This episode is not really going to be like the others so I have no idea how it's going to be received but honestly I don't care.
Once again I have nothing to really put here so… Bah.
On with the chapter.
Chapter 24: Memory lane
I felt the sun warming my back as Zoh's hot breath warmed my face. He held me close with his hands on my waist while mine grabbed onto the grass below us. A weak breeze made its way over my back however I barely noticed it as I was so fixated on the eyes of the man below me. The ends of our noses were just barely touching but every few seconds I pushed past it to kiss him. If those were to be our last days together I wanted to spend them like that.
"I know what you're thinking and, if it was a choice, I would spend my entire life like this."
"How did you know?"
"Because you're smiling in that way that doesn't mean you want sex."
"Right now I don't."
"Good because I have a surprise for you."
"What is it?"
"It's a surprise that I can't tell you about. I have to show you."
"Where is it?"
He offered his hand which I eagerly took. With very little effort he pushed us both up and took me over to the button. When we appeared in the main room he took me over to the sofa. We sat down and he turned his head to look at me.
"Cover your eyes."
I did as he asked using my hand then moments later sensed we were in a different room. He pulled my hand down gently and I was met with the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. In front of me a star was collapsing in on itself. It turned from orange to blue then shrunk so small I could no longer see it. It then expanded to the size of a planet and sent out waves of white light before turning white completely, still pulsing the strangely calming light. It was a stark contrast to the spotted, eternal blackness of the space which surrounded it.
For the first time in a few minutes I turned my attention to Zoh who stared back at me lovingly. He was as far lost in my eyes as I was with his. My emotions boiled over and I couldn't stop myself from kissing him passionately. I wouldn't let him pull away for what seemed like hours. Clearly neither of us wanted it to end though so I felt my actions were justified.
After a while I needed to catch my breath so I pulled away, though only by a few centimetres.
"Thank you for sharing this with me."
"This is just the start. I'm going to show you all the most amazing things I have found in my short life."
"If that is so then we are going to share everything amazing you find in your entire life. Whatever happens, I'm not going to let Lita take you away from me for long."
"She won't. Trust me when I say this, she will not keep us apart as long as I draw breath."
"I know you won't."
"Now if you wouldn't mind we should leave. This asteroid we are on is flying towards that pulsar with worrying speed."
"Okay. I'll assume us hitting it would be a bad thing."
"You would be right to do so."
He placed a kiss on my lips but by the time that he pulled away and I opened my eyes we were in a different place once again. That time we were looking over a lake of gold surrounded by purple grass with trees of all different shapes, colours and sizes. We were still sitting on our sofa but Zoh was quite eager to change that. He got up and started taking off his shoes, an action I imitated quickly. When I was done he took my hand and walked cautiously onto the lake, taking me with him. I was surprised to find that we didn't fall in. We got to the middle of it at which point he stopped and turned to me, taking hold of my other hand.
"Quite a nice place. Wouldn't you say?"
"It is a bit better than just nice. Although I was just wondering, how are we not sinking into this gold?"
"I'd love to tell you but I would just be guessing."
"Let's keep it that way. Sometimes not knowing makes things feel… magical."
"You say that without having even looked up."
I stared up and, while it took me a moment, I eventually realised I was staring at a ring of rocks which seemed to curve around the entire planet. It looked close but I knew that it was only an illusion, like the clouds on Runettera.
"You really know how to impress a girl."
"I know how to impress you. For anyone else I would just have to guess."
"Good. That's how it should be."
"You know, I would offer you a dance but I've no idea how."
"Neither do I. There are better things we can do anyway."
"What would you suggest?"
"This:"
I gave him a kiss then a hug.
"I was also going to suggest we have sex on this but I'm not sure how stable this is."
"Let's not stick around and find out."
I let go of one of Zoh's hands then followed him as he walked back to the sofa. He sat down and I sat on top of him.
"Do you really need to sit on top of me?"
I stared blankly at him. We both knew how stupid that question was.
"Good point."
