[Vale 6:45 pm]

{Yang's perspective}

"Achilles!" I yelled while driving around on Bumblebee with Blake.

Weiss and Ruby went different directions, Weiss told us that splitting up will be able to cover more ground but honestly I've been around this block at least three times and haven't spotted him.

There was a guy at the docks who had a red jacket but it didn't have the Guess branding on it. I still need to know where that's from. But that will be for later. The sun is going down and he's still missing.

"Check that alleyway." Blake said pointing to an alleyway that was right next to the restaurant that she hid herself behind. We checked every nook and cranny only to find nothing.

"He can't have just disappeared." I said as we walked out of the alleyway. We then spotted one of the chefs that we've seen working here. "Hey have you seen a 6'1 brown haired, four-eyed guy wearing a red Guess jacket?" I asked him.

"What's Guess? Is that a brand?" The chef asked taking a puff of his smoke.

"It is… one we never heard of before. But that's not the point. My point is have you seen him?" I answered.

"Hm… What does he look like?" The chef asked.

"Dirty blonde hair, a beard, and hazel eyes that may or may not change color to red." I described. I only remember his eye color from when we were staring each other down.

"Mm… No, I haven't seen him around. Might be at the park or something." The chef suggested.

"Thanks anyway." I replied before getting back on Bumblebee.

The chef stopped us before I started the engine. "This guy, is he important to either of you?" He asked.

"He's our teammate and our friend." Blake replied.

"I see. I'll let you know if I see him next time if you come back here." The chef said before tossing his smoke away. "Well my union allocated smoke break is now over. I will be seeing you later." The chef then disappeared into the door he was leaning next to.

I hope Ruby or Weiss are doing better than we are.

[Dust Shop, 7:00pm]

{Ruby's perspective}

"Hey there! I was wondering if you could help me find someone?" I asked the old shopkeep.

Old Shopkeeper nodded.

"Great, I'm looking for my teammate slash friend Achilles Vermilion. He's tall, has brown hair, and wears glasses, I was wondering if you've seen him?" I asked.

The shopkeep shook his head.

"Oh… Thanks anyway." I replied before heading out.

That was the third shop I was sure he'd be there. Well better keep searching, Weiss must be having better luck.

She seems to know Achilles well enough anyway, mostly because she has a crush on him.

I'm still not entirely sure why she does though, Achilles has been taunting her for almost an entire year.

And even then they didn't start off on the best terms.

…Whatever I'll ask later

[Somewhere in Vale 7:05 pm]

{Weiss' perspective}

"Yang I already checked there, someone said he was there earlier, but left a while later." I told Yang over our scrolls.

Well he has to be somewhere in Vale. He can't have just disappeared! Yang retorted.

"I do have one other place in mind that he might be. But I need the rest of you to continue your search in Vale just in case." I said as I exited the park.

Where are you going? Yang asked

"Back to school." I replied "I think he might be resting in a tree."

Why would he do that? Yang asked.

I shrugged as I answered her "Probably some sort of spiritual thing, I don't know."

Yang sighed We'll meet you there then. I'm currently en-route to the airships to Beacon.

"See you soon Yang." I told her before I hung up.

I've always found it strange with how many places I've found Achilles at, most of which were either in the dirt, or somewhere up high.

He claims it calms him like this one time I found him when I thought he was slacking.

[Flashback, Beacon Courtyard, Finals week]

I spotted Achilles taking a nap in a tree. He seemed rather content with being there. "Achilles what are you doing up there?" I asked "We have to study for finals!"

"Relax will ya Ice Queen?" He replied "I'm trying to enjoy the sounds of nature."

"What do you mean-" I was about to ask.

"Sit somewhere and close your eyes." He interrupted.

I sighed and sat at the base of the tree and closed my eyes "Now what?"

"Listen, do you hear it?" He asked.

"All of the people talking over each other?" I asked.

"No, the howl of the wind, the birds chirping, and the silence in between." He explained "Nature has its own harmony that is different from us humans. You just gotta learn how to listen for it."

