So much work has been lost by my PC crashing. So much.
Once again I am in a mood where notes simply cannot be made. Bah.
On with the god-damn chapter!
Chapter 17: Misfortunate
Of all the things we had taken from other civilisations in the empire's conquest of everything under the sun, my favourite had always been the weapons from some insignificant planet orbiting a tiny star. Before then we had failed to create anything more than basic swords and bows, yet when we found that planet we learned so much about proper weapons. I always considered my axe to be the perfect example of how well my people could incorporate foreign technology with our own.
Years before I joined the military I created my axe, simply to prove that I could. It had been a bet between me and a friend where he claimed I could not make a weapon that could defy his 'revised' laws of physics. Two days later I had made my axe and got to duct tape him to a rocket made of ice. A few weeks after that I found him on the moon. I consider that a good memory.
Only when my train of thought finished did I realise I was waving my axe around in front of me dangerously. No-one was around so I didn't stop it but when a bolt of electricity shot off I put it down next to me and leaned back in my seat.
I wanted to question why Ahri was taking so long but no-one was around to answer and I could not be bothered to find out myself. Instead, I decided to entertain myself how I used to on tour. With the press of a button I was in my armour and after another I had a hologram display in front of me. There were buttons that I did not even remember making but eventually I found the one I was looking for. Simply labelled 'Pong', I pressed it and hoped that no-one would walk in.
As soon as the game began almost all attention was devoted to it, though I still mentally asked no-one that I would remain alone for a while. The first thing people did when they saw me playing the game was to ask to join in, probably due to the multi-player appearance of the game.
All too soon after I heard foot-steps coming from the other side of a door so I got out of my armour mid-game and tried to look casual. Through the door came Ahri, looking particularly cheerful. By the time I had gotten up from my seat she was already hugging me tightly.
"Can I assume it went well?"
"It was the easiest one yet. Third times the 'charm' I guess."
"Please never say another pun at any point."
"How do you plan on stopping me?"
I pushed her away slightly so that I could kiss her on the lips. She clearly enjoyed my way of shutting her up to the point where she pushed me back down onto the seat I had been sitting on earlier. She sat down on top of me and I could not help but pull her in closer. I started this but she had quickly taken charge.
Slowly Ahri broke away until she was a few inches from my face. On the opposite end of the room someone closed the doors from the other side. I heard it get locked; causing me some worry of what Ahri was planning.
"Has some random guard decided to lock us in or is it your doing?"
"Oh it's nothing I just asked Shen for a tiny favour."
"Okay so why have you asked him to lock us in?"
"I just wanted to pose a question to you. So, what shall we do on my last day as a singer? No-one is going to interrupt us and this room has everything we could need."
"So you're trying to tell me that you locked the door to keep others out and not me in?"
"Yeah. An answer to my question would be appreciated though."
"I would say… we would do what we normally do. I.e. make out and talk. You're already making me give you a day of beauty. Which, by the way, makes no sense as there is no real way of making you look better."
"Let's make a deal then. We can have a normal day instead of do anything special for me if you do this for me now."
"Do you have any more control over this sexual drive of yours at all? Have you even tried to put an end to it?"
"Why would I want it to stop? Why would I put an end to the thing which has brought me so much fun? Even if I did want to end it I couldn't. You know I don't want to force you into anything but the temptation is so strong that just a single moment of weakness could make me do something I will regret."
"Okay. I see now how difficult this is for you. But you have to realise that I only do these things because I think it will benefit you. Everything I do is because I think it will benefit you."
"I know but of all the times we could do it, now would be the best. Can we just enjoy ourselves this one time?"
"Fine."
Her face lit up instantly which managed to improve my mood slightly. While she undressed on top of me I reminded myself that this was going to make her happy. After a while I had convinced myself that this would be worth it and by then Ahri was already down to barely anything. She stretched out on top of me and quickly I got the idea, so I started kissing her on the stomach. When she dropped back down I kept going without moving my head. I took her groans as a signal to keep going.
