Welcome back everyone to whatever the hell this series has become!
Good news first of all! I have found my thesaurus and dictionary! So word variety might increase. It might not… but the hope is there. And that's all that really matters.
Slightly less good but still okay news now. A person by the username of TheAethus has given me a bunch constructive criticism that I myself have noticed recently. The main idea's here are that I should: improve the dialogue and make it more natural feeling, detail the environments more (leaving a bit less to the imagination basically), describe the characters feelings better and finally to make the characters more defined. Seems do-able to me.
And of course there must be some bad news. That being, I have absolutely no idea how to transfer files from my current pc to my new one which will be arriving in mere days. God only knows where my USB stuff has gone so I may have to get more. This isn't really a worry for you guys but for me it's more effort than I want to put into my new pc which is supposed to be a relaxing time. Bah I say!
End of notes!
Chapter 16: Consolidation
Through my closed eyes I could see the light that surrounded me. The normal absolute blackness had been replaced by a red glow. Foolishly I opened my eyes to be temporarily blinded by the sun from the window. I looked away from the window and found myself staring at a still sleeping Zoh. He was smiling in his sleep which somehow brought a smile to my face as well.
Somewhere along the line I had grown to care for this man but I was not quite sure when or how. We had almost nothing in common and so far I had done nothing to deserve his affection. The thoughts made me question if my reasons for loving him were what I thought they were. Surely I could not feel like that for someone just because of sex.
My mood changed suddenly as I remembered what happened yesterday. Shudders went down my spine at the thought of that evil man. I had no idea humans could be so horrid before then. Then I recalled how I got out of his grasp. How did Zoh know what was happening? I had been so traumatised it completely skipped my mind. For once I would get answers as soon as the questions came up.
Pinching Zoh on the nose he woke up almost instantly. For a few seconds he looked very confused then he spotted me and calmed down. A frown appeared on his face, followed by a long sigh.
"I thought we were over that?"
"We will never be over that. The reason I woke you is I have questions you need to answer."
"… Couldn't this wait?"
"Nope. So then, how did you know what was happening in that alley?"
"Shen came to see me to remind me to not drink coffee or something and since you were not there I went looking. I made my way along some rooftops and eventually heard sobbing. When I found the source of the noise… you know the rest."
"Unfortunately I do. Can I ask why you had to do that to him? He never actually got anywhere. Don't get me wrong I would have killed him as well but to do it in such a painful way… it's not like you."
"Since you have known me you must have realised I'm prone to violent out-bursts. They can be caused by quite a few things but it's mostly when something goes against my morals. This case, however, it was because what he tried to do to you, then to expect me to be okay with it. Had I not known you I would have probably killed him anyway. Just less violently maybe."
"How come you have no memory of the first time this happened at the Noxian camp but this time you do?"
"If I knew I would tell you. It's probably something I could find out but it would take time out of my day that I could spend blowing stuff up."
"Are you not even slightly interested in finding this out?"
"Nope."
I raised my eyebrow to him which he simple shrugged off. His lack of interest irritated me slightly but it was only his loss in reality.
There was no need to press that subject further so I went on with the next thing I wanted to discuss:
"I realise that we talked about this yesterday but… while you and your friends were destroying your livers I had a conversation with Lux."
"Another woman? I'm in trouble now…"
"Shush. So we got talking and she gave me some advice on what we should do in terms of sex scheduling… ugh that's an odd way to put it."
"Ooh I'm looking forward to this." He replied sarcastically. I could not tell if he was even going to take this seriously but that was not going to phase me.
"She explained that we really should not have a schedule and instead just do it when we both want to. Key word being 'both'. So there is a chance I won't gain anything from this."
"I like the idea but I see a flaw. The problem is you want to all the time and you're really good at making me want to."
"You never appear to get excited. Even when I sit, while nude, on top of you."
"My people are good at hiding that stuff. Generations of men suppressing that eventually made it an in-built thing."
"That is a very odd thing to evolve."
