Long time, no see!

Sorry for the slow update.

Enjoy!

Rapunzel: This is life after happily ever after

And it's all just as sweet as the stories say

I feel wild, free, as light as can be

And ready to explore

With nothing at all standing in my way

"Really?" asked Hiccup. "Because when I was heir it was terrible."

"It's because you were terrible," said Snotlout.

True, there are certain customs I have to follow

Cassandra: Curtsy.

Several small obligations I can't avoid

Cassandra: Princess, the time.

A few rules, too... well, more than a few

Commitments by the score

Aside from all that, though, I'm overjoyed

Cassandra: This way, Princess.

And sure there are corsets and buckles and bows

Plus all those names to recall

Rapunzel: Chane?

Maid: Ethel.

Rapunzel: Right.

Still I can hardly complain, I suppose

This is happily ever after, after all

Cassandra: That's enough. I'll take it from here.

The maids leave.

Cassandra: How are you holding up?

Rapunzel: (laughs) Busy. But busy is good.

Cassandra: I'm glad you think so, Raps, 'cause this welcoming ceremony is just the beginning. (as she fixes Rapunzel's appearance) Tomorrow's the festival, followed by the royal banquet, and that's all before the actual coronation on Sunday.

"Wow," said Varian. "Being a princess is a hard job…"

Cassandra: (looking at Rapunzel's bare feet) Oh, come on, really? Look, Rapunzel, I know this princess thing is new to you, but you've got to at least try to act the part.

Rapunzel: Trust me, Cassandra, I know how important this is to my dad.

In the meeting room with the Captain and the King.

Captain: As you've requested, Your Majesty, we've doubled security on both the main gates and the south towers.

Frederic: Good. We have guests from all over the world. I want them to know that they are safe. Everything for my little girl's coronation weekend must be absolutely, (opens door) perfect.

Rapunzel: Hi, Dad.

And now that at last you are here in my arms

I won't permit you to fall

I must protect you

From all the world's harms

We'll live happily ever after, after all

"Oh Thor, look at Cassandra's face!" laughed Hiccup.

At this AJ rewound the video for others to look at her face. Soon most of the vikings were laughing uncontrollably.

"I mean, look at it, she's like 'I dunno it's stupid, but who cares, he's the king'!" said Hiccup.

"Shut up, kid!" cried Cassandra.

Frederic: Now, as princess, you are not only representing yourself and the family, but all of Corona.

Rapunzel: Don't worry, Dad. I won't let you down. But while we're on the whole princess, coronation thingy, I mean, all these royal activities are great, but do you think I might be able to catch a little downtime soon?

Frederic: I know this is all new, but you'll adjust. After all, your friend seems to be getting on just fine.

Back to Eugene trying on fancy clothes.

Eugene: Ooh-hoo-hoo, Helmut, my man, this hat ties the whole outfit together. Now, I know what you're all thinking. "Why is Eugene in such a good mood today?" "I mean, what gives?"

Now that we're living splendor

Our dreams fulfilled extendedly

Why leave things open-endedly

For Rapunzel and moi?

Tonight I'll hand this rose to her

Kneel down and then propose to her

And give this ring I chose to her

Eugene shows an engagement ring in a box.

Ruffian: Nice.

Life's gonna be like strawberry sherbet

Once she is Mrs. Eugene Fitzherbert

The royals shot Eugene a look.

Eugene: Okay, not great, but how about this?

Once she is Princess Eugene Fitzherbert

Eugene: And what better day to propose to a princess than at her coronation?

Rapunzel/Eugene:

This is life after happily ever after

And our story has finally reached its end

Eugene: Settling down here

Rapunzel: Year upon year

Contented and secure

With dozens of duties we'll have to tend

And now that we've gotten the dream that we chose

Now that we're in for the haul

Now our adventures can come to a close

Living happily ever after, after all

Rapunzel:

Now that I've gotten the dream that I chose

Why does my world feel so small?

If this is it

And it is, I suppose

Is this happily ever after, after all?

Rapunzel: (glazing into her mirror) Okay, no pressure. Just introducing myself to the most important people in the world. Representing my mom, dad, and the entire kingdom. We got this.

In town, a boy is pasting posters to the street's walls. A rat appears and steals a poster and swims into the sewer. It arrives at an underground lair with two shadowy figures. It climbs onto the table and gives the poster to the figure sitting in the chair.

"Who's that?" asked someone from the crowd.

"Lady Caine," said Rapunzel, making a fist.

Ruffian: Lady Caine, what is it?

Lady Caine: Time to pay our respects to our beloved royals.

She burns the poster with a candle.

Fanfare playing. Rapunzel and her parents are standing at the top of the central staircases waiting for the carriages to approach.

Rapunzel: We're good at making people feel welcome. This is completely doable... ish.

Rapunzel sees Eugne in the crowd, he waves his hand at her, she responds.

Frederic clears his throat. Rapunzel stops waving and stands up right. Trumpets resonate.

Footman: Your Highness, I present Dame Elizabeth Van Hoskins of Rochester.

"Why is her name so long?" grumbled Tuffnut.

"I forgot her name when that guy was saying her name," said Ruffnut, crossing her arms.

Rapunzel goes for a bear hug, we can hear ribs cracking. The crowd gasps. Cassandra and Eugene are looking panicked.

"That sounds...painful," said Varian.