"Oh, god… why am I so tender all over?"
I stopped for a brief moment to reply:
"I had the summoner make you this way a few days ago. I didn't want to tell you before but it's not like you can do anything against me right now."
"What? Ugh. Oh!"
I stopped her mid-sentence by flipping us around, leaving her sitting on the chair with me on top. I dropped down below her waist, leaving her unable of making any noise but the odd grunt. Eventually she managed to utter a few short words:
"You son of a… ugh damn!"
The next day (1st May 11:00):
The sun shone through the massive skylight in the ceiling as I walked through the main lobby of the League. Minutes earlier I had been told by Tryndamere that Miss Fortune was looking for me so I decided to find her to find out why. At that point I had only heard a few things about her but already I knew whatever she wanted it was going to be bad for me, hence why I wanted to put an end to it quickly.
Seconds later I caught sight of her walking along one end of the room. I made my way to her and she noticed me quickly. When I got within a few metres of her I got a better look. She had long, red hair and a slender body. Her clothes comprised of little more than leather leggings, a pirate hat and something over her chest that left so little to the imagination it may as well have not been there.
When I got close enough to talk I removed my armour to appear friendlier.
"Ah just the man I'm looking for. First off do you know why I was looking for you?"
"I have not been told why but from what I have heard of you I have a decent idea."
"Well how about I give you a bit of back-story about it? When I came to the League I decided it would be good to have sex with every man as a way of getting favours. So far I have done everyone but you so guess what we are going to go do."
"Thanks but no thanks. I'm dating someone and, sorry if this sounds a bit old school or something, one is the maximum."
"As I said, I have had sex with every man in the League. Including Taric and he's gay."
"Can't I just give you a favour and we skip this whole thing?"
"If you really must know it's not just for favours. I also like to know who the best in bed is for reasons you don't need to know."
"We're getting no-where so I'm just going to go."
I took a few steps before she grabbed me by the hand and started dragging me along the floor.
"This isn't an optional thing you know."
She was surprisingly strong which meant I couldn't get free of her grasp. As I saw no obvious way of getting out of this alone I decided to request help:
"Hey can someone help? I'm being dragged along the floor against my will! Anyone? Really? I can't get my armour on like this so some help would really be appreciated right now. Are you all just going to ignore this? Yeah? Bugger."
"No-one is going to help you. They all know that this has to happen."
Nocturne hovered past giving me a moment of hope.
"Hey Nocturne can you give me some help here?"
He hovered along next to me and dropped closer to the ground to talk:
"I'm sorry but this is going to happen no matter what I do."
"Why? If you help me out now I can avoid this completely."
"No then she would come into your room and do it in the middle of the night."
"I can do stuff to prevent that!"
"You can't. Over the years she had got quite a few favours from champions and summoners alike."
"If this happens Ahri will literally murder me!"
"That is your problem. Good luck and have fun."
Nocturne turned and floated in the other direction. I had almost given up hope at that point when I saw Ahri staring at me quizzically from a few metres away. She got up from her seat and jogged up to us.
"I'm not going to try and guess what you two are doing so why not just tell me?"
"Long story short she is dragging me off somewhere to have sex. Personally I'm not up for it but apparently that doesn't matter."
Miss Fortune sighed and dropped my hand, making me fall to the floor. She held me down with her foot as she turned to face Ahri.
"You refuse to have sex with me but you will with that?"
"I swear if I had my axe right now…"
"What? You're getting annoyed at me for pointing out that you have terrible taste for women and, apparently, female creatures."
"I've had enough of this. Get your foot of him and leave then we won't have any problems."
"Oh I'm so scared; a glorified fox is threatening me."
I turned to glare at Miss Fortune in time to see Ahri's fist impacting on her face. Moments later Miss Fortune was on the ground, unconscious. I got to my feet and stood next to Ahri. We both stared down at Miss Fortune and I gave her a nudge with my foot to make sure she was out cold.
