AN: I own nothing. Please read and review!
The next day, Mary woke up early, double checked she had everything, and read, waiting anxiously until it was time for her to catch her flight. A few hours before her flight, Mary checked out of her room and caught a cab to the airport. When she stepped out of the cab after an hour, she sent the letters off with an owl that had followed Hedwig to the airport.
It was chaotic. There were people everywhere, and it was loud.
Once she finally got onto the plane, it was quiet. She got off in South Dakota, not bothering to check past asking a cab driver to take her to a hotel. In her room, she collapsed onto the bed to sleep off the jetlag.

Albus Dumbledore was not a happy man. The tracking devices on his weapon- err, student- were no longer working. It wasn't until two hours later that he understood why. An owl came through the window and dropped a letter on the desk, swooping right back out. Albus promptly broke the seal and read the letter. The more he read, the angrier he got.
She was not supposed to learn of this until I told her! How dare she leave me to fight! This is her job! She fights, she dies, I take the credit! I must find her!
He immediately flooed the Order's headquarters to get help with finding his weapon.

Ron Weasley didn't understand the consequences of opening the letter from Mary at the table and reading it. For one, he thought the entire family was in on the plan. He read it all the way through at his mother's urging, just wanted to get back to his food.
Ronald,
I know what you and your mother tried to pull. Stealing from my vaults, feeding me love and loyalty potions, the compulsion charms, the illegal marriage contract. Just letting you and your mother know, seeing as this will most definitely find its way to her in time, that next time you attempt to access my vaults, you will be outed to the Daily Prophet and the DMLE. Yourselves and Dumbledore have one year to pay off your debts to me. This includes any money you have been given by Albus Dumbledore. You will be getting the amounts from Gringotts. Tread with caution. And go ahead and marry that backstabbing traitor, Hermione. At least you'll have something in common.

Lady Potter,
Heiress Black.

Molly Weasley was not a happy woman. The Potter brat had found out about the plan and had put in safeguards to prevent them from getting any more money. How were they supposed to pay off the amount of money they had stolen?
When she got her hands on that brat, she would pay.

Hermione Granger was not a happy girl. When she got the letter from Mary, she had been upset. Then, in her haste to write to Dumbledore, she had left the letter on the table, where her parents had read it. After learning what she had done, they had called their bank to block her from their accounts and disowned her, leaving her with her trunk and the knowledge that she could come back if she ever made it up to Mary. She made her way to 12 Grimmauld place at Dumbledore's order.

Sirius was happy. His goddaughter had finally gotten out of England. And she had invited him to go with her! Granted, it was by portkey after she was over there and he would have to stay Snuffles for the most part, but he would get out of England and keep his goddaughter safe at the same time. He waited until he could get out of the house to activate it, closing off the house again to keep the Order from using it, enraging Dumbledore further.

Fred and George were ecstatic. Their sister in all but blood was finally safe. And she gave them money to start a prank shop. And a location in Diagon Alley. She helped them make their dreams into a reality. They hoped she would remember to contact them if she ever needed anything.

Luna had known for months that Mary was going to get out of England. When she did, she celebrated with her father and Hedwig. One of her few friends was now safe.

Remus was relieved and angry in intervals. His honorary goddaughter had left them all behind. On the other hand, she had her reasons. She had also gotten him quite a few potential job interviews, all teaching or book related. They were all looking for qualified candidates over the biases in England. Within hours of receiving Mary's letter, he had nine potential jobs outside of England. Meaning that he could leave the war behind. He wouldn't have to be a spy with the werewolves. He could get away from Dumbledore, no longer owing him anything.
He decided to look into these offers. He decided to live his life. Especially after Sirius told him his plans to join Mary wherever she went.

Ginny was excited. After the entire family nearly fell apart, she had her own house. She had her own money. She could keep herself afloat for some time and she could monitor who had access to her house. Her mother had put everything under her name without her husband knowing, so when she disowned Arthur, Percy, the twins, and Ginny, they had something to fall back on. When Bill and Charlie learned of this, they confronted her. They were also disowned. Bill and Charlie both had their own places and jobs. Arthur and Percy were off speaking terms, so they were not staying in the same house. Percy was staying with Ginny, Arthur with the twins. Arthur and Molly Weasley got a divorce. Everything in the Weasley family was chaos. Ginny was thankful that her friend had counted on this and given them a way to get by.

Alastair 'Mad-Eye' Moody was finding Albus's reaction to loosing Mary Potter entertaining. Especially since if he couldn't find her, he sincerely doubted anyone else could without her wanting them to. There was also the fact that most of the Weasleys, Remus Lupin, and Sirius Black had all left the Order. On top of that, Voldemort had suddenly gotten sane, going into politics. When it had been reported that Voldemort had been using the Potter, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Peverell, Le Fay, Slytherin, Gaunt, and Pendragon seats on the Wizengamot Albus had been convinced that somethin had happened to Mary. Alastair was convinced that she had just come to her senses.