After what seemed like an eternity, I finally heard what he was talking about. The gentle breeze creates a beautiful howl. The birds chirping off in the distance. This is rather peaceful. "I think I can hear it now." I noted.

Achilles then shushed me. "It's better not to talk." He simply said as we sat there listening to the sounds of nature.

Eventually he spoke up again. "Hey Weiss, have you ever heard the wolf cry under the blue corn moon? Or ask the grinning bobcat why he grinned?"

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. His eyes were still closed. "Didn't you-?" I said before he cut me off.

"Just answer my question." He said.

Out of confusion I answered "Um… no?"

"Mm…" He replied. He then hummed something under his breath that I'm pretty sure had the words "Paint with all the colors of the wind."

I got up and dusted off my skirt to look at him. He seems to be content up there. I guess I can leave him alone for a bit.

Before I left Achilles spoke up "Weiss, it's good to listen to nature once and a while. I do this to relieve my stress and anxieties."

"I see. Well thank you for helping me with my own." I said with a smile. Though I don't think he saw. He simply replied with "You're welcome."

[Flashforward, around the same area 7:45 pm]

Since then, I've been coming back out here to take deep breaths and listen to the sounds of nature to calm down. After checking the cliffs I confirmed he wasn't there so I looked back at that other place. It was then I noticed a familiar red coat in a tree. There he is!

"Achilles!" I yelled

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

"Mm…?" I looked down to see the heiress running up to me. "Oh hey there Weiss." I said while looking back up at the sky.

"Hey are you ok?" She asked with a concerned look on her face.

I sighed as I slid off my branch and landed in front of her. "If by 'ok' you mean mentaly, the answer is no. But thanks for asking." I answered as I dusted off my jacket. "So what's up?" I asked.

"We were all worried sick about you." Weiss replied.

"Hm? Y'all were?" I asked.

"YES, we were. You told me you would be back before dark. Now look at what time it is!" Weiss said gesturing to the time at the top of her phone.

I couldn't help but chuckle. "I'm sorry Weiss, I guess I lost track of time" I said with a shrug.

"Stop laughing!" She demanded waving her arms.

"Ok ok ok." I said calming down.

It was good to hear my teammates...

…No, my friends, care about me even if I haven't been exactly good with them.

I know I'm distancing myself from them, just outright tell them everything they need to know. So for now I have to be like Ozpin and keep it close to the chest.

"Hey I want to apologize again for earlier. Your friend Moon said-" Weiss started.

"-That might convince me to open up the relationship yada yada I know. He'll get his due later, perhaps in the form from his girlfriend." I said with my arms crossed.

"How do you know that?" Weiss asked.

"He's my best friend, I know a good majority of his antics. But I also get him back so that we're even." I answered with a shrug.

Weiss smiled and rolled her eyes. "Well, you two seem like you know each other well."

"Yeah we've been friends for a year and a half. He's one of my realest friends I've ever had." I explained.

We had met one year in GTA online while I was freelancing as a random in the heists game mode, more specifically the mission to break into Brolling Brooke, a prison, to get someone out. I was the demolition guy in charge of destroying an inbound bus.

Then using a military helicopter to protect the Velum, a plane in GTA, against a military jet. Since then me, and a few others became best friends.

But to explain it to Weiss: "We met in an online game and since we were around the same area we all met up and hit it off."

It was after that I heard other voices. Oh hey it's the others, Yang, Blake, and Ruby.

"Were you here this whole time?" Ruby asked.

"Yeah, I was sorry for making you worry" I said while ruffling Ruby's hair "I'm sorry for taking so long. I had a falling out with my fiance… well ex now… and I had no idea how to process this information. I just felt out of nowhere for me." I said somberly.

Blake was the first to put her hand on my shoulder. "Hey we're all here for you." She said with a smile.

Yang then hugged me from behind. "Yeah, we're all here for you dude."

Ruby wrapped her arms around my waist "Team RWBY is here for you!" She said with a smile.

Weiss then joined in "Always you four-eyed dork." She chimed in.

