastic, but he also wished they had planned better. Mostly because he was getting hungry and none of them wanted to go get food. Not if it meant moving and/or putting clothes on. Being naked was a much more agreeable state of being. At least, Harry thought so.
But still, even without any food, he couldn't feel too bad about his current state of being. Ginny was still on top of him, her hair (and the rest of her) a sweaty mess, and Brogan was behind her, holding her in place. And he felt entirely sore and mildly depraved and yet utterly and completely loved. He had missed the way they knew how to love each other.
Ginny finally moved, moaning a bit as she did so, her bones cracking from the movement and changing positions. She smiled happily at him and then turned to look at Brogan, who kissed her gently. By silent agreement they all agreed to curl around each other, touching with body parts overlapping until Harry was unsure of who was where. He had just decided to drift off for a nice little kip when Ginny mumbled something about food.
"I knew you'd be the first to mention our lack of eating," Harry said, and Brogan laughed somewhere to the left of him. The other man was soon resting his head on Harry's arm, looking adorably shagged out.
"I could go," he offered.
"How can you even stand?" Ginny said, pushing her hair out of her face. "My entire lower half is numb. I don't trust my legs not to go out from under me."
"Well, you were in the receiving position this time," Harry said, smirking. Ginny shushed him as she turned towards their lover.
"Brogan, as you know, I already care for you deeply and sincerely, but if you go and get food, I will, quite frankly, love you forever and a day."
"Really? Just for some nibbles?"
Ginny nodded as she burrowed against Harry's side, burying her head into his arm. Harry smirked at Brogan.
"You sure you don't want company?" he asked the other man as he got off the bed, grabbing some clothes. Brogan shrugged.
"I'm fine going by myself, but if you want to join me, I will never say no to that."
"Just shut it, the both of you," Ginny murmured. "Some of us need to sleep now. Sleep now, but eat soon. Soon, Harry."
Harry kissed the top of her head and grinned at the other man. He sat up and stretched, embarrassed when his body made the same sort of popping noises Ginny's had. They needed to start exercising. Or something. He let his eyes linger on Brogan's backside and decided that he had better ways of getting his heart to race. Brogan threw a pair of trousers at him, smiling as if he'd understood the nature of his thoughts.
It was a beautiful day, Harry was pleased to see. Suddenly overwhelmed with an intense bout of utter joy, he grabbed Brogan as they walked into town and held him close, kissing him. Brogan pulled away eventually, looking rather dazed.
"What was that for?"
"Nothing. It was just because I could." Harry held his hand and felt rather bold as they started walking. Brogan raised an eyebrow at him.
"You want to march down the high street of Hogsmeade with me as your trophy, eh?"
Harry grinned. "Is that wrong?"
"No, but let's not shock the locals just yet. They probably don't even realize they have a celebrity in their midsts."
"Bah, bollocks to that rubbish. I'm just me."
"I know, I was talking about myself. I'm the Man From The Other Dimension, remember?"
Harry snorted. They eventually drifted apart as they got closer to town and Harry felt silly. Perhaps Brogan had a point. He reckoned someone could see them and say something to someone and then he'd have another round of newspaper articles about his outrageous life to line Hedwig's cage with.
Instead of grocery shopping, figuring it would take too much time, they ordered a very large lunch at the Three Broomsticks, with Madam Rosemerta welcoming them herself. Harry ordered double everything because he didn't want to have to leave for dinner later. He also ordered a case of Butterbeer, feeling as though it had been forever since they'd had any, and that Ginny would be doubly pleased. Brogan didn't even raise an eyebrow at the order, he noticed. Brogan had a few cups of coffee as they waited for their food and Harry made a mental note to check and see if the rental had a french press they could use. As they carried the food out in front of them with their wands, they made their way back home.
"It is lovely, isn't it?" Harry asked as it came into view. "I feel like we lucked out for a rental." Brogan nodded.
"Aye. And don't ignore my offer about helping to pay for part of it, either. Distracting me with sex will only get you so far, Harry Potter."
Harry laughed as they arrived back home and carried everything into the kitchen. He nodded at Brogan. "I'll start setting up, you go and wake up sleeping beauty."
