A/N Hey all, it's been a while. I finally remembered my password for .

Anywho, so it seems I'm getting a lot of new followers so hello to all of you :)

And an apology for not having any consistency in my uploads. Lots of things happened that demotivated me into writing. Well that and a few mental health issues as well as writers block. So without further ado enjoy this chapter.

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Well they don't have a cabinet per se, but a cellar. And from the looks of it, she hasn't completely cleaned all of the liquor, the problem is they have nothing but wines that would have cost me my entire paycheck back on Earth.

In order: I have spotted chardonnays, half empty roses (pronounced rose-EY), red and white wines, and something similar to vodka, although it's not called that since there is no Remnant version of Russia as far as I'm aware. The only thing close to my tastes that I found was a bourbon called High Noon Whisky with a picture of a cowboy on the front of the bottle. Kinda reminds me of Overwatch somehow.

Let's see… Is there anything else?

...

Fuck it, High Noon it is then… Let's see if there's any soda.

"Looking for something?" Said a womanly voice behind me which made me jump and almost drop the bottle I had in my hand as I turned to see the origin of the voice.

And sure enough, it's Willow Schnee leaning on the entrance with a glass of red wine in hand.

"Just a drink." I told her as I tried to get past her.

She took a sip of her wine before saying "I notice the way you act around Weiss."

I groaned "Can we not have this conversation right now? I just got done dealing with Jacques earlier today, I don't need you to add to it. Now if you'll excuse me."

She shook her head at me. "No need to go to the kitchen, there's glasses down here."

I looked around in confusion. I searched every corner of this place and found no such thing.

She seemed to notice and walked over to a spot I had already been and pressed a button. Which made some clicking and whirring sounds which eventually opened up a case with wine glasses and regular ones for bourbons.

"Thank you?"

She smiled at me as she took a seat in the middle of the room. So I poured myself a cup and put it back where I found it.

"I was planning on only having one drink." I told her as I joined her at the table.

She scoffed at me "Just one? Are you sure?"

"Yes. Because unlike you, I don't drown my demons in gin."

She looked taken aback by my words.

I then realized my mistake. "I apologize, it's… been difficult." I told her as I raised my new robotic appendage to inspect.

"You put it on…" She noted.

"Yeah yeah. Weiss said the first step in healing is acceptance… and I need to accept my defeat at Beacon." I then clenched it.

"If I may ask, Achilles was it?" She asked.

I nodded.

"What prevented you from using it before?"

I shrugged "I guess I was afraid of what people would think. Either they think I got better or they would think something else. And… Jacques. And I am tired of repeating myself. This is the third time I've been asked that question in the last few hours."

She nodded as she took another sip.

Meanwhile I had finished mine. So I set it down. "Anyway, I'm going to go get some fresh air before bed. See you around Willow."

And like that I exited the cellar. Leaving Willow by herself. I figured she would get drunk and probably attempt something. And considering Jacques is trying to groom me to marry Weiss, suffice to say that ain't happening.

And as soon as I made it up those stairs and a little ways down the hall I started feeling a little woozy. A few steps later I leaned against a wall to stabilize myself as I held my head.

One drink shouldn't have done that to me. So why am I feeling so light headed?

It was then I remembered though my mental age is 21, my physical body is 18 most likely, which means I haven't been introduced to alcohol yet. Which also means that one shot might have made me legally intoxicated.

Oh great, my vision is getting blurry now. The hangover will be great to deal with in the morning…

{Weiss' perspective}

Where did he go? I told him to wait outside.

I know he prefers fresh air so I checked out in the courtyard first. So when I didn't find him there I started to worry.

Surely he wouldn't go to our celler to get a drink right?

I found him leaning against a wall clutching his head.

"Achilles are you ok?" I asked as I rushed to him.

He shot his head up with the biggest smile I've ever seen on his face. "Oooooh Yeeaaahh… I'mmmmmm Greeeeeaaaaat." he said as he wobbled.

"Ok no you're not, you're drunk."

