A/N: This is weird.
Roger/Cho but... not.
Read and you'll understand. Hopefully. Possibly. Maybe.
FireAtWill52.
Zero:
"Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time. It is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable." Sidney J. Harris.
Zero is the number of seconds in a minute that he regretted falling on love with her. He ought to regret it, really, but he did not. She was not his. She never would be. He had married a beautiful woman who was in love with a brilliant man who was dead. Cedric was dead. And inside, Cho was too. Sure, she had married Roger, but she would never love him and it would never be right. Deep inside he knew she belonged to Cedric. He was not even going to try and change that. She was Cedric's. Roger was simply keeping her head above water until she could be with him again. And amazingly enough, somehow, that was alright by him. He felt he owed it to Cedric. He did not know why, really... he just... did. He just did. They had not even been friends; they were Quidditch rivals, first and foremost, vague acquaintances second.
Zero is the number of seconds in a day that he regretted falling in love with her. He was sure Cedric understood. He just did, Roger knew. He just did.
Fin.
A/N: Hope you enjoyed, even though it's short...
Also hope the story made sense; Roger talking about how he doesn't regret that he married Cho, even though she does not love him...
