Hello everyone and welcome to this "Brand" new chapter!
Sometimes you have to make yourself laugh…
By the way no puns for this chapter because I couldn't think of any good ones. Next week will probably have a few.
Oh well I feel like I need a hug so I'm going to go find my cat then come back and continue writing these notes.
I'm back. Notes over.
On with the twentieth chapter!
Chapter 20: Taken
A few shreds of light reflected off the sheets of the bed in front of me while I massaged Ahri's shoulders. Her pure white tails shined under the suns light, occasionally causing me to squint when the light was angled towards my eyes. She was in an almost sleep-like state which I couldn't in all good conscience take her out of.
After that little favour I did for her the problems we were having disappeared. The annoying poking from before had been replaced by gentle stroking, which at the worst of times tickled a small amount.
Just as one tail curled around my chin, Ahri yawned herself awake. She turned her head to look at me with a sly grin.
"There's special massages, then there's that."
"I guessed it would be your kind of thing."
"You know me so very well. How did you come up with that if you don't mind my asking?"
"It's pretty simple really. If I'm giving you a massage everywhere else, why not there?"
"You should think like that more often."
"I think like that all the time. Difference is, normally I don't tell you about them."
"If we're alone don't even bother telling me about them. Just try them out."
"The problem I see with that is we would never stop having sex."
"Really?"
"I have a dirty mind."
"Well if that's so you do a very good job hiding it."
"Thanks. Can I stop this now because my arms are getting really damn tired?"
"Yeah I think I've had enough. What are we going to do for the rest of the day?"
"Hmm well we could-"
The sound of something teleporting in behind me caught both our attentions. When I turned I instantly got a head-ache from seeing Lita who looked to have a head-ache of equal proportions.
"Sometimes I understand why you always said that everyone from our planet was stupid. How did it never occur to me that I could simply take you hostage?"
"Maybe because you had to get a little bit more insane before you thought that would be a lovely idea?"
"Seems to me like I'll also have to teach you some manners while breaking your will."
She leaned to the side to look at Ahri then waved.
"Hi slut. How's your day going?"
"And you're talking to Zoh about manners."
"I'm just speaking the truth. You are nude on an engaged man's bed."
"If I wasn't nude I would get up and punch you in the face."
"While I do love arguing with you I'm afraid I and Zoh are going now. So goodbye."
"I'll probably see you in a few hours. Goodbye for now." I insisted to Ahri, shortly after leaning down to give her a goodbye kiss.
With the usual flash of blue light I was in an icy, brick room. My hands were chained to the stone walls about a metre from the brick floor. A fire burned in the centre of the room, illuminating the plain walls and iron door at the other end of the room. The room itself was circular and about four metres from side to side. The ceiling was at least six metres up and made of the same stone bricks that made everything else. Anywhere that the outside could get in was covered in a thin layer of ice. I was the only one in there but I knew that would no longer be the case soon enough.
I didn't even bother to attempt to get my armour on as the shackles on my hands made it impossible. Instead I just sat down and patted away some fluff from god-knows-what on my suit. Thankfully the chains which attached my hands to the wall were long enough for me to let them rest on the floor.
Across the room the door was pulled open and in walked Lita with a summoner. She was wearing her armour for reasons I could not understand but her helmet was off. I didn't bother to stand as she approached until she was only a metre of so from me.
"How do you like your new home?"
"The bricks really accentuate your insanity. It's quite well done actually."
"Ah, seems we've both got problems with our manners. This is Talit. The summoner who has been helping me."
"Your parents must have hated you to give you a name like that."
He didn't say a word to me but I could not see his expression below his hood. I assumed it would be quite annoyed. I hoped it would be quite annoyed at least.
"Is he a mute or can he not handle the banter?"
"I haven't given him permission to speak. So he won't."
"How the hell did a summoner get in a situation like that?"
"Threatening to kill someone's family always works Zoh."
"Seriously, buddy, just fireball her and we can go get a drink. Who knows, maybe the alcohol will get rid of my head-ache."
