Banished but not vanquished
This is an AU story and based on the premise that Belthazor and Tarikin get banished from the underworld for a year and have to live amongst mortals as a punishment for past indiscretions towards the brotherhood. They consequently get into a lot of real trouble fitting into the mortal realm whilst still exhibiting demonic qualities, which lead to strange consequences for both them and the Charmed Ones. This will feature Prue & not Paige.
(Scene 1) the underworld
All that lit the spacious room appeared to be candlelight. Despite this the cavern seemed to emit an eerie glow, which provided more than enough light for the gathering that were meeting here tonight. Those whom were present wore hoods of black so as possibly not to reveal their true form, or alternatively for ritualistic reasons.
One of those covered in black seemed immensely aggravated, and had adopted the habit of pacing up and down. "Calm down brother, I am sure they will show they are two of our best demons." Pathas reiterated. Two of our most irresponsible they are probably out having a good time rather than respecting the will of the Brotherhood yet again another intoned. After much deliberation the two troubled demons appeared apeared in the hall for the meeting, which was about to take place.
They where their to discuss research into some antiquated magical tome and the increase in the presence of vampires in the mortal realm. Vampires could only be described as the living dead, or feeders on the blood of the living. They were not particular of whom or what's blood they took and it needed be mortal or human for that matter. Demon's particularly disliked vampires as they unlike those who fed on blood to sustain them in death; they were very much alive and didn't need such sustenance. The demon world thus viewed vampires as parasites or usurpers who would be better off if they ceased to exist.
Raynor the head of the brotherhood read aloud from the dusty old tome from the section how to destroy a vampire using non-magical methods, which seemed strange because all who were present were capable of killing one with the use of magic but maybe that just wasn't enough. Some of the methods suggested including burial at crossroads, a stake through the heart as well as decapitation and burning.
Vampires had no friends in the mortal realm or that of the supernatural as both the forces of good and evil tend to be hostile towards them and for good reason.
At the end of the meeting Pathas suggested putting Tarikin and Belthazor to death for their insolence and instead it was decided by the brotherhood that they must spend a year in the mortal realm whilst still being at the bequest of the brotherhood. Whilst still working for the brotherhood they would not be allowed to return home to their dwellings in the underworld for the duration of a year in mortal time.
note: the charmed ones will not appear initially in this untill chapter 2. The bit about vampires will come into play later. I also don't know how Tarikin or Belthazor are going to meet the charmed ones yet. Hopefully I will think of something
