A/N: Well now, certainly been a few years since I dared to do a Magic Roundabout story. I've been wanting to do a reboot of my old series for a few years now and this marks the official reboot of it. I'll still keep Belonging and Family up mostly to show how I've hopefully improved from them both.
I don't own any characters used in this story, they belong to Serge Danot
It had been a few weeks since that day and things had soon calmed down to a new normal.
Train's nightmares had become far less frequent since he came under the primary care of Mr. MacHenry and had been put to work.
He certainly hadn't realised how busy the gardener was but he didn't complain, it was nice to get to work rather than do nothing all day. Having to remember all these new routes to nearby towns and villages had all but pushed the nightmare to the back of his mind.
Of course remembering what he'd been told certainly helped too.
He even had his own shed now which was great for when it started raining.
Of course he still made time to go see his friends in the village, on days where he'd been particularly busy Mr. Rusty would take the time to check him over to make sure everything was running like it should.
By now Zebedee was back to his normal self, though he kept a stricter eye on what went on around the roundabout.
Train couldn't say he blamed him really, if he'd been having nightmares he couldn't imagine what kind of things Zebedee would have been dreaming about.
It had been one of the quieter days and Train was taking a rest in the shade of the Windmill, which was one of the few places he could stay without getting in anyone's way.
"Thought I'd find you here."
Train looked over hearing Florence.
"Hi Florence. It's nice to see you today."
"You certainly sound more cheerful than a few weeks ago." Florence smiled.
Train nodded.
"Actually been sleeping since then..I owe you and Dylan alot."
"I'm glad you've been able to get a better night's sleep. You certainly look better."
Train nodded again before opening one of his doors for her.
"Want me to give you a lift back? It's the least I could do."
Florence smiled climbing in.
She'd never had a ride in him before, let alone in the front seat.
But she was certainly glad Train had perked up and stopped having nightmares.
"So, what have you been up to lately?" She asked as they set off.
Train paused
"I'll take the long road back and I'll tell you everything."
