Hi guys, this is my first fanfic! i hope you enjoy it. Just a quick note, worda in italics are thoughts! please read and review,

It was a busy day at the mansion. Full of life and full of christmas spirit! Most of the mansion was up already but for the resident weather goddess Storm, she wasn't up. She never celebrated christmas before as growing up her parents gone at the age of 6, also it was never celebrated in her tribe in Kenya, christmas for her was whatever she could steal. Ororo just laid in her non-decorated room and stared at the window, glancing down at the snow covered ground and thinking about what was going on downstairs.

Jean Grey, Ororo's best friend walked up to her attic room. Jean always loved her friends room, something about it was just so peaceful and as it was havok downstairs with the children, she decided to go and talk to Ororo.

She lightly knocked upon the door, and heard a slight huff. Ororo could not be bothered to put up with anyone trying to get her in the christmas spirit. "If you have came to drag me downstairs, there is no way, so please leave." Jean let herself in. "Thats not a way to treat your beloved friend" Jean looked at Ororo, who just laughed and rolled over to face her friend and propped herself up on her elbow.

"Hello Jean, did you come up here to say hello or to escape downstairs?"

No reply.

"Jean? I don't need to be a telapath to know what the answer is my dear, is everything alright?"

Even though she didn't want to put up with anyone, Jean was always welcome, the red head was her other half of the day, both of them sun and moon. They could not live without each other.

"Ro, those kids have been up since half six, thats three hours ago, screaming and shouting is all I have heard. Your so lucky girl friend to have such a secluded room".

That was true, Ororo did have a secluded room, far away from all the students and on the top floor. It was such a peaceful place and only a few were ever allowed in. Jean and Gambit were the only ones because they were her closet friends, Remy practically being her brother. The Proffesor was also allowed whenever he needed be. Logan was banned for his foul language and his refusal of no smoking in her room. Scott, she loved him to bits, but he annoyed her a lot and espacially after the fact that he broke up with her best friend.

"So tell me dear friend, what brings you here? Came to relax?"

"Mhmm"

"Well my dear, come make yourself comfortable."

And so Jean did, she plodded over to Ororo's queen sized bed and layed herself down on it.

"You look awkward like that let me help."

And so Ororo did, using her gift she let a gentle breeze lift the red head a feet above her bed , Storm then unravelled the quilt, set Jean down carefully and brought the quilt back up over them both. "There, better?." Jean let out a sigh of relief and turned to Ororo. She felt safe, and more comfortable, and less awkward. Being in a room, full to the brim with children and her recent ex was not on her christmas list. Ororo pulled her closer so Jean could snuggle up to her, little did Ororo know the suprise Jean had hid in her pocket.

Scott had broken up with Jean for numerous reasons before but never this one, it always used to be because of Logan, but that was never Jeans fault she couldn't control others eyes and where they wandered unless she was to use her telepathy which would be a breach in their personal space. No but this time Scott had ended their relationship for one reason.

Storm.

Jean had been staring at Storm when she was talking with students or other staff members and Scott started to notice, which annoyed him. Scott pulled Jean aside after they had finished their last class before the Christmas break and confronted her, but. she just turned red and declined the obvious, of course Storm didn't know she was the problem here and she couldn't do anything about it. The arguement went on for well over an hour, tears and light screamings from the hoarse pair that could barely be heard. It didn't end well for both, because they wanted it to stay quiet but it couldn't. One of them had to move out.

Thats what Jean came to talk to Ro about.

"Hmm ro, can i ask you a question." This broke Ororo out of her gentle daze and gently looked down at the red head wrapped in her arms. "Sure." She replied with a gentle tone.

"So,you know how me and Scott are no more?"

She nodded her head.

"One of us have to move out, and it has to be me as it was Scott's original room to begin with."

Storm knew where this was going. "Jean, my friend, if you are trying to ask me if you could come and stay with me in my room, the answer is yes, you are more than welcome to stay here with me." Jean let out a sigh of relief. This was perfct, after breaking up with Scott well over three weeks ago now, she needed to spend more time with Ororo, try and move on.

They stayed like that for half an hour until a knock was heard at the door. Ororo knew who it was, it was his normal visiting hours. Jean didn't know who it was and didn't want to be caught like this, wrapped up with her bestfriend in Ororo's bed, some people might get the wrong idea. Not like that would bother Jean. Jean telepathically sent a message to Ororo claiming to need to go have breakfast, Ororo nodded and lifted up the quilt for her to get out of. Jean went over to the balcony doors, opened them, closed them then telepathically lowered herself down. Once Ororo knew that Jean was gone out of sight, she answered the knock with "Come in." And not to her suprise, her brother Remy came plodding in.

