No idea when this is going to be put up but I doubt it will be on time…

Anyways welcome to this chapter. Some stuff is going to happen (probably) so that could be good.

For now I shall say that either this chapter of the next one will have another big event and some mystery and stuff. Yeah.

this is getting awkward now so let's get on with the chapter.

(The title is Latin by the way).

Chapter 14: Damna falsum

Ahri POV

The night was lonely without Zoh by my side. Normally I could expect to cosy up to him and enjoy all the attention he gave me. No matter the time he would always be willing to listen to whatever I had to say. I tried to put it in the back of my mind and get some sleep but doing so just made me feel worse.

By now it was early enough for me to go and get some breakfast. I was about to go downstairs when Shen and the summoner appeared in front of the door. Shen took a step forward with both his hands clasped together.

"The council has agreed to delay your next concert to give you time to grieve for your loss."

"Furthermore, both of the assassins have already received their sentences and will be spending quite some time away."

"How long do I have before I have to go off to wherever you're sending me?"

"We should be getting to Demacia in three days." Shen replied.

"So I have three days to get over the death of my best friend?"

"Well technically you should get to the city in two days for the same reasons as for Piltover."

I stared at the summoner blankly for a few seconds until he realised what he had said.

"I'll be leaving now."

The summoner disappeared leaving me and Shen standing in silence. He looked like he was about to leave for a second before he turned back to me and putting his hand on my shoulder.

"Clean yourself up. You look terrible."

The ninja left without another word and I was once again alone. His bluntness was harsh but he was right. I had spent far too long crying and it had been quite some time since I last cleaned myself. Since I knew he would still be listening I called out to the summoner.

"Take me back to my room please."

A few seconds later I was back in my room. I fell onto my bed and only then realised my tails and hair were back to their regular colour. My tails and ears drooped down when I stood up. Sighing deeply I walked out of my room and went to the button. Pressing it I immediately threw my clothes aside and waded into the water.

After some time I realised Bob was sitting beside my head on the bank of the spring. Despite how cute he was having him there did nothing for my mood. I sunk slightly deeper into the hot spring and tried to clear my mind completely. The moment I did vivid memories of Zoh's death rushed back into my mind. Tears started welling in my eyes so I ducked my head underwater to save the effort of clearing them with my hand.

As I emerged back up from the water I realised Bob was gone. There was nothing for me to do and instantly my mind went to Zoh's last words. What did he mean by vacation? Why did he have to be so vague? Was it really so hard just to tell me what he meant.

The more I thought about it the less I knew. How had he lost his armour? These questions were going to haunt me until I found answers, but how could I of all people find them?

"I could offer some assistance if you require it." Shen's familiar voice spoke from behind me.

Turning to the direction of Shen's voice I found him standing just behind me. He had seen me nude with Zoh before so I didn't even bother trying to cover up.

"Are you reading minds now or did I make it obvious?"

"I have experienced what you are going through first hand. The stage I imagine you are at is questioning."

"How did you get through this?"

"I had people there to help me. You are different however. From my experience you only take something in when it comes from Zoh or you learn it yourself. I can't help you, but I can make it easier for you to help yourself. And it doesn't even require meditation."

"Shen even for you that is cheesy. But if you think it will help I'll give it a go."

"Good. We leave for Ionia in an hour."

"But-"

"We have to if you want to get back for Zoh's funeral."

"It's been a day since he died! How have they already organised this?"

"They tasked a summoner with his funeral as soon as the news of the assassins broke."

"That is the kind of thing they should really tell us."

"It is understandable why they chose not to. Zoh was not one for keeping his emotions in check. Who knows how he would react."

"Even I couldn't answer that. We better get going to Ionia now."

"Agreed. Let us depart. I shall wait outside."

I turned my head to look away to see Shen already pressing the button. Once he was gone I got out and dried myself off. Getting changed quickly I went to the button and pressed it. Upon returning to the room I saw Shen having what looked to be a staring competition with Bob. Shen was holding it in the air at head height and staring at it. He then proceeded to turn his ear to it and shake Bob. He mumbled something then dropped Bob on the sofa.

