Chapter 11:

"And your homecoming duchess is….Karen Beecher!" The announcer's voice echoes through the stadium. Applause resonates around the stadium, Bee holds her hands over her mouth and squeals. Vic stands next to her side, a proud smile on his face. He presses a kiss on her forehead. Principal Wilson turns around with a bouquet full of yellow tulips. Her favorite. She composes herself and struts to the front. He hands her the flowers and places a beautiful diamond crown on her head. Karen cups her hand and waves a princess wave. A tulip falls from the bouquet and onto the ground. She picks it up and looks out to the crowd again only to find…angry faces staring back at her.

Not just any angry faces…her best friend's angry faces. Dick, Wally, Jinx, Gar, Rachel, and Kory. "Boo!" They yell out, Bee steps back and turns around to see Herald instead of Vic behind her. He holds a bloody knife in his hand, his smile crooked. Bee snaps her eyes down to see Vic with a fresh wound on his back. She gasps, "What the hell did you do?" Herald chuckles, it's dry and cold. "You mean what did we do, Honey Bee?" He points to her. She gazes down to see blood all over her gold dress, Bee tries to shake it off only for the blood to spread. "We stabbed him in the back, his blood is on your hands now," Herald bellows. "No, no-I didn't mean to-Vic. Vic!" Someone taps on her shoulder, Bee swivels around to see Kitten wearing a crown and tulips in her hand. Her crown. "You made your grave and now you have to lie in it," She cackles and gives Bee a hard shove. Bee stumbles back, and tumbles down, down, down into a deep dirt grave. "Wait, please! Please help me!" Her friends are at the top, their faces hollow as they look down at her. Kitten grabs a shovel and begins to shovel dirt crumbs onto her. "Stop, stop please!" No one hears her, the dirt piles higher and higher. She sinks into…

…Bee wakes up with a sharp exhale of her breath. She blinks a couple of times to see her room before her. Stuffed animals are still in place on the shelf and pictures of all her friends are stapled to the wall. Everything's normal again. A sharp ping comes from her computer, she sees a notification from The Hive's Webpage, and her heart sinks. She stumbles out of bed and walks over to the computer, then clicks on it to find…another secret that only she and her friends knew to come to light. Wally's.

The Hive: Hear ye! Hear ye! Queen Bee has made yet another proclamation! Wallace West or my new name for him, The Speedster, had bought Adderall from an unknown source this past summer. Why is this important, you might ask? Well, the Adderall caused our Speedster to have a couple of…problems. Problems in bed that is. Looks like our Speedster isn't the Ladies Man he claims to be, matter of fact, he's the exact opposite. Queen Bee herself told me that he came to her for help on this little problem. He asked her to go buy him a bottle of the good stuff before going to one of his nightly rendezvous. She did. You're such a good friend Bee. And Speedster, might I recommend rehab and a doctor? I have some sources to help you out. There's plenty more where that came from, thanks, Bee.

Ciao,

The Hive.

"Arghh!" Bee slaps down her laptop, a tear falls down her face. She needs to find her phone and fast before her secret is exposed and her life as she knows it as comes crashing down.

Whispers.

Eyes on her.

Bee struts down the hallway, she passes by a couple of groups as she makes her way to her locker. "Can you believe she did that to Wally?" "I'm not surprised, I always knew she was a bitch deep down," "I'm scared to talk to her," Bee shakes her head and continues on. She makes her way to her locker, and Vic stands next to it. His face twisted in concern. Great. "Bee, what the hell?" Bee sighs "I didn't send that," "Then how come The Hive said it was sent from your phone? Wally's not allowed to leave his house, nor does he want to, thanks to you," Bee pops open her locker and puts her purse inside.

"And did you know Kory hasn't shown up for a class today? I heard some kids say a couple of nasty things about her," She grabs two of her textbooks out. "Seriously?" "Yeah Wally's parents saw the blast and are doing a series of drug tests on him, the coach is talking about kicking him off the team. Dick and I have to go talk him out of it. Jinx is gonna try to talk to Kory later today, ``''Look, I lost my phone, someone managed to hack into it and blast everything out. You know I'd never do that to him. I have to find out who has it," Vic lays a gentle hand on her shoulder. "We have to find out who has it, I'm here to help you," She smiles, though guilt thumps in the back of her mind. "At least one person still likes me," She closes her locker and takes Vic's hand. They walk hand and hand down the hallway, whispers still present each step of the way.

