Finn had an excellent plan ready to go! Well, he had an okay plan that might work. Actually, he had the framework of a plan that was probably going to get him, and Keel killed. Or it might not! Finn was the kind of guy that always look to the bright side of things so the simple might was enough for him.

"Come on Owl don't fail me now." Finn said. Opening Owl's interface and selecting the gadget from the menu.

[This one? Are you sure it will help?]Owl asked.

"Probably, Maybe." Finn said. "If not, we go with the old dependable never fails backup plan."

"Backup plan? What is the backup plan?" Keel asked.

"Beat everybody up." Finn answered with a wide, if a bit bloodthirsty, grin.

"I like that plan." Keel said a matching grin on her face. "Can't we just do that?"

"After we get inside." Finn allowed. His arm warmed slightly as the Digi-resin gathered in his palm. The gray clay goo material shifted and changed into four discs the likeness of a hockey puck. Except these were made out of metal with a wire mesh center. He tossed the pucks out into the distance.

"What are those?" Keel asked as she shot him a questioning look at the action. Finn gave her a mischievous smile in response but didn't answer her question.

"Owl, tell me if anything spots us." Finn commanded, crouching in the tree he pointed at Keel then at his back. "Hop on."

Keel grumbled a bit but did as she was told. Wrapping her arms around his neck and legs around his waist, Keel secured herself to Finn's back. Hopping in place to get used to feel of the extra weight of Keel. Satisfied Finn lept from the tree and landed back in the grass without making a sound. Moving forward he dashed from tree to tree as stealthy as he could. Slowly Finn made his way towards the mansion.

Keel swallowed a sound of protest as fear of being spotted kept her silent. All she could do was clutch onto Finn even tighter, doing her best to stifle her trembling.

With Owl guiding him Finn made it past those patrolling the ground to the space between the woods and the wall. Forty yards separated Finn from the wall, he grinned he could make it.

"Get ready." He said.

"For what?" Keel asked.

"This." Finn stated as he tapped his arm activating the devices.

From behind him the loudest most unholy cacophony of sound erupted. Animalistic roars, discordant singing, and gibberish screams rang out in the woods. The noise was so load it reached the mansion and beyond. Immediately the guards in the woods rushed towards it shouting warnings and alarms.

The doors of the main gate opened as even more guards poured out rushing towards the sounds. Shouting at the tops of their lungs to be heard over the song.

"What is this?" Keel hissed covering her ears. To her enhanced hearing the noise was like knives in the ears.

"Bluetooth speakers and one of Marceline's songs played at max volume and on loop." Finn replied, he had a smile on his face and his head bobbed slightly to the beat of the bass.

"This is a song!" Keel screamed at the same time a high pitch wail emanated from the woods. Keel's ears went flat at the noise and several Guardia moaned in pain.

"She said it was Heavy Metal." Finn pointed out.

"I hate it!" Keel shrieked not even thinking to ask who Marceline is.

"Come on, we should be good to go now." Finn said.

Most of the guards were already in the woods searching for the source of the sound. Finn had positioned the two of them as far away from the devices as he could to avoid as many of them as they could.

"Hope this works." Finn muttered as he made his way towards the wall and started to climb. No one spot him as he did, so the plan was working so far. It wasn't well maintained so there were plenty of footholds for him to grab on to. Working quickly Finn scaled the wall in 5 minutes. He then lept down from the wall rolling as he hit the ground making sure to protect Keel as he did so. Getting to his feet quickly Finn rushed forward towards the mansion. Dropping Keel as he ran Finn didn't stop moving towards the mansion.

His target was the manor doors, he burst through them quickly with Keel huffing out of breath following behind him. The moment they were through Finn slammed the doors shut and sealed them with gum.

Turning around Finn saw that they were in an extravagant entrance hall.