He laughed and stumbled as he waved his hand dismissively "Nah nah nah officer I ain't dunk… I oly ad one drink…"

"Yeah, and apparently that is enough to make you drunk." I then put his right arm around my shoulders. "Come here you drunkard."

"I'm nt a dunkad!" He protested.

"Come on, let's get you to bed and get some water."

Walking him down the hall was difficult due to our height differences. And the fact he can't make a straight line tells me all I need to know of what he may have drunk. His breath definitely doesn't help his case. A bourbon of some kind like my mom drank on Saturdays before she switched to white wine.

"What do we have here?" Said Whitley as we walked down the corridor.

"Can you leave us be? He needs rest."

"Hm…" He studied Achilles' current condition and concluded "Ah so he's drunk like mother is."

Achilles mumbled something incoherently.

"It's none of your business Whitley." I told him.

He then strode up to him "Of course it is, there is a middle class man that is drunk in my house."

Achilles got out of my grip and stumbled forward "Now list ere Whiiittteeeyyy."

"It's Whitely."

"I kow hat I squid." Achilles snapped back in his drunken stupor.

Whitley crossed his arms. "And what is it I need to listen to from a poor man with nothing more than his name?"

Achilles placed a hand on his shoulder and said "I knoooowwww www-why you cacting tha whey ya mare."

Whitley knocked his hand off and asked "Come again? I can't hear you over all of your slurring."

"It'sssssss because yu n't get any attent. Rom ur ather, moth, or sists. And kthrt whay u ate the sooooo uch."

He then stumbled past Whitley and kept going towards my room "But I in't sober enou to be a guiance couser."

"You just said you weren't drunk." Whitley pointed out.

Achilles then stuck up his middle finger at Whitley and stumbled into my room where his stuff is. Presumably to get it and try to go back to the guest room. Though I'm not sure what that gesture ment.

I turned to Whitley with a glare "Stay out of this."

Whitley shrugged, "I intend to tell father about this."

After that, I ran into my room to make sure he didn't hit his head on anything. And sure enough, he was trying to grab his case. However he knocked over a few pots in the process with his prosthetic.

I ran up to him and grabbed his shoulder "Achilles. Achilles! Settle down. You need rest."

"Guhno I dn't. Nt n hre." He said. "I dn't wnn tuh do smthng ll rgrt."

I guided him to my bed as I assured him "If you're worried I'll sleep on the chair tonight."

"Nooo…" He replied. One of the first clear words he spoke.

"Yes, I don't mind." I told him as I put his head on a pillow.

Achilles groaned as he put his right arm over his forehead.

I went to put my covers over him when out of nowhere he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me to him. "Achilles?"

He mumbled something.

"I'm sorry. I can't hear you."

He took a moment before he tried again "My nightmares. Too much to handle." He said slowly.

He has nightmares? Why hasn't he told me? "Achilles, let me go please."

He let go. I moved myself next to him. "What is your nightmare?"

He then told me the two apparently recurring nightmares he has. One of Adam, and the other about this 'beast inside him'. Which I remember meeting a while back. It's been a while since I've tried that, and I'm not anxious to try again after what happened that night.

I started to think of ways to help him. "Well… that first one seems to be a common occurance with those suffering PTSD. Maybe that's why you took so long to put your prosthetic on. You don't want to go back and deal with him."

He nodded.

"And that second… He sounds like a jerk."

"That he is…" He groaned, seeming like he's sobering up.

"Do you need any water?"

He shook his head "I'll only throw it up. And I hate throwing up."

Learning new things about him every day it seems. "There's something I noticed back when we were at Beacon."

"What?"

I leaned closer to him. "You seem closed hearted."

He looked at me confused. "I literally told you all of my fond memories."

"That may be true." I told him. "But it feels like you also want to distance yourself from us. Like you know something about us, or you're afraid to get close."

He looked away from me and mumbled something.

And before I could ask what he said, he turned back to me and repeated what he mumbled "Don't worry about it. It's… personal."

