Disclaimer: I do not own anything other than the characters I have personally created.
A/N: So I recently was contacted by one of my readers and they asked me why I included OCs that obviously weren't in the MK universe or RWBY. Well there is an obvious reason for that in regards to the MK portion; Raiden changed the timeline much more than was expected in either canon. I won't say anything other than that for now as it would give away massive spoilers for what's going to happen.

-Ansel, Southern Entrance-
.
When Glynda Goodwitch had left help aid in the defense of the Ansel Settlement she had prepared herself to find the worst possible outcome by the time they had arrived. The calls for aid had been frantic and pleading, it was something that she had heard several times before, especially during the Fall of Mountain Glenn. Given the nature of the call for aid and the how many Grimm were assailing the settlement she had expected that Ansel had either been breached and was in the process of being overrun or already was and she and everyone else was about to see the end results of a massacre.
She had been completely and utterly mistaken.
By the time that the relief force from Beacon had arrived, the settlement had been reinforced by a group of unknown individuals that were using weapons and vehicles that were very different in comparison to…well just about anything that was in use, especially by the Atlesian military. It didn't even remotely look like the APCs that Atlas was using, as even Atlas hadn't put such large weaponry on its vehicles.
There was something strange here and she had every intention on finding out what.
Glynda looked around to see if she could spot someone who might have been in charge of this group of soldiers when she spotted someone making her way towards her. It was one of the soldiers, and a relatively young looking one at that, though she wasn't dressed in the same outfit that the rest of them were. In fact she seemed to be much younger as well, she could easily pass for a second year at Beacon at the age she was in.
She had dark skin and had her hair in a cornrow style and had a rifle slung along her back and had a pair of gauntlets that reminded Glynda quite a bit of Miss Xiao-Long's own weapons. The young woman gave an Atlesian styled salute before relaxing "Miss Goodwitch?" She asked.
Glynda waited for a moment or two before she responded with an affirmative "Yes."
"I'm Corporal Briggs, I've been ordered to bring you to Captain Faulkner, he figured you'd want to meet with him directly, he'll explain everything." The soldier then gestured behind her, towards the entrance to the settlement, to show where her commanding officer was waiting. The pair then began to make their way to Captain Faulkner and hopefully Glynda would get some answers in regards to the group that had seemingly shown up out of nowhere to defend a settlement.
As Glynda joined Lance Corporal Briggs, she took in her surroundings, the soldiers that were defending the area were now securing the area, primarily in the area where the breach had occurred. Glynda made a mental note to use her semblance to repair the wall before she left. She also noted that there were several of their number tending to the wounded militiamen and civilians. The most notable of the group of militiamen was actually the father and a former student of beacon several years ago shortly after she became a teacher at Beacon, and coincidentally was also the father of one of her new students.
Her suspicions as to who these people were continued to build even as she passed through the entrance to the settlement. On the outside were several heavily armored and armed vehicles whose weapon barrels were still smoking from their usage. In fact some of them were practically glowing red.
Almost immediately Glynda spotted what she suspected to be this 'Captain Faulkner' of this armed band judging by his fatigues, along with his rather commanding presence. That and how all of the other soldiers seemed to completely defer to him made his rank rather obvious. The pair approached the Captain and Corporal Briggs snapped a crisp salute that would have made the sternest of Atlesian soldiers proud and said "Captain, I've brought Ms. Goodwitch as ordered."
The Captain turned to address his subordinate "At ease Corporal, now go rejoin the rest of your team, we need to finish up here ASAP." Corporal Briggs didn't waste any time and turned back to head inside the settlement. When the soldier started jogging her way back, the leader of the group turned his attention over to Glynda and said "Thanks for the save back there Miss Goodwitch things were getting a little rough."
Glynda nodded "You're welcome and thank you for your timely assistance Captain Faulkner, I was concerned that the reinforcements from Beacon were only coming to clean up after a massacre."
There was an uncomfortable silence for a few moments before Faulkner coughed before speaking again "Well I'm just glad my boys and I managed to get here when we did."
"As am I, but I am curious, just who are you people?" Glynda asked.
Captain Faulkner blinked in confusion before he composed himself "Well we're a private military company, we're called Nimbus Security Solutions or NSS for short, I'm certain you've heard of our company name at least."