"That was such a good punch I think I felt it."
"She had it coming."
"Yeah. A glorified fox would not have as nice of an arse as you."
"Thanks, I guess."
"It was a compliment, sort of. One good question would be who is wearing the most revealing clothing of you two."
"I'd say it's her. Personally I want some parts of me to only be seen by you."
"Yeah sure that's why you wore that swimsuit ages ago at the pool-party."
"No-one remembers that anyway. Also it achieved exactly what I wanted it to. That being making you stare at me any chance you got."
"I'll admit I enjoyed that day quite a lot. Anyway we should probably get going before she wakes up."
"Why? You're not scared are you?"
"No but… she's really strong…"
We started walking aimlessly around the League. A while later Ahri suggested we go back to the room to think of something to do. The moment I stepped in and closed the door she pulled me down onto the sofa.
"Okay now you are tell me how you got into that situation."
Her tone betrayed her feelings and I knew my answer would be the difference between considerable pain and something much more enjoyable.
"I was on a walk when Tryndamere said Miss Fortune was looking for me. It was something to do so I went looking for her. When I found her we got talking and she made it clear what she wanted. She also made it obvious that me and you being in a relationship made no difference to her. When I tried to walk away she grabbed me and started dragging me along the floor."
"Was she genuinely stronger than you?"
"Somehow yes. Although to be fair she probably has quite a lot of practice when you realise she has managed to sleep with every man in the League. With the exception of yours truly of course."
"Sounds like a bit of a slut really."
"She is. So can we get back on with the rest of the day now?"
"Fine, you're off the hook."
Ahri sat down on me and rested her head on my chest. Her arms wrapped around me while I moved my hand to stroke her hair.
"I don't know what I would do if I lost you to some red-headed pirate."
"The chances of me leaving you for her are smaller than Planck length."
"I'm not sure what that is but I'll assume it's small."
I thought for a moment then pinched my thumb and index finger together. I tapped Ahri on the shoulder so that she looked up.
"See the space between my finger and thumb?"
"No."
"It's smaller than that."
"This is science stuff so I don't care."
I hugged Ahri closer and smiled. Her total lack of interest in what I did was rather entertaining for me.
"Come on we should go find something to do." I suggested as she leaned up to look me in the eyes.
"No let's just cuddle for a while."
"Sure. But we aren't going any further okay?"
"I never said anything about going further. All I want is to spend a while with you."
Ahri smiled when I gave a nod. Using her tails she gently pushed me over so that I was lying on my back with her on top of me. My mind wandered to all the luck I had recently.
Back on my planet everything about my life was either dull or made me dislike my own civilisation. I only ever had three friends and each of them regularly made me question why I associated with them at all. One used women like toys, another made disgusting and inhumane weapons for the military and the last was Lita. Two of them were my friends simply because they were hilarious and Lita was more of a family friend.
Along with that I really disliked my job as well. At the time it seemed like a good idea but whenever I looked back at it I realised the idea was one of my worst. Before I got my job I did fun science with no real objective and an infinite budget. As soon as I started working everything got worse. They gave me genuine goals and a certain amount of money to achieve them with. Then I was forced to join the military which got on my nerves very quickly. Even when I went to extreme lengths to keep the enemy alive but incapacitated my 'friendlies' would execute them.
As for the women in my life back then I never really gave a damn for any of them. Almost all of them hated me and I returned the feelings. The only two who didn't were my mother and Lita but I still disliked them as much as the others.
In a few weeks I managed to change all of that. My friends were all strange and wonderful, I actually enjoyed my job and at that very moment I had a beautiful fox-woman lying on top of me. The fact that I loved her and she loved me back never ceased to amaze me. We started off very well but when my feelings were my own I got very angry, very fast. It took me a while but eventually I understood how much she meant to me and how much I needed her in my life.
I looked at Ahri just in time to see her turn to me and speak:
"Is there anything or anyone that you would leave me for?"
"There is nothing on this world or any other that could make me leave you by choice. The only person who could ask me to leave is you."
