Unpredictable
"The fuck? What kind of ninja uses a freakin' parachute, fer shit's sake?" Cid had once snorted, earning him a very close brush with death by her shuriken and a rather hard kick to the balls.
No one ever asked that question again.
Of, course, Cid would never understand. Cid was predictable. That's why he preferred his precious hand-built ships. He could control them, direct where they were to take off, go, and land. He lived for the skies, the exhilarating feeling of being free, of going where no one else could reach him, but he would rather command the direction of travel than simply trusting the wind.
But she loved it. The feeling of completely giving herself to the wind, going where it went, letting it control her flight pattern gave her a rush. Soaring above the ground, going higher and higher, utterly exposed, the risk of death so near made her whoop with excitement and aspire for higher elevations, the constant danger keeping her on her toes, adrenaline rushing through her entire body.
The wind was unpredictable, and that's what kept her going. Never knowing where she was going, or how far, or where she would be deposited kept the spark alive inside of her, always wondering what would today's adventure would be.
In a way, you could say that every member of AVALANCHE was predictable, even Vincent (for as she had long since learned, silence is not necessarily a factor a unpredictability). Everyone, except her. But she loved it. And like the wind, she would stay that way, forever letting life sweep her along, going it where it went, always waiting to see what surprises lay ahead.
Like the wind, she would always be upredictable.

A/N
This was a random little drabble about Yuffie that popped into my head out of nowhere the other day when I was watching Advent Children for the fifth time and refused to get out. I'm really sorry if this seems a little weird, it's my first time writing in this particular fandom. So please review and tell me what you think! Thanks for reading.
