Hey everyone, hope you're all doing well today! Pretty much i'm relying on the internet to give me an idea to his character so I apologise if I get anything wrong, suggestions as to how he should act would be greatly appreciated.

Other than that there isn't too much to say, just that I hope you all enjoy todays chapter aswell and any reviews are greatly appreciated.

'What the?' Spider-man thought to himself as he watched the man holster the two escrima sticks on his back in one fluid motion before taking a step over the downed thugs towards him.

"What's a Daredevil, Johnny Knoxville?" Spider-man asked the approaching man as he got into a stance to attack should this new supervillain try take him out like usual.

"Easy Spider-man, i'm not here to fight." Daredevil said as he raised his arms slowly in surrender.

"...You sure?" Spider-man asked wearily as he remembered the initial situation with Max Dillon, aka Electro and how he'd messed up.

"Positive, infact, I need your help." Daredevil stated to a gobsmacked Spider-man, play it cool Spider-man you might be able to get a pacifist run with this supervillain.

"That's wonderful, so what do you need help with? I know some good scientists, a couple of rehab clinics and some good police officers if that's what your situation needs." Spider-man said as he kept his stance steady, still not willing to trust the man infront of him one hundread percent.

"I'm a hero Spider-man you can relax." Daredevil said opening his arms wide as a peace offering to which Spider-man seemed to take the hint as he got out of his stance and stood there with his hands on his hips.

'It'd be amazing to have another hero around but how do I know he's being truthful? I'll put him at ease and worst case scenario my spider-sense should warn me.' Spider-man thought to himself as he watched the man stop in his tracks.

"Now that you've relaxed, it's time we got to the matter at hand. Kingpin." Daredevil said with a scowl set on his face, atleast from what could be seen of his face.

"Kingpin..." Spider-man whispered to himself, testing the name as it jogged some memories in his head.

-Flashback-

"IMPOSTER!"

Sables eyes just widened at the visceral response she was subjected to, whatever she'd been expecting, Spider-man could definitely see it wasn't this.

"YOU'RE NOTHING COMPARED TO KINGPIN!"

-Flashback-

'That was the name those goons at Sables meet up were shouting...what does he know about him?' Spider-man thought wearily as the situation got a bit more tense for him.

"I've heard of him, but only in passing. I'm afraid I got nothing that could help." Spider-man said with a shrug which seemed to only anger the man infront of him who clenched his fists tightly.

"You've got nothing that could help? I thought you've been fighting crime for nearly a year now! Surely you've some information on him?" Daredevil growled impatiently, obviously annoyed at Spider-mans less than stellar answer.

"Sorry but he must be new, what do you think he's up to?" Spider-man asked Daredevil curiously, tilting his head gently to the side and squinting his eyes slightly.

"He's not new, most people just know better than to talk about him. He's the to Tombstone's molehill." Daredevil said painting a less than ideal picture.

"You're saying this guy is worse than Tombstone, the so called big-man of crime?" Spider-man asked skeptically as he watched the man nod in the affirmative.

"When the Silvermanes first went down Tombstone grabbed the big-man title first but not everyone agreed with that. The massive amount of thugs who disagreed with that were said to go to the city's quieter but more ruthless crime boss, Kingpin."

Spider-mans eyes got progressively wider and wider the more he listened to Daredevil explain the situation, a situation which might shake up everything he knew about the city's underworld.

"Think of it like an iceberg, Tombstone and all these other supervillains like Doc Oc or the Green Goblin were all fighting for the piece above the water. The bit under the water however was controlled solely by Kingpin." Daredevil explained with a metaphor to the shocked Spider-man.

"So there's a new old big-man of crime in this city doing whatever he wants?" Spider-man asked Daredevil almost scared of the answer. Captain Stacy was right there was always someone new to fill in a vaccum in nature.

"Exactly, and I need your help taking him down." Daredevil said getting to the point of the meeting, well other than stopping the thugs who were currently webbed to the roof unconcious.

"You're not worried about what happened to the last big-man of crime?" Spider-man questioned cautiously, it wasn't a question he enjoyed asking but it was one he kinda had to.

"Well that depends-" Said Daredevil as he reached behind him to draw his escrima sticks. "- Did you intentionally kill the Green Goblin?"