"Very helpful though."
The conversation was going no-where until I thought back to one of the ways which I constricted ages ago. I had said I would not be able to tell him what to do sexually until I had got him to say we were dating on his own. While I could not recall the exact words I knew they were along those lines. All the possibilities brought a smile to my face which quickly turned seductive.
"That expression can't be good for me." Zoh uttered.
"Remember when I said I wouldn't order you to do anything sexual?"
"Yeah of course I do. Why?"
"Remember how it was only until…"
"Until I admitted we were a couple... bugger."
"Yes, 'bugger'."
"Any chance I can bargain with the help of my axe?" Zoh asked while showing off the axe that was suddenly in his hand. A hopeful smile spread across his face which quickly receded when my expression remained.
"You couldn't really use this against me, could you…?" I insisted while tracing my left index finger along the blade of his axe, being careful not to press too hard.
"There are two things I'm finding hard to believe here. First being how you are not cutting yourself on that and second being how you can act like this after what happened yesterday." He pondered as he threw his axe backwards, though I did not hear it hit the ground.
"Don't mind how I'm dealing with that, it's in the past. For now, just focus on me. Resist if you want to. I like a challenge." I murmured while moving forward until the end of my nose touched his.
"As much as I would love to I'm not sure if I can… damn hormones!"
"Where's your precious will now?"
"Not where it needs to be, clearly."
"If you're not going to put up a fight just keep quiet and let me do the work…"
"You are worryingly good at this-"
I cut him off by pressing my lips against his. At the time I was not sure why he was being so easy but that didn't put me off. I closed my eyes to enjoy the moment while guiding my tails to curl around him. My arms followed suit so that I could pull him towards me with ease. His attention was clearly elsewhere as he didn't notice me spinning so that I was sitting on top of him. I preferred being on top for a multitude of reasons but the main one was that I could control both our movements without a problem.
"This is a really nice moment and all but uh… goodbye!"
Before I could even open my eyes we were back in our room at the League. That summoner was consistently finding ways to irritate me. It took me a moment to realise how cold it was in the room. I felt a shiver make its way down my body, followed by goose bumps appearing all over. Zoh's wandering hands felt this so he pulled away from me. I rested my head on his chest with my eyes still closed. Unfortunately his worry for my well-being was stronger than his lust so my chance had come and gone, which was both sad and annoying.
"Don't worry Ahri we can get back to this later. For now, however, you need to get some clothes on. We still have most of the day left and, to be honest with you, I don't want to spend it with a headache."
"You appeared to be okay with that a minute ago."
"Yeah I'm not sure about that. I guess the positives out-weighed the negatives in my mind."
"And they don't now?"
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"I think it's because I have not had the perfect shot of your uh… chest mounds… for long enough that I can let it wait."
"Chest mounds? Really?"
"Saying the other word is a pet peeve of mine. It's like swearing in regular conversation, I just can't stand it."
"You swear all the time though."
"Not when I'm talking to someone. It's mostly when I'm on fire or in some sort of un-satisfactory situation."
"How did we get to talking about this?"
"I don't know, something about you and your womanly bits. Doesn't matter now though, we have stuff to do."
I grumbled some kind of response as Zoh rolled me over and off of him. Hoping that I might be able to lure him back I crossed one arm over my stomach and the other covered my eyes. Most of my tails patted out the bed next to me while a few made drew circles on various parts of my body. I stretched out my legs but bent my right knee to cover a small amount.
Sadly my attempts at looking inviting failed as he made no attempt to join me. Instead, he picked me up by the waist and carried me over his shoulder. By this point flirting would be more effective than trying something serious.
"Are you taking me somewhere or did you just want a better look at my butt?"
"If you're not going to get yourself dressed I'm going to do it for you."
Zoh stopped and put me down in front of him. I opened my eyes to see him looking me up and down with a smile.
"Had someone said I would be in this situation a few weeks ago I would have questioned their sanity. Right now I'm questioning my own for not enjoying this some more. But my mind is made so we're going to help Nocturne today."
