[RWBY+A's dorm room about 5 weeks later]

{Weiss' perspective}

Well I finally got some sleep. Not that it helped in any way, I ended up with a nightmare last night.

In my dream Achilles was standing over a body with his blade bloodied. He then looked at me with those red eyes of his.

I don't know who's body that is, or why Achilles would ever take a life like that despite what happened on that train when he threw someone off.

Whatever I'll think about it later. I have some training to do.

As I got out of my nightgown letting it hit the floor I heard my scroll go off. Of course I checked it to see a blurred image of a Nevermore swooping down into the Emerald Forest, with a caption: Achilles is in danger.

No kidding! A nevermore of that size is bound to kill even a well trained huntsman! I need to get to him quickly!

Better contact the others too. They'll be of some help.

Ruby and Yang should be getting back by now.

[Earlier that day in the Emerald Forest]

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Y'know, in hindsight we really should have heeded Oz's warning not to venture any further into the forest.

But nooooo, my friend and fiance wanted a challenge. The last few days were decent, some Ursa, alpha beowolfs, mini deathstalkers. You know, the whole sha-bang, like horde mode in Grimm Eclipse.

However, now we have a Giant Nevermore chasing us.

And it looks pissed.

"AARON, IF THIS THING DOESN'T KILL US, I WILL KILL YOU, AND MOUNT YOUR HEAD ON A PIKE!" I yelled at Aaron.

"YOU CAN TRY! IT WASN'T EVEN MY IDEA TO BEGIN WITH, IT WAS YOUR FIANCE CAME UP WITH THE IDEA TO TRY TO KILL IT!" Aaron retorted. "HEY GUYS, LET'S GO DISTURB THE GIANT FUCKING BIRD! SOUNDS LIKE A TERRIFIC FUCKING IDEA!"

"JUST SHUT UP AND KEEP RUNNING!" Yelled Jocelyn.

We managed to find some cover, however the Nevermore grabbed a tree and threw it in our general direction.

"We have to keep moving! This thing wants blood!" I yelled as Aaron and Jocelyn nodded in agreement.

And ran the fuck out of there.

Eventually we all came to a wide open clearing. With the nevermore circling overhead, great, wonderful.

"Dude there's nowhere to hide here!" Aaron noted. Just at that point the Nevermore shot its feathers at our exit making trees fall in front of us.

Normally I am able to climb these trees but that requires a matter of minutes.

This Nevermore would never give me those minutes. Only one option left, stand our ground.

"We hold here!" I yelled unsheathing Porfyrós Drákos.

"Are you crazy! You just said we can't take it!" Aaron pointed out as he gestured to the Nevermore.

"Do you see anywhere else to run to?!" I asked him.

Aaron grunted and took out Judas Priest's blade form out of one arm and gun mode in the other as we all prepared for the worst.

The Nevermore swooped down as Aaron fired three pot shots into it's head.

It flew up and away after the second making the third shot miss.

Jocelyn fired one or two explosive bolts at the beast's head.

And once it swooped down I tried to slash through the underbelly of the beast only for my blade to glide off it's thick hide like my blade was nothing more than a metal stick.

It then grabbed me with its talon and threw me to a tree, the impact definitely shattered my aura.

I got myself up, feeling all sorts of pain I haven't felt in a long time since coming to Remnant, that hit must have done a number on me since the impact blurred my vision, I then looked around shouting their names.

I could barely hear my own voice, and no others tried to get through to me.

I saw feathers flying towards their last known location.

Fuck, I guess they're down.

I stumbled my way out into the open as the nevermore landed in front of me.

I held my blade out to the side of me, staring down the Nevermore as I shouted "Come on you big ugly-!"

That was then I heard a familiar sound, The sound of Ember Celica firing its rockets.

Two small explosions hit the beast in the head as two figures came out in front of me, one red and black, the other yellow and brown.

I chuckled and said "Just in time Ruby, Yang. Be a dear and take care of this fellow for me..."

Yang looked like she was saying something to me but I couldn't hear. Not to mention the world was turning black.

Probably due to blunt force trauma or something.

I waved my hand nonchalantly "Yeah, I'm fine… I'm going to take a nap. Knock yourselves out." I told them as my vision turned pitch black.

[Vale's Medical Center]

{Weiss' perspective}

"What was he thinking?!" I said to my team.

"Apparently he wasn't" Yang remarked "Oz warned them not to go to that part of the forest. And from the looks of things, he was rather beat up."

"It was reckless!" I said throwing my hands up in the air. "Look at him, he's now got cuts and bruises all over his body that have gone days untreated all because of your selfish desires to win the tournament!" I yelled to the others.

