The Many Kids of Danny Fenton

Chapter 12: Eddie Part I

Clockwork, Flower Princess11 and 61394 had just finished watching Matlin's day and smiled.

"Oh, it doesn't matter what world it is or who people choose, I just adore true love..."FP11 said in a gushing way.

She was very pleased with the addition of Matlin's siblings, as well as her love for Bloom and Sky's son, as well as the father-daughter bonding moment between Danny and Matlin.

Another sign that he was also a good father, in every timeline he is in.

"As I was about to say, all seems to be in order here..."Clockwork said before closing the widow to that timeline.

"Seems that way to me..."61394 said, smiling..."Though to be honest, it's been a while since I've visited the world of Winx and I kind of forgot a lot of it..."He admitted.

"You'll never change, will you?..."The time master said with an amused look on his face.

"Hey, I remember Bloom, Sky, Stella, Tecna, Flora and Musa, as well that the Trix..." 61394 listed off..."I am just forgetful..."He said before he shook his head with a smile, he knew his faults but they didn't bring him down.

"Why should I worry about it?..."He said with a smile while Clockwork gave him a look.

"Right..."The Time Master said and FP11 giggled.

61394 looked at his boss and his old friend, shaking his head.

"I see you haven't changed…" FP11 said.

"I'm still the same old, Number Boy!..." 61394 said.

"Yes, you are..."Clockwork chuckled.

"I sincerely hope Matlin and Drake will grow close..." FP11 said.

"Spoilers…" Clockwork said.

FP11 smiled even more as her natural match making skills were acting up and-

"No..."Clockwork said.

"Huh? But CW?..."She said.

"I know what you are thinking and now is not the time for that. If you wish to meddle in more love lives, then at least wait until I am done doing my job for today. Please have some patience..."Clockwork said.

FP11 pouted a little before she sighed.

"Okay… but I still wanna know how things are going to play out for Matlin, or Alura, or even Peter..." FP11 said.

"You can't rush it… seeing Danny and 28 potential love interests should prove this..."He said.

"I know, I know...can only show one day..."FP11 said and Clockwork smirked.

"You know sometimes the parade happens on it's own and some things must take its course..." Clockwork said and 61394 nodded.

"Clockwork's right, boss..." 61394 said ..."Sometimes the right thing ends up happening on it's own...and sometimes it needs a kick-start..."Number Boy said.

She sighed, realizing that they both had a point.

"Right… right…" She said.

She knew Clockwork and her employee were technically right. She wasn't responsible for everyone in the universe falling in love, but that didn't mean that she didn't have a soft spot for romance.

"Plus… like with Kitty and Musa showed us, some things are worth waiting for…" Number Boy said.

FP11 and Clockwork nodded in agreement with their friends/employee's words.

"So, who is next?..."FP11 and 61394 both asked and Clockwork chuckled.

"A timeline where Danny's perfect match is a girl that is, ironically, full of life ..."The time master said as he waved his staff and opened another window, to another timeline.

This time, to a more UNIQUE sort of timeline, where the Danny of that world had chosen a rather unusual but still lovely girl as his love and had a family with her.

"This one would be fun to see..."61394 thought..."The timeline of Danny's worst father in law..."He added.

"Not Oscar?..." FP11 asked and Number Boy shook his head.

"Oscar is overprotective but at least he never tried to physically attack one of Penny's dates and he never tried to kill Danny..." 61394 said.

"True..." FP11 said and then notice Clockwork shaking his head.

"Something wrong?..." FP11 asked.

"Nothing, it's just that The Phantom fails to recognize how much stronger Danny is than him now… if it weren't for Phantasma, he'd utterly devastate him..."The Time Master said.

"Is Danny really that much stronger?..." FP11 asked.

"Yes, he is..." Clockwork said..."Regardless of timeline, his power has grown to the point he can outdo the Fright Knight, who is more powerful than The Phantom..."The Time Master explained before showing an image of Danny's perfect match in that world.

Phantasma or Phanty as she is known by her loved ones. The first ghost Danny ever dated, at least in this timeline.

In this world, the Danny of that world chose Phantasma as his perfect match and despite the many attacks and disapproval of Phantasma's foul tempered father and many other obstacles, they remained strong and are still together to this day.

Clockwork opened the time window to see The Phantom with his mostly ghost grandson on the Phantoms birthday, and despite still hating Danny, it is obvious that he adores his grandson.

"Ah, Young Eidolonius..."Clockwork said as he was his young image.

Flower Princess11 saw this and looked very excited. So did 61394.

"Ah yes, I remember that pairing. Really was one of the wildest pairings and one of the most fun too..."FP11 said.

