A/N: Welcome back once again to another story written by you guessed it. Zephyr; me.

Instead of something NFLRZ/Brawl Stars related, we are going back to writing something I've never written in many years. Pokémon.

It's been at least 2 years since my latest Pokémon fanfic, so I wanted to write something related to the game besides other said fandoms. It's not Fakemon, nor an NFLRZ crossover, it's something more related to the game rather than that.

Now that's out of the way, let's get onto the story.

One of the wild areas in the Galar region suffer a thunderous and rainy night as grey clouds merge from the dark sky, raindrops by raindrops falling from it.

Several Pokémon ran to find a safe place from raindrops falling onto them to avoid getting wet. Some even evacuated outside their hiding spots, enjoying the rainy weather despite it being thunderous and somehow violent.

Groups of Bisharp walking around with content on their faces, a few sitting on the wet grassy floor from the rain water, and a colony of Galvantula looking around to make sure no underleveled Pokémon are at their premises.

Underleveled Pokémon like a happy-go-lucky Stufful, a ready-to-fight Pancham, or a scared Noibat, go near where overleveled Pokémon reside, and get attacked if they go near them.

One time, a Noibat was attacked by one of the flocks of Corviknight and unfortunately, it had to be taken back to the Pokémon Center to get its injuries taken care of. The flock was over level 70, and the Noibat wasn't able to fight them back yet. A Noivern of course would be able to take down a flock of Corviknight or Corvisquire, but an underleveled sound bat won't be able to fight off overleveled creatures yet.

The group of happy Purrloin running around were soon interrupted by the sound of steps and defeated grunting echoing just several miles away from the entrance to Hammerlocke Hills. The leopard-like Pokémon weren't sure what it looked like at first, but soon found out there was a wild Tyrogue, in near-fatal condition. Scratches from each projectile all over its body, burn marks on both his arms and torso, and a few blood drops fall from each wound it took.

It was severely wounded, and was just a few feet away before it was about to go unconscious. The shocked group of Purrloin watched the weak Tyrogue walk over to them, moments away before passing out. The small shiny leopard-like cat took notice of his condition, and immediately caught the scuffle Pokémon falling to his knees, eyes closing weakly.

The other was confused on what caused the Tyrogue to get attacked like this, but soon realized it'd gone off to the Lake of Outrage where overleveled Pokémon reside. Normally underleveled creatures would walk away unless they were trained and were just about the right level to do so, but rarely others go near their premises and train without any supervision.

A few underleveled Pokémon including the same Noibat earlier that month had to get treated at the Pokémon Center. Unfortunately, the group of Purrloin made no other choice but to take it back in order to get it treated.

The group cannot take the Tyrogue to the center so they decided to choose who can get their wounded treated. The shiny Purrloin meowed in response, deciding that it'll take the Tyrogue to the center to get it treated.

However, they believe that the center is just several miles away from here to Motostoke, so they decided to take it where it is safe so no other overleveled Pokémon can take the fighter away from everyone else.

As the shiny Purrloin proceeded to carry the weakened Tyrogue in both its arms, it soon left the clowder and disappeared in the distance. The others didn't even have a chance to say goodbye.

Once the Purrloin reached the Rolling Fields just a few feet away from the meetup spot, it gently placed the Tyrogue onto the soft bed of grass where most Pokémon sleep. The shiny cat-like being placed several berries it had just picked from a nearby tree towards the once-unconscious fighter. It took a few seconds only to regain its consciousness in front of the same shiny Pokémon he'd just seen earlier ago.

"Purr..!" The leopard Pokémon spoke as it waved a hand near the awakened Tyrogue. The fighter was confused to know what it looked like at first, but then took notice of its different features. Its fur was a saturated dark blue color with lavender eye markings that looked exactly like the inside of its ears. Its eyes are yellow, a super rare color according to a shiny a trainer doesn't see in their life. Mostly a shiny Purrloin has the same eye color as a regular Purrloin, but this one was different.

Its yellow cat-like eyes cannot stop staring at the Tyrogue who just woke up, bewildered at the sight of it. It seemed too exhausted to tell any more details of what the shiny Pokémon looked like nor what it was doing.

Thanking the Purrloin for taking it somewhere safe, it then offered the cat the same berry it offered the fighter earlier. The cat denied its request but soon thanked the Tyrogue for the offer.

As soon as the Tyrogue nibbled slowly on the peach-shaped berry, it's tastebuds soon we're invaded by the taste of citrus combined with apples in the real world. Smiling, the Tyrogue soon continued eating the berry until it was all gone.

It didn't feel like eating more but since it was still hungry, he wanted to eat at least one more berry before leaving. The shiny Purrloin didn't want the Tyrogue to leave so soon, because it was afraid the fighter might go through another fight like last time, so it had to keep an eye on the scuffle Pokémon.

Once the Tyrogue finished the berry, it watched the shiny Pokémon run away. It didn't understand what caused the Purrloin to run off, but soon realized a trainer was going on a shiny hunt. Not having a chance to save the Purrloin that was about to be chased by the trainer, it had other plans. Fight the trainer off and save the Purrloin instead.

"Damn it.. Where's that Purrloin I just saw earlier?!" The man yelled, soon getting Tyrogue's attention as it watched the human look around the wild area. It appeared to be familiar. He's not wearing a trainer hat or anything, instead he was wearing a safari hat. He was also seen sporting a brown vest with a white shirt under it, alongside cargo shorts.

It soon realized the man was about to capture Purrloin and take it to one of the Team Yell grunts. Not knowing the Purrloin was about to be treated unfairly by Team Yell, the Tyrogue soon ran towards the man, looking all over the area for the shiny Pokémon.

Taking notice of its features, the man soon turned around to look at the Pokémon that was pretending to be one of the shiny cats in order to distract him. "There you are.." The man growled, about to swing the net at the Pokémon.

As he was about to swing the net at the creature, the Tyrogue soon popped out of the bushes, headbutting him prior to finishing him off in one attack. Landing on both feet, he watched the catcher fall onto his knees, before landing onto the ground head-first, going unconscious. The Tyrogue knocked down the Poké-napper in one hit!

Letting out several cries to get the Purrloin's attention, it soon disappeared in the distance. He knew the shiny went back to its group in order to be safe from other catchers kidnapping Pokémon in favor of Team Yell.
