*Mira's POV*

Cana was trying to find Mystogan with her cards, "Damnit! I can't figure out where Mystogan is!"

"That's too bad." I sighed, "If their target is Lucy, they're bound to attack us again."

"And with so many of us injured, we'd be in a tight spot." Cana added.

"Master is seriously wounded and we can't find Mystogan. Please Laxus." I said.

Laxus was on the communication lacrima, "huh?"

"Please come back!" I said, "It's an emergency!"

"It's no concern of mine." He said. I knew he had his wall up.

"Lucy is being targeted!" I told him and with that a calm anger crossed his face.

"Blondie is the one they want?" he asked.

"Yes." I said, "We need your help."

Laxus began sparking, "I'm coming. Give me two seconds to grab my team. We're coming."

I sighed in relief.

*Laxus' POV*

My team and I were just about done with the mission. It took too long to complete though. My lacrima rung and I picked up cause it was Mira. I put up my cocky bastard front.

"Master is seriously wounded and we can't find Mystogan. Please Laxus." she said.

"Huh?" I asked.

"Please, come back." she said, "Its an emergency!"

"It's no concern of mine. The old geezer had it coming." I said.

"Lucy is being targeted Laxus!" Mira said.

And that was what it took. I felt my dragon roar in anger.

"Blondie is the one they want?" I asked.

"Yes" mira said, "We need your help."

I felt my magic roar to life, "I'm coming. Give me two seconds to grab my team. We're coming."

I ended the connection and barged into Bixlow's room.

"Pack up NOW. We need to get back to Magnolia." I said.

I knew I left no room for argument and soon Freed and Evergreen were by my side too. We got onto the fastest train possible and once on it, I was too focused on getting to Lucy, my kin, to really care about motion sickness.

"Laxus, what's the deal? You've never been this in tune with the guild." Bixlow asked.

"Phantom wants Lucy. Phantom attacked my home because Lucy is their target. I'm not letting them take her." I said.

Everyone's faces fell and Evergreen was glaring.

"They want Lucy? They're gonna have to beat her first and that's after we get to them." she said.

In a couple hours, we were in Magnolia and we sprinted to the guild. We made it just in time to see Phantom's guild hall walking towards Fairy Tail's. And just in time to watch them fire a cannon, a beam of light at the guild hall. I ran as fast as I could, only to see a giant golden shield come into view. It was Lucy. I ran as I saw her fall from exhaustion. I somehow got there before anyone else and caught her.

"Lucy." I said and I knew my dragon was purring.

She looked at me and put a hand on my face, "Hey Sparky." she said quietly.

I hugged her close to me as I heard Jose's voice.

"First it was Makarov and now Titania and the Celestial Nightshade are down. YOu don't stand a chance." he said, "Hand over Lucy Heartfilia right now!"

I growled.

"Hand her over." Jose said again, "I won't ask a third time."

I blasted the cannon with a good blast of lightning. I heard the screams inside and knew that I had shocked them.

"Laxus." I heard and turned to look at Lucy. "He's got a trick up his sleeve. You have to take out the cannon. He's got a spell on most of the Element Four and Gajeel. He's making them do this. Juvia, the Water Woman of the Element Four, doesn't want this, she just wants to be accepted somewhere. Gajeel, same thing. His dragon claimed me as kin as well. The other three want to do it so they don't resist the magic."

I nodded at her before launching off and into the cannon. I knew Natsu, Gray, and my team would follow. Freed would stay with the others and put up a barrier. Bixlow would help with his soul magic, and Evergreen would stone them.