"I remember it too and if I recall, there was actually another timeline where they met outside of the dating service, wasn't there?..."61394 said

Clockwork smiled.

"Yes, you did visit that timeline a while back and made things...more fiery for Danny..."The Time master said while 61394 just shrugged.

"I might have accidentally brought a bit of Endeavor with me but I didn't know the Phantom would get it..."61394 said.

"How exactly would that be your fault?..." Clockwork asked.

He knows the answer but like he said, he enjoys conversation.

"I have no idea. I just get blamed for stuff sometimes..." 61394 shrugged.

Clockwork and Flower Princess11 didn't say anything there was no way to respond to that.

Didn't stop FP11 from trying, though.

"In fairness… half of the time you're just sitting by and stuffing your face..." FP11 pointed out.

"I do more then eat..." 61394 said

Clockwork snickered.

"My friend, romance might be her area of expertise but yours is calculated chaos..."He said.,

61394 was about to say something, only to pause, think about it and ended up nodding.

"Can't argue with that..."Number Boy said and Clockwork only chuckled.

"Still as amusing as ever…"He said.

He was about to fast forward to the "present day", only to sense someone enter his domain, just like 61394 did earlier. He smiled, as it was someone who he was already familiar with and having expected this.

His guests however, did not.

"Hey, CW, what's up?..."FP11 asked.

"Is someone here?..."61394 said.

"Yes, we have another guest..."Clockwork said as he pointed to who entered his domain.

A male who had dark brown hair with glasses. He wore the You+Me=Love! uniform with heart sticker on.

This person is BeConfuzzled Writer, known to others as "BCW" for short, a member of the dating service and a supporter of Danny's relationship with a certain cute and kooky ghost girl, as well as a feisty hockey player and a mischievous thief.

He also looked surprised to see everyone here.

"BeConfuzzled Writer!..."FP11 said, looking pleased to see him.

"Hey..." BCW waved.

"It's good to see you pal. I wondered if you were going to show up..."61394 said as he greeted him, though BCW still looked surprised to see the two of them here.

"Boss? What is going on here?..."BCW asked, confused.

"Oh, just taking a little break...and having a viewing party..."FP11 said with a smile..."What brings you here?..."She asked.

"I saw the work email and came over as soon as I could. At least, I think it was a work email. It may have been Deadpool or the Warners..."He said, as he wouldn't put it pass the Merc with a Mouth or the Wacky Warner siblings.

"No, Wade's busy messing with Neo and the Warners are in Earth 15 right now..." 61394 said ..."They're very interested in a certain relationship over there..." 61394 said as he and FP11 nodded knowingly.

"Glad to know it wasn't fake or a scam..." BCW said, adjusting his glasses..."So, what are you guys viewing?..."He asked.

"Oh, just watching a day in the life of the Many Kids Of Danny Fenton..."FP11 said and BCW looked surprised.

"Why did you say that like it was a title?..." BCW asked while FP11 only shrugged..."Also, why do this in the first place?..."He asked and everyone turned to the Time Master, who also shrugged.

"I had to go check the timelines anyway..."Clockwork said..."Just in case there's something going on..."

"And Clockwork doesn't mind the company..." 61394 said... "Right, old buddy?..."

"That is correct..."Clockwork nodded.

BCW looked around seeing the timelines, before recalling something that happened in one particular timeline.

"Weren't you trapped or something for two years in one timeline?..." BCW asked before Clockwork scowled at him.

"Yes… as the master of time, I technically exist in all timelines so even in the main timeline that technically still happened to me… and I appreciate not mentioning that..." Clockwork said with some edge in his tone.

"But… you knew things would play out well…" Number Boy pointed out.

"Doesn't mean I enjoyed it..." Clockwork said.

Seeing how annoyed he is, FP11 chose to change the topic.

"What do you say, BWC? Wanna join us?..."FP11 asked before turning to the time master, who nodded.

"Sure, what's one more person..."CW said, though he knew very well that if things go as they are going, it won't be a small party for long.

Meanwhile, 61394 walked over to the viewing chairs and now there was a third one for BeConfuzzled Writer, all ready for him.

"Come on, Fuzzy. Grab a seat..." 61394 said.

Where did I get that nickname again? I told you not to call me..." He responded with mild annoyance.

You did and I didn't listen..." 61394 said with a cheeky smile.

FP11 got in between them before they could start an argument.

"Come on, just pull up a chair and enjoy the show..."FP11 said.

"Okay, I'd love to..." BCW replied as he walked over and took a seat..."So, which timeline are we looking at?..."He asked.

"The one where Danny meets Phantasma at the dating service and eventually marries her..."Clockwork said.

BCW pondered before shaking his head.

