Easter holiday is here so this chapter might be on time… might be…

Still no puns because… *insert bad reason here*

Beginning of the chapter is around here somewhere! Everyone look for it!

Found it!

Chapter 23: Repercussions

I stared at Ahri, made speechless by my dis-belief. The best I could do was hug her and attempt to think of something to say. After a while I managed to think up something:

"Are you sure? How did you find this out?"

"I'm sure. I couldn't find you so I went to speak with Akali… she said we could go play with some of the League medical stuff and well…"

"How could this happen? I thought you said the League uses magic to prevent this?"

"It happened when we were in Demacia…"

I slowly pulled away from the hug but kept my hold on her shoulders.

"I guess the big question is… do you want to keep it?"

She wiped away a few tears from each cheek and shook her head.

"No, no I don't. What about you?"

"To be honest I don't either. It doesn't matter what I think though. You're the one who will be affected the most by this."

"So what are we going to do?"

"I guess we have two options really. We could let it happen then give the baby up for adoption or you could have an abortion."

"I don't think I can get through nine months of this…"

"Okay then. We will get this whole thing sorted as soon as possible. Sound good?"

"Yeah. It's weird to think we wouldn't have known about any of this if you were with me when I woke up. Speaking of which where did you actually go?"

"I took a trip back to my planet and killed the emperor. So, a normal day. Up until now."

"Why would you do that?"

"How about we deal with this problem before we talk about the next?"

"Okay."

I brought her into another hug to try and lighten her mood. It did, but only a little bit. A few moments later I pulled away and pointed out the obvious:

"I guess we should go find a summoner or something. We have a very awkward conversation to take part in."

A short while later (17:00):

Ahri POV

The weak sunlight was shining through the window to my right. In-between me and it was Zoh who was holding my hand with both of his. I was lying down in a hospital bed with one had holding my stomach and the other free for him to hold. Standing at the end of my bed was Shen in his surgeon clothes. He had only just walked in so his clothing was worrying me a little bit. Once again taking advantage of his apparent mind-reading ability he cleared away my concerns:

"In case you were wondering I am only wearing this stuff because I am in the process of replacing Zyra's kidney next door… I should probably get back to that… I'm sure she'll be fine. But anyway, I'm just here to assure you that this is a completely safe and really rather boring procedure. A summoner is going to do some magic stuff which will do all the work for us. The unfortunate thing is it takes ages. A few hours at the best of times. You can be asleep while it goes on though so at least you won't have to try and entertain yourself. I'm sure as hell not going to so it's good for me as well. Any questions?"

"No Shen. And thank you. It's nice to have a friend explain this to me instead of some random doctor."

"I'm happy to help. I've also put in the extra effort of making sure this is going to stay strictly between the three of us and Akali."

"Thanks again."

"I better get back to Zyra before she bleeds out. I'll see you two later I guess."

Shen calmly walked over to the door and opened it before turning around to face Zoh.

"You don't have to stay here by the way. I'd suggest you come back in five or so hours."

"No. This is my fault so I'm going to be here until it's done."

"Okay. If you get bored Alistar is next door and I got to dissect him so his organs are all over the damn place. I've been playing 'snap' with Kennen using them."

"As much as I would love to I'm going to stay here. Tell me if he's still in pieces tomorrow and we can play some games."

A pained groan from next door caught Shen's attention so he rushed out, closing the door as he went. I looked at Zoh who stared back with concern in his eyes. He brought his other hand up to hold mine with both of his.

"You really don't have to stay here with me. I'm going to be asleep for the entire thing anyway."

"It's my fault so it wouldn't feel right for me to leave."

"You can't blame yourself completely for this. It's as much my fault as it is yours."

"I'm the one who let it happen. I should have known that something like this was a possibility but I couldn't stop myself. Even if this was not even partially my fault I would stay here anyway."

"Thanks. I can't wait for this nightmare to be over."

"It will be soon. Now get some sleep."

