Returning once again with another chapter!

Note 1/1: I have literally one day off. Saturday is the only day that I don't write stuff. The entire rest of my week is Sixth form, League of legends and writing. At some point I am going to take a break for a week or so but I have no idea when so have fun with that.

Ahahha! A single week-long break! That didn't happen.

THIS CHAPTER HAS BEEN UPDATED RETROACTIVELY

Chapter 9: The confession

Ahri's POV:

We'd been in the hot springs for quite a while and not done a whole lot, to my slight irritation. We were, at Zoh's request, on opposite sides of the water. To make matters worse, the water was high enough to do a better job of covering up my boobs than my clothes did.

As Zoh looked off into the distance, probably daydreaming or something, I decided to have a little fun. When I was sure that he was almost entirely out of it, I slowly made my way around the side of the pool. The splashing of the small waterfall behind me was enough to cover my movements until I was right next to him. He didn't react in time to stop me from wrapping my arms around his shoulders.

"Ahri what are you doing?" He gasped as my bare body rubbed against his side.

"I had a few questions and it's so impersonal to ask from all the way over there."

"Can you please stop rubbing against me? Personal space is an important concept that you're failing to grasp right now."

"There's only one thing I'm grasping right now and he's not getting away till he's answered my questions. So, do you find every single part about me attractive or just the human bits?"

"I literally could not imagine a way to make any part of your appearance better. However, I'd prefer to see it from a distance."

"I didn't ask for your opinion on where I put my body so on to the next question: how do you like being close this close to me?"

"I'd be much more comfortable with the situation with the addition of clothes. However, I can't say it isn't a soothing feeling to know that you are right here. It means I have one less thing to worry about."

"Okay then, last question: how does this feel?" I asked as my hand slipped down and stroked his manhood.

It took less than a second for him to grab my hand and hold it away.

"Ahri I'm not going to let this happen."

"I knew you were lying when you said I was attractive!"

"Where the hell has this come from? I've told you a thousand times how hot you are!"

"How am I supposed to believe that when every time I try to make a move you reject me? You've said it yourself, you're a virgin who's been too afraid to even look at women the wrong way his entire life! If I can't get the most sexually repressed man in modern history to fuck me then how am I meant to compete in a world filled with normal, human girls?" I questioned as my eyes welled-up.

"Hold up a second. You say 'human girl' like you aren't one."

"That's because I'm not! If you haven't noticed I have whisker-marks, an extra set of ears on my fucking head and nine tails!"

At that point Zoh turned to face me and put both his hands on my shoulders.

"Listen, Ahri, I want you to disregard everything in the world except for my voice. In every way that matters, you are human. From your head to your toes, everything needed to be a human is there. I've met a lot of beautiful people in my time, and I do mean a LOT, but you're in your own league. You might think that it's your fault that I treat you the way I do, but that could not be more wrong. The reason why is… I didn't want to say this, but if it'll get you out of this rut. I… I love you Ahri. The only thing stopping me from going to town on you is that I don't know what kind of love it is. I've never felt most of the different kinds of love, so I really don't know what I'm dealing with. It's confusing as hell, but that's the truth."

"I don't really know what to say… I guess I'm as clueless as you really." I sniffled before pulling him into a hug.

"I suppose I can let you have this one for free."

"We both know a hug ain't enough right now."

In a flash I pulled away just enough for a kiss. I could almost feel Zoh's indecision before he finally accepted it.

My tails went to his hands and guided them up to my back, however he quickly decided to put them on my head instead. Having him lean in and take control removed any strength I had in my muscles. He could have done anything to me at that point without a single word of disapproval.

Sadly, he broke away a few seconds later. On the bright side, he still held onto me, our faces only a few inches apart.

When I opened my eyes, he was staring straight at me: "I'm not sure what that was for, but I think I'm okay with it."

"Let's just say it's so that you don't tell anyone about my… 'moment' a minute ago."

"I wouldn't dare. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I prefer to not be on fire."