The first thing that caught Finn's eyes was the large formal painting of Idol Rabier, it rested above a large staircase that led up to the second floor. On the floor rested mosaic tiles depicting Battlefield between two armies, one human and the other demi-human. Above them gem encrusted chandeliers lit up the place. The casual display of wealth was annoying.

Keel growled at the painting.

"No time to gawk don't know how long we got till they figure out what's going on let's go." Finn said moving further into the mansion.

"But wait?" Keel said stopping Finn in his tracks. "Aren't we going to have to fight them to get away?"

"Yeah." Finn agreed. "But it would be best if we can get to your friends trapped here and make sure they are safe before we kick things off."

"Oh." Keel muttered, she had not considered that.

"Fights are more than just your level Keel. You got to use what's in here." Finn tapped his head. "Just as much as what's in here." Finn tapped his arm. "Learned that stuff the hard way."

They made their way through the manor where the dungeon should be. Owl continued to guide them through the place keeping them from getting lost several times. Eventually they found themselves at a thick heavy steel door. Finn tried to opened it, but it was locked.

So, Finn cut through it. His sword making quick work of it.

Beneath the door was a staircase wide enough for two people to walk side by side, which led downward into the dungeon. The sides of the staircase had sconces with lit candles in them.

[I could have opened that.]Owl said, her monotone voice had a hint of annoyance to it.

"Really?"

[I come with a set of lockpicks.]Owl pointed out.

"You really should say these things sooner." Finn admonished her.

"Okay we need to..." Finn turned to Keel but she just dived past him into the staircase ignoring me. "… or we just do that."

[You really should say these things sooner.]Owl pointed out with just a hint of mockery in her voice.

"Hah." Finn snarked back.

Dropping a drone at the entranceFinn hurried after Keel. The moment he took a step down the stairs the smells hit him. It was faint in the stale air, but they were smells Finn recognized. The coppery scent of blood and shit. It made him pause in his steps as a sudden trepidation kept him from seeing what was at the bottom of the stairs.

An anguished scream came up from the stairwell, with such intensity that it made Finn's blood turn cold.

Finn rushed down the stairs. The stairs ended in a F- shaped hallway, with him standing at the bottom of the F. Roughhewn stone walls were interpose with steel barred cell doors. The scream came from the end of the hall.

Moving towards the screaming Finn caught a glance at what was in the first cell. It was bare, with chains attached to the walls. In one corner were a pile of rags and the other an overfilled chamber pot. Finn was about to keep going when a glint of white in the rags had him taking a second look. It wasn't just the rags either, something white lay scattered on the cell floor. He stared at the white things until his mind told him what he was looking at. Bone fragments littered along the ground, picked clean of flesh, and thoroughly chewed on. The more intact bones looked to belong to someone as old as Keel.

Finn kept moving forward, each cell he passed revealing a new victim. Some were in the same condition as the first, while others still had some meat left on their bodies. Their faces contorted into expressions of pain and fear.

They were probably still alive when the Guardia were let loose on them. Finn realized. Looking closely Finn noticed something extremely alarming.

None of them had look older than eleven.

Some, thank Glob, were still alive. Finn pulled his remaining amount of Digi-resin from his Inventory and Owl without Finn even asking was used it to construct medical drones to watch over them. They were only capable of basic first aid, but at this point even a little bit helped.

Finn thought he knew hate, thought that he had seen the worst the world had to offer. He had met the literal worse of the worse, and none of them would done something like this. Well, no there were a few he could think of that could sink this low. But even they would have had a purpose in doing so.

This was pure sadism.

Finn tried to force his emotions to calm, he failed. His blood was pulling into his ears, and it was getting hard to breath, but he pushed through there'd be something for him to hit later.

Moving forward he found Keel trying to squeeze in between the bars. Reaching out to two slumped figures in the cell.

"Raphtalia! Rifana! It's me Keel. Come on, you have to wake up!" Keel shouted desperately trying to force her way into the cell.