With that he walked away causing me to get a bit annoyed. Whatever he was doing I was not happy about it.
"Where are you going?"
"Your room. What, did you expect to wear some of my clothes or something?"
"No but…"
"Exactly. I'll be right back."
He walked out the door leaving me alone in his room. I heard him open the door to my room and walk in. Seconds later he shouted through the wall to me:
"Why do you have ten sets of the same outfit?"
"It's my favourite one."
"So you need ten sets of it?"
"Yeah. I do have other stuff as well though."
"You have a grand total of three other outfits. There's your fancy dress all-red thing, which isn't really an option. There's some sort of frilly, black thing that I don't understand and then there is the stuff you wear for concerts."
"I'd say that's plenty."
"What about all the stuff I carried around when you went shopping?"
"I decided I didn't really like any of it so I burnt it."
He was taking quite some time so I was genuinely getting cold. I wrapped my tails around me and was pleasantly surprised to see them all their normal white colour. Through the wall I could hear Zoh getting angry about something. Suddenly I heard some crashing and he walked through the door holding an entire drawer with some clothes draped over the top of it.
Zoh dropped the stuff in front of me and sighed at it. I peeked down at it to see it was my underwear drawer.
"It's like a god damn rainbow in there! How the hell do you choose between all that?"
"I just pick at random."
"Go ahead and pick some then. Also was I correct to assume you don't want a bra? I have never seen you wear one with your normal clothes before."
"Of course you were right. It's much harder to seduce you when I'm covered up properly." I replied while pointing randomly into the drawer.
"I shouldn't have even asked."
Zoh got onto his knees and tapped my leg. I lifted it up, repeating the action for the other leg. He pulled them up most of the way but stopped suddenly. I was confused for a moment until I felt him plant a quick kiss between my legs.
"Don't tease me!"
"Expect similar things to happen every time you refuse to get dressed on your own."
I was very annoyed by that but decided it would be best to get him back for it later. Before I could plot my revenge properly Zoh was pulling my arms up, catching my attention. I was going to question him about it but silenced myself when he pulled my clothes over me. He went round to my back and pushed my hair out of the way.
"Ah wonderful this one has a clip instead of hundreds of knots and zips like the last one."
"Yeah this one is made for me to be able to get off alone."
"So you had planned on making me undress you for a while?"
"Why of course I did. In fact, I plan every move I make well in advance. It gives me time to think up solutions for all possible problems."
"Okay then. What would you have done if I said no?"
"I would have reminded you that it was not optional."
"You do understand that there is nothing making me do what you say apart from my honour right?"
I twirled around and grinned at him.
"But your honour is the most important thing to you."
"No that title goes to my armour." He replied with a cheesy smile.
"But you can't have sex with your armour. At least, I hope you can't. For both our sakes."
"Why would I do that when I have you? It is probably your most practiced skill after all."
"I'm not too sure about that. I have spent a lot of time working on my seduction techniques."
"Let me guess: I was the test dummy for most of them."
"Who else am I going to test them on?"
"Well, just in case you want feedback, that one you were doing a second ago was very good."
"Didn't seem to work very well."
"All I will say is that I got very close to undressing again, but as we both know I'm very stubborn so it didn't work."
"Before we leave can I just ask what your worst fears are? I feel like I could make something work out of them."
"Sharks, zombies and dying."
"Hmm… no there's nothing I can make of that. I have to ask though, why are you afraid of dying? Seems like something you would do merrily to save others."
"I would but I would still be afraid of it. There's so much I can still do for the world that I really don't want to miss out those opportunities. Also I'm not too fond of the idea of you being with someone else. I hate myself for feeling like that but I can't change it."
"You shouldn't hate yourself for that. It's just your minds way of saying it doesn't want to share me. And I hadn't planned on being with anyone else."
"How would you know what my mind thinks?"
"I've worked it out over the time we have known each other. It got more difficult when the charm was broken but I still have a pretty good idea."
