Several months have passed ever since the Tyrogue became the newest member of Zephyr's team. Not that many Pokémon he caught had evolved, but did catch some that are stronger enough to defeat his rival, Hop.

It was a very long journey for the fighter to go through several training sessions. Three visible scars on his back, an everstone necklace he appears to be wearing, and lastly one of Zephyr's childhood bandannas on his leg.

Originally he supposed to wear one on his arm, but ever since he'd suffered a horrible wound on his leg, unfortunately he had to cover up the damaged with the same bandana he was wearing on his arm instead.

Despite him at level 56, he was still not ready to let Zephyr fight up any stronger trainers just yet. The longer he trains, the stronger he gets. The only thing he hears from Zephyr everyday is to train as long as possible in order to fight off stronger Pokémon.

He'd fought off a Bisharp and attempted to escape from an Obstagoon when he was little, and now he's ready to fight off others at his level.

"Alright, Tyrogue! Finish him off with Jump Kick!" Zephyr bellowed, ordering the Pokémon to defeat the now-weakened opponent. Obeying his request, Tyrogue immediately jumped off the ground and delivered the Lucario with a brawny kick.

Sending the Jackal-like Pokémon flying until it soon plummeted onto the ground, Tyrogue landed on both his feet, eyeing the now-fainted being. "Great job, Ty!" The human cheered, congratulating the Tyrogue for all of his hard work.

"Lucario, return.." The trainer sighed, sending their Pokémon back into one of the pokéballs they'd kept long ago. "Zephyr, great battle.. Hopefully we'll try again next time."

"My pleasure.." Zephyr nodded, putting a hand onto Tyrogue's shoulder. "My Tyrogue sure fights like a true rebel he really is!"

"Sure he is, Zephyr. I'm sure your Pokémon is getting stronger every time you battle with him!" Holding the pokéball in their hand, they soon store the device back into their bags. "Besides, if your Tyrogue trains hard enough, it'll become even more stronger than before!"

That's enough to take down Leon's Charizard, but not enough to fight the champion's other Pokémon. Zephyr's team may be strong enough to defeat Hop, but most of them aren't strong enough to defeat Leon.

"Maybe when my team is strong enough, hopefully I'll defeat him in no time!" Despite all of his Pokémon nearly at level 60, Zephyr currently plans on training his team a bit longer in order to take over the undefeated champion's reign.

"Now that's the spirit!" The human cheerfully responded, putting their hands onto Zephyr's shoulders. "The more you train them, the better your Pokémon get!"

Nodding, Zephyr then carried the Tyrogue in both arms. "Promise I'll train them for as long as possible!"

Back at the camp, Oakley and Inteleon were both seen chatting. His Ninetails, walking around. Alongside Noivern and his Gallade racing with each other, Tyrogue stood silently, watching other Pokémon play around. He wasn't sure he'll be ready to fight off Leon just yet, nor never will.

"Hey, Little Ty." The trainer spoke to the Tyrogue, watching other of the his Pokémon chat and play together. "Something wrong?"

"T-Ty..Tyrooo.." The Pokémon sighed, eyes darting back at his trainer. The Tyrogue wasn't sure if he is strong enough to defeat Leon's Pokémon team just yet, and in fact, he wasn't. "Well, Ty. In fact you're not strong enough to defeat Leon, maybe I could train you some more so you'll be able to defeat him in no time!"

That motivated the Tyrogue. The longer he trains, the better he gets. "Not most of my team ain't strong enough including you can defeat Leon, but the longer I train all of you guys, the stronger you'll get!"

The human trainer rummaged through his bag before pulling out a focus sash. "You need this JUST in case.." Tyrogue was given what appeared to be a red ribbon with an orange gradient onto it. "If you protect yourself from a critical attack, you might endure each hit before it breaks down!" Using the focus sash given by the Tyrogue might help him endure a critical hit made by a Pokémon.

"Tyrooo!" He stood up, and gave Zephyr a hug, thanking him for the gift. For some reason, he suddenly started to start a friendship with him. "Y-You're welcome, little guy!"

Breaking the hug, Tyrogue soon went back to chatting with other of his Pokémon friends. With the focus sash attached to his arm, Zephyr wonders what he'll evolve into. Watching the fighter chat with his Boltund, he pictured himself with a Hitmonchan, training with each other. Wondering his Hitmonchan would defeat Leon's Charizard soon enough, he was worried that it won't be strong enough to do so. Another picture of Zephyr with his Hitmonlee made him smile a bit, but still, was worried that he would get defeated in a matter of time. Without any other choices, he pictured himself with his Hitmontop, both training together. "C'mon, Hitmontop! Use that rapid spin of yours!"

The Hitmontop smiled, and used his attack as Zephyr told him to. Ending the sequence with a loud bark from Oakley, he soon sprung up in a flash. He darted his eyes back at his Boltund, waiting for his response. "Ohh, sorry, Oakley. I-I was just..uhh..I was just daydreaming." Zephyr replied, looking back at the Tyrogue standing next to it.

Oakley lets out a slight bark, believing that Tyrogue shall be trained long enough. Thinking that his Pokémon would be able to fight off the champion's Charizard, he suddenly came up with a better idea. "So Ninetails is strong against Rillaboom, and Dragapult is weak against Fairy Type moves, so that means that Tyrogue might learn some rock type moves to take down that Charizard!"

And soon after, Tyrogue stopped and looked back at Zephyr. "R-Rock type moves?" The fighter thought to himself. As a fighting type Pokémon himself, he wasn't able to learn any rock type moves unless being told to. "Yes! Rock type moves, Oakley! If Tyrogue's moves are strong enough to take down Charizard, we might be able to take his throne as being the champion!"

Oakley barked excitedly, giving Tyrogue kisses in the process. "Make sure to keep other Pokemon on watch while I'll train Tyrogue!" Once Zephyr headed out of the camp with Tyrogue, his Boltund barked, thinking to herself. "I'll promise to be on watch, Master!"