"Looks like you're stuck with me then."
"And I am perfectly fine with that."
Ahri smiled at me and leaned in so that her face was a few centimetres from mine. I understood what she wanted so I kissed her on the lips. She held me in tightly with her tails just as I had grown accustomed to.
A short while later she pulled away slightly only to lean in and kiss me again. She pulled away much quicker the seconds time but instead of going back to where she was before she moved forward so that I was staring at her neck.
"I'm waiting…"
It took me a second but eventually I got the message.
We spent a while lying there, most of it I spent kissing her chest. I mentally congratulated myself for coming up with the idea to get the summoner to make her so easy to please.
Mid-way through a particularly low kiss Nocturne hovered into the room.
"Hey Zoh. One quick question: what the hell did you do to make Miss Fortune so angry?"
"Ahri knocked her out before anything happened."
"Okay… all I will say is don't get seen by her because all it will bring you is pain and suffering."
"I guessed as much. Shall we get back to work on the house then?"
"Yep. That's why I came over actually. Although I see you are in the middle of something so do you want to finish up first?"
"Give me a few minutes and we'll both be there."
Nocturne nodded and disappeared in the regular flash of blue light. I turned my attention to Ahri who had moved so that her head was resting sideways on my chest. It also dawned on me that her arms were wrapped my stomach and her lower legs were under mine.
"Hmm what can I do to loosen you up…?"
With a tug Ahri was face to face with me. She grumbled as my hand went under her skirt. Almost instantly she went limp all over so I pulled my hand back. With incredible ease I pushed Ahri up and got to my feet.
"If you're going to do that at least finish the job!"
I grinned at her before pulling her up from the sofa by her hand. She weakly punched me on my arm just before the scenery ahead of me changed to that of the house in Ionia. I put my armour back on and got to work where I had left off.
Many hours later (21:00):
Through the visors in my helmet I could see the room illuminate with the light from the now open door. The silhouette of Miss Fortune was clearly visible in the beams of light.
She tip-toed in discreetly and took a moment to look around. For a moment I thought she had seen me when she stared in my direction for a moment. After a while she turned to look at the bed and walked over to it. As she did I followed closely behind until we both stopped. I took one more step so that I was right behind her and thankfully she did not notice me, although that could be attributed to the stealth armour I was wearing.
I couldn't claim to know her plan but I didn't plan to wait and find out. As was custom for what I was about to do to enemies I shouted quite loud enough for Lita to hear next door:
"Surprise attack!"
With a single well-placed hit to the neck she toppled to the ground and a huge smile spread across my face. I hopped with joy a few times before settling down and letting out a sigh of relief. Ahri turned around to look at me and even with what little light was in the room I could see she was smiling as well.
"Well done, but what are we going to do with her?"
"I have a plan for that."
I reached down and picked up Miss Fortune by her wrists. I slung her over my shoulder and walked toward the window. When I got there I stopped and opened it.
"It's called: throw them out the airlock."
With one hand I threw her out the window and with the other I closed it behind her.
"To me it looked like she was being dragged around by a ghost just then."
"Oh yeah I'm still wearing this."
I pulled out the button and pressed it. When my armour was gone I threw the button onto the table then went to join Ahri. On the way she asked me a question that I doubt she really cared about:
"Why do you press the button when you can just say what you want it to do?"
"Buttons are cool. Like suits and fezzes."
"What is it with you and buttons?"
"Its basic human nature to like pressing things and having cool stuff happen. All my buttons make cool stuff happen or I destroy them in lava."
"Why lava?"
"Lava is also cool." I joked while lying in bed next to Ahri.
"What isn't "cool" to you?"
"Hmm… bubbles. There's nothing cool about bubbles."
Ahri smiled at me before grabbing my hand and pulling it over her. She turned with it so that she was now facing away from me, yet she was still pressed against me. I kissed her on the back and drifted off to sleep.