I drifted off to sleep slowly. After a day like that I couldn't get into any sort of deep sleep so I felt myself wake up slightly every once in a while. Every time it happened I saw Zoh sitting next to me, and every time the light coming from the window behind him became dimmer. Eventually it got to the point where no light at all was coming from it so the room was only lit up by the electric light above me. For a while I distracted myself from the growing feeling of regret by wondering why they used magic fire for light everywhere else yet in the infirmary they insisted on the electric lights invented in Piltover. I thanked my luck when I felt myself fade away into dreams.

The next day (10th May 09:00):

The first thing I felt when I woke up was Zoh's hand on my cheek. He was saying something but I couldn't understand it because I was still mostly asleep. When I did gain most of my consciousness back I realised he was just saying my name, except he posed it as a question.

"Ugh… is it over?"

"Yeah. It's over."

"What time is it?"

"Nine AM."

"Why would you wake me up?"

"You were having a bad dream so I decided it would be better you just wake up."

"Oh yeah… I've forgotten what that was about."

"I dare not wonder."

Finally I opened my eyes to look around. I was momentarily blinded by the morning light from the window. My vision soon returned and the first thing I saw was Zoh, still sitting in exactly the same place. Even though my vision was blurry I could see that he was very tired.

"Zoh how much sleep have you gotten?"

"I dozed off for a minute and a half at one in the morning but that's about it."

"What? Why would you stay up all night?"

"Just in case something happened."

"There's commitment, then there's that."

"If anything bad happened to you because of this I would never forgive myself. I am willing to stay up for as long as it takes to avoid that. So yeah, commitment."

"Well, unless you suddenly fall to sleep on me how about we get going?"

"Yeah I'm running out of things to plan to invent so let's go."

I got out from under the covers and sat on the edge of the bed. Zoh helped me to my feet and made sure I was steady. After being asleep for so long it took me a moment to be able to stand up properly.

I turned to walk out but Zoh stopped me and turned me back to him. He held me by my waist and put on his concerned face.

"Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yeah I'm… I'm fine."

"You don't seem too sure."

"Just a bit hazy after sleeping so long. Don't worry about it."

"You know I can't do that."

"At the very least try and keep your mind off it. That's an order."

"If you really think you're fine then I'll forget about it for now. But if you start feeling un-well I'm taking you straight back here."

"Yeah but you'll have to carry me here."

"Why?"

"I like being carried. Why else?"

He rolled his eyes at me so I planted a kiss on his cheek. I pulled his left hand from my waist and held onto it. As I skipped out, Zoh opted to walk briskly. We got out the door but had to stop as Akali was standing in front of us. She was in her nurse uniform and looking down at a clip-board. When she noticed us she looked up and held the clip-board behind her back in both hands.

"Hi Ahri, you're looking cheerful. So I assume you got that 'thing' sorted out. Hello Zoh, you're looking terrible. Get some sleep dumb-arse."

"This is the thanks I get for being a good person…"

"Zoh shush. Important people are talking."

"Am I not importa-"

"I said shush! And yes Akali, I just spent the last sixteen hours sleeping while some magic removed it."

"Most people are less cheerful when they walk out of things like that."

"I'm keeping my mind off it as much as I can. No idea what will happen when I can't do that anymore."

"All I will suggest is to make sure that mister un-important is there with you when you do."

"I don't think I'll be able to get rid of him until something happens anyway so don't worry about that."

"Good. Just remember that if you ever need some help with anything I or Shen will always be around."

"I will. Thanks Akali."

"And Zoh for god's sake don't knock her up again until you two are actually ready."

"I didn't mean to-"

"Zoh you're still not important so shut it. Neither I or Akali cares."

"Oh how I would love to have a relationship like that with Shen."

"It might take some work but you can probably pull it off. We better be going now. I want to see what Zoh is like on coffee, just to cheer me up."

"Bye."

"Bye-"

"Zoh shush!"

He grumbled something that not even I could understand then waved to Akali with his free hand. Akali moved out of the way so I was able to continue skipping like before. I noticed that as we walked Zoh would look at me every few steps with the same concerned face as he had used all day. It quickly got on my nerves so I decided to do something about it.

"Zoh I don't mind you looking at me constantly but only if you smile."

"I'm still more worried than I am happy."