"He's not going to do that Zoh. Unlike you he has the sense not to cross me. But this is all beside the point. The main reason he is here is to put into action an idea I got from Shen."
"What did Shen tell you?"
"Being the oblivious fool he is, he told me about a spell you put on your little fox friend."
"… Shit…"
"Oh yes. You know the one. It's a similar thing but it works more like a certain type of drug than what you thought up. Better suited for a man. That's not the only difference though. This will only work when I'm involved."
"So your plan is to use sex to make me go back with you out of my own will? Surprisingly enough, it sounds like a plan that could work… You know, normally this would be a male fantasy but I'm really not looking forward to it."
"You should be. This spell is going to make life so much more pleasurable for you."
"I don't want that with you though. As I have stated so many, many times: you are a crazy bitch. Who would want to be stuck in a relationship with that?"
"Why do you even think I'm crazy? What have I ever done to make you believe that?"
"This, trying to force me into a marriage, turning my little ship into a big one which turned on me and, most importantly of all, banning me from eating ice cream!"
"You're really still annoyed about that?"
"Yes I'm annoyed! Ice cream is the greatest invention since the wheel!"
"It's really not that-"
"Shut it! Nothing will change my mind on the subject!"
She knelt down and moved uncomfortably close to my face.
"The chocolate kind is the worst."
She jumped back just before I dived forward with my fists clenched, nearly braking my wrists from the force of throwing them forward at her.
"Let me out of these chains and I swear I will punch you so hard in the face your nose will be touching your brain stem!"
She smirked at me and crossed her arms over her chest.
"I said I would show you one of his anger fits."
"It's not an anger fit!"
"This one is longer than normal."
"Do you get some kind of jolly from pissing me off?"
"Of course not. I think he does though so I'll do this regularly. Now let's get on with this. Do it."
I slumped back down to where I was while Talit mumbled the usual magic gibberish. He finished but for a few seconds I felt nothing then suddenly I had an incredible urge to have sex with Lita. It felt worryingly similar to how I felt when Ahri charmed me. For once I managed to restrain myself by thinking about explosions.
"Don't you just love it when the summoners take ideas from champions? This must be how you have been feeling for Ah… Ahru? Ahra? Ahr… the fox thing. You know what I'm talking about."
"I've had this happen three times in total. Once for a few days when I first met her, the second after a bet about how quickly she could seduce me and now the third here. Feels like I'm having this happen to me more than most."
"Yep. I feel it's only fair to tell you that my armour is the only thing keeping you down. When I lose it later on we're going to have some fun."
"Isn't sex before marriage against your religion or something?"
"It is but I'm the only one with that religion here and I think it's necessary to complete my mission."
"Tell you what I'm going to make a points system now. You start with one hundred insane points. Now I'm giving you another one. When you get to a thousand I'll get you a cake… by the way tomorrow I'm going to need to go out and buy a cake."
"I've had quite enough of your petty insults now so I'll leave and be back in a few hours."
Lita walked to the door but when she got there she stopped and turned to look at the summoner.
"You have permission to speak now."
She walked out leaving just me and the summoner in the room. He stood by the door and pointed at me:
"You sir, are an arsehole." He declared with a rather deep voice that seemed to echo around the room.
"And you're a nostril! See? You're not the only one who can call someone a bodily orifice!"
He shook his head and left, slamming the door behind him. I decided to shout to anyone who could hear:
"I consider this a moral victory!"
Ahri POV
"Shen get out here we're going on an adventure!" I shouted while slamming my fist on the door.
The door opened so fast I thought for a moment that he was just standing by the door but then I remembered who he was.
"Can I use my new adventuring swords?"
"Uh sure…"
I peeked inside his room to see Akali, wrapped only in the bed sheets waving at me.
"Were you two…?"
"Yes but it would have been rude not to answer the door."
"Seriously Shen get your priorities straight. I could have come back later."
"Is this adventure urgent? Because I can go back to what I was doing."
