Hello and welcome to this probably eventful chapter!

First thing first a wonderful announcement!

The second project I spoke of last chapter is officially going to be a story of the months leading up to Zoh being teleported to Valoran. Don't worry it won't interrupt this series in the slightest. It will basically be a side-project that has no release schedule because I will write for it when I have some spare time off this series.

In related news this series is now more organised than ever before! From now on expect the average chapter to be 7200 words (if you're not getting where I get these numbers from you haven't played league long enough) and they should all be released on time. I'm writing 1000 words in a weekday and 1100 on weekends so I have spare time to do other stuff and this will all be organised. Wonderful isn't it.

A quick note about this series which some people need to understand is that it is basically going to continue until I feel it is time to finish. It's one of my favourite things to do with my time and I really enjoy writing stories for the two characters. If I ever do finish it expect me to write more in the universe because I feel like it's got some really nice takes on characters we all know (a prime example being Shen who I can never write enough for).

Anyways on with the chapter!

Chapter 15: Clarity

"Okay so this is the plan: I and Zoh will create a situation that Morgana will feel the need to deal with. However, just before she gets a chance you will fix it and look like a good guy. Then do some romancing etc. and all will be good."

"That could work. What are we going to do that she would need to fix?"

I looked over to Ahri and we both shrugged. Turning to Nocturne I replied on Ahri's behalf:

"We… were hoping you would know. Unless you haven't realised we barely talk to Morgana. All I know is that her sister is Kayle."

"Hmm… she's building a house at the moment. We could do something with that."

"Why is she building a house?"

"How should I know?"

The serious tone of Nocturne's voice caused a simultaneous face-palm from both me and Ahri. It hurt more than I had expected but it was necessary pain for the stupidity of what he had just said. Ahri was the first to point out what he had said.

"You find stuff out like that by asking. Even if you're not interested you still have to talk about this stuff."

"Why?"

"What else are you going to talk about?"

"For the most part we talk about violent stuff and the various ways to disembowel Teemo."

"All is excused then."

"No all is not excused! How are you going to get anywhere in your relationship if you don't talk about anything important?"

"Luck?" Nocturne replied.

"Good guessing?" I added.

"Zoh stay out of this we will discuss it later. Actually never-mind. We are all going to talk about this at some point later. For now we are going to think up something that I and Zoh will do to help you get back on Morgana's good side."

"How about we just finish the house for her and skip all the difficulties?"

"That could work."

"We can do that in a few day's time. I still have to do a few concerts before I get any decent amount of spare time, thanks for that Zoh by the way."

"Don't be bitter it has gone well so far."

"Oh yeah it's all been just dandy so far. We used a robotic monster as crowd control, I saw some very disturbing drawings of me and you died. Seriously though who thinks up that stuff? Why would I use my tails like that? Ugh. Gives me shudders just thinking about it."

"I saw some of that stuff as well. In my opinion the worst part is that most of them weren't even well drawn."

"That would be the worst part for you wouldn't it? Mr stare-at-everything-I-can-whenever-I-have-a-chance."

"As amusing as this is I'm going to go now. It wouldn't look good if I was found near this pile of books about how women's mind's work." Nocturne announced before floating away.

"Can I just point out that you don't exactly call me out for it when I do?"

"You clearly enjoy it so I let you."

"Actually I think you just like the attention."

"Shut up I do not let you for the attention!"

"Just for attention…"

"Zoh I am so close to setting you on fire!"

I leaned my head in and whispered into her human ear:

"All for the attention."

My smile was broken by a harsh impact to my stomach. I keeled over slightly before falling on my back. Coughing a few times I tried to regain my breath as Ahri stared down at me smugly.

"Worth it." I jested, receiving a kick to my side in return.

"Stop talking Zoh. You're only making it worse for yourself."

"I think I will get some sleep now. Just give me five minutes."

A while later (17:00):

I sat down at the usual table with the only other occupant being Rengar. Ahri had walked off a minute ago saying something I didn't listen to. My presence was quickly noticed by Rengar who put down a slab of meat he had been eating to taunt me:

"Ah Zoh, I heard you were back from the dead. If I had been one of the assassins I would have done a much better job."