"Ooh… I was curious. Who have you seen so far?..."BCW asked.

"Danny with Kara, then Sabrina, then Kitty Pryde, and most recently, Musa..." FP11 answered him.

"Now it's Danny with Phantasma… convenient I'm here..." BCW said, since he was one of the supporters for that particular relationship.

"Almost like, as Danny once put it, a well-planned coincidence..." 61394 said before all of them darted their eyes at Clockwork, who shrugged.

"Maybe I planned it... maybe not...I guess we will have to wait and see..."The Time Master said while 61394 laughed

"I knew there was a reason we were friends..."Number Boy said.

"If there was, I can't seem to recall it..."The Time Master said, causing the wacky author to laugh even more.

Once he settled down, the time master turned to his guests, who sat together in their chairs.

"Well, everyone ready?..."The host asked.

"I'm ready!..." 61394 went.

"Me too..."BCW said.

"Can't wait to see what their kids are like or who those kids like…" FP11 said in excitement, while 61394 had a mischievous smile on his face.

"I know I'm going to enjoy it. Danny in close proximity to the Phantom always makes for good entertainment..."He said with a laugh while his boss and co-worker shared disturbed looks.

"I see you seem to enjoy a battle between in-laws…" BCW said but his co-worker shook his head.

"It has nothing to do with the fighting in-law trope. I just want to see Danny punch Phanty's dad..."Number Boy shrugged in response before grabbing some more food.

With that done, the now three matchmakers were seated for the show.

"We're ready when you are, Clockwork..." FP11 said

"On with the show..." 61394 cheered with BCW

"Alright..."The time master said.

With BeConFuzzled Writer in the mix, Clockwork went back to work.

"Now, let us enjoy the show..." Clockwork said with a childish smile as he turned into his child form.

His time staff glowed as it showed a new time window opening, and in it, an older versions of young Eidolonius Phantom, the son of Danny Phantom and Phantasma. However, to their surprise it seems that the family unit had expanded in the ten year period of time.

"Is that what I think it means?..."FP11 asked in excitement while Clockwork smirked and so did BCW.

"No spoilers, just enjoy the show..."He said and BCW nodded.

"Fine…" FP11 sighed.

"Now, let us see how they are right now..."CW said as he prepared his time staff..."Time in!..."He said as he pressed the button and soon they witness a day from of the life of young Eddie and his very unusual family

10 years later

It was a beautiful morning in the town known as Amity Park, the sun was shining and many families were getting ready for their day.

Especially one of the most famous families in Amity Park, as well as it's most unusual one.

In a large, three story , somewhat gothic house on a very remote hill, a certain family had just woken up to get ready for their day. One thing about this family is that it is a family of ghosts...or rather, one full ghost, one half ghost and their 3/4 little ghost children, but they were still a family, no matter what.

This was the house of the one and only Danny Fenton his ookie, spooky wife Phantasma Phantom, or Fenton, depending on who's she talking to.

And right now, one of them has woken up to prepare for the day.

Down in the kitchen, a ghostly blue woman with white hair with a blue streak, was preparing breakfast for her family.

"Hhmmmhmmm..."She hummed happily as she continued cooking with 'fresh' ingredients.

It is Phantasma, the wife of Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom who was in the middle of making a mostly fresh breakfast, even if the smell of the fresh food made her stomach turn a bit, but not as bad as when she was a girl.

Since her husband had a strong preference for fresh food, she has gotten used to cooking it, even if she didn't particularly liked eating it.

The thing one does for their loved ones.

And speaking of love, the happily married woman was in the middle of making breakfast for her children and her loving husband.

"Oh Danny..."Phantasma thought lovingly, catching of her wedding ring as she cooked.

Since their marriage and even before then, they were inseparable. Like two heads on a cat, though not that unusual. At least in the human world, it would be unusual.

Anyway, they loved each other and that is obvious to everyone who sees them and Phanty and Danny have never been happier.

Speaking of Phanty, she just finished making a stack of pancakes and she smiled.

"Perfect..." Phantasma, who still looks no older than a 20 year old, said with a cackle.

Since she's a ghost, she doesn't necessarily age at the same rate as humans. She's looked like this for almost a decade, much to the envy of some of her mortal friends.

Anyway, despite being close to forty and a mother now, she also as energetic as ever. Nothing could ever stop her, including Danny...not that he would try.

He always enjoyed how, for lack of a better word, lively she is.

She always brought that energy into everything she did, whether playing her music, fighting ghosts, taking care of their children or spending alone time with her loving husband.

A lot of alone time with him...to be honest.

Anyway, Phanty hummed a tune of her own while she was currently making pancakes, eggs and bacon, her husband's favorite breakfast.