Just before we entered the main room of the League building I stopped and pushed Zoh to the wall. Quickly after I pressed my lips against his. I let it go on for a few seconds before pulling away slightly, only to tease him by going in for another quick one. When I was confident he had a good enough reason to smile I took a step back. Thankfully he was finally smiling so I held out my right hand for him to take. We got back to walking but the mood was generally more cheerful.

A short walk later we reached our room. I walked in and sat down on the couch. Zoh joined me but I had other plans for him at that point.

"You know how I told Akali that I was going to see what you were like with coffee?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah… you better go get some."

"Yes ma'am."

He got up and went to the kitchen while I entertained myself on the sofa by turning upside-down and hanging my legs over where my head would be. I looked up through the sky-light at the beautiful, clear day. The sun was over to one side but the rest was all pure blue. I tried to follow a line in my eye but every time I looked at it the line, which I named Dave, it moved away. This went on for a few minutes until Dave fell out of my view completely. It had annoyed me quite a bit while it was there but now that it was gone I missed it. Only then did I realise that a tear was making its way down my face.

"I don't miss Dave this much, do I?"

Before I had a chance to sit up properly thoughts of regret hit me like a truck. I began to realise how little thought we had put into the decision over our un-born child's life. Very quickly after that I came to the conclusion that, despite all the bad it could bring, I would have quite liked having my own baby. But already it was too late.

Zoh appeared by the button to the kitchen and looked over at me. Immediately he was crouching down next to me. I spun myself over so that I was sitting normally while he sat down next to me. With a tear still running down my cheek I rested my head on Zoh's lap.

"We've made a terrible mistake…"

"Why do you say that?"

"Because I want the baby back."

"Why? You said you didn't yesterday."

"All I saw was the bad stuff but now all I can think about is the joy it could have brought."

"Ahri we would not have been able to take care of it. Could you imagine growing up in a place like this? It would have had a terrible life with all these creatures from its worst nightmares walking around."

"Who said we would have to stay here with it? We could leave this place any time we want."

"If that was the case I wouldn't have been nearly as worried yesterday. We both signed a contract which means we can't quit for another five years. Until that time has passed we simply cannot have a family. I only say this because it is in the best interests of everyone involved."

"But surely there was a better way. Surely it deserves to live just as anyone else."

"At the stage it was at the thing was made up of a few cells. You would need a microscope just to see it. It won't have even been able to comprehend that it existed."

"That doesn't change my point."

"Yes, it does. If I were to take a few skin cells from my hand and show them to you would you argue they have a right to life?"

"This is different. Those skin cells wouldn't be able to grow into something bigger if they were given time."

"Ahri I'm not going to argue over this with you. Like everything else, when we both get bored of being with the League and decide to retire I will give you whatever the hell you want."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Well then… I want a tree-house."

"Why?"

"I didn't get to have a normal childhood so yeah. Just think, my life so far has been training for hunting, hunting, more hunting, yet more hunting, being a human for a few weeks. The closest things I have to a childhood are the memories that aren't even mine."

"Okay then. Anything else?"

"Yes actually." I replied while pulling a piece of paper from the back of my dress. I held it up for Zoh to take, which he did after sighing. My head was still in his lap so I could not see what he was doing but I heard him unfolding it.

"Uh… wow… why do you want an indoor swimming pool?"

"Why not? Don't forget the outdoor one as well."

"Do you really need both?"

"Yep."

"Oh my god when will you ever use a zero-gravity wine cellar?"

"It's not your job to ask, it's your job to do what I want."

"Fine. Although let it be known that I am against the idea of a twenty bedroom mansion."

"If it's so bad then you can live in the castle."

"You really don't want me having spare time do you?"

"Not for a while. When we aren't doing something you're a bit of a twat."

"I know that but you're supposed to pretend it's not true to make me feel better."

"Oh don't be so dramatic. How many times have I shown that I can make you feel better in about ten seconds?"

"Many, many times. Don't try and prove it now though. This conversation has had quite a few different tones already."

"What would I do from this position to change the tone?"

"I don't know and I don't care to find out."

"Don't worry I'm just kidding."

I moved my head around on his lap and yawned.

"What are you-"

"I'm just getting comfortable."

A second later I spun my entire body around so that I was looking at Zoh's stomach instead of away from him.

"Ahri I-"

"I'm just getting comfortable!"