"Well then you'd better stay here and snuggle for a little while. Who knows, you might even start to like being so close to me."

"There's certainly one part about this current position I'm enjoying. Or, I suppose, two parts."

"It's nice seeing you admit you like my boobs being pressed against you."

"I never said that. It's what I was implying but I didn't say that."

"This isn't exactly the best situation to be discrete."

He peeked downwards for a second before agreeing: "Yeah, I suppose you've a point there."

For a second he gazed at me before he furrowed his brow and tilted his head, looking right past me.

"Shen what the hell are you doing here?"

"Meditating. You both get more balanced by the moment; I am taking advantage of that, as it aids my internal serenity."

"You know, I might even be okay with that if we weren't naked."

"If you're feeling self-conscious, don't worry, I do not mind seeing you like this."

"For someone who supposedly sees everything, you are really blind sometimes."

"Ah, I understand, you and Ahri are going to have sexual interactions. I shall face the other way and ignore the noise."

"There is so much wrong with that sentence I don't even know where to begin."

Zoh wasn't achieving a whole lot, so I let go of him and turned to Shen, who was sitting on top of the waterfall.

"Shen can you please leave? Myself and Zoh are trying to share a private moment and you being here ruins the 'private' part."

"Very well. If you get the time, do find a way to alert me once the 'private moment' has ended."

"Yeah, sure, whatever. Be off now." I urged as I pointed towards the exit button. Shen complied and calmly hopped down from the waterfall before pressing the button.

"Now that he is gone I have a question to ask you. Don't worry, it's not like the others." I assured while turning back to Zoh.

"Go ahead."

"How come you can barely maintain eye contact with me most of the time, but yet you can so easily reject my advances when I take it too far? I'm not trying to pressure you or anything, I'm just curious."

"It is relatively easy, my people just evolved this way. Basically, there used to be this huge land predator on our planet. Imagine a tiger mixed with a dragon with the aggressiveness of a poodle. The way these things worked was by digging themselves underground but leaving a single part of their body visible. These lures were gelatinous masses that would sense the presence of the nearest decently-sized prey and craft themselves into the thing that would attract that thing the most. Because we were still basically cavemen at that point, it was pretty easy to get them close enough to strike. However, as survival of the fittest goes, the few who were able to ignore it best passed on the traits to the next generation and so-on. Due to this and a few other instances of natural selection, I, along with everyone else on my planet, am very resistant to any kind of sexual urges unless we give in to it willingly."

"So why do you constantly stare?"

"There's a reason people refer to it as the 'Museum-Trait'. Look, don't touch."

"Is that so?" I asked before shifting over and sitting on his lap. As I was feeling nice, I kept seated sideways about half-way up his legs. I didn't want to seem too distant though, so I kept my tails and arms wrapped around him.

"It would be unfortunate if Shen came back now."

"Don't worry, the misty water covers up the important parts."

"He's a ninja Ahri. I think he can see through a thin layer of water."

"Oh, I doubt he's going to think about me in the slightest. Have you seen that ninja chick he works with? Don't tell me he's not banging that."

"I really doubt they'd be allowed to do that. You know ninjas, they've got weird rules about this stuff. Sexual relations are probably banned cause they'd 'cloud your judgement' or something."

"That makes sense. I can't think straight about anything else properly when I'm doing stuff like this with you."

"Times like this: neither can I."

"I wonder why…" I pondered before taking a very deep breath and straightening my back. It was just enough to hold my boobs out of the water for a few seconds.

"Give me a minute and I might think up a few reasons." He replied sarcastically while leaning back a bit.

"But I bet you love every one of them. Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to hold my face against yours for a while in a romantic way."

"Wait what-" He began before I cut him off with my mouth. I felt his hands go around my back as I leaned in, pushing his back onto the sandy bank. He'd had his go taking charge. It was my turn.

After a few seconds I broke away and put my head next to his, hoping for a few kisses on the neck. Thankfully, he obliged, planting his lips against me in multiple places.