He covered my eyes with his right hand. Moments later I felt that we were someone else when the wind picked up massively. He removed his hand and I gasped in a mix of wonder and fright. We were on top of some sort of statue overlooking a picturesque city. It was night but the city was bright with lights, some of which moved around. Just beyond the city was the sea which gleamed in the moonlight. A headland stretched out to sea and had a small mountain on it, but the city just grew onto it. I looked along the coast but the city never seemed to end. Fireworks exploded all over the city in random places, giving off a very party-like vibe. I could even hear faint music which surprised me considering how high we were. The moment I looked down I realised that we were on top of a tall statue on top of a tall mountain, which explained the strong breeze.
"Where are we now?"
"The planet is called Earth."
"…"
"Yeah I know it's a terrible name but if you can look past that it is quite a nice place."
"I can see that. Are they having a party or something?"
"This city never stops partying. Before you ask, no I don't come here often."
"Really? You're exactly the kind of person I would expect to party all night and sleep all day."
This time it was his turn to stare at me blankly.
"Okay so I guess we are not going to go down there and join in."
"Definitely not with you looking like that. This planet doesn't have magic and the only intelligent species is human so people like you scare the hell out of them."
"Oh well. It's nice enough to just look at it."
"Yeah… actually we should go. That helicopter is going to pass right by us."
I hugged Zoh and closed my eyes. He returned the hug and when he let go I opened my eyes to find we were on Runeterra. It took me a few seconds to realise we were where it all began for me. I looked around and found the rock which the mage had been leaning against when I tried to comfort him. It brought back memories of my first moments of being human.
"I was so scared back then…"
"Enough to run for a few hours apparently."
"Look at it through my eyes. I changed species by magic then realise I'm being watched by someone. Let's also not forget that at that point I was basically a fox with a human body. What was I supposed to do?"
"Run a bit slower."
"Don't be silly. Think of all the people who it could have been. A lot of them would probably not have taken too kindly to me."
"You succeeded in making me friendly."
"Which was out of luck really. I didn't even know I could charm people for a while."
"Yeah right. Anyway this wasn't the reason I brought us here. I thought we could follow in our own footsteps on our way back to the League."
"Interesting. Maybe this time I'll actually be able to get you in bed before we get there."
"That is very likely. As much as I don't like to admit it."
"Come on let's go. I want to get to where we met before the moon comes out."
"Okay. What about the sofa?"
"Send it back home."
He pressed a button and the sofa disappeared. I got hold of his hand and started pulling him in the direction that I remembered going in.
Later that day (21:00):
We sat next to each other on the rock by the pond. Not a word had been said since we got up there and the only contact we shared was my left hand holding his right. We had only been up on the rock for a minute or so but already I was getting bored; a stark contrast to Zoh who seemed contempt with just staring at the stars. I was about to break the silence but he beat me to it.
"Before I met you the only thing I ever wanted was to travel up there and see what the universe could offer. I swore to myself that I would never let anything keep me in one place. Seems that idea has gone to hell."
"You don't have to stay here forever because of me."
"It's not that I have to. I want to stay here with you."
"I'll be honest; I still don't quite know why you like me so much. Well, apart from the sex that is."
"There are a million and one different reasons that I can think of off the top of my head. However, the way I like to think of it is that every aspect of life needs two things to function properly. Most of it works with one half but having both makes everything better. You are the other half for me."
"The way I think of it is that we have sex so often that we have both subconsciously decided to stick with each other for ages. Although I think you're way of putting it is better."
"I think so too."
I looked at Zoh then kissed him gently on the cheek. He looked down from the sky then to me and raised an eyebrow.
"Have we reverted to pre-pubescent teens?"
I kissed him on the lips for a few seconds then pulled back.
"How was that?"
"A definite improvement."
"So shall we get off this rock and find that hotel?"
"Hell no. We are just going to go back home. We'll resume this tomorrow."
"Sounds good."
He brought me back into another kiss then, while I was distracted, teleported us back to our main room. When he pulled away I jumped forward a draped myself over him. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his shoulder while my tails wiggled around randomly behind me.
"Normally you only do this when we are both naked and you're about to do some freaky stuff to me."
"Can I not do anything nice without you criticising me?"