I couldn't help it as a smile rolled across my face "Thanks guys, really." I said looking up at the sky.

I'll admit this feels good, having those who I personally found as my heroes comforting me in my time of need.

…Maybe there is hope for me after all. I just hope that I can turn Jocelyn back to the side of light soon.

"We should head back to the dorm. It's almost lights out." Blake pointed out.

"Agreed Blake." I said with a nod as everyone else released their embrace on me.

"Come on lover boy, lets go get some shut-eye." Yang said, patting my shoulder.

"After all of you." I said gesturing to the general area of where our dorm rooms were.

[Villain's dorm room a day later]

"That was an unexpected spectacle you put on in the courtyard this afternoon." Cinder noted to Jocelyn aka Rose.

"He's been holding me back ever since we were together. I can't stand his habits." Rose replied.

"So are you almost ready?" Cinder asked

"Yes, but Port sent me, RWBY, JNPR, Achilles, and Moon with an atlas student on a mission." Rose explained with an annoyed expression on her face. "So we may need to delay it for a bit."

"Oh do not worry Rose, for that is all the time we need to transfer your records to Mistral. Professor Lionheart will be more than happy to 'give you another chance' so to speak." Cinder assured with her smile.

"Fine…" Rose deadpanned while rolling her eyes. "Besides that, I'm sick of picking up after CRDL anyway."

"Now don't you have a mission to prepare for?" Cinder asked

"You seem to forget that I told you, I am not your puppet. I do what I please, you are just a gateway. Something that I need in order to get what I want." Rose said

Cinder scowled at Rose for a moment before speaking once more "As you wish Rose." She said before Rose left the room

"I'm not scared of you unlike your puppets." Rose retorted before heading back to CRDL's room.

After she left the room, Emerald turned to Cinder and asked "Should I follow her?"

Cinder shook her head "I doubt she has any ulterior motives at this time. Otherwise she would have acted on them."

Emerald turned back towards the door and mumbled "I guess so..."

[Two days later in one of the empty dorm rooms]

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

"Aaron you ok dude?" I asked as I sharpened Porfyrós Drákos with a whet stone. "You look like you were just milked dry by farmer Johnson."

Aaron flopped down on an unoccupied mattress with a groan "I might as well of, with what Neo and I did last night..." He then picked his head up enough to glare at me and yell "By the way, FUCK. YOU!" he yelled with his middle finger extended.

I chuckled "At this rate, I think you wanna." I replied with a smirk.

He then shoved a finger my way "You know damn well what I mean! Fucking giving her the idea of putting a strap-on in my ass!"

"Yeah well, consider it payback for giving Weiss the idea of being half-naked in front of me." I said as I inspected my blade.

Sharp enough to slice through grimm, just the way I like it.

Aaron then groaned and flopped back down "I'm exhausted, I don't think I can go anywhere today." Aaron complained.

I then reminded him "Aaron, remember what Port told us a couple of days ago?"

He then picked his head up and gave me a confused look.

[Three days ago]

With RWBY, JNPR, Rose, Moon and I all gathered in Port's classroom. I had hoped it wasn't about homework, for I did none of it. Thankfully it wasn't that.

"Students recently after Achilles, Moon, and Rose's adventure into the emerald forest, it seems like the grimm are more agitated, we need boots on the ground to investigate the area. We have a few signal transponders inside the forest that you need to look into. It seems as though we lost contact with them." Port explained.

"So a reconnaissance mission?" I asked as I put my feet up.

Weiss did not like that and tried to bat my thighs back down.

"Precisely Mr Vermillion." Port said with a grin? It's hard to tell with that mustache. I'm ok with my barely grown beard thank you. "So we will take you all out in three days. We will provide a bullhead for transportation into the Emerald Forest, nearby two of these transponders. Oh and I have Ozpin's permission to put you all on a mission."

"Good to know…" I mumbled to which I was met with Weiss' back hand slapping against my arm.

"You are all dismissed. Make sure your weapons are loaded and your mind sharp." Port said while waving to us as we exited his classroom.