"Unbelievable," Dick growled under his breath as he stared at a text from Bruce stating that he was needed at home after football practice. He slammed the locker door, only to be met with a busty brunette behind. Her lips pursed and false eyelashes batted. "Hey there Dick," She smiled. Dick resisted the urge not to roll his eyes under his sunglasses. "Hi...Beth was it?" He scratched his head, in the back of his mind he couldn't think about her name, Beth, Bridgette. Brenda? He knew it was a b name, but in all honesty, a name far from hers lingered on his mind. "Beverly" "Ah right, what's up?" He asked her. Beverly licked her lips and smirked, she plucked a strand from her peaking cleavage. "What are your plans like for today? I was thinking that maybe we could—" "—I have plans after school, maybe some other time," He shrugged. Her smile falters and she clears her throat. "What about tomorrow—" "—I'll think about it, that's the best I could offer" He gives her a two-finger salute and leaves.

Beverly humphs and stamps her foot, then walks away. As he strolls, he notices Rachel come out of the restroom. She pulls down her cardigan sleeve to cover up a red spot. He raises his eyebrow, "Rachel?" She stops in her tracks as if she's a deer in headlights. "H-Hey Dick, how's it going—" "—Are you sick or something?" "No, why do you ask?" "You have something red on your—" "—Oh that? I got an allergic reaction to this makeup foundation I tried the other day," He squinted his eyes through his sunglasses, for as long as he knew Rachel, she NEVER wore makeup. Like ever. That's something he'd have to note. "Right, well be more careful next time," "Please that was a one-and-done thing, I'm never doing that again." She situated her bag on her shoulder. "What's up with you? I heard about the stuff with Bee and Kory—" "I don't care about that" he growled. She blinked a couple of times, then brought a finger to her chin. "Interesting, very interesting" "Rachel, no psychoanalysis today, please. I'm almost late for science and you know how Dr. Light is," She holds her hands up in defense.

"Hey, I'm just making an observation," "Ew ladies, guess what I just spotted? A gothic freak!" Dick and Rachel heard a shrill voice, the wicked bitch of the west has arrived on her broomstick. Kitten. She stood on the other side of the hallway. Her blue eyes gleamed under the light, she observed Rachel once more. "Nice to see you too, Kitten" Rachel groaned. Kitten rolled her eyes and folded her arms, her posse followed the exact same motions. "Um, like who gave you permission to speak to Kitten?" One of them said, "Yeah, she's like totally higher in popularity than you are!" "Now wait just a minute" Dick spoke up. "What the hell do you want Kitten," Kitten brought her manicured finger to her glossy lips and smiled. "You, on a silver platter" Rachel and Dick almost gag. "That's not gonna happen, ever" he mocked.

"Trust me, Dick, you'll be my boyfriend sooner or later. It'll only be a matter of time," "Whatever Kitten," Dick rolled his eyes again. Kitten smirked, and Rachel noticed a change in her body language. She was more confident and prideful as if she has a secret that they don't know about. Rachel turned to Dick and noticed a difference in his stature as well, there was something off about him. What the hell was in the water at this godforsaken prison they called a school. "I think you should be a little nicer to me Dick, never know what karma has in store for you," Kitten purred. "I'm not hearing this bull crap anymore, I have a frog that needs me to cut it open," He begins to stall away, then stops in his tracks and turns to Kitten.

"Though if you ask me, the frog's getting the better end of the deal. See you, Rach," They wave goodbye to each other. Rachel heads down to another hallway, but a manicured hand stops her in her tracks. "Not so fast goth freak," She hisses as Kitten presses down on the pain, a bruise reveals itself under her cardigan. Rachel brushes Kitten's hand off "Get off me" Kitten rubs her two fingers together, and glitter falls. Rachel gulps as the glitter makes its way to the floor. Kitten quirks up her eyebrow and squints at Rachel. "Since when do you wear body glitter, last I checked the only two people who could make body glitter a thing was Kesha and strippers," "I don't have to explain anything to you, Kitten, in case you forgot. We're not friends," "You and Dick Grayson are, which makes me wonder when I find out your little secret, how much you'd be willing to keep it and him as a friend," Rachel rolled her eyes, Kitten failed biology. Twice. As if she could figure out what Rachel did behind closed doors. "Uh huh, let me know how that works out for you," Rachel flipped her off then turned around and headed to class. Kitten glanced at the traces of glitter on her fingertips again, she squinted harder then back up at Rachel.