"I'm not criticising anything. I am just pointing out that it's a certain time of night and you are mimicking some actions you normally do during sex."
"Just to prove you wrong we're not doing anything tonight."
"Okay."
"Fine."
"Whatever."
He picked me up then walked over to his room. We got inside and he put me down on the bed then started getting undressed. I moved over and sat on the end of the bed.
"So am I supposed to get undressed on my own?"
"You haven't forgotten how to, have you?"
"No but it's your job now."
"Actually my job is being a champion."
"Shut up this is your second job."
"How much do I get paid for this second job? And in what currency?"
"You get paid in love and sex."
"Can I use this currency to buy stuff?"
"No! You know what? I give up. I'll do it myself."
"Or you could say please and I'll do it for you."
"I hate you."
"Is that 'please' in a different language or…"
"Please can you help undress me?"
"Okay."
He stopped taking off his own clothes, having gotten down to just his trousers, and pulled me up. While he worked to get my shoes off I played 'rock, paper, scissors' with one of my tails. It took me worryingly long to realise that what I was doing made no sense. By then Zoh had managed to remove my shoes and was trying to get the rest of my clothes off.
"So am I supposed to do this every day?"
"Yeah."
"And the only reasons I have to do this are things which we do regularly anyway?"
"Yeah."
"Does that sound fair to you?"
"Yeah."
"Okay then."
He finally managed to pull off the last of my clothes so I got into bed while he got undressed. I laid in bed in a suggestive pose then remembered that I was not going to try anything. For a moment I considered moving but I was already comfortable so I decided against it. Zoh got in next to me then wrapped an arm over my shoulder. He planted a kiss on my neck in the exact spot where I was extra sensitive.
"Goodnight Ahri."
I turned over to look at him and immediately felt myself beginning to lose control.
"This really isn't working out for me. Can we do something?"
"Hmm…"
He pulled a compass out from somewhere behind it and gave it to me.
"Why have you given me a compass?"
"You see, this compass is special because it doesn't point North."
"Where does it point?"
"To someone who gives a shit." He declared, a smile appearing on his face as he did so. Immediately after he turned over and went to sleep.
"You're a horrible person." I mumbled while throwing the compass away.
The next day (11th May 10:00):
My eyes blinked open and I found myself lying on top of Zoh. I pushed myself up a little bit then let myself drop back down. My tired arms were nowhere near strong enough to keep myself up. When I tried again I got a tiny amount further but fell twice as hard.
"Ugh." I groaned before letting my head sit on Zoh's chest. Unsurprisingly all the movement had managed to wake him up. He opened his eyes and stared right at me.
"How did you get up there?"
"I don't know."
"Hmm. Interesting. Could you, by any chance, explain to me why I'm inside you?"
I pushed myself up slightly and looked down to find that he was telling the truth. Pulling myself out I moved over to the side and dropped myself back down next to Zoh.
"I'll be honest, I have no idea how that happened."
"Yeah sure."
"I'm not lying."
"Sure."
"Zoh if I wanted to have sex with you I would. Maybe I was sleepwalking or something."
"I've just lost the ability to care so how about we get up and continue where we left off?"
"Fine."
He got out of bed and started getting dressed while I struggled to get up. Eventually I managed to push myself up to be sitting on my knees. The sheets only covered my legs so the rest of me was quite cold. On the bright side Zoh looked over and stared for a few seconds.
"Really should have done stuff with that last night…"
"Yeah you should have. Instead of giving me a compass."
"You have to admit, that was funny."
"It was mean."
"That's not true. I gave you a present didn't I?"
"It wasn't a good present so I don't care."
"Oh I can't wait for Snowdown. I bet you'll be a joy to buy for."
"You'll be no better. What am I supposed to get someone who can make anything?"
"There's still an awful lot of time for us to get to know each other between now and then. I'm sure you'll figure something out in that time."
"It's ice cream, isn't it?"
"Maybe… Possibly… Yes."
"Good. Now you guess what to get me."
"Everything that was ever made. Ever."
"Yeah that would be okay. Not great but okay."
"That's what I expected you to say. Now hurry up and get dressed."
"Don't rush me."