"Thanks," Brogan deadpanned and left, as Roisin meowed at him. Harry hadn't noticed her sitting by the back door. He went to her and swooped her up into his arms. The kitten purred rather loudly and he nuzzled her as he found some food for her in one of the bags they'd left unpacked.
"Didn't find much to hunt last night, eh, little one?" Harry asked as he petted her. She yawned and then mewled, wanting to be put down. She made a beeline for the food dish and Harry smiled. Turning to their food, he shrugged and waved his wand at the containers and set the table accordingly. He looked out the kitchen window, wondering where Hedwig was. But, Harry realized he didn't have to worry about the owl, she definitely knew the area.
Brogan soon returned with a sleepy Ginny, who brightened as soon as she saw the table.
"Brilliant!" she exclaimed as Brogan opened up one of the butterbeers, handing it to her.
They both watched her take a long, yet somehow still sensual drink, and Harry whispered to the other man. "How did you know she has a thing for butterbeer?"
Brogan's lips twitched in amusement. "I have my ways. Wow, she does get enthusiastic about it, doesn't she?"
Ginny finally stopped and pulled the bottle away from her mouth. She eyed them. "Whatever you two are innuendo-ing about over there can just remain unsaid. Now, let's eat. I'm famished."
They all tucked in and for the first five minutes, all anyone did was moan with contentment. Harry was glad he'd got the roast beef, it was absolutely heavenly. And since it was the first thing he'd eaten since dinner the other night a the Abbey with Garrett and Mr Cosgrove, it was remarkably satisfying too.
"We definitely need to get food in the house," Ginny said after she'd helped herself to the sticky toffee Brogan had ordered. Harry helped himself to a slice and nodded.
"Yeah, but not until tomorrow. After St Mungo's. And then buying Brogan's new wand. And then the clothes shopping. And, oi, that seems like a lot of shopping. Couldn't we just order out again?"
Ginny and Brogan exchanged amused glances. Ginny patted his hand. "I'll do it the first time, love. We should make a schedule though so one doesn't feel…pressured to keep doing everything."
Harry stared at her. "Okay, when did you turn into Hermione? And let me go on record and say I am not okay with us shagging now."
Brogan laughed. "I am sure she can change that."
Ginny rolled her eyes. "We need to be practical, that's all. Brogan and I can cook - you can help out with the shopping and the overall cleaning. We'll be organized in no time. Although do make sure you do the laundry promptly this time, love."
"Ugh, I'm tired. And too full to talk about chores. Must go lay down," Harry said, getting up. Harry heard the muffled sound of Ginny saying 'honestly!' as he shut the door to the bedroom. Harry eyed the messy bed and thought Ginny might have a point. He looked around for a clean pair of sheets and finally found a set in a sideboard next to the wardrobe. Harry gathered up the dirty ones and their clothes from yesterday. He was just putting them in the washer in the laundry room when Ginny found him. She folded her arms and waited for him to finish, leaning against the doorway.
"I know I said we should be organized in no time, Harry, but this is a bit soon."
He grinned at her. "I didn't want you to start nagging."
"I wasn't nagging!"
"Gin, I'm kidding. I know you weren't. But you had a point. You're right. If we're all going to live together here, we need to be on top of things."
"Hmm, watching you be all homely has definitely made me want to be on top of some things," Ginny purred. She came to him and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm sorry if I sounded bossy."
Harry shrugged. "You weren't. Er, well, not much. But as I said, you had a point."
Brogan was just finishing the bed, doing it the Muggle-way, when they returned to the bedroom. He smirked at them.
"You two sort out our domestics?"
"He's said he's doing everything. He'll be our very own house-elf."
Harry snorted. "Yeah. No, I didn't. Thanks for making the bed, Brogan."
"My pleasure."
They all settled on the newly made bed and looked at each other.
"Well, now what?" Ginny asked, looking amused.
"We mess up the sheets again?" Harry asked, hopeful.
Ginny shook her head. "Our first day back in England and all you want to do is shag. What about Ron and Hermione or Remus and Tonks or my parents? Or even Solace and Avery? Don't we owe them at least a floo call?"