The rest of my team looked at me in shock.

"Weiss, it wasn't like that." Yang said breaking the silence. "We just wanted him to be safe. After all, we have no idea what his semblance is. His eyes change color when he gets angry. That is all we know for now. What if his semblance is like mine? Or what if it's dangerous?"

"I get that. But he's been working as hard, if not harder than all of us." I said looking back at Achilles. His torso was bandaged up for the wounds he sustained during his encounter with the Nevermore. "If anything, I think we should have heard him out

Ruby chimed in "I agree with Weiss, we didn't give him a fair chance when we made that decision."

I gestured to Ruby as I told Yang "See she agrees."

Yang gestured for me to settle down "Look, we're all very emotional right now. But if we're going to be of any help to him once he wakes up, we need to keep our heads on."

I looked back at Achilles once again and nodded.

Yang then asked us. "So wanna go grab a bite to eat, I'm sure Achilles won't want us to starve waiting for him to wake up."

"You guys go on ahead. I'll catch up in a bit." I told them. I can't just leave him again. What if he wakes up and no one is there?

"Alright Weiss. We'll see you at Rosebud's." Yang said as they left the room, leaving me alone with Achilles.

I approached his side with a sigh.

"Achilles, why do this? What are you trying to prove?" I asked only for silence to fill the room.

I then looked at his sword. I then picked it up and partially unsheathed it. The blade was dulled and beaten. Like he was bashing rocks with it or something. I should take it to get repaired before he wakes up. His guns also don't look too well, all dusty and have scratches all over them.

I hope that he won't mind if I take them to get repaired.

I then picked up his glasses, there were so many cracks in them that I don't know how he's able to see out of them.

...

I stared back at him once more. I can't shake this feeling I have off.

The memories I've seen of him. The way he acts, speaks, and the way he fights. It all seems rather foreign.

I tried looking up the tactic he used, the 'mordhau strike' I think he called it. I couldn't find one fighting manual that says to grip the blade and use the guard as a bludgeon.

So the fact he says it's 'from where he came from' seems rather suspicious to me.

I want him to answer me honestly and tell me the truth... But another part tells me he has his reasons for hiding it.

Before I could come to a decision, a familiar voice behind me said "How is he?" To which I turned quickly to meet.

"Oh hello General Ironwood!" I greeted him. "He seems to be stable."

Ironwood looked at him with great concern. "That's good to hear." He said with a small sigh escaping his lips.

"Why are you here anyway?" I asked.

"I have some questions for him. I was hoping he would be awake." Ironwood explained

"Why? What did he do?" I asked again.

"It's not what he did. Ok it is partially for what happened in the Emerald Forrest, but I have other questions for him." Ironwood answered.

"Like what?" I asked

"Classified." Ironwood said. "I will take my leave."

I looked back to Achilles. As if Ironwood sensed my thoughts, he then said "Don't worry, I will be checking on him as often as I can miss Schnee. Why don't you join your friends?"

Should I though? I am his friend after all so why shouldn't I stay to make sure he's alright? Besides I've got questions of my own.

"Don't worry Miss Schnee, he will be watched." Ironwood said putting his hand on my shoulder.

"If you're sure… his friend and fiance all took a heavy hit too." I noted

"I am aware of that Miss Schnee." Ironwood said as I walked out to go meet up with my team- no my friends at Rosebud's. I hope they saved me a spot and a plate.

[About a week later in the Vale Medical Facility]

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Ow my head. This feels familiar, like the time I woke up in Remnant, or that one Halloween party when I was 19.

I looked around for my glasses, and sure enough there they were next to Kronos and Rhea. Once I put them on I was able to see a little more clearly.

Well... as clear as possible due to the cracks. I think it's time for a new pair.

Looks like I'm still in Remnant judging by the architecture and the fact my hand is animated still.

I took a heavy sigh as I tried to sit up but was met with a sharp pain in my chest.

"Achilles you need rest." Said a commanding voice to my left.

I turned to meet the voice and noticed General Ironwood.

"Oh and good…" I glanced out the window. "I wanna say morning? Sir." I said as professionally as I could.

Ironwood then took a seat right next to me. "I need to ask you a few questions. Mostly pertaining to this image." He said as he pulled out his scroll and showed me a blurred image of the Nevermore swooping down into where I presumed that clearing was.

He then asked "Why did you decide to engage in a threat above your skills?"

I shrugged "Isn't it better to try to face higher-level enemies to get stronger?"