"Fine then I'm going to go piss."
He walked out while I pushed myself up and started getting dressed. A short while later I was just finishing when Zoh rushed through the door and closed it behind him. He held his back to the door and from that and his expression I knew he did something bad.
"What happened?"
"I may have destroyed… a planet… not this one… but… yeah…"
"Obviously it's not this one. Was anything alive on the planet?"
"Nothing but me, Bob and Shen."
"How did you get there and how did you destroy an entire planet in the time it took me to get dressed?"
"I decided to go piss on another planet instead of in a toiled and somehow Bob followed me. You know Shen well enough to realise that if I knew why or how he was there something would be wrong. We got talking, I told him about nuclear physics and eventually stuff happened. Then there was no planet anymore."
"Again, all this in the time it took me to get mostly dressed."
"Well you had to put clothes on while all I had to do was put a bomb on the ground and run."
"Wait, were you on the planet when it blew up?"
"Of course I was. Where would I go to?"
"Another planet maybe?"
"That's not very fun."
"Zoh I can't believe you would do that! What if you got hurt, or worse?"
"Then I would be hurt, or worse."
"I'm serious Zoh. If I lost you I don't know what I would do. Especially like that. If you died on that other planet along with Shen what am I supposed to think? You suddenly disappear from the face of the planet without a trace and I'm left all alone. Does that sound fair to you?"
He pushed himself off the door and walked up to me. Seconds later he was mere millimetres from me and holding both my hands with his.
"Ahri you have to trust me more than that. I've been doing this for the majority of my life so do you really think that one planet exploding is going to take me down?"
"Is that supposed to make me feel better? Just because you've been doing something your entire life doesn't mean it's entirely safe."
"I don't know what you want me to say."
"Just promise me you will be more careful. When you go out and do something dangerous or stupid think about how you would feel if I disappeared one day."
"Okay. From now on I'll think 'Will Ahri kick my arse for this later?' before I do something stupid."
"Good. You know what comes next."
He smiled then gave me a kiss. After a few seconds he tried to pull away but I wasn't done yet so I got hold of the back of Zoh's head and kept him close. Eventually I felt that I had done enough so I let him go.
"That was nice. I'm a bit out of breath but still."
"Good. I'd kick your arse if you didn't."
"Let's be honest, I'm never going to stop enjoying stuff like that."
"Also good."
"Hey what's that on your palm?"
"What?" I asked while looking at my hand. There was nothing on it but when I looked back up we were back where we left off yesterday.
"Yeah I just didn't want to cover your eyes."
"Why am I not allowed to see us teleporting?"
"Because the technology will drive you too madness."
"Really?"
"Nope. I was lying. It can just give you a mild head-ache if you see yourself teleport. For the first few times anyway. I don't get it anymore but that's because I've been doing this for ages."
"Lucky you."
We started walking the way we agreed was the right way and eventually reached the spot where we split up before. I took the chance to survey the landscape and quickly found myself awe-struck by how beautiful Ionia was. When we were there before I never focused on anything except Zoh so I missed everything which I had time to admire the second time around.
"The last time we were here I was still in two minds as to whether or not I wanted to kill you."
"I know. Let's both be glad you didn't."
"Sometimes I'm not."
"…"
"Kidding."
I looked around again at the many rivers which snaked across the landscape in-between the many hills and through the forests, big and small. A few villages were dotted around and in the distance I could see the mountains I climbed with Shen. The area felt so serene and, for reason unknown to me, calmed me down.
"Zoh can we live in Ionia when we leave the League?"
"You're asking my opinion on something instead of just ordering me? Are you feeling alright?"
"Normally I know what your answer is going to be before you say it so I don't bother to ask."
"If you really want to know, I thought it was a given. You've lived here most of your life and this was where I teleported so it is a sort of home for both of us."
"Exactly. Just a warning though if you blow any of this up I will rip your head off and feed it to a Rengar."
"Message received loud and clear."
"I would say I was kidding but I wasn't."
"Yeah I get the idea."
"Okay. You sure you get it because I don't want to hurt you but I will."
"Yes I get it Ahri. If you want me to say it two hundred more times just ask."