Finn reached out towards her. Keel twisted away before Finn could touch her. Her ears were flat against her head as she growled at him.

He could have tried to calm her, but his emotions were just as riled as Keel's so instead of saying anything he just growled back. A moment passed between the two and Finn thought she might have taken a swing at him. It passed though and all Keel did was looked at the ground.

Finn sighed a bit of his rage dissipating. He looked to the door and held his prosthetic hand out towards the keyhole. The fingers broke away and tiny metal strands poured in. They messed around for a few seconds and the door creaked open.

Keel was already through the door before it could open an inch. She crowd around the two figures, who seemed to have curled up together.

Stepping closer Finn examined the two. They were both pale, sickly, and rail thin. Faces gaunt and eyes sunken in. Their bodies were covered by thin threadbare dresses. The one on the left had pink matted hair, covered in dirt, blood, and who knows what else. The one on the right had brown hair equally as dirty as her friend.

Keel let out a broken whine. The sound reminded Finn of the same sound Jake would make whenever Finn had gotten hurt, and Jake thought he was asleep. The memory should have brought him comfort, it only made him angrier.

"How are they?" Finn asked.

Medical drones crawled in and checked them over. Neither of the two disheveled Demi-humans stirred.

[They are alive, if badly wounded.]Owl said, she spoke aloud through Finn's arm. Keel startled at her voice. [They have been beaten quite severely, then left here in for their wounds to fester. An infection has already set in. Judging from the coloring of the bruises and what Keel has said, I would guess that they have been enduring this treatment for the past few weeks. Also, from the state of the other bodies this Rabier looked to have been doing this for much longer than that.]

Finn was glad Owl said that in his head. He had no idea Keel would react if she knew the true extent of her friends' injuries.

"Can you help them?"

[I am already doing what I can for the ones that are still breathing, but for them to have any chance of survival we have to move them out of this place. It will take time for me to stabilize them, and even more time to move them. The only problem is there are too many people that will interfere with us.]

An imagine appeared on Finn's arm then of Idol's guards moving back to the front of the manor. They reached the doors and tried to opened them only to find them barred. Finn heard them shouting as a group of them slammed their shoulders against the door to knock it open.

"Plan B it is then." Finn shrugged his shoulders and cracked his neck as he stood. He walked towards the door. As he did so he saw Keel looked from him to her friends. Her body shook in indecision, so Finn took it out of her hands. "Stay here and keep them safe. I'll be back soon."

Keel gave him a grateful nod as she returned to watching her friends as Owl did her best to help them. Finn knew that the best thing for them would be to get them out of this dank dungeon, he also knew that just grabbing them and running wasn't an option anymore. Everyone here would need time to heal, and that meant Finn would have to stay put in this manor for a few days atleast.

That meant Finn would have to deal with everyone in the manor and possibly the city as well. A problem to figure out if he survived past the hour.

Which was fine with Finn at the moment, he really needed to hit something soon or he might burst from the rage building in his chest. Finn quickly made it back up the stairs without looking into the cells again. When he reached the top he took a deep breath, glad to be away from the smell.

As Finn made his way to the front of the home, he noticed that several of the servants were hiding behind closed doors, holding their breath in the hopes that he would pass them by. They most have hidden when the music started, and the guards left. His plan had worked even better than he could have imagined. He also noticed before they closed the doors that quite a few of them had badly healed bruises decorating their faces.

None of the servants that saw Finn made a move towards him. Finn was both grateful and annoyed for that. Grateful that he wouldn't have to hurt them, and annoyed that the wouldn't give him a chance to.

Finn made it back to the foyer as the door he came through was buckling as more and more force was thrown against it. Finn took a step back deeper into the foyer on to the stairs as the door was broken down and guards poured inside. He calmed his racing heart and mentally prepared to fight.

The guards made it a few steps into the chamber when they noticed Finn standing there. They shuffled uncertainly unsure about what to do until one of them put forward to stand in front of the pack. This guard was in the finer set of armor than the others denoting his higher rank.

