AN: So sorry for the late update. Today I found the time to upload. I had the time to write more chapters however not the time to upload. Finals are coming soon so I'm getting study guides and information about graduation. Hope you enjoy this chapter. I squished the Deliora Arc into one chapter as I felt that I could get everything into one.

Anyway, on with the story. ~Immortalshark

*Lucy's POV*

We had just gotten to the docks and a boat when I felt a familiar mage nearby.

"You have a lot of nerve stealing an S-Class mission." Gray said.

He had a satchel hanging off his shoulder with black pants on. This time, his clothes seem to be made out of his magic so they were still on.

"Hello Gray." I said.

He smirked, "I'm here because Master ordered me to bring you back." he said.

I frowned before sighing, "Well, now that your here, you know I'll be fine."

"I do, it's Natsu that Master's worried about." Gray said.

Then a boatman spoke up, "If you stop the curse on the island, then I'll happily take you to it!"

"Deal." Natsu said.

Apparently Natsu had a conversation with the boatman while I was talking with Gray. He knocked out Gray and we got on the boat. Though right as we took off, Natsu got seasick. He was begging me to heal him but I told him to tough it out. Gray was tied up so he couldn't escape though that was Natsu's idea, so I went over to him and untied his hands.

"So, why'd you let us on?" Gray asked.

"The name's Bobo, and if you must know. I used to be a citizen of Galuna Island." The man said.

"Really?" I asked.

"But I had to flee. I just couldn't take it anymore. I should warn you, tragedy befalls anyone who steps foot on the island. There's no avoiding it that is unless your able to lift the curse." Bobo said.

We looked to the island and I noticed that the mountain top was glowing. Then I heard something coming.

"Sounds like a wave is coming." I said.

"Uh Lucy!" Gray yelled.

"It's a giant wave!" Happy screamed.

"Now don't panic, just hold on." Gray yelled.

I called upon Aquarius and she came. She wrapped her tail around me and she controlled the wave to take us to shore. I took the time to hold Aquarius, just enjoying holding who I consider to be my mom. When we got to shore, the boys climbed out.

Aquarius looked at me, "Now you brat, I've got a date with Scorpio. You know the drill."

I just smiled as she kissed my head before disappearing, though not without a glare at Natsu for making me take this mission on. I giggled as Natsu had paled.

*Gray's POV*

I watched the interaction between Lucy and Aquarius. I knew from experience how close those two were and I smiled. It had been a while since I've actually gotten to talk with my sister so I wasn't that mad about Natsu forcing me to come.

"Well despite our boater ditching us, we still managed to make it here safely." Lucy said.

"We made it to the island and that's all that matters!" Natsu said.

Lucy stretched, "Its too late at night to go exploring right now. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to sleep." she said.

"Yeah, that sounds good right now." I said.

Natsu complained about where we were going to sleep. I just ignored him in favor of turning towards Lucy, who was under a tree in a patch of grass, asleep. I smiled and decided to join her. I felt her shift and sigh in her sleep. I fell asleep pretty quickly despite Natsu's whining about how he didn't get that spot. At this point, I'm joining in on this mission.

The next morning, Lucy was up pretty early. Natsu complained about it and I didn't care. I was used to it from traveling with Lucy for a time.

"So there's only one village on the entire island. The chief originally put in the request, so we need to find him." Lucy said.

Natsu nodded.

"Not so fast." I said from my spot next to her as I wanted to find out more about the job.

"Give it up Gray, you can't take us back to the guild now that our boats been destroyed. Plus Lucy won't take us back because she's on my side." Natsu frowned.

Lucy was looking at the request, "Don't speak for me."

I just smirked to annoy him but Lucy smacked my leg.

"Let's go Gray." she said.

We found the village after about an hour of looking. The gates were closed and Natsu was geting impatient.

"Let's bust in." Natsu grinned.

"No." Lucy said just as two guards appeared above the gate.

"Who goes there?" they said.

