The Many Kids of Danny Fenton

Chapter 16: Eddie Part V

After several hours of nonstop classes and in between ghost attacks, school had let out and Eddie was once again at his locker, getting his things in order to go home.

The mostly ghost kid just wanted to get his things and go straight home and NOT think about the dance for a little bit.

It was a bigger headache then Kyle and Roxy 13's joyride last night. Honestly, he has been asked to the dance 18 times today and half of those requests came from Azalea herself, who still won't take a hint that he is not now, nor will he ever be interested in her.

He'd rather ask Roxy out. While she's a handful and the daughter of one of his dad's recurring foes, he's found her less obnoxious and high-maintenance than Azalea, oddly enough.

And Roxy just cause fights and rides around in her dad's motorcycle for fun.

Not to mention it easier to talk to, mainly due to the fact that the ghost boy exchanges quips with the girl.

Anyway, he also has yet to figure out who he is going to ask to the dance and he still refuses to settle for a fangirl or someone who just wanted to gloat about going to the dance with him.

The more he thought about it, the less he felt like going, at least as Eddie Fenton/Phantom.

He started to think of other ways to go without a date or or without getting ambushed by certain irritating girls.

Maybe he could go wearing a disguise? No, that'd be super creepy.

He considered the idea of faking a threat coming to the school and acting as superhero, but that'd go against what his father raised him to be like.

He was starting to consider just not going at all to the dance at all. There is no obligation to go but he knew his friends would want him to go and have fun. And while the event wasn't his strong suit, the ghost boy wanted to hang out with them.

His dad and aunts could handle patrolling the town for a few hours while he went. Still, no one can force him to go but the constant waves of invitations were too much,

Eddie honestly thought things might escalate if he accepted a random ghoul's request. He knew who'd make the most noise.

As he closed his locker, he caught of whiff of fish and leather and shuddered a bit.

It seems that someone has chosen now to make her move, someone who was as bad as Azalea.

Maybe even worse at times.

"Oh no, this can only mean one thing..."He thought in dread and looked back to see that he was, unfortunately right.

"Hey there, hot stuff..."A feminine voice purred.

Eddie rolled his eyes as he looked at the source of the voice.

It is a tall, slender werecat girl with reddish brown hair/fur, with some of the darker fur styled to look like a pixie cut and dressed up in a bad girl, biker chic kind of style style.

It is Leona Stripe, the daughter of one of the most infamous students in Monster High history, Torelai Stripe. She is also working hard to "live up to" her mom's reputation as the baddest ghoul in school.

Leona was well on her way to having a rep like her moms.

Troublesome, unpredictable and crazy were the words the ghost boy would describe her. Especially the last one.

"What do you want now, Leona?..."Eddie said, wanting to get on with it.

"Rumor has it, you still don't have a date for the dance..."Leona said in a purring sort of way.

"Of course that's what she's here for..."Eddie thought annoyed.

Like Azalea, Leona was one of his more annoying admirers and can't take a hint that he wants nothing to do with her.

And that's not even the worse part.

Apparently her mom used to hit on his dad when they were their age, despite the fact that his dad was already involved with his mother when he met Leona's mom.

GROSS!

Even after his folks got married, the werecat, who now works as a gym instructor, still tended to cause trouble and hit on his dad or whatever male monster that was unlucky enough to catch her eye.

Leona was an aggressive bully and her mom would sometimes send a flirty wink at the ghost boy's dad sometimes at PTA meetings.. They made both Phantom superheroes feel their skins crawl, the daughter more so nowadays.

Like mother, like daughter.

Leona batted her eyelashes at him and once again, Eddie felt his skin crawling again.

"This girl always makes me feel like I need a shower after being around her..." He thought, annoyed already.

So, Eddie...you...me...the dance..."Leona said as she walked closer to Eddie... "We can spend some time getting to know each other more, get crowned king and queen and then cut loose and have some 'real' fun..."Leona said in a suggestive voice.

Eddie rolled his eyes.

"No thanks, your idea of fun can involve certain activities which blur the line of the law sometimes..." Eddie said.

Leona merely shrugged.

"Come on handsome, we are only young once..."She said in a coy tone, but Eddie is not interested..

Eddie rolled his eyes.

Leona is a HUGE trouble maker and this week alone she placed itching powder on the fearleaders' uniforms at the spirit rally, tied Athen's bandages to the fire alarm, glued all the desks on the second floor to the ceiling, was under suspicion when every locker in school spilled slimy ooze, but hers and dropped a bucket of paint on Azalea during lunch time just two days ago.