"Is there any part of me you have not worked out or I have not told you about?"
I thought it over for a second and came up with a few things I didn't know. However, he didn't have to know that and I could use it to my advantage. For a moment I supressed a smile then put on my best thinking face, even going so far as to rub my chin and look slightly up.
"No I can't think of anything. So far you have been like an open book."
"At some point that fact is going to come back and bite me in the arse."
"Probably. Who knows?"
We began walking out the room and got half way there before I decided it wouldn't hurt to try my luck.
"Any chance I can order you to stay?"
"Blitzcrank is still across the courtyard waiting for my order. So no."
Only when Zoh moved out of the way for me to walk through the door did I see that he was wearing a black suit without a tie. The top button of his shirt was undone as were all the buttons on his jacket. For a moment I just stood there looking at him, fascinated by why he was wearing that. Finally I managed to question him on it:
"Any reason you're wearing a suit?"
"Suits are cool."
"You chose to wear a suit on the one day we are actually going to do physical work?"
"Yeah. Don't worry I'll be in my armour so this stuff will be fine. Also I'm not sure why this is so incredible but I have a pocket watch with the little flip-up thing." He exclaimed while pulling out a watch from his jacket pocket. When he flipped it open I was slightly disappointed to see that the picture on the inside was not of me. Instead, it was of a watermelon mid-explosion which replaced my disappointment with confusion.
"Well that is nice and all but I'm quite confused by the picture."
"It's the first thing I ever blew up accidentally. I think I was about five at the time."
"You sir, had a terrible childhood." I asserted as I poked at his chest with my left index finger. He brushed my hand away so I walked out the door.
"It wasn't that bad. It wasn't good either but it wasn't bad."
We walked around the League for a while without sight of Nocturne. When we got into the lobby I decided to try and start up a proper conversation:
"So should we be holding hands or something? I don't really get how human relationships work to be honest."
"If you want to I'd be okay with it. I'm not saying I understand why but if you think it's necessary go ahead."
I moved my hand over to grab onto his. To make it more comfortable I entwined my fingers between his.
"Maybe we are not the best people to be giving out dating advice to our friends."
"Personally I think we have done a good job so far."
"But we don't even know about the most basic things like this."
"I think it works because I'm good at guessing this stuff and you know way too much about the more 'intimate' parts of dating."
"The thing is I'm not even sure why I know that stuff. You're the only person I have done anything with."
"I won't lie when I found that out the practical way I was quite surprised."
"That's just rude."
"Ugh, you took that the wrong way. What I mean is I thought you did it with those men before you killed them."
"I very much wanted to but I didn't have nearly enough time. If I had it would have taken too long and you would have got worried. However for you I did plan on having some fun first. So even if I had gone along with the original plan I would have still spent a night or two with you."
"So what made you decide against it anyway?"
"I couldn't bring myself to do it. Also you were, and still are, interesting so I wanted to find out more. Those are the two reasons that you owe your life. Those are also two reasons that I would not have had if not for human emotions."
"The mistake you made was waiting too long. If you made your move earlier it could have worked."
"Actually back then it took time for the charm to get stronger. By the time it was powerful enough I had already decided against the plan."
"That's the problem with magic. It's so unreliable. That is also why I don't use it."
"If so what did you do when I told you about the whole charm thing?"
"A lot of nano-machines. Like, a lot."
"You once again forget that I'm not a scientist."
"A nano-machine is kind of like a robot. But very, very small. And there are tons of them."
"That doesn't explain what you did."
"To put it extremely simply I released some and commanded them to block out the light to give me a tactical advantage."
"How come they didn't explode like everything else you make?"
"That is the wonderful part they do explode. All the time. But they also have explosive-proof bodies. I don't know how it works but it does so I don't question it."
"Nothing you create ever makes sense to me. A lot of it doesn't make sense to you either from what I can tell."
"There's some truth in that. Maybe I could teach you the basics of technology at some point."