There was also a fresh pot of coffee being made in the coffee maker, since her wonderful, wonderful husband always needs a cup first thing in the morning. He could be so grumpy when he didn't get enough sleep, especially if she wasn't the cause.

It's more than likely his human side, though her in-laws were never that addicted to caffeine. She finds it funny in hindsight, though she does worry for him since it is usually it's the result of something he encountered the night before… or her father but her father didn't "visit" yesterday, thankfully.

She loves her father but his "visits" have happened more and more as her father got older, challenging Danny to make him more 'ghostly' or some other nonsense.

True, her darling husband is more than strong enough to handle the aging specter but it was such a bother and she had half a mind to program the ghost shield to keep him out but he was family and doing so would deprive her children of one loving grandparent.

Her father is a proud, stubborn more and whether he wanted to admit it or not, he would have to eventually start treating her husband like family. They'd been together for twenty years and would be together for the rest of their lives/afterlives and her father was just going to have to deal with it.

Thankfully, her mother was the opposite and someone she could rely on during situations like that.

Also, her husband was also A LOT more powerful than when he was a teenager and could handle anything her father or anyone else can throw at him, even with his work load.

Between working for NASA, being the leader of Team Phantom and working with his old friends and allies such as Super Girl, Kim Possible, Ben 10, The Avengers, the X-Men and even Justice League now and again and some spy organizations Phanty wasn't authorized to know existed but she knew about anyway since their members included people he'd dated in the past.

Her husband led a busy life but he always made sure that he made it home in time for dinner...or at least, he'd call her if he would be late.

Phanty would worry about his health but she always knew Danny would come home in one piece but he something wouldn't return home till everything was checked out. Becoming a husband and father made him worry more, even if he knew that Phanty was around to protect their kids too but he was so overprotective, not that she didn't understand why.

He'd made plenty of enemies over the years (Doctor Drakken and Shego, Vilgax, the forms of Chaos, the HIVE, Lex Luthor, etc); either from stopping their schemes or making the world a better place to live in for monster, humans, mutants and everyone else.

Also her father… well...okay, her father wasn't a supervillain by any stretch of the word.

He was just a cranky, overprotective specter who didn't approve of ANYONE being near his daughter, even if she and Danny had been married for years. He even crashed a few anniversaries, to the dismay and embarrassment of Herself, Danny, Jack, Maddie, and Lady Christine. though he was promptly vacated from the party within seconds if he didn't behave.

It was no wonder her mother was Danny's favorite in-law, especially since she was one of the few beings outside of Clockwork that her father can't overpower and doesn't dare cross, especially after what happened THE LAST TIME he crossed her.

And event he tries hard not to repeat, but he still made his dissaproval over her marriage clear. Not that Phanty cared too much for his approval, since she was just happy to be married to the most hauntingly amazing hunk in the world and no one, not even her father, can do anything about it.

No matter how much he wanted to.

Anyway, she and Danny were happily married with a loving family and she has never been happier. But Phantasma wasn't the same, naive little ghoul she once was since she had trained her own powers and even joined him on some adventures, though she put those days behind for her children.

She still trains in case of enemies, and for field action, and most of all, to protect her family, though if her father had any say, and he doesn't, she'd stay inside at all times.

Still it wasn't just him, but some people had other reasons for ghouls to stay indoors. Despite the decades of integration, some people just couldn't get with the times and would rather hold on to centuries old hatred. Phanty couldn't wrap her head around it, but some people just refuse to let go and move on. She can only hope her children will learn not to continue the cycle of hate. Thankfully, her little darlings never judged a person by their species or where they came from, but by their actions.

Hopefully with time, everyone will learn to let go of the past and change as they all have.

Anyway, the ghostly beauty floated away from the stove, letting the food simmer.

"There we go...food's nice and hot..." She said aloud.

Personally, she prefers something cold and moldy to start her day but she would do anything for her family. Even cook fresh food everyday, especially since her kids were part human, they seem to prefer nice and hot, something they got from their fathers side of the family.

It's not that they can't eat her kind of food... they just don't like it as much as her.

Why? She didn't know but there wasn't a book somewhere about raising children with a halfa, so she chalked it up to Danny's human DNA.

"Now for the table..." Phanty said

She had gotten much better at using her ghostly powers since she was thirteen and started training her ghost powers with Miss. Grimwood. She's nowhere close to her father, or her husband… or some of the strongest in The Ghost Zone. However, she knows enough of what she needs.

Like right now.

With a snap of her fingers, plates and silverware flew across the kitchen before landing gently on the table. Phantasma grinned as she added the finishing touch of wilted flowers as a personal touch.

"Perfect..."She said, pleased.