"Oh trust me I saw the wound my clone had. They did a very good job from what I can tell. But alas, it was just a clone the summoners made for a match a few days ago."

"Well I was going to attend the funeral but apparently a new void creature has arrived, so I went hunting for that instead."

"Good to know you have your priorities straight."

"Indeed. Also I notice that you're not with Ahri for the first time since we met."

"She's off doing… something. I wasn't listening when she said."

"Shouldn't you listen to stuff like that? Considering how you feel for her."

"How would you know how I feel about Ahri?"

"Shen told me everything. According to him you are blind to about half of said feelings."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Apparently you still count yourself as her friend because you still haven't realised that you love her as more than just a friend."

"You have no evidence that I feel that way about her."

"You literally could not make it more obvious if you tried. All of your time is spent together, she takes up all of your attention no matter what else is happening, you can't even look at her without smiling and for god's sake you two spend hours just enjoying each other's company in you room. Even I can see what's going on between you two! Argh your emotional blindness irritates me! I've got to go kill something just to cool down."

As Rengar faded away with an annoyed growl I pondered over what he had said. Surely he couldn't be right but the more I thought about it the more understood my own idiocy. Taking a second look at my feelings for her they were all the kind I would expect for someone I loved more than anything else. I mentally punched myself for my incompetence.

My first thought was how I would tell Ahri. I had to do it somewhere public so that she didn't jump me then and there. Secondly I had to think of how to say it. Being incredibly blunt would probably make her think I was joking, yet putting everything into it would make it worse if she didn't feel the same way. The thought alone made me think that saying nothing would also be an option. All the possibilities of Ahri rejecting me rushed through my head, causing some genuine panic.

My expression was beginning to show what I was thinking when I felt a hand rest on my shoulder.

"Zoh you look like something really bad is about to happen. There aren't any explosives in here right?"

"No it's nothing don't mind!"

"Please just try to make it more obvious something is up."

"Nothing is up don't worry about it!"

"Why are you shouting?"

"Because I haven't planned any of this!"

"Stop shouting it's getting weird." Ahri replied while taking a seat next to me.

"Wait! Hold on! Okay I'm done."

"So how about now you tell me what's got you acting weird?"

"I would very much prefer not to."

"Right now I'm deciding if I should have some fun guessing or just command you to tell me."

"How about neither?"

"So you would prefer I get it out of you in a more… private way."

"Is there a fourth option?"

"Nope."

"Can we talk about it in my room near the teleportation equipment… why would I say that last bit?"

"This has got you really worried. I'm enjoying it actually."

I was about to start shouting again when a summoner appeared at the head of the table. He gave us a wave before declaring:

"Hi. Bye."

In an instant we were somewhere I did not recognise. From what I could tell it was in Demacia just by the cleanliness yet lack of technology. I barely had time to look at my surroundings before Ahri shoved me onto a bed and sat on top of me.

"So then, let's start narrowing down what this is all about. Is it to do with any of our friends? Before you say anything just keep in mind that if you don't give a proper answer I'll choose one of the many things you don't like and have some fun that way."

"... Ah god damn! No it's not to do with our friends."

"Is it to do with me?"

"Yes."

"Hmm… is it about what happened earlier?"

"Nope."

"Is it something to do with the tour?"

"No."

"So it's about us and it has been enough to get you really worried… is it how you love me?"

"Yes…"

"Have your feelings changed for the worse?"

The worry in Ahri's voice and eyes broke something in me. It was a matter of her feelings and mine, so the choice was clear. I had to say it then or she would have got the wrong idea completely.

"Ahri you couldn't be more wrong. It's taken some time but I think I have finally worked out how I love you and, to put it simply, I have never loved someone more. There is nothing in this world or any other that could make me think less of you. Right now I don't care if you feel the same way, so long as you know that is how I think of you. Please just smile or something, you're making me sad just by looking that way."

Finally a smile spread across Ahri's face. A single tear rolled down her cheek yet her smile remained. Suddenly she wrapped her hands around my head and pulled me into a kiss. For the first time in as long as I remember it felt like what I was doing was justified and not just a result of my inability to control my desires. As we parted she pulled me into a hug so I wrapped my hands around her.