I placed my hand in his prosthetic one. "You can tell me. Is it my father? Is it some personal code?"

He yanked his robotic hand free of my grasp and said "Look Weiss, you're beautiful, strong, and even more so up close. Any guy would be lucky to have you as theirs... But I can't see myself with you."

That… kind of hurts.

"Because:" he continued "I see you as a daughter I've always wanted… same with Yang, Blake, and Ruby. Sure at one point I would have been attracted to you or one of the others. In a different timeline, or a different point in time. However, I cannot abandon my fiance."

"Even after everything that happened? She stabbed you!" I pointed out.

"Weiss don't shout, I have a headache." He said as he clutched his ears.

"Still, she stabbed you. Had it not been for Jaune-."

"I would have been dead, I know."

I crossed my arms at him.

"Oh don't go all pouty on me." he groaned.

I looked out onto the shattered moon with my thoughts. He did go off by himself before our match with his friend Keoth and Flynt. Could it be… no I'm overthinking probably…

But those memories I saw of him… I can't just ignore them either. Even seeing myself on that phone device he had in those memories. Our world… Could it be he's not from Remnant…

… I can't risk it…

"And besides both of those points…" He continued "You only started becoming attracted to me after learning my last name. And that is no base for a relationship. I've seen it hurt too many of my friends and classmates."

Looking back at what I've done, I do remember feeling different after learning he was one of those Vermilions… But I thought I was genuinely attracted to him. But what he said here… it's true. I can't just be attracted to his name. It's too storybook.

Glancing back at him he seemed to have gone to sleep.

"Achilles?"

He groaned at me.

If I'll be honest. The way he looks while he sleeps… he seems peaceful. I pulled the covers over his shoulders and told him "Good night. Sweet dreams. You deserve it after all you've done for us."

And with that, I grabbed an extra blanket from the end of my bed and sat on a chair nearby. I'm hoping that he doesn't remember what happened tonight.

{Justin/Achilles' perspective}

Ugh… my head… Where's the tylenol when you need it. My head hasn't pounded this badly since my experiments with my drink Sunset over the Caribbean.

Sitting up in bed I noticed at least three things. One was I'm in Weiss' room. Two: I was in her bed. And three: She was sleeping in a chair nearby. So at least drunk me couldn't do much damage there.

On the other hand, or arm, my prosthetic makes it rather uncomfortable to sleep. Noted.

Oh it looks like I accidently woke Weiss up.

"Good morning Achilles…" She said with sleep deprivation in her tone. "How are you feeling?"

"Got anything for headaches because I have one hell of a hangover." I told her as I rubbed my temple. Seriously, how much alcohol was in that?

She gave me a nod and went to her personal bathroom. Good to know she has one. A moment later she came back and handed a pill bottle to me.

"Do you remember anything from last night?"

After swallowing the pill and water I answered "No I don't, last thing I remember was the feeling of dizziness and then… black. Which just begs the question: What the hell is in High Noon Whisky?"

After a brief moment of shocked silence she asked "THAT'S what you decided to drink?!"

"Yeah? You make it sound like a bad thing. "

"That has more alcohol in it than anything else we have! How did you find it?!"

I covered my ears with how much noise she's making. "Weiss please stop shouting, it's doing my head in."

She covered her mouth with a small "Sorry" Slipping out.

"Besides, it has nothing to do with how much is in a drink. There needs to be food in my stomach too. And unfortunately it seems I forgot dinner last night."

"That's unlike you."

I shrugged "Well there's breakfast. I need something after last night."

And before I put my shirt on (The one I wear over my black undershirt mind you) I turned to Weiss and asked "Did drunk me mention anything weird last night?"

She looked hesitant to tell me.

"Don't worry about it, that look tells me all I need to know."

"No nonono it's not like that." Weiss said quickly. "You just mentioned what you thought of me and the rest of our team."

Wait… drunk me told them… I hope and pray to whatever deity is out there that's all drunk me told her. "What did the drunk me have to say?"