Now all she had to do was wait for her husband and children to come down. Looking at the clock, she frowned as it was already seven in the morning. She knew that Danny would be up on his own, getting ready for work unless he had a hard night patrolling, which he didn't.

At least, not last night since he and Eddie managed to finish fighting bad guys before dinner, which was a relief. It was the usual Box Ghost and Lunch Lady, or some minor ghost just causing trouble for the sake of it.

Anyway, after Eddie turned 14, he wanted to go on missions with his father, wanting to be a sort of sidekick to him. Phantasma was so proud of her son. He was on his way to become a great hero, just like his father.

Phanty also knew Danny wouldn't let Eddie get hurt but a mother still worried whenever he had to face some nasty bad guy, even if he usually clobbers them, though there have been some close calls.

"At least, it wasn't that hussie, Ember..." She thought angrily.

Phantasma couldn't stand most of Danny's enemies but there was something about the fiery rocker that Phantasma's blood boil, since she still hated her for kissing Danny back when they were teenagers and the feeling was mutual, especially as the would-be rock star took an interest in Danny. He didn't hesitate to stand her up, since she's evil and waited too long to make a move and Phanty was just glad she wasn't around their son. She wouldn't put it pass that ghoul to try and use him for some sick revenge attempt or try and have convinced him some kind of nonsense to get under her spectral skin, like that Ember herself is his real mother or something just as sick.

Phantasma shook her head. She had better things to think about then that irritating woman, like make sure her family is well fed for their day, as well as be a supportive wife. And to make sure her firstborn son is doing good in class since he's the one who Danny is prepping to be a potential successor as the ghostly hero of Amity Park.

Speaking of her oldest, where was he?

He was usually down by now..

She knew that her youngest children were still sleeping but her oldest, on the other hand, should be down by now, yet he is not here yet and it is a school day.

What was he doing up there?

She knew Eddie was a good boy a boy but he also took a lot from her side of the family and she remembered half the things she did as a teenager.

True, most of them were to hide Danny from her father but still, Phanty had her wild times when she was young.

Now she's matured... mostly.

She still can have a screaming good time with her ghoulfriends when she wanted. She might be 38 and a mother but that didn't mean she's turned into a boring old lady. In fact, she'd become the afterlife of any party she'd be invited to.

"Where is that boy?..."She thought.

Just then, her husband yawned as he floated in and sat at the table. Phanty smiled widely upon seeing him.

"Good morning, my haunting hunk..."Phanty said as she floated towards him and gave him a good morning kiss.

Danny smiled.

"Morning, my spooky beauty..."He said lovingly to his wife who giggled.

Phanty loved when he called her that, ever since they were teenagers. It always made her feel like the most special girl in the world.

"I see you made quite the spread…"He commented as he saw the food on the table.

"Only for you, would I make this…" She responded.

"I know, dear..." Danny said appreciatively ..."And if you ever want to take a break from cooking, I'll step in..."He said but Phanty shook her head.

"Oh, hush my love. I would do this for you, no matter what..."The loving wife said.

Danny was about to say something, when the smell reached his nose and he smiled.

"Breakfast smells good..."Danny said.

"Only if you like it fresh..."She said, as she began to make her own breakfast for herself.

She didn't know how Danny could stomach fresh food but she still loved him. Meanwhile, Danny laughed, knowing his wife's preferences.

"If it's your cooking my love, it's the best in the world..."He said and Phantasma cackled at that.

"Aww Danny, you sweet talker, you..."Phanty said in a giggling manner, while her husband smiled and sported an amorous grin.

"Only with you, my ooky spooky beauty..."He said before kissing her again.

"Oh...my haunting hunk..." Phanty cooed as the two melted into each other's arms.

With a popping muah, the two parted.

Danny smiled back at her with his shiny blue eyes that always made Phanty swoon and want to run her hands through his black hair that was beginning to turn white, just like his ghosts forms hair was beginning to turn black a bit. It made him look even more horrifically, ruggedly handsome.

Another reason that Phantasma was the LUCKIEST GHOUL in the world!

They shared another kiss.

MUAH!

When they FINALLY separated, Phanty caught a glimpse of the clock and frowned. It was 7:10 and there was STILL no sign of their oldest son, who usually is the first kid down for breakfast.

"Danny, Eddie didn't have problems last night did he?..."She asked.

"He didn't, my spooky siren, he and his team only had one ghost fight but aside from that, he had a pretty quiet night. Eddie handled things like a champ..." Danny said proudly while Phanty looked up towards the kitchen door.

Still, no Eddie.

"Well, where is he?..."She asked..."Eddie? Eddie!..."Phantasma called for her first born.

No response.

She frowned.