"Who are you? Are you the one responsible for that Unholy racket outside? Do you know who's home you have invaded?" The Lead guard ask, his voice both imperious and angry. He had one hand on the pommel of his sheathed blade.

"Finn, yes, and yes." Finn answered glibly. When enough of the Guards entered, they formed up around Finn in a half circle around formation aiming to surround him, but the stairs made that difficult. There were so many of them even though the hall was fill half of the group was still outside.

"I hope you enjoy the sites because it'll be the last thing you will have ever seen." The leader said, his voice arrogant and haughty.

"I saw your basement." Finn watched the Guard's face, looking for any sort of guilt or regret over his actions in the other man's eyes. All Finn got back was a sneer.

"Did you come here the play Hero, is that it?" the Guard laughed, it spread to the others and soon all of them were laughing at Finn. "You would not be the first to try and you won't be the last. It is good that you saw so that you will understand what will be done to you. Our lord is rapidly growing bored with his current set of toys, and I've been hard pressed to find suitable replacements. You'll do for a while I suppose."

The man knew what was going on downstairs, they all did. Everyone in this building did. And no one was trying to stop it. This realization sent Finn's anger burning so hot it circled back to calm.

"Where I'm from I had a simple job, that I did every day since I was a kid." Finn's voice was calm and if any of them had any sense they would have started running. He pointed his blade at them.

"And what job is that?" The Leader asked derision in his voice.

"Slay anything that's evil." Finn snarled, shifting the Cardinal Blade to its Man Slayer form. It now looked like a simple unadorned single edge broadsword, which was rusted brown in color.

The sudden transformation of his blade shocked the others, and a few took a step back. The Leader was not one of them, proving as much when he shouted orders at his men.

"What are you fools waiting for?! Kill him!"

Finn didn't wait for them to come to him. Crouching down to gather strength in his legs Finn leapt forward launching himself into the guards. He fell on one blade first, piercing straight through the guard's chest ridding him to the ground.

Finn flipped off the corpse, landing in the midst of the guards. He spun in a circle blade held out. Like a rampaging buzzsaw Finn tossed those nearest him away, their bodies covered in lacerations. The Guards responded well to Finn's move as they closed rank around Finn trapping him in a cage of bodies.

A sharp whistle sounded and the Guardias charged with their masters trailing behind them. Finn stayed where he was and let them come to him.

When the first one reached him, Finn sidestepped its lunge and chopped off its head in single movement. Finn then kicked the headless corpse at the others in the pack, tangling them up.

[Behind you.]

Distracted as he was by the Guardias Finn was almost ran through by a spear wielding guard behind him. If it wasn't for Owl's warning he probably would of. Twisting around Finn grabbed the spear with one hand and stab at the guard with his blade. It pierced though his chest like it was made of paper.

The man let out a gurgle and gasps of pain. Finn paid him no mind lifting the soon to be dead man and throwing him into the crowd of his fellows.

The sound of clanging metal and broken limbs rang out from the impact. As they collapsed into a heap.

Finn deftly deflected another attack then cut them down in response. Then they all came at Finn hopping that their numbers advantage would them overcome Finn.

It didn't.

As the fight progress Finn's mind began to slip as the familiar thrum of battle had his body moving on muscle memory. Cut here, parry there, step back and to the side, thrust forward, defend to the left, now the right.

While they might have had numbers on their side, they lacked Finn's skill and battle earned instincts. Not that Finn was coming out of this unscathed, the sheer number of them meant that some attacks made it through Finn's defenses. For every sword he dodged a spear would stab into him, or a crossbow bolt found him. But while the wounds he earned would have slowed others down, all it did was make Finn fight harder.

Realizing this some of them had even stop trying to attack him and just did what they could to slow Finn down so that the others would have a greater chance at hitting the man. All that earned them was being used as a shield against their comrades or thrown with bone-breaking force at the walls.