"I trust you a bit more than that."
"Only a little bit, I'm sure."
"Why of course. You're known for having a million different plans going on at once and only telling people about one of them."
"Who knows me for that?"
"Everyone we know. At lunch and dinner if you go to the toilet we all try to think up plans that you probably have. My favourite was one that Morgana thought up where you planned on mining to the centre of the planet to see how warm it is down there."
"How does she know about that...?"
"Wait, you actually planned for that?"
"I was going to get a piece of the core and use it in an oven."
"You're not going to do that."
"But I-"
"No, Zoh. I'm sorry but it's too dangerous."
"Everything you're saying is, as my granddad would put it, 'bull-shittery'."
"You're not in a great mood are you?"
"I still haven't caught up on the sleep I missed while watching over you so no, not in a great mood."
"We can go back home and you can get more sleep if it would help."
"I'm fine."
"You sure?"
"Of course not but I'm too manly to admit it… I really am tired."
"Clearly. You're not manly at all and you know it."
"Oh really?"
He tensed his stomach and prodded it a few times.
"Feel that. It's like a wall made of steel!"
I did as he asked and had to agree with him. His stomach was absurdly strong.
"Just because you spend way too long working on these doesn't mean you're manly. It's a state of mind as well."
"I'm pretty sure I have that. I love explosions, fighting and women. Isn't that the 'state of mind'?"
"Homosexuals can be manly too so loving women isn't a part of it."
"Yeah but you get the idea."
"I was just kidding by the way. Hell, you shave with an axe when you can't find a razor. If that's not manly I don't know what is."
"That is manly and stupid. Funnily enough that sentence could also be used to describe me."
"Only slightly true. Sometimes you're very, very stupid despite being a genius."
"In terms of the universe I know very little so I'm not really a genius."
"I like the idea of dating a genius so yes you are."
"Well I guess I am then. Yay!"
We started walking down the hill towards where the remnants of the Noxian camp were. A short while after we wandered past it and I peeked inside. The bodies were still on the ground but they were starting to decay, creating an un-imaginably foul stench. Zoh didn't even give it a side-ways glance which I wasn't too fond of.
"Aren't you going to pay your respects to them Zoh?"
"Honouring the dead brings bad luck."
"That doesn't make sense."
"Once you're dead honour is useless. If a living person tries to give honour to the dead the time is simply wasted. In my culture if you waste time knowingly it is bad luck."
"It's almost the opposite here."
"Unfortunately I'm not from here so I am not going to do anything."
"This doesn't feel right Zoh."
"Nothing is right about this place. We should leave as soon as possible."
Zoh hurried his pace slightly, making me speed up as well. A while later we got to the creepy forest which appeared to be even darker than last time. We walked down the path and soon enough I could no longer look back and see the end if the forest. Zoh let go of my hand then put his arm over my shoulder. It did make me feel a lot safer but a few seconds after he did that someone shouted from down the path:
"Assistance would be appreciated!"
We both stopped and exchanged a look. He took his arm off my shoulders and we jogged in the direction the voice came from. I thought it sounded familiar and my suspicions were confirmed when we turned a corner and saw Shen buried up to his neck on the path.
"Ah hello. If you would be so kind as to remove me from my soil prison I would be eternally grateful."
"Who did this to you?"
"This is what Akali and Kennen consider a 'joke'. You don't happen to have a shovel with you by any chance?"
"I never bring a shovel. Do you Ahri?"
"Where would I put a shovel? I have no pockets."
"Note to self: add pockets to Ahri's clothes."
We stood either side of Shen's head and stared down at him. Zoh pulled a button out of his jacket pocket and pressed it. It beeped three times then started buzzing.
"Oh right, that's what this button does."
He stepped over Shen's head and pushed me with one hand by my chest until we were about a metre from Shen. Pulling back his hand he stood beside me and observed Shen.
"Are we standing here for a reason or did you just want to touch me there?"
"Both. Just watch."
A few moments later the buzzing stopped and a perfect square around Shen turned to water, who then swam to the side of the pool and pulled himself out.