Okay, that last one wasn't that bad but still Leona did all of that. She is trouble and he is sure that the werecat will be no different at the dance.

He is sure that Leona just wanted to go with him for the attention and nothing else. She is just as bad as Azalea sometimes.

And just as annoying, like right now.

"I already told you Leona, I am not going to the dance with you..."Eddie said.

The werecat just sent him a catty smirk.

"Oh come on, handsome. Who else would you go with?..."Leona said..."That stinking Azalea drives you nuts and the rest of the girls in this school are losers fangirls..."Leona said as Eddie rolled his eyes again.

If Azalea and her weren't rivals in EVERYTHING, they would learn that they had quite a bit in common, like having egos the size of Gotham and Metropolis combined.

And Eddie did not like egotistical women one bit. A trait he picked up from his father. Something Leona can't pick up as she followed after him, still not capable of taking no for an answer.

"Come on Eddie baby. We can have a real scream..."Leona purred.

"Oh... you make me scream... but not for the reason you think..." He muttered.

Leona frowned for a moment, before adopting a more persistent look on her face as she continued to pester him.

Eddie really didn't like this.

To make matters even more difficult, Azalea showed up, having seen Leona hitting on Eddie and got jealous.

"Seriously?! You'd think she'd take a hint after the NINTH time..." Eddie thought, feeling a headache forming now.

"YOU!..." Azalea shouted

Leona rolled her eyes, she never retorted with the plant monster. She believed it to be pointless, a thought Eddie might agree with if he ever knew. Though he'd sooner be excorcised than let her know. He'd never afterlive it down.

"Oh look... someone forgot to do their gardening and a giant weed popped up..."Leona snarked.

Azalea growled.

"Looks like someone forgot to groom their cat this morning..." She responded.

"What do you want, you botanical brat?..." Leona questioned.

Azalea scoffed as if it were obvious, looking snobbishly to Eddie, who felt like he needed a shower.

"Excuse me, Sweetie... I have a mangy cat to deal with..." She said sweetly

"Take your time..." Eddie said in a sarcastic tone.

Azalea nodded before glaring at Leona. The werecat was never intimidated by anyone, least of all the plant ghoul.

"Oh look, a random perfume lady came wearing her sample..." Leona quipped. "Do you have anything purrfect for a dance date? I know I do..."Leona said as she looked at Eddie.

"Back off, Flea-Bag! My soulmate doesn't want your rabies..."Azalea said as she came to the scene.

Leona hissed at Azalea and Eddie sighed.

"And my headache just got worse..."Eddie thought in annoyance as the two ghouls began fighting over him.

Again.

Just like last time, the two most obnoxious girls at schools began fighting over him and drawing a crowd. It was a regular enough occurrence that some passed by and glanced while others placed bets on what would happen. The fights never went physical, both ghouls found it beneath them or not their style.

But it was still annoying.

"Where is Skulker when you need him?..."Eddie thought, as he much rather face him than these two annoying ghouls treating him like a prize again.

"I saw him first!..."Azalea yelled.

"Oh, and like he wants to be around you, overgrown weed..." Leona sniped cattily back to Azalea..."At least I can do better than asking him out ten times a day. Face it, he's not going to the dance with you..."She said.

"Liar..." Azalea said

"Actually she's not lying this time..."Eddie said.

Leona smirked.

"Because I'm not going with either of you..."Eddie added and Leona frowned.

"You just love playing hard to get..." Leona remarked with a dangerous glint in her eye, but Eddie wasn't having it.

"No! I'm not playing hard to get—"

"He just knows who's worth his time..." Azalea butted in as she walked up to the werecat.

"You might want to take a few miles back, Azalea. Your scent is suffocating Eddie..." Leona quipped.

The plant girl growled at that.

"At least I don't cough up hairballs..." Azalea snarked.

"I WAS SICK! AND THAT WAS JUST ONE TIME!..." Leona yelled.

"Then why is it I always have fur on me whenever you talk?..."Azalea yelled back.

The crowd murmured as things heated up.

Azalea and Leona got in each other's faces and for a second Eddie thought he saw flame in their eyes as they glared at each other as the girls threw insults at each other.

"Mangy fleabag!..."

"Overgrown stink weed!..."

"Leather bound loser..."

"Whiny little drama queen..."

They girls kept arguing and Eddie merely rolled his eyes.

"Why am I still here? I've got ghost powers, duh..." Eddie thought.

As the two girls argued, Eddie grabbed his things and phased out before they could bug him again.

