A/N: On 1/22/2018, Searece and InMoNochrome started another writing exercise together! Searece contributed the first 25 words, and InMoNochrome contributed the last 25. More or less. These are Searece's sentences.

xXx

1. Introspection—Few people were strong at introspection; Jazz especially knew that he needed to work at it for himself.

2. Iridescence—Jazz kissed his little one's helm and smiled as Sniffer walked away to dance with his mates, iridescence shining on his black plating.

3. Ostentation—Another noble trait that was utterly despicable was ostentation, and while Jazz loved a good party, the nobles only held them to show off their wealth and backstab other families.

4. Fluctuate—The light of Jazz's seemingly magnetic attraction fluctuated with his powerful control of his form; he could go from being the hottest mech in the room with everybody surrounding him to a minor inconvienence, a wallflower to get around when fetching energon.

5. Intimidate—A dangerous grin and a furious visor flash intimidated more than one mech in the room who knew exactly what Jazz did in his line of work.

Note: 3, 4, and 5 are in the same verse. Jazz is an operative for some agency.

6. Annihilate—Prowl stared impassively at the remains of Praxus, the purple symbol shining on his chest plates evidence of the results of the plan he'd made to anniliate the city of his creation.

7. Delineate—Nothing delineated the territories of the wildmech tribes, which made for interesting times where his flighted tribe encountered the roaming bands of Polyhexians scattered around.

Note, 6, Prowl is a feathered/flighted Praxian tribal mech.

8. Emaciate—In secret, Prowl dropped parcels of energon to the care center, not wanting to see the greedy higher ups of Cybertron emaciate the young.

9. Initiate—No pain compared to the initiation of the assassin's guild that Prowl worked so hard to work his way in to.

10. Iterate—Even with his frame as battered and beaten as the Decepticons had done to him, Prowl found the strength to iterate his point to Soundwave-that he would never give him the information they sought to tear from him.

11. Mitigate—Desperately, Jazz tried to mitigate the damage to Prowl's internal components, but there was nothing he could think to do as Prowl bled out underneath him.

12. Palpitate—With his spark palpitating in his chest, the young hunter aimed carefully with his newly carved bow and released an arrow at the electrodeer.

13. Propitiate—From the shadows of his own temple, Jazz watched the mortals propitiate him with sacrifices of their time, materials, and effort.

14. Benevolent—There were a multitude of gods in the Cybertronian pantheon, but for Prowl, the chief among them was the benevolent god of family and home Dzhaz, whom Prowl prayed to every day and made frequent offerings so that he might one day raise a family of his own in a safe, loving home.

15. Manifest—For a long time, Dzhaz couldn't decide what form to manifest as in front of the Praxian to see and believe that he was the god the Praxian sought to contact, but he eventually decided on a small cybercat that showed signs of a recent birth and lactation, fitting of his position over family and home.

Note: 13, 14, and 15 are in the same verse. It's god Jazz. azz's god name Dzhaz comes from the Ukrainian version of his name given by the TFwiki. Maybe I should have named him Maisuta, from the Japanese name he had. Google Translate pronounces it almost the same as "Jazz," maybe more like "drass" or "drhas."

16. Refutation—Jazz's crossed arms and baleful glare was his refutation to the other mech's statement that Jazz always maintained a cheerful face in any situation.

17. Repugnance—There was no way-no possible way!-to cover his repugnance at the sight of the carcasses of the giant organic arachnids that infested this planet.

18. Acrid—The memories of their farewell left an acrid emotion in his processor, his frame shaking as he stomped down the unfamiliar street that he had made his nest in.

19. Adroit—There was such beauty in the adroit battlefield manipulation that Prowl set upon them.

20. Affable—Every companion Jazz ever had was affable, until Prowl, who acted so tense and closed-off that Jazz wondered if the experienced Praxian tribesmech had a rod wedged between his legs.

Note, 20, I'm thinking Jazz is a merchant or performer in a caravan, and they pick up bots regularly to travel with or protect them. Prowl is a beastmaster tribesmech who comes along with them to travel and collect more creatures.

21. Agile—Lust encased Prowl as he watched the agile Polyhexian dip his frame around the dancers he mingled with, the sight of that thin frame making Prowl's fangs throb in his mouth.

22. Cavalier—There was nothing so cavalier Jazz did as ignore the situation at hand when he didn't care about it.

23. Diabolic(al)—There was something diabolical about Prowl that made bots shiver when they saw him, though Jazz didn't know if it was Prowl's red hornlike chevron or cold amber gaze that turned mechs against him.

24. Fervid—The love between them grew fervid with the things that tried to tear them apart, a strange desperation grasping their sparks as they frantically stole moments of time, a knight and a mage.

25. Knight—Jazz didn't need any pathetic knight to save him from the foul bandits, but the help was greatly appreciated, especially when the knight that had finally reached him was as handsome as this Praxian with a red chevron, gold optical lenses, and broad white wings. The Polyhexian mage admired the other's movements, those accurate sword strokes, as he himself fired off spell after spell at the bandits.

26. Magic—The Polyhexian mage loved to show off his skills with his magic, especially when it got that delectable knight to stare at him, the mech's optics darkening to burnished gold, wings fanning up and out.