"I've never been so happy to hear something in my life. You might think I have no concept of this but I love you too."

"Don't think just because I said it you have to as well."

"I have never been so sure about anything in my life. I have put a lot of thought into this and I was waiting for you to say your feelings first."

"If that is truly how you feel then I think we can do a bit better than just a hug."

Ahri pulled her head back and flicked her hair over so that the ends tickled the side of my face. Her eyes locked onto mine as she slowly lowered her head down until it was barely an inch away from my face. Only now did her expression return to her usual seductive smile as she pressed her lips against mine. I was about to undo her top when a blue flash of light came from my left.

"There's so much I could write about here. Tabloid journalism is so easy with you two around."

At the sound of the summoners voice Ahri broke away and rested her head on my shoulder with a groan.

"Can we not just have a few hours of privacy?" I asked to no-one in particular.

"Why? What would you two get up to in that time?"

"A lot of things. None of them would include you."

"Given Ahri's newfound celebrity status, all of them should include me. The journal needs something to put on the cover and I can always count on you to fill it."

On the other side of the room the window suddenly opened fully. This took the attention of everyone in the room long enough for no-one to notice more blue light coming from the opposite side of the summoner. I turned my head just in time to see Shen flying through the air towards the summoner. With a crack Shen's jump-kicked the summoner so hard he flew a few metres out the window. Shen landed where the summoner had been and I knew under the mask he was actually smiling.

"I've always wanted to do that!" He exclaimed joyfully before being teleported away to god-knows where.

"That was… convenient."

I rested Ahri down next to me and went to close the window. Finally I got a good look at the room we were in. The room was circular with a slightly high ceiling. The door was on the opposite side to the window. On another side of the room was a fireplace which provided all the light, save for the slowly fading light coming from the window. The bed was a few metres from the fireplace, with the space in-between only being filled by the carpet which covered the entire floor in the room. Dotted around the room was all the stuff someone would expect in a bedroom. Out the window I could see that we were on the second floor, however we were still high enough up that the summoner was still tending to his back. Back in the room the only things that I could see moving were the fire and Ahri. She appeared to be attempting to get comfortable on top of the duvet but it was obvious she was having trouble.

Walking up behind her I lay down and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned to me and cuddled against me.

"I can't get comfortable without you here."

"Why would that be?"

"Since my first night as a human I have barely ever slept without you. It doesn't feel right on my own."

I slowly wrapped my arms around her and kissed her on the fore-head. One of my hands moved up behind her ear and got to work, causing her to let out a low purr. I got the impression that she wanted to get some sleep but would never admit it. Could never hurt to try though.

"Do you want to get some rest?"

"No we can't do anything if I'm asleep."

"What do you want to do?"

"Sex. I want to have sex."

"Hmm… no."

"What do you mean 'no'?"

"No, nope, negative, nay."

"But you said we would!"

"You're clearly too tired for whatever reason so I insist that you get some rest before we do anything at all."

"I'm not too tired! Even if I was doing it would wake me up! This is totally unfair!"

"Say whatever because in a few seconds you'll be asleep."

"How are you going to do that?"

"Vulcan nerve pinch."

Instantly she was asleep in my arms so I started stroking her hair, if for nothing else than to occupy my hands. She was still purring but it was much quieter now. I felt something on my shoulder and turned to see her tails were slowly dropping down all over. It was obvious that she was not moving them so I let them stay there.

Even though I really wanted to work out where we were I couldn't bring myself to leave Ahri out of a mix of enjoyment for what I was doing and fear of what she might do if she woke up to find me not there. Since I had nothing to do I let myself drift off to sleep.

An hour later (18:30):

Ahri POV

The first thing I did when I woke was to wonder what Zoh had done. In a split-second he had managed to make me fall into a deep sleep. Even without opening my eyes I could tell he was still lying there with me. I could feel his breath on the top of my head which meant I had moved while asleep and he made no attempts to stop me. I opened my eyes and looked up at him to check he was still sleeping, which he was. Despite what he had done I couldn't make myself angry at him after what he confessed to me. Even now I couldn't help but smile at the thought of Zoh loving me more than anything else. The thought made me hug ever so slightly tighter to him. Somehow this was enough to make him stir in his sleep.