[Present]

"Fuck" Aaron groaned. "I forgot about that…"

"We'll get you some coffee before we head out." I offered.

"Thanks but didn't he say we would be leaving in the morning? I presume around 8?" Aaron asked.

I looked at my scroll's clock and noticed Weiss texted me. "Shit… Let's go!"

"Wait shouldn't you bring a bigger weapon than a sword and pistols?" Aaron asked as we ran down the corridor.

"No time to get Executioner! I'll make do!" I replied in a panic.

Weiss really doesn't like being held up. And knowing her she will probably freeze me in my sleep.

"Get what now?!" Aaron asked.

"Executioner, an MG-32/battle ax that can turn into war scythe mode when needed." I explained quickly.

"Why would you name it that?" Aaron asked.

"I don't have time to explain what I don't have time to explain." I retorted "Just shut up and run! I don't wanna get lectured by Weiss for the trillionth time."

"Oh ok" Aaron said.

And I know he said that with that damn smirk across his face.

"Aaron no!" I protested "Get those thoughts out of your head!"

"Aaron yes!" Aaron retorted.

"I swear to whatever god brought us here…" I sighed with agitation.

[Landing pad]

"Took you both long enough, even Rose got here before you two idiots." Weiss deadpanned while having her arms crossed.

"Yeah yeah mosquito bite tits, we were busy packing ok?" Aaron panted as he dragged himself to the bullhead.

"Sorry Weiss, I tried to hurry." I apologized.

"Let's just go." Weiss grunted as we all entered the bullhead.

It was then Aaron and I noticed a familiar person.

Standing about the height of 6'3, with silver hair and sharply dressed with a white coat hanging off his shoulders, and a red shirt underneath with white pants was our friend Keoth (Pronounced KEY-oth).

Attached to his back was what appeared to be an M1 Garand with a hammer head at the butt of the weapon. He was in the middle of talking to Ironwood about something when he noticed me and Aaron.

It looked like he had to excuse himself.

He then rushed over to us.

"Hey Ju-" I quickly covered his mouth and looked behind me to make sure my team wasn't in earshot.

They weren't, they were talking amongst themselves and JNPR.

Thank fuck I don't have to do an asspull on this. "Keoth, refer to me as Achilles when we're in front of the main cast. And Aaron is Moon got it?" I whispered as I uncovered his mouth.

"Ok ok, yeesh." He replied while dusting himself off. "Anyway, where have you two been?"

"I was a bad guy." Aaron quickly explained.

"I'm in team RWBY." I quickly explained "oh and I won the bet Moon."

"Yeah yeah, here!" Aaron said shoving 150 lien into my hands. Now I can pay back Weiss.

Aaron then asked "Why did you bet 150 on Atlas anyway."

I quickly put the money into my wallet and shoved it into the inside pocket of my jacket.

"You owe Weiss money don't you?" Aaron asked.

"Look I needed information and I figured Sun would give it easier with Blake." I deadpanned.

"And you borrowed 150 lien from Weiss…" Keoth judged.

"It was a good plan at the time!" I defended.

"Sure, let's just go. We gotta investigate the Emerald Forest. Something about Transponders not responding or some shit" Aaron said as he pointed to the bullhead behind us.

"Hey does this whole... mission statement sound familiar to anyone else?" I asked them as we walked to the bullhead.

"A little, but I can't really remember much other than the plane crash." Keoth said with a shrug.

"Maybe our memory will be jogged after doing this mission." I sighed as we all got into the bullhead.

I will admit, it was a tight fit. I myself was situated next to Jocelyn.

"Hey how's it going?" I asked her.

She didn't respond.

Instead she glared at me and then looked away from me.

I should have figured.

I said nothing for the rest of the trip as the others talked strategies.

Eventually after what felt like a couple hours I heard the pilot tell us that our landing area was ahead. Though we were a lot higher up than I would like.

"How the hell are we supposed to get down?" I asked.

"Like this!" Yang said behind me.