Harry leaned back and kissed her, shifting so that she was soon in his lap. She was a bit breathless when he finally pulled his mouth away. He turned and winked at Brogan.
"Hmm, you make a strong argument, Harry," Ginny said, slipping her hand under his shirt.
"I didn't hear him say a thing," Brogan murmured stretching across Harry to rest his hand on Ginny's leg.
"He clearly said 'let's shag and sod all of them,'" Ginny giggled.
Harry nodded. "I did, actually. I'm very succinct and poetic like that."
"Erm, not to bring a note of seriousness into it, but you two are still on the Contraceptive potion, right?" Brogan asked. Harry realized he'd forgotten about that completely, but Ginny nodded.
"Yes, and we'll have to get you back on it, too. We can get some ingredients in town or when we go to London."
"I still have some of the ingredients for brewing it, if you want to start later today," Harry offered. "But until then…constant vigilance, yeah?"
Harry smirked and then cast the charm over Brogan, which he assumed would have to do the trick for now. They started kissing each other then, and soon Harry found himself being pushed down on the bed as Brogan and Ginny kissed above him. He smiled as he watched them – they were so sexy together and when Ginny reached down, she gave him a knowing smile when she found him already hard. They quickly undressed him and then each other, and Harry stroked Brogan and ran a hand down Ginny's stomach, causing her to flex and then gasp as he accidentally hit her ticklish spot. He felt as though he truly had the best of both worlds in front of him. Ginny hummed as he began to finger her and Brogan moved his mouth down towards her breasts. She grunted as Harry added another finger and started rubbing her clit and he marveled at how wet she already was.
He watched as Brogan sucked each breast into his mouth, licking slowly around each nipple, lavishing her with attention. Ginny moaned and started moving over Harry's hand in earnest, her need quickly overcoming her. Harry curled his finger inside her and watched her let go – her body was flushing bright pink and she was clutching at the back of Brogan's head, her body tense and ready. Harry leaned forward, and while keeping his finger inside her he lowered his face into position and breathed in the earthy aroma of her sex. She shuddered above him as he kissed her, placing his mouth where he knew she needed it. She rode his face, moaning and swearing until he felt her let go, her body almost pure liquid beneath his tongue.
Brogan caught her as she swooned and he winked down at Harry as he lowered her down to the bed. Ginny arched and pulled at the other man, her legs opening wider for him, calling to him. Harry watched and took himself in hand as Brogan slowly entered her. He sat up when he was hard enough and moved behind them. He lowered his mouth to Brogan's shoulder and nipped at him playfully. Ginny moaned underneath them, feeling their desire for her and each other through the link. Harry cast the cleansing and lubrication spells and slowly entered a finger into her arse to give her that full feeling she craved. Brogan moved deeper into her with concentrated effort. Her legs wrapped around him in response and Harry grinned at how she looked – half-feral and needy, her hair a red, wild mess as she watched them. She met his gaze and nodded, and Harry used another finger to stretch her a bit wider and she moaned in approval.
He eventually removed his fingers, causing Ginny to murmur with need. Harry suddenly wanted to be under her, holding her as Brogan thrust into her. He touched Brogan on the arm and kissed him, causing them to slow their movements. Harry glanced down at Ginny, smiling.
"Position change?"
She nodded, and Brogan pulled out, but not before capturing her lips in a kiss. Ginny sighed happily and ran her hands through his hair. Harry lay down on the bed and then nodded at Ginny to climb on top of him. She sat up and lay on her back as she shifted into Harry's arms. Harry kissed her neck and moved her hair out the way and ran his hands down her body, cupping her breasts. Ginny widened her legs and they both looked at Brogan who shook his head at them as he moved back into position, his eyes full of amusement.
As Brogan and Ginny joined again, Harry held her, whispering in her ear, and kissing her any place he could reach. He teased her nipples with his thumbs and she moaned wantonly. Brogan moved his hips and gripped her legs as he shifted forward, and Harry met his eyes over Ginny's shoulder. The other man swore and thrust even harder as though seeing Harry watch him had turned something on inside him. Ginny was soon at her edge, and Harry merely kept her in place, one hand on her breast and one hand smoothing down the flat lines of her stomach towards her hip. She started shaking, calling both of their names and he knew she was close. He could feel each thrust, and on impulse he reached out to take Brogan's hand, connecting the three of them.