Note: 24, 25, and 26 are in the same verse. In 26, "magic", they're safe and sound in the castle where Prowl serves. Thoughts I had: Knights and mages are forbidden to procreate or enter relationships, either alone or between each other, until they're too old or damaged to serve the kingdom. Maybe mages are that way (gain more power as they age, but in turn become frailer faster?) and knights are free to take lovers among the common folk, even encouraged to breed them because new knights are taken care of even if it will be a long time until they reach full knighthood.

27. Revenge—Desire burned inside him, but not the carnal desires of the flesh. No, he wanted revenge. Revenge for the lives lost at the massacre of his people.

28. Ravage—His visor dimmed as he stared at the Decepticon cat trapped in the brig, Ravage's hateful red optics glaring at the two Autobots at his side, but not daring to ever look at his carrier as the Polyhexian stepped into the cage they'd modified to keep him inside.

29. Radiate—The radiating beauty of the Astari stunned Prowl, made him lose his voice whenever he beheld the celestial race.

30. Merge—"Will you merge with me?" Jazz asked with a small smile, energon leaking from his lips as he coughed, "Just one last time."

31. Horns—Beautiful spiraling horns gleamed below him, a perfect sight for the dragon carrying eggs of the sire down there.

32. Monster—His opinion of himself had changed so much as the war went on; he was no longer the cheerful mech like the facade he put up claimed. Instead, he was the Monster in the dark, the haunting figure murdering mechs in their sleep, a killer without care for how many he slayed.

33. Substantiate—Nothing substantiated a spectre, not will, not devouring the sparks of the living, and certainly not falling in love with a living mech, but Prowl couldn't help himself as he watched the ignorant Polyhexian go about his daily life.

34. Ghost—Jazz crouched behind the corner of his wall and peered into his kitchen to stare in fear at the ghostly form of an ancient Praxian warrior.

Note: 33 and 34 are the same verse.

35. Shimmer—Bright lights shimmered above him, making Jazz lift his servo up to cover his optics, and when he finally looked back to the room around him, he saw dozens of crystals in his vision.

36. Engage—Jazz laughed and crosses his legs at the knees, leaning back and making sure his posture was as engaging as possible so his target would be more comfortable with him.

37. Rend—Mecha were so cruel; each time he was rejected, Jazz could feel his spark rend in twain.

38. Range—With as high a vocal range as Jazz had, nobody wondered why he had been picked for the lead role in the opera.

39. League—Prowl stared with narrow optics at the sea, keeping one servo on the ship controls as he calculated how many leagues away the ocean city of Polyhex was.

40. Legend—There was a legend that everbody knew but none truly believed, and that legend of the wraith of Polyhex was Prowl's only hope of survival.

41. Entertain—Jazz constantly sought new ways to entertain his lovely little sparklings, always on the lookout for mechs they'd enjoy playing with, especially Praxians.

Note, 41, Jazz is a Monster Mother or Creature Carrier. He breeds creatures that follow his command and have no morals. He and his creations lust for fresh metal of murdered mechs, preferring them as sustenance over anything mined.

42. Temper—Prowl dragged the palette knife across the expensive imported marble slab as he scooped around the copolate liquid, cooling and tempering it.

Note, 42: This is who InMoNochrome and I call "goodiemaker" Prowl, who uses intimate fluid to flavor and produce his goodies. He's tempering chocolate in this sentence in preparation to make truffles. He probably used intimate fluid instead of a portion of "heavy cream" here.

43. Intimate—There were few in either army that feared intimacy more than Jazz. The physical act of interfacing didn't bother him-he quite liked that-, but the vulnerability that sharing thoughts and speaking honestly with another bot caused always wreaked terror upon his spark.

44. Toil—This repetitive motion tired him, made him ache far more than any torture could do, and the fact that he had no choice about the toil drove him crazy.

45. Accelerate—The beast's engine underneath Jazz revved as he squeezed his legs around his beast's shoulders to coax it to accelerate.

46. Provoke—The city mech wanted to provoke the outlander into attacking him, but Jazz wouldn't let himself be riled up enough to cause chaos between their races.

47. Slay—He would slay everything for the beastmaster riding his back, even the mech's own tribe if they got between him and Jazz.

48. Conjure—Jazz conjured the rope seemingly from nowhere as he tossed it over the neck and body of the beast of their hunt.

Note: 45, 46, 47, and 48 are in the same verse. They were inspired by a ficlet I wrote about tribal beastmaster Jazz. It was chapter 11 of my fic "30 Days of Prowl and Jazz", the prompt "With Animal Ears."

49. Delicacy—Nothing excited the tourists more than the chance to try his restaurant's famous delicacy, though Jazz closely guarded that the source of the small round jewels was the Polyhexians themselves.

Note, 48, this was inspired by an idea I had a while back. Jazz owns a restaurant off the coast of Polyhex and employs only Polyhexian carriers. They lay eggs, and those unfertilized eggs are the delicacy they feed the tourists. Basically, Polyhexian caviar. It doesn't bother them at all.

50. Hidden—Even in his younglinghood, he kept his helm down and his EM field tucked low in a desperate bid to stay hidden from those who would harm him.