She then pushed me off the bullhead as the rest dived off. I will admit, I didn't have a landing strategy at that point because my mind was busy processing two things.

One was 'Yang just pushed me' the other was 'Oh shit the ground is coming faster than I thought.' I soon found myself with my head in the ground like an ostrich

"Good landing Achilles." I heard Aaron say.

"Shut it Moon." I retorted as I pulled my head out of the ground.

I then took a cloth out of my jacket and cleaned my glasses before putting them back on.

Once I was sure they were crystal clear, I got up and dusted myself off. "Thanks for the warning Yang." I deadpanned.

"You're welcome," Yang said with a shrug.

"Come on guys, We need to go investigate the grimm activity." Ruby said wisely.

"Yeah, we need to see what's going on here." Jaune continued.

All of us followed Jaune and Ruby as we encountered some enemies. Creeps, Beowolfs and Borbatusks. You know, the usual low level Grimm.

However, I couldn't shake the feeling of deja vu I've been feeling ever since coming to this part of the Emerald Forest.

That soon changed when we soon found ourselves in a cave with a transponder after Jaune went Relic hunting.

Once I got close enough, I noticed the symbol on the transponder. An M with some hexagons around it. I turned to Aaron and mouthed the words 'Grimm Eclipse.'

He mouthed back 'Hell Yeah'.

I then cleared my throat. "This symbol… it looks familiar…" I mused.

"Do you know what this means Achilles?" Yang asked.

"Not sure" I replied "I think I saw this at one point on the news when I was younger."

"There's still the other one, and Port said he'll look into it later." Ruby said as she pushed on back out the entrance of the cave.

"Ruby's right, now is not the time to speculate." Jaune said as he sheathed his sword. "We'll worry about the symbol later."

"Sure." Jocelyn said pushing passed everyone.

RWBY looked at me uneasy.

"I'll be fine. I'll talk to her after the mission." I said scratching the back of my neck.

"If you're sure…" Blake said with a sad expression on her face.

[Later on]

So I can officially cross being like Dante off my to do list.

We fought through waves of grimm that seemed to never end and even got to a part of the forest where Yang shouted into a valley to have it echo.

I will admit, I did it too. I just couldn't resist damnit.

We then came to a drawbridge in which there was a comically big cog to the side.

The good news is that we could see the transponder!

The bad news was we needed to activate the drawbridge.

My team elected me to do it for some reason, and everyone else agreed, including my friends and ex fiance. And so I did.

"Ah good it seems to be working. And also seemed to attract some grimm. Happy hunting!" Port said over our intercoms.

"Port you son of a-" I protested before we got surrounded by beowolfs and creeps.

I grunted and unsheathed my sword "Guess we're doing this." I deadpanned.

I can't say what the others did because I wasn't paying much attention because my first instinct was to stab the giant bipedal wolf with a skull mask in front of me.

And that was apparently what I did?

I don't remember much of it. I can't quite explain it but it felt like someone was controlling my actions. Probably the person playing me.

Idk why I'm here because it's a four player game. But hey, maybe it's slightly better? I doubt it but at the same time it was extremely discombobulating to have no memory of my awesomeness.

Ruby said that I wiped out a good portion of them with my fire slash attack, which I will have to name later I suppose.

Anyway that's not important. What is important was after that battle we finally managed to get to the transponder.

This one had the same symbol as the first one, Merlot Industries. Which confirms my suspicion further that we are, in fact, in the game Grimm Eclipse.

And the grimm appeared. "Grimm on our 6,7,8, they- they're all around." I said defeatedly.

"Dumbass." Aaron said.

"Hey! There are children here!" I retorted.

"Focus guys!" Ruby said cocking Crescent Rose.

"You're right, let's do this!" I said unsheathing my sword once more.

I slashed at every grimm I came across. Fired a couple shots and even managed a charged shot apparently.

I guess after firing three times consecutively, I just hold my guns executioner style and fire them at the same time with explosive results.

Hell I don't think I had to reload once throughout this whole fight.