The reaction between them was immediate, and Ginny swore as he had never heard her before and goose pimples broke out across his skin in reaction to her dirty mouth. One look at Brogan and he could see the other man was just…gone into the pleasure of it all. Harry shifted underneath them, causing friction between his erection against the small of her back and it was almost enough to make him explode himself. Oh, God, this was what they had been missing, Harry thought. Their connection was everything, and he could feel how much they loved one another. It was dizzying. And it was so fantastic…
Harry held onto both of them as they traveled faster and faster towards release. Ginny cried out as she came suddenly, her body arching and thrashing over his.
"Oh, fuck that feels good, when she comes like that," Brogan mumbled, almost reluctantly stilling his movements. Harry had to agree, holding Ginny while she came apart was truly a gift. Brogan pitched forward, moving in a bit more into her and she hummed loudly in response. She reached up and kissed him and they both looked at Harry.
"You still want more?" Harry asked Ginny and she nodded, a hungry look in her eye that he knew well.
Harry grinned at Brogan. "Well, it's a dirty job, but…."
The other man chuckled and kissed him. They both kissed Ginny as she turned in Harry's arms and then sat up. She rested her hand on Harry's chest.
"I want you to fuck me now," Ginny said voice low and full of desire. Brogan pulled away and sat down next to them to watch.
"I want you deep, Commander Potter," she then ordered in a no-nonsense sort of voice, but her eyes were full of mischief. Harry felt his heart race, understanding what she was telling him. She didn't want him to hold back, which was great because didn't think he could. She grinned at Brogan. "Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about you." She reached out and took hold of him and Brogan nodded happily. He leaned forward and kissed Harry's neck.
"Who can resist Commander Potter?" Brogan teased. "I know I can't."
Harry smirked at them, ready to give Ginny whatever she needed. He turned them over and moved her legs to rest against his shoulders, lowering his hand to touch her. She turned to Brogan and reached for him, pulling him closer so that she could use her mouth on him. As her lips closed around their lover, Harry began moving, knowing she was more than ready for stronger thrusts. Ginny's body shook with every push and it was bloody amazing to Harry. The more force he used as he thrust into her, the more of Brogan she took into her mouth. The other man was watching them, blue eyes wide and dark, wonder and desire on his face. Harry couldn't help himself; he leaned over and kissed him, which made Ginny shudder in response. Brogan reached out and rested a hand on Harry's neck, saying his name softly. Harry understood and kissed him again, pausing what he was doing. Ginny pulled her mouth away from Brogan and writhed underneath them, and Harry soon began thrusting again, giving her an apologetic look. Stopping for extra snogs was apparently bad form.
It didn't take much time until Ginny was moaning again, her body rushing over the plateau of her pleasure, this time taking Harry with her. He emptied himself into her, falling over her as she lowered her legs. She cooed his name, her arms and legs wrapping around him and holding him close. Brogan moaned as he slumped next to them and before either of them could help him, he exploded into his hand, panting their names.
They all lay silently together, chests heaving from the exertion, and Ginny eventually tapped Harry on the shoulder.
"Sorry, love, but I can't breathe," she said, and he nodded, sliding towards Brogan on the bed. Brogan curled himself around Harry and they both reached for Ginny to join them, so she did, holding them both.
"Well," Brogan eventually said, chuckling. "I'm glad we got our housework priorities sorted."
"Yes, anytime anyone does any sort of chore we all shag like mad bunnies and then take a nap after," Harry mumbled. He could feel Ginny laughing. She kissed the side of his head and then moved to kiss Brogan as Harry slipped blissfully away into sleep.
o-o-o-o-o
"Ginny! I can't believe you didn't tell us! Not only that Brogan's all right but that he remembers you and that you all moved in here together!" Hermione said as she looked around their house. After waking up from their collective naps, the three of them had decided to floo at least one set of their friends to get the word out. She should have known her brother and Hermione would come right over.