"I would rather not. It's not really my kind of thing."
"Okay. We'll have to find something else to do to fill time."
"Oh yeah. Once this tour is over I'll have barely anything to do."
"At some point I will come up with a few ideas."
From seemingly no-where nocturne floated out in front of us. He was wearing a hard-hat and a fluorescent jacket.
"I've been looking for you guys. Come on, we have a house to build!"
With a flash of blue light we were in the familiar territory of Ionia. The sun was still high in the sky and ahead of us was the ocean. I was stood on a high cliff which gave a good view of the surrounding countryside. When I turned the first thing I saw was the skeleton of a house which I assumed was what we would be working on. On either side of that were trees which were lower on the hill than the house. Behind the house the terrain seemed to fall off the edge of the world. Further away still were the rolling hills of Ionia which I had missed since we left. A few clouds dotted the sky but not enough to make me worry.
Taking a closer look at the house the only parts which had been completed were the support beams and the floors. For a moment I looked around for the building equipment without success until another blue flash came from just to the right side of the house. When the light subsided I saw a huge pile of materials from wood planks to stone slabs.
"This could take a while…" I muttered as Zoh and Nocturne got to work.
Many hours later (17:00):
Zoh POV
Every time I looked over to what Ahri was doing she seemed more and more tired, while also being less and less bothered with the task at hand. We had taken breaks every once in a while but they achieved little in terms of getting back her energy. Nocturne was clearly fine to go on like this for as long as he wanted and I could go on for a few more hours before boredom got the better of me.
After seeing her sit down for five minutes doing nothing I decided it would be best for her to give it a rest for the day. I threw my hammer somewhere behind me and walked over to her. Sitting down next to her I gave her a nudge on the shoulder with my elbow.
"Do you want to go home now? I'm going to stay for a little while longer but you can go back."
"No I want to stay and help."
"I would prefer this take a little while longer but be done well. Clearly you're not going to be doing good work in this state."
"Fine. When are you going to get back?"
"Would you be able to entertain yourself for an hour?"
"Yeah that should be fine."
"I would give you a kiss but this armour makes that very difficult."
Ahri smiled at me and stood up. She leaned down slightly to give me a kiss, which I happily accepted. When she pulled away I put my helmet on and tapped the side of it a few times to get it working.
"Hey summoner can you send Ahri back to our room please?"
"Yeah no problem. And thank you for saying please. Much nicer than the other champions who just shout a place at me and expect to get teleported."
Moments later Ahri was gone and I took off my helmet. I stared at the last un-finished wall on the bottom floor and scratched the back of my head.
"I'll finish that then go back." I shouted to Nocturne while pointing at the wall.
"Ah good. I'm going to stay overnight to finish the roof."
I gave him a thumbs-up and got up. First things first I had to find my hammer.
Half an hour later (17:30):
Having finished early I decided to go back and find what Ahri was doing. Having asked around no-one had seen her so I guessed she was doing something in our room. When I walked in I could not see nor hear her. First I checked my room then hers to find nothing. I tried to think what would be on her priorities list and the first thing that came to mind was sex but clearly she wasn't doing that. Deciding that maybe she was hungry I went to the kitchen and was once again greeted by a room void of life. Finally I walked over to the island button and pressed it.
The moment I spotted her my heart dropped. She was curled up at the other end of the hot spring crying. I walked around the water's edge until I was behind her. I was still fully clothed but I wanted to comfort her as soon as possible so I kicked away my shoes and got in the water next to her. She was holding her knees up and had her head buried between them. I slowly moved my arms around her. When Ahri felt this she initially flinched away but when she saw who it was she moved closer to me.
"How could someone try that? Why would someone do that to me?"
"Some people don't care for other's feelings or rights. All he saw in you was a new victim."
"And what do you see in me? I'm sat here crying after some tried to rape me. What kind of person does that?"