"Wa- Wait, wait stop please stop!" The sudden plea had Finn coming out of his battle haze and refocusing on the world around him.

The previous pristine entrance hall now looked like something out of the Nightosphere. Blood coated the walls staining the once pristine stone crimson. Bodies lay scattered all-around Finn some alive and all in pieces.

Finn let out a simultaneous hiss of pain and whistle of appreciation as he took himself in. He was stained in so much blood that his blue gambeson was now red. Part of the new color came from the now dead guards, but just as much came from the various wounds he received. Looking around the only people still standing in the room was Finn and a single guard. Finn heard the rapid fleeing footsteps of guards who had fled during the battle disappear outside.

The Guard that had screamed out had already discarded his weapon and had his hands raise in surrender. He was untouched and with a hint of surprise Finn noted It was that same leader guard who was talking about how Finn was going to die.

"Not so tough now, are ya." Finn huffed hefting his blade over his shoulder as he approached the man.

In response the man dropped to his knees while letting out a pathetic whimper. He clasped his hands together in silent prayer.

"Pl-please good sir! Don't ki- kill me." The man blubber large tears spilling from his face.

"Really?" Finn asked with disbelief evident in his tone.

Finn kept walking towards the man. His footsteps echoing strangely in the empty hall. Loud thuds mixed with wet squishes.

"How many of those kids said the same thing to you!" Finn growled. "How many times did you listen!"

As Finn made his way towards the guard. He swung his blade against the ground flicking the blood off it.

"What makes you think I'll give you anymore mercy than what you have given to others?" Finn snarled.

The guard backed away at his approach. He was so focused on Finn that the back of his legs hit the stairs and he fell over. Not wanting to take his eyes of Finn the guard began to crawl away partway up the stairs. The sight infuriated Finn as he stalked after the guard, Finn easily caught the man and planted his foot on the guard's chest pinning him in place.

The guard began a whole new litany of pleas and begged to be spare. Finn shout him up by placing his sword tip at the other man's throat. Finn stared at the man's tearstained and fearful eyes. For a moment Finn considered letting him go.

The guard sensing Finn's hesitation drew a dagger from his side holster and tried to stab the Sword Hero. In a desperate attempt to save his life.

Finn deflected the attack and his retaliatory strike cleaved through the guard's neck.

And just like that the hall fell silent.

Finn looked down at the corpses filled chamber expecting to feel something. Anything at all really, he had just killed a lot of humans. Growing up in Ooo Fin had killed many things over the years but never a human. He thought that if he ever did, he would feel something about it. But looking over the corpse ridden hall all Finn felt was empty, even his bubbling anger had fallen silent.

He turned back towards the stairs, he had taken care of the minions, but the boss still remained.

But before he could even take a step forward Finn heard the sound of rushing wind. His body reacted faster than his mind could and jerked his sword up in front of his face. It was good that he did as something hard and fast slammed into his sword.

The force behind the blow sent him rocketing off the stairs and out of the foyer into the courtyard. His back slammed into the monolith In the center of the courtyard, the force of his thrown body cracking the pillar. The impact knocked all the air out of Finn's lungs, and he gasped for air. All the wounds he had taken up till now screamed out in protest and Finn nearly blacked out.

[Finn! You need to stay awake!]

Owl's mental voice jumpstarted Finn's mind and he reached into his inventory. He pulled out a red potion and downed it immediately. The health potion did its job and Finn felt his wounds start to mend.

"You are going to pay for what you've done here with your life." An unfamiliar voice sneered in Finn's direction.

Finn managed to push himself up to his feet as someone strolled out of the manor and into the moonlight. The man was short and stout with a round boubous face, and balding blonde hair. He held a whip in one had that he cracked against the ground, the force of it carving a deep groove into it.

Finn growled as he found himself face to face with Idol Rabier.