Gar leaned against the wall outside of the cafeteria, he checked his watch. Still no sign of Vic anywhere. "Come on Vic, losing valuable time here" He groaned as he glanced around the hallway. He heard the sound of footsteps echo down the hallway, Gar glances up to see Vic give a kiss to Bee and wave her goodbye. Vic turns from his enamored gaze over to Gar and gives him a nod. "Hey, you waited long?" Vic takes out his laptop from his backpack, Gar shrugs his shoulders. "Not long, only half the lunch hour that's it," Vic looks at him with concern "Really?" Gar lets out a hearty laugh, and Vic soon follows. "I forgot how easy it was to fool you, I still got it" Vic rolled his eyes and nudged him playfully. "Yeah right, string bean. Still can't make me believe in ghosts," They laughed again. Vic cracked open his laptop and pulled up software. "Alright, so this is how much I could find about your girl Tara," A picture of Tara's school picture popped up on the screen, her eyes hollow and smile short.

Gar squinted harder at the photo, her smile didn't reach her eyes. "Woah, from Russia," Vic continued to type. "Hmm, seems like she has a brother and she stays with her uncle," "What's the uncle's address?" Vic scrolled "Live's downtown at an apartment complex," Gar shimmied his phone out of his pocket and snapped a picture. "We could head there after school—" "We can't do anything, I have football practice tonight and I have to talk to Bee about when we should start campaigning," Vic continues to type, and Gar nods. "Right, that was dumb of me to ask you" Gar sighed and rubbed his hand behind his neck. Vic squinted at the screen "Looks like she also has a brother," He clicks. "He's in the military though, probably not a good lead," Vic continued to type on the laptop. "So how's it been with you and Bee?"

"It's been good, I guess" He trails off and Gar raises his eyebrow "I feel a but coming along" He glances at Gar "Not that it's any of your business, but I feel like something's off with her latest" "What do you mean?" "Well for one I could never reach her sometimes and when I text her, she replies with a talk later, busy doing homework or practicing cheers," Gar chuckles under his breath "What?" "I mean this is Karen Beecher we're talking about, the girl who strived to be line leader in third grade and went as far as to make cupcakes, cupcakes, just to lead a line of snot-nosed kids," They laugh. "I forgot about that, she used to tell people that in order to be a princess one must achieve perfect grades, a perfect attitude, and a perfect smile," Gar nudges Vic's shoulder and grins, "I wouldn't worry about Bee, she's always been in her own world and sometimes, she gets stuck there." Vic chuckles. "Thanks, Gar," He holds out his fist and Gar bumps it.

The Hive: "Aww looks like my favorite bromance is rising from the ashes, how sweet. My only question is how long it'll be before they officially kiss and make up?"

Jinx lays her back against the locker doors and raises her eyebrow at Bee. Bee shimmies on her cheerleading practice top over her sports bra, not realizing that eyes shift to her every now and then. She glances over at Jinx "Don't give me that look, I didn't send that text about Kory or Wally" Her palms itched, she rubbed the inside of them with her chalked fingertips. Her phone was nowhere in sight and as the day rolled on, more secrets were bound to come out. Thanks to her. "But you had it on your phone and you knew about it. I know that much, what were you planning on doing with that information about her?" "How did you figure that out? With one of your after-school Adderall sessions with Wally," Bee whispered. Jinx's eyes widened "Yeah, I remember he bragged to Vic one time about scoring second base with a chick. He wouldn't tell him the name, then I remembered that you missed practice because of a headache that you got from this new medication you were taking. Doesn't take a genius to figure out what happened," She sighed to herself and crouched down to tie her shoelaces.

"It was a one-time thing, I was-was already high from that blunt I smoked earlier and—" "You didn't have the balls to tell me? Your best friend—"Ping! Her heart sank, she reluctantly glanced up and saw a cheerleader check her phone. Bee observed her actions, are her eyes gonna grow wide as saucers or did her mouth drop, or a gasp escape her lips? The cheerleader shrugged and shoved her phone back into her bag. Thank god, Bee thought to herself. "Like you couldn't tell me about what you found out about Kory? We could've handled it together, she's a friend of ours and I'm not gonna let what happened to her happen to—" Bee shoved her hand over Jinx's mouth and shook her head.