"Ahri you know what I see in you. You're a wonderful woman who knows exactly what she wants and exactly how to get it. You are always findings new ways of making my life better and every day when I wake up to see you smiling I realise that life is worth living. Your only problem in my eyes is that you choose to deal with these problems alone when I am with you every day. I want to help you but you won't let me."
"But if I do this every time something bad happens we won't have sex."
"That is just a fact you're going to have to get used to. If, after we talk about it, you are still up for it then go right ahead. Take this as an example. In a few hours if you want to have sex then we can, so long as I feel you have properly got over this and not just held it inside."
"I'm over it now but I can't stop crying."
"Tell me about it and we can work it out together."
An hour later (18:30):
"You know I feel like this would be a good time to tell you something I found out a few days ago. In some spare time I checked on the effects of the passive charm effect I use. For the most part it was all that I expected until I found one minor part which I thought was very interesting and quite funny. Basically the idea of it is that one of my bodily fluids is mildly addicting which means that, for someone in like you, sex in general with me is addicting. From your position, which bodily fluid would you say has the effect? Oh, damn you're good at this!"
Before she even asked I had guessed the one she was talking about and decided I didn't really care. I did wonder what her definition of 'mildly addicting' was. However, she clearly loved what I was doing so I thought it best to ask another time.
Moments later I felt Ahri convulsing all over and her feet pressed hard down on my back. Very quickly I was able to confirm my theory on what part of her was addictive. After quite some time I was done so I pulled her legs of my back and moved up so that I was face to face with her. She was panting heavily so I let her get her breath back.
At least that was my plan. Ahri had different ideas.
With some effort she pulled herself on top of me and kissed me. She barely had the strength to keep herself from slipping off of me so I put my hands on her hips to keep her steady. When we broke apart she hung her head next to mine.
"You need to do that more often."
"There's some other stuff I would like to do first."
In that instant I quietly thanked the summoners for making the walls sound-proof. It was about to get very loud.
The next day (06:30):
"Hey. Hey! I am the bearer of good news!"
I knew it was Shen not just by his monotone voice but also because he was the only one who would walk into my room and wake me up like this. When I opened my eyes I was surprised to see him clinging to the ceiling.
"Shen how did you get up there?" I whispered in hope of not waking Ahri.
"I found some gloves on your floor and they looked nice so I took them and they can do this."
"How are you keeping your feet on the ceiling as well?"
"Ancient Kinkou techniques."
"I swear to god if this is the good news you woke me up for I'm going to throw you out the window."
"No it was only one of the reasons. The other was that Ahri's concerts in Noxus and Zaun have been cancelled for the coolest reason I have ever heard."
"What is it?"
"A new void creature called Vel'Koz went there and killed a bunch of the organisers, scientists and smart people in general. We don't know why but it fires lasers so I want to meet it."
"So do I… why has it not done the same for Piltover and Demacia?"
"It did but the concerts there have already been done and, to quote the creature itself: 'The intellect of Yordles is not sufficient to be worth the effort.'"
"I want to meet this creature and shake its hand. That is, if it has a hand…"
"It has tentacles."
"Once again I am given plentiful reasons to not create the internet for this planet."
"What is that?"
"Imagine a place where the weirdest of people can make stuff and share it with the entire world. There are quite a few women in the League and with the addition of this thing… the weird people would have a field day."
"By the look on your face I can tell you are doing what is best for all of us."
Next to me Ahri started to wake up and my eyes darted to her then back to Shen. We had woken her up earlier than normal and we both knew what that could mean.
"I'll let you deal with this."
With that he teleported away, leaving me alone with an Ahri who hadn't had enough sleep. I was getting slightly annoyed that Shen had left me to deal with that but there was no time for those feelings. A few plans shot through my mind but I decided the best was to pretend to be asleep.
Before I could do that I had to create a something which I could blame for waking her. On the bed-side table I found two pieces of random technology with some exposed wires so I connected the two and hopes it wouldn't go nuclear. It made a slightly worrying buzzing noise which I considered good enough so I threw it across the room and pretended to be asleep.