"Just so you know… this only counts… as one."

"Count this as however many you want, as long as you keep going."

"Hmm… sounds like you're… enjoying this."

"You could say that. Maybe it's got something to do with this being what I always imagine you doing when we're doing it."

I let out a whimper of sadness when he stopped and asked: "How often do you imagine that?"

"Uhhm…" I mumbled while trying to count up the amount of times on my hands. I realised I didn't have nearly enough fingers for it, so I gave up: "A lot. Let's just say it's a lot."

"Well, if you get a chance, ask daydream me what the word for something that lives underwater is. It starts with, like, a 'U' or something. Uac… Uta… Uica… I don't know."

"I thought it started with a 'T'? Tuac-something… or… I don't know either…"

"Man I hate it when this happens. If only there was a list of all the words people forget and descriptions of what they mean."

"A dictionary. What you're describing is a dictionary."

"Hey not necessarily- nope, wait, you're right, I totally did just describe a dictionary."

I nodded before adding: "Bit of a dumbass aintcha?"

"At the same time as I don't know why my pinkie-toes seem to be magically attracted to the corners of hard things; I know precisely why incredibly small things change when they are observed then switch back when they not."

"Why do they?"

"Cause they're twats. And science. Mostly the first thing."

I sighed at him with a smile: "You are a terrible scientist."

"Yep. More of the inventor-type really."

"Well, if you can refrain from building anything for a few minutes, I'd like to watch the sun go down."

"I shouldn't join you. Watching sunsets is a stereotypically romantic thing."

Despite what he said, he didn't move a muscle, with the exception of the ones in his neck as we both turned to the star. As it slowly edged below the sea, my mind drifted to what we'd do when it came back up again around the other side. I had to decide whether or not I'd make a few attempts to get something going with Zoh. On one hand, he had been very nice that night and probably deserved an easy day. On the other, he had said he loved me in some way.

How come I didn't say it back? No doubt I was feeling something similar to him. Whatever the hell that odd feeling I was getting just by sitting with him was, it couldn't be normal.

When I glanced sideways, he was smiling contently. Was he actually happy; or just putting on a show to hide the hurt?

Maybe I should have said something. But every time I tried, my mouth wouldn't open and my head wouldn't move to look at him. It just didn't feel… right.

With none of the restraint that was plaguing me, Zoh yawned: "We should probably get back to the room now. It's getting late."

"Okay. You should probably tell Shen that."

"Do not fear, I heard you. If I may add, before we part ways, you two have very little concept of time." Shen replied from atop the palm tree this time.

"Why do you say that?" I questioned with a tinge of annoyance.

"You have been in those springs for hours. The Summoner's magic should make it possible for you to clean yourselves by walking in, standing there for a second, and then leaving. Also, I do not appreciate the aggressive feelings you harbour for me."

"Oh silly me for being slightly annoyed that I can't just have a little while alone with Zoh."

"Two hours is not a 'little while' and you cannot be considered 'alone' with Zoh present."

"I don't know why I even try. Come on, I'm tired." I sighed while staring at the guy I was using as a seat.

Zoh looked back for a second before turning to Shen and shrugging: "I think it's a woman thing."

"Don't think I won't hit you."

"I'm not worried. It's not like it would hurt or anything." He replied with a grin.

"Aaaand for that you have to carry me back to the room. Well done."

"You don't exactly strike me as the, let's say, 'heavy' kind of person, so that sounds easy enough."

In one swift motion Zoh flicked me up so his left hand was under my knees and his right was holding my back. By the time he had lifted me out of the water and stepped onto the grass, Shen was already gone. I didn't really pay it much attention, however, as I was entirely focused on the guy carrying me to bed. His dripping muscles were pressed against my body in multiple places, and I couldn't think of a time in my life when I felt safer. He didn't strain in the slightest while carrying me across the island and his eyes kept a vigilant watch on everything surrounding us.