*Gajeel's POV*

Damnit. I knew he would make me do something I didn't want. He forced me to try and hurt Lucy. I watched as my body snuck up on her but she kicked my ass again. She put a hand on my head and a light ingulfed me. I knew what she was doing. Then she went after Jose. From the looks of her, her second magic was acting up, which meant a full moon was nearing. Which also meant Jose is screwed. I wanted to go to watch her back. What? Are you surprised I'm not going to fight him too? I ain't got a death wish thank you. Lucy has this in the bag, plus she probably has tricks up her sleeve that I haven't seen yet. Unfortunately the spell had a backlash as it didn't like it when Lucy tried to remove it. And so, I had to go against the one dude I didn't want too; Fairy Tail's resident Lightning slayer.

*Lucy's POV*

I went after Jose when I beat Gajeel. I tried to free him from the spell and take him with me but the spell didn't like that and clung on even harder. I didn't have time for that right now and it would probably take someone to knock Gajeel unconscious for it to work. So, I went for Jose while Laxus went after Gajeel with Natsu. Jose showed us what he did to the guild, which was crumbling.

"You bastard…" I muttered.

Laxus and Gajeel looked over and just backed away. Natsu was roaring in triumph.

"You dared raise a hand against Fairy Tail?" I started, "You dared mock our guild? There can be no forgiveness for what you've done!"

My magic was swirling around me. The full moon was on the rise, I knew because the wolf magic in me was reacting, wanting to be free. I howled and heard answering howls. Soon my pack was here and we took down Jose, to the point he was unconscious. I wanted to kill him but we chained him and left him for the Rune Knights to pick up. We also left him under a spell where he had to tell the truth. If he tried to weasel his way out...well. Let's just say he wouldn't. Oh and gave Virgo permission to punish him with in reason.

The wolves all dogpiled me in happiness. Raven was here too so I made sure to give her good pets. I found her spot and she was a puddle of happy goo. The Rune KNights came and questioned all of us. Gajeel came up to me and apologized profusely, in front of everyone too. He also apologized to Jet and Droy before coming to stand next to me.

I knew he was feeling bad so I stood closer and put a hand on his chest. He looked down at me and in his eyes I could see the young boy he was so long ago, asking for forgiveness.

"It's okay. It wasn't your fault." I said.

He smiled a little and wrapped me in a hug. I knew what he needed and so we went somewhere quiet. My house and I put up the wards. Wards that no one could get through since they were written in a language no one knew but me. He broke down and I held him.

*Gray's POV*

I knew something was wrong. Lucy hadn't been seen in a little bit so I decided to head to her house. Natsu and Erza had the same idea as did Laxus. I wasn't bothered by Natsu's probes at getting me to fight. It was Lucy's house after all and I don't think she would like it if she came back to find it destroyed.

I heard Natsu take a sniff and growl.

"That Iron bastard was here." he said.

I'm assuming he's talking about Gajeel. Lucy had seemed comfortable around him so I didn't really mind. Laxus was the one to bash his head in.

"Of course he was, Lucy's his kin. So am I for that matter." Laxus said.

Ah, now that made sense. Now I know what your all thinking 'Gray, you know about that?" Of course I do. I know about Dragon Kin. I read up on it when Natsu arrived. Lucy had taught me how to read and I found that I enjoyed it every now and then. She also had me read up on Dragon Slayers, Wolf Slayers, and all those. I knew she was also a Wolf Slayer, not just a Celestial Wizard.

Erza was searching around and started shaking. "I found a note. Evidently Lucy left it for us. It says that she's going home."

That was shocking but not really. I knew she was going to go talk to him herself and didn't want anyone following. Of course, we as a team and Laxus decided to follow. Laxus seemed to know where he was going so we followed him.

*Gajeel's POV*

The Rain Woman had joined Fairy Tail and so did I. Juvia joined because of Gray and the kindness Lucy showed her. I joined because I got to be closer to my kin and a job. I stayed with Lucy in her house because she let me. I provided the food to cook since I missed her cooking. I wasn't gonna be a tough guy around her and she didn't mind.

I followed her to her old home. The reaction she got from the maids was hilarious. And it took a second for my mind to process what I was seeing, so excuse me for my speechlessness.

