"Well, where do even begin?" Minerva asked rhetorically as she addressed her friend with a smile.

Satella giggled at that, understanding just how much of a handful her adorable little daughter could be. She took a moment to smile at the beautiful baby sat cheerfully, directing her smile towards her loving husband as she grasped his hand in hers before redirecting her attention to her best friend.

"She can be quite the handful; I hope she wasn't too much trouble." Her voice was filled with idle joy. It was clear that although this moment wasn't a particularly special one, Satella was truly happy.

Satella's smile was infectious, causing everybody at the table, including her adorable daughter, to display nothing but pure joy on their face.

"A handful, yes. Trouble, no." Minerva stated, smiling at the baby as she spoke. "She was wonderful." She said, a glint of something in her eyes akin to that of envy as she looked upon the loving family.

Satella, having noticed the sad look in her friends eyes, gave her a look full of sympathy as she reached across to her, holding her hand for comfort for a moment as Subaru played with Adhara to keep her happy as to not ruin the cheerful atmosphere.

"Please don't think looking after her was any sort of burden for me." Minerva comforted as she gave Satella's hand a light squeeze to show that she was okay. This made the half elf smile as she released her grip and lent back into her chair, giving Subaru a small hug by placing her head on his shoulder.

"I certainly hope she wasn't a burden. Then we'd be out of a babysitter." Subaru quipped with a smile as he chuckled to himself, his laughter growing as Satella playfully whacked him over the head with her palm.

"Subaru!" she explained, trying to hold her giggles back as their hands remained intertwined.

Minerva smiled watching the two, laughing along with them as she turned her attention to Adhara. To her surprise, the quarter elf looked back at her and smiled. The small gesture was enough to make the blonde woman feel warm. She was happy the adorable child liked her.

"And besides it would mean Adhara would lose her first friend." Subaru completed his statement, smiling across to Minerva who seemed more than excited to have such a title.

"Oh please, im just glad she doesn't hate me." Satella chuckled at that, she was convinced Adhara didn't have a hateful bone in her body, so Minerva's worries were truly unfounded.

"I doubt she could hate anybody." She voiced her opinion as she smiled at her first born, enjoying the glimpses of Subaru she could see within the dark-haired elf.

"I'm certainly glad I'm not the person to prove you wrong." Minerva cheered, leaning her elbows on the table and using her hands to prop up her head. "But she was no trouble at all. She ate everything I fed her, and she was wonderfully well behaved." Minerva paused for a moment, a soft look in her eyes. "It was quite nice, really. Being able to entertain her was the best feeling." Satella smiled and nodded at that.

"Her smile is truly a thing of beauty." The half elf claimed, a smile near identical to the one she had praised being brought upon her face.

"Because its just like yours." Subaru whispered, just quiet enough for it to be inaudible as he stared in awe of his wife's beauty, as he usually would.

"Did you two enjoy your 'alone time'?" Minerva questioned; shit eating grin spread across her entire face as she raised her eyebrows teasingly.

Satella blushed a bright red as Subaru directed his attention elsewhere.

"I-It was quite pleasant to have some time to ourselves." Satella admitted, nudging Subaru with her elbow to get his attention.

"Huh? Oh. Yeah, it was amazing." He said, trying not to let his expression display too much joy as he hoped to not give away their daily activities.

His extended pause as he stared at his wife's face was proof enough for Minerva though.

"So, maybe next time I'll have two little quarter elves to babysit." Minerva teased, a smirk spread across her face as she enjoyed the embarrassed blush on Satella's face as she retreated into Subaru's arms.

"Maybe." The man murmured as he giggled at Satella's embarrassment. "I wouldn't mind that, if its okay with you." He said, showing nothing but a welcoming attitude to the idea of more children.

Seeing Subaru so happy made Minerva smile, she was glad Satella had chosen such a wonderful man to marry.

"Have as many as you two want." She comforted, grin fading for only but a second "Rabbits." She mumbled as she stood up, only making Satella more embarrassed in the process.

"I-" Subaru couldn't respond to the woman's statement as he too shrunk into a pit of embarrassment, nothing but Adhara's giggle to bring him out of it.

"I would love to stay and tease you lovebirds more, but unfortunately Echidna needs my help with something." Minerva said ruefully, her expression dampening as she declared she had to leave.

Satella stopped leaning on Subaru and stood up eagerly.

"Can you please clean Adhara up darling?" She asked as she gave her husband a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see Minerva out." Subaru nodded with a smile, turning to tend to the proof of his love for his wife with a smile.

Minerva smiled as her best friend joined her by the door.

"Seriously, thank you so much for looking after Adhara." Satella stated as she pulled her friend into a hug.

"I just wanted to help my best friend have a special anniversary." The wrathful witch said with a smile, patting her friends back with her hand as they embraced.

"It was the best." Satella's voice was soft as she turned back to look at Subaru and Adhara, a small blush on her face as she did so.

"It truly is amazing how much you two love each other." Minerva stated, a longing look in her eyes. "Its admirable. Im glad he makes you so happy."

"He makes me happier than anything." Satella retorted unashamed as she continued staring at the mans back as he carried Adhara into the living room.

"I know he does. And I know you make him just as happy." Minerva nodded along with her own words. "It truly is special. If you two need anything, please do not hesitate to ask." Satella nodded her head and gave Minerva a slight bow.

"Thank you so much Nerva, you have no idea how much it means to me." Minerva smirked at this.

"I think I know exactly how much it means to you." She said as she poked Satella's stomach playfully. "I hope the next ones a boy." She stated with a smile before turning on her heal and walking out the door. Leaving a stunned and embarrassed Satella to hold it open to say her goodbyes.

"Mean." She muttered before smiling. "Have a good day, Minerva!" she shouted at the blonde's retreating form, making the witch turn around and wave back.

"See you three soon!" she cheered as she walked backwards.

Only when Minerva's retreating form could no longer be seen did Satella close the wooden door with a smile, remaining by the door as her smile deepened and she closed her eyes for a moment. She was so happy.

She sighed and turned on her heel, going to the living room. What greeted her was a magical sight. Adhara, her daughter, asleep on her husband's lap.

Despite the pure joy she felt seeing that image, Satella couldn't help but pout.

"She stole my seat." She wined playfully as she walked over to Subaru, who smiled at her comment.

"You can use my arm as a pillow if you'd like." He told her, smiling as he watched her face light up like a Christmas tree.

"Yes please!" she exclaimed. Joyfully taking her place lying beside her beloved and resting her head against his arm as she drifted off to sleep.

Life was truly perfect. And neither of them would change a thing. As long as they had each other, they were happy, and they were without envy.
