"Hey." Jane said as the blonde woman sat down on the opposite side of the table. It was Saturday night and Jane had decided to go out wit Stacy who had crossed her path at the hairdressers and the brunette caught a smile from the other woman and smiled back.

"Hey yourself." Stacy said and Jane grinned.

"How was your week?" her voice was calm and sweet. She liked Stacy. The woman was nice. Jane thought that Stacy might be okay with her body. They hadn't slept with each other yet and Jane had the intention to come out tonight.

"Easy. How was yours?" the blonde asked Jane who shrugged.

"You know how my weeks are busy most of the time. Summer is over, and murderers seem to like to work in autumn." She joked. Stacy laughed and reached for Jane's hand. Dark eyes watched fingers entwine and wondered how easy it was. "I just want company." Maura had said back then. Jane wanted company now.

Maybe more if possible. Mauras return had made Jane feel more alive, more positive and more outgoing. She wanted to give this a chance. She still felt that Maura was out of her reach and most of all, Maura was too dangerous. Her feelings for her were…. Well if she fell, it would hurt more.

Jane swallowed. Her thumb slowly caressed over Stacy's back of the hand. It was their third date, and she knew that Stacy expected this to be the day that Jane came home with her to make love. "There is something I have to tell you." Jane slowly said, glancing at the blonde who cringed. "You aren't married, are you?" the blonde asked, and Jane shook her head, blowing out some breath.

"I'm intersex." She said silently. "I have a penis." She clarified as she watched the usual drama unfold. Although thinking that Stacy might be okay with it, she had almost expected this to happen.

"What?" Stacy gasped and Jane simply nodded. "You're a man?" Stacy asked and Jane shook her head. "No, I'm both. I have body parts of both genders." She said calmly.

"You lied to me! I thought you were a lesbian!" the woman hissed, thankfully keeping her voice down. Jane watched her grab her purse and leave. Jane didn't even have time to reply "Yeah." She mumbled to herself and leant back in her seat. "Story of my life." She mumbled on and thought that Jay made it so much easier to get women. But she had chosen Jane.

She threw a 20 Dollar bill onto the table and was about to leave when another blonde moved into her booth. She blankly stared at Maura who gave her a sympathetic smile. Jane wondered what Maura had heard of the conversation.

The doc reached for her hand and Jane flinched slightly at the electrifying feeling. She stared into hazel eyes and realized that Maura hadn't heard her conversation with Stacy. Was Maura still clueless she wondered. The docs hand left Janes as quickly as it had covered it and they ordered another round of beer and wine.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Maura asked after some silence.

"No, we were just dating." Jane replied wearily rubbing her head.

"I'm sorry." Maura said and Jane gave her long look. "It's okay. I'm just not good at this. This is why im still single. Do you have someone?" she asked and saw Maura's eyes flicker. "I don't date." The blonde said evasively but determined and Jane was intrigued. "No relationship?" she asked, and Maura laughed lightly. "Not after my marriage, no. I intend to stay single for the rest of my life." Jane would have teased her on that, but she felt that Maura was serious and that this wasn't the time for stupid teasing.

"But you have someone?" she asked and watched Maura's slow nod. Then Maura pulled her phone out of her purse and opened some pictures. She turned her phone so that Jane could see the picture of a kid that… she hid her shock. A kid that looked just like Jay. This was impossible, wasn't it? She tried not to shake as she took the phone out of Maura's hand to get a better look.

"He's sweet." She mumbled and saw Maura nod. "Like his father."

"Where is his father?" Jane asked, her mouth dry. It couldn't be her, because she had always been careful. And she had pulled out at the creek, hadn't she? There had been only that one time that she had thought that the condom was broken, but Maura had assured her that she was on the pill anyways. Jane blinked again and began to see, that the boy didn't look like her, just similar. But not similar enough.

"I don't know." Maura admitted and scratched her head. "It was sort of a one-night stand." She admitted with a crooked grin. If it was Jane, Maura would have known how to reach her. They had each other's number the brunette thought as she swiped over the screen to see the next picture.