When we appeared in the room, Zoh didn't need a moment to know where I'd be sleeping. He kicked his door open and carried me in.

"Still just friends though?"

"Of course." He assured while shutting the door behind us with his foot.

The next morning (09:00):

Some wonderfully naughty dreams were finally broken up by a loud banging. It took my brain a few moments for the noise to register as a door being knocked on. After a second, I realised it was probably ours.

It didn't seem right for me to be the one who had to go do that, so I turned over in bed and nudged Zoh on the back a few times. When he didn't react, I shoved him a bit harder. That worked as well as my first attempt, so I shuffled back a bit then kicked him. Somehow, he just kept snoozing away happily, so I gave up and rolled out of bed.

While pushing myself up from the carpet, I shouted:

"Just a minute, I'm getting dressed!"

Once I was out of Zoh's room and into mine, it only took me a few seconds to hurl the doors of my wardrobe open and shove my usual outfit on.

I was still feeling those slight irritations that always come with putting on a fresh set of clothes by the time I reached the door. While sorting out a part of the skirt that had bunched up awkwardly, I opened the door to find a middle-aged Summoner standing in front of me.

"Uh… hi. Why are you here?" I asked, hoping it would be quick so I could go back to bed.

"Good morning to you too. I'll cut the lawyer-speak and just give you the basic rundown. Based on the data gathered through various means, the Council has decided that you and Zoh are no longer in need of the good old 'shove to problems together until they fix each other' method. As such, we have arranged for you to receive your very own room. Whenever you feel you're ready, gather your things and I'll show you the way there."

"Well it's a nice offer and all but I am going to stay here. As much as I really hope you don't already know this, I'm sure you're aware how we spent last night. Do we really seem like the kind of people who want to be separated?"

"So, in the span of a few days, you managed to go from him actively attempting to cleave you in half, to best buddies sharing a bath? And all of this without any charm magic? What happened?"

"A nightmare creature and a ninja convinced him that I was not as bad as he thought I was, he apologised, I got him to agree to do whatever I say, and then a bunch of romantic stuff happened. Somewhere along the line he said he loves me, and now I'm here explaining it all to you."

He stared at me, not saying a word, for a few seconds before stating: "I think you understand why I would like to speak to Zoh for a second."

"A hundred percent."

I spun on my heels and hurried to Zoh's room. Once inside I headed straight for his bed and, after taking a second to admire his muscles, I pinched his nose. It only took a few seconds before he shot up with his fists ready. He dropped them and sighed when he realised what had happened.

"There's a Summoner at the door who needs to speak with you. It's nothing to worry about."

He rubbed his eyes before looking at the bedside alarm-clock and asking: "Isn't it a bit early for this?"

"Yeah, it is."

"Urgh, okay, just give me a minute to get changed."

Zoh consistently muttered curse-words under his breath as his early-morning hands struggled to stay coordinated enough to put on his clothes. When he finally managed it, I followed him out as he went into the main room and over to the door.

"Ah, Zoh, I would just like you to confirm what Ahri has said-"

Zoh groaned as he hooked his arm around my waist and pulled me into a kiss. It only lasted a few seconds and when it was over I couldn't stop a mix of bewilderment and surprise from appearing on my face.

"Happy?"

"I suppose that works. I'll go update the Council."

"Good. I'm going to go collapse on my bed thank you very much."

A while later (11:00):

"We could go bowling?"

"We need more people for that. You ask your friends, I'll ask mine. We'll meet back here in an hour."

"I only have one friend though."

"Really? Who is it?"

"I'll give you a hint: their name starts with a 'Z' and it isn't Zed."

"… Zyra?"

"You're a fucking idiot."

"That's hardly- oh, wait, no, I know what you're getting at now. How do you only have me?"

"All my time is spent with you. When the hell would I have made friends?"

He scratched his chin in consideration for a moment before responding: "When we were drunk?"

