Bouchard's By the Bay

Chapter 15 Arrival of the Guests

*Steamy Scene Warning*

Lucas woke up early rolling over and kissing his new bride on the cheek before rolling out of bed. "Elizabeth my parents will be arriving in an hour we need to get up." He rubbed his beard in the crook of her neck making her laugh.

" Do we have to? I really want to lay here with you all day." She teased rubbing her fingers gently over his chest.

"As much as I wish we could lay here there are too many people going to be here."

"Darling, after they arrive it is unlikely, we will get any alone time until the ceremony. I want to fully take advantage of this hour." She pleaded.

"You make a very good point." He crawled back under the covers, and they were playfully teasing each other until their desire got the best of them and they succumbed to each other. "I love you, Elizabeth! The next twelve days are going to be torcher without having you close. I think we will just have to be extra sneaky." Lucas whispered while kissing her deeply and massaging her body.

"I thank God everyday Mr. Bouchard that you chose me to be your wife! I could not be any happier." She winked kissing him one more time.

It was 10 am when Lucas heard a knock on the door and just in time. He had just finished getting dressed and grabbed a Danish and a glass of orange juice from the kitchen.

'Lucas, darling." Helen said wrapping her only son in a deep hug. "Where is Elizabeth?"

"She's upstairs getting ready mother. I will show you to your room and then we will all meet for lunch in the dining room. Mother remember we have not told anyone so please keep it a secret until the ceremony."

"I told your father darling. He promised not to say anything."

"Your secret is safe with me son." Martin assured him with a handshake.

"Thank you, father, and welcome. "Lucas greeted while showing them the way to their room."

"Lucas, son your home is beautiful. I am so happy you have finally found someone to share your life with."

"Thank you father and I am too."

Elizabeth came walking down the hall and met them outside their room. "Helen it is nice to see you again. You must be Martin. I can see the family resemblance." She chuckled offering a handshake.

"We are to be family my dear. A hug will do just fine." Martin said while enveloping her in a big hug.

"I assume you both will be joining us for lunch downstairs. Lucas will be cooking this afternoon." Elizabeth said with a smile.

"I will?" He asked.

"You are brilliant in the kitchen darling and magical in the bedroom." She whispered in his ear causing him to blush.

"Well, I wouldn't say that, but if my lady wishes I will do lunch. I guess I should head to the kitchen."

Lucas headed to the kitchen and placed a ham in the oven with a brown sugar glaze. He also made some sweet potatoes with spinach. He enjoyed cooking, but entertaining was his specialty. About the time lunch was finished there was a knock on the door. "I'll get it darling." Elizabeth yelled.

"Thank you!" He responded.

"Mother, Father, Julie!" She said with excitement as she hugged each of them. "Aunt Agatha I am so happy to see you all. You made it just in time for lunch. I will let Lucas know you are here."

"Elizabeth, you have done mighty nice for yourself. I never took you for one to marry for money."

"Mother! That is not true. Lucas is so much more. He is kind, tenderhearted, patient, and did I say gorgeous. Please give him a chance."

"How gorgeous can he be?" Julie teased. Most men with money are usually lacking in that department. "Elizabeth, you remember Maia."

"Of course. Welcome to our home."

It wasn't long before Lucas came walking out with his oven mits on. "Oh, my goodness, Elizabeth who is that!" Julie and Maia both said simultaneously. "Is that your cook?"

"No Julie this is my fiancé, Lucas!" Elizabeth introduced.

Lucas pulled off his mits and sat them on the table then with the wave of his hands he pulled out five yellow roses. Giving each lady a rose and a kiss on the hand. "It is wonderful to meet you all. I am Lucas Bouchard. William." He nodded.

"Lucas, I had no idea you were seeing my daughter." William questioned. "I don't recall you ever mentioning it to me."

"Actually sir, I met Elizabeth right after your last dinner party, and she stole my heart. We never looked back. She is the love of my life, and I am going to do everything I can to give her the life she wants." Lucas looked at Elizabeth with a smile.

Maia stepped in front of all of them." I am Maia Ingram Julie's best friend. It is so nice to meet you. Your home is gorgeous."

"Down girl!" Julie grabbed her and pulled her back. "That is my sister's fiancé. Don't embarrass me or I'll send you back home."

"Thank you! Elizabeth why don't you show them to their rooms and lunch will be served in the dining room in fifteen minutes."

"I would love too darling." She said giving him a sweet kiss as she directed them up the stairs.

"Elizabeth your fiancé is so fine. Does he have a brother?" Maia asked.

"No, I'm afraid not and I know he is perfect in every way." Elizabeth's eyes turned Mooney.

"Elizabeth? How could you have kept this man a secret for seven months?" Julie asked sadness in her voice. "You always tell me everything."

"It wasn't really a secret; we are just so busy. Lucas has three clubs and spends a lot of time at the children's hospital and I have been busy with school." She explained. "I will see you guys downstairs in fifteen minutes."

Lunch was on the table. Lucas had spilled on his outfit and needed to shower and change. He walked through Elizabeth's room to let her know what he had done and said he would be down in a few. He lay his clothes out on the bed and headed to the shower knowing he had to be quick. He had just finished up wrapping a towel around his waist and walking over to his bed where his clothes were laid out. He had just leaned over to pick up his boxers when the door came flying open.

Lucas jumped in embarrassment holding onto the towel tightly. "Oh my! I am so sorry. I thought this was the library Elizabeth told us about. "Maia giggled.

"No. That is across the hall. If you will excuse me." Lucas said as Elizabeth came walking in. "What is going on in here?" Elizabeth asked her eyes beginning to form tears. Before he could explain anything, she had run out of the room slamming the door.