Looking up, Lucy said, "We're wizards from Fairy Tail responding to your request!"

"Why were'nt we notified when you accepted the job?" one guard asked.

"It was last minute. Probably got mixed up in the paperwork." I said.

"Then let me see your emblems right now!" they said.

We did. They let us in and I knew who was in charge. Lucy was in charge of our group for this mission but Natsu had taken over due to boredom. Lucy had let him and was silently in the background. She was probably taking in all the information and using it to determine what was really going on here.

We got into the hut that the chief provided us to sleep in.

"I never knew the moon could be so creepy." Happy said.

Lucy was just staring at the moon. "It's not creepy but there's something interesting about it."

Happy looked at her, "Why do you say that?"

She didn't answer as she was focused on the moon. I looked at Natsu, who was pale.

"I'm not so sure about this job guys." Natsu said.

That got a reaction from Lucy, a growl, "You were the one who was so hell bent on beating Erza and Laxus. You chose to steal the job. You now have to deal with the consequences. This is exactly why it's an S-Class job. Something else is here. Something regular mages can't handle. These are the missions Erza takes on a frequent basis."

I just nodded along. I knew I wasn't ready for S-Class jobs and I was proud enough to admit it.

"I wonder how many punches it'll take? You think I can handle it?" Natsu asked, obviously ignoring the fact that this was his idea in the first place.

Lucy turned around and one eye was slitted. It was a reminder that she was a Wolf Slayer. Yes I knew what her second magic is. How could I not? I traveled with her after I ran into her again, I was bound to know her second magic.

"It's the job we were hired to do. We can't back out now." Lucy said.

"What their asking can't be done. How do you thing you can get to the moon anyway?" I questioned.

"With Happy." He said.

"I don't thin so." Happy said.

"Lucy?" Natsu asked.

She just shook her head, "Can't help you."

Natsu then complained again. I looked to see Lucy was already asleep. That next morning, I was up with Lucy. We sort of fell back into our rhythm and we packed our stuff. Natsu was complaining about how it was early and that he was tired.

Lucy rolled her eyes, "Stop complaining. You went to sleep the same time I did. You don't see me complaining now do you? Stop your whining and get moving."

She turned to Happy, who was sleepily floating next to us. She grabbed him and he mewed. She put Happy on her head.

"You sleep there Happy for a little okay?" Lucy said.

Happy just purred, "Okay. Thank you."

"You're welcome." Lucy said.

Natsu complained about it not being fair that Happy gets to sleep in and he doesn't, which made Lucy stop and Natsu to crash right into her back.

"You complain ONE MORE time about you being tired. I will Lucy kick you back to the hut and have Virgo guard you while Gray and I finish this mission. This is what you signed up for by grabbing the request. Some missions require you to get up at the break of dawn just to find what your looking for. If you can't handle waking up at ungodly hours of the day, then you're not ready." Lucy growled at him.

He whimpered, "Aye."

Lucy turned around and walked on. I caught up to her and we started talking about how to break the curse. As we walked further, we heard stomping noises.

"What was that?" I asked.

We looked behind us and saw a giant rat.

"What the heck?" Natsu yelled.

I watched as Lucy pulled out a key and Virgo popped out.

"Punishment?" she asked.

Lucy smirked, "Yes. That rat there needs to be unconscious."

The following two minutes were the scariest of my life. Natsu paled too. Once the rat was down, Virgo disappeared. We went into the ruins where Lucy and I looked around for any clues. Natsu stomped on the floor as if to prove the point that the floor wasn't safe to walk on.

The floor gave way and we fell. When we reached the bottom and recovered, we noticed a cave. We followed it to see a giant block of ice. There was something inside of it.

I looked closer and I froze, "That's impossible."

Lucy came over to me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"It's Deliora." I said, "But how? Why is it here? What the hell is it doing on Galuna Island?!"

"You've seen this thing before?" Natsu asked.

"There's no...no way." I mumbled.