The next day (2nd May 10:00):
The knocking at the door was now impossible to ignore. I threw my book to the side and strolled up to the door. As I reached for the handle the door flew open, causing me to jump back with fright. When I recovered I was greeted by the sight of the summoner who normally helped us except in his hands was a baby wrapped in a blanket.
"Hey Zoh you know how you owe me for helping you all the time?"
"Uh yeah… I guess so."
"Well my wife has told me if I find someone to take care of this guy we can spend the day having sex. So… would you mind?"
"Okay but any tips would be helpful."
"His name is James. Just feed him or put him to sleep when he cries and you should be good. Oh yeah also if he really starts to smell just change him into one of these."
The summoner handed me James and put a bag of stuff down inside. He gave me a thumbs up and jogged away.
"Bye." I muttered while closing the door.
It took me a second but finally I realised that I had no experience what-so-ever in taking care of babies. I stared down at it and it stared straight back.
"Do all you people look the same?" I asked it.
Its reply consisted of some gurgling noises and a burp.
"At least warn me when you are going to do that… oh wait… you can't understand me… Ahri get in here!"
I turned to the door as Ahri walked out. She immediately halted her movement completely when she saw what I was holding.
"Zoh… why do you have a baby?"
"The summoner asked me to baby-sit it so he could spend the day having sex with his wife. I owe him it so I accepted."
"And now I'm going to have to help as well. Correct?"
"Yep. Can you hold him while I see if he left a note on what to do?"
"Fine. Give it here."
I carefully handed James to Ahri and immediately regretted it when he outstretched his arms towards her chest.
"Is this normally what human children do or should I be recoiling in terror?"
"I don't care if it is normal those are for me and you."
She raised her eyebrow to me while pushing James hands away.
"Fine then, just for me."
I smiled at my own joke and went to look for notes. Searching through the bag of stuff I found a notepad with a few words scrawled on it.
As I stood up to look at the notes in the light Ahri walked up next to me. Reading through it the summoner had only left basic tips on what to do. Next to me I heard Ahri struggling with James. She was already sounding aggravated.
"Why is this thing so interested in my breasts?"
"Uh… male instinct? Let's see if he's written anything about it."
I flipped the page on the notebook and read on. After a few seconds I looked up from the book with an expression of confusion.
"It mentions something about 'breast-feeding'. What the hell is that?"
"Let me see the damn notes."
Ahri handed James to me and swiped the notepad from my hands.
"It says don't try that. Instead, use the bottle in the bag. Still doesn't say what it is but I can make a guess and would sooner die."
"Yeah it includes this guy and these wonderful things together which I am not okay with. So what's this about a bottle then?"
I kneeled down and reached into the bag. After a few seconds I found it and pulled the bottle out.
"How do we know when he wants some?"
As if on cue James started crying so I guessed it was time to give him a drink. I held the bottle out in front of him to take it. He just continued crying and made no attempt to grab the bottle, much to my irritation.
"Do you want a drink or not… you still can't understand me can you?"
"I think you have to do most of the work here Zoh."
"Aren't you supposed to have some kind of maternal instinct for this stuff? Being a woman and all." I questioned while force-feeding James the bottle which thankfully put an end to his incessant crying.
"No not really. I know about as much as you do. Surely you should know this stuff. Being a scientist and all."
"I have no interest in this stuff so I never researched it. Also even if I did it would be kind of weird for a scientist like myself to be searching up science on babies. On my planet I was well known so people would hear and rumours would spread."
I stood up straight and walked over to the sofa. As I sat down Ahri walked over and sat next to me.
"Why were you of all people well known?"
"If you want I could give you a list of all my inventions that I contributed to my society. Though I think saying that I invented the armour that every soldier in the army wears should be reason enough for people to know my name. I even got to meet the emperor once. He was a bit of an imbecile really."
I removed the bottle from James mouth and instantly he went back to reaching for Ahri.
"I don't think I will be able to stand this all day." She mumbled while crossing her arms over her chest.