He shook his head "It's one thing to hunt grimm you're capable of fighting. It's another when it looks like a suicide attempt."

Ok now he's confusing me "How so?"

He silently got up and put one hand behind his back while grabbing my sheathed sword with the other.

He partially unsheathed it and asked me "So is there anything you can tell me where you're from?"

I raised a brow at him "I beg your pardon?"

He turned to me and explained "Oddly enough, 'town burnt to the ground and attacked by grimm' does not narrow down anything you told Ozpin."

"You went through my files?" I asked.

"They're shared between the academies on the year of the festival, to make sure that each matchup is fair." He explained.

Admittedly, I should have thought of that.

... I'm a dumbass.

"Is there a name? Maybe we can find it." Ironwood offered.

Looks like I'll have to use this name that I was saving for a later date. "Fortuna La Porte, I wanted to forget it and I didn't want to waste anyone's time sifting through burnt housing to confirm I lived there. But since you're probing the armor..."

The General nodded and set my sword down next to me. "One more thing Achilles, your school records suggest you don't have a semblance or an aura. Am I to assume you finally unlocked it?"

I shook my head "Just my aura sir."

"Just your aura?" Ironwood asked.

I nodded. "Yeah."

He put his hand on his chin and bereded me "So you mean to tell me you, your fiance, and your friend Moon all decided to attack a nevermore even though you don't have your semblance?"

"Yep, that about sums it up." I answered.

He stared at me in astonishment and told me "Forgive my astonishment but... Do you ever think of the actions of your consequences?"

I shrugged at him "Only if it affects me."

He raised an eyebrow out of concern. He then threw his hands out to the side out of exasperation. "I will take my leave then." He then walked out of the room I was staying in.

As soon as the door shut I breathed a sigh of relief.

There was a knock at the door and who do I see; my friend Aaron at the door with his arms crossed. "You're an idiot you know?" He deadpanned.

"Good morning to you too." I sarcastically replied.

"What were you thinking?!" Yang yelled as she pushed past Aaron

Weiss then strutted in the room "Had we not been there, you would have been dead!"

Then Blake and Ruby came in. It's almost like they were right behind him.

I rolled my eyes at her "I know, but thankfully you were. How long was I out for?"

"A week." Blake informed.

"That bird had me out for a week?!" I yelled. Then I mumbled "Hope it's fucking dead."

Weiss then wrapped her arms around me.

And judging by the way she hid her face I assume she's trying to hide her tears.

Yang and Aaron looked at each other giving a shit eating grin towards themselves. As if they're having a silent conversation.

"It was rather foolish for you three to face a giant nevermore." Blake said with her arms crossed.

"I get it guys, I'm an idiot for almost leading myself, Moon, and Rose to our deaths. But I am alive now aren't I?" I defended mostly to Blake.

"Still, you shouldn't have gone so deep into the Emerald Forest." Ruby said, crossing her arms as well. She doesn't realize she just looks adorable despite trying to look serious "If it wasn't a Nevermore, there are still plenty of grimm that can kill someone inexperienced like you and everyone else you brought with you."

"I just wanted to prove I can get into the tournament ok? I don't wanna be left out." I said soberly to Aaron's surprise.

I bet he thought I was going to throw them under the bus for them suggesting they do that. But I am better than that, for now at least.

He owes me a cheeseburger from that one time I took the hit after he messed up Cardin's armor and filled it with... I don't wanna say what it was. It made me gag.

Weiss picked her head up from my torso and stared at me in the eyes, her blue eyes red from the tears that she shed. "You're such a jerk you know that?"

I raised an eyebrow out of confusion. "Why? What did I do recently?"

Aaron gestured everyone out of the room, leaving myself and Weiss to talk things out.

Well, I better see what's going on. "Weiss, why are you crying over me? I'm not dead anyway."

Her face morphed from sadness to anger as she shouted "You could have been! And where would that have left us?!"

I shrugged "I'm inconsequential compared to the rest of you. You would mourn me then move on." I told her.

She then slapped me.

…Was that a bitch slap?

…Yeah that was.

…How can she slap?

"Stop saying things like that." She said with her fist balled "You think you're not worth anything? You think we don't care about you? We do, and every day it seems like the more you tell us, the less we understand you."

I tried to say something, however Weiss continued: "You seem to constantly tell yourself your problems don't matter as much as ours. You seem to always put us before yourself."

I shrugged at her. "If I can be honest-"

Weiss interrupted again "You helped me learn to relax when I should, you helped Yang and Ruby communicate with their dead mother. You went off to find Blake and tell her her worth as a friend when we couldn't find her. So why do you put up so many walls when we try to help you like you do us?"