"No! No, it was an accident, I swear things just got out of hand as I was defending myself." Spider-man reassured Daredevil, despite the little voice whispering in his head 'Was it an accident?'

Whatever he said seemed to do the job as Daredevil returned his weapons to their holsters on his back and smiled at him. "I thought so."

"Glad to have gotten that out of the way." Spider-man said giving a sigh of relief before he turned his attention back towards Daredevil. "But how can I trust you that Kingpin really is a criminal? Or that your not?"

"How about you do some research and we meet back up in Hells Kitchen next week? Once you have a better understanding of the situation you should be willing to trust me a bit more." Daredevil proposed to a contemplative Spider-man.

"That's an idea. Alright, but how will I find you when it's time to meet up?"

"Don't worry, i'll find you." Daredevil said simply before turning around and running off into the night over the city rooftops as Spider-man tried to keep track of the dark shadow, ultimately giving up a moment later when it looked like he'd vanished.

"Alright then, kinda spooky but ah well. Now what to do with you three?" Spider-man said as he watched the groaning thugs on the rooftop.

llllllll

"Harry?" Peter asked cautiously as he took another step into the near pitch black penthouse that the Osborns called home. Peter could barely make his way through the impromptu obstacle course with his eyes, only really able to make out vague shapes as he walked slowly towards the door which had the light switch beside it.

*BANG*

"Damn it!" Peter swore as he rubbed his knee cap furiously from where it'd just banged off the Osborn's coffee table. 'Thanks for nothing spider-sense.'

The only sound Peter could hear in the silent penthouse was his own breathing and his shaky footsteps towards the light switch. A journey which soon reached its conclusion as Peter's hands finally found their place on the wall.

'Now where was it...' Peter thought to himself as he started groping the wall for the light switch, running his hands over the wall in hopes he'd bump into it.

"Geez how hard is it to turn the lights on in this place, was it here? here? he-Aha!" Peter cheered quietly as his right hand brushed off something along the wall in the dark, something with a distinctly switch like shape.

Sadly flipping the switch did nothing but make a noise that echoed in the dark room, the lights flickering on for a brief second before turning off. That brief second was enough for Peter to spot something moving quickly in the room at the top of the staircase, or atleast it looked like he had as he cast his squinting eyes to his left where the rooms staircase was.

"Harry, that you?" Peter called out into the darkness, waiting but not getting any response.

"Oookayyyy, odd, everything good?" Peter asked into the darkness as he started walking up the staircase slowly, his right hand on the wall to ground him.

Reaching the top of the staircase Peter cast his eyes down the nearby hallway which led further into the penthouse and the bedrooms. Whilst he couldn't hear anything there was quite plainly a door cracked open slightly further down the hall, a light shinning out of it.

"Well I guess if he's anywhere it'd be there." Peter whispered to himself quietly as he began walking towards the cracked open door.

It didn't take long to reach the door, the hallway seeming to urge him closer and closer towards it the more he focused on it until he was finally left standing at it. Pushing the door open Peter was momentarily blinded by the bright light in the room which was in sharp contrast to the darkness enveloping the rest of the penthouse.

"Harry, you in here?" Peter asked aloud as he walked into a Harry's bedroom, the bed against the wall covered in an oppulent blanket and ostrich feathered pillows. Walking further into the room Peter couldn't see anywhere Harry could be hiding except maybe the closet.

Walking infront of the closet Peter began to get chills running down his spine, not his spider-sense but something equally as forboding. With sweaty hands and wide eyes, Peter put his hands on the closet handles and reefed the open, hoping to see Harry sitting down in the walk in closet.

What he saw instead was nothing but an empty room. Harry's walk in closet wasn't the biggest one in the house but it was nothing to scoff at, its light seemed broken like nearly every other in the penthouse as the light from Harry's bedroom seeped into the darkness of the closet.

Keeping his eyes alert Peter slowly walked in, casting his eyes around the room in search of the person he'd been looking for, aka Harry. Walking around the closet took Peter maybe three minutes tops but it revealed nothing, the room was empty.

Heading back out into Harry's room Peter gave the room another once over incase he missed something that might indicate where Harry vanished to. This was both a good and bad thing however as Peter did spot something but it wasn't something he was super thrilled to see.