"Please, I have to spend so much time stopping you from getting yourself seriously injured, I barely have time to say a word to anyone."

"Hmm. Well, that's fair enough then. At least this presents us with something to do."

"What would that be?"

"I'm going to teach you how to make friends!" He declared while putting one foot up on the coffee table and striking a determined pose.

"Sorry to break it to you, but you're not exactly the most sociable person."

"Do I strike you as a man who gives up on an idea AFTER he's already put his foot up on something?"

"Uh, I'm not sure."

"You're damn right I don't!"

An hour later (12:00):

The entire time we spent attempting to work out how I could get a few good friends, I was internally counting down the seconds until I could finally go get food. When Zoh took his 'I need to go hit my head against something hard' breaks, I would think about what sort of thing I could get. I had heard there was a pretty extensive selection in the main dining area.

I sighed and slumped further into the sofa as Zoh paced back and forth in front of me.

"Okay, so, if they do that then do I set them on fire?"

"No! Don't ever set any of your friends on fire!"

"But they deserved it."

"Your friends never deserve to be set on fire! If they've done something to warrant that, they're not your friends!"

"But I've set you on fire plenty of times."

"I'm in a relatively unique position where I can be set on fire and, if I'm in my armour, be just fine. If you pull that shit on a normal person, it's not going to just be a joke between friends. It's going to be a trip to the intensive care unit!"

I peeked at my non-existent watch then concluded: "Well looks like we are out of time. Come on lets go get lunch."

"You've been pulling my leg with this whole fire thing, haven't you?"

"To be honest, yes. I was convinced it'd only last for a few minutes, but then you didn't catch on for an entire hour."

"You're lucky I'm a relatively calm and mentally stable guy, or I'd have torn this entire room apart out of the frustrating ordeal you just put me through."

"If it helps, I don't really feel the need to get more friends right now. I just want to focus as much time as I can on helping you realise how you feel about me." I explained while standing up and cupping his face in my hands.

"I really want to be mad at you right now… but you're so damn calming. I think it's the eyes."

"I'd maybe believe that if you were actually looking at my eyes and not down there."

"You know, I really don't have any control of where I'm looking when I'm around you."

"Apparently not. However, I'd prefer you to be looking at them from across a table. Preferably one with food on it."

Twenty minutes later (12:25):

That dining hall did not feel particularly lived-in. I couldn't really put my finger on why, but it definitely didn't. Maybe it was that the entire place was spotless. Not a speck of mud on the floor, not a single scratch on the walls, not a smudge on the huge windows. The only things on the tables were the champions and the plates of food they were enjoying. At one end of the hall was a line of canteen-displays, showing off a variety of foods which, for the most part, I didn't even know existed up until that point. It all looked absurdly delicious.

I couldn't help but be a bit concerned when I saw the damage Zoh had done to that table. It hadn't been chopped, so much as 'disintegrated'. It, like all the tables, was made of stone and had benches connected to it. Zoh had managed to smash it in half by the middle, cracking the benches apart along the way and collapsing the whole thing to the ground.

There wasn't a huge amount of people in the dining hall, maybe twenty or thirty, but most of them were staring at Zoh with either anger or mild fear.

"Uh, sorry about the table. I didn't intentionally do… that, to it. I'll just… go ahead and fix it."

I leaned against the wall as Zoh went over to the destroyed table. He pulled a blowtorch from his belt and started heating up the table where it had split been split. That must have been a really damn hot blowtorch, because the table almost immediately started melting where he used it. When all the damaged area was dripping molten rock, he picked up the separate parts and shoved them together. After holding them there for a few seconds, the rocks cooled enough to hold together. It wasn't perfectly repaired though, as bumps had appeared around the fix. That was where Zoh got a chance to show off all the effort he had put into sharpening his axe, as he pulled it from his waist and sliced away the excess. It cut through rock like it wasn't even there.

"You can use this, but don't sit where I repaired it. You'll burn your arse off." He concluded before walking back over to me.