Bee glanced around to make sure the coast was clear, the cheerleaders were in their own world gearing up for practice. "Take your hand off me," Jinx seethed and slapped her wrist down. "I'm sorry, it's just that we can't let any more secrets get out today. It's bad enough Wally's on the chopping block who's next? Us?" "PHHHH!" The sound of the whistleblowing rang through the locker room. Brooke removed the silver piece from her mouth and sported a frown. Oh, shi— "Ladies, it's come to my attention that we haven't been acting like spirit leaders or teammates these past couple of weeks," Her blue eyes dart straight to Bee, she gulps and Brooke looks away. "So this is what's gonna happen. Cheerleaders are no longer allowed to dally with the press, that includes The Hive. Coach and I will be doing daily social media checks to make sure no rumors or negative things are spread. Anything involving 'Beef' with a teammate is to be straightened out immediately between each other or with the team captain. If any of these rules and regulations are disrespected, action will be taken."

Brooke pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes. "This is a cheer-ocracy. Mine. I don't give a shit if someone stole the other girl's bf. Grow up for crying out loud," Brooke brings the whistle to her lips and blows into it. "PHHHHH" a sharp whistle stings through their ears. "I need five laps around the football field, followed by fifty pushups and ten wind sprints. If I see one of you throw up on the field, that's ten more pushups." She clapped her hands together "Move your asses now!" The cheerleaders shuffle out of the room, and Jinx and Bee follow, only for Bee to trip over something and fall to the ground with a loud smack. A snobby laugh cackles, ugh Kitten. "Yikes Bee looks like you're full of mistakes today," Kitten steps over her and heads for the door. "How about my foot meets your ass Kitten, then we'll see about tripping someone" Jinx heads towards Kitten. "Jinx, Kitten retract those claws unless you both want to run bleachers for the next hour," Brooke sneered. Kitten stuck her tongue out at Jinx and then skipped away, Jinx rolls her eyes and turns to help Bee off the ground. Brooke struts over to the "Bee, can I have a word with you?" Bee's heart sinks, though she nods through a constant loud drum of her heart.

Bee sits down on a bench outside of the girls' locker room, Brooke rummages through her backpack and pulls out her phone. She scrolls through the messages found on The Hive's website. "Wow seems like Queen Bee has turned to a whole other side of backstabbing, what a bitch." "Yes, wonder who's next?" Brooke shuts her phone off. "Brooke, I know you are mad but you have to believe me when I say that I didn't send those messages about my friends," "They came from your phone," "Someone has it, I've been looking for it all day and nothing" Brooke sighed and shoves her phone in her backpack. "Bee, with homecoming approaching this semester. Not to mention us getting ready for pep rallies, playoffs, and competition. The team can't afford another 'pregnancy scare'."

"Brooke, trust me I know. I never intended to expose anyone, that would damage the squad's reputation. As well as mine for that matter," Brooke gets up from her seat. "Bee I still have the slightest hope for you to be junior captain. However, if I find you in any more drama. I have no choice but to kick you off the squad" Tears prick Bee's eyes. "I don't want that to happen, Brooke," Brooke shrugs on her backpack and tightens her ponytail. "You're dismissed," Bee nods and heads for the football field. Brooke watches as she leaves, a prominent frown on her face.

"You're kidding, she posted that about you?" Kory brushed through her curls as she talked to Donna on facetime. "Yeah, now the whole school knows another part of my past that I never wanted to get out," "Grrr, that was such a bitch move and I thought you guys were friends," "Me too," Kory stared at the mirror, her eyes were puffy and had bags under them as if she hadn't slept a wink. She didn't. "What I don't understand is this, she's cheating on your friend Vic with some band guy and then basically threatens you not to tell anyone cause it's breaking girl code. I'd say you should send the tip to the Hive about the rendezvous for a taste of her own medicine." She grabs a hair tie off the nightstand and ties her lion's mane of hair into a messy bun. The bun falls to the side, and Kory groans in frustration. "I'm not like that Donna, you know that."