Walking over to Harry's desk, Peter spotted three framed photos hanging on the wall behind his state of the art computer. In these photo's Gwen could be seen on Harry's arm at the recent party, the valentines dinner and one of the two cuddled up on the couch together watching a movie.

It felt like a punch to the gut a he stared at the photos depicting the woman he loved in another mans arms.

"Whatcha think of my girlfriend eh Peter?" Came a voice directly behind Peter causing him to turn around in shock but nothing prepared him for what he saw. Standing there leaning against the wall with a crazed look in his eyes as he watched both Peter and the photos was The Green Goblin, a primed pumpkin bomb in hand as he tossed it between his open palms.

"Sweet dreams Petey." The Goblin said mockingly before the bomb exploded in his hands and destroying the room alongside the two in it in a giant ball of green ash and smoke.

lllllll

"Huh, huh, huh" Peter panted as he sat upright in his bed, sweat soaking the sheets as he patted himself down to make sure he was alright.

"Another nightmare?" Peter whispered to himself in alarm as he held his head within his hands. Taking a moment to centre himself Peter checked his phone to see what time it is.

{4:04am}

"4am?" Peter whispered dejectedly, stepping out of bed on shaky legs and quickly changing into a fresh pair of pjammas and switching the bed sheets with a clean set as he did so.

Laying back down on the bed after finally getting his breathing in check Peter cast a wary eye around the room to make sure there were no Goblin themed surprises waiting in store for him.

Peter would spend the next twenty minutes trying to fall back asleep only to have no luck, atleast until he reached over and picked up Gwens card from his bedside locker where it had been resting.

Giving it a quick read over immediately eased some of Peters worries as he thought back to the images of Gwen and Harry up in dream Harry's room. Holding the card close to him Peter curled up and went back to sleep now that he wasn't alone.

lllllll

*CAW, CAW, TWEET, TWEET*

The sounds of birds chirping loudly outside his window woke Peter up as he blearily opened his eyes to glare at them.

"Stupid birds, just let me sleep, it's a saturday, there's no school" Peter groaned as he turned over in the bed still clutching the card close to his chest. This lasted for about a minute before Peter shot up and checked the time

{8:35am}

"Oh shit i'm late!" Peter shouted in surprise once he'd seen the time, quickly placing the card back where it belongs before bolting over to the closet and getting dressed in a flash, thankfully he already had clean boxers on since he woke up at 4am but he still needed to get himself into his usual outfit for the day.

"Peter, weren't you helping someone today?" Aunt May called out from behind his door which he quickly opened now that he was dressed, hurrying past her and down the stairs.

"YepSpendingTheDayWithMJSorryGottaRun." Peter hurriedly spoke as he ran out the door, oblivious to the smile Aunt May had on her face as she shook her head.

It took him just over 5 minutes to make it to the Watson residence from when he checked the time and had his initial panic. Knocking on the door softly but firmly, Peter waited for the hammer to drop as he stood there on the front porch.

*CLICK*

The door opened with a click and the smiling face of MJ could be seen standing in the now open doorway.

"Morning Tiger, wake up late?" MJ asked with a grin as she let Peter into the house, closing the door behind him before walking up the stairs towards her room, gesturing to Peter to follow her.

"How'd you know?" Peter sheepishly replied as he rubbed his neck whilst he made it to the top of the stairs.

"Oh you know, you're always up late doing work for the Buggle, you've bags under your eyes but you know what the most damning piece of evidence is?" MJ said with a bird catching grin.

"My shirts on back to front?" Peter said with a chuckle as MJ opened what he assumed was the door to her room.

"Well, that to." MJ said with a chuckle as the two walked into her baby blue walled room. "But no, the most damning piece of evidence was that I saw you wake up and panic." MJ said pointing to the window which was directly across from Peters own and gave her a clear view into his room.

'Gah, how have I never noticed that before! Gotta remember to close my blinds from now on...' Peter thought to himself before his face suddenly broke out into a blush. "Wait, did you see me getting dressed?" Peter asked suddenly as the rogue thought entered his brain.

"Maybe~" MJ said with a giggle. "Who knows what i've seen Tiger"

Well that was one way to gurantee Peter blush became a full body one as he tried to think back to any embarassing moments she might've seen before shaking his head.