I felt someone grab my face and I know it was Lucy. I looked into her eyes. She reached a hand up to my face.

"Gray, take a deep breath and calm down okay. It's still in the ice, it can't hurt you." she said soothingly.

She placed her forehead on mine and I calmed down a little. I held onto her.

"It's Deliora. The Demon of Destruction." I managed, though only because Lucy was here.

"But why is it here? It doesn't make any sense?!" I demanded.

"Hide. Now!" Lucy growled and we dove behind a rock. Three people came down and they were searching for something. They were arguing and we caught their conversation.

"So Toby, were you exposed to the moon drip? You've got those pointy ears." the blue haired one said.

*Lucy's POV*

I tuned out the conversation once I heard the words 'moon drip'. Lyra piped up in my mind.

-Lu, moon drip can melt the ice shell.

Basically, you all know the story. We wait for night to fall and to see what the moon drip does. Unfortunately, Natsu blows our cover and we engage the mages sooner than I wanted to. I found out that Leon was the one to do this.

*Erza's POV*

I sighed as I made my way towards Galuna Island. I make it back from a mission only to find out Natsu had stolen one. I knew Lucy could handle herself and Gray could too. I reached the dock where I threatened a pirate into giving me a ride to the Island and where I met a friend of Lucy's.

"Why are we heading for Galuna Island anyway?" he asked.

"Shut up and navigate!" I said, not in the mood for any games.

"Pardon me miss," another crewmember asked, "Galuna Island is cursed...I heard rumors that humans turn into demons there…"

"I don't care!" I snapped, "I have someone to punish. That's all there is to it."

"You sure are harsh, aren't you?" the woman I met asked.

I looked at her, "All you've told me is that you're a friend of Lucy. I need more information than that, otherwise…"

"Oh my," she said with a smile, "Yes sure. I met Lucy years ago. My village had been attacked and I was the only one left. Lucy and another woman helped me and so I traveled with them. She basically became a second mother to me as did the other woman. When we arrived back in Fiore, we split ways. Now I keep track of dark guilds for her and my other mother. I let her know which ones are gaining momentum and she either lets me handle it or she comes and takes care of it herself. She pays me for the ones I take out so I've got a good job."

I frowned, "That sounds like Lucy. I still need a name though."

"Aw," the girl smiled "I'm Meredy."

Soon we made it to the island. Thankfully a pillar of light showed and I made my way over there. I got there just in time to see a giant mouse about to attack Lucy. I jumped in front and slashed the mouse across the middle, sending it flying again with the sheer force of the blow. Meredy had popped out of where she was.

"Hi ma." Meredy said, "Thanks for broadcasting your location to the entire island with that light show."

I watched as Meredy hugged Lucy and was engulfed in Lucy's arms.

"Hello Merry." Lucy said. "What are you doing here?"

"Never mind that." I frowned, "Lucy why are you here? I was told that Natsu stole the mission and convinced Gray to accompany him and that you went with him. Is that true?"

Lucy just sighed, "Natsu stole the mission, broke into my house to tell me about it. I went with him in case he got himself killed. Gray came along just as we reached the dock. Natsu knocked him out though and by the time Gray woke up we were off in the ocean. Laxus really doesn't like Natsu but he knows that I can take care of myself. In fact if it weren't for the fact that he's on his own mission, he probably would have been the one to get us instead of you."

"That explains so much and yet I'm more confused." I sighed, "but I guess I can figure it out on my own."

"So why are you two here? If you knew I was here, surely you knew I can handle the job." Lucy asked.

I blushed, "Yea. I was worried about you. The guild made it sound really dangerous."

"Aw, you two make a cute couple." Meredy said.

I was about to punch her when Lucy stepped up.

"Yes we do. I met up with her a bit after we departed and have remained in contact with her since." Lucy said.

Meredy just smiled, "I'm gonna go find your teammates. I still need to talk to you later though."

"Alright." Lucy said.

Once Meredy left, I unequipped my armor and hugged Lucy. I held her hand.