"You have my thanks Zoh. I will not dwell on the subject of how you did that as I fear it would only serve to confuse me. For now, I shall leave you to continue your walk."
"See you later Shen."
He wandered off into the forest, attempting to dry himself as he went.
"We have most normal friends ever." I noted sarcastically.
"Considering where we work I would say we got lucky with how normal they are."
"Let's agree to disagree."
We continued walking and managed to reach the end of the forest just as the sun was setting. Looking down at the port I felt my stomach grumble.
"Can we go find something to eat?"
"How about we have a picnic?"
"Yeah sounds good. Shall we go down into the town and get the stuff for it?"
"Do you have any money with you?"
"No."
"I don't either. Thankfully, I have a button for this."
He pulled another button from one of the back pockets on his trousers. The moment he pressed it a chequered blanket appeared on the ground in front of us with a basket full of food on it.
"Do you have a button for everything?"
"Well… maybe…"
"Of course you do. If you didn't you would spend a week making them and just ignore me completely."
"I wouldn't ignore you for anything." He assured while we sat down on the blanket.
"Oh really?"
"Really."
"So if we were to find a planet made of diamond with hundreds of small stars orbiting it and I didn't want to check it out you would not go there to work it out for a few days?"
"If you didn't want me to. Although if you were okay with me giving it a look I would; however I would also come back here for a while every day."
"So you would ask my permission first?"
"Yeah. You are basically my boss so I have to."
"I hate you calling me your boss. I love being your boss but I hate you saying it."
"Why?"
"Because it makes me think that you consider me a boss first and a girlfriend second."
"That's wholly incorrect. I count you as the woman I love first, a good friend second and someone who I really want to analyse closer third. 'My boss' is somewhere around fiftieth in this list."
"Is that 'analyse' in a scientific way or a sexual way? I'm okay with one of those and not with the other."
"Yeah I think I can guess which one you're up for so we'll do that later."
"Now that's what I want to hear."
We ate the rest of our picnic in peace. When we were done I suggested we stay a while to watch the sunset. He agreed so we laid back and relaxed as much as we could. The sun slowly slipped below the horizon while the lights in the town flicked on one-by-one. Felling slightly cold I decided to cuddle Zoh and wrap a few of my tails around myself.
"Hey Zoh, you don't really think that Lita will be able to force you to go back right?"
"I highly doubt it. Whatever technology she plans on using to bomb innocents I will likely have a way of removing. If not I have a few other ideas so don't worry about it."
"Good to hear. If you left I would have nothing to do. And what about sex? That's your main job after all."
"I'm glad to hear that you have your priorities straight."
"Well what else would be your main job?"
"Annoying bastard?"
"That would work actually… Hey you said that we were doing this because there was a chance you might get taken away from me by Lita but a moment ago you said there was no real chance. What is the real reason?"
"There is no real reason. I just wanted an excuse to show you some amazing stuff then take a trip down memory lane."
"Aw you really are quite sentimental sometimes."
"I try."
"How about we go home now and… you know."
"I think I can do that."
He leaned over and planted a kiss on my lips. When he pulled away we were lying on our bed in the dim light of the magic candles. His hand trailed up my leg, pulling my dress up with it. At the same time he started kissing my neck, eventually moving down to kiss my chest.
"We forgot to clear away the picnic." I muttered, more concerned by where Zoh's hand was going.
The next morning (12th May 09:00):
"Ah wonderful I don't have a head-ache."
"You're probably just getting used to it."
"I should be after the amount of times we've done that."
I silenced him with a kiss. The last thing I wanted to be doing was get into a conversation about sex with Zoh. It was one of the subjects that he knew nearly nothing about so if we got talking it would become awkward. A while later I pulled away then hugged him tightly.
"Now this is very, very comfortable."
"Shush. I know it's comfortable, that's why I'm doing it."
"Well, good."
"What did I just say?"
"Okay I'll be quiet now."
"Why are you being quiet?" Akali asked from the door.
I stopped hugging Zoh to look at Akali who was leaning on the door-frame, a piece of paper in hand.
"I'm trying to have a lay-in so I don't want him talking. No offence but why are you here?"