I jumped on top of a beowolf and slashed its head off, and as it was disintegrating I jumped to the next grimm and did my bullet storm thing and that took care of the alpha creep that I was above.

After hacking my way through more grimm I was then joined with Blake to perform a team attack with her. What I like to call Black Dragon, basically Bumblebee but with extra slashes.

So she throws her weapon at me, holding onto the ribbon of course, and throttles me at a Grimm.

I then get ready to stab the grim as I approach. This works on a lot of grimm we faced, This one was tough though since it was an alpha beowolf.

So I pulled Blake towards me with my end of Gambol Shroud.

She then used an earth dust cartridge and detonated it as I got away.

We then slashed at the grimm at the same time ending with me chopping its head off.

I will admit, I feel very powerful right now.

"Ooohh yeah…" I sighed happily "I'm touching myself later tonight."

"DUDE." Aaron said.

"TMI" Keoth said.

RWBY looked at each other concerned.

"It's a joke!" I defended.

"Students, we're halfway there!" Port said over the intercoms "Focus on defending the transponder."

I sighed annoyed. "Of course it's only half way, didn't take this long in the game." I mumbled.

"Dude focus!" Aaron yelled.

"Yeah yeah keep your shirt on." I deadpanned.

I then flipped my blade to stab the beowolf behind me.

I flipped it back to the normal way, turned towards it, and slashed it in half in one simple yet elegant move.

I couldn't help but smirk.

Soon enough after what felt like an eternity of fighting, Port finally chimed in as I dragged my blade out of the last grimm.

"Hmm… This symbol seems to be from Merlot Industries." Port mused.

"I knew it." I stage whispered to myself.

"What is it Achilles?" Weiss asked.

"Merlot industries, I remember hearing about it on the news, Wasn't he trying to control the creatures of grimm?" I said inquisitively.

Aaron crossed his arms at me. He knows when I'm bullshitting.

"Well I'm not one for riddles. I'm more of a man of action if I do say so myself. But I think we can get someone here to help you out." Port said in his haughty tone. "For now make camp somewhere."

"There is a cave over there, we can hunker down there until tomorrow." Jaune pointed out.

"I'm with Jaune on this one. Two of us will take point in watching" I chimed in "We'll need food for dinner."

"And logs for a fire." Aaron added.

RWBY nodded "We'll collect the wood" Ruby said

"We'll go find food, there might be a supply drop nearby" Jaune said "Pyrrha and I can go."

I narrowed my eyes at Jaune. "...Right, Ren, Nora, please go with them. I don't trust them not to do any hanky panky" I deadpanned towards the people in question.

Jaune looked disappointed and Pyrrha, I don't think I've ever seen her face in that shade of red before.

It's honestly adorable.

Ren nodded and Nora… I don't think she was paying attention. I don't entirely know, she is a wild card as for the first three volumes.

[Evening]

Well they all managed to get enough wood necessary to start a fire. I lit it with the dust that was within my jacket so there really was no reason to bring a lighter.

Anyway JNPR found the supply drop and it thankfully had enough for everyone. The rest were chatting about random stuff.

"Mr Torchwick, Shoves his cane up his ass every niiiggggghhhht." Aaron sang quietly, however Blake noticed.

"Wait, YOU were black hood?!" She bellowed.

"Wha-?" Yang asked looking over at Aaron.

"I thought the swords were a dead give away." Aaron deadpanned as Judas Priest's blade popped out of his jacket. "Yeah I was, but in my defense, I was clocked over the head with that bastards cane." Aaron explained defensively.

"So wait, you were the guy causing us all of our problems?" Weiss asked.

"Not just you, I also caused problems for the bad guys as well." Aaron said.

"So you have some inside knowledge on who's working against us?" Blake asked.

"Yes… and no…" Aaron said "I can't remember much because of a certain ASSHOLE" He said looking directly at me.

I shrugged at him as I continued to eat my dinner.

He then continued. "Who clocked me twice over the head with his sword."

"Hey, at least I managed to reset your brain before I killed you by mistake." I defended.

