Trying To Start
It was some time after meeting Yukimo's boyfriend, Ricardo and Mihiru was happy to have met him, and see how her friend had been doing lately. At the moment, Mihiru was staring out of a window when Ibara, her adoptive mother walked up to her.
"Thinking about them?" Ibara asked Mihiru, "Still?" "Yes, mom," Mihiru answered, "Say, can we see them again someday?" "Sure," Ibara answered, "Someday." However, Haruto, Mihiru's adopted father and Ibara's husband, still had his doubts about Ricardo. "I'm not sure," he mumbled.
"Come on, dad," Mihiru said, "Lighten up. He's friendly." "I'll try," Haruto replied, "But it is hard. And he was friendly to you." "Come on, dad," Mihiru said, urging her father. Haruto had to submit.
"All right," Mihiru said, "And remember, they're both really friendly." Still, Haruto wasn't convinced about Ricardo, but he only though it to himself.
"We can say hello to them again," Ibara said, "When we get the chance. But we still got a lot to do right now."
"Anyway," Mihiru replied, "So what's next? For us?" "Still," Haruto replied. "Come on," Ibara said, "Lighten up. We need to plan what to do now." "Yes," Mihiru said. "Okay," Ibara said, "Now." "Like we said, "We decided that you should socialize more." "Uh, I decided on that," Mihiru said.
"Yes," Haruto replied embarrassed. "We should let you go out and meet more people," Ibara said. "Right," Mihiru answered. "Now," Ibara said, "I think it's time to start. I mean for you to start." "Still making mistakes with your speech, my love," Haruto said, "Like before."
"Oh, come on," Ibara replied, embarrassed. "Right," Mihiru said. "There were some people that we've met on our journey," Ibara said, "And now, I think it's time that you meet them." "Ok," Mihiru said. "Right," Haruto replied.
"Where?" Mihiru asked, "When?" "I'm pretty sure that they're living normal lives now," Ibara suggested, "After all, it's been over a year." "And where exactly?" Haruto asked." "No idea." Ibara answered.
"Oh, mom, dad," Mihiru said." "We're still making fools out of ourselves," Ibara answered meekly. "Ugh," Haruto groaned. "Wow," Mihiru said.
That was when the doorbell ring and then there was a knock. "Oh, it must be our friends," Ibara said. "Really?" Haruto asked." I forgot. I called them to come over and visit today. Which was yesterday." "And why are you being clueless?" Haruto asked. "Oh well," Ibara answered, "Just being myself."
"Wow," Mihiru said to herself, "Are my parents having a embarrassing contest?" They soon answered the door and they have arrived.