"It's all happened kind of fast," Ginny admitted. They were in the kitchen trying to find something to put together from the lunch leftovers for an impromptu dinner. The men, of course, were standing out in the garden drinking butterbeer and talking about whatever they usually talked about. Ginny thought that it should be Ron in here, trying to come up with something to cook, in all honesty. He was much better at it than she was, after all.
"I wish I'd known you hadn't been to the shops yet though, I could have stopped at Tesco's or Sainsbury's. They're much better at foodstuffs than the local wizarding markets if you ask me. Although wizard markets do offer weekly deliveries."
"We're heading into London tomorrow, for Brogan's appointment with the healer. Why don't you meet me, if you're not busy, and you can show me how to find all the good Muggle deals," Ginny suggested. Hermione's eyes lit up but then she frowned.
"Oh, blast, I can't. I have a final meeting with Professor McGonagall tomorrow before she leaves for her holiday. It's her last chance to get away before school starts. She's put it off twice now to tend to things for us and I hate to ask her to wait again."
Ginny shrugged. "Oh, it's all right. Do you think Ron could show me around or is he hopeless?"
"Hey, I resent that," her brother said, coming into the kitchen.
"You don't even know what I said," Ginny argued.
"I resent it on the principle that you said it and it sounded highly derogatory. Oi, you're making a mess of this. Move out of the way, Gin. Honestly, how were you raised in a house with our mother as your guide and not know how to make a simple Hotchpotch is beyond me."
Ginny rolled her eyes but dutifully stepped out of the way of her brother. She grabbed a butterbeer of her own and went to join Harry and Brogan outside, letting Hermione and Ron bicker behind her. She felt quite chuffed that had actually worked and now she could enjoy herself and not worry about cooking. She was glad they'd invited the other couple over.
"Ron kick you out of the kitchen?" Harry asked as she joined them. Ginny gave him a big grin.
"How'd you reckon?"
"You have a glow about you," Brogan deadpanned. "The kind that only a woman freed from the confines of the kitchen can truly have."
Harry snorted. "What's he making us then?"
"A Hotchpotch."
"Uh. Sure. Is that anything like hopscotch? Because I don't fancy jumping for my supper."
Brogan snickered. Ginny pursed her lips at her boyfriend.
"Harry. It's a soup, erm, more like a stew if Ron is making it. Mum used to make it all the time. I was going to do just that but it makes Ron feel so superior and helpful at the same time to boss me out of the kitchen that it's my gift to him."
"It's been a long time since I thought of playing Peevers. Kath used to drag me about trying to play it with her when we were young," Brogan said.
"Dudley threw stones at me the one time I tried it with a girl at school. Broke my glasses, too. It was the one time he had a decent aim. Of course, it was all my fault and my aunt almost refused to get them fixed to teach me a lesson."
Ginny and Brogan exchanged looks at the mention of Harry's cousin and aunt. She stared at Harry to make sure he wasn't diving into melancholy, but he just appeared amused.
"Well, we're not playing it and you no longer wear your glasses, so you're safe," Ginny said, wrapping her arm around Harry's. She reached out for Brogan to join them and they wandered down the small brick path thru the rest of the garden.
"You know, I didn't realize this garden was so big. Thankfully, someone comes every three days to tend to it," Harry said, looking around. He glanced at Ginny, a smile threatening to break across his face. "So don't get any ideas about turning one of us into a gardener."
"Hah. And kill all these beautiful plants? Wouldn't dream of it," Ginny said smartly.
They stopped and took in the sight before them – it really was a lovely patch of land, Ginny thought, wondering if she should put in a garden at their real house when it was finished. Because it was summer, everything was blooming – so colorful and bright, even in the waning light. There was also a place to light a contained fire as well as stone benches to sit and relax on. She sighed and rested her head against Brogan's shoulder. She felt happy. Blissful, even.
"Oi! Do you three want to eat or are you going to wander about the garden all bloody night?" Ron called from the back door. The three of them looked at each other and sighed.
"Someone's hungry," Brogan murmured.
"Someone's a git," Ginny said under her breath. Harry poked her side with his finger.
"Play nice, Gin. He's your brother. You love him."
"Of course I do. That doesn't mean I like to be bossed about in my own home though, does it? Even if it is a rental."