"What's going on here?" I asked her.

"The island is in danger thanks to her boss and teammates." Lucy said and pointed to the fainted girl, "They're trying to revive Deliora and the villagers here are suffering from the effects of their magic. We're trying to save this island, but honestly some people are making it difficult."

"I see," I said, "I guess I can help you guys out, since you didn't break any major guild rules. Natsu however isn't getting away with it."

She just smirked, "Oh I know. He's paled a couple times throughout the mission. I pointed out that it was what he had signed up for."

We headed for the village and we waited for Gray to wake up. He came into the tent and froze.

"Erza?" Gray choked out.

"I got the whole story from Lucy," I said.

I got the story from him and we left to go find Natsu while Meredy stayed back to protect the village.

*Ultear's POV*

I had heard of this man who believed that he had surpassed my mother's magic. I found him and pretended to be on his side. So I showed up on this damned island.

"Deliora's revival may be more difficult now." I said.

"So you were here after all Zarti." the man said.

"Tonight the moon's power will be at its strongest," I smirked, "However, if someone interferes in the moon drip ritual, Deliora will forever remain encased."

"This is nonsense," he scowled, "I should have just taken care of them all myself."

"Your opponents are Salamander, Titania, and Kelas." I said.

I watched as the temple tilted and then the perpetrator revealed himself. I played with him as he wasn't that hard. I heard Leon, the man that believed that he could surpass my mother, say something that annoyed me.

"I am Leon, I am the only mage that can defeat Deliora. It would be a disgrace to my name if a brat like you proved too much for me." he said.

I nearly smacked him for that. My mother trained him to be the best ice wizard he could. Gray as well. I watched from the shadows as Lyon and Gray. All of us covered our ears at the loud sound.

Gray looked up, "That sound...I can never forget that sound .They actually revived it." he said.

I felt a shift in Lucy's form and saw that her eyes were green. I followed them along with the others. I could see the smirk on Lucy's face.

"We're gonna have to fight this thing! We don't have a choice!" the pink haired one said.

Lyon was crawling towards the demon, "Neither of you are strong enough...but I am...I will defeat it."

"Lyon." Gray said.

"I'm going to surpass Ur...finally." Lyon said.

I chose that moment to show up and sock him in the face, "You can't even get up off the floor"

"I've waited so long. For this moment, she was strong but still not strong enough to kill that demon. I'm going to do the one thing Ur never could!" Lyon said, "Finally...my dream will be fulfilled!"

Gray smacked him, "You've caused enough trouble. Now I have to clean up your mess." he said.

I felt someone touch my arm. It was Lucy who was smirking at me.

"Tag team?" she said.

I smirked and we went at the demon. Lucy went at it from the front and I went at it from the back. Man, I haven't had this much fun in a while. Then the demon toppled because Meredy came and took out the feet. When we got back to the group, Lyon was in shock.

"No way. It can't...it can't be." he said before mumbling, "Deliora. There's no mistaking it...it was already dead. For ten years, Ur has gradually depleted the demons life force. And what we just saw, was nothing more than its last dying breaths."

Before I reached the man, Lucy picked him up and growled low at him. He whimpered.

"Lucy? I…" he started.

She placed a hand on his head, "Lyon, if you truly understood what the spell did, you would have known that what ever is incased in the Ice Shell would die. The castor becomes the prison but they also spend the time slowly defeating whatever is imprisoned and would eventually die. The spell lasts however long the entity lasts and how long it takes to defeat it, eventually it wears out and the castor returns."

Lyon had tears running down his face, "But...I just wanted to be better than her."

Lucy smacked him, "You idiot. If you had followed her last wishes then you would have been better than her. You wanted to surpass her? Gray already did by the time he joined Fairy Tail. He used the knowledge given to him by your teacher to better himself and those around him. To make sure whatever happened to him, never happened to anyone else if he could help it. He was right you know, Ur was alive."