"This creature is broken."

"How?"

"He refuses to move when in my sight. Have I done something to offend it?"

"It just does that. I don't question it, neither should you."

"I would recommend a good vet but he has recently injured his foot with a banana and since then he has been rather un-friendly."

"He injured his foot with a… banana?"

"It is a long story. I may have been the one using the banana."

"Save it for Ionia. We are going to need something to talk about."

"There is plenty for us to talk about like… the weather and… what we had for breakfast… you're going to have to help me here."

"We really don't have anything in common do we?"

"Our similarities are few and far between. One thing we share common ground on is our ineptitude in some aspects of life. No offence."

"None taken. I'll admit I am not the best people person and you still have no concept of privacy despite what we tried to teach you."

"I understand the idea of privacy. I just choose to ignore it."

"Honestly not sure if that is a good or a bad thing. We should find a summoner now. I'm sure as hell not walking to Ionia."

"I'll be honest Ahri you don't seem too badly affected by Zoh's death. It's slightly un-nerving."

"Right now I'm bottling it all up. It's definitely bad for me but I don't want to deal with my emotions right now."

"We really need to get to Ionia…"

I shrugged at Shen's concern and went to the door. We both left and went to find the summoner who was with us in Piltover. It was quite difficult considering the size of the League building but eventually we found him in the library. He was on a ladder about ten feet off the ground sorting through the shelves. I was about to get his attention when Shen shouted up to him:

"Summoner we require your assistance immediately!"

Having not noticed us yet the summoner flinched massively at hearing Shen and fell off the ladder. He landed with a smack on the carpeted floor. Even after that he managed to keep his hood over his head. When he looked at us he realised who had called him at which point he groaned and rested his head on the ground.

"You didn't have to shout."

"I did not realise your hearing ability was at the standard level."

"Just tell me what you want Shen."

"Myself and Ahri require teleportation to Ionia."

"Don't know why you needed me for this but okay."

While still laying on the ground the summoner chanted something and made some erratic hand movements. Moments later we were in a field with mountains far in the distance. Forests surrounded the field on almost every side and a few buildings could be seen in the treeline to our left.

I turned to Shen hoping that he recognised the area:

"Any idea where we are?"

"Yes I believe I balanced this area a few months ago… it was on fire if you're wondering."

"Doesn't look like it was on fire."

"I'm rather good at my job."

"Apparently so. Where are we headed then?"

"You see those mountains?"

"Obviously."

"About half way up the tallest one."

"That could take ages! Couldn't the summoner just send us there?"

"The journey there should be as helpful as the location."

"Any clues about what I should actually be doing?"

"Try to think of the good times instead of the bad ones. Teach your mind to think of them instead of Zoh's last moments."

"How is that supposed to help me with my questions?"

"The amount of talking you and Zoh engaged in was much more than the regular couple. Once you have a clear view of all of your conversations the answers will be clear. Or at least I hope so. You two could have just been talking about nonsense and the answers will be forever lost to us."

"So… when I properly remember everything we talked about there is the possibility of finding answers? Well okay then."

"It's ninja logic don't question it."

I gave him a thumbs up and began walking to the mountain. It was close enough for us to get there by today but still far enough that the walk would be quite tiring. In the corner of my eye was Shen who had caught up. He made no noise as he walked compared to the constant patting of my feet on the ground.

Eventually we reached the edge of the field and went into the forest. We walked in silence which made the noises coming from the forest all the more un-nerving. The forest had a thick canopy which let barely any light through. Every once in a while there would be a hole in the canopy which allowed beams of light to shine into the undergrowth. All that culminated in a very creepy area which I would never visit unless accompanied by someone like Shen. Even when a noise came from right beside him he would not even flinch but I knew that if something dangerous came close he would be ready for it.

Soon enough I had nothing new to think about so I decided it was about time I did what Shen suggested. The first thing my mind went to was his last moments. I thought of the happiest moment I had with him for a while and found it genuinely difficult to decide. Eventually I decided upon the first time he told me he loved me in the hot springs. My mind drifted from good and bad but it always seemed like the bad won out.