"Crazy girls..."He muttered once he was safely in the air, away from those snobby girls.

There was no way he'd go to the dance with either of them.

Azalea is too obnoxious and self-absorbed and Leona is too rude and crazy that she only wants him for the fame and attention she'd get from dating the son of one of the top heroes in the world.

He'd rather go with no one if his options were Azalea or Leona. To be honest, he'd rather go alone if they were his options

If it weren't for people encouraging him.

"At least I'm safe from them..."He thought, sighing in relief.

Thankfully, neither of them could fly so he was safer in the air than anywhere else.

As Eddie flew, his ghost sense went off.

"BEWARE!..."Was also heard and Eddie sighed.

"Of course..."Eddie said as he realized that he had to deal with this before a certain loser ghost gets on everyone's nerves.

Again.

Later

After quickly stopping the Box Ghost and his annoying daughter from disrupting the peace, Eddie made it home, coming down for a landing, he walked into the house

He saw it was still intact.

"Oh good... Dad and Grandpa didn't destroy the house... again..." He said under his breath.

The last time that happened, mom got really mad at dad and grandpa and they all had to stay with grandpa and grandma Fenton for a week. As much as Eddie loves his human grandparents, it's not exactly fun to see all the anti-ghost weapons. Though they still make them because of The Phantom.

Besides, grandpa Fenton talks too much about his weapons and fudge, lots and lots of fudge. Though none of the grandchildren minded since he also gave them fudge. No one could complain about that.

And while Grandma Fenton was sweet, she was scary to be around when she and The Phantom were in the same room. Even he didn't try anything. It honestly made Eddie wonder if mothers were the scariest beings a round.

Once inside, he saw his grandfather in the living room, playing with the triplets.

"BOO!..."Bella said.

"OOH!..."Luna said in her "scary voice".

"UGGGHHHH!..."Jackie said in his own "scary voice".

"Like this grandpapa?..."They asked.

"You are getting there, my little monsters. Just a little more practice..."Their grandfather said... "And remember, surprise really improves the scare..."He added.

Eddie shook his head.

His grandfather takes pride in his grandkids being spooky like him, while Eddie was more interested in super-heroism.

The kids repeated their attempted ghostly noises.

"Better but still needs a little more volume..."Grandpapa said.

The three nine years olds smiled before they wailed, they were even louder and making their grandpa jump in startle.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!..." They shrieked

Even Eddie was surprised and he actually fought supervillains. Heck, the triplets were so loud, their parents actually rushed in from the kitchen.

"What happened?..."Danny asked, already in his ghost form..."Who got through the shield ?! What's broken?..."He asked frantically.

Phanty smiled when she saw what this was about.

"Oh, a scare lesson..."Phanty said knowingly.

"Oh..." Danny said powering down as the triplets finally stopped shrieking.

Once done, grandpapa was beaming in pride.

"That's my little monsters..."The Phantom said with pride as he hugged the triplets.

Eddie rolled his eyes as he made himself known.

"Hey grandpa..."Eddie said to the aging ghost.

Grandpa The Phantom stopped and smiled.

"Ah, Eidolonius, how was school today?..."The Phantom asked.

"Fine, just tiring. Practice and patrol took everything I had..."Eddie said.

The Phantom smiled proudly.

"And you do both of them wonderfully..."He said as he ruffled his hair.

"I'm sure he does... since he's MY son..." Danny said.

"Well... I'm sure he gets his spiritedness from his MOTHER's side..."The Phantom said in a condescending way.

Danny frowned.

Phanty sighed.

"Actually, Father... Danny is the one who trains him and spends the most time with him..." Phanty said.

"I don't care much for sports but I'm Eddies #1 fan..."Danny said.

The Phantom rolled his eyes and chose to not comment on that.

Eddie smiled sheepishly at this.

His dad would find any excuse to annoy his father-in-law, but Eddie sort of understood, since he knew grandpa had issues.

The idea he didn't want his daughter to date yet doted on his grandkids was an oxymoron. Eddie didn't get it.

He wasn't sure he ever would either but just saw it as just an old spirits' thing.

"Grandpa's weird..." He thought.

Well, it is getting late and the kids have school tomorrow. So I think it's time you left. It's been real "fun" seeing you dad.."Danny said and the Phantom frowned at being called that again, which Danny ignored..." But next time try calling first..." Danny remarked with a false smile.

"Scared boy?..." The Phantom asked with a sly grin.

"No, I just don't a need a work out similar to an encounter with the Box Ghost..."Danny quipped.

Phanty groaned as the sparked setting off another set of fireworks.

