She have been searching for him for god knows how long. Ever since he broke into their house, she have been pursuing him to end his life. She still remembers the day she saw him, the day her husband was taken from her. Ever since the robbery, she was given the photo of him, and have been looking up about him to find him. She had lost her friends during the search because they think it is pointless, but she doesn't care. She finally manage to find him, and had only until tomorrow morning to make it there before he moves. She kept on driving through the forest, looking at the photo given to her. She felt somewhat joy from it, finally killing her husband killer. But then the car sputtered and stop at the road. She looked at it with anger, seeing that she is out of gas. She can't be stopped now. She only get this one chance to get him. So she got out of the car with a canister and walk out to find some gas for her car. During her search, she saw a orphanage with a garage where there is a gas fueled generator in it. She needed that gas badly, but she saw that there were kids, along with their caretaker with them. She don't have time to ask for some gas, so while the occupants were at the dining room, she snuck into garage, and began to drain the generator into her canister. It was almost full, until the power in the orphanage shut down, due to the generator being linked to the orphanage due to the snow storm cutting the power line. She ignored the power being cut off, until she heard a cough behind her. She turn around to see a kid looking at her. They kept looking at each other until the caretaker came to the kid side. He saw that she was taking the fuel from his generator so he told the kid to go back in the house, and he'll take care of her. When the child went back into the house, the caretaker split up a cigarette, smoked it, and told her two choices. She can either leave the canister and they pretend that nothing happened, or she will leave with bruises. She thought about it for a moment, then tried to run past him, only for the canister to get grabbed by the caretaker. They fought over the canister, only for her to overpower him, and ran into the house. The caretaker got scared, because the kids are in there so he went after her. When she got into the house, she ran through it spilling some of the gasoline from her canister. She ran to the living room, and saw the kids huddled together being scared. She tried to calm them down, only to get hit in the back of the head by a large candle. She fell to the ground, dropping the canister. The caretaker ran towards the kids to make sure that if they are ok. The caretaker told one of the kids, to get one of other canisters of gasoline to him, so that she may leave without any more trouble. The kid then went out to find another canister for her, while she lied there. She remember that she is in the same position as the man broke into her house, took her down, and stabbed her husband in the heart. She remember her husband grabbing her hand one last time before passing away. She remembered the man putting his hand over his mouth, laughing at their misfortune. The kid came back with the canister, and the caretaker took it from him to give it to her. Before he could say anything, she jumped up and ran towards her with the intend to take the canister from him. He fell back surprised, only to drop his cigarette onto the gas soaked floor. Then there was a white flash, and everyone was knocked down to the ground. She woke up to see that the man was knocked out, and the children were trying to wake him up. She didn't care about them, so she grabbed the canister, and ran out of the house. She saw that a man with a fish mask on noticed the burning house, and ran towards in there to rescue his friend and the kids. She doesn't care about them or anyone. She ran back to her car, open the fuel cap, and started to pour the gasoline in it. After messily putting the fuel in, she went into her car, turned the ignition, and the car finally started. She smiled with glee, and looked into her map, look over the address one more time to make sure that she is in the right track. She looked at the photo given to her to see what he looks like. She then stopped what she was doing, because she noticed that the photo is ripped revealing the mirror showing her eyes. She saw that her eyes had the same murderous look as the man. She then thought about what she was doing and what she had done. She then thought about her husband and how would he react if he saw what she was doing. Then she thought about what she had done to the man and the children leaving them for dead. She then cried not felt the grieve of her husband, but for what she had done to get this far. She then pulled out her phone, dialed the police, walked out of the car, and back to the burning house. She only told the police about the fire breaking out in the house, and the police told them that they will be there soon. They hanged up, and walked out only to see that the kids along with the men outside of the house. She was shocked that they managed to get out of there alive. She then sat down on the side of the road and waited for the police to come so that she will explain what happen. The man in the fish mask looked at her then told the caretaker and the children something. They all were against it at first, but after some talking, they agreed with him. She was confused about what they were talking about, then saw the man in the fish mask walking up to her, and sitting next to her. Then he spoke to her. "I know why you are here in this area. Just know that I wanted to take some jewelry, not lives. I have lived with shame and regret. I did not meant it to take his life. I have cried when I realized what I have done to him. I was on a dark path that time, and taking care of these kids are my redemption. So please let me take the blame, for you don't deserve to rot in a cell. Only I deserved it. So please, take care of these children as your own." After saying that, he took off his mask, and revealed to her that he was the man she was after. She then thought about the night, when her husband fought him. He look like he doesn't want to fight him and at that time when he put his hand over his mouth, he was crying instead of laughing. If what he said was true, then he was the same as her. They both were forced to do dark deeds for their own gain. He robs people of their belongings for survival and she nearly rob people of their lives to get him. They then heard sirens heading towards them, so the man walked up to his friend. His friend and the children hugged him one last time, the he knocked him out with a punch to the face. Everything after that was a blur, to seeing him getting put into a police car, to seeing him being guilty of arson, to being the new caretaker of the orphanage. At some time, she thought that if she really deserved this fate. Then she thought about the man's guilt for killing her husband. If what he said is true about living with the guilt and taking care of kids as a form of redemption, the she could forgive him. He managed to save her from going to a dark path just like him, and manage to find her a new purpose. She still misses her husband, but she managed to move on, and accepted her fate. The same child who saw her came up to her to give her a drawing she made. The cat lady looked at the drawing and thanked the child for it. Then they went out of the study room when Morrace called out that dinner is ready. She and Morrace, along with the kids made amends when he learned about her tragic story. They all went to the dining room, leaving the drawing in the study room. It depicts of all of the children, along with Morrace named Uncle Morrace, the housewife as Auntie, and the man with fish mask named Carp.

That is the end of Fuelled (My Version). I hope you like it. When I saw the short film, I thought about giving her a somewhat happy ending. If you don't get the reference of the orphanage, Morrace and the man with the fish mask, you can look them up in the Lisa the Painful wiki. So with that, I hope you enjoy this short fanfic.