I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice Shen scanning the area defensively. Only when he held out his hand in front of me to stop me did I realise what was going on. We both heard something from behind so we turned to see a man with a huge sword raised in the air, ready to attack. He held the sword there for a while before throwing it a few feet behind him and smiling at us.

"Hi! Definitely wasn't going to kill you by the way I was just… uh… pointing to the sky in joy at seeing you!"

"Yasuo what were you doing?"

"Shen? How wonderful to see you here! Well, not exactly see but still."

"What do you mean?"

"I may have dropped my contact lenses in a pit."

"How about I ask again: what were you doing?"

"I heard reports of a large fox terrorising the locals so I came to put it down. I see now you have it under control."

"I'm a person thanks."

"It talks? Weird fox you have there Shen."

"Her name is Ahri. She is part fox. Hence the tails, ears and whiskers."

"Oh I'm sorry milady. Unless you haven't noticed I'm having vision problems right now."

"It's fine. May I ask how you two know each other?"

"Yasuo is from the League as well. He has spent a while on vacation however."

"The summoners said they were giving me a buff and I was already considered too powerful by most, so I decided to avoid the hate-mail for as long as possible. These summoners can get quite angry when stuff like this happens."

"We were just headed for the mountains. You can join us if you would like." I offered, attempting to act friendly.

"Unfortunately I must decline. That fox is still out there somewhere and despite my vision I still need to slay it. It was nice meeting you though. I hope to see you at the League when I find my contacts."

"Okay. Good luck with that."

Yasuo picked up his sword and jogged off into the distance. I turned to Shen who pointed to the edge of the forest not far away.

"We should continue on. If we pick up the pace we can be done by about seven pm."

As we walked out of the forest and back into open fields my mind turned back to the good times with Zoh. I began thinking back to the last night we spent together. It all seemed fine at the time but looking back on it something felt off. He said something about not having long left. Did he know that he was headed to his death? Now that I really thought about it he was acting quite strange all night after he went behind the elevator. Something happened back there that he didn't tell me. Maybe he got told about his future from someone? That felt like it was most likely but who would know that and how?

I was beginning to think that this trip had only served to give me more questions. Shen somehow appeared to see this when he turned to me and spoke:

"Your expression is the best evidence imaginable to tell me you are not making any progress. In fact, it looks like the opposite is happening."

"The more I think about the night before the stranger it seems. Zoh was acting odd all night."

"Maybe there was something different with him. Try to think of all the main events of the night and tell them to me. We can work it out together because I am really damn bored."

"Okay just give me a minute."

I thought about everything that happened quite quickly. Most of what I thought of was fine for me to share but one certain thing made me re-consider telling Shen anything.

It was the second time I had tried to take Zoh's life essence but for some reason I couldn't. That time I tried it twice just to make sure I wasn't getting confused over nothing. Piltover was known for blocking magic anywhere they could but I was not sure if what I tried was even magic. I never put enough thought into it to work out how it worked.

How was I supposed to tell Shen that I had tried to take that from Zoh? There was no way he would react positively to it. But it could be important to working out what was different.

"Actually I think it would be better if I worked this out alone. How about we play a game instead?"

"You know how to play I-spy?"

Many hours later (18:30):

"Summit?"

"Yes."

"So the score is eleven-ten to me. I win."

I jumped for joy at both winning the game and realising we had finally reached the place Shen had spoken of. It was a small cave in the mountain a few metres from the path. Inside was a stone with something engraved upon it which I did not understand. Shen stood next to the stone and pointed behind me at the horizon. The sun was setting but it provided enough light for me to see where we had started walking from.

"The stone translates as: 'To be here means you already understand.'"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"It means that if you have put in the effort to get all the way up here you already have what you came for."

"That is partly true at best. Let's get back to the League now, I'm hungry."

Shen took out the earpiece from his pocket and shouted into it:

"Summoner return us to the League building!"

I raised my eyebrow to him until he realised what he had done.