He opened his eyes and was about to talk but I didn't want to hear it so I placed my index finger over his mouth.

"Not a word from you. That was a waste of time."

He pushed my hand down gently and moved in to kiss me. After a few seconds he broke away but only far enough to talk.

"Of all the things you could have used to keep me quiet, you chose your finger?"

"If one of us has to put effort into getting a kiss it's going to be you."

"A small price to pay. Now do you want to have a look around wherever the hell we are or just dive right in?"

"You know what; I think we should have a look around first."

"Good because I'd hate for someone to walk in on us."

Zoh moved his hands down to behind my upper legs. I got the idea so I wrapped my hands around his neck and soon enough he was carrying me towards the door. He pushed it open with his foot as I peered over my shoulder to have a look. Zoh walked out with me still in his arms to what looked like someone's house. We were on an indoor balcony which provided a view of the main room downstairs. In the middle of the room was a chandelier which I had a strange urge to swing on. Moving that to the back of my mind I watched as Zoh took me downstairs to where Shen was sitting with a newspaper in hand. Zoh put me down on a sofa then sat down next to me. Finally Shen realised we were there so he threw the newspaper behind him somewhere.

"Before you ask no we have not just stolen someone's house. This is what Demacians think hotels should be like. Also can I get an award for that kick? It would give it a forty eight out of fifty."

"So Demacians build houses instead of hotels? That doesn't seem very cost efficient."

"When you see the rest of Demacia you will realise money is not an issue around here."

"That's all well and good but if you wouldn't mind Shen we were about to do some private stuff which you won't want to be around for."

"Actually that reminds me I was supposed to do something with Akali tonight. I wonder what it was… eh I doubt it was important."

Shen walked to the front door but stopped just before opening it. He turned to us and clicked his fingers.

"Oh yes I just remembered you have been announced un-officially Zoh. The news of Ahri's mysterious friend being a new champion has circulated all over. On top of that your apparent death then not-quite-so has done nothing but add fuel to the fire. Fair warning though don't look at the newspapers with you on there. Many have given you in-appropriate labels which make you appear to be more of a toy than a friend."

Without another word Shen was gone leaving us alone. I couldn't hide my irritation that already people were making assumptions about my relationship. There was no reason for them to assume that just because I spent time with a man I treated him as some sort of boy-toy.

I started talking only to have an 'oof' come out as I was picked up by Zoh. He fire-man carried me up the stairs and walked into the bedroom. Dropping me on the bed he sat on top of me for once and dropped down to kiss me. I barely had time to think before he was taking off my clothes. It felt like he was a man on a mission for some reason. Seconds later he had got all my clothes off and broke apart from our kiss. Soon enough he was trailing kisses down my neck and chest. He spent some extra time on each breast before moving down further.

"I don't know what has come over you but I like it."

"I've been waiting for this for too long."

"What would 'this' be?"

"Sex knowing how I actually feel about you."

"You're doing- oh god!"

Zoh cut me off mid-sentence when he began kissing below my waist.

The next day (09:30):

I was pulled out of my dreams by a stroking on my cheek. It was the second time I had been awoken by that feeling. I opened my eyes to see Zoh staring lovingly at me.

"Not a bad way to wake up wouldn't you say?" He asked as he traced the marks of my whiskers with his finger.

"Not nearly as good as the way I went to sleep."

"Ah we can agree on that."

"I will say that this is the best way I have woken up so far. Although mostly because I feel so good after last night."

"Happy to help. I'm feeling pretty damn good as well."

"As well you should be, considering everything I did to make sure of it."

He pulled me in just close enough to plant a kiss on my lips.

"Consider that my thank you for the effort."

"Eh… good enough. One more thing is there any chance of you getting me some coffee?"

"What's that?"

"You don't have coffee where you're from? How strange."

"Actually I think I have a button for something similar. Hmm…"

He reached behind his back and picked up some sort of red button. He gave it a press and for a moment I thought nothing had happened. It took me a moment to realise Zoh was staring at me guiltily.