I drifted my head towards the window.

I don't think I have an honest answer for this. Every day I try to do things by myself and I felt like I don't need it.

... I think my best answer is: "... I don't know."

I can tell she's not satisfied with that answer so I went on "Look, I grew up in an old-fashioned household. And at a young age I always put everyone else before myself."

She gave a soft sigh "You don't have to keep putting up walls. If you need help always ask us. It doesn't make us think any less of you."

I turned myself back to Weiss. Her arms were crossed as she leaned on one leg. She glared at me and told me "And if you think anything else for even a second, I will be here to remind you."

I gave a soft sigh as I told her "I wish it were that simple Weiss."

She then put a fist on her hip as she suggested "Maybe start considering help if there's anything difficult. And I don't mean physically."

I smiled and told her "I'll... take it under consideration."

She gave a smile to me "That's all I ask."

She then turned to the door and told me "I'll go tell your fiancé you're awake."

{Weiss' perspective}

Well I finally got that off my chest. I've had a feeling for about the last month ever since the Grimm invaded Vale.

Who wants to make a bet with me? Why would he do anything like that? Sure he may have won but the way he went about it was… intense.

Should I be this concerned for him? Of course he's my friend. Despite all of the teasing he's done to me.

"So how did it go?" This guy that Achilles told me much earlier was named Moon asked me with a grin.

I crossed my arms at him "Fine I suppose. I just wanted to let him know his team cares about him." I told him.

Yang gave me 'that' look "Are you sure that's all?" She asked.

I pointed at her "Yang, I don't know what you think you're implying, but zip it!" I deadpanned.

She shrugged it off "If you're sure" She said "I just think someone finally melted the Ice Queen."

I could hear Moon stifling his laughter behind me. "Oh hush both of you. I'm going to tell his fiance that he is awake." I said as I pushed my way through in order to get to Rose's room.

Fortunately she woke up a few days before Achilles did. As I opened the door I saw Rose was sitting up looking right at me.

"So you came." She said to me coldly.

I kept my hands in front as I talked to her "I just wanted to inform you that your fiance just woke up." I replied walking slowly up to her.

She looked back at me with a sideways glance "He is? Good. I need to kill him." She said trying to get up only to wince in pain.

I sighed and shook my head "You need to rest before you try to get up." I said as-a-matter-of-factly.

She looked at me angrily. "I need to see him though." Rose replied "I need to make sure he's ok before I strangle him back to sleep."

I managed to keep her down as I told her "He is fine, rest assured."

She was silent for a moment before nodding. "Just leave me be now."

I took that hint and left her room.

I have no idea why she's so cold to the rest of us.

Achilles did say she has trust issues due to how she grew up, but at the same time it's rather rude. Especially when someone is obviously trying to be nice to you.

Blake was leaning against the wall by the door waiting for me I suppose "So how did it go?" Blake asked.

I sighed and shrugged with one arm "She tried to get up. I told her she needs to rest." I replied.

She stood up with an understanding nod.

"Coffee?" I asked.

"Tea" She replied.

"We're coming too!" Ruby said.

"We can get Achilles his favorite drink while we're there." I said before we all left with Moon in tow.

[4 days later]

{Aaron/Moon's perspective}

Hello it's me again.

Now I would like to say that I have seen the way Weiss looks at Justin lately and I know for a fact she has a crush on him.

So I went to confront this to her before Justin got out of the hospital. Besides I still need to get him back for mordhau-ing me twice in the head.

"Hey Ice Queen, can I talk to you for a moment." I said pulling her aside. I told the others, "You guys go on ahead, We'll catch up later."

"Alright, see you later!" Ruby said with a wave before heading off to the hospital to pick Justin up.

"So what did you want to talk to me about Moon?" She asked me with her hands in front of her.

"I'm going to say it bluntly. I know you like Achilles." I said with a shrug.

That was met with Myrtenaster centimeters from stabbing me in the face and cracking a nearby wall.

"I don't know why I need to explain this to so many people. But let me be clear, I don't have a crush on him. Got it?" Weiss threatened.

Honestly I've had more terrifying experiences, mostly from what Neo gave me that night. 'First time' my ass, she was a goddamn natural sadist.

I'm getting off track. I used the folded in part of Judas Priest to casually push her blade away as I told her "Weiss, you're a goddamn book. You're not hiding anything from me. You fidget when you're near him. You are constantly worried about him, and I heard you yelling at him the other day while I was rehabilitating. If that wasn't a confession I don't know what is."