"I don't even know. Lita took Zoh away to god knows where so I am going to go find him before something bad happens."
"Ah… I may have made… a mistake…"
"What did you do?"
"I was having a casual conversation with Lita and I might have told her about the magic Zoh used on you."
"…"
"Are you angry?"
"…"
"I'm going to assume you are. But I know where he is so we can go save him."
"Shen… I can't even be disappointed in you anymore. For that I would have to expect something in the first place."
"We can go straight away. Better yet Akali can join us. That way we can pass it off as a team-building exercise to the summons."
"I don't think we have to tell them why we are not here."
"Yeah but it's good to keep them informed. I know they worry about my safety. Or was it they worry about me in general? Hmm…"
He looked as if he was deep in his own thoughts so I decided to bring him back into the real world:
"Shen… Shen… Shen!"
"Ah what? Uh yes. Hello Ahri. Let's go! Come on Akali, we're off on an adventure!"
In the blink of an eye Akali was by Shen's side in her usual green kimono.
"You two get dressed really fast."
"Ha! You think that was me getting dressed? I had a shower as well." She laughed from under her face-mask. I thought it was a joke but her expression turned serious and she didn't say another word.
"Wow you're serious? If I could move that fast Zoh would be so much easier to deal with."
"Which is exactly why neither of us will teach you. It would be unfair for him."
"Fine. Shen, where do you think they are holding Zoh?"
"Lita and a summoner named Talit own a prison in the Freljord which has recently experienced a break-out from a single cell. That means there's one cell which is empty. We just have to go there, find the prison records then go to the empty cell."
"Seems good. We can't be seen though."
"Why?"
"If Lita hears that I'm there she will suspect I'm there to break Zoh out so she'll probably move him somewhere else."
"Okay. Stealth it is. Let's go find the summoner."
Akali closed the door and we all walked down the hall towards the main room. Down the hall I spotted a giant black spider so I moved to the other side of Akali and Shen for safety. As we passed it I ducked down slightly to avoid its attention. Normally I had no problem with spiders but when they were the size of a large bear I got uncomfortable. Neither of my companions seemed to even notice it so I just kept my head down until we got quite far away.
When we got to the main room the scene was as usual. Summoners and champions alike wandered around, getting on with their daily lives. Only when we stopped to look around did I realise that Shen and Akali were talking about what they were doing before I knocked on the door and what they were going to do when the adventure was over.
"If you really must talk about that stuff use innuendo or something."
"That is illogical. Why would we try to conceal the meanings of our words to each other?" Shen asked while looking around the room.
"The idea is you understand it but no-one else does. If I'm honest I don't like hearing about your sex lives in such vivid detail. In any detail actually."
"Ah okay we will create code words for the various positions. Thank you for the input."
"No problem."
Suddenly the summoner appeared in front of us a few metres in the air. He fell face-first and groaned in pain. We all remained silent while he pushed himself up from the floor.
"No I'm fine thanks for asking."
"What were you doing before teleporting here?"
"That's none of your business thank you very much… why are those two talking about salmon and eggs?"
I looked at Shen and Akali who obviously were not very good at secret codes. Instead of causing myself un-necessary inconvenience I just tapped Shen on the shoulder and pointed to the summoner.
"Hello summoner. When did you get here?"
"A few seconds ago. Do you lot need anything or can I go?"
"Actually we require a teleport to the prison Talit bought in the Freljord."
"Should I tell him you're coming?"
"No it is a stealth mission."
I face-palmed at Shen's comment but just decided to leave him to figure out what he did wrong on his own.
"You're clearly going to be good at being stealthy Shen. Okay then goodbye all."
We all appeared in a stone brick room which had the furnishings of a throne room. A single carpet ran the length of the room from the door up to a comfy looking chair at the opposite end. Sets of armour adorned the walls and large glass windows lined the walls. To my surprise we were the only people in there. Less surprising was the temperature which was barely above minus numbers.
"Why does a prison have a throne room?" Shen inquired, to which both me and Akali just shrugged.