"I may have made… a mistake."

I tried to say something but only a low whine came out. Zoh turned the button around so that the blank shiny metal side was facing me. I could just about make out in my reflection that somehow I was a fox again.

"I could revert it but I kind of don't want to. This is quite funny."

The only way I could respond was to growl angrily at him and clearly he got the message.

"Maybe I shouldn't antagonise the fox while I'm nude."

He pressed the button again and I could feel that I was back to normal. The first thing I did was to punch him in the gut.

"Don't ever press that button again! Why do you even make stuff like that?"

"I made it on an off day back on my planet. It didn't do anything but I can't say no to a big red button so I kept it. Apparently it does that."

"Do you have any other mysterious buttons I should know about?"

"Well…"

With the press of another button I felt all my tails were gone and when I checked my extra ears were gone as well. This was what I had originally wanted but at that moment I couldn't decide if it was a good or bad thing. At that point I thought I knew what Zoh would think but he was eager to prove me wrong.

"I guess you prefer this over the normal me."

"If you remember we have talked about this before. Once again I will say that I prefer the normal you. All the extra stuff makes you more unique than already and, for reasons I don't quite understand, they also make you more attractive."

With another push of the button everything was back as normal. It was nice to be fully human for a few moments but it was not near as amazing as I thought it would be. Having Zoh prefer me tails and all felt like a bonus.

"You know what? I think this one time I can say no to a button. Even if it is big and red."

From no-where he pulled out his axe and used it to utterly destroy both buttons. He threw his axe behind him then turned to stare at me again.

"If I was a stranger looking in on this conversation I would think you were weird. Who in their right mind would throw away a chance to live with another human and not… me?"

"Two things I can say to that. First being that I am clearly not I have not been in my right mind for quite some time now and second being that I fell in love with you as you are in front of me now. Despite that if you changed what you look like I would still love you because everything about you is perfect for me."

"It's taken some time but you have convinced me. We could both enjoy some more evidence though."

Zoh pulled me towards him and we shared another kiss. His hands moved down until they were just above my waist. I decided that wasn't far enough so I used a few of my tails to push his hands down further. He pleasantly surprised me by putting up no resistance what-so-ever. After a few more seconds I pulled away and smiled at him.

"I was just wondering: why were you so forward after Shen left? You caught me completely off guard."

"The reason I said we should look around first was because I knew Shen was there. As soon as he was gone I got on with what I assumed you wanted."

"Even so I didn't expect you to be so willing."

"Well that's because on my planet this week is where the men have to do whatever they can to make the women happy. I would wonder where the tradition came from but it's easier to just accept it."

"How come you haven't been like this all week?"

"It's bad luck if you do stuff for girls you're not in a sexual relationship with."

"We basically have been though."

"Yeah but I counted that as us being friends who have way too many one night stands."

"You can never have too many one night stands Zoh."

"Technically we can't have them anymore."

"Thankfully it doesn't make that much of a difference. Sex is sex no matter what you call it. Speaking of which how about we have another round or two?"

"As much as I would love to it's going to have to wait."

"Why? There's plenty of time before the concert and Demacia doesn't look very fun or interesting."

"That's a bit cruel to the locals but anyway I don't want us to do that stuff every day."

"Once again, why? It's so much fun."

"You see that is the problem. If we do it every day it will get less and less fun. Neither of us wants that."

"How would you know if it gets dull or not?"

"Like everyone I had a friend who did that stuff all the time. It got boring for him. I won't make the same mistake."

"When can we have sex then?"

"I don't know honestly. My best guess would be every three days or so."

"So I'm not really getting anything new from being your girlfriend?"

"I wouldn't say that. At least now you know for sure that we can do stuff every few days. And there's all the other stuff we can do. Unfortunately some of it includes me having to put in more effort or getting you gifts etc. etc. etc."

"As long as you don't build the gifts I'll be okay with that. Don't take this as an insult but the things you make are not exactly… safe."

"Maybe for people like you who don't have protection that is true. Of course I could-"

"Stop right there. Before you say anything I am not going to wear armour of any kind."

"Aw that's no fun. I guess I'll be buying you gifts instead. How irritating."