"Yeah yeah, excuses excuses." Aaron waved off my argument. He then turned back towards the group and asked "Hey wanna hear about how I tolled the bad guys?"

"What do you mean by 'trolled'?" Ruby asked.

"Basically, I pulled pranks on the enemy team. Let's see I stole a grey guy's legs" Aaron started "Dated someone, was pantsless at one point for some reason, and… Oh yeah, put little plastic bricks in Roman's shoes and lubed his cane."

"Oh I have to hear this." Yang said excitedly

And so Aaron was telling stories about what he remembered from his time as Black Hood aka Ferret King.

Apparently one time he kept hiding stuff from various members of team CRME. Including Emerald's guns, Roman's hat, and various other stuff.

He also apparently placed an EMP on the generator to the warehouse.

And ended with the time he made Roman's cane slippery. He even found a slide whistle and blew into it every time it slipped out of his grasp.

"-So every time his cane slipped out of his grasp" he then made a slide whistle noise. Ruby started laughing hysterically.

Followed by the rest of my team and Jaune chuckling nervously.

Aaron then continued "It was hilarious to watch, I even got it on video." He then showed it to the group.

To which everyone started laughing once again.

"I can't believe you were just as much of a nuisance to them as you were to us." Weiss noted.

"Yeah well you learn something new every day Ice Queen." Aaron replied leaning back.

"Why does everyone keep calling me that?" Weiss asked.

"Because you're a cold ass bitch. Hell you rejected Jaune so many times that-" Aaron said before I cut in.

"Hey um Moon, Jaune and Pyrrha are now together." I said abruptly.

Aaron then looked at Jaune and Pyrrha, who were holding hands and being adorable.

"Huh… so they are." He then looked at me with a confused look that said 'How?'

I simply shrugged with an expression that said 'they did most of the work, I just guided them'.

The rest of the evening, they were all chatting while I mostly just kept quiet, I don't want to ruin this moment.

Mostly because after this I'm sure volume 3 will be starting.

And that is when shit hits the fan… I honestly don't know what to do for volume 3.

I might be fighting Jocelyn, and that is one of the last things I want.

But at the same time it might be a chance to help her find her light again… I stole a glance over at her to see she wasn't even looking in my direction.

That confirms my other suspicion. I'll talk to her while we're in Mountain Glenn tomorrow and hope I can find something to help her like I did back then.

"Hey are you ok dude?" Aaron asked.

"You're very quiet. More than usual." Blake added.

"Funny coming from you." I retorted "I'm as good as I can be."

"Hey it's getting late, we should probably get some shut-eye. Who wants to be the first watch?" Jaune said as he stood up.

"Yo," I answered raising my hand.

"Aye" Aaron said.

"Alright, the rest of us will get our sleeping bags then." Jaune said as he gestured to the rolled up sleeping bags off to the side from where we were eating.

"I'll help, I need to put mine between Pyrrha and Jaune anyway." I said grabbing a dark red sleeping bag.

"Why?" Jaune asked.

"Because I was a teenager once, I know what you will attempt." I deadpanned while pointing at him accusatorily "Now go on, put yours down."

Jaune groaned "You're not even my dad."

"I know Jauney-boy. But I still don't want to hear any moans while I sleep." I said sassily.

"You seem much… different. Is everything alright Achilles?" Pyrrha asked.

"Everything is fine. I might tell you later. For now though." I replied as I set my sleeping bag next to Jaune's "Go get some sleep." I then grabbed my weapons, attached them to my belt and went to the entrance.

Authors note

I will say that this chapter was pretty decent, not to toot my own horn. I figured including Grimm Eclipse would be an interesting thing. Though I will say this: It's hard to write things off of video games, especially when said game is, in total, about 2 hours long. Not to mention the breaks in between just so that I didn't end up with writer's block, which has started to affect me lately. I promise I'll try to keep my weekly schedule, but if it doesn't work out, I hope you guys can forgive me for the delays in between. And as always thank you for reading.