"Eddie? Eidolonius!..."Phantasma called, tapping her finger against her arm.

What was he doing up there?

Where was that boy? His breakfast will get COLD at this rate!

And not in the GOOD way!

Upstairs

Danny and Phantasma's oldest child, Eidolonius "Eddie" Fenton was in his room, looking at himself in the mirror.

His hair was snowy shade of white, something from his father's ghostly half. Being part human made him a more solid form in comparison to other ghosts but it served to add to his charm. Green eyes looked back at him in the mirror as he ran his hand through his messy white hair and getting it out of his face.

With a combination of his parents look, he had a rather mysterious look that could drive some girls wild...or wilder in the case with some monster girls he knew.

Eddie smiled at his reflection in the mirror

"Okay, double check if I've got everything ..."He said as he searched through his pockets.

He checked and saw that he had his phone, wallet, thermos, textbooks, homework and an old coupon for a free burger at Nasty burger Eddie quickly checked the date and saw that it expired today, so he knew where he was going right after school. Putting it in his pocket for later, he smiled.

"Everything's all set..." He said, making last minute adjustments... "Just one last thing..."

The boy reached for his iCoffin as he checked his messages. Checking to make sure he didn't get any messages from CJ or TJ just to make sure there are no ghost attacks.

He soon made a three way call, just to be on the safe side.

"You guys all good?..."He asked.

"All good in the Foley house. Oh, fearless leader..."TJ said.

"Don't call me Fearless leader..." Eddie said..."It makes me sound like the bad guy in that movie from the fifties..."

"How about fearful leader?..." CJ joked.

"Ha ha… no..." Eddie responded as he heard his friends laughing and despite it all, found himself chuckling too.

However, the Quarter human's good mood was ended when he got a text from someone who annoyed him

"What is it?..."CJ and TJ both asked.

"Oh, nothing. Just got another text from...her .."Eddie said in annoyance.

"Again?..."CJ said.

"Can't she take a hint?..." TJ asked.

"Unlikely..." Eddie said, irritated since he ignored the text message from a certain ghoul that was something else and not in the good way.

Azalea Nightshade, the daughter of the Corpse Flower's Amenita Nightshade, the living plant and supermodel for various products, who only modeled for what she calls the best products.

While Azalea and her mom could have just gone back to being flowers and snooze for 1,300 years, her mother believed it was better for the world if they walked it like monsters. After all, they were beautiful...though, those were they're words, not his.

Azalea was also one of Eddie's more annoying fan girls. She almost always asked him out on a date whenever she saw him, even though Eddie has turned her down each time but she persists. Just like her mother, Azalea would only go for top of the line or at least luxurious items, and she always wanted to have what she deemed the best of everything. And when she found out Eddie, the son of esteemed world hero Danny Phantom, would be attending the same school as her...well she calls it destiny.

"Hello there, soulmate..." She would greet every time, much to his chagrin.

While she was pretty, the ghoul wasn't his type and all the soul mate stuff she said kind of freaked him out. Sometimes, he had to phase him it of whatever situation she had him in, when she saw him in person.

Who knew she could be a carnivorous plant?

"I thought you blocked her number..." CJ said

"I did..." Eddie said, annoyed..."Looks like she got another phone..."

"Yikes..." TJ replied as the ghost boy's phone went off again.

To his dismay, he got another text, this time from ANOTHER annoying fan girl, a girl from one of his friends, Donna's school, Tawnie Rockwaller, a rude girl who he encountered the last time he and his dad were in Middleton to help Donna's mom out with a "sitch". The moment she knew who he was, or more specifically who his dad was, the girl would have been all over him, had the ghostly boy not fly out of reach.

"Come back! You don't need to play hard to get..." She would say.

"Who is it this time?..."TJ asked.

"No one, just Tawnie again..."Eddie said as he didn't even bother to read the text.

It's like she expected him to fall in love with her because she was a cheerleader 'somehow' and she was pretty. Too bad that her that personality left a lot to be desired.

"Ooh… someone's lucky with women..." CJ said in amusement.

"I wouldn't call it lucky..." Eddie said, annoyed.

While the quarter human was proud of his family and had confidence in his looks, girls like Tawnie and Azalea were never any fun. Especially since they go to great lengths to get his number and harass him.

"Hey, Tawnie's not so bad..."CJ said, though mostly because he used to have a little crush on her before he met Selene and fell for her.

"Dude, you traded up, so don't look back to that brat..."Eddie said..."Tawnie can be even bigger pain than Azalea sometimes..."He added.

"Not to the eyes..." CJ said with a smirk.

"Can we change the subject please?..."Eddie said, tired of this.

"Sorry..." His two friends went and began to talk about other topics.