She grunted in annoyance "Even if any of that were remotely true. He is engaged, I don't want to do anything to a man about to be married." She said while sheathing her weapon.

"He is, but you probably can convince him to open up the relationship." I suggested with my palms open.

She looked at me confused "Aren't you supposed to be his friend? Why are you telling me to have him cheat on his fiance?"

"Let's just say… He needs to loosen up a little." I replied with both a sly smirk and a shrug.

She gave a defeated sigh "What is your plan anyway?"

Oh Justin isn't going to be happy but if I can fuck with him, all the better. "I'm so glad you asked. Here's what we'll do:-"

[A week later]

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Well I finally managed to get out of the hospital.

Though Ruby and Yang insisted on helping me out with everything. I've shrugged off physical trauma before. "Guys I'll be fine. There's no need to help me with everything. I ain't that old." I protested.

"No we insist." Yang argued.

"Besides, we have no idea what that Nevermore did to you. So we need to make sure you take it easy." Ruby said with her arms crossed.

"If this is about repaying that debt from the dance don't worry about it. All of you are like daughters to me. Tai probably would have done the same." I told them.

Ruby and Yang shook their head in unison. They really are sisters.

Yang leaned close with a finger up and explained. "We need you to rest as much as possible. Besides we don't want you to fight with potentially broken bones right?"

I sighed "Fine, if you insist." We soon approached our dorm. "Well I'll just rest up for a few. I'll join y'all in the cafeteria later, since y'all want me to rest."

"Take it easy." Ruby told me.

"See you then." Yang said with a smile.

I then walked in the room.

Now during my time here there have been a few instances when I've walked in while my team was doing something.

Blake reading one of her 'romance novels' was one of them.

Yang doing one handed push ups was another. Don't think I'll ever get the image of her in a sports bra and shorts out of my mind anytime soon.

Ruby eating cookies while reading comics was a third, I scolded her for not studying that day since there was a test at the end of that week.

So you can imagine my surprise to see Weiss with her hair down in white lingerie with garter belts and white stockings with her face as red as my jacket.

Under any other circumstance I would have gone a different type of crazy, if this was my fiacne. But since it's Weiss we're talking about, of course my immediate first reaction was to escape so that I didn't die a horrible death.

But for some reason the door won't open, even when I tried to pry it open like this one time when I tried to pull the sword from the stone at Disneyland.

It was then I noticed a note on the door that just read Have fun~ with a small portrait of Aaron with his tongue out and waving.

Oh that son of a bitch, next time if I see Neo I'll make sure she brings a strap-on before she kidnaps him.

"H-hey A-Achilles. Wha-what are y-you do-doing?" Weiss stuttered as I'm sure she's covering her non-existent chest to protect what little modesty she had left.

"That should be my question!" I replied not wanting to turn around. Mostly due to the fact she's underage for me. 18 or over, that's my rule. "Weiss, what has Moon filled your head with?"

"I-I don't know what you're t-talking a-about." She said "I-I just d-didn't expect y-you t-to be ba-back so soon."

Sounds like she's reading off a script or something. "Weiss, just put something on. I can tell you're uncomfortable." I deadpanned. "I don't need the authorities on me today, or any day for that matter."

I heard her sigh in relief as I heard the sliding of fabric on skin. "Ok you can look now." She said. I turned myself around slowly to talk to her. She was wearing her nightgown, good. Now then, time for questions.

"Ok, first things first Weiss, what the fuck?" I asked crossing my arms.

"I um…" She stammered "I figured you could use some cheering up. You seemed kind of down." Weiss replied.

"Weiss, you're way too young for me as it stands. You're a teenager, I'm an adult." I told her. "You cheering me up this way is about the same as a step daughter cheering their step father by wearing a slutty school uniform." Not that this is from experience mind you… I was in a deep rabbit hole back in middle school alright? I'm sure every guy has been through this stage in their life.

"So? The age of consent here is 18, I can wait a year." Weiss replied.

"That's not the issue, the issue is that a presumably 17 year old girl just tried to seduce a man about to be married." I retorted while I had my hands in a 'really?' gesture.

"I may be 17, but my birthday will be soon." Weiss replied.

"Not the fucking point." I deadpanned.

She didn't meet my eyes as she looked away. I can't help but sigh "Weiss, as much as I appreciate you trying, this is now what I need right now. Ok?"

She nodded with a smile. "Alright Achilles. I'm sorry if you were embarrassed or anything."

"If anything, I should be apologizing if you were." I said with a shrug.