From behind me I moved one of my tails and curled it around the back of his neck. Just too really piss him off I placed a kiss on the zip of his trousers.

"Really this is getting ridiculous now."

I got up and sat with my legs on both sides of his. Wrapping my arms around his neck I brought all my tails back behind me.

"You're so fun to tease."

"Good to know."

My arms moved up to the back of his head. With very little effort I pulled his head down onto my chest. He struggled against my arms but I held him there with relative ease.

"Ah Zoh… how would I entertain myself without you around?"

I released my grip and instantly he pulled his head back up. For a few seconds he gasped for air which nearly made me laugh for some reason.

"I could barely breathe down there!"

"Bet you still enjoyed it though."

"Don't be so sure about that."

I raised an eyebrow to him then pulled his head back down.

"Clearly you weren't focusing last time."

I let Zoh bring his head back up and once again he was breathing heavily.

"Now tell me you didn't enjoy that."

"I still didn't!"

"Well clearly you need another go."

"No, no, no that's not necessary."

I gave him a pat on the head and a quick kiss.

"Come on, we should go see your mother."

"Okay let's go right away. Also avoid the kitchen at all costs."

"Why?"

"No reason. Just don't go in there. And if you do, don't be mad."

"Whatever it is I am going to go in there five minutes after we get back so if there's anything you want to do in there before I do..."

"Yeah there are a few things."

"You're going to have to get the summoner because I can't."

From behind me I heard the sound of something teleporting in then the voice of the summoner:

"Don't worry I heard you. Also, bye."

We appeared on the sofa in Zoh's mother's house. I looked behind me and saw Zoh's mother reading a newspaper. She peered over the top of it and clearly noticed the way I was sitting on Zoh. I moved to a normal sitting position on Zoh's left side. She put the paper down on the table and sat back in her chair.

"Hello both. Where were you yesterday?"

"There was an issue we had to resolve."

"And I did a lot of sleeping."

"That's always good. So then Zoh, I suppose you will be wanting some answers right about now."

"Yeah. The main one would be: why did you leave?"

"I think it's easier that I show you."

She got up and walked to the door to our right. When she opened it I realised that it led to a corridor. Zoh got up and walked over to it. They walked through and closed the door behind them.

"Oh no I wasn't interested anyway. Just leave me in here, on my own."

I laid down on the sofa then rolled off it. Landing on my back I push myself up with the help of my tails. When I was up I noticed a small table next to the sofa with a lamp and a box on it. Picking up the box I inspected it carefully. It was just a small wooden cube with a lid on one side.

"Hmm…"

Seconds later I opened it and what looked like a snake flew out and nearly hit me in the face.

"Holy shit!"

I threw the box away and turned to face the snake to find that it was just a spring with some cloth around it that made it appear like a snake.

"Oh… that was anti-climactic."

I picked up the mimic snake then looked for the box. Realising I couldn't find it I just put the mimic snake down where the box was and sat back down. As I did that I heard something which surprised me a little bit:

"Zoh this is your little sister."

I got up and ran over to the door. Opening it I poked my head through and pointed at Zoh who looked back.

"Ha!"

Pulling my head back through I closed the door again and dived onto the sofa. I lay down on it and smiled at all the possibilities to annoy Zoh with that new information. Moments later the door opened then Zoh, his mother and his sister walked through in that order. Zoh picked up my legs and sat where they were before putting my legs down on top of him. His mother sat on her chair and his sister sat on her lap. The little girl looked at me quizzically but I had no idea what to do so I just avoided meeting her gaze as much as I could. Even while doing that I could feel the tension in the room like a solid object. I wanted to try and break it but I only made it worse.

"So then… this is fun."

"Zoh I thought you would have been happier about this."

"I would be but there's so many questions I have it doesn't even make sense."

"I bet Megan has a few questions for you as well."

"Ha!" I blurted out before I could cover my mouth.

"What is it?" Zoh's mother asked.

"Nothing it's just…"

"Just what?"

"Megan is a male name for foxes."

"That's not really relevant to the conversation."

"Yeah but I'm bored so just about anything could entertain me."

Just as I said that Megan jumped slightly and pointed at me with a massive smile on her face.