Lyon looked down. Lucy gave him a lecture. Then turned to me and smiled. I looked at her and hugged her.

"Thank you." I said.

She smiled and kissed my forehead. She also gave me a necklace with the water from mom's Ice Shell. She did it so that I would have something of my mother. I left with Meredy and headed back towards the main land.

*Erza's POV*

"We completed an S-class all by ourselves." Natsu yelled with excitement after he realized that we won.

"Aye! You think Master Makarov will let us take on more S-Class requests?" Happy said.

I was about to say something but Lucy beat me to it. Literally, she bashed Natsu on the head.

"I doubt Master would let us take on more when we haven't even completed the job yet. Our job was to help the villagers and return them to their original form. Deliora being here was just coincidence and timing. Deliora wasn't the cause." Lucy said.

I nodded and so did Gray.

"This curse you all keep talking about never had anything to do with the demon. The villagers have been affected by the intense magic energy released from the moon drip spell." I said.

Lucy looked like she had an idea but needed more information. Gray looked towards Lyon who was standing close to Lucy.

"Hey Lyon. Do you know?" Gray asked.

"To be quite honest I don't have a clue." Lyon said.

"You don't know?" Natsu questioned.

It was apparent that Lucy ignored Natsu and so did Lyon.

"So the curse didn't start at the same time you guys got here?" Lucy asked.

"When we got here three years ago, we were aware that there was a village here somewhere but we had no reason to communicate. So we left them alone and they never came to the temple to see what we were up to." Lyon explained.

"In three years you've never once met?" I asked.

"Something about this doesn't make sense. The moon drip's light is so bright that you can see it from practically anywhere on the island. I find it strange they never came to investigate." Gray said.

"The villagers weren't transformed by the moon drip. It doesn't affect the human body." Lyon said.

Lucy had an ah-ha look on her face before turning to me and Gray, "That's what they meant by destroying the moon."

Gray looked confused for a second before smirking, "Well it's certainly worth a shot."

I thought about it as well before catching on to what Luc had in mind. "So Gray's ice, my strength and Lucy's firepower?" I said.

Both nodded and so we headed down the mountain. Though before we did, Lucy turned to Lyon.

"Hey Lyon. You should join a guild. They're not as bad and you might like it." Lucy said.

Lyon just nodded, "I'll try it."

We got back to the village to find it completely fine.

"Now that it looks like somebody fixed the village and added some new stuff, you might wanna avoid destroying it Natsu." Lucy said.

I looked to see Natsu banging his head on a nearby hut.

"Are you saying I destroy everything I touch?" Natsu yelled.

Lucy looked on, "Yes."

Natsu was yelling and Lucy just ignored him to find the chief. We talked and then gathered the villagers.

"Lucy, Gray, come with me." I said after I equipped an armor made for this, "I'll need your help to destroy the moon."

"Gladly." the two said.

"Gray, I need you to make an Ice spear. " I said and he did. "Lucy I'm going to need your power as a boost."

Lucy nodded and pulled off her cloak. I nearly choked on my own spit as the cloak dropped. She was absolutely stunning. She had black pants on with her combat boots and a black fitted tank top that showed off her muscle.

"Erza." Lucy said.

I snapped out of my fantasies to see her smirking at me.

She stepped closer to me and whispered in my ear, "Like what you see?"

I nodded and then shook my head as we had a job to do. I readied the spear and right as I was going to release it, Lucy unleashed a wave of her magic. The spear went flying and then the moon cracked. Then the moon was still there but white. I explained the reasoning to Natsu and the villagers.

We enjoyed a feast that the villagers made for us as a thanks for restoring their memories. The others that had followed Lyon came and apologized. The next morning, Lucy tended to Gray's wound.

"Well, I did my best but it's gonna leave a scar." she said.

Gray shrugged, "I don't mind having a few scars as long as I can see them. It's the ones you can't see that sting."

Lucy smirked at him, "You're quite the ladies man aren't you?"