"Speaking of gifts, don't think that dying has got you out of my day of beauty. I'm still expecting you to sort that out."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Can we get going?"

"Fine. Where are we going then?"

"There's someone I want to talk to here."

"Who?"

"That's for me to know and you to find out."

We both jumped out of bed and got dressed. At some point the damn summoner changed my tails and hair again. I didn't notice until Zoh pointed it out, causing me to growl angrily. Surely that sort of thing could wait until the actual concert but I guess not.

Zoh chuckled at my anger, making my mood worse still. I crossed my arms as we left while Zoh got his armour on. For some reason he thought it was necessary so that people would not bother him so I just accepted it and continued walking.

A while later (14:00):

They all smashed their tankards on the table at the same time. Somehow they were all still awake after god knows how many drinks. Zoh, Gragas, Jarvan and Garen had being going at this for a while now while I sat to the side, sipping on some wine and generally enjoying the attempts at speech the group was making.

We were in a massive dinner hall owned by Jarvan's father, the king, who was also sitting to the side. I expected he was doing the same thing I was, but I couldn't care less really. A few waitresses took away the empty tankards and replaced them with filled ones. The group glared at each other and began drinking once again. Somehow Gragas didn't appear to be affected by the drinks at all. He had not said anything for a while so I could not tell if it had done anything at all, though considering his size it was okay to assume he could take quite a lot.

After a few more seconds they all finished their drinks once more and this time Garen called for more drinks. He put his hand in the air as he did so and that was somehow enough to make him lose his balance and tip back on his chair. He fell to the ground and was instantly asleep. Some guards picked him up and carried him out, still asleep.

They walked out the door as a young blonde woman walked in. She stared at Garen and the guards for a few seconds before making her way over to me and sitting next to me.

"Hey. It's Ahri right?"

"Yeah. I saw you in a match at some point… uh… Lux, is it?"

"Yep. Nice to meet you. Should I ask what happened to my brother or not?"

"At some point this lot agreed to a drinking contest. He fell off his chair and that was that."

"When he wakes up I'm going to have so much fun. Garen with a hangover is so entertaining. So who are you here with?"

"The one with the banner and axe."

"He does realise it's not Halloween right?"

"That is just his normal look. He's from another planet."

"Hmm… interesting. I think I have seen him around the League actually. One of the few men there who is not ninety nine per cent muscles, one per cent brains. The few who aren't are mostly Yordles."

"True that. I saw that Tryndamere guy a few days ago. I don't want to have a fight with him any time soon."

"Yeah. Hey I should probably tell you I saw Rengar and Nocturne walking out of what I think is your room a few days ago carrying more explosives than they probably know what to do with. You should be careful of those two."

"I wouldn't worry about them too much. They're both friends of ours somehow."

"… You're friends with… Nocturne? How?"

"He won't like me telling you this but him and Morgana are in a relationship and that has made him way less murderous."

"If they are dating how do they… you know…"

"I don't know. It's probably best to not think about it."

"What about Rengar? He prefers life alone as far as I remember."

"We knocked Ezreal out a few times and that was enough to make him like us."

"Ugh don't remind me of that guy. He keeps making moves on me but I'm too nice to shoot him down so I avoid the subject."

"He tried the same thing on me once but I couldn't give a damn how he feels. Maybe I could help you out with him some time?"

"That would be great. Wait a second I just remembered didn't that guy die?"

"Who, Zoh? Nah it was just a clone."

"I can't believe Katarina and Talon were fooled by a clone. It's not like them."

"How do you know who killed the clone?"

"Everyone knows the story. Including what you and him did a few hours before…"

"What the hell! How do people know this stuff? It's supposed to be private."

"The Journal of Justice did a story on it. And… well… it had pictures… there is a good side though."

"Where is the good side in this?"

"The pictures didn't show either of your faces at any point. Though your tails do kind of give it away. They're really nice by the way."

"Thanks I guess."

"This is a bit awkward but… can I have a feel? They look so fluffy."

"Yeah sure."

I moved one of my tails over to Lux who stroked it. She continued doing that while talking:

"This feels really nice. How did you get them?"