"It is you!"

"Hi, I guess. How do you know me?"

"I went to your concert in Piltover! For a moment I didn't recognise you because your hair and tails are different."

"Yeah this is the normal me. Also it's nice to meet a fan."

"This is so cool! Why are you here of all places?"

"I'm here with your brother."

"Eww but he's a boy and he has cooties."

"Yeah I know but someone has to carry me around when I get bored of walking."

"Mommy does that for me. Why don't you use yours?"

"My mom is a fox."

"What about your dad?"

"Also a fox."

"Two foxes make a human? School has been telling me lies."

"School is terrible. Isn't it Zoh?"

"I'm not being brought into this conversation."

"Wow. You could not be more boring if you tried right now."

"Yeah Zoh, you… uh… are the opposite of good… uh… bad!"

"I'm going to go get something to eat." Zoh's mother informed before standing up and placing Megan on the chair where she had been sitting. Zoh got up as well and they both went through to the kitchen.

"Hey Ahri is it true that you wrestle naked with men and win?"

I bluffed madly for a few seconds before I realised she wouldn't know what that actually was for years.

"Only with your brother. That's one of the other things that I use him for."

"Do you two live together or something? Like the shadowy guy and winged lady on the other end of the forest."

"Yeah we do."

"Why?"

"When you really like someone and you're both up for it you can decide to live together."

"Why?"

"Life is more fun if you spend it with someone you like."

"Oh. I don't have anyone like that."

"At your age you shouldn't."

"Okay. How old are you?"

"Twenty."

"Just twenty or twenty and a half or a quarter?"

"Just twenty."

"I'm four and three quarters."

"Cool. I'm going to go be annoying. Join me if you want."

"Sounds fun."

We both got up and snuck over to the door. Zoh and his mother were talking but I didn't bother listening. I knelt on one side of the door and Megan stood by the other. We both nodded at each other and walked in casually. Immediately I wrapped my arms around Zoh and loosened all my muscles, becoming dead-weight to him.

"Ahri are you bored or are you in an irritating mood?"

"Both."

"We'll go home then."

"Good because the only thing that has happened since we got here is that you have become grumpy."

"I'm not grumpy."

"Yes you are."

He was about to reply again when we suddenly we appeared in our main room. I was still hanging on to Zoh by his shoulders but despite that he decided to sit down on the sofa, leaving me hanging off the side of it uncomfortably. Thankfully he was nice enough to pick me up and place me next to him. I stared at him then pointed to the kitchen button.

"If there's anything you want to go do in there before I go get a cookie you might want to do it now."

His eyes shot to life and he flung himself off the sofa and towards the button. I waved goodbye to him before spinning myself upside-down to look for Dave. Unfortunately, the moment I laid my eyes on him a portal opened next to him which the old Zoh promptly fell through. He hit the floor just next to the table and grumbled some irritated noises. Using his walking cane to help himself up he looked around the room, I assumed for Zoh.

"Where is he?"

"In the kitchen."

"Then why the hell am I here?"

"How am I supposed to know?"

"Ah yes how could I suspect someone like you to know."

"What do you mean someone like me?"

"Hmm how to say this in a way that won't offend you… an imbecile. Do you know what that means?"

"How can you be such an arse-hole all the time when my Zoh is, on occasion, so lovely?"

"Because your Zoh is more interested in useless things like 'fun' and 'love'. I, on the other hand, spend all my time furthering my scientific knowledge."

"Oh so you are the dull one."

"I wouldn't call it dull."

"Everyone else would."

"You have succeeded in putting me in a bad mood so congratulations for that."

"Good to see something came out of this. Why are you here anyway?"

"I was just checking in on his progress with finding our mother."

"Yeah we found her. You can bugger off now."

"You did? Where is she?"

"A few hundred miles that way." I replied while pointing in a random direction.

"Helpful. I'm going to ask the other me."

He jumped back into the portal so I was once again alone. That isolation lasted a few seconds before Bob dropped onto the sofa next to me from somewhere above. I picked him up and put him on my lap, proceeding to stroke his back.

That went on for a few minutes until Zoh appeared in the room and walked over to me.

"You can go get a cookie now."