Gray blushed a little. Natsu growled, "So you've got invisible scars?"

Shockingly, Gray didn't rise to the bait and instead looked at Lucy with a sheepish grin on his face. Lucy smacked him gently on the chest.

"Hey, what was that for?" Gray complained a little.

"For being cocky." Lucy smirked before a necklace appeared on Gray.

Gray looked at it and smiled at Lucy. He gave her a hug.

"Thank you." he said.

Unfortunately, their moment was ruined by Natsu growling and pulling Gray off of Lucy.

"She's my partner. Not yours." he said.

Before the two could get into it, Lucy grabbed Natsu by his hair and he whimpered in pain.

"Get this into your THICK ASS SKULL." Lucy growled at him and bared her teeth, her eyes were glowing, "I am not yours. I am not something to hoard Natsu. I am not a possession. YOU do not get to decide who or what I get to like. All you did was show up in Hargeon. You think you brought me to Fairy Tail. Nah. I was already a part of Fairy Tail before you even showed up. All I was doing was making good on a promise I made to someone. YOU just so happened to be in the right place at the right time."

Natsu tried to get out of her grip but couldn't.

"Oh and one more thing before you start," Lucy said in a low growl, "Gray is my BROTHER. I met him LONG before you. I know exactly what happened and why this meant so much to him."

With that Lucy let out one last growl and threw Natsu to the ground. Then the village chief came up and we declined the reward.

"But miss! YOu deserve the reward so take it. Please." they said.

I smiled, "Thank you,but your gratitude is payment enough."

Lucy nodded. Then they made it as a gift and so we took the gate key in an agreement. Lucy smiled as it was a gold key. A key that glowed when it got near Lucy. Soon, we were off and we got onto the pirate ship.

"A pirate ship?" Gray asked amused.

"Yeah, I can see it. Totally her style." Lucy said.

Gray chuckled, "Yep. Hijacking a pirate ship and scarring the crew to do so."

Natsu was sick again while we moved across the ocean and soon we were home.

"We're home!" Natsu said, "But I'm bummed. All that time and hard work for some lousy gate key."

"Yeah and that S-Class reward was big time money." Happy agreed.

"Well, it wasn't an official job. Just be glad you got something." I said.

"She's right, besides, it's rare to get one of the twelve zodiac keys. I'm lucky to find another one." Lucy said.

"Hey Lucy can we sell it?" Natsu asked.

Lucy grimaced, "No. The golden keys are hard to come by. I should be lucky that I have most of them."

"Too bad their all crazy." Natsu said.

Lucy grimaced again, "I'd watch what you say, otherwise some of my spirits might come out and give you a good beating and I won't stop them."

"They can't hear me. So no." he said.

Gray spoke up, "So which one did you get Lu?"

"Sagittarius." she said.

I decided to give them a good scare, "You're all so care free. It's almost as if you've forgotten you face punishment when we get back to the guild."

Natsu freaked out but Gray and Lucy were calm.

"But why?" Natsu whined. "Everything worked out in the end, can't we just forget the whole punishment thing?"

"Everything worked out because Lucy and I figured out what was really happening. Need I remind you that stealing an S-Class quest is a serious offense." I said. "Plus it's not up to me. It's up to the Master."

Natsu groaned, "I'm not worried. I'll just talk the old man out of punishing us. That guy likes me."

And so the punishment was the changeling spell. You all know what happened there so I'm not gonna go into that mess thank you very much.

AN: And that's a wrap. What do y'all think? Any thoughts on Laxus and the Legion's reactions to Lucy? BTW, I will call Laxus' group the Thunder Legion or Legion for short as I find that name cooler than the Thunder God Tribe or the Raijinshuu. I know that people have preferences but I saw them referred to as the Thunder Legion in something and I liked that name.

Updates may be slow for now as Finals are approaching. My finals are next week, May 12-14 with Graduation on the 15. So I'm gonna be busy this week studying for finals. Please be patient and reviews are nice to read. ~Immortalshark