"I would assume whoever made it will want to use it so let's get out of here before they get a chance." Akali added.
"You're right. Let's check what's on the other side of this door." I replied while walking to the door.
I grabbed hold of the giant metal handle and tugged the wooden door open, only pulling it far enough to walk through. We all went through and were greeted by the sight of a room about the same size as the last which was almost completely empty save for ten or so doors dotted along the walls. They were all neatly labelled with what lay beyond so we all looked around until Shen found the prison records room. We walked into the relatively small room to find it too was void of life.
"I'm not feeling too good about this. Where are all the guards?" I asked as I searched for anything that looked recent. The piles of paper made it quite difficult but at worst it would take a few minutes to find what we needed.
"Maybe Zoh has caused another explosion here."
"I wouldn't think so. They made the mistake last time of letting his hands be free; I doubt they will do it again."
"We'll find out soon enough I'm sure."
For a few seconds there was utter silence until Akali turned to us with some paper in hand.
"Guys I found Zoh's file. You won't believe what Lita has planned for him…"
Zoh POV
21:00
"Hey, hey guard guess what!"
"Shut up."
"Well there are two things. Firstly you suck HA! Second is you have to stand there while I have sex with your boss!"
"Shut up."
"Oh yeah I almost forgot you also have to wait there until one of my friends knocks you out."
"Shut up."
"Maybe if you participated in the conversation you would enjoy your job more."
"Shut up or I will shut you up myself!"
"Yeah sure, keep telling yourself that!"
From down the hall I heard footsteps approaching. I couldn't see who it was but when I saw the guard salute I guessed it was Lita. My assumptions were proven false when I heard Talit's voice.
"Has he been causing trouble?"
"He's been irritating but nothing more. I would quite like to go in there and shut him up."
"Don't worry I will do it for you."
The door opened and in walked the summoner. Only when I stood did I realise how tall he was, at least six foot five. Even through his summoner robes I could tell he was scrawny compared to a normal person. Compared to me he looked like a twig, which made me smile a bit. The only thing that caused me concern was the metal bar he was holding.
"Hello buddy how's it going?"
"Shut up. I'm only here to show you the other part of the plan that Lita forgot."
"I'm guessing it's not bacon…"
The chains restricting my hands retracted into the wall so that I could barely move them. He pulled the metal bar up and slammed it into my stomach. It hurt a little bit for a few seconds before the pain receded like normal. I barely flinched at the weak blow.
"Are you hitting me with a metal bar or a twig?"
He gave it another attempt but still didn't manage to hurt me at all really.
"The only thing that achieved was to crease my suit."
I prepared for another hit to the stomach but received one to the face. It hurt like hell and for a moment I thought my jaw might have been broken. I moved it slightly and heard it snap back into place. Then my attention turned to the incredible pain in my cheek. After a few moments it dulled slightly but still hurt more than anything I had felt for quite some time.
"I'll be honest, that one hurt."
He dropped the metal bar to the ground then started punching me relentlessly.
"In case you were wondering I'm not just doing this for fun, though that is a large part of it. No, this was how the plan started in the first place. Then we decided you needed something as an incentive to give in. So basically, if you give up this stops and you get to do that other stuff but if you persist for too long… we will get to know each other very well."
"But I love being a human punch-bag so much."
He ignored my comments and just continued punching. For the first time in years I was happy to see Lita walk through the door.
"I think he's had enough Talit."
The summoner stopped for a moment only to deliver one final punch to my cheek. He picked up the metal bar and walked out. I coughed for air a few times and dropped to my knees. Thankfully most of his punches were to my centre-mass so I got over it quite quickly. The most painful thing was still my jaw.
"Looks like you both had some fun."
"If this is your kind of fun then something is wrong with you. Apart from, well… all the other things which are wrong with you."
The chains returned to normal length, allowing me to collapse onto the ground. I heard the sound of Lita removing her armour so I tried to think of something fun to say.
"Is this the part that I'm supposed to enjoy?"