"How old is he?" Jane asked and Maura smiled. "Almost 10. I thought that this would be a good time to move, because he starts a new school level this fall." Jane nodded and smiled at the boy who was holding a small fish on a fishing pole. His proud smile turned towards the camera.

"I slept with two people that time. I'm not proud of it. But it was… I was young. Unattached, experimenting… I'm pretty sure that I can exclude one of them because he pulled out in time. It's highly unlikely that something happened with him." Maura's face was blushed as she gave up another detail of her past and Jane didn't know if to exhale in gratitude or feel deceived as she thought that Maura meant her.

Jane nodded. "Are you looking for him to let him know?" she saw how Maura thought that it was a strange question. "Actually, I managed to find out why I thought to know you. You look similar to someone I met in college." Maura changed the subject abruptly and Jane thought that there was no way out there if she lied there. Yet she couldn't help.

"Oh, all right. Because I was sure that Jane and Maura never have met before." She said, carefully choosing her words.

"His name was Jay. We had some lectures together at BCU. Nothing serious, yet we fooled around a bit like young people do." Maura said absentmindedly while travelling down memory lane. Fooled around huh? Jane thought remembering her clumsiness and cringed.

"Didn't we all have that phase?" Jane laughed and took a sip of beer. She wiggled her eyebrows and Maura laughed. "Guess so, yes." She replied.

The conversation turned to lighter subjects and the evening became far more enjoyable as they dropped the subject at all. Jane didn't want to poke further into Maura's wounds and let go of the topic completely despite still being curious. Jane even felt like regaining some of the old lightness from back then as they talked and teased each other.

"I really enjoyed this evening." Jane honestly said as they stood on the sidewalk later that night.

"Me too. Maybe we do it again?" Maura's voice sounded hopeful, and Jane melted. "Yeah, maybe." She said vaguely and they parted ways. Jane sat in her car for a while after Maura had driven off and she was thinking that she too was drawn to Maura and how it looked as if they were slowly forming a friendship.

R&I

Maura was slowly lowering her body onto Jane's lap. The hard cock was already waiting for her wet core and Jane groaned in anticipation as she watched Maura come closer. Their eyes met and Jane could see the fire in Maura's eyes.

"Jay." The blonde whispered, pleading for Jane to make her feel better. She nodded and watched Maura come closer again. She felt her dick moving into the wetness and the tight walls taking her in like an old friend. They reacquainted each other again and Jane groaned when Maura rolled her hips and made her member twitch. "God, Maur." She whispered and buckled her hips.

Jane reached for her nipples and Maura threw her head back and moaned as she rode her. Then a disturbing noise. Who was ringing the doorbell in the middle of the night? Jane slowly awoke from the dream with her hard on and reached for the phone on the nightstand when noticing that it wasn't the doorbell but her mobile which was making that annoying sound.

"Rizzoli." She muttered not even bothering to sound awake. It was 2:35 in the morning according to her alarm clock and she lifted the waistband to look at her erection. Damn she muttered, apologizing towards dispatch explaining that she didn't mean her.

She slid out of bed and reached for the electronic shaver because it was faster. Then she got dressed and groaned at the pain when she strapped her erection to her body. These were the days she hated. After a short drive she pulled into the driveway of a house, seeing Maura's Prius sitting already in the street.

"Jane Rizzoli, Victor 809" she gave her credentials before ducking under the yellow tape and walking towards the house. An officer was standing by the bushes and throwing up which made her roll her eyes.

"Claims he has eaten Chinese which wasn't good." Korsak chuckled when he saw her face. "First crime scene?" Jane asked remembering her first time at the sperm bank when she wanted to puke out of nervousness too. "First times are the hardest." Mandy had said and Jane shook her head to lose the memory.

"I think it's his third. Puked at each of them." Korsak mumbled and Jane glanced over her shoulder suddenly recognizing the officer who had turned around. "Frost?" she called and Korsak stopped as she did. "You know him?" he asked, glancing between them.

"Yeah." Jane smiled. Must be the year of returns she mused and cringed when realizing that Frost turned to her with a puzzled look. Like Maura, he couldn't know her. Like Maura, he had only known her as Jay, a team member.