Now then, there's a certain mute I need to find to make sure she wears a strap-on next time she's feeling horny.

"I'll be back in a bit, I need to go for a walk. I'll be back before dark." I said as I finally managed to unlock the door.

And it was as soon as I close the door I am immediately greeted with Aaron with his arms crossed.

"Are you fucking serious?" He deadpanned.

"You think I'd fuck a 17 year old?" I replied walking down the hallway. "Just what did you fill her head with?"

"The things you are into." He replied following close behind.

"That explains the outfit." I deadpanned "At least two out of five of the things I am into was in that room."

"Wait so what were the other three?" Aaron asked.

"1) bigger tits, 2) tan or black skin, 3) Thicc-er ." I answered.

This is just my preference, but I prefer other races to my own, mostly because there is only so much stupidity I can handle in a day.

As for the other stuff, on one hand child-bearing hips will help with pregnancy. And as far as I am aware, big tits can help with feeding a family.

Their personality is also important, like they should be willing to help me out through my darkest times and be kind to me, and Jocelyn is perfect for me. But like I said that's just my preference. "And besides, I like my women like I like my whisky, legal, dark, and not flat."

"You, my friend, have specific tastes." Aaron pointed out I thought I also heard him mumbling something about 'Stuffing her mosquito bite tits' or something.

"I know, now then I'm going for a walk if you wanna join me, unless Neo kidnapped you again." I said turning around to see that he disappeared. Damnit, how is she so sneaky? Whatever, I'm sure they're going to cuddle or something. I need to get some fresh air.

{Jocelyn/Rose's perspective}

Well I was on my way to Oz's office when I saw something that caught my eye. From the window of RWBY's room it looked like Weiss wasn't properly dressed. By that I mean she's wearing stuff my fiance is into.

So she's trying to take my man away from me...

I hope for his sake he's not planning on anything.

No time right now. Ozpin is waiting for me.

…Let's get this over with then.

I walked up to the CCT and pushed anyone in my way out of it. I then entered the elevator and went up to his office where he greeted me.

"Please come in Ms Rose." Ozpin said as the elevator door opened. "Have a seat. You and I have a lot to discuss."

Normally when I am asked to a principal's office it's either that I caused trouble or someone framed me for the trouble.

I don't know if I should feel worried here or indifferent.

Well... mostly indifferent.

"So how are you adjusting to Beacon?" He asked politely.

"Well it has been quite a journey with all that I've been through." I replied.

"I see. And how are you liking the uniforms?" He asked.

"They're comfortable." I replied crossing my arms.

He looked at me in a stern way as he poured more into his coffee "Glynda tells me you make 'adjustments' to your uniform that has even started to take hold in some of the other women in our school." Ozpin started as he poured his coffee into an empty cup.

"I just like to stand out." I replied.

"Individuality is important, however you are a representative of Beacon. Making alterations to your uniform reflects poorly on the school. Especially with the Vytal festival just around the corner. With all of the transfer students coming here I have to keep the uniform policy strict." Oz explained as he handed me a cup.

I took it reluctantly. "Look I know that, but the students of Vacuo have no uniform so I don't get what the big deal is." I said with a shrug.

"I understand a woman of your age has a tendency to feel like they need to stand above the crowd, and if it were any other circumstance I would have allowed it." Oz said leaning onto his desk "However I am hosting the Vytal festival this year, and I would appreciate it if you would take better care and represent the best of Beacon Academy."

I sighed after I took a sip "I understand Professor." I said flatly.

"Good. Now onto the other matter, your semblance. It has come to my attention that you recently unlocked it." Oz said leaning back.

"Yeah, what about it? I can give with one hand and take with another." I said with a shrug.

"With a semblance such as that, do you think it would be possible to take all of someone's aura? Have you tested it to its limits?" He asked.

I shrugged "I haven't tested it to its full extent. Why?"

"This may sound harsh but a semblance like yours can be deadly." He explained "With how you can take aura with one hand, you may accidentally take someone's aura away. And with you able to heal or amplify aura with the other it can make a person feel invincible and cause them to foolhardy charge into combat."

"Well I'll be more careful." I replied coldly.

He leaned back in his chair. Studying me. "Hm…" he said while taking a sip "Onto the third matter I wish to discuss, you are aware that the other students have had complaints against you, don't you?"

"Oh I hear a lot." I replied with a smile. "Like that one fairy tale about a hero who saved a woman in a tower."

Ozpin nodded "Ah yes, that one was one of my favorites." He replied turning around in his chair to stare out the window.

"They lived happily ever after… or at least, that is what should have been, after he got sick, she became something of darkness." I continued.