"Mornin' Stormy." Remy knew what was coming after that, it always annoyed her.

"Don't call me that and good morning Remy."That retched name, she thought, but she smiled.

"What brings you up here dear brother?"

"Jus wanted t'see wh't ya up to." He answered honestly.

"Nothing much honestly Remy, come sit." And so he did, sat on the top of her bed, Ro was still under the duvet and was not coming out of it. Storm lifted her head, and rested it on Remy's lap so he could play with it. This was their normal routine. He ran his fingers through her silky hair, "Mon dieu Stormy, dis so soft." She just gentley laughed. She enjoyed this.

After a while, Remy asked if she had any breakfast, she replied with a shake of the head. Remy pushed her head off his lap in a playful manner, and said "Chere, Remy is going t' go get you some breakfast, stay here, no moving." And so off he went, opened the door, and to his suprise, Jean was there.

"Oh umm hi Remy, is Ro still up here?"

"Yes chere, Remy goin' t' get her some breakfast."

"Okay then, ill see you later."

"Hold up whatcha wanting with my Stormy?"

"Just to see her, thats all."

Remy didnt Jean, and just nodded his head , but closed the door. He walked past her, and just as he heard the handle of the door twist, he looked backward to look in her back pocket. There it was, a piece of Misletoe. He knew Ororo had no intrest in men, only as her friend. So could Jean get with his stormy. He would make this the quickest breakfast trip he could possibley do.

He moved off the bottom step and ran down the hallway that was the teachers dormitory. He ran past his room, Beast's room, Scott's room, Logans, then was greeted by stairs. He lept down the first flight and then the second, some students were walking down the other side after putting their unwrapped present in their rooms, and glanced over at their teacher. He sped past the main hall, which was still occupied by teachers and students, still opening presents. Shocked, he ran further to the kitchen. Went straight into the kitchen, reached up for an apple, he knew she never ate anything heavy for breakfast and knew an apple would be enough. So he grabbed the apple ad started his journey back up.

"What was Remy up here for?' Jean was a bit shocked when he was standing there infront of her.

"Oh nothing, he has gone to get me some breakfast, and then he was complementing me on my hair." They were in the same position as they were before Remy had inturrepted them, Jean knew this was her time. She reached down and pulled the plant out of her back pocket and sat up straight. Hiding itfrom Ororo's view, she pulled her best friend up so that she was resting on her elbow. She then dangled the plant above both their heads. "Jean, i know this is misletoe, but what does it mean as sch to be dangled above our heads."Of courseJean thought,Ororo wouldn't know as she never celebrated Christmas before. "Uhm basically, two people exchange a kiss" she stuttered out turning bright red. Ororo let out a light laugh and held Jeans face. "Hey, there is no need to be embarresed, I promise it won't be bad." Jean looked down at Ororo's eyes, so peaceful she thought. She knew it wouldn't be bad but the only thing that was know putting her of was...

Footsteps.

They were Remy's. She started to paniic as she sensed them more and more, getting closer. She was froze, until she felt the warmth of someones lips on hers. Jean shut her eyes an started to move her mouth with Ororo's. It felt amazing. Jean's tounge pried for entrance and Ororo welcomed it. Jean pushed Ororo over she that he was on top. This sweet little kiss she had planned had turned into a make out session, hands roaming through each others hair, hands finding their way around the others bodies grasping and pulling at different points. They were still making out when Jean felt a tap on her shoulder. Shit, it was Remy. She opened her eyes and pulled away from Ororo who's eyes also slowly opened. Both pairs of eyes were looking at a set of red ones.

"I knew it, ha!" Remy said glancing at the two. "Remy just go away." Jean was embarresed and could not be bothered to have Remy make fun of them both.

"Stormy?"

"Please Remy, you can come back later, leave the apple on my bedside table please."

"But.."

He as cut off with Jean merging her lips again into Ororo's. "Okay chere, i will leave but Jean, don' hurt h'r ." Remy knew Jean heard and left the two to do their thing. "You can 'ave Stormy t'day, i don' wanna find you tw' in different positions." And with that Remy left the stairs and went off elsewhere.