Donna applied lipgloss on her lips and rubbed her lips together "The way these self-absorbed people move at this school and backstab each other, you should. Apparently no one's safe," "True, but I'd never forgive myself if I ever told the Hive and not Vic himself," She tried to gather her hair into a ponytail again, only for her nails to get tangled into the little strands. "Guess it's gonna be a hair down kind of day. What do you think I should do?" "That's not my decision to make, you have to ask yourself where your loyalties lie," An inaudible voice could be heard on the other line. "I'm coming Mom!" Donna turns back to the camera "Sorry Kor, I gotta go. Mom's taking us to the farmer's market," "I miss you Donna'' Kory smiles and Donna smiles back. "I know, but promise me that you won't let those spoiled brats ruin your life, Kory. You finally have a normal one, enjoy it '' Kory nods. Donna blows her a kiss and shuts off the FaceTime. Kory sighs to herself, then takes a look back into the mirror. She takes another breath and takes her phone off the dresser. She taps away at it, the message sends with a loud swoosh.

Rachel sits outside under the tree in the courtyard, rubbing away at her new bruise with icy hot. "Rachel?" A familiar voice quips and causes her heart to skip a beat. She turns around to see Gar staring at her bruise, his green eyes no longer present. Instead, they're replaced by a dark, cold black steel gaze and it scares the daylights out of Rachel. "What's that on your arm?" His voice dripped with anger. "I-I was cooking something on the stove and burned my arm, that's all," Gar sat down next to her. Rachel gulps at how close he is to her, she could practically smell him. He smelled like he'd been in a zoo all day and the smell wasn't pleasant. "Tell me the truth," He met her gaze, the tears pricked her eyes, her breaths became ragged and her mouth dry. All she could do to answer was lick her dry lips, "Who's doing this to you, Rachel?" She wanted to tell him so badly about the constant hitting from her father and the nights she'd cry herself to sleep. How she wore cardigans in the hot, summer sun to mask a fresh bruise that decorated her skin and that she never wore a swimsuit in her life because her legs told too many stories.

Stories that she'd have to continue to cover up with lies. "I-I told you, I burned my arm on the stove" She squeaked out. He let out a dry grunt, she staggered back. "You're lying, I see the makeup stains on your clothes and the-the worn-out cardigan, who hurts you?" Rachel closed her eyes and sucked in a breath. "I told you no one, please stop asking," He gets up from his spot "Why can't you tell me?" She boiled with anger, who was he to start asking her questions and make her feel uncomfortable. She brushed her hands at the grass blades and grabbed a fistful of the earth beneath her.

"Rachel, if you don't tell me then I have to tell a teacher about this" That threw her over the edge. "How fucking dare you?" She seethed. Rachel noticed that when she said that, Gar flinched. "I told you that I burned it on the stove and to be honest, it's none of your fucking business—" "—But Rachel—" She gets up from her spot under the tree and gets in Gar's face. So close she could see the freckles that decorated his face and the gold flecks in his green eyes. Their faces mere centimeters from each other, she could hear his heart beat fast. "—I'm not finished, you have no right to ask me about what's going on," She brought her finger to his scrawny chest and shoved him back a bit. "No right to get all in my business" Shove again.

"No right to come up and threaten me with a teacher," Shove. "You're not my knight in shining armor," Shove. "Not my boyfriend," She grabs a hold of his shoulders. "Not my friend," and pushes him with a harsh shove. He staggers back a bit, Rachel pushes past him and shrugs her cardigan back on. "I'm sorry that I'm only trying to help you, cause in case you haven't noticed I'm the only one that cares' ' He shouted. Rachel stops in her tracks, she clenches her fist, and takes another breath. "Gar, I'm warning you now," She turns around to him, they're now feet away from each other. He stares at her, a tinge of hope behind his gaze and she wouldn't let him have that.

"You need to leave this alone," She turns back around and heads to the doors. Gar starts to run after her but stops himself. Rachel opens the doors and lets the tears that she's been holding unto for so long fall. The icy-hot sent a chill down her spine, she cried harder. The sound of footsteps could be heard down the hallway, Rachel quickly wiped them away and sniffled. Gar kicked the turf outside and groaned. Rachel turned her head slightly, she could catch a glimpse of him with his head hung low. "I'm sorry Gar," She whispered.

"Come on Bee, she won't kick you off the team. You are one of the best people on the squad," Vic rubbed Bee's back as she laid her head on his shoulder. They sat at their usual lunch table in the crowded lunch room. A couple of people passed by and pierced Bee with daggers for eyes. She wanted to crawl under a rock and die. Jinx approached the table with a chocolate cake next to her healthy lunch: a chili dog and fries. "Bee, I know Brooke threatened to take away your spot on the squad, but let's be honest here. She can't do it unless she wants to risk another national championship. You're one of the top bitches on that squad," Jinx takes the cake off her tray and hands it to Bee. "Here, I managed to snag you a piece of cake" Bee pushes the cake back. "It's a Tuesday and you know I only have my carbs on Saturdays, also this has way too many calories in it," She weeps.