Unfortunately she didn't recognize the name at all. Apparently Faulkner seemed to notice when she didn't say anything "We've been doing a lot of anti-Grimm work in Western Sanus and even in Anima. Are you sure you haven't heard anything. I mean we paid a lot of money on ads lately so someone high up must have seen at least one of them."
Glynda shook her head even as Faulkner fished out his scroll and turned it on showing a large pillar of smoke beyond a dune in a desert and what sounded like screaming. Then what sounded like footfalls and panting could be heard as the camera zoomed out to show a group of soldiers, similarly dressed as the ones that had come to save the town running towards the noise and the smoke. Above them were several bullheads that were flying in that very same direction. It was at that point that a deeply voiced narrator started speaking "There are a few who move towards the sounds of chaos…"
The scene cut to a pair of Bullheads flying above the scene for a moment with the doors open and machineguns mounted on the doors, each soldier was scanning the ground for targets. At that point the narration picked up again "…ready to respond at a moment's notice."
Once again the scene cut to several of the same armored vehicles moving their way up the hill before stopping. Then the screen turned black for a moment before the sounds of rifles being cocked could be heard and light filled the room where several more of the soldiers were waiting. Then the ramps of the vehicles opened and the soldiers poured out, several of whom were yelling "Go, go, go!"
The narration picked up once again even as the scenes changed between the soldiers, vehicles and aircraft rushing forwards, while trucks with boxes carrying the word "Aid" written on them were following close behind, "And when the time comes they are the first to respond to the sounds of tyranny, injustice and despair!"
The soldiers continued to surge forwards as the narrator continued as it focused on one particular soldiers face, who was intensely focused as he directed his men towards the foe "They are forged in the crucible of training, they are the few, the proud…The Nimbus!"
And just like that the logo of the PMC was shown on the screen, a triangular shaped cloud with a lightning bolt being shot out of it, with the words "Which way would you run?" being displayed prominently underneath.
Glynda cocked an eyebrow at the rather interesting advertisement for the company but still she had never heard of them before. She'd have to bring this up with Ozpin, perhaps he James had heard of this group before. "I'm sorry but I've never seen or heard of you before."
Faulkner seemed to deflate slightly at her words and sighed, "Somehow I kind of figured, most of our operations take place in some pretty remote areas that Hunters aren't usually in, and…well sometimes people don't like to advertise that they've hired PMCs rather than more…internationally recognized hunters. I mean I know there have been some pretty dirty mercs out there that like to give the rest of us a bad name."
Glynda supposed that could be true but still she needed to know why such a group was so close to Vale and carrying such heavy equipment. "May I ask why you are out here, were you hired by the Vale council or is this something else?" she asked.
The captain seemed to hesitate for a moment or two before answering "Honestly, it's something else. We were already on our way to Vale from a previous deployment, but usually we don't get too close to the cities with our heavy equipment, it tends to make the locals a bit nervous. We were just delivering some of our operatives to Vale when we heard the distress call and figured we could help."
Ozpin's de-facto second-in-command seemed mildly surprised by this admission but the mercenary soon seemed to notice this and immediately waved it off "Yeah, yeah, I know 'some mercenaries probably wouldn't have gotten involved if they didn't think that they'd be paid for it.' Well most of us probably wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if we just left these people out here to die."
Glynda liked to think that she was a decent judge of character considering all her years as a teacher and it appeared as though the man in front of her was being utterly sincere with his words.
Still though she needed to know exactly why this man and his forces were really out here, "I don't mean to sound apprehensive but I still need to know what exactly you're doing so close to Vale with such…heavy equipment."
The captain had the good graces to look at least somewhat sheepish at how the situation looked "Well like I said, we just got contracted for a job and we were heading out to Vale to drop off a team that would carry it out. I can't say too much without breaking a lot of non-disclosure agreements we signed when we took this job."
She supposed that made at least some sense but before she could let this 'team' carry out their 'job' she needed to know what that job was were. Not only that but she would need to inform both Ozpin and the Council of these individuals. And that was to say nothing of James' reaction to this group. The General may have always had the best of intentions but he had a habit of…overreacting.
"You're likely going to have to explain a few things about this mission of yours before your 'team' will be allowed into Vale and it's likely that we will provide the Bullheads for them to enter. I very much doubt that the Council will even consider allowing you to bring in such vehicles into Vale."
The captain shrugged "Figured as much, but I'll probably have to contact my bosses and see what I'm allowed to say, confidentiality agreements and all that."