Mere seconds later I heard Ahri wake up and shuffle about. Because of my position I could not see her but I knew when she found the source of the noise by her sigh. She got out of bed and silenced the device.
For a while I heard nothing and I got a bit curious. The moment I opened one eye to take a peek I saw Ahri kneeling by the bed in front of me, her face a few inches from mine. A smile broke out on her face while I opened the other eye and mentally prepared for what would come next.
"Good morning."
"Hi… so, how's it going?"
"About as well as I could expect after being woken up early and getting very little sleep."
"Would a hug make it all better?"
"That would achieve about as much as doing nothing at all."
Her smile got a bit more cheery and her ears perked up. She put her hand on my cheek and patted it twice.
"But don't worry, revenge comes later."
"Can the revenge be a hug?"
"No it will likely be painful, irritating or both. And for once it is not going to be connected to sex in any way. Now that we are dating that would be a good thing for you so it's out of the question."
"…Could I pretend that the hug is painful?"
"Nope."
"Damn. Does what I did last night count for anything or would it be just as bad either way?"
"You were very obedient so yes."
"I should be offended but… it's kind of true. As much as I hate saying it, you are right about that."
"Of course I'm right. Think of it like how a person can train their pet and trust that the pet will do what it was taught. After some time and effort I've done the same for you. I know for a fact that you will do what I say so I'll always be right about this."
"Once again, offensive but irritatingly true."
"Good boy. Now how about you tell me what you woke me up for?"
"Shen came in to inform me that he had stolen some of my stuff and that you only have to do one more concert then we are done with the tour."
"Brilliant! So I'm almost done with this! We'll have so much spare time to fill, although I can think of a few ways me and you could spend that time."
"Strangely enough so can I. Although my ideas will likely be very different to yours."
"And what, exactly, would be your kind of idea?"
"Paint-balling."
"What's that?"
"You don't know… oh this is going to be very fun. Very fun indeed."
"Whatever it is I don't have to care for now. All I want to care about right now is getting cleaned up for my last public appearance."
Ahri got up and stretched out in front of me. My self-control collapsed meaning all I could do was stare. She giggled at me and walked off. I kept my eyes on her the whole way to the door where she tilted her head to look back at me.
"You can join me if you want to. Or have to. Depends how that addiction is coming along."
She walked out the door but I refused to let her have the last word:
"It's only a minor craving right now!"
Immediately I regretted saying anything at all. I wanted to not go with her as a means of defiance but then I thought about it for a second and decided spending some quality time with Ahri was a better idea. When I got out of bed I felt something fall on my head and balance there. I grabbed it to find that it was Bob. Above me the ceiling was clear so I got very confused as to how he managed to fall on me. I placed it on the bed cautiously and took a few steps away. It did nothing but I realised that leaving it on the bed without having cleaned said bed was probably a bad idea. I moved a few steps closer to it then gave it a shove, sending it tumbling off. After some thought I came to the conclusion that it was most likely fine and I didn't really want to check so I made my way to the button.
Upon pressing it I was greeted by the sight of Ahri smiling at me from the opposite end of the hot spring.
"This is because I want to okay?"
"Whatever you say. So then, do you think you can do enough for me to forget about getting revenge?"
"Yeah definitely but I won't." I replied while making my way around the hot spring.
"Why not?" She asked with a hint of annoyance in her voice.
"I would like to stand by my idea of not doing it too often. We have done a lot recently and as much as I would love to avoid your vengeance it's just not worth it."
"Would you prefer I just force you to do it?"
"Would you prefer I put my armour on?"
"I'm sure I could find a way to get you out of it."
"I could put on my invis-armour, my space-suit, my anti-gravity suit or my worm-hole suit. The last one could utterly annihilate the entire planet by the way. I don't wear it often but I really wish I could because it is so damn cool."
"How can you even put on your armour without the little button thing?"
"Voice command. So long as the device is working I can use it from up to a hundred miles. Unless the signal is blocked by a magnet. It's a major design flaw but no-one uses magnets here."