"Maybe if you didn't show off half of them he wouldn't be so interested."
"If I did that you would be disappointed. Don't even try to lie about that."
"Probably but I like to think that I am better than that. We have proved time and time again that I'm not but a man can dream."
"Most of your dreams are probably about me though."
"Half and half really. The rest are about a variety of things. Just last night I dreamt of being the owner of a walrus fighting arena. Which, by the way, I wouldn't actually want to do because walrus's are lovely and don't deserve that."
"Clearly I have spent way too much time with you because that isn't too weird."
I nodded in approval at the same time as James started crying again. Ahri pulled the notepad out of god-knows where and flipped through a few pages. Seconds later she pointed at a few lines of writing:
"According to this he might cry when: hungry, sleepy, bored, angry, sad and sometimes just because he can. He might be any of those right now and neither of us could tell."
"He's probably not interested in our conversation so I'm going to guess that he is bored."
"Find him something to do then."
"Hold." I ordered while holding James out for Ahri to take. She got a hold and then cradled him next to her stomach while I strolled casually to the bag. I took hold of the two handled and carried it back over to the sofa. While I sat down I looked inside for something for him to do. Very quickly I found a pop-up book that I assumed would do the job. I handed it to Ahri and lounged back on the sofa.
"Do you really expect me to read this to him?"
"No I handed it to you to keep your hands warm."
"Shut up Zoh."
Ahri started reading the book to James and looked as if she was in physical pain from the act. James slowly stopped crying and I couldn't help but enjoy the sight of her reading a pop-up book to a baby. Despite her hostile expression I could tell she was enjoying what she was doing. How long that would last depended on the book really.
A few minutes later Ahri flipped the last page of the book as James fell to sleep. She pretended to be uninterested in the book and put it down on the sofa. I picked it up and read the last page, making sure to look straight up to her as soon as I finished. She was leaning in to look so I smiled at her. Immediately she stared away again while her cheeks lit up. I put one arm around Ahri to pull her in. She put James down where she had been sitting and sat on my lap.
"It's okay Ahri I won't judge. This one time I'm not going make a joke about it."
"Thanks Zoh. I'm happy you have a little bit of a conscience."
Her cheeks returned to their normal colour while she moved in to kiss me. Ahri twisted her body so that her body was facing me. We broke apart after a few seconds but she tried to go in again. I simply dodged out the way and kissed her on the cheek. She looked at me with slight disappointment in her eyes. I simply pointed to James who looked as if he was about to wake up.
"I would hate this damn baby if he wasn't cute." She grumbled while picking up James.
"Same here actually."
Ahri rocked James for a while until he fell back into a deep sleep.
"How and why do you know how to do that?"
"It's what would help me get to sleep."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I'm not sure why but gentle rocking feels like it would help. Probably because it's similar to the other kind of rocking that I'm used to getting to sleep after."
"Hmm. Dirty."
"It is slightly. How do you normally get to sleep?"
"Since I met you? Most of the time it's instant and accompanied by a splitting head-ache."
"Sorry about that. As I said before, it's not really something I can control."
"I know, I know. Plus if you didn't we would get no sleep at all."
"That's not true. I'll admit we would get a lot less but still some."
"Personally I'm not a fan of sleep deprivation and neither are you if I remember correctly."
"Yeah I had some problems with it as a fox. I had no idea humans suffered from is as well."
"Unfortunately so. I tried to make a cure for it once. Ended up just teleporting people into a monkey exhibit at the local zoo."
"I think you are the best worst scientist I have ever met. You're also the only scientist I have ever met now I think about it."
"Eh, I consider that a compliment."
Later (15:00):
Ahri POV
A few rays of light made their way through the clouds and down into the hall. A few metres from me was Zoh who was kneeling on the ground. Apart from me, James and Zoh the room was mostly empty. The only things of any significance in the room were the regular pillars and the benches which lined the outside of the room. Neither me nor Zoh could tell why the room had been made in the first place but it served its purpose well enough.