That got his attention. He spun back around with a look of amazement and confusion. "Interesting, not many know about that part of the story."

"Oh it gets more interesting." I explained "Let's just say that innocent girl, who lost the love of her life, would do anything to bring him back. It can be worth something to go on to defy the Gods."

Ozpin looked at me intrigued "I see, so how much of that fairy tale do you know about?"

"Let's say he continuously keeps going on to different lives for the love of his life." I explained "But when trying to save the woman that he loves, she kept shoving him out of her way in pursuit of domination."

"I think I've heard quite enough Rose." Ozpin said. "Let this be a warning. Next time I will not be so lenient."

"Thank you professor Ozpin." I said as I got up and finished the last of his coffee. Seriously though, he actually drinks something that fries taste buds? I cannot believe I drank any of that!

"One more thing Rose, if I hear of one more complaint; be it from a teacher or a student, I will have no choice but to suspend you." Ozpin warned.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked threateningly.

"I am sure Rose, as I am headmaster of Beacon academy." Ozpin replied.

"Sure." I said as I walked out of the elevator.

{Ozpin's perspective}

Once Rose left I sighed leaning back in my chair.

Well that was something. said one of the voices in my head.

"Indeed, she knows a lot more about this world than we may know." I said to the voices in my head.

This could be dangerous. After all, that was your life story she just spoke about, said another voice.

"Yes, but we don't know if she knows for sure that it is." I replied looking back out my window. "After all, fairy tales change from century to century. She may have heard a different version."

Perhaps you are right. Said a third voice

Can we go get some Grimm Helltaker? Said my drunkard voice

"Absolutely not. I will never touch that stuff again." I told that voice "Now go to the back and think about what you have done."

Again?! You were the one who- The drunkard protested.

"You know the rules." I told the voice

Fine! Fucking 'ell. The voice said before hearing a metal door slam.

Finally, that guy is a lazy bum.

I can fucking hear your thoughts asshole! Said the muffled drunkard voice.

I hate it when that guy hears my thoughts.

Then stop thinking out loud! He replied.

"You done conversing with your inner council?" Said the voice of Red.

I dropped my head with a sigh "You were there, weren't you?"

He came out from behind one of the pillars in my office "I did. And that Rose girl is quite a character."

I nodded "Indeed. What are your thoughts on her?"

Red looked back at the Elevator. "I just get the feeling she's not telling everything. I know women like that tend to hold a lot to themselves."

"Indeed. She seems to have something to hide. The only question:"

"Is what?" Red finished.

There was a silence between the both of us.

Both trying to come up with some sort of answer

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Oh look here she comes, almost right on time.

"Hey how did it go?" I asked.

"Let's just say it went really well." Jocelyn said as she continued to walk past me. I followed her wanting to keep the conversation up.

"Like how exactly?" I asked.

"Oh you know… my semblance, my appearance with my school uniform, blah blah blah…" She said not slowing down in the least.

"And how did you respond?" I asked once more.

"I told him a fairy tale, a story if you will, about the girl in the tower's true ending." She replied with a shrug.

"Rose I swear if you threatened him in any way-" I started.

"Oh I already did." She interrupted as she turned sharply to face me.

That threw me for a loop. "You threatened the headmaster of Beacon Academy?! Are you asking to get expelled?!"

"Relax he won't expel me…" She replied with a sigh. She then turned back around and started to walk away.

I kept up with her to the best of my abilities "Rose I think he has a point here, you need to keep yourself in check." I said trying to get her to stop.

She didn't even look back as she stated "He's hiding something and we both know what he is hiding."

I had to shush her, I can't let her bring a critical plot point from volume 6 here. "Not in public!" I whisper-yelled.

She turned around towards me with her hand to her lips "Oops, sorry, accident." She said with another shrug

"Who are you and what have you done with my fiance?" I asked.

Her expression hardened "Well this might explain it." She said as she pulled her engagement ring off. She then threw it square at my forehead to which it bounced off and hit the ground. "Looks like you're not engaged to me after all."

That moment I felt several emotions I haven't felt in years. Anger, confusion, worry, and most of all sadness just to name a few. "Rose this can't be how we end." I pleaded.

"Oh? But it already did with you and Weiss." She then walked away leaving me in the middle of a courtyard with thousands of onlookers, including Ruby and Yang. And her engagement ring on the ground. What did she mean by that?

Oh well, I picked it up and put it on the inside pocket of my jacket and walked away towards the airships to Vale.

"Achilles wait!" Ruby ordered.