"Is having sex with me really that bad?"
"No it's the most fun thing I have ever done but I want to keep it that way and this is the best method I have of doing that."
As I sat down next to her Ahri wrapped her arms around me and shuffled closer to me. I put my arm around her while she made herself seem small like usual. Despite the conversation we just had I couldn't help but smile at her.
"How and why do you always make yourself look so small with me when we are the same height?"
"I just curl up my legs so that I can drop down and lay my head on your chest. It's comfy and makes it easier to look cute for you, which I know you like."
"I hate to break up these moments but… who am I kidding I love ruining stuff like this. Goodbye!"
The second I heard the summoners voice I sighed and rested my head on Ahri's. We arrived in a room that I assumed was in Bandle city. Thankfully the summoner had the decency to drop us in a hot-tub though I mentally cursed at no-one in particular for having teleported us to what was obviously some sort of romantic suite, considering the heart-shaped hot-tub. Ahri was the first to vocalise her anger:
"I hate that guy."
HAHA TIS DONE!
Oh well that was fun wasn't it? Really strange thing for me to make Zoh get addicted to but I don't care it's so silly I had to do it.
Now then this shall be important so listen (it's not really but I am a blatant liar).
So recently I got a question from Azzuk (a regular reviewer who I think is fantabulous) about how I come up with ideas for what happens and how I plan all this stuff so I got thinking about it and decided that I would give you all the full story on what Azzuk asked as well as how this story came to be in the first place. Because it's something to do.
Starting from the beginning I thought up this story one day when I was going through all the champions, looking for a new mid-laner who might be fun. They all looked relatively dull or easy (I only play people who have out-play potential like Zed) except for Ahri. Because I like reading lore on stuff I decided to read hers. My expectations were low because let's be honest, most women in League have dull lore's. However, as I got reading I thought that it was genuinely interesting. For a few days I was thinking about it and decided I could write something about it in my spare time as something to do. Unfortunately I knew it would be boring if it was just Ahri so I needed another character that I could have interact with her. A few more days went by with me thinking about it when suddenly I had a flash of inspiration. Why not put a space-marine from warhammer 40k in the LoL universe? I thought it was brilliant.
Once I had the characters I had to think of what kind of people they would be. I knew that if I just made their characters as I went along Zoh would become too much like me and Ahri would change constantly. To combat this I wrote down a bunch of characteristics for characters and put them in a top-hat (yes I have a top hat and yes that makes me stylish as hell). First off I picked out two for Zoh, those being scientific and odd. Second I picked out two for Ahri, those being self-conscious and very-forward. For a while I couldn't find a way of making the two for Ahri work but I decided she would only be self-conscious about certain things (basically about her fox-parts and what Zoh thinks of her).
Once I had that all figured out I had to think up the story for it all. So I wrote down how they would meet and the little charm sub-plot for the first few chapters. From there I had to decide if I wanted it to be a limited story with a set story-line or more like an on-going TV show. TV show won.
Finally I had to think about the stories for it. So I wrote down a bunch of ideas that I just think up when I'm not writing. With that list I pick out the ones I really want to write about then I make links for them. For example: if I wanted to make the League explode (which I don't by the way) I would set it up as a plot by Lita or someone the chapter before then leave it on a cliff-hanger. At the start of the next chapter I would blow it up and then I would start the link to the next event I want to do.
I don't really have an inspiration I am just a really weird person so I just think up this stuff in the middle of lessons or while I'm eating. I'm pretty sure there's some subliminal inspiration from things I have read or watched but I can't say for certain.
There you go that is the long-arse explanation for how this series is made.
Also because I'm a nice guy if you have any questions at all about me or the story I will almost definitely answer them in these notes after the chapter. They can be as personal as you want but there are some that I won't answer like where I live for obvious reasons.
These have probably been the longest notes so far so I shall end them here.
I hope you all enjoyed the chapter and I will see you all next time!