"He still has the same hearing ability doesn't he?"

"Yeah I think so."

In an instant we were back in the library but the summoner was no-where to be found. Making our way to the normal place to get food we ended up talking about Shen and Akali. He would often go into more detail than I wanted but it was still nice to talk about something different. When we reached the dining hall I went straight to get food and sat down. Rengar and Nocturne tried very hard to not get into a conversation with me. They both knew that I was not taking it well so they kept out of my way for the most part. Once I was done I went straight to bed. There was nothing else for me to do so it felt like the best idea.

The next day (13:00):

General POV:

The bar of the League building was never empty no matter the time of day. It was relatively small and could only hold ten people at most. The front of the bar was open giving a clear view of the main room of the League. At the bar sat a few people none of who stood out save for the man with a huge tank of gas strapped to his back. The rest all concealed their faces in one way or another.

Outside the bar a few people could be seen walking in black clothing towards the church of the League. They all looked rather sad and most of them were well known champions.

One of the hooded men in the bar turned his head to another and began to speak:

"Who died?"

"Some guy called Zoh I think. Apparently he was going to be a champion or something."

"Hmm. Interesting. I got nothing else to do so I may as well have a look. Enjoy your drink."

As the hooded man got up and left the other grunted in acknowledgement and continued drinking. The hooded man then turned the corner and followed a group of people in black. Eventually they reached the church and went inside. At the other end from the door was a coffin and a podium where Nocturne was making a speech, which was surprisingly joke-free.

The hooded man entered just as Nocturne finished and a summoner asked if anyone else would like to make a speech. No-one else put up their hand so the man sighed and walked to the front. Standing behind the pedestal a grin could be seen beneath his hood as he began:

"Sorry if this is a bit patch I didn't really plan this ahead. Come on who would? Oh wait you won't get that yet never-mind."

The silence that followed gave him the que to continue:

"So uh let me think here. He was quite irritating at times, I know that much at least. I would imagine that the explosions from his inventions could be considered dangerous but I wouldn't say so. Hmm what else would be important… oh I would expect he spent his last night with Ahri doing… well, you know."

Ahri was sitting on the front row and clearly blushed at his statement but her main emotion was still of shock and anger.

"From the looks of it he was killed by a larger-then-necessary knife to the chest. Got to wonder how that happened. So I guess that was not fun. Probably. I wouldn't know. Well, I do but I don't. Once again you won't get that so why did I say it? Ugh sometimes… I annoy myself."

From beside him the summoner had clearly heard enough.

"Sir if you have nothing good to contribute sit down or leave."

"Are you telling me to leave my own funeral?"

"This funeral isn't for you it's for Zoh."

"Yeah. Same thing. Hi. Want some evidence?"

"Considering he is laid down in that coffin right now I would love to see that evidence."

The man flipped his hood back to reveal the familiar face of Zoh, causing many people in the church to gasp.

"Now I don't quite know why I am dead in that coffin over there but I imagine it has something to do with cloning. How about you go ahead and remove any clones in the room?"

The summoner regained his composure from the initial shock and went through the motions of the clone-removal spell. The coffin became very bright for a few seconds and after a few seconds it was completely empty.

"How did you not think to try that before?"

The summoner remained speechless so Zoh turned back to everyone else. He soon noticed that Ahri was no longer sitting in her seat. At first he turned to his left, then to his right but as he did that a harsh slap sent him to the ground.

"Ah dear god that hurt!"

"That's what you get for making me think you were dead!"

"I didn't plan this!"

"But you let me believe you were for a day!"

"I didn't plan for that either! I spent all of yesterday walking back here from the Freljord."

Zoh got to his feet and stared at Ahri for a moment. He was about to continue talking when she yelled to the summoner behind him:

"Take us back to our room now!"

The summoner frantically chanted the spell and soon they were back in their room. The first thing she did was slap Zoh across the face again, slightly weaker this time though.

"I really don't feel like I deserved that."

"You deserve worse after what I went through. I didn't even think I could cry that much!"