I looked down and shook my head before placing Bob back on the sofa. After that I stood up and wrapped my hands around the back of Zoh's neck.

"Sometimes you are the smartest stupid person I know. I just used the cookie thing to make you hurry up."

"Why would you want me to hurry up?"

"You'll see when we go and have a bath."

I dragged him over to the button and pressed it with one of my tails. Zoh finally managed a smile as he gently held my waist with his hands.

Within a minute I was sitting in the water as Zoh got in next to me. He un-tensed and sighed before declaring the obvious:

"Old me is a twat."

"Yeah he is. So are you sometimes."

"We are the same person technically."

"Yeah but there's one key difference…"

I trailed off then shifted over to sit on his stomach. Flicking my hair back I leaned in very close to his face then continued:

"He does science in his spare time. You do me."

"If so then now isn't spare time."

"Why? Not too tired for it are you?"

"No it's not that. I just don't feel right about doing anything with you after what's happened recently."

"Don't worry about that. I'm at peace with it all now because I know that when we are actually ready we can try again."

"Why does this matter so much to you? We are only twenty yet you seem to love the idea of having children."

"It's simple really. As a fox having children was second only to getting food. For some reason that is one of the only instincts which have stuck with me."

"Hmm. I guess that makes sense."

"Now then, how about I slide down your stomach a bit and we see where that goes?"

"Or how about we don't?"

"Why not?" I toyed while tracing a finger around his face.

"Because I'm trying to use this supposedly calm place to think up a way to deal with Lita."

"For god's sake why can't we just ban her from the planet or something?"

"… Ahri you're a genius!" He exclaimed before picking my up by my arm-pits and sitting me down next to him. Before I could do anything he was already gone so I was alone once again. I looked behind me for my clothes but instead I was met with Bob holding a towel in his mouth.

"Thanks."

I took the towel and wrapped it around myself. Not bothering to check myself I simply got out and walked over to the button. When I appeared in the room I headed straight to Zoh's room and found him throwing together various pieces of technology in an ever-growing mess of metal and wires. It grew to about half my size then suddenly Zoh stopped and just bolted some large metal panels to it, forming a large box with his usual button on top. Somewhere along the line he had put on clothes which saddened me greatly.

"So you ran out on me to make a box?"

"This isn't just a box. This box does important things!"

"What important things?"

"You know you said about banning Lita from the planet? Well I thought on it for a few milliseconds and came up with an alternate idea!"

"What is it?"

"Basically the idea is to prevent teleportation to this planet from any other. So all we have to do is get rid of Lita for a minute then activate this and she won't be able to get back here."

"Sounds… odd. But at this point I'll try anything to get rid of her. Just make sure it works before you do."

"Good shout."

He pressed the button on top, causing the machine to rumble for a bit. When it stopped one side fell off and a smaller button fell out of the machine. We both looked at it for a moment before Zoh reached down and picked it up. Pressing it the machine shouted at us:

"Teleportation disabled!"

I looked at Zoh who shrugged.

"I guess I made a thing which made the thing that I wanted to make. Strange."

"Everything about you is strange."

"True. I guess I won't need this anymore." He muttered before kicking the bigger box which fell into its components quickly. He pressed the smaller button and once again it shouted:

"Teleportation enabled!"

He threw it onto the bed then looked at me and smiled.

"You should be smiling. Good things have just happened."

"Can I ask how you got changed so fast?"

"Only you can see this suit. It doesn't actually exist but some technology I made makes your brain think it does. I got the idea from Doctor Who."

"Who's that?"

"Oh yeah you don't have television here… sucks to be you I guess, Doctor Who is amazing."

"Wait if that suit doesn't actually exist does that mean you are still nude?"

"Yeah. Which is awkward because there's a breeze in here."

"Okay then. We should go finish out bath."

"But what about the cool thing I just made?"

"I don't care. She's not here right now, is she?"

"Probably not."

"Exactly."

I grabbed Zoh's hand and pulled him back to the button. Pressing it we appeared on the island so I dragged him to the hot-springs. I threw my towel to the side and got back to where we left off earlier. My hopes were high by the time Zoh was back under me so I got back to business as soon as possible.