"That's the plan."
I sat with my back on the wall and took a moment to breathe. It didn't make any real difference but I decided to flatten the creases in my suit. Lita pushed up my chin to look her in the eyes. Immediately I had the same feeling as earlier but much stronger. She was wearing barely anything which was enough to make me lose control of what my body did. I couldn't stand the idea that I was not able to stop myself cheating on Ahri.
My arms grabbed onto Lita and pulled her towards me. We kissed but something was very clearly wrong. It felt cold and emotionless but I couldn't force myself to pull away as much as I tried. Against all my beliefs I almost prayed for some way out of that situation.
Thankfully, Shen had a habit of being there whenever something even mildly intimate was going on. I was surprised by the way he entered though. The normal was for him to enter by the door or a window, however this time he dropped in through the ceiling. He landed right behind Lita and just stood there looking curious for a second.
"Hmm… kinky."
He round-house kicked Lita to the head, knocking her aside. I was quite surprised to see the word 'adventure' along the blade of one of his swords as he pulled it out. With a few strikes I was free from my shackles so I got to my feet and mumbled thanks to Shen. Just as a precaution I got my armour on before asking the all-important question:
"Why is the word 'adventure' on your sword?"
"This is one of my adventuring swords. I couldn't find the other so I brought my 'teamwork makes the dream work' sword instead."
"How many swords do you have?"
"Oh not that many… five hundred at most."
"What! Where do you put all these?"
"I have two rooms. One for sleeping, one for swords."
He put his sword back in its sheath while I looked around the room for Ahri.
"Did Ahri come with you?"
"Yeah. Her and Akali were having a conversation when I found your cell so I just left them to it."
"Let's go find them then."
We walked out the door and turned left to go down the hall. I glanced backwards at the cell to see the guard unconscious on the floor.
"Aw I promised that guard I would be the one to knock him out."
"It was too tempting. Sorry."
"It's okay. I owe you one anyway."
We got to the end of the hallway and walked through an open door. The first thing I noticed was the many, many bodies on the floor. Then I saw Ahri and Akali standing in the centre of them all, chatting away as if the bodies were not there. When Ahri noticed me she waved and the two of them walked over to me and Shen, stepping over bodies on their way. The moment I was close enough I hugged Ahri.
"How was prison?"
"I got beat up and forced to kiss Lita so… terrible."
"Ah well, sucks to be you."
I pulled away from Ahri and looked at the floor, trying to find somewhere that wasn't covered in bodies. As I did that I realised that we were standing in a pool of blood. Until then I didn't think they were dead so it was quite a shock to me.
"What happened here?"
"The guards were having a meeting and when they came out this happened."
"Couldn't you have just knocked them out?"
"Look at them all Zoh. There's got to be thirty guys here. How do you suppose two of us could have knocked them all out?"
"I guess you're right. At least you two are okay."
"I'm not okay actually. Look at this red bit on my arm. It's definitely going to become a bruise." Akali pointed out while pointing at a red mark on her right arm.
"I hate to interrupt but this conversation would be better had at the League building." Shen declared while pulling an ear-piece from his pocket.
"Yeah I agree with Shen on this one." I answered as the sounds of shouting came from the hall where my cell was.
"Summoner, send us back!"
We appeared in my room with Shen and Akali no-where to be seen. I walked to the end of the bed and sat on it. After a few hours on the stone floor it felt very good to sit on something nice. Ahri walked over and sat next to me. We were clearly both quite tired so we simultaneously dropped backwards onto the bed. She wrapped her arms and a few tails around me so I held her as well.
My concern for how little Ahri cared about killing those people got too much for me so I had to bring it up:
"Do you care at all about those people you killed?"
"Sort of… neither of us could have died but they could still have hurt me and Akali quite a bit."
"I'll be honest I really don't like what you did but at the same time I would be thinking the same thing if you chose differently."
"I know. If it's any consolation we warned them how a fight would go but they wouldn't back down."
"It helps a little bit."
"Do you want me to help you get over it?"