"Are you so WEAK that you can't handle that pathetic specter?.."The aging ghost shot at him.

"Ahem!..." Phantasma coughs loudly, indicating they will not start another fight in front of her and the kids...at least.

The Phantom knew what his ghoulishly beautiful daughter would do to him if he continued to make her upset by fighting again.

At least, in front of the kids. Though, she'd , she'd still have issue even when alone.

He decided he must go, unless she call her mother.

Again.

"Anyway, I must return to my realm..."The Phantom said as he hugged the triplets and Eddie goodbye.

"Goodbye children..."The Phantom said.

"See ya, grandpa..."Eddie said.

"Bye grandpapa..."The triplets all said.

"Good bye father..."Phanty said.

"And good riddance..." Danny muttered.

"I heard that..." He said with a glare.

"I know..." Danny said with a smug smile.

The Phantom sent a growl at what Danny said, but the glare from Phanty stopped him from doing anything else.

"Remember... anymore fighting and you're not welcomed in my house again..." Phantasma warned.

He backed off, not wanting her to ban him. Or worse, tell his ex-wife. She was very fond of Danny and she would make his existence worse if someone gave her a reason to.

"Farewell..."The Phantom said dramatically as Phanty used one of her spells to make a temporary portal.

"Goodbye father..."Phanty said.

"Bye..."Danny said sarcastically.

The kids waved genuinely.

"Bye grandpapa..."They all yelled.

"Next time, actually call before you come..." Phanty said with narrow eyes.

The Phantom winced.

"Please don't tell your mother!..." The Phantom called out to his daughter.

"Only if you call next time. And no more surprise attacks!..."Phanty said, still mad over what he did to her lamp.

"No Promises!..." the ghost said before leaving entirely.

With that, The Phantom soon left for home and the portal closed in an instant.

"Finally..." Danny muttered.

"Danny... please stop picking fights with my father..." Phantasma said in a nagging way.

"Only when he stops wanting me dead..." Danny responded.

Phantasma sighed.

She knew there was no point but had to try.

"I've asked him too... but old habits die hard, especially for ghosts..."She said.

Eddie just blinked at this.

"I sure hope whoever I end up with doesn't have a dad or mom who would pick fights with me..."He thought.

Just then, the triplets decided to practice their "scaring" once more.

"YAHHHHH!..."They all yelled, making Eddie jump back.

"Real scary guys, but he's gone... you can stop now..."He said.

They did as he said, exchanging looks with each other.

"Okay, Eddie..." They said, sounding cute.

They wanted his guard down, wanting to get him when he'd 'least expect it'.

"GET HIM!..."They yelled.

And they got it.

Eddie smiled as his little siblings flew at him and Eddie fell to the floor, with the triplets laughing on top of him.

"Oh man, they got me!..." Eddie said, tickling the girls and making them giggle.

He phased through Luna and Jackie, picking Bella up.

"Gotcha!..." Eddie went.

"How was school, Big Brother? For real?..." Bella asked.

"The usual. How was Grandpapa Jack and Granny Maddie..." He asked.

"They were fun, grandma was trying out a new cookie recipes and then we watched a movie with grandpapa Jack..." Luna told Eddie excitedly.

Eddie smiled.

"Did you actually get a check up?..."He asked and Bella nodded and started flexing her muscles.

"We did we're super strong, especially me..."Bella said proudly.

"That's good..."Eddie said as he messed with Bella's hair a bit.

"You look tired, Son..." Danny said.

Eddie sighed.

"After a day like I had, I'm just happy to be home..." He said.

Phanty looked concerned now

"Rough day, sweetheart?..."She asked

"Do you think, I don't know, we can stop an alien invasion or something by Friday?..." Eddie asked, only half serious.

Danny and Phanty looked to each other and had an idea.

"Having a hard time finding a date?.."Danny guessed while Eddie gave his dad a deadpan look.

"Oh, I got asked Dad. By the wrong people..."Eddie snarked.

"Those two again, huh?..." Danny asked.

Eddie nodded.

His parents knew about Azalea and Leona, and were familiar with their parents.

Unfortunately.

Danny had dealt with both of those ghouls mothers at some point and..well, needless to say, he'd rather forget about them all together and he wouldn't bother to think about either of them ever again if it weren't for the fact their daughters were trying to get with Eddie and the fact that Torelai still had a bad habit of flirting with him at PTA meetings and Parent's Night, despite Phanty's threats via overshadowing. The mother cat shrugged it off, so it was hard to tell if they deter her.