"Listen Ahri I am incredibly sorry about what you went through but I could not stop it. When I went to get a book I was teleported to a prison somewhere. It took time to get back."

"How did you even escape from that damn prison?"

"Surely you know by now that I carry about a tonne of explosives with me wherever I go. At least half that prison must be scattered all over the Freljord right now."

"Couldn't you just teleport back?"

"Teleportation without the right equipment? Are you a mad woman?"

"I might be now that I think about it."

The two smiled at each other for a second before Ahri's mood changed back to anger.

"But I'm still mad at you!"

"Oh?"

Zoh trailed off as he put his hands around Ahri and pulled her slightly closer. He began planting kisses on her neck. While still doing that he continued:

"How are we going to end that?"

"This is… a good way."

For a moment Zoh stopped and stared into Ahri's eyes.

"I just got the clones memory. Seems he discovered something very interesting about this spot…"

Zoh went back to Ahri's neck but on the other side, receiving a low groan from her. He continued like that for a few seconds before moving up to meet her eye to eye.

"But I think I prefer this."

As he finished Zoh pulled Ahri closer until their bodies and lips were pressed together. She slowly guided him to the sofa. They sat down and moved so that Ahri was sitting on top of him. Ahri pulled away after a few more seconds.

"I have to hand it to you: when you try to apologise, you really do apologise."

"I'm not even done saying sorry yet."

"Before we get back to anything can I just ask how I'm supposed to know you're not a clone as well?"

"I got the memories from the clone. How else would I have known about that sweet-spot on your neck?"

"Could have just been a good guess. I would like to see you chance upon it again."

Zoh smiled at the statement while moving around to the exact same spot on Ahri's neck. She immediately moved to keep him where he was. Despite this Zoh managed to pull away enough to speak:

"Need more proof?"

"I think I can believe you after that. Now as I see it you have three options: go back to that, get behind my ear or we re-enact what you missed out on after you left."

"Let's think these through logically. We don't want to have sex too often for reasons too numerous to say, if I keep doing that to your neck you might get less sensitive there. We can't be having that now can we?"

"So then you better get working behind my ear. To make it even better I will tell you all about the finer points of make-up."

"I would love to hear all about it but… uh… there's no point lying here that sounds incredibly dull for me so I'm just going to give your mouth something else to do."

Zoh turned onto his side which moved Ahri to be level with him. At first he just went in for the kiss but he soon had moved his hand up to behind her ear. Through some nimble movement she managed to get back on top of him. Breaking away once more Zoh muttered barely loud enough for Ahri to hear:

"How come you always end up on top of me?"

"It brings back good memories of finally catching my prey as a fox. And this way I can stop you from getting away to go work on god knows what."

"I could never walk away from this."

"Of course not. You would much prefer to be pulled through the window by a robot."

"What's happening now is very different to what was happening then. Right now I am quite okay with this. The day that I spent without you made me miss all of it."

"I would give you a better view of everything you missed but I have a feeling that a few people will be visiting with some questions rather soon."

"We could sit here and wait for that to happen, or we could go somewhere private to catch up."

"Is 'catching up' your way of suggesting we get nude?"

"… Yeah, basically."

With some effort Zoh picked up Ahri in both hands and stood up. He carried her to the button and kicked it. As they appeared on the island, Zoh let Ahri down and was about to take his shirt off when she cleared her throat to get his attention.

"Really? What have I done now?"

"I would really appreciate it if you gave me a hand with all this."

"You have never had a problem with getting un-dressed before."

"Am I going to have to order you to do this?"

"No ma'am."

Zoh got down to one knee and began undoing Ahri's shoes. Soon enough both of them were off and he threw them to the side. Standing back up, Zoh got Ahri to turn around so that he could undo her dress. He grumbled a few words of contempt as he pulled off the various parts of her clothes:

"I feel like a damn servant or something…"

"Yeah but unlike them you get a reward for doing this."

"And what would that be?"

"Depends how far you are willing to go."

After a lot of toiling Zoh managed to get off the last of Ahri's clothes. He gave a little laugh of victory while Ahri turned to face him.

"Now you."