"You should be the one who needs help getting over this."
"Despite everything I am not fully human Zoh. I do feel bad but I can just shrug it off."
"You're right. I sometimes forget that you haven't been human for a long time so I guess I should expect less of you."
"For now you should. Maybe I will develop these emotions at some point but for now let's focus on getting some sleep."
We got up then undressed. When we got in bed my mind drifted to thoughts of the many things that could make the next day as interesting as the rest. I came up with a few examples before Ahri saw fit to take all my attention by grabbing my arms and wrapping them around her. She looked at me and instantly I knew what she wanted. I kissed her happily while some of her tails snaked their way around me. To my surprise she pulled away first then snuggled against me.
She glanced up at me and mumbled:
"You're lucky I'm not in the mood right now."
"Too bad really. I wouldn't have required much convincing right now. I'm still feeling a bit odd from that spell Lita and her summoner put on me."
She looked back down and grumbled. Obviously it had gotten to the point where she didn't have the energy to bother so I felt comfortable teasing her. As a final gift before I let myself fall to sleep I scratched behind one of her fox-ears for a few seconds until I heard her purring.
The next morning (7th May 11:00):
"Who made this toaster and why am I not punching them?"
"I still don't know why you're having so much trouble."
"Look at this! It's always either too toasted or just warm bread! We never had this problem on my planet!"
"Yes but we're not on your planet."
"That shouldn't matter. How difficult is it to make a working toaster?"
"Clearly very difficult."
"Are you even listening to me?"
"Probably."
"Thanks. You're the most helpful person I know."
"I try to be."
She smiled at me and got back to eating her toast. Throwing the burnt bread I had created into the bin I put another round in the toaster and sat down next to Ahri at the table. I kept a close eye on the toaster until my toast popped out. From the table I saw that it was perfectly done so I rushed over and buttered it.
"Victory!"
I walked back and set my plate on the table. Ahri stared at it and giggled.
"What?"
"The butter isn't melting."
I stared down at my toast to see she was right.
"Ahri take your plate and stand over there."
"Okay."
She got up and walked over to the side of the room. I flipped the table upside-down and crossed my arms along with putting on a grumpy face.
"Just to be clear I'm not helping you put that back up." Ahri asserted. All I did in reply was grumble again.
"I'm going to go eat in the living room."
She walked out the door, leaving me to be grumpy on my own. I turned to glare at the toaster to see Bob on top of it. He was warming his belly on it and smiling. I got up and threw the chair across the room for no discernible reason. Pressing the button I appeared in the living room to see Ahri lying across the sofa with her plate on her stomach.
I wandered over to the sofa and pulled her legs up so I could sit down, putting them down on me once I was comfortable. She shuffled a bit and just continued eating. While still eating she chose to ask a question out of the blue:
"Hey Zoh we're pretty normal right?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Me and Akali were talking about it while Shen went to save you."
"To put it simply: no. The only couple I know who are weirder are Nocturne and Morgana."
"What's weird about us?"
"I'm technically an alien scientist from another planet who has an abnormal love of explosives and you're a fox-woman with two moods: horny and slightly less horny. Enough said."
"I have more moods than that. Like… uh… you know… those ones…"
"Exactly. Thankfully us being strange is a good thing. Normal people don't get into the League."
"Surely there's some normal stuff about us."
"We both look quite normal except this stuff." I answered while pointing to Ahri's fox parts.
"Is that all you can think of?"
"If you give me a few minutes I could think up some more."
"Don't even bother. Clearly Akali was right."
She put her plate down on the coffee table then rested her head on the arm-rest. A few of her tails pulled off her shoes and put them on the floor.
"Ah that's better."
I looked at her and immediately noticed she was not wearing under-wear. Ahri noticed where I was looking and smiled.
"In case you hadn't worked it out we're going to do some fun stuff in a little while."
"I guessed as much."
A knock at the door took my attention so I got up and walked over to it. I opened the door to see the summoner standing there, thankfully not holding James.