"Okay James for the last time: you put one foot in front of the other. Your hands don't touch the ground at any point! Got it?"
The baby made a few noises so Zoh gave me the signal to release him. I let go of James who instantly fell over.
"I don't think he gets it."
Zoh sighed and looked as if he was trying to think up another plan.
"Would he react better to threats?" He asked while pulling out his axe.
"No he'll just cry and we will have to delay this again."
Zoh walked over and sat next to me while James crawled around on the floor in front of us.
"Why can't he walk like normal people? I don't remember a time when I couldn't. Do you think he is broken or something?"
"What do you mean by that?"
"In the 'fell off a building' way."
"No the summoner wouldn't let that happen. Talking of which how have we ended up baby-sitting for him without even knowing his name?"
"I don't really want to know if I'm honest. I'm afraid he will have a really generic or mundane one like 'Geoff' or 'Keith'."
"I'd rather have a boring one than something like yours."
"Hey my name is fine! What about yours?"
"What about mine?"
"I love your first name but unfortunately it's all you have."
"To be honest I don't want another. This way people know that I'm the first person and only person in my family. Kind of depressing really but it's the truth."
"What about your fox family?"
"My real family left me ages ago. I don't want to see them again."
"Well then. Seems I'm the closest thing you have to family."
"You're more of an incredibly close friend really. We're not really anything serious."
"I know but it's nice to think of you as family. That way even if we have problems I know we can at least stay as friends."
I smiled at his words. Even then all he wanted was for us to be friends and being the way we were was un-necessary but good. After everything that had annoyed me today Zoh had managed to brighten my mood. I hugged him with my arms and tails while he returned the gesture.
"I wouldn't worry about that too much. You will always be more than just a friend to me."
A few seconds into our hug I felt James fall over my leg. He started crying quickly after so I let go of Zoh and turned to the baby. After a long sigh I picked up James and thought back to how the notes said to shut him up.
I picked up a little plastic thing that supposedly helped and put it in his mouth. After a little while he fell to sleep so I just accepted it and lay him down.
Before I could get back to Zoh, Shen walked in without making any noise at all. I only noticed his presence because he walked in the door to our right which I could just about see.
"Have you two had a baby or has someone roped you into helping with theirs?"
"The second one." Zoh replied.
"Should I assume you know what you're doing?" Shen asked while sitting down opposite us.
"Neither of us have any idea to be honest. I have no 'maternal instincts' as Zoh calls them and he is a scientist which apparently means he doesn't have to know this stuff."
"Ah good I'm not the only one. Thankfully Akali has said she doesn't want a baby and neither do I. What about you two?"
"We hadn't planned on it. Also we're not sure if it would even work with me being half fox."
"Well now I want to know if it would. But that can wait."
"As far as I am concerned that can wait a few years at least." Zoh added.
"Of course. The League can't really stop you if you are out of the building but that doesn't mean they wouldn't pressure you about it when you are in."
"Good thing we won't be dealing with that for a very long time." I pointed out.
"Agreed." Zoh stated.
"Well I'm going to go before you bring me into your baby-sitting job. Good luck and goodbye."
Shen got up and walked back out the door.
I put James down on the floor and turned back to Zoh.
"Uh Zoh… what does he eat?"
"… Pizza!"
Is there a better way to end a chapter than pizza?
So here are my reasons for this being late:
1-stuff got deleted
2-i got a new PC
3-that PC came with Assassins creed: Black flag so I have spent so much time being a pirate because pirates are awesome!
Wonderful reasons aren't they?
Important note:
Another thing if anyone wants to give suggestions for chapters they would like to see go straight ahead. If it is sufficiently entertaining and/or weird I will happily write it into a chapter!
Also "A Scared Kitty" (yes that is their name so +1 amazing points for them) helped me with transferring files between computers and I love them for it so Sir/Madame you are amaze-tastic! (New words are so much fun)!
Anyways goodbye all and I will see you in the next chapter which could come out at any point honestly!