She kept a warm smile at me as she told me "That you see all of us like daughters."

Oh… I was going to say that myself but I guess the cat's out of the bag. "Yeah that's true." I gave a quick sigh before continuing "Weiss, I understand your feelings for me. But, as I'm sure drunk me could attest, I cannot return your feelings. Not when I need to help my fiance see the light once more."

She rolled her eyes at me and asked "Are you always this overdramatic?"

"I mean… according to my mother, yes."

She took a few steps towards me, with her long hair flowing with every step "I've had an entire night to process. And I think it's kind of sweet what you think of us. As much as it hurts to know your true feelings."

I gave a slight chuckle. "Well, I was going to tell you eventually, preferably when I wasn't drunk off my gourd."

"I would have prefered that myself."

We both then started to laugh.

She then looked down at my prosthetic arm and quietly asked "What will father do once he sees you?"

I gave her a shrug "I don't know, but I'll wing it. It's all I've been doing since I got into the hell fortress."

She then gestured to the door.

"See you down there. I promise I won't do anything I'll regret…" My eyes drifted off to the side "within the next 5 minutes." I told her.

She laughed and said "Alright then. Now let me get changed."

And so I left for the dining hall. Where no doubt Jacque and Whitley will be. God I'm not looking forward to this.

As soon as I made it to the dining hall I decided to take time to mentally prepare myself. It happens that I am extremely good at dealing with rich entitled assholes like Jacques.

And so after mentally preparing myself, and making a cross over my shoulders and from my head down to my torso, I opened up the doors to see that I was right. Whitley and Jacques sitting at the head. Mine and Weiss' plates just a couple seats away and opposite of eachother.

Jacques noticed my new robotic appendage immediately. And like any good host commented "So you finally put it on… took you long enough."

"Good morning to you too Jacques." I said as I approached my plate.

"I was just telling father how much of a drunken fool you were last night." Whitley told me with a hint of condescending.

I ignored it and asked Jacques "So is there something you need from me?"

Jacques, taken aback by my brazen question, answered "Yes… We do have a fundraiser to help out Vale in their time of need."

"Ok… where does that leave me?"

Jacques adjusted his tie as he explained "First I need you to spread the word in both Atlas and Mantle. Though I doubt they'll be able to attend."

I said nothing to that.

"Anyway, just put posters up and make sure they can be seen."

"Don't you have people for that?" I asked after taking a bite. Seems like a standard breakfast of egg whites, breakfast sausage and grapes. I would have preferred oranges but I guess the Schnees prefer going against norms.

"We do, however I think it'll be good for the people to know you're up and about."

I gave him a sideways glance before saying "I'll go, if I can bring Weiss along."

Just then I heard the doors behind me open.

Jacques nodded "Of course, so long as she stays by your side."

Weiss sat down and gave me an inquisitive look.

"I'll explain later Weiss. But to boil it down to basics you and I are taking a walk." I then turned back to Jacques "I'd like to start in Mantle. I figured they won't absolutely hate my guts down there."

"That sounds like an absolutely…" He looked like he was about to say something else but then corrected himself "Terrific idea!"

Whitley turned sharply to Jacques "What with the lower class rabble? He already stumbled around our manor drunk once. Who's to say he won't do it again?"

"Unlike Willow I can control myself." I told Whitley.

Whitley was about to argue back when Jaques stopped him and said "You and I will have a discussion later." He then turned back to us "as for you and my daughter, feel free to leave anytime you wish. I'll have the butlers and maids to prepare you to advertise."

And just as I had finished up Jacques spoke up once more "And I'll need to speak with you about your role in our fundraiser."

She nodded solemnly. She then turned to me and told me "go ahead. I'll catch up."

And so I left the dining hall. Not sure I'd want to be there anyway.

So I went out to their little courtyard where a huge statue of their sigil stood.

And there I met my fiance once again. Leaning against said statue with her arms crossed.

"You showed up." She told me.

I gave her a shrug as I fired back "breakfast IS the most important meal of the day."