They made their way back to the house, and Ginny could admit her stomach rumbled a bit as she caught the scent of Ron's stew. She could say one thing for her brother, he sure did know how to cook.
o-o-o-o-o
"Bloody hell, even when you three are just minding your own business, trouble finds you. What did you do to this O'Brien guy to hack him off anyway?"
Harry and Brogan shrugged. Ginny frowned at Ron. "We didn't do anything. He was bizarre from the start."
Brogan sat forward as Hermione poured them all some tea. The dishes, without the remains of their delicious soup, were already at work in the sink. Brogan made a face as he took a sip and Ginny mentally added coffee maker to her ever-growing list of things to get tomorrow. They'd searched the kitchen from top to bottom and had found an old kettle, but no coffee items.
"To be fair, Sean O'Brien has always been weird in my book. He's always made my Empath abilities go bonkers. I never could spend more than two minutes in his presence or my head would just throb. I reckon now we know why."
"But do we?" Hermione asked as she sat back down. "I mean, there's clearly something different about him if you have this reaction to him. Or do you normally feel like that around everyone?"
"No, not usually, that's true."
"Do you…"Ginny paused, trying to figure how to say what she'd just thought. "Do you think it's because he's hiding something? Like, say, his appearance?"
Brogan blinked at her, looking thoughtful. "That would explain it. If he's forcing one view of himself over another. It could account for why it messes with my sensibilities."
"Ginny sort of guessed it right away, when he first tried something on her, so perhaps because she has a touch of your Empath talent, it helped her be aware of something being off. But even then we thought maybe it was the bracelets protecting her," Harry said.
Hermione frowned. "I've been reading a bit about those bracelets and they're so odd. I borrowed a few books from Dumbledore's library, the portrait says hello, Harry, by the way, I think he wants to chat with you. Where was I? Oh, yes, the books. One of them was on the Armilla and it was an interesting read. I'll give it to Ron so he can give it to you tomorrow, Ginny when you meet up and you can flip through it yourselves."
"All I know is I am glad you three are home. You're not planning on going back any time soon, are you?" Ron asked.
"Just probably to visit George and Kath, maybe, before summer is over," Ginny said, glancing at Brogan, who nodded.
"Just be careful," Ron said, frowning at Harry and Ginny. "You two are going to give me grey hair, you know that right?"
"But then it would finally distinguish you from the rest of us," Ginny said, smiling at her brother. "Just what you've always wanted."
Ron rolled his eyes as Harry chuckled, almost spitting out his tea. The talk soon turned to other things- mostly Hermione and Ron's upcoming bonding. Before the other couple left, she made her brother promise not to let their parents know she was home yet. Ron gave her a serious look and then nodded. He hugged her intensely before they left, and Ginny almost didn't know what to do with herself.
"You need to talk to Dad and Mum soon," Ron said, squeezing her tight.
"I will, I just wanted a few days of breathing space-"
"No, I mean about…" Ron nodded at Brogan and Harry.
"Oh. Yes, well, I had actually thought of that myself," Ginny said, feeling annoyed suddenly.
"Hey, don't work yourself up into a tizzy. It's only….look, you're my sister and I love you. I want you to be happy, Gin. And when you're around those two you just…light up. I'm not sure you realize it, but you're all very touchy-feely with each other, more so than you ever were before. Dad and mum are going to know, the first time you are all together. So do it quicker rather than later, okay?"
Ginny felt touched that Ron cared and nodded. "Thanks, big brother."
"Yeah, yeah," Ron said good-naturedly. "I'll see you tomorrow, in front of Mungo's, right?"
Ginny nodded and she waved goodbye to Hermione as she and her brother started for home. Harry came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.
"Everything okay?"
"Yeah. Just Ron giving me brotherly advice."
"And he's still alive? This should be rich. What did he say?"
"He said I need to tell my parents about our, erm, arrangement here."
"Oh."
Ginny looked up at Harry, seeing his face go strangely blank. Brogan stood in the open doorway of the house and watched them, as though sensing they needed to be alone. He nodded at Ginny and then moved into the house, probably to finish up in the kitchen. She looked back at Harry.