Anyway, young Eddie decided he was just happy to home and away from the ghouls. They didn't bother to come here, on account of surprise attacks between Danny and The Phantom.

The only thing positive about their one-sided fights.

"You alright?..."His father asked.

"I'm just happy to be home, where they can't find me..."Eddie said as his siblings got closer to him.

"We're happy you're home too!..." Jackie went... "Did you bring us any Nasty Burger?..."He asked and Eddie laughed.

"Sorry buddy, not today..."He said.

"Aww..."Jackie pouted.

"Maybe next time..."Eddie said as he ruffled his little bro's hair, while the girls giggled.

"Their father's taste in food is getting stronger..." Phanty thought.

She didn't understand their preference in food, but accepted it, since she was sure it was due to their human DNA. The banshee had tried some of the food with her husband before. It wasn't awful, but the ghoul never got around for a taste of the stuff.

"But it make them happy..." Phanty thoughts to her self with a warm smile.

She was never against anything that brought her children joy, unless it was harmful to them. Provided it wasn't too high in sugar or anything like that.

She'd never forgive herself of depriving her children of any happiness, and she was supportive enough to sit down and talk with the kids about anything that concerned her.

And if enemy ghosts tried something, she could always count on her loving husband to take care of the trash.

Phanty smiled at the tender scene between her children but now that her father was gone, they needed to get back to their own things.

"Your shrieking is coming along great but enough. Time for homework..."Phanty said in a motherly way.

"Aw, mom..."Her kids complained.

"No buts. Now march..." Phanty told the three.

The kids pouted, while Eddie smiled at them.

"Come on guys, the sooner you finish, the sooner you can mess around or play games..."Eddie said in an encouraging way.

His siblings smiled.

"Okay, Eddie..."They said as they floated upstairs.

Eddie followed them, since he had his own homework to do too.

And to get his mind off his troubles.

An hour later

"And done..."Eddie said as he managed to finish all of his homework and was pleased.

Thankfully, there wasn't a lot and no test were around for studyting. At least, that was something he got done today without having to deal with a giant headache.

Unlike the dance.

Super villains were so much easier then a school dance, ironically.

How? He did not know but it bugged him.

A lot.

Suddenly, he felt his stomach rumbling.

"I'm hungry..."He thought.

Since dinner won't be ready for another two hours, he could grab a snack. That nasty burger he ate after school only filled him up so much.

That and he wasn't too keen on his mom making her preferred cooking. The triplets didn't mind, but Eddie always had a preference to human food.

That part he attributed to spending most of his time with humans growing up.

Anyway, the ghost boy soon left his room to go get a snack. As he floated in the hall way, he could hear the triplets in Jackie's room, no doubt playing some game from the sounds of it.

"Sounds like they were having fun..."He chuckled to himself.

He almost felt like joining them, but snack first. As the ghost boy was about to reach the stairs, he heard some strange sounds happening in the nearby parlor.

"Huh?..."Eddie said as he heard

~Giggle~

He could hear the sounds of a faint chuckling and a somewhat muffled cackling.

What was that?

He worried one of his dad's villains got through.

Eddie looked curiously into the living room and found something that actually disturbed him and anyone else in his position.

Parental PDA.

He could see his mom and dad on the couch, so close together.

Making out.

A few moments earlier

"I thought your dad would NEVER leave..."Danny said to his wife.

Phanty sighed.

"I am sorry about his surprise visit, dear. I did talk to him but you know that he doesn't listen..."Phanty said.

"Oh, I know..." Danny said.

He sighed as he tried to relax. A whole day with his father in law was even more stressful than spending two days fighting with Skulker

And he is not kidding, he actually once fought Skulker for that long.

"I'm just glad we're alone..."Danny said.

"Me too..."Phanty said as she put her hand on top of Danny's and the ghostly man looked at her.

"Thanks for trying to be patient today..."Phanty said to her husband.

Danny put his arm around her pulling her in close and kissed her on the crown of her head.

"Hey, as I always say, dealing with your dad every once in a while is worth it to be married to the most gorgeous ghoul in the entire zone..."Danny said, making Phanty smile and giggle.

"Oh Danny...rrrr...."Phanty purred as she wrapped her arms around his neck as her glowing green eyes were looking into Danny's icy blue.

Danny put his arm around Phantasma's waist, pulling her in tight.

She snuggled closer into him.

Danny smiled more.

Twenty years later and she's still as beautiful as she was on their wedding day. Of course, to the ghost man, she was like a fine wine, she got better with age. So, she never was not beautiful to him.