Jinx rolls her eyes "A thanks would have been nice," "I'm sorry Jinx, it's just been a shit hole for a day," Bee wiped at her face. Dick takes his seat next to Jinx and sighs, "Any luck?" Vic asks as he puts an arm around Bee. "Nope, I tried to get in touch with Barry and it's pretty bad. They're talking about a Scared Straight program," "Oh my god, with Wally's skinny body. He'd be somebody's bitch at the end of the week," Jinx stated before she took a chomp out of her chili dog. The three stared at her with wide eyes, "What? I'm only stating what we were all thinking," Bee groans and buries her face in her hands. "It's all my fault, I should have deleted those texts off my phone," "Bee you didn't know your phone was gonna be stolen, it's not your fault" Vic takes his laptop out of his backpack and cracks it open. He starts to type something in, Bee raises her eyebrow. "What're you doing babe?" "I don't know why I didn't think of this before, we could track your phone. Whatever address it's at, we could track the perpetrator down" Bee squared with excitement and kissed Vic's head. "I'm so happy to have a smart and cute boyfriend" She kisses his cheek.

"I'm trying to eat here," "Yeah ditto," Vic's computer pings. "That's weird I got a text from Kory, she said she needs to talk to me," Bee's heart sinks. She gulps and fidgets with the collar on his shirt, "Really? About what?" "Beats me, I'll call her later," "You could come with me after cheer practice, I'm heading to her house to cheer her up," "She has a boyfriend who could cheer her up," Dick mutters. Bee glances between the three, small beads of sweat prick her forehead. "Dick, the least you could do is be her friend. You act as if she cheated on you or something," "Jinx is right dude, you've been giving Kory a lot of grief" Dick pushed the sunglasses forward on his face and grunted.

"Are you gonna come with us Bee, I think it'd be a great way to apologize to Kory," Dick rose his head from his food. "Yeah, how did you get that video of her anyway?" Bee swallowed, her throat was suddenly dry. "I-I—" Ping! "Bingo! Found it," They all got up from their seats and crowded around Vic's laptop. "That's strange it says that it's in the cafeteria," "Which means anyone could have it," Bee sighs "Why don't we send it a text? Or call it?" "Girl, have you seen how many people are in the cafeteria, in order for us to do that we'd have to silence them all and the only way we could do that is if we had something that grabbed their attention," Vic explained. "Wally would know what to do," Dick sighed.

It's as though their prayers were answered, voices started to quiet down and the sound of loud steps could be heard. Kory appears from the crowd like a fish out of water, she rubs her elbow with her other arm as she emerges. Whispers start to rise and all eyes were on her. "That could work, Jinx call the phone," Vic demands, Jinx nods and starts to dial. Dick and Bee watch Kory leave the crowd and spot the group, she walks over to them. "Greetings—" She stops herself as the ringtone of "Best Friend" By Doja Cat rings through the cafeteria. Bee stands up from her seat at the table and scans the room, her eyes landing on Kitten who digs through her bag to shut off the phone. "Uh-oh," Dick whispers as Bee makes a beeline for the blonde. Kitten glances up from her Prada backpack and spots Bee coming toward her. She gets up from her seat to make a run for it, only for the phone to fall out of her pocket.

"You skank bitch!" Bee snatches her phone off the ground and searches through it. Jinx follows behind her "Why the hell do you have Bee's phone?" Everyone's eyes moved to her now "I found it on the floor, I was gonna return it to you Bee after I found it—" "—I'm so sick of your lying ass—"She lunges for Kitten only to be pulled back by Jinx. "—Bee, we have an audience," Vic whispers. Bee glances at the crowd that forms around them, Kitten gathers her things. "I wasn't trying to keep the phone a secret from you Bee, you should know that" Kitten snaps at her posse, they get up from their untouched food and follow her as she walks to the door. Bee growls and storms off, "Bee where are you going?" Bee doesn't answer and shives the door open with a loud swoosh. The students that were prepared for a showdown returned back to their conversations. Jinx and Vic stroll back over to the table, she spots Kory standing far away from Dick, who's laid against the table. "Should we go after her?" Dick asked. Vic shook his head "No when she's in angry mode. It's best that we let her cool off," "I agree with Vic, Bee just needs to be alone right now," They take their seats back at the table. Kory glances at the doors Bee stormed out of. "You wanna join us, Kor?" She moves her gaze back to them, her eyes meet Vic's. "I think I'll go sit with Gar today, I think he needs me," She swallowed down the lump that was in her throat and left the table.