"Shen said that he had something important to do so I had to do what he would normally do today. This was one of the things on the list."
"What is 'this' exactly?"
"It's written down here as 'interrupt/annoy Zoh and Ahri'."
"So he actually does mean to annoy us. It's not just him being an idiot."
"Actually there is a description underneath this. Apparently it is him being an idiot however he realises this and doesn't care."
"Does he actually consider us friends or is he just a massive twat?"
"Oh trust me his is a massive twat but he does consider you friends. As unlikely as that may seem. He also holds Zoh in particularly high esteem for being smarter than Viktor who he hates with a passion."
"Why is that?"
"Because Viktor tried to turn Shen into a robot."
"How did Shen escape?"
"Ancient Kinkou technique."
"You ninja's are so damn irritating."
"Yeah. We spend a week training in being annoying every year."
"Why?"
"Some missions require it."
"I'm just going to believe you and not annoy myself any further."
"That's the best thing to do. I'm going to go now and 'punch Annie in the face'."
"Good luck with that. Bye"
"Goodbye Ahri. And Zoh even though you haven't acknowledged my presence."
"I've been a bit pre-occupied by swatting away this damn tail." He pointed out as I felt one of my tails get pushed away.
"Oh well. I'll let it slide because you helped Shen ask me out ages ago and since then we have had so much sex. It's been really good."
She waved to us and walked out without another word. I looked back down to Zoh who gazed back with a smile.
"Akali is quite normal and she's one of our friends."
"Yeah she is. I'll give you that one."
"Now I guess I'll leave you to your lay-in and go make some coffee."
"After whatever happened last time I'm not sure that is such a great idea."
"I had some lessons with Jarvan so I think I have this coffee thing down."
"Did you just say you had coffee making lessons with prince Jarvan of Demacia? The guy who hunts dragons for fun."
"Yeah."
"Okay."
I moved over to let him slide out from under me. Zoh got on his main armour and walked to the door. He left, closing the door as he went. I adjusted the covers so that they did their job properly then moved around to get comfortable. Despite the numerous different positions I attempted nothing worked and I ended up feeling just as uncomfortable as I started. It took me a moment but I realised it was because I had barely ever slept without Zoh since I became human. After some more twisting and turning I got to a position where I was lying on my back, facing the ceiling. I pulled the covers over my face and spread my arms out as far as they could go. Seeing that I had nothing to do I got annoyed and punched the bed a few times.
"Zoh get in here I'm bored!"
I grabbed the covers and threw them away. Seconds later Zoh smashed through the wall right next to the door.
"Damn I missed the door!"
"Zoh what the hell? You better fix that soon."
"I might, I will, I… something… Bah what was it that you wanted darling?"
"Did you just call me darling?"
"Of course I did! Wait did I? Uh… hmm… yeah I think I did."
"How much coffee have you had?"
"This much:" He exclaimed while indicating an area ten or so inches in each direction.
"Why?"
"Well I had some then I decided that I should have some more then I decided on some more then I realised I was kind of thirsty so I had some more then I realised I put a lot of sugar in that last one so I made another with less to even it out then I realised another would be fun."
"Zoh for god's sake take a breath."
"Why would I do that when I can say everything I need to say much quicker if I don't like this which I'm doing right now unless you didn't realise but if you did then well done because you must be tired."
"Today is going to be interesting."
This is finally done! Wow.
So far this series has been really useful in showing me how much stuff happens in my life. The excuse for this one being late is that my dad got married last weekend so I couldn't really write anything.
For once I have something to write here. Most of it is talking to Azzuk so if you aren't him/her (I can't tell which one him/her is) then you can safely skip this.
1: I'm going to do more match descriptions and the next ones will detail the abilities a bit more.
2: Malzahar will be added soon. With every champion I have added so far I have played them first and the amount I enjoyed playing them determines how much they feature in the story. I just bought Malzahar on Monday so he'll probably be added in soon.
3: Tree houses are awesome. No more explanation needed.
Okay that's the end of the stuff where I'm replying to Azzuk so everyone else focus again.
Ha fooled you it's the end of the notes! I'm so devious!
See you in the next chapter (probably)!