"Have I told you how beautiful you are today?..."Danny said.

"Only a few hundred times today, dear..."Phanty said nuzzling into his chest, while Danny smiled more.

"Then you're overdue, you are so beautiful..."He said lovingly.

Phanty smiled happily and giggled.

"Oh, Danny..."She said, sighing romantically.

Sometimes, it was like they never really grown out of the 'honeymoon phase' like so many other couples did at their age, the couple's love just grew as their marriage had blossomed. Even more so as they expanded their family with the arrival of their ghostly-human children.

Sure, they had their lovers quarrels and their arguments...what healthy couple didn't have disagreements every now and then? But despite these fights, they never went to bed angry with each other...or at least, not too often and they always remembered how much they loved each other and made up.

Now THAT was the FUN part.

The point is they had a strong, healthy, loving relationship and a strong, loving family. They made time for each other and their children while dealing with the publicity of having a open identity hero and part of the family.

As well as having time for each other.

Like right now.

"I love you..."

"And I love you..."

"Oh Danny..." Phanty said happily as Danny kissed the bridge of her nose..."Don't stop..."She whispered as he continued.

"My spectral Spooky beauty..."Danny said flirtatiously.

"Oh, my Haunting Hunk..."Phanty giggled before sighing lovingly.

Her husband has always been easy on the eyes and she wasn't the only one that thought that.

Her husband had plenty of other admirers over they years such Paulina Sanchez, Valerie Grey, Katie Kaboom, Camille Leaon, some alien princess who once came to offer him her hand in marriage, despite the fact that had already been married for years and with kids.

Each one had been rejected by Danny and dealt with by Phanty herself when they got too persistent.

She also hasn't forgotten about the whole Spectra Vondergeiss thing from when they were teenagers. True, that ghoul moved on and found her artsy husband but she still remembered being worried about the ghoul trying to put the moves on her man.

It didn't help that for a while Spectra did have a big crush on Danny as teenagers and he was very popular with the ghouls.

Even her friend, Sibella, though respecting their relationship, being a bit jealous of Phanty's love. But Sibella had ended up finding her own man without having to look at hers after too long and found her own perfect match in her husband

Hey, she was a Dracula after all and they never stayed single for too long. They were like celebrities in the monster world.

Anyway, back to the loving couple, who were enjoying a private moment together with no kids to interrupt them.

At least, not right now, so they took advantage of it.

Phantasma and Danny sent each other amorous looks. Danny wrapped his arms tighter around his ghostly bride, pulling her in closer as she cackled amorously before calming to a more sultry giggle.

"So Danny, the kids are all upstairs and my father's gone. We're all alone..."Phanty said in a hinting kind of way..."So...how are we going to spend our alone time?..."She asked suggestively.

Her husband chuckled.

"I take you have something on you mind?..." Danny asked as Phanty smiled lustfully at him.

"Oh...I think you know, my haunting hunk..." She said with a grin, climbing up onto Danny and pushing him back on the couch and began running her fingers in a circle over his heart.

Danny smiled and started moving his arms up, but Phanty got closer and practically straddled him as she continued to pin him into the couch.

"Oh no Danny, you just sit back and relax for a while. Let your lovely and loving wife take care of you..." She said lovingly as she kept it up.

Danny chuckled once more, not stopping her.

"You know I have to go eventually, right?..." He asked.

His wife merely shrugged.

"Even so... I'm not letting you go...Not after my father was here ALL day and took up time with his usual " I can do better then being married to you" lectures while we cleaned up the damage..." She said with her arms around her hubby..."As always, I disagree..." She said.

"We could always lock him out with the shield..." He suggested.

Phanty frowned at that. She knew he was only half kidding but was considering it.

She shook her head.

"He's my father and the kids love him..."Phanty said..."Besides, he's still family...and he'd find a way to get in..."She added.

"Darn…"Danny sighed frustrated.

"Why do I have to have the one father in law in the universe who actually goes through with his violent threats?..."He thought, with grim curiosity.

The thought quickly melted away when Phanty's sultry grin returned as she started to nuzzle his cheek.

"Let's not talk about that right now. Right now, let your loving wife reward you for being so well behaved ..."Phanty said as she began french him.

"Worth not sending him into the Ghost Zone by thermos again..."The ghostly man thought as the kissing got more passionate and Phanty began to moan.

"So...so worth it..."He thought as he returned the kiss.

For all his dislike of his father in law, he loves his wife. The kiss quickly elevated, literally, as nothing held the two back with their moment of solitude.

They spun in place in bliss.