She rolled her eyes at me.

"Anyway, what's up?"

She stared at my prosthetic arm.

"Yes yes I put it on finally but that doesn't mean I'm ready to go back out there."

She jumped down and sauntered over to me "you will need to eventually."

"Yeah yeah I know."

She crossed her arms at me "so what are you doing?"

"Going down to Mantle to spread posters like that one nightclub promotion mission in GTA online."

She glanced behind me before saying "so it's happening soon?"

I nodded at her "yeah. The "fundraiser" as Jacques put it."

"So…" she took two steps closer to me "what're you planning?"

"An escape. Thinking about Klein's escape tunnel in the library."

"And Jacques hitting Weiss?"

"Won't happen on my watch."

"Even if he throws you out?"

I chuckled at her "Please, as if he'd throw me out. It's a bargain of a lifetime to have a Vermilion in his house. Not to mention try to marry Weiss off to me. I doubt he'll do any such thing."

She raised an eyebrow at me "Ok there are several things to unpack in that sentence. But regardless… that's what you said about my mom."

"And has she threatened to kick me out onto the streets?"

She rolled her eyes at me.

"Exactly."

"You need to stop being so abrasive." she deadpanned.

Raising and lowering my shoulders I replied "Well that's kinda what you signed up for when you decided to say yes to me."

She took a deep breath as if she were contemplating why she said yes to me before asking "So, what are you doing?"

"Well I wanted to grab some fresh air before heading down to Mantle."

"So does this mean I get to harass the Karen in the purple dress?"

I nodded as I answered "Yes, just don't go overboard."

Somewhere behind me I heard Weiss shout my Remnant name. "Make yourself scarce. And please don't do anything you'll regret."

She gave me a sinister smile before disappearing behind the Schnee Family statue.

"There you are." Weiss said as she caught up to me.

I turned to see she took my advice about the top. It now dawned a sapphire gem instead of a ruby one. But the earrings still had rubies in them. "Yep, just getting some fresh air. It was getting stuffy with all of Jacques' hot air."

She gave a slightly shocked expression as she was laughing "Oh my gods Achilles. You can't just say that."

I shrugged with a mischievous smile "What can I say? I'm just one of those people."

After she was done with her laughing fit she informed me "Anyways, father prepared our transport and items for our trip to Mantle."

"Like a duffle bag and a staple gun?"

She nodded.

"To be honest I was joking."

"I know. But how else are we supposed to hang up advertisements?"

I held a finger up for a moment as I was about to say something I probably shouldn't. I then retracted my finger.

"Exactly. Now come on, before father changes his mind." Weiss ordered as she grabbed my robot wrist and dragged me out of the courtyard.

I turned around to see Jocelyn staring at me. Though with the glare I can't tell if she's upset… I will have to tell her later what happened.

Mantle

Once we touched down in Mantle I gave Weiss a suggestion "We should split up and cover more ground. You can go to the east and I'll stick to the west."

She raised an eyebrow out of concern "Aren't you afraid of people trying to hurt us?"

I shook my head "No of course not. Besides who would be foolish enough to attack a Vermilion?"

She gave me a deadpan expression.

"Aside from the terrorist Adam Taurus."

She rolled her eyes at me "Whatever at least give me half of those posters."

So I did, and just like that, Weiss and I split up. I figured that it would help us cover more ground and let us just clear our heads. Sure it's a new place and it may also have it's criminal underground. But let's be honest, I doubt there's much here.

Aside from the fact there's atlesian patrols every few minutes, there's way too many street lamps, and with that, potential for witnesses.

I know this due to the fact my own home town is still well lit despite the fact that no one is around after midnight. Not like there's many stores open after 10 anyway aside from the grocery store I worked in. Which is 24 hours.

Ah a good spot to put up another one. Personally I don't ever hang up more than one in certain locations. It's why I never really went out on advertising trips with my school's gaming club. Well that and my social anxiety back then.