"Do you think Selene will like this suit?..." CJ asked, sending with a picture of a black suit with spider webs on the lapels and sleeves.

"Yeah, it looks fine..." TJ said.

"Why are we talking about Selene and a suit?..." Eddie asked, confused.

"Dude, there's a dance Friday. How do you not know? It's at your school..."CJ said.

Eidolonius's mind blanked out for a moment as he recalled the school events, mixed in with his ghost fighting and teenage pursuits of video games, not failing class, and social media trends.

"Oh right, the dance..." Eddie said... "Totally forgot..."

"Why am I not surprised?..." TJ said..."So, does that mean you're not going?..."He asked

"I dunno. Dances aren't my thing Tuck..." Eddie replied... "Besides, I don't have a date anyways..."He admitted.

"Why not ask your fan girls?..."CJ joked and TJ laughed.

Eddie rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, right. I'd sooner paint myself pink then do that..."Eddie said sarcastically.

Due to his father's reputation as one of the Earth's greatest heroes, as well as one of THE most powerful ghosts in the entire monster world, Eddie was well known in both the human, monster and magical world, and as of such, has girls from each one who only wanted to date him because who his dad was.

Tawnie Rockwaller and Azalea Nightshade were just SOME examples, not to mention the amount of girls at his school who won't leave him alone. While he didn't have a whole fearleading squad after him, his heritage was often the cause of certain ghouls, ghosts, and normies targeting him. Everyone wanted their fifteen minutes of fame by dating him/hanging out with him, a quality the boy had long outgrown.

"I can see why my dad misses having a secret identity..." He thought to himself.

Sure, there were those who respected him for wanting to be like his dad and not every girl wanted him for his status as the son of Danny Phantom but...he wanted a girl who liked him for who he is, not for his fame, his family's status, his looks or the fact that he popular and he was becoming a superhero in his own right.

He just wanted to find someone special who'd like him for who he is.

"I'm just not interested in just any ghoul. I rather be with someone because I like her, not to be on a magazine cover..." Eddie said after his friends mentioned fan girls.

"Do they still even make magazines?..." TJ asked.

"If you looked up from your phone once in a while, you'd know the answer dude..." CJ said and Eddie laughed.

"That's true..." He said.

"So, let's go back to the topic of Eddie needing a date to the dance?..." TJ said..."Why not ask Callie Drake or Sunny Long, I think they like you..."He suggested.

"Or Donna, she is pretty cool..."CJ suggested..."Not to mention, Summer Grey is available..."He added.

"No thanks, Donna is cool but kind of braggy, as for Callie, well, she's not my type, plus I think Peter likes her..."Eddie said, referring to his old friend and the son of Kitty and Colossus..."As for Summer, you know why.."He said.

Eddie knew that Summer was TJ's ex-girlfriend and he didn't feel comfortable going out with his friend's ex. Sure, they decided to remain friends and seem cool around each other now but it would be way too awkward.

"And Sunny?..."One of his friends asked.

"She's more of a fun rival than anything. Also, not a fan of her or her dad's rapper lingo..." Eddie said.

"I see... maybe reconsider Donna? She is hot and she sure has some moves..." CJ suggested.

Eddie sighed and shook his head, though they couldn't see it.

"Donna's awesome but we've known each other since we were four, it'd be weird..."Eddie said.

"Well, her parents met when they were four. Give it time, Dude..." TJ said.

"I don't think so..."Eddie said.

He liked Donna as a friend and she is cool and pretty, but he didn't think they had any chemistry together.

"Is this because she kicked your butt a dozen times the last time you sparred?..." CJ joked

"Oh, come on. I'm not that shallow..." Eddie said, insulted..."Plus, had we agreed to use powers, I would have won against Monkey girl..."Eddie said with a huff, still a little sore over the last time he lost a sparring match against his old friend, though it was mostly since Eddie didn't like losing in general, as oppose to WHO he lost to.

"On the plus side, if you date her...you'd finally date a cheerleader..."TJ said while CJ laughed on his end.

"Yeah, the jock and the cheerleader..." CJ joked.

Eddie was on his school's grave-ball team, as the kicker, though the only reason he was on the team was because his pal Bram needed a replacement since their old kicker quit and wouldn't stop hounding him until he joined. Plus, he offered to give services as a bouncer if needed, so Eddie found himself on the team. It wasn't that bad, though. Grave ball was pretty fun, even if the ghost boy makes a better kicker than the center fielder.

"I'm just the kicker. They don't count as the typical jock, plus I am not that shallow and neither is she..."Eddie reminded.

Eddie sighed as they persisted.

He, TJ and CJ have been tight since they were in diapers and even though they don't go to the same school any more, they are like brothers to him.