"I don't know how I feel about that," he admitted when he saw her questioning gaze. "Is that…is that bad of me?"
"No, because I don't either. But I do think we…well, I, owe it to them to tell them how much he means to us. How much he means to me. Because they don't get it, Harry. They don't understand why we did what we did, and why I put myself in danger for him. They will always be confused until we tell them."
"This makes me nervous," Harry said, half-smiling. "I think…they're going to hate me, aren't they? They're going to think I bullied you into it or forced you, or-"
Ginny shushed him. "I won't let them think it. I will emphasize that I am doing this of my own free will and if they have a problem with me and who and how I chose to love, then, well, they're gonna miss out on any future grandchildren we give them."
"You sound like you want to have kids out of spite."
"Oh, you know I don't mean it like that. But it is also one of my weapons I can use to make them see reason if things go completely off the rails."
"Maybe we should ask Brogan what he thinks."
Ginny sighed. She had thought of that too. Because she wasn't just throwing herself and Harry under the Knight Bus, but him as well. And he deserved to know why her parents might suddenly come after him.
She and Harry turned to go into the house and found Brogan absentmindedly rubbing down the kitchen counter. He looked up as they entered.
"Are you two about to radically change my world? Or put my life in danger again? Because I gotta say, bad form."
Harry shook his head as Ginny held out her hand to the other man. "Come, we should talk. But let's do it someplace comfortable."
They settled on the large sofa in the sitting room. Roisin wandered in from heaven knew where and mewled at them. The kitten sat and stared at them, and, after thinking about it, finally picked Brogan's lap as her resting place. Harry seemed only mildly jealous.
"I've decided to speak to my parents," Ginny said.
Brogan looked confused. "Were you not talking before?"
"No, I mean, I'm going to tell them, about us. About you."
Brogan glanced at Harry and then looked back at her. "Oh. I see."
"We thought you might want to know," Harry offered.
"So if I see Molly coming down the road with a pitchfork in one hand and her wand in the other I shouldn't ask her in for tea?"
"Erm, no, probably not. But if she does attack you, could you move outside of the house? That way I can get my deposit back," Harry said, mouth twitching as Brogan grinned at him.
"I'm so glad you two find this funny."
Both men sobered instantly, and Brogan gave her an apologetic look. "I'm sorry, Ginny. Humor is the best defense against things that are mentally making me scream. I don't want you to do this because you feel pressured to. Both of you don't need to go about making grand announcements on my behalf. I am not suffering in silence or anything. I understand how things…are."
"It's not really about that," Harry said, taking hold of Brogan's hand. "It's just…we love you and we want the people who love us to know how much you mean to us. Her parents didn't understand what we were doing in Ireland. And, after they found out-"
"They didn't understand why we had risked so much to get you back," Ginny finished for Harry. "I should have told them then, but you didn't know us, you couldn't remember and-"
"Why bring up something that might have been over. No, I get it," Brogan said, nodding.
"Well, that, plus, I didn't want to add to your already overwhelming sense of being shocked."
Brogan sighed. "Do you think we should all do it together? Talk to them, I mean. I could make a vow that I care about you two, and erm, I don't know. I never thought in a million years this is a conversation I'd be having with someone's parents."
"Right there with you, trust me," Ginny said. She closed her eyes and shook herself. "Oh, sod this. Let's go to bed and I'll worry about it tomorrow. But I do think I should do it by myself. That way all of their anger and worry and concern can be directed at me, and I don't have to hear them say something mean to someone I love."
"Gin, you shouldn't have to do this by yourself-"
"No, I'm going to do it with you-"
Harry and Brogan looked at each other and then looked at her. She smiled at them and reached out to join hands with them. "I appreciate that boys, but I think I should do it. But I want you both close by so I can cry on your shoulders after, all right?"
"Well, come on," Harry finally said, standing and pulling them up with him. "Let's all go commit unnatural acts with each other and get it out of our systems."
Brogan snorted. "Um, that hasn't happened yet, and I don't think it will if this afternoon is any indication."
"Good point. We're all buggered then."
"Well, no, technically, you haven't been, Harry," Ginny said, teasing him. She looked at Brogan. "We should really change that."
"Oh, goody," Brogan said, smirking.