"Let's hope it was nothing too indecent shall we?" Peter said with a blush as he avoided meeting MJ's gaze, instead casting his eyes around the room. The bed was messy as if someone had just crawled out of it, a pile of fashion magazines stoodd pilled on the bedside locker beside a framed photo of her and Mark, and clothes lay strung out along the floor.

'...Is that? Peter thought with an atomic blush on his face as he gazed at the lacy black bra that was laying on the ground near his feet. "Em, MJ?" Peter squeaked out trying to draw her attention away from the far wall where she was setting something up.

"Yeah Tiger?" MJ asked curiously only to watch as he looked up at the ceiling blushing like crazy, his finger pointed down at something on the floor as MJ's eyes followed it down.

"Gah!" MJ cried, quickly running over and snatching the bra from the floor before shoving it into a wash bin that was nearly stuffed to the brim. "Not one word Peter."

"Agreed" Peter said before shaking his head and walking over to where MJ had been fiddling with something against one of the walls. "So what's this?"

"It's a backdrop for photos, you know the kind they use for taking passport photos? This is a cheap version of one of them, I thought since you weren't accepting payment I might aswell get something to make the day go a bit easier for us." MJ explained to the nodding Peter.

"Do you want a hand?" Peter asked to which MJ only smiled and gestured at the contraption.

It didn't take them long to set it up once they started working together, only about five minutes or so. Sitting on the bed side by side the two admired their handywork and highfived at the sucess as the white backdrop stood against the far wall.

"So what now?" Peter asked MJ curiously, he may be the photographer but he might as well have been point and shoot, the days plan was up to MJ since she knew the brief.

"Well the email said I need a few poses and headshots so i had... a couple of ideas." MJ said, was it just Peters imagination or did she start blushing at the end there?

"Awesome, so where do you wanna start?" Peter said as he raised his camera with a cheeky grin to which MJ laughed and slapped his arm.

"Reign it in TIger, I was thinking a total of ten outfits with ten poses each and a headshot for each outfit, how does that sound?" MJ said with the barest hint of nerves in her voice as she wrung her hands together to which Peter just smiled and gave her a sideways hug.

"That sounds perfect MJ but we'd better get started." Peter said standing up off the bed and walking towards the door so that he could wait outside while MJ changed into the first outfit.

It didn't take long, only about a minute or two until MJ told him he could come back in and boy was he not prepared for what he saw. Standing there in the middle of the room was MJ in her black dress from the fall formal, her hand on her hip and a smirk on her face.

"How do I look?"

"Beau- great, you look great!" Peter said sheepishly as he tried to keep his eyes off MJ's legs and hips whilst she just smiled.

"Thanks Tiger but is it really okay to re-use this dress? I mean the other models must have such a wardrobe to choose from..." MJ said worriedly as her smile cracked a bit, her hands brushing the dress as if to wipe imaginary dirt off of it.

"MJ it's perfect, they aren't interested in the clothes, they're interested in you so it doesn't matter what you wear, you'll look good in anything." Peter said resolutely with a strong smile as MJ's own smile returned at his words.

"Yeah you're right Tiger! Time to knock 'em dead." Said MJ, her energy returning as she walked over to the backdrop and started scrolling through her phone.

"Okay so I looked at Mystery Inc's top 10 poses to be noticed and I was thinking we try them, what do you think?" MJ asked Peter as she memorised the pose before throwing her phone onto the bed.

"That's Daphne Blakes magazine right? Well she is pretty popular so she must know something if she's gotten to where she is. I'd say we try some of the top 10 but we gotta make sure to take some photo's of your poses that you're comfortable in." Peter said as he showcased his photographer knowledge to which MJ only smiled in response.

"I knew you were perfect for the job Tiger, that sounds like a great idea."

The two spent the next few hours doing pose after pose, headshot after headshot and outfit change after outfit change until they were both exhausted.

"Okay so we just need one more outfit and that should be us finished" Peter said with a smile as he scrolled through the pictures on his camera whilst MJ looked on from beside him.

"One more..." MJ said with a slight rosey tint to her cheeks before she was distracted by the camera and a photo of her in a ripped jeans, crimson tanktop and black leather jacket. "Ooohh that one came out so well!" MJ cheered momentarily distracted.

*KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK*

The sound of knocking on MJ's door resounded throughout the room and caused the two to look towards the door as Anna Watson opened the door and poked her head through.

"Hey you two, just letting you know me and May are heading out for lunch together so if you two go out make sure you remember to take a pair of keys Mary-Jane." Anna Watson said with a smile which MJ matched before nodding her head.

"Will do Aunt Anna don't worry, enjoy your lunch" MJ said as Peter nodded in agreement from beside her.

"Thank you dearies."

*CLICK*

The door clicked shut as Anna Watson left the room and headed down the stairs, the sound of her leaving the front door soon echoing back up into MJ's room. It was at this point htat the situation seemed to dawn on Peter.

'I'm in MJ's room, with her, in an empty house...' Que the beginnings of a blush as Peter's mind went to down the gutter no matter how hard he tried to reign it in.

"S-so, last outfit, I think I know what to do so could you step outside for a moment please Tiger?" MJ said with a slight blush along her cheeks.

"Huh? Yeah sorry." Peter said sheepishly as his mind was dragged from its dirty thoughts back to reality as he stepped outside the room.

It took quite a bit of time for MJ to change into this new outfit in Peters mind. 'Must be something complicated' He thought to himself as he rocked back and forth on the balls of his feet waiting for the seventh minute in a row.

"I'm ready, you can come in" MJ called from behind the door.

Peter opened the door relatively fast as he walked in looking down at his camera scrolling through the photos from todays shoot once again.

"I think you've got this in the bag MJ, you look amazing in these photos, there's no way you could do bett-" Whatever Peter was saying was cut off by his shock as his jaw dropped to the floor and a full body blush sprung to life on his person. Now why such a reaction you may ask? Well that's simple.

Standing somewhat nervously in the middle of the room, her face bright red was MJ clad in nothing but a black bikini. Try as he might Peter couldn't resist his eyes from roaming over the swell of her barely covered breasts, to her tight bikini bottom clad ass.

"W-What are you wearing!?" Peter said turning around with a massive blush to which MJ just coughed into her hand gently no doubt more embarrassed than he was, atleast he thought she should be.

"Well. It's a summer catalogue isn't it? And what's more summer than a swimsuit?" MJ explained the reasoning behind her decision and to be honest, Peter really couldn't fault that logic he just was finding it difficult actually meeting MJ's eyes rather than other pieces of her anatomy.

"I-I guess that's true." Peter said agreeing with her as he watched her walk over to the backdrop with baited breath.

"Ready Tiger?" MJ asked with a blush and a grin on her face as Peter got into position to start taking photos.

"Y-Yep" Peter said with a shaky breath as he tried to focus on the job before him, problem was his job was to stare and take pictures of a stunning redhead.

"Like what you see Tiger?" MJ said with a smile to which Peter could only nod and look away briefly which got a laugh out of MJ.

Standing infront of the white backdrop MJ started off with a classic pose, hands on the hips like Superman, everything barred for Peter to see as he took the first photo. The second pose was one hand on her hips and the other lightly cupping her chin as if in thought.

The third pose was of MJ looking over her shoulder towards the camera, her ass jutted out slightly to emphasise it. The fourth pose had MJ bend over with her hands together as if she was playing volleyball and dear gosh Peter was in heaven looking at the way the pose pushed her breasts together.

'This is what will do me in, not Doc Oc or Shocker, but MJ's boobs, what a way to go' Peter thought with a blush. This song and dance continued for another six poses until they'd both agreed that they'd gotten plenty of photo's for the day.

Peter waited outside the door once again for MJ to change back into her cozy weekend clothes before he came back in and the two spent the next hour or so going through all the photos from the last outfit, much to boths embarassment.

"I think you're a shoe in MJ, they'd be crazy to turn you down." Peter said supportively to his friend as they looked at pose four on the camera.

"You think so?" MJ asked with a hint of nervousness in her voice before it was quickly replaced with confidence upon seeing Peters reassuring smile. "Yeah you're right, with these photo's there's no way they can turn me down"

"That's the spirit!" Peter said with a laugh and smile which got him a big hug from the usually aloof redhead.

"Thank you Peter, today meant alot to me" MJ said into his shoulder to which Peter just smiled even wider.

"Anytime MJ, i'm just glad to help."