*Lucy's POV*

I made my way to the place I never thought I would ever step foot on again. The Heartfilia Konzern. I stopped and looked at the mansion, the mansion that held so many memories. Good and bad. Good because mama was there and I gained another. Bad because Jude was unstable. I made my way to the courtyard where I saw one of the maids that tended to me sweeping.

She looked up and smiled before all the maids and servants that knew me came and surrounded me. However, those that were swayed by my father ran for the hills. I sighed and just headed for the study. I didn't care what I was wearing and I knew Gajeel was behind me. I let him come because I knew his dragon didn't want to let me out of its site again.

One of the maids stood at the entrance to the study.

"Mistress…" she started, "I'm afraid your father won't"

"Move." I said.

She did and I sort of felt bad for her. She was obviously new here so I smiled at her a little.

"Relax. My anger is not at you. Please, leave us." I told her politely.

She relaxed a little and ran off. And once she was out, I opened the door.

"You ran away without saying a word to me. How could you?" Jude asked.

I rolled my eyes, "Like you care. Besides, why would I tell a complete stranger I was leaving? It's not a stranger's business to know mine."

He narrowed his eyes at me, "Don't get smart with me young lady."

I scoffed and felt Gajeel shift behind me. He was in his shadow form so he stayed in the shadows until needed.

"Or what? You really think you have what it takes to put your filthy hands on me? Go ahead and try it if you want me to send you to an early grave." I snarled, "But fortunately for you Fairy Tail wizards don't kill, and I respect Makarov's rules."

Jude scoffed, "You have no buisness with that filthy guild. You are a lady born of the Heartfilia family and will act as such. I have set up an arranged marriage and you will meet with him without any complaints understand?"

I snarled low at him as I knew my eyes changed. "You seem to believe I came here to make amends. Well screw you. I am a Heartfilia, not you. You married into this family. Now that youu need me for something you decide to try and find me. What...Fiore not good enough for you? I left this dump because I was following the will of my CLAN."

I heard Gajeel growl too.

"Oh yes, the clan. It disgusts me that you've disgraced the clans name and made it into something it isn't. We are proud Celestial Mages, not princesses." I said. "Before I leave for good, which is what I was happily doing before your sorry ass came and ruined it, there's something I wanna say and your gonna listen."

"Lucy." Jude started but paled.

I knew Gajeel had chosen that moment to show up.

"All the money in the world can't buy you happiness! I figured that out when I was a child! And I'm not gonna let you ruin it for me." I growled and my magic flared out to what it is. "I'm warning you! You better not mess with Fairy Tail ever again."

He got up and tried to grab me. Instead I grabbed his hand and pinned him against the wall.

"As far as I'm concerned," I whispered low in his ear, "Your no father of mine. If you threaten us we will crush you just like any other enemy. That's not even including what my spirits want to do to you. The thing that I'm keeping a tight grip on right now as they want to come and claim you for them. Make you pay for what you did to me."

I let him up.

"What's sad is that it didn't have to be this way. Oh and I'm not 'Lucky Lucy Heartfilia' any more. I'm Lucy of Fairy Tail, Kelas the Celestial Nightshade. Fairy Tail treats me like family. Something you never did."

I turned to leave him when I heard him snarl.

"Lucy, you will marry Prince Sawalu of the Junell family. He has expressed interest in you and I have made a deal with him. You will produce an heir, a boy." he said.

I felt Aquarius' rage and smirked at him.

"You think I'm your property?" I asked, "That ended the moment you hit me."

He growled, "I never hit you. You complained to much about a mere smack. Your mother never said anything. She never gave me as much trouble as you did. I had no qualms in making you behave."

And that was it. I lowered my gaze and bared my teeth.

"Someone wants to talk to you." I said in a sickly sweet tone, "Someone who has been waiting for years to do something about you."