They can be both cool and annoying at the same time.

Plus, they were his team, the new generation of Team Phantom. They had to be ready for when their parents hung up the ghost hunting gear and passed down the torch to them. It was a lot of responsibility but like dad would say, someone's gotta do it. Anyway, they always had each other's backs and right now, they were always going to be there through thick and thin.

Even if that meant they were trying to play matchmaker, like right now.

"I still say you should give her a call..."TJ said.

Or you can overlook Sunny's thing.. or Summer's history with TJ...uh, no offense dude..."CJ added.

"None taken. What happened between us is ancient history..."TJ said.

"Are you guys my personal cupids or something?..." Eddie asked.

"Nah, man..." TJ said. "We just want you to find that special someone..."

Eddie groaned.

"Guys, I'm just not interested in a ghoulfriend right now. Is that so hard to believe?..."Eddie said.

Eddies phone was silent for a moment

"Look dude, if it's about being worried about getting your heart broken or something..I think that's kind of a risk you'll have to take..." CJ said

"Yeah, dude. We've taken that risk, even if the results had varied..."TJ said.

Eddie sighed.

He got what they were saying, he really did but this wasn't just about not wanting to go out with some crazy fan girl or worry about potential heartbreak. It was about just wanting to find someone he just clicked with, someone who liked him, not because of his fame, but because of who he is.

He wanted to have...what his parents had when they were his age...except, you know, without his ghoulfriend's dad trying to blast him or worse, like the ghoul's father being successful. though there were doubts on that thought.

An even worse case would be that she only wants him for his fame and not for him.

He wanted someone who wanted him for him, not because of his dad, his status, his powers or his looks. He wanted to find real love, like his parents did when they found each other, but it's not always that simple.

He knew his friends were expecting a reply, so he gave it.

"I know..and I appreciate the advise guys but I'm fine..."Eddie said.

"You sure?..."One of them asked.

"I am. Honest.."Eddie said.

His friends could tell that the dance and Eddie's love life (or lack of one) wasn't something he really wanted to talk about, so they changed the subject

"Do you want me to skip the dance?..." CJ asked..."Maybe, we can have a guys night..."He suggested.

Eddie smiled and shook his head.

"Look Ceej, you and Selene should go and have fun...besides, she will kill me if I let you skip a date with her..."He said.

"So, what will you do Eddie?..." TJ asked and Eddie shrugged.

"I dunno. There's a game on Friday. I'll probably go on patrol after that..." Eddie replied

"You better not or I'll get Bram to suck you into a thermos again..." CJ 'threatened'

Eddie laughed.

"Bram couldn't shoot the broad side of a barn..."Eddie said..."It's the reason we don't let him come with us..."

"I don't know, he's been working on his aim lately..."TJ said in an amused tone.

"Maybe he's trying to replace you as the new supernatural superhero?..." CJ suggested before busting a gut.

"Ha ha...You guys re so hilarious..."Eddie said.

"Love you too, bro..." CJ said, still laughing.

"Same man..." TJ said before adding..."On an unrelated note, did I leave my book for English class at your place?..."

"Yeah, it's on my dresser, you can pick it up after patrol..."Eddie answered.

"Whew! That's a relief. I thought I was going to have to replace another book and mom would ground me forever..."TJ said.

"Tuck, you'd forget your own head if it wasn't attached..." CJ joked

"If he does, he'll fit right in at my school..." Eddie joked.

"Haha..."Tuck or TJ said sarcastically.

The quater human and his friend would have kept joking around, when his room began to shake

It was something he was familiar with.

"EIDOLONIUS DANIEL FENTON! COME DOWN RIGHT NOW!..."Phantasma yelled, her voice practically shaking the house.

Eddie nearly jumped from the sound of his mother's shrieking voice that literally shook their house like a small earth quake. He saw the time and realized WHY she was screeching for him right now.

Oh no, if he doesn't get down stairs, he is so dead!

"Oh man..."He said as he grabbed his phone again.

"Gotta go guys, see ya for patrol after school..."He said quickly to them.

"See ya , dude..." CJ said.

Later dude..." TJ said before they hung up.

Grabbing his book bag and stuffing his phone and his thermos into his pockets, Eddie ran down, nearly crashing into his mom's favorite vase, which was a gift from his god mother, Sibella.

"Oh, man..." Eddie said trying to slow down before he ran into the ugly vase

Eddy stopped himself with his arm before he could hit what he thought was an ugly piece of porcelain, or he knew that his mother would have gotten mad, or well, madder then she already was.

That was close..."He whispered as he let out a breath before he floated down the stairs before his mom had the house shaking with anger.

Again...