He glanced at the wall clock and saw the time.

"Phanty, I gotta go..."Danny said in between her kisses.

"Not done yet..."She said carelessly as she went back to kissing him.

Danny grinned..

Sure, he could escape if he wanted to, but why the heck would he want to?

Still, if they are not careful, they might get caught by one their kids.

And Danny still needed to go on to patrol at some point...though it was mostly for routine reasons than anything now days.

Even if the rest can handle it without him

Still, he couldn't help but want to do his duty as "the hero" of Amity Park.

"You'll have to let me go eventually sweetheart. I have to go on patrol..." Danny said but made no effort to get out of her grasp.

Phanty giggled, not wanting to let her husband go after spending the day with her father. She loved her father but Danny wasn't the only one he drove up the wall sometimes, especially when things break.

"Sam and Tucker are all grown up and your sister is a big girl, they can handle if your a few minutes late, plus your folks sensors would let us know if something big happens..."Phanty said.

"I guess.."He admitted.

"Good, cause I'm not letting you go till I know you've shown how much you love me..." She said as she ran her hands through his hair as she kissed him again.

Danny laughed as this happened.

"Laugh it up, my haunting hunk..." Phanty whispered coyly... "We both know you won't try to get out of my hands, and that's assuming I let you..." She said.

"You're not letting me go? Even if we're invaded by aliens... again?..." Danny asked.

"Hey, that's Ben's department. Plus, that Mandy or whatever her name is knows better than to try and steal you from me again..."Phanty said.

The last time that happen, Phanty gave that so-called warrior princess a black eye, among other things before the Plumbers came to take the former princess into custody.

Danny laughed

"And now I'm in the arms of another woman who obsesses over me..." He joked.

Phanty rolled his eyes but didn't deny it .

"Guilty as charged but at least this one loves you and isn't a violent psychopath…"She said.

"True...plus, you are way cuter too..."He said.

Phanty smiled, putting her arms on Danny's chest

"Now that you're in my arms... I'm not letting you go..." Phanty cooed.

The two continued to look each other in the eyes and smiled lovingly to their better half.

"I love you..."They said together.

Within moments, the two engaged in passionate kisses, moaning pet names to each other in between breaths.

"Oh, my haunting hunk..."

"Oh, my spooky beauty..."

The couple kissed again.

" I love this man/woman..."They both thought as they pulled away before they once again kissed.

And kiss and kiss...

Since their kids were upstairs and won't be down until dinner time, they kept at it like they were teenagers again...only with no curfew or strict parents to bug them now.

Mostly her father.

She does recall her mother was much less strict and more accepting of their relationship, though she did always embarrass them when she told them to keep it PG or jokingly told them not to make her a grandmother too soon. Phanty was so embarrassed when her mother made those jokes that she almost tried to not to tell her about her relationship anymore.

Still, she couldn't deny how she felt.

Phantasma was just so happy that she was married to her haunting hunk and the only man she has ever loved. The only man who loved her and was willing to put up with her father, just to be with her.

Danny Fenton, aka Danny Phantom.

Her husband, her best friend and the father of her children.

Her haunting hunk

The love of her afterlife (although technically speaking, it is her life, since she was born a ghost)

Her perfect match.

Him and no one else.

No matter how much her father was against it.

And still is.

Then again, her father would be against any monster she'd brought to meet him. Danny was just the only one tough enough to handle him, and that made her father even angrier.

And over the years, the older ghost had lessened his sway over anything involving the two. To say of the extra precautions of the wedding was...rather tense in retrospect.

It did not matter as Phanty and Danny were each other's perfect match

They kept making out on the couch and occasionally, Danny glanced at the wall clock. He knew he could delay patrol for a little while but he had to go.

"Should we get started on dinner soon?..."He asked.

"It's fine. It can wait and if not...well, we can always order out..." Phanty said, pulling Danny in by the collar, pulling him in for another kiss.

"If you say-..." He's cut off by her lips, not that he was complaining as he quickly melted into it.

It lasted for about three minutes and ended in a loud "muah".

"Phanty, air. I need it..."Danny said in as she kept kissing him on the lips, over and over again.

Danny and Phantasma separated for a moment, as Danny had to catch his breath due to still having a human side.

He barely had time to catch one, thanks to her impatience.

"Not done yet..." She said.

"Okay-..." He's cut off as she pulled him in for more.

MUAH!

MUAH!

She gave Danny a moment to breathe before kissing again. Danny laughed as Phanty kissed his face and started running her hands over his chest

"Careful Phanty, we keep this up we might scare the kids if they suddenly walk in..."Danny teased.

