This is my first songfic I ever wrote. Or better: one-shot. I really tried my best. I hope you guys like it.
If you do or don't than please review and tell me what you think.
Oh, and don't expect to much because I wrote it during the last half an hour. Well, it was a try.
Love,

"Because Of You"
The hall was dark. No lights were turned on to asses the secrets of darkness. Although the hall was crowded with students no sound was to be heard.
Each and everyone of them was looking forward to the next act that would start on the stage soon.
It was the annual Hogwarts Get Together where every student was invited to sing or dance.
Suddenly, the first accords of a piano could be heard and a soft voice was humming and soon the first words were echoing through the hall:
I will not make the same mistakes that you did
I will not let myself
Cause my heart so much misery
I will not break the way you did,
You fell so hard
I've learned the hard way
To never let it get that far
Soon the voice got more intense and a few lights started to enlighten the stage.
Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid
Floating candles now enlightened the hall fully. On the stage was a girl with dark red hair and bright shining green eyes. Everyone who stood near the stage saw the pain in those brilliant orbs and knew that this song was coming from her heart.
I lose my way
And it's not too long before you point it out
I cannot cry
Because I know that's weakness in your eyes
I'm forced to fake
A smile, a laugh everyday of my life
My heart can't possibly break
When it wasn't even whole to start with
She was dressed all in black. Even her hair had black highlights in it that brought a contrast to her dark red hair.
In the background pictures could be seen of a very young girl with bright red hair and green eyes. She was crouched in a corner. It was obvious what she was afraid of: a man looming above her. Her father.
Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I find it hard to trust not only me, but everyone around me
Because of you
I am afraid
Now the lights where on their brightest enlighten everyone in the hall. The students were shocked of what they saw. Now most people started to understand why the girl was the ways she was.
I watched you die
I heard you cry every night in your sleep
I was so young
You should have known better than to lean on me
You never thought of anyone else
You just saw your pain
And now I cry in the middle of the night
For the same damn thing
Suddenly the pictures changed. Now there was a grave to be seen. Plenty of flowers laid on the tomb stone. In white colour a name was to be read:
Ann Rose Evans
Slowly the lights started to fade until the hall turned dark again.
Because of you
I never stray too far from the sidewalk
Because of you
I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt
Because of you
I try my hardest just to forget everything
Because of you
I don't know how to let anyone else in
Because of you
I'm ashamed of my life because it's empty
Because of you
I am afraid
Because of you
Because of you
It took several minutes for the crowd to realize that the song was over. But soon the students were clapping as loud as they could. It was their of showing sympathy towards the girl, Lilian Evans.