With a staple gun in hand I stapled the four corners of the poster on a wooden pole I assumed was for phones.

It's funny how such a futuristic fantasy world still uses modern Earthling tools. I guess that makes adjusting easier. Even if it means I won't see my parents, or my friends again…

I find myself staring up at the sky a lot more lately. Wondering further more about the fact that one of the Voyager's managed to make it to Remnant. But it raises a few problems. If I wanted to send a message back, it would require a lot of math that I quite frankly am not smart enough for. Hell I graduated highschool with a D- in algebra.

Not to mention I don't know which day it landed and what position Remnant was in at the time of the impact, besides that Ironwood told me they already sent a radio wave in the direction so I don't need to worry about it… for now.

Thank God I managed to save my earbuds. And with the bluetooth-like setting on my scroll and my Spotify playlist being saved somehow. I walked down while I was listening to Skillet that was on my main playlist.

Just as the song changed I heard a scream. I paused it and looked around and heard another one. Not sure where it's coming from but I have a feeling it's in that alley… Should I investigate?

… no I probably shouldn't…

No pride, I won't let you control me this time.

I could get injured or worse.

...

Goddamnit.

I inched towards the corner and I heard more muffled screams with a voice quietly demanding "Keep yer damn mouth shut. And I won't make it hurt."

Either this is some sort of serial killer, or a rapist…

Why am I like this?

I turned the corner to see a man straddling over a woman. He had a knife to her neck and has yet to notice me.

Thinking critically I could just throw my duffle bag at him and disorent him long enough to cover her and throw him like a ragdoll…

Problem is I'm not much of a hand-to-hand fighter. I only know most of the basics and some of what Aaron and Yang taught me.

… Actually that should be enough.

So I took the duffle bag off my shoulder and yeeted it with all of my might which made contact with the guy's right side knocking him off the woman. As I approached I saw some of her clothes were in a way that showed some of her intimate wear. So I took my windbreaker off and tossed it to her.

I then cracked my knuckles on my right hand. "So you thought you could get away with this and no one would be around to hear her muffled screams."

He got up and pointed his knife at me "Don't you see what she's wearing? She's asking for it!"

I looked back at her then back to the creep "Clothes do not consent. The person in them does. And she clearly did not consent."

"Don't matter. She wants it. Just look at her!" he retorted.

Well this is going nowhere, might as well resort to threats. "Listen buddy. You don't stop right now there will be consequences."

He laughed at me "It ain't like the police will do anything. And Gods forbid the Atlesian military come down here and actually enforce their laws."

Welp he's made his choice "Shame. And to think your parents popped you out." I then gave him a smirk. "How disappointed do you think they will be when they find out what you did here today?"

"SHUT UP!" he yelled as he charged me with his knife.

Using my robotic arm. I caught the knife on the blade and kicked him back. I then threw the knife to the side of me. Of course my non robotic arm started to shake as I am not really used to going back into combat. Not with what I've experienced. So let's see if I can end this as quickly as Yang did with that one guy.

So taking Aaron and Yang's lessons into account. I got myself in a defensive position. And he threw a right hook. I blocked it with my right and proceeded to punch him across the face with all of my might.

Suffice to say, he flew back a good 3 feet (1 meter), or at least that could have been the case if there wasn't a brick wall right behind him.

I went to go check his pulse in case I accidently killed him. Somehow he's still alive but barely.

"Um… thank you.." Said the woman behind me. "But why did you help me?"

I turned to her and answered "To be honest I was planning on ignoring this… but seeing as how I was the only one in the vicinity."

She looked around before continuing, "Well… thank you anyway." she said as she slowly stood up.

"No prob. But you should probably take another path home. I'm not going to always be around y'know."

She gave a nod. As we walked out of that alleyway.

Once out she asked me "Do you mind walking me home?"

I gave her a nod and answered "Yeah, just let me get that duffle bag. It's got some important stuff in it."

After I got it we walked down the street. She told me she'd lead the way since she's walked this way for years.