I brushed my hand over Aquarius' key and she appeared in all her glory. To my surprise, Aries came through as well. Her horns were larger and she was standing in an attack position. And then the next five minutes were the greatest of my life. Aquarius had Aries trap Jude in her wool as Aquarius completely shattered what Jude was. Brought up situations and Jude paled. When both were done, Virgo popped out.

"The Princess is the best master any of us have ever had. You deserve punishment." she said.

I watched as Jude got pummeled by Virgo before the rest of my spirits took their turns. I was surprised at who was last. It was Scorpio. And his way of getting back at Jude was showing him that they were all toning their attacks down. Scorpio finished it by smacking Jude away with his tail before leaving. I walked over to him and slapped him, making sure I left a mark. Oh it wasn't one that would scar but one that would hurt like a bitch. I leveled my gaze at him, the calm stare my mother gave him whenever he angered her.

"Listen to me well Jude, or should I say Judith?" I said and watched his eyes widen, "You married into wealth Jude. Do not forget that you took on my mother's name. Mother told me how she met you. I didn't come here to make amends. I came here to say my final goodbye's."

I stared at him with my emotionless and cold look, the one that made people run away.

"I didn't make the wrong choice leaving this place. I left because I couldn't stand how I was being treated. You practically disowned me when I was seven. I made a new family, a new life. One that doesn't include you. My spirits took care of me. My spirits, the people you hate, took me under their wing. They raised me. They did the one thing you never did, treated me like family. I hoped we could come to an agreement, be a family again, but I guess I was wrong. I'm not Lucky Lucy Heartfilia anymore. I'm Lucy of Fairy Tail." I said as I walked away.

Once all that was done, I left with Gajeel in tow. He had also gotten a few good hits in on Jude. I stopped at my mom's grave when Laxus, Gray, Erza, and Natsu all came walking up to me. Laxus looked at Gajeel and just smirked.

"She got you too didn't she?" he said.

"Yeah, she kicked my ass before." Gajeel replied.

Erza hugged me. "So this is your mother."

I looked at the gravestone. "Yeah."

"I've always wanted to see what your house looked like." Erza smiled, "I must say, I like your home town. It's such a peaceful place."

Gray nodded, "I like it. It's quiet."

I smirked Oh this is gonna be sweet "This isn't a town." I pointed to the mountain, "The Heartfilia estate reaches all the way to that mountain over there."

I could tell everyone's brains short circuited.

"Holy crap she's rich." Gray said.

"And acts like its nothing!" Natsu said, but I could smell something on him.

"The sky is so beautiful." Erza said.

I laughed as I walked by them. Laxus and Gajeel were next to me. I wrapped my hand around Gajeel's just to let him know I'm here. He was such a sweet soul, it's just hidden by his experiences. He's gruff but just a big ol' teddy bear. Laxus was sparking a little but I put a hand on him as well. He just smirked as we headed home. Erza was right behind me and Gray was next to Laxus.

When we were a good distance away from the Konzern, Natsu growled at Gajeel, who had no problem growling right back.

"You have no right to be here. She's MY partner." Natsu growled.

Gajeel growled right back, "She's MY kin. And I met her long before you. You don't own her."

I had a feeling they were talking about me. Laxus stepped in.

"And she had already promised us that she would join Fairy Tail. It was just a matter of when. I met her long before any of you." Laxus said.

I put a hand on both my boys chests and they calmed down. "Easy boys, he doesn't know."

Gajeel wrapped me in his arms and pulled me close to him. Once he let go, Laxus did the same thing. I knew what they were doing.

Natsu growled, "Know what? I don't care that she made a promise. I found her and brought her to Fairy Tail."

Oh boy did that earn a low growl. I looked to see Luna. She had disappeared again and I knew that she was running with the pack. Then Luna shifted into her human form.

"Son of Igneel." she said with teeth bared, "You do not OWN her. SHE is her own person. SHE can KICK your ass ten times over. She was trained by the best of us and ran with us. She can kick your ass before you even know it."