"I was beginning to think that you would not fix it." Shen remarked.

"Well I'd be a bit of a dick if I didn't. Shall we go use it?"

"I better be included in that 'we'." Nocturne added as he floated through the massive doorway.

"Of course, the more the merrier."

Ten minutes later (12:40):

The four of us were sat at the end of the table closest to the door and, for obvious reasons, no-one had opted to join us on that table.

Despite the conversation moving to various subjects, Nocturne always found a way to add in a dirty comment about me and Zoh. Most of the time, only one person at the table didn't find it funny.

Other than that, Zoh seemed to be having a nice time telling us about all the dumb stuff he'd done.

"-and, obviously, they were a little bit mad about that. So I just went ahead and threw the raptor at their queen and made a run for it. That was a fun night."

I noticed someone walk up behind Zoh as he finished his story. He must have noticed everyone else looking behind him, as Zoh spun around on the bench to find Ezreal pointing his energy bow, point-blank, at his face.

"If you ever touch me again I will blow your head off and beat your friends to death with it!"

Zoh let out an irritated sigh as he grabbed his helmet from next to his plate and put it on. Before he had even fully stood up, he dwarfed Ezreal.

"Take your best shot."

"I don't want to get your blood on me."

"Then take a fucking step back and do it! I haven't got all day to wait for you to grow some balls."

That angered Ezreal enough for him to immediately fire a shot directly at Zoh's face. For a second, I could have sworn it missed, as there was absolutely no reaction from Zoh. The little guy was clearly irritated by that fact, as he tried again multiple times. Every shot achieved as much as the first.

After a little while, Ezreal gave up. Zoh chuckled then grabbed him by the collar, lifting the little guy into the air.

"First mistake, shooting at a guy with armour a few thousand years of technological advancement ahead of you. Second mistake, shooting at a guy who is protected by Summoner magic, making it impossible to kill him. Third mistake, shooting from close enough for him to punch you." He concluded before smashing Ezreal in the face. Zoh took him over to an empty table and sat the unconscious guy down at it before coming back over and taking his seat next to me.

"I enjoyed that." He noted cheerfully while pulling off his helmet and putting it down on the table.

"Not as much as I did." Nocturne added while putting a spoonful of soup into his face where his mouth would be. It just phased in then came out again with nothing in it.

"I have restrained myself for years around that kid. He has a superbly punchable face." Shen commented.

"Unfortunately for him, I use all my restraint with Ahri."

From behind us came a low, growly voice: "I would love to get a chance at hunting that thing."

Me and Zoh turned around to see what looked like a lion-man in leather and iron armour. His main body was covered by large metal plates for the most part, with chainmail covering his joints. He had two large shoulder-guards, one of which had three large claws protruding from it. The arms were only protected by some thick leather, with one of the wrist-guards holding two blades that looked like they could swing back and forth from being at the ready and safe. The creature had an absurd amount of spikes and blades all over its body, but the main weapon seemed to be a sword-type thing in its right hand that it held in a reverse-grip. Behind all of the armour and weapons was a thing with white fur that it had braided into dreadlocks and a beard, all of which had claws at the end of them. It had an eye-patch with a slit in it that showed a yellow eye beneath, while the other was blue.

"That would be Rengar." Shen explained.

"A pleasure to meet you."

"And you. So, going to sit down or what?"

"Happily. I've been looking for something to do ever since they banned me from hunting."

"Why would they do that?"

"I killed the last of an endangered species… and made the species endangered in the first place."

A while later (14:00):

"Seriously Zoh, where the hell are we going?"

"Just wait a few more seconds we are almost there… Okay now open your eyes."

I did as asked and instantly recognised that place as Zoh's room. Nowhere else in the League was that damn cluttered by piles of discarded technology. One thing that stood out amongst the junk was a mirror standing in front of me. Although, calling it a 'mirror' probably wasn't right. Instead of showing me as I was, it showed me without the extra ears, the whisker-marks or the tails.