And now getting better lighting I can see that she has black hair and freckles across her face.

Sometime down the street she eventually asked "Are you a huntsman?"

It took me a moment to come up with an answer. And when I did I explained to her "Yes, I was in training. But I had to take some time off after Beacon…"

I could feel her blue eyes gaze down to my prosthetic. "You lost your arm?"

"To a terrorist, yes."

She gasped "That's horrible!"

With my shoulders raised I told her "It's all in the line of duty. We're just weapons in someone else's war so that they can claim victory."

She shook her head at me and said "No, you don't deserve to be treated like that."

I gave her a shrug once more "It's what's necessary to make sure you all get to sleep without the fear of grimm knocking down your walls."

"Well don't they treat you guys better than most?"

For that I have no idea. I know some huntsmen or huntresses get enough fame to get marked down in history. Hell Maria used to be one. But she kinda just went into hiding. As for the rest… "Well I suppose so if we become legendary. But that's a 1 in a million chance of that happening."

As we approached an apartment complex she spoke up "So… why don't you try to achieve legendary status? It seems like a good idea."

I gave her a chuckle "And steal the spotlight from everyone else? No thanks."

"Mm… You kinda already did Achilles."

That raised a few flags in my head "How do you know my name?"

"Duh! I watched the VYTAL Festival when it was being live streamed!"

"They live stream that?"

"Of course! You didn't know that?"

"Well if I had, I would have carried myself with more conservativeness." Welp. I guess she saw me and Joce with our little bit of theatre acting.

She laughed "Oh you're just as delightful in person!"

"Don't get your hopes up. I'm not exactly a good role model." I told her with my arms crossed.

"Oh don't be so dramatic. A lot of kids look up to you. And those about to become huntsmen in training like me hope to be like you."

"Thanks but all of you should reconsider."

"Azure!" Someone called "Who's that with you?"

"Achilles Vermilion. He saved me today!" The girl I guess named Azure answered.

The woman, who for now I'll assume is the mother of this girl, ran up to her and hugged her while asking all of the usual motherly questions "Are you alright? What happened? Who do I need to call?"

And at that point I cleared my throat "I will need my coat back."

"Oh right… sorry!" Azure said as she handed me my windbreaker back.

The mother looked at me with a sweet smile on her face "Is there anything we can do to pay you back for all you've done?"

I shook my head "This is it's own reward. I don't need money or anything really. I just… want to help the world as much as I can."

She then offered "Would you like some pizza?"

And now I'm intrigued. "Ma'am, I would LOVE some pizza."

And like that, I went inside. "We have pepperoni, meat lovers, and ham and pineapple." the mother told me.

"All of those sound good to me. I'm rather sick of all the high class meals up in Atlas anyway."

1 hour later

{Weiss' perspective}

"Where is he?" I mumbled to myself as I stirred the food that was left in my soup. He was supposed to meet me back here an hour ago. And it's difficult to relax when so many eyes are on me.

I know I'm the heiress, but this tends to get annoying after a time.

And just as I was about to stand up, who should appear but the four-eyed dork cladded in crimson.

"Finally…" I sighed.

As soon as he sat down I asked "Where have you been? It's been over an hour."

"I went to get pizza." he answered flatly.

In utter disbelief I asked "You… what?"

He then leaned in and spoke slower "I. went to get. Pizza. Keep up Weiss."

"No I heard you. I just… why?"

He then shrugged "Eh I wasn't gonna turn down free food after I saved this one girl from getting assaulted."

I didn't know what to say. This seems rather weird even for him. "Why… didn't you say that first?"

"The pizza part was more important as it happened more recently." He explained.

I can't believe this guy… "You make less and less sense every day."

He cracked a wide grin as he said "Get used to it sweetheart, I make less sense every day!"

I don't know whether that's a good or bad thing. "Anyway…" I started as I rolled my eyes "Father's transport has been waiting. We should go before he starts sending people after us."

"What like a secret service?" He asked.

"You don't want to know…" I told him.

And so we left Mantle.