Somehow Glynda knew that was going to be the case.

-Inside Ansel-
.
Ruby wasn't drooling over the weapons and equipment that these strange people had brought with them. If anyone said that then they were lying. She was just, eh, enthusiastic…yeah that was it, enthusiastic when it came to new weapons and equipment. There was nothing wrong with that.
That was why she was walking over to the soldiers that had helped protect the town against the Grimm to thank them for helping the people, it wasn't just to get a better look at the weapons because she wasn't running up like the weapon's nut her older sister had always claimed she was. Instead she was walking up to them relatively slowly and calmly and not using her semblance to rush over. The fact that her eyes were going over every weapon they had on hand was just a coincidence.
"You're going over there to look at their weapons aren't you?" asked Yang with a cheeky grin on her face. Ruby fought to keep the red from overtaking her face. She was losing. Badly.
"N-no I was just going to meet the people who helped keep the town safe!" she insisted looking to her other teammates for some support. Weiss was massaging her temples with her thumb and index finger and muttered "dolt," while Blake simply shook her head.
"Traitors…" Ruby's silver eyes were wide and her mouth hanging agape in horror "I've been betrayed by my own team," she declared with a high pitched keening noise. Her sister just rolled her eyes at the over-the-top display but it was clearly half-hearted.
Still though they didn't have to wait for much longer as the group that they had found defending the inside of the town was heading directly towards them.
When they approached, Ruby got a much better look at the group of them. Most were wearing a getup that were pretty similar to the other soldiers that were guarding the walls but there were three that wore much different, in fact they looked like they were wearing something that wouldn't look too out of place in Mistral.
One of the group, a blonde with relatively short hair and with a grin on her face that reminded Ruby all too much of Yang spoke up "Thanks for the help, it was getting kinda crazy back there."
Ruby gave the group an almost gushing look "You guys were awesome!" She all but cried out. Weiss once again started massaging her temples while muttering 'dolt' to herself.
One of their number, the one with the strange-looking staff/bow cocked an eyebrow before looking over at one of his friends and with a smirk said "See Glacier, I told you I was awesome,"
At that 'Glacier' put a hand to his masked face, massaging his temples in mock exasperation and said "Thank you, he's going to be insufferable for weeks now."
The group shared a small chuckle at that. One of the group, one that Ruby recognized as one of the people who was fighting off that Beringel "Thanks for the compliment, and for the help back there. I'm Sergeant Cassandra Cage of Nimbus Security Solutions but I'd appreciate it if you'd call me Cassie." The young woman then gestured to her friends and proceeded to introduce them, gesturing at each one as she did.
"This is the rest of my team. This is Lance Corporal Jacqueline Briggs but she prefers Jacqui…" she gestured at the dark skinned woman with a similar pair of bracers that Yang used. Jacqui gave Yang's gauntlets a one over "Nice gloves, they use twelve gauge?" she asked while Yang gave a big toothy grin, "Yep, and they can go semi-or full auto, gives 'em a bit of punch. Yours?"
Blake let out a resigned sigh while Weiss once again rubbed her temples with her right hand's thumb and index finger. Ruby meanwhile waited in excited anticipation to hear what Jacqui's weapons were able to do.
"Same, but I can swap 'em out for a pair that fire 5.56mm rounds in case I need something with a little more distance than right in front of me."
It was at that point that Ruby noticed a taller guy with greying brown hair that with a pair of sunglasses walking over to Yang with a serious look that reminded Ruby a little too much of Glynda Goodwitch. "Ma'am I'm afraid that I'm going to have to inform you that you'll be called into court for copyright infringement. You've clearly stolen Miss Briggs' weapon designs and replicated them for your own personal purposes without permission or offering compensation. As such you are facing massive financial…pfffft, hahahaha, ahhh I can't do it! Oh don't look at me like that I meant it as a joke!"
Cassie sighed before looking at the tall middle-aged man with as flat a look as she could manage (while lamenting the fact her father was the one who made the comment and not her) and said "And this brilliant example of a stand-up comedian would be my dad, Johnny Cage."
Johnny gave a smile and waved "Yo."
At that moment Ruby thought of her uncle Qrow and despite only knowing Cassie's father for a few seconds, she just knew that he and her uncle would get along perfectly. She and Yang both looked at one another and resolved to do whatever they had to make sure that never happened. If they did then the whole universe would probably implode.