"Hello Zoh. You and Ahri have officially been released. This not only means you two will be chosen for important matches but also that your lore's have been released. The thing is the lore's may not be entirely accurate…"
"What do you mean?"
"Well let's just run through them now. Officially Ahri spent months in Ionia, using her charms to seduce and kill possibly hundreds of people. Eventually her conscience caught up with her so she came here for redemption."
From the sofa Ahri joined the conversation:
"That's not how it happened at all. I spent a few days there then left and only killed three people."
"Apparently this way was more interesting. As for Zoh well…"
"This is going to be hilarious isn't it?"
"As far as the people are concerned you destroyed all living creatures on your planet out of rage that none can explain. After years of solitude you found a way here and plan to do the same thing."
"…"
"It's my job to say that the summoners are allowed to make creative changes which they deem necessary."
"So they thought making me appear to be the opposite of what I am was necessary?"
"Yes."
"The worst part is it doesn't even make sense. I have appeared publicly and done nothing bad. Plus, if I wanted to destroy all life on this planet I could in a day at most."
"… Really?"
"Yeah no question. It would be incredibly easy. Ever heard of a directed asteroid? I could probably split this planet into a few pieces."
"Good thing you're on our side."
"It is a good thing. Doesn't change the fact my lore makes no sense."
"I'll have a chat with them about it and see what they think. For now I'll be taking my leave. Goodbye."
"Bye."
Ahri waved from the sofa as the summoner walked away. I closed the door then walked back to the sofa and sat down. She put her legs back on my lap and stretched her arms while yawning. It was clearly fake but I had no clue why she was faking it in the first place. She didn't let me stay confused for long:
"I could really go for a bath right now. But I'm far too tired to walk all the way there. If only I had someone to carry me there…"
"Can you not be bothered to walk to the button or do you just like being carried around?"
"I like being carried if you're the one doing it."
I got up and picked her up in the normal way. As I walked over to the button she giggled a bit.
"For the first time in all of history you have just done what I asked instead of being annoying in any way you can."
"I couldn't think of anything witty to say." I replied while pressing the button.
When we appeared on the island I was not surprised to see Shen. When I saw what he was doing it was a whole different matter.
"Shen why are you punching that fish thing?"
He looked over to me and Ahri then punched the fish one more time. It looked like a mix of a fish and a Yordle with blue skin and for some reason a trident. Shen then picked it up and threw it a few hundred metres out to sea.
"I was fishing peacefully when Fizz here tried to steal everything I caught."
"How much did you catch?"
"Fifty or so."
"Where are they?"
He looked around at the empty island then back to me.
"I'm going to kill that guy."
Shen waved then dived into the ocean. He went under leaving a very confused Ahri and me.
"Wont he need air?"
I looked at Ahri in response. After a moment she remembered who he was.
"Oh yeah."
I walked over to the hot spring and put Ahri down at the side of it. She sat at the edge with her lower legs in the water, moving them slightly to cause ripples in the water. I removed my shoes and socks then joined her. I put my hands on the ground next to hers. When Ahri noticed this she softly grabbed my hand and held it.
For a while we sat making ripples in the water, secretly trying to make the biggest one. I enjoyed every moment of it even though neither of us said a word.
A few minutes later she stopped so I did as well. She looked at me and smiled.
"I'm curious, what did you think when we first met? I was a little bit scared and a little bit curious."
"I was too tired after all that running to be feeling much."
"It wasn't even that far."
"We ran for hours without rest."
"I really doubt you couldn't feel anything."
"Well to be honest, I was nervous because you're the most beautiful thing I have ever seen so I didn't want to look like a fool."
Her smile widened and she kissed me. I put my hand on her waist and enjoyed the serenity of the situation. In the distance I heard the faint sound of Shen fighting something but chose to ignore it. Instead, I gave all my attention to Ahri.
If nothing happened in the next few minutes I would have been more than a little bit surprised.
Ending this here because I have a head-ache that could kill a whale.
No notes either. Bye.