"I used to be a fox. After some magic and a lot of luck I ended up like this."

"If you were a fox why are they pink?"

"Blame the summoners. Normally they are white but apparently they have to be like this for some concerts I'm doing. Similar thing for my hair, which is supposed to be black."

"So you made the mistake of telling them you could sing. Not very smart."

"I didn't tell them. He did." I replied while pointing to Zoh.

"Is he a mean person or did he not realise how bad of an idea that is."

"The idea was that we do this so that I could be announced early to get the assassins to back off."

"But you didn't announce him, why…?"

"I think his pride stopped him. He thought he could fight them. Apparently not."

"Never a very smart idea. Looks like Jarvan is about to go out."

I turned my attention to the table where Jarvan was swaying on his chair lazily. He put his hand half way up and slurred something. With a slamming sound he hit the ground face-first. Some guards walked over and picked him up. Their expressions showed this happened all too often. They left leaving only Zoh and Gragas on the table.

"A poor showing for Demacia today."

"Yeah, both out already. Something I have been wondering: why does your friend look human if he is from another planet?"

"… Genuinely no idea. The only major difference between people from this planet and him is that his facial hair changes his voice."

"This is really something you should ask him. I'm sure as hell not going to."

"I will at some point. Though I think it will take some effort to make him talk."

"I'm sure someone in your position could find some ways to… let's say persuade him."

"Therein lays the problem. Today he said we should only mess around once every few days."

"And you agreed to this?"

"Well, no, but-"

"Clearly this is the first time you have been in this kind of relationship. You don't have a schedule for this kind of stuff; you just do it when you both want to. For you, I get the feeling that getting him in the mood won't be too hard."

"How old are you?"

"Old enough to have some experience in this. But don't tell my dad that."

"I don't even know who your dad is so I think you're fine."

"Okay good. By the way you might want to look at that."

My gaze turned back to the table to see Zoh stumbling in the direction of the door very slowly.

"This must be the signal I should go. It was nice talking to you Lux."

"Likewise. Goodbye for now."

I finished my drink and walked away. With a wave to Lux I caught up to Zoh and patted him on the shoulder. He turned to me and leaned in to get a better look.

"Did… wait… ugh… yeah! Um. When… did… uh… you! Get… here?"

"I came in with you."

"No, no, no, no, no, no. Wait… you d-… did."

"Come on let's get back to the hotel thing."

"Ooh I would love to! Hold it… would I?"

"Yes I'm sure you would."

Half an hour later (15:00):

I laid Zoh down in bed carefully, making sure not to let him hurt himself somehow. He put his hand on my shoulder and looked as if he was about to say something but instead just dropped to sleep. I was about to walk away but he grabbed onto my wrist before I could take a step.

"I'd just, like to say… good luck with… uh… whatever it was… you were doing."

"Thanks. Now get to sleep."

He smiled at me before slumping back to sleep. His words didn't really mean anything considering how drunk he was but the sentiment was there. From behind me I heard someone cough to get my attention. When I turned I saw Shen standing there hopping up and down.

"Hey Ahri I just found some coffee and now I'm really hyper and we should get going and you can sing and I can get more coffee and we can have fun!"

"How much coffee have you had?"

"Three litres or so."

"Remind me not to let Zoh try that stuff."

One concert later (19:00):

Shen jogged ahead once again to check for nothing in particular. He turned back to me, still jumping up and down, and motioned for me to hurry up. It had been a long concert so I was having none of it.

"If you want to get back so badly just go. I can't be killed and I have magic so it will be fine."

"Yay! I'm going to go do crazy stuff to Akali!"

He teleported away and I walked through the streets alone. I didn't have any worries about safety. The assassins were no longer interested and I could kill anyone else with relative ease. The fact that the only way to get back to home was through an alleyway still gave me the creeps. I had barely taken five steps before I heard someone behind me.

"Hey beautiful. Where'd your friend go?"

I twirled around to glare at him for a moment.

"He went home. Just like I'm doing. Now if you'll excuse me."

At first I took a few steps backwards before turning around to walk away. I could hear he was still following me but before I could turn around I had been shoved against the wall.