"Where do you want to start?"

"I don't know."

"How about I decide for you?

"I could make an impartial decision for you if it is what you want." Shen added from a metre or so behind Zoh.

"Shen why are you here?" I asked while pressing myself against Zoh to cover up as much as I could.

"To put it simply I was asked by Lita to tell Zoh how pissed off she is. Very. She is very pissed off. It's like someone punched her in the face while insulting her mother for a week. Apparently you killed someone important." He answered while looking at Zoh.

"Yeah I did. I'm getting good at that." Zoh replied.

"Yes well the thing is she is very annoyed at this point. Apparently you have a few days to give in or she's going to start bombing people indiscriminately."

"Oh dear god I have fucked up royally haven't I?"

"Clearly. So what's the plan then?"

"Honestly, I don't have one. I'll stick it to the last second then do something heroic I guess."

"Good luck with that. Also, she knows about the new thing you made a minute ago somehow."

"Amazing. I wonder how she plans to make my life difficult with that."

"No idea. I'm sure you will get around it eventually though."

"Yeah. Thanks for telling me about all of this Shen."

"No problem. I'm going to go find something to do. Probably Akali."

I waved goodbye to him as did Zoh. When he was gone I turned my attention back to Zoh who smiled at me.

"Looks like I may only have a few days left here if it all goes terribly wrong."

"Are you suggesting we enjoy it while we can?"

"Maybe."

A few hours later (17:00):

Rengar strolled over to the table without a care in the world. He was genuinely smiling yet nothing around us was dead or in the process of dying. As he sat down and placed his plate on the table I decided to find out what was up:

"What's got you looking so jolly?"

"I got a rework."

"Really? What did they change?"

"Everything in a few little ways. The general gist of it is that now I don't die nearly as much."

"That's good. You did a lot of that before."

"Yeah. It was hilarious to watch but not so fun to be a part of."

"Do you still have the same damage though? I know Kassadin has been really quite annoyed with the way they changed him recently because of the massive reduction in his damage."

"It's mostly the same. The only thing they have done which has not been to great is that my Q doesn't work on towers anymore."

"That kind of ruins the split-pushing part of you doesn't it?"

"Yeah but that stuff was always really boring to me anyway."

"All is well then."

"Indeed."

Behind us I heard the sound of high-heels closing in on our location rapidly. Zoh and I turned around to see Miss Fortune walking towards us, looking as annoyed as ever. When she got within a few metres Zoh got up and sighed, crossing his arms as he did so.

"Zoh I have had enough of your bullshit! We are going right now or else I am going to break your fucking legs!"

"Hmm, charming. Would you mind holding still for a second?"

"Why?"

He took a step back then threw his fist forward with enough force that it knocked Miss Fortune out instantly. She collapsed to the floor as Zoh tended to his hand as if he hurt it. A second later he re-joined our table, still nursing his hand.

"Are we just going to keep punching her until she gets brain damage and forgets about all of this?"

"Nope. That last one was special because I used some technology which will create fake memories of me and her having sex. Honestly can't believe I didn't think of this earlier."

"Neither can I. Good job anyway."

"Thanks."

I was just about to start eating when some red liquid dripped onto my plate from above. My nose twitched at the scent which I had become accustomed to in my lifetime. Slowly I tilted my head up and stared at the ceiling. Pinned to it by swords was the corpse of a summoner whose blood had been used to write a message next to it.

"This is what happened to the last man who betrayed me, Zoh."

"What did you say?"

He looked at me then to where I was staring and gasped.

"That's Talit. The summoner Lita was using."

Yeah I'm not going to show you what happens with that this chapter. I'm so mean.

But anyway we covered some… interesting subjects this chapter. The obvious example being abortion. I'm not going to share my opinions on the subject because it will only annoy people.

Also, as you may have guessed, when I said there would be no child characters in this series it was a red herring. Just me being a devious bugger to add to the surprise.

Apart from that not much is happening. The only major thing I should tell you about is that the event that was coming up in chapter thirty has been moved forward so that it will now be on chapter twenty five. I'm still not saying anything else about it so don't expect much.

As I have nothing else to talk about I'm just going to say goodbye. So, goodbye.

End of chapter.