Cassie then gestured over to the more, strangely dressed individuals in her group.
"These are some of our other friends, meet Kung-Jin, Takeda Takahashi and Glacier." Glacier gave a curt nod from his concealed face while Takeda and Kung-Jin were more open and offered similar greetings to that of her teammates.
Cassie then turned to the guy that they had seen protecting the civilians when they first arrived "And last but not least this is Corporal Alex Stone, he's the guy who just took down that Beowolf singlehanded."
Alex let out a sigh and said "The thing had already pounced on me Sergeant and after I finally managed to kill the damn thing it collapsed on top of me."
"Details, details. Now go on and say hello Corporal."
Alex just smiled at his team leader and followed his 'orders' and waved "hello," he said lamely at first causing Cassie to narrow her eyes at him somewhat playfully. Alex rolled his eyes at his team leader playfully before turning back to the group that had saved his hide earlier "Thanks for the help back there, uh I don't think I got your names yet though."
Ruby and her team then proceeded to introduce themselves.
"I'm Ruby Rose and I'm the leader of team RWBY." She said causing the group of people they had just met to look at one another before Cassie looked at the diminutive girl with a cocked eyebrow, "Doesn't that get confusing?" Ruby's fellow team leader asked.
Ruby shrugged "Sometimes, but a lot less than you'd think."
The hooded girl then proceeded to introduce the other members of her team to the NSS operatives. Blake was cordial but guarded as she usually was, her older sister Yang was more…outgoing, trying to compare her Ember Celica gauntlets with the ones that Jacqui was using.
Weiss meanwhile was speaking with Alex Stone who seemed curious about a few things, "Thanks again for the save back there. You were using Gravity Dust right? Enough to slow down the momentum enough so you wouldn't crash into the ground and damage your aura? But not enough that your sword wouldn't fail to completely punch through that thing's skin?" he asked.
"Actually it was a combination of Gravity Dust and my Semblance. You saw those glyphs right before I struck the Grimm correct?"
Alex nodded before saying "To be perfectly honest, there was a part of me that was wondering if I hadn't gotten a concussion from that damn Beowolf crashing on me after I killed it. I take it that those were your doing?"
Weiss nodded and proceeded to explain her semblance to him and much to her surprise he didn't really seem to either know about the Schnee semblance or even who she was, or at the very least didn't really seem to care.
It was strange but she intended to ask him about that but suddenly a certain someone that team RWBY had met before interrupted everyone's conversations.
"Salutations friend Ruby!" immediately the crimson clad huntress in-training turned around and saw a certain ginger haired girl that Ruby had met a few weeks ago speeding right towards her. Ruby's silver eyes barely had a second to widen in surprise and alarm before Penny slammed right into her, knocking her off her feet and onto the ground.
Penny was much stronger than she looked as had a vice-like grip over Ruby's body "It's so good to see you again!" she all but shouted.
"Good, to see you too Penny…can't breathe," she managed to get out which seemed to get the other girl's attention as she let go and helped Ruby up off the ground with an awkward look on her face.
At that little declaration, Penny sheepishly let go of the friend she had unknowingly been crushing and allowed her to get up off of the ground. Ruby took in several deep breaths to try and fill her lungs back up with air.
Once Ruby had managed to get her breathing back under control she turned to her new acquaintances' and introduced the girl who was ludicrously strong for her size.
As the Ruby introduced the ginger to the NSS soldiers, Blake noticed that one of the newcomers, Glacier began to grow more and more agitated for some reason.

"Always vigilant," that was something that Grand Master Sub-Zero of the Lin Kuei had drilled into Glacier's head ever since he had become an official member of the clan after its reformation. It was a saying that was self-explanatory, one had to be always watchful, not just for foes but also at any detail, even if it was something that was seemingly insignificant. Of course with the experiences he had in his youth in China, it wasn't one that really needed to be driven in too much.
He remembered his childhood in Shang-Hai and knew by experience that if one didn't be vigilant, they wouldn't be around for very long. During that time he knew how to watch for things that most people couldn't wouldn't normally be able to observe, even well trained soldiers like his allies in the Special Forces.
Thus when that 'girl' appeared and Ruby made a show of introducing her friend Glacier was able to spot something very small but at the same time it was clear as day to someone of his skills. Penny Polendina wasn't breathing properly. In Glacier's experience this sort of thing only happened in one of three groups of people; the undead, machines, and those that had been heavily cyberized.