"Don't turn your back to me! I like the front much more…"

I tried to create my orb but only got a puff of smoke. The same thing happened for everything else I tried and soon I was getting very worried.

"Ah so this magic blocking thing has already paid off. Incredible what the summoners can do when you pay them enough."

I tried to struggle against him but to no avail. He threw me harshly to the floor which knocked the air out of my lungs. I could hear him un-buckling his belt so I tried to push myself up; however before I could he pushed me back down with his foot. My normal confidence was now fully replaced by fear, enough so that tears were beginning to appear in my eyes. He kneeled down on me, making sure to keep my arms pinned to the ground. By now I was sobbing un-controllably praying that someone would help.

He was about to expose me when a crashing sound came from further down the alleyway. A wave of dust blew past us but I could not look up to see what it was. I only realised what had happened when I felt the man be pulled off me and thrown away like nothing. Finally I could turn and a wave of relief came over me to see Zoh standing with the man in a choke-hold.

"What the hell do you think you were doing?"

"I was just enjoying all that Demacia had to offer when you came along. Now if you look the other way I will forget the pain in my back."

"My girlfriend is not on offer!"

"Look man I didn't realise okay?"

"No it is not okay. This is the opposite of okay. Now, you will suffer."

Zoh threw the man against the wall again causing cracking sounds to come from his direction. The man got to his knees while Zoh drew his axe. With a few swings the man had nothing but stubs for arms. He screamed out in pain for a few moments before his legs were removed from under him. The wailing sound intensified as Zoh picked the man up by his head. Zoh brought the man to eye level and wiped his axe on the man's torso.

"There are some people that you should not mess with on the best of days. Right now I have a hangover so you couldn't be in a worse situation. The fact that you tried to defile the person I love most, well… that just doesn't sit right with me. But you know what? I'm a merciful kind of guy so I won't make you suffer through this for much longer. Putting you out of your misery will be a service to this world as a whole so who am I to let you suffer? Of course I can enjoy this for a few more seconds. It's like music to my ears."

The screaming went on while I curled up against the wall. Zoh finally gave an approving nod and severed the man's head from his body. He threw the head to the side and walked over to me. His armour disappeared while he kneeled down in front of me.

"Ahri are you… okay?"

I nodded in reply and pulled Zoh into a hug.

"Did he hurt you?"

"N- no…"

"I'm so, so sorry I wasn't here with you. It will never happen again."

"I'm sorry too. I told Shen I would be fine but…"

"No Ahri. You have nothing to be sorry about. Let's get home now."

He picked me up and carried me back. I was still holding back the tears all the way. Occasionally Zoh would wipe them away and give me a kiss, which helped slightly. Eventually we arrived back and he took me straight up-stairs. After tucking me in he kissed me on the forehead and went downstairs. A few minutes later he returned with a cup in his hands.

"I got the coffee you wanted earlier…"

"Can we just go to sleep? I want to forget about today."

"Okay then."

He set the coffee down to one side and got in bed next to me. I turned around to hug him and he returned the gesture.

"While I'm here nothing bad will happen to you. Just get some sleep."

I drifted off to sleep in Zoh's arms while trying to keep the memories out of my head. That was the first time I had just wanted to cuddle and not have sex, even though I knew he would if I asked.

I hate writing about subjects like that… really difficult.

But anyways I decided to put the 'properly love each other' bit in this chapter because Valentine's Day was a few days ago so it seemed fitting. That is also why most of this chapter is happy sexy fun times.

On another note well done to xudxb123 who is the only person putting effort into the little game I thought up a few chapters ago. Thanks for the effort :D.

So yeah there was another shout-out. I want to do a few of them every once in a while for whatever reason I feel like. Which could be fun.

One thing I forgot to mention before is that I am from England so words like 'realise' are spelled with an 's' but because I watch a lot of American television other words will probably be spelled like an American would. It is really irritating but there's not much I can do about it so we're all going to have to deal with it.

Also may I say that this series has got way bigger than I had originally expected so I would like to say thanks to everyone who for some reason has read this. It's a hell of a lot to read so well done!

I hope you enjoyed reading the chapter as I did writing it and I will see you all next Sunday! Probably!
