This Is How It Goes
They smiled at each other.
The one who wanted him.
The one who wanted him.
The one who wanted him.
They all had the same thing, yet the same thing was completely different for each of them.
This is how it goes.
She wanted him.
He wanted him.
He wanted him.
Her undying love for him was evident, but foolish.
His undying anger to revenge against him was evident, but it will be pointless in the end.
His undying passion to become him was evident, but he was blinded.
They all had the same thing, yet the same thing was completely different from each other. They all wanted him, but they know that to obtain him, they would have to sacrifice each other.
Sakura knew, that to get him, she would have to give up her life. Life so important that would be sacrificed for him, to get him, to love him.
Sakura knew…Sasuke meant impossible, yet she will do what she must for him.
Sasuke knew, that to get Itachi and revenge his clan, he would have to give up his friends. Friends so important that he would have to sink to become so shallow to betray them, hurt them, leave them.
Sasuke knew…Itachi was tearing his life apart, yet he will do what he must for pride.
Naruto knew, that to become hokage he will need to hurt others along the way. Others being his source of constant support that he would have to hurt them all, never trust them all as much, to let go of them all.
Naruto knew…Hokage is a destiny to ruin his current life, yet he will do it for others to see him differently and to respect him.
Like they knew, while smiling at each other, and being deep in thought, they would have the same idea in mind… wanting him.
The same idea, the same thing, the same phrase.
They finally understood why they were smiling.
Not because of happiness.
Not because of sorrow.
Not because of overwhelming joy.
Not because they had nothing to do.
It was because,
Because,
They knew what they would have to do eventually.
And so,
Why don't they have their last smile?