"I need some time to myself." I spat. "Don't follow me."

[Many hours later in RWBY+A's room]

{Blake's perspective}

It's getting pretty late, Achilles isn't back yet. That cannot be a good sign.

"Maybe we should all go out looking for him." I suggested. "He's never out this late, and with all of the criminals running around it could be dangerous."

"Yeah, I agree." Yang said, crossing her arms. "Weiss?"

Weiss had stayed silent for a while. She looked rather depressed for some reason.

"Weiss are you ok?" I asked.

She took a deep breath and sighed. "I saw him earlier, his friend suggested I… cheer him up."

Yang and I looked at each other then at Ruby then back to Weiss. "Weiss, what happened?"

She turned away from us as she answered "I don't want to answer that."

Yang's eyes widened out of surprise. I'll admit, so did mine.

Yang asked "Weiss... you didn't-"

"NO!" Weiss yelled as her head turned sharply to Yang. "Not that far anyway..."

Yang, Ruby and I exchanged looks before returning to Weiss

"I don't think it was your fault Weiss." I assured her.

She stayed silent.

Ruby sat next to her and rubbed her shoulder "Weiss, you can't beat yourself up about it."

Weiss then replied "You two said Rose mentioned me when they were arguing. I guess she somehow saw me when I was trying to..." She hugged her knees.

Ruby wrapped her arms around her waist. "Don't worry Weiss, Achilles won't be mad at you. He never is."

Weiss mumbled "You don't know that."

Yang then suggested "We should look for him. It's not like he can go far."

[A park in Vale, 6:30 pm]

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

I took a deep breath of the fresh air as I sat down on a bench. Watching all of the kids play tag, makes me wish for kids most days with how adorable they are.

I then looked up at the sky to see the Atlesian airship hovering overhead.

If you had told me in my last year of 2020 would end for me being in Remnant, I would have kissed them on the lips. With how shitty that year was, this is definitely an improvement, other than my own fiance breaking up with me for power or something to do with Weiss.

I really am starting to think that having her on the enemy team was a bad idea.

Maybe I should have let Aaron spy on them a bit longer.

It was then I was joined by a certain mute ice cream girl.

"Hey Neo what's up?" I asked.

She tapped on her scroll a few times and typed something then showed me what it said.

Your friend Moon said hello. She had typed.

"Ah, well I hope you tell him that I said 'Hey there you son of a bitch'." I replied with a chuckle. "So why are you here?"

She typed on her scroll then showed it to me It's about your fiance.

"Ex" I corrected "What about her?"

She then typed I'm worried she might be trying replacing me. My boss has been using her more lately as I've been trying to find a way to break Roman out. But I'm worried that he'll might favor her over me. Given how ruthless she is.

"Neo, I don't think that will happen." I reassured Neo.

She stared blankly off into the distance before typing I don't know. It still seems like I'm getting replaced.

I shook my head "Neo, you have your place with your team. Don't let something like Rose stop you."

She tilted her head inquisitively at me.

"That's not the only thing you came to see me for is it?"

She made a mute sigh and typed I get the feeling he's not telling me everything about Roman's death that you told me. I want to know if there is any way of preventing it?

I sucked the air through my teeth. I don't really want to traumatize the poor girl. And at the same time I can't just say it's hopeless. Maybe another vague but somewhat helpful answer will do.

… I'm really turning myself into V am I? "There might be a way, if he turns himself in. And tell this to Moon when you see him. Ok?"

Neo looked at me disappointed as she typed Roman won't go quietly.

"Oh I know, unless someone knocks him out." I said crossing my arms. "Just give it to Moon as a suggestion. Oh and speaking of which, Next time you want to do it with him, make sure you wear a strap-on. He likes it up the brown shooter."

Neo looked at me both concerned and worried as she typed Are you sure?

"Positive." I said with a shit eating grin

She, at first, looked at me with concern. But soon after she smiled at me and typed Thank you. Now I must get going, the authorities will be here soon.

"What did you do?" I deadpanned.

She didn't respond, I poked at her and she shattered like glass. "Aaaaannnnd she's gone. Of course she is." I said standing up.

I should go to the docks. I always preferred sea air anyway.

Authors note

Well that took a very dark turn at the end there. My team really does care about me then. Other than that this chapter took a lot longer than I expected. But this chapter took a lot of thought into it. Thank you all for reading. As of right now we are at 25 followers, and I am personally proud of the fact that you guys like my story. So I will work on getting a P atreon soon. I figured out that Fanfiction censors certain words for some fucking reason so I will have to make sure to work around that.