"Uh maybe not." She said and turned quickly to walk into the house. Hell, this was becoming torture. Was the universe trying to tell her something or what? She cursed slightly after almost stumbling over the body and Maura who were both situated behind the door.

Like an amateur! She swore and glanced into hazel eyes that looked wide awake. "Already had coffee?" Jane guessed and Maura nodded. "I have more in the car." She said and ordered one of the officers to take the keys out of her purse to fetch it for Jane.

"Thank you." Jane murmured, crouching down next to Maura. She pulled the violet latex gloves over her hands and let each snap. Maura shook her head and smiled. "I like you detective, but some of your habits are very annoying." She stated and Jane huffed shooting her a questioning glance.

"Habits like?" she challenged Maura who shook her head again. "Like not knowing when you're coming during a blow job." She silently whispered with a grin and Jane blushed instantly into a crimson red.

"Excuse me?" she whispered fiercely, and Maura smiled. "Took me a while to figure out where I know you from. But now, I'm sure." She said and refocused on the body when Korsak approached them again. Unable to investigate the matter further, Jane tried to focus on Maura's and Korsaks exchange about body temperature and other things. Her head was spinning. Maura knew, she thought. And she wasn't mad?

Oh hell, maybe she would get it when they were alone. She tried to take a steadying breath and held the evidence bags open for Maura to drop a necklace, a wallet and other stuff into them.

Jane dreaded the moment she had to go to the morgue to witness the autopsy. She was nibbling on her thumb, her head being anywhere but the case. Hadn't it been a matter of time until Maura would find out? She thought as she pushed the pen from one side of the desk to the other. Strangely she felt some kind of relief that it was out now.

The ringing of the phone on her desk made her sit up and when she saw Maura's name on the caller ID she felt like panicking. Oh well, she would find out what the good doctor had to say she thought as she grabbed her jacket and walked to the elevator.

She entered the autopsy suite with her usual swagger and greeted Maura with a "So, what do we have?" and caught a smile from the blonde who was already done with the y-incision.

I haven't determined the cause of death now." She replied and opened the cavity to look at the organs. Jane watched patiently as Maura brought them one by one to light to weight and measure them.

"Can't we just cut it short and say that he was shot?" Jane asked after a while, pointing to the shut wound on the man's forehead. She wanted to talk about something else. "No, we never take shortcuts in forensic medicine." Maura scolded her, looking up at Jane. Her face was split by a wide grin.

"So, how did you figure it out?" Jane silently asked after a few moments. She was curious what had told Maura her identity.

Maura's hands paused briefly, and Jane could see her frown. "You don't deny it Jay?" Maura asked in return and Jane shook her head. "No, why should i?" she asked and suddenly felt relieved again that the secret was out in the open.

"All the time I had the strange feeling to know you." Maura silently replied, turning off the microphone. "But I couldn't place you." She paused and both watched her hands working on the body. And when I went to bed last night the pieces suddenly fell into place. Your mother saying that no one is as private as you are. That reminded me of Jay. But I thought it couldn't be possible. Maybe you're his female doppelgänger. But your reaction when I showed you Harry's picture, your questions… and I was sure then when I smelt your scent when you bent over to thank me for the coffee at the crime scene." Maura shrugged.

Jane let another silence come over them and simply watched her for a while. Jane saw questions in Maura's eyes, and she had some of herself. "You're not mad?" she asked and watched Maura shake her head.

"I should be I think, but I hope that you'll explain it to me one day." She silently said and Jane nodded.

"Wine at my place?" she asked, and Maura gave her a surprised glance. "So easy Jay?" she teased when she had regathered her wits and Jane laughed. "Please, not here." She motioned around not wanting anyone to hear Maura call her Jay to prevent some curious questions. "They don't know, and I want to keep it a secret."

Maura nodded and they agreed to meet at Janes place later that day. Tomorrow was Saturday and they would start work at a later hour. Jane decided that the talk was long overdue and was worth a short night. The doc switched the microphone back on and the autopsy was finished in silence while Jane watched her and occasionally asked case-related questions.