"Zoh… what is this?"

"It took some time and a lot of technology, but I made a mirror which removes everything that is not human…" Zoh petered off near the end and turned from the mirror to me: "Recognise her?"

"Yeah, or, no, I suppose. I don't know. Why are you showing me this?"

"Because, whoever the hell that is in the mirror, I don't know them. She's missing a bunch of the cool stuff that the real one has."

"I get what you're trying to say, even though you're not very good at saying it. I think I owe it to you to start liking myself as much as you do."

"I'd say so. It seems ridiculous for someone so damn hot to have self-esteem issues. Now, if you'd do me this kindness, burn the damn mirror to the ground."

"Gladly." I smiled at him while igniting the mirror. It practically disintegrated at the flame's touch, so it only took me a second to reduce it completely to a pile of ash.

When I turned to Zoh, I realised that it was probably the best chance I'd get to ask something that had been bugging me all day: "Can I ask you a question, why did you do all that for me yesterday?"

"Ahri, at some point you're going to learn that a whole lot of the world's problems are caused by a bad self-image. The amount of times I've seen people try to degrade others because they don't love themselves enough is staggering. That's why, every once in a while, you have to do all you can to show people that they are far more fantastic than they believe. I still think you're one of the most interesting people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, not to mention the honestly unfair looks. That's why, if I think I have to, I'm willing to do a whole lot more than you would expect in order to get your confidence up. With that in mind, you can fully expect me to repeat yesterday and then some whenever I think you've forgotten how perfect you are. Does that explain it?"

I put my hands lightly on his shoulders and smiled: "You may have been a soldier for most of your life, but you do the job of a hopeless romantic much better. Kinda makes me wish I was still feeling as terrible as I was yesterday."

"Part of me wishes you were too, but the majority is happy for you."

"At least all of me agrees on what I want right now, and we both know what that is."

"And you know that I'm not going to go that far unless there is no other conceivable way to cheer you up."

"Well hey, now I know what I gotta do." I chuckled before stepping a bit closer to Zoh and resting my head on his chest. A pang of guilt shot through me when my mind fell on a nasty subject, making me ask: "I'm not too bad I suppose, but I'm not perfect either. I can't ever be after killing those people."

"Ahri, you can't blame yourself for that. You just changed species and found that you had an irresistible urge to do something that you didn't understand. Getting angry at you for that would be like getting pissed off at a puppy for scratching you or a baby for knocking things over."

"Are you comparing me to a baby?"

"Yes."

"You're sometimes very counter-productive when you are trying to make me feel better."

"I know. However, I've got one tactic I can always use when I mess up..." His sentence trailed off as he gently pulled my head off his chest and put his lips on mine. I noticed that he was standing at the end of the bed, so I closed my eyes and guided him backwards towards it with a few light shoves. When the backs of his legs were touching it, I pushed Zoh onto the bed and crawled on top of him. The second I got a chance, I reconnected our lips, though I did just leave it at that. I could tell trying to go further wouldn't go well.

After a few seconds, I broke away, hovering my face just above his, to ask: "How's that will-power of yours doing now?"

"Well enough to say that was your last one for the day."

I frowned and my ears slumped down in disappointment.

"I swear, you change the amount every day."

"Depends on my mood. However, this is all beside the point."

"Oh really? What is the point then?"

"Right now it's something like 'I appreciate that the view from down here is lovely and I'm very comfortable but get off so I can create something for us to play with for the rest of the day'."

"It's pretty much tradition at this point for me to say that I know what we could do for the rest of the day."

"Just the same as it's tradition for me to say 'nah'."

This took a preposterous amount of time!

Anyways there's nothing really to say but I hope you all enjoyed and yes I am going to be having Rengar join the little friend group because the more lore-breaking this can be the more fun I get to have.

So once again, I hope you all enjoyed this and…

Goodbye!

(Can't believe I used the word 'preposterous' un-ironically.)