Bee darts towards Kitten and her posse, "Trouble at 12 O'clock, Kitten" one of her followers' whispers. Kitten snaps around and rolls her eyes "I'm really not in the mood to pull each other's hair and slap faces, one of us has to look pretty throughout their cheerleading career," "Screw that, why the hell did you do that to me, Kitten? How could you? Are you really that much of a bitch to bring me down like that," Bee seethed. The two stared each other down, brown against the blue. Kitten looks her up and down, then grins. She snaps at her posse, they stand tall with smirks on their faces as well. "Scatter, but don't scatter too far. I don't know what this psycho could do to me. Keep your phones on you and stay 12 feet away from us," She snaps again, the group disperses and once they're within a safe distance, Kitten clears her throat.

"I know it was you that sent out the tip to The Hive about my one-time rendezvous with Mr. Mod," Bee blinks a couple of times "What? Cat got your tongue?" "I—It was an accident, I never meant to send that. I think I had too much to drink and—," "—Whatever everyone thinks you're little Miss Perfect. You're a part of the group everyone wants to be in and you have one of the hottest guys in school. Too bad that's all about to come to an end," Kitten fixes a couple of her hair strands out of her face. Bee folds her arms, "What's that supposed to mean?" She checks her nails and takes a seat on a nearby bench. "Let's just say I have a lot more secrets of yours in my pocket, one that stands out the most to me though…" Bee gulps, she knows exactly which texts she's talking about. "…Texts between a certain band member and a cheerleader, who's cheating on her starting wide-receiver bf. My my, I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news," She makes a fake pouty lip. "You can't," Bee squeaked. "I will," Bee bit her lip down "Please Kitten, I will do anything to keep that from getting out," "Though you might say that," Kitten stands up from her seat and takes out her phone. "I want you to retract from running for Homecoming Duchess, you do that and I'll make sure that no one finds out your secret," "Kitten, anything but that. I worked so hard for it—" "—I don't care. It's funny how you don't even care about your two bf's but instead your status at this school. I gotta say, you're worse than I am," She grins. Bee shakes her head "I'm nothing like you, I will never be like you,"

"All those secrets beg to differ, I wonder what your wide receiver would say if he found out his queen was cheating on him with another man. Or tell your band geek that you'd rather die than have a relationship with him and give up the crown, boo fucking hoo," Kitten shrugs her Prada backpack on her shoulders and smiles at Bee, it's so sweet it nearly made her teeth rot on the spot. "Tell you what, I'll give you a couple of days to come up with a retraction statement, explain to voters about why you're leaving. Then once I see proof that you've left the race, I'll delete all the evidence I have against you," She struts off leaving Bee to stare after her, her body shakes. She wants to scream out and lunge for Kitten, though the only problem is that her high school career is already hanging by a thread. Anything that could get her suspended or kicked off the team will cause her to plummet down the social ladder; and for once, she couldn't do anything to keep that from happening.

The Hive: "Spotted: Queen Bee left with no choice but to step down from her awaited throne. It's too bad, we all wanted the chance to see Kitten and Bee throwdown, but I guess that's not gonna happen. Not until later, perhaps. The score's now Bee 0 and Kitten - 3. Wonder who's gonna win this war? My money's on the new girl, Kory Anders. Word has it that Kory's got a lot to tell and her friendship with Queen Bee, can only keep her holding it in for so long. You know what they say, two can't keep a secret unless one of them is dead. See you soon - The Hive.

Alright! I very long awaited chapter! Sorry everyone, it's been a hectic semester but I'm finally done! I have great news, I'm extending this story a bit for Season 1/Book 1 because I just realized that this is only the first semester and I want the books to go through the whole year. What I have planned you definitely do not want to miss the final chapters of this book, it's gonna go out with a-nevermind. I've said too much already. Also, I know I make Bee seem like such a crummy character, but trust me there's more to the story and you'll just have to wait and see how her storyline thickens. A bunch of secrets are about to drop as the chapters come out, I may have this book end with 20 chapters. Maybe. I'm still working out the kinks lol.

Thanks!