"Go on ahead while I get rid of Shen."

Ahri walked away into the hot springs as Zoh turned to face Shen who appeared to be nursing a headache.

"How's it going Shen?"

"I spent an entire day trying to help Ahri get over your death, only to find that you survived. I could have spent that day with Akali doing you-know-what."

"You may have noticed that I'm in the middle of something right now so how about I promise to make it up to you if you promise to leave?"

"Consider it a deal. Also if you get some spare time Nocturne needs some help. Something about trying to apologise to Morgana but making it worse."

"Is this all because he said she was manly? Damn that woman has a temper."

"She has quite violent mood swings. Anyway I shall leave you to do whatever it is you plan on."

Shen left without another word while Zoh got undressed. He jogged over to Ahri and sat down next to her in the spring. He un-tensed for a split-second before Ahri put an end to it.

"Do you really think I'm going to let you relax?"

"I had hoped. However it appears you resent that idea with a passion."

Ahri picked up Zoh's arm and wrapped it around her shoulders. She cuddled up to him in a way which made her seem innocent in a strange way.

"If you relax I will get bored. Surely you wouldn't want that for me?"

Zoh looked as if he was about to reply but stopped when he looked down at Ahri. She peered up at him with a puppy-dog eyes and a sweet smile that Zoh was un-accustomed to.

"I had something witty to say but… I'll let it go."

"Of course you will. All I have to do is smile in the right way."

"What can I say, it's a nice smile. I am going to need a little bit more for my silence though."

"Hmm what could I do for someone like you to stop them from making a snarky comment?"

"There are a few things actually. Some new explosives, a helicopter… wait they don't exist here… tell me something is chess a thing on this planet? I've always wanted to learn that game but whenever I try something spontaneously combusts."

"It's like you don't even realise who you are talking to."

At that moment Ahri stretched up to kiss Zoh. In an instant she was pushing her tongue into his mouth. Her hand crept down his stomach with clear intentions.

An undisclosed location

"What do you mean he 'escaped'?"

"We… uh… heard an explosion and… he was… gone."

"You better go find him then!"

"Th-that's the… other, problem. He has reached the League already."

"So she knows the other was a clone. We have missed our only window for this plan. Have the assassins moved to our prison as soon as possible. They could be useful in the future."

"I shall. The council still trust me so it can be done. If you will excuse me I will get to it and think up another plan…"

"No this time I'll make the plan. Yours didn't even take into account that the target could make a rock and some grass into explosives."

"Yes master. Please don't punish me for my incompetence."

"That comes later. For now, just do your job."

Zoh POV

A few hours later (15:00):

The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the quickly fading head-ache that I guessed was the reason I woke up at all. Shielding my eyes from the light with my hand I looked over to my left to see Ahri. Both her arms were wrapped around me and she was smiling in her sleep. It took me a moment to think back to how I got here then I realised why she was smiling.

This was the expression she used after winning something. It should have irritated me that, once again, I had given in to my own desires as well as hers. But taking a second to look at where I was all I felt the need to do was congratulate myself.

I tried to move my left arm, only to find that it was pinned under Ahri. The slight movement caused her to hug even tighter to me. She was so peaceful that I didn't want to wake her so I just gave her a kiss on the forehead and tried to get to sleep, despite the sun being up.

"Is that the signal we can go for round five?"

"Nope. Did we really do that much?"

"Yeah but you won't remember much until the head-ache wears off. Sorry about that by the way."

"Don't worry about it."

"Was it worth it though?"

"From what I do remember: definitely yes."

"I knew it."

"Wait a second you're not going to get pregnant right?"

"No, no, no the summoners set up some sort of magic against it. The last thing they need is female champions taking a bunch of time off because they got knocked up."

"Thank god. It's probably the last thing I need as well."

"Oh well. Any idea what time it is?"

I opened my eyes to scan the room for a clock. Spotting one hung up on the wall it read about three in the afternoon so I rested my head back on the pillow.

"Early enough that we are going to have to get up."