Given that the entity in front of him had no obvious signs of cyberization –though he could be mistaken as her cybernetics could be under her clothing which covered up much of her skin- Glacier concluded that the…thing in front of him was an android. The Lin Kuei warrior's hands began to clench into fists and his knuckles turn white.
The mechanical abomination in front of him walked up and extended a hand with what it probably assumed was a friendly/happy smile. But Glacier saw it for what it was, a disgusting farce that made a mockery of what only a living being could do.
Noticing Glacier's body language Cassie asked "Glacier, you alright?" That managed to break Glacier out of his hate-induced trance. Glacier found that his teammates were all staring at him with concern etched on each of their faces. The Lin Kuei warrior cleared his throat before speaking "My apologies. I was, lost in thought. Excuse me, I should check in with the captain."
Glacier began walking away, confident that even if the cyborg or android were to reveal just what it truly was, his teammates would be able to handle it with relative ease. Still though, he began to make plans to 'disassemble' the abomination should the opportunity presented itself.
"Well that was weird, is he always like that?" said Yang causing everyone to just turn to look at her with blank expressions in response. "What?" She asked in confusion.
.
.
Near Ansel's walls another meeting was taking place and one that a certain team leader was hoping that he would be able to put off for just a little bit longer. Jaune was standing directly in front of his father, Nicholas Arc who had crossed his arms in front of him, and had a very, very, very unamused look on his face.
"Hello, Jaune," stated the Arc family patriarch in a cold voice, behind which was barely contained anger towards his son.
"H-h-hi dad." Said Jaune with a sheepishly embarrassed smile that took all of his self-control to not allow it to turn into a look of pure, unadulterated horror at the figure of death standing right in front of him.
"'Hi'?" Nicholas Arc repeated in a menacing tone, his left eyebrow raised. "I was hoping for a bit more than just a 'hi' after the little stunt you pulled. Do you know how worried we all were when you just disappeared with only a little note saying that you were running off to Beacon to become a Huntsman? I was going to run after you and drag you back but your mother said you deserved a shot, though she also said she wanted to have more than a few words with you the second you showed your face here."
It was then that all color left Jaune's face, he reached forwards and grabbed his father's shoulders and begged "Please, tell me that she doesn't know I'm here," he managed to get out. Jaune knew that while his dad was death incarnate when suitably angry, the matriarch of the family was a million times worse when she was set off.
Almost as soon as the words left Jaune's mouth, his father started to give a rather sinister looking smile and footsteps could be heard behind him and Jaune turned around to see his Juniper Arc, his mother looking at him with a mixture of bemusement, irritation, and relief. And Jaune knew that the only way this could get any worse was if his sisters were to make an appearance, or the Grimm. Though considering the situation, Jaune would have to say that he would have preferred the Grimm to interrupt the impromptu family reunion.
Upon seeing his mother, whatever color was left on Jaune's face had fled "H-hi mom."
"Hello Jaune, now I think there are a few things we should discuss in private regarding you recent…educational decisions," she said, her voice sickeningly sweet as her demeanor changed to one of complete and utter menace, which was only exacerbated by the smile that was equally as cavity inducing as her voice.
Jaune's whole demeanor shifted even as his mother grabbed ahold of his shoulders, preventing any kind of escape while Jaune seemed to be sweating profusely while his eyes widened in utter horror.
Using all of his willpower Jaune managed to avert his eyes from what was quite possibly certain doom and towards his teammates, looking for any kind of help. Mrs. Arc then turned her attention to the rest of the team, "And just who are they? Are they you're new friends, or are one of the ladies here more than just that?"
For a brief second Jaune wondered whether or not his mother was messing with him or serious. He suspected that it was probably a bit of both knowing her, and how she had would on occasion not-so-subtly imply that she wanted grandbabies sooner rather than later. "They're just my friends and teammates mom," he insisted.
What Jaune didn't notice was how Pyrrha's face started to turn as scarlet as her hair the second his mother made that comment, something that Juniper immediately picked up on. Nora meanwhile simply shook her head "Sorry but fearless leader is just a friend. Besides if I was to give too much love and affection towards someone other than Ren he'd get jealous. Renny's so sweet like that!"