I walked over to her and I knew something was wrong. Normally, Luna doesn't like her human form but here she is.

"Luna. What's wrong?" I asked.

She looked at me and bowed her head. I knew what that meant. I'm the leader now.

"What happened?" I asked.

"She finally passed from old age. Knew that she was ready and told us to find you. You are her heir and therefore the next Alpha." Luna said.

I nodded and felt my magic change. It was strong before but now it has expanded. The alphas of the pack always had a larger magic capacity in order to protect the pack. The true alpha that is. If an alpha is overthrown by another with outside help or by deceit, then their magic remains the same. If an alpha is overthrown fairly, then the one who won would gain the magic of the Alpha. I looked to see my pack that I grew up with and they all bowed.

Natsu scoffed, "Lucy isn't that strong. She's just a Celestial Mage. What's so special about that?"

My pack growled low in a threatening way. I put my hand out and they snarled but didn't attack.

I turned to Natsu, "Please, you are nowhere near my level. Laxus is the closest one to me but even then I still kick his ass."

"And I try to catch up with ya but you keep getting better." Laxus said with a proud look but I knew he was pouting a little.

"Yeah, you kicked my ass the first time. Hell, I didn't even get to land a hit on ya. I even went into my Shadow form and still couldnt beat you. Earned my kinship." Gajeel said.

Natsu sneered, "She's not stronger than the one raised by the king of the dragons. What's a puny wolf in comparison to a dragon?"

I felt a certain key warm and I let her through. Normally, when she was calm and playful, she was smaller. However, because she is pissed, I barely came up to her belly and I'm 5'10", 6' in heels. She growled low in her throat.

"The princess was trained by the first WOLF, and her SPIRITS. She is the strongest in centuries." she growled.

Natsu backed down but he didn't look convinced. Lupus, the Celestial Wolf, disappeared. It was known that yes the males of a species were strong, but the females were stronger. They had to be in order to protect the pups and hunt. Thankfully we got back to the guild without any more problems.

*Mira's POV*

I was talking with Lucy when Natsu and Gray came over to the bar.

"Hey Lucy, who's the strongest?! Me or this guy?!" they yelled.

"Erza." Lucy responded.

I laughed at the boys faces.

"Lucy that's mean-" Natsu whined.

I was going to step in when he got nailed in the head by a barrel.

"Why don't you tell the others how you feel?!" Erza yelled.

I looked over to see Erza glaring at Laxus, who had a glint in his eye. Lucy gasped.

"I have no problem telling them what I think of 'em." he said.

There was a collective gasp as Lucy made her way to him. He was talking about how he was the strongest when Lucy put a hand on his chest. I saw a change in his face. He was being cocky but a flash of pain crossed his eyes. Lucy grabbed him and dragged him to the office.

*Laxus' POV*

I hadn't been to the guild in a while because of the damned lacrima. It was acting up again. Today wasn't that bad so I headed to the guild with my team. Unfortunately when I smelled Natsu, it triggered the Lacrima. It hurt like a bitch and I was grumpy. When Erza challenged me, I watched as my body went on autopilot. The lacrima had a spell on it that my dad put. It was one that I had found when I took Lucy's advice to try and merge my magic. It raised its ugly head when I tried and it stabbed back.

I was drowning in pain when it cleared just a little. Just enough to sense Lucy in front of me. It helped a lot that she was making contact. I could feel her magic helping me out. I felt her guide me to the office and once we were alone, I felt the full effects of her magic. I could feel that damned spell try to fight back but she overpowered it. For now at least. Now I could think again.

I saw her smile, the one that made my dragon roll over and start purring, basking in the light her smile gave off. I smiled back and thanked her.

"Of course Laxus. You are kin." she said, "Now, I've got to go, I hear Natsu shouting about a mission."

I just nodded and she left.