Ahri made a grumbling noise before tightening her grip around me. I tried to get up only for her to wrap her tails around me, pulling me back down onto the bed. My arms were still free so I pushed myself up and got out of bed with Ahri still clinging to me. She made more irritated groans as I got dressed.

"I really would prefer to get my shirt on now."

Once again the only reply I got was a grumble.

"If you really want to I can go out shirtless with you still clinging onto me."

Finally she released from me but I held her up to plant a kiss on her lips. This was enough to make a smile form on her face so I let go of her and pointed to some of her clothes strewn across the floor. I couldn't stop myself from peeping as I got my shirt on. Even just looking at Ahri while she was like that made me feel like I was losing control.

I knew she saw me when dropped some clothes she was holding and stretched out. A fake yawn accompanied her stretch. After that I had to stare away for a moment just to regain my senses. Seemingly pleased with her work Ahri finally got dressed and I gave a sigh of relief when she passed by me without trying anything.

"We should go find Nocturne. According to Shen he's been having some trouble with Morgana."

"What could possibly go wrong in a relationship between a nightmare creature and a fallen angel? Seems like the perfect combination."

"Sarcasm is the lowest form of wit."

"Fine but what are we going to do about it?"

"Just find the problem then think of a solution."

"So… improvise?"

"That's what we normally do and it's worked well enough so far."

"If it has worked we wouldn't need to do this in the first place."

"You're just grumpy because you had to get up."

"I'm not grumpy."

"…"

"I'm not grumpy!"

"Whatever you say. Now if you would please?"

I opened the door and motioned for Ahri to step through. Soon enough we were walking through the halls looking everywhere we expected Nocturne to be. To our surprise we found him in the library of the League. He was throwing books out of the shelves, clearly looking for something.

"Need some help?" I asked, causing him to stop his search to look back at us.

"I don't understand! She said she didn't want help with something so I got on with my business now I'm the bad guy!"

"Sir you have made a grave error. Explain it to him."

Ahri put on a serious face and began talking:

"Whenever a woman says 'I don't need help' or 'I can do this alone' that is the signal to help in any way you can. Even if it seems insignificant or mundane you have to help. Don't ask why you wouldn't understand."

"How am I supposed to know that? Can she not just tell me what she wants? Must everything be secretive and back-handed?"

"That's women in a nutshell."

We shared a laugh until Ahri punched me in the gut, winding me for a moment.

"Okay maybe I deserved that."

Ahri glared at me for a moment before we both faced Nocturne.

"So then what do I have to do to make it up to her?"

That moment Ahri's ears perked up and a smile spread across her face.

"I have a plan!"

You didn't really think I would kill of Zoh did you? Silly bugger (yeah I'm talking to you Azzuk).

But anyways this has been an interesting chapter to say the least. Now Lita has a side-kick of sorts which opens up a bunch of new things for me to write about which excites me no end. And guess what? This chapter is on time according to my new update schedule!

Basically this is going to become a Sunday thing. And I can't be happier. Now I actually have free time! Yay!

Also more amazing, big, awesome and generally good news being that I have ordered a new computer. And it cost a lot. Yay.

I'll work out the transfer of save files later but for now let's all revel in the fact.

Revelling over!

One other thing I should mention is that I have been thinking up a project which I can do on the side of this. It's set in the same universe and I'm really interested in what I could do with it. I won't say too much now but it's a kind of prequel so obviously it won't last forever. More info next week. Probably.

I forgot to announce end of chapter and beginning of end-chapter notes! Damn!

Too late now I'm not editing this. It's 22:00 right now so I might actually get some sleep tonight. Which is good I guess.

Oh yeah as for you people saying 'Zoh should have been dead for longer' or 'Zoh should be dead' you can hold it right there. It took me so much longer to write for just Ahri and I didn't much enjoy it. This whole thing exists because I enjoy it so stop your moaning and, to quote the internet, 'deal with it'.

One more thing does anyone know how to put in those lines on ? I don't know how and I want to use them. Help would be appreciated.

I've run out of things to say or forgotten things so for now goodbye! Once again I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and I will see you on Sunday!