Harry waggled his eyebrows at Ginny. "Promises, promises, love. I'd like to see you try."
"I might know a few spells, and well, ahem, I am a Transfiguration expert…" Brogan said, letting his voice trail off suggestively.
"Oh, goody," Ginny said, laughing and mimicking Harry's lecherous grin. "Commander Weasley has a much nicer sound to it, don't you think, Harry?"
"What have I got myself in for?" Harry wondered.
Ginny stretched up and kissed him, and then pulled Brogan closer, fisting a hand in his shirt as she did the same to him.
"Just love," Ginny said, feeling breathless. "Lots and lots of love." And she knew that whatever came their way next- whether it was angry parents or a crazed Sean O'Brien, she knew they would face it together.
o-o-o-o-o
"We need to figure this out, Sid," Nigel said, leaning over Sid's desk.
The healer sighed and ran a hand over his face. It was late and he wanted to go home, make a half-hearted attempt at eating some takeaway and then collapse into his bed. Maybe not in that order. He knew he had an early appointment the next day with Brogan Caley and he wanted to be fairly rested and fresh. Right now, he'd settle for not-asleep.
"I know, Nigel," Sid said, sitting back. "Why do you think I'm here so late? But we'll get there. We have to."
Nigel grunted and sat back down. "Figuring out why that bloody bracelet disappeared into the body of its host is the first step in making sure Taranis doesn't get to come back. If we can figure out how it happened, perhaps we can make the other two do the same. I want to be prepared."
"I don't think this Taranis or O'Brien person figured it out either, from what I could see in Brogan's mind," Sid offered.
Nigel grunted again. After a moment, the older man fixed him with a somber look.
"Maybe we should bring Caley in."
"Before Weasley?"
Nigel shrugged rather nonchalantly. And Sid had a sinking feeling of what his mentor might mean by bringing him 'in'.
"No, Nigel. Please, do not mess with his memory, that young man has been through enough. I am still amazed he's walking around, functioning as a human being. They have no idea how extremely lucky they all are he even knows who he is after the thumping his head took. His mind needs to be left alone. Just the gentle probing I'm doing is probably too much."
"Bah. We need answers. Caley could have them. He seems fine. Must be that mythical Irish goddess blood he's got floating in his veins. Acts like a protection."
"I am fairly sure Sean O'Brien probably thought the same thing and look where that got him." Sid knew that if he had to he would fight Nigel on this until the end of days. He took his patient's well-being very seriously, and no one deserved to be left alone more than Caley. He was still worried about Brogan's fluctuating magical levels if he were honest with himself. They still hadn't returned to normal and they should have.
Nigel sighed. "All right, I was bluffing anyway. I won't meddle with his head. Spoilsport."
Sid shook his head and looked down at what he'd been reading. He didn't have the energy to keep at it and he knew it. He pushed some parchments into a folder and picked up his knapsack, sliding it into the opening. Maybe he could read a bit more at home. Yes, he was ever the optimist.
"On that note, I am going home to pretend to make love to my pillow, not eat some food and fail to get some rest. I'll check in tomorrow with you after I see Caley."
Nigel nodded and they both left the office together. Sid knew Nigel would stay in the Department of Mysteries until the next round of workers showed up, sometime around 3 am. It was the Department Head's routine to always greet his workers, no matter what the time. Sid wondered when the man ever actually slept and then realized maybe he didn't want to know as there was probably something highly illegal or questionable involved. Not all the Time-Turners had been destroyed and he knew that for a fact. Of course, then again, maybe McFarrin just popped down to the Space Chamber and had a kip in between Saturn and Jupiter. It'd be just like him.
"Just try to figure out the answer to our question," Nigel said as they parted at the lifts. "Anything we have against Taranis is a good thing, trust me. This maniac makes Voldemort look like an idle schoolboy threat. Remember they had to shove half of him into a human just to contain him and his power. I don't fancy doing that again."
Sid nodded as the doors closed and the lift started to ascend. It dawned on him then that Nigel must have misspoken. If Taranis had been made human as a way to control him, surely that had been done more than a millennia ago? Sid shook his head. Nigel just liked to fuck with him, he was sure.