Ren sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger, long since used to this kind of display from his childhood friend, while everyone else looked appraisingly at the young man. Yes, clearly he was someone who needed constant care and attention…
However Juniper smiled and let out a small laugh and had a smile that seemed entirely too cheery, it was one that Jaune knew all too well, "Well then perhaps the three of you would like to join in on the…family reunion? I would certainly like to meet Jaune's new friends." While it was phrased as a question it was all too clear to team JNPR that it would be a bad idea to even think about refusal.
Of course while one of their number was clearly nervous about meeting Jaune's parents –even more so than the most of the team- this was a chance she simply couldn't pass up.
.
-Arc Household, Living Room-
.
Pyrrha really didn't know what to really expect when she saw the home of Jaune Arc. She knew that she wouldn't expect some sort of mansion or something similar, instead it was probably more just a relatively larger than average house. Though considering how Jaune stated that he had seven sisters, it did make sense that they would need to have a home large enough to accommodate a family of that size. So maybe it made much more sense than it initially appeared.
The very instant that they were through the door, Jaune was all but mobbed by a group of blonde haired girls. Two were obviously younger than he was, but the others were clearly older. The younger two had been the first to reach Jaune and had practically lunged onto him. The younger of the two was clinging onto him like a lifeline while the slightly older one was at least a little gentler.
The youngest of the group was constantly bombarding Jaune with questions, so quickly in fact that Jaune couldn't get so much as a word in. However it was possible for one make out a couple of words in-between her frenzied questioning. When the rest of team JNPR saw this particular girl they wondered whether or not Nora had some long lost relatives in the Arc family.
The other girl however was much less outgoing compared to her younger sibling and instead of the literal barrage of questions that her younger sibling she simply contented herself with hugging him and saying that "I'm glad you're okay big brother."
It was clear that the poor girl was on the verge of tears because of how worried she'd been over him. It was then that it truly hit Jaune just how much he had worried his family when he had run off. Granted he knew that they were concerned, Jaune wasn't that oblivious –most of the time at least- but he hadn't really expected this from his two younger sisters.
Even the reaction from his older siblings wasn't what he had expected, though it was similar to his two younger sisters. Their emotions mostly ranged from either relieved to happy or in the case of Coral, curiously amused, one that only grew when she lay eyes on Pyrrha for some reason, and given his older sister's…personality and her rather…risqué novels she wrote, Jaune really shouldn't have let his teammates into the house, or within eyesight of his family. At. All.
After a few minutes Jaune's younger sisters finally calmed down…for the most part. Now it was time for the older siblings to get their own two cents in the matter.
"So, it seems as though all the talk about you going to Beacon no matter what wasn't just talk after all," said one of his older sisters, this one was Sable the twin sister of Coral who was sharing a knowing look with her twin. It was something that didn't escape the notice of the other members of team JNPR but they didn't inquire into the matter, even Nora didn't ask anything, though that was more due to how her childhood friend had his hand over her mouth to keep her from impulsively asking what would likely be a personal question.
Another of Jaune's sisters looked too and smirked at her sibling while holding her hand out expectantly "Told you he would make it in. So cough it up." Sable sighed and pulled out a wad of cash before passing it to the one who requested the money, "Fine Hazel, bleed me dry why don't ya…" she grumbled.
The unsurprised look that Jaune gave to his sisters told Pyrrha that this kind of display was nothing out of the ordinary for them.
At this point Jaune's father cleared his throat to gain everyone's attention "Alright everyone, I think that it's time that Jaune and his parents have a bit of a private chat regarding his recent choices."
Jaune gulped but he seemed willing to at the very least make the attempt to speak with his parents on the matter. He was about to step forwards when he felt a reassuring hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw Pyrrha smiling at him "You can do this," she said reassuringly. Jaune smiled and said "Thanks Pyr."
The only son of Juniper and Nicholas Arc followed his parents into an adjacent room and shut the door forebodingly behind them.
To be continued.
A/N: So yeah a bit of a filler chapter. I've never really been all that great at writing those but they are necessary for what will happen in the future.
One of the problems I had with the early seasons of RWBY (despite their vast superiority over most of what happened after the third) after Jaune revealed that he had essentially cheated his way into Beacon was that there was no real meeting with his parents to discuss his…career choices and the actions he had taken to achieve them at all. I mean I assume something happened with them in between seasons 1 and 2 because shouldn't they be worried about him running off to try and join Beacon? I mean I assume that's what happened because it seems like the most likely scenario, at least in my head.