"Oh is that so?And I thought our kids were brave..."She teased back.

"Well, they do fight ghosts. Their parents showing each other affection is different..."Danny shrugged playfully.

"Whatever you say, dear..."Phanty giggled happily.

Her husband always had a way with words...and other things, like right now as he inching closer.

This earned a giggle as Phanty wrapped her arms around Danny's neck, holding him tight and not letting go, not that he'd ever try and escape.

Why would he? This was what he has been wanting to do ALL DAY, no thanks to his annoying father-in-law who takes being overprotective to a critical level.

One would think he'd be more respectful at this point. but no body cared right now as the ghost man placed his hand on Phanty's head and back.

"Something on your mind, my haunting hunk?..."Phanty asked.

"I wouldn't say something but someone..."Danny said as he smirked.

Phanty giggled again as he began kissing her neck and soon they began to trial up and down.

That elicited a moan from the banshee as she eyed the man.

Danny Fenton/Phantom.

Her husband

Her Danny

Her perfect match

They kissed once more.

Unknown to the two, still very much in love parents, their son had witness the whole thing. He did not mean to but needed to let them know he was going out and unfortunately, they are not being very discreet.

He covered his eyes but he still saw some of it. And heard the rest

"And now I need to find a way to induce short term memory loss..." Eddie thought, grossed out.

He loved his parents but their constant PDA's were just gross and super embarrassing if they ever did it in public. Thankfully, they don't.

He just wished they made sure all of the kids were asleep first.

Parental PDA was NOT something he wanted to see today...or ever.

Hovering backwards, Eddie made it seem he just got out of his room.

He just can't face either of them after witnessing THAT.

'Seriously, mom and dad? Eww! Couldn't they at least wait until Midnight or something..." Eddie thought, shuddering.

Sure, he knew that his parents were in love but he didn't want to see it.

He'd claw his eyes out if he had to see it for more than what he already seen.

He really didn't want to sit through this.

He did not need to deal with the awkward apologies and his parents trying to be sneaky and give each other looks.

He had his own issues already.

Eddie shook his head, he needed time to think and clear his head, but he can't do that here.

"Mom, dad...I'm going out for a flight..."Eddie called.

"All right, have fun..." Danny said, unaware that their son saw them at all.

"Remember to be back for curfew and to call if some bad guy is keeping you busy..."His mother called.

"Got it..."Eddie said as he went out and took to the skies.

Eddie felt the wind in his hair and he let himself smile a bit.

There was something about being a few hundred feet in the air that really helped you relax and clear your head. A form of freedom that floating near the ground couldn't compare to.

No matter what ever happened, the flights were always therapeutic.

And he needed it.

He needed it badly today.

"This will never get old..." the ghost boy said with a wide smile as he held his arms out. He was more like an eagle than ghost.

Yet, his thoughts were back at house he just left. More specifically on his lovey-dovey parents who could pass as teenagers with their acts.

Even though they don't look like teenagers anymore.

As grossed out as he is to see them kiss, a small part of Eddie...was envious.

Here he was, trying to find a date to the dance, wondering if anyone would be right for him, and his parent's had it figured out for years. While they had the dating service to thanks, it still sting the boy sometimes.

Even if he didn't say anything or show it.

Deep down, a part of him hoped that he will have what his parents have someday.

To be so deeply in love with someone, that you wanna be with them forever, even if it means dealing with crazy in-laws, jealous rivals or anything else life hand the afterlife has in store for them.

And yet, here he is, having so much trouble over trying to find one girl just to take to some silly school dance.

"Why did this have to be harder then fighting supervillains?..."He thought, frustrated.

The mostly ghost boy kept flying to clear his head and to NOT think about his problems...or his parents making out on the couch.

Oh boy.

In the skies

Eddie soared over the Amity Park.

The city has changed so much since his parents were teenagers and for the better.

Monsters, aliens, mutants, humans and so much more have come to co-exist peacefully here, and it was all thanks to his dad.

Eddie passed by a billboard of his dad Donna's mom and Kenny's dad standing, shoulder to shoulder with his dad in the center as they gave the view thumbs up.

Eddie, despite some of his troubles smiled a bit.

Despite the hassle that came from a famous family, Eddie is always proud to be the son of Danny Phantom.

He'd always be proud of that fact.

Proud to be a the future successor of a superhero, regardless of his grandfather thinking such a thing is beneath his grandson.

Even if he attracted women he didn't want. He almost feared someone like Roxy 13 would have a thing for him, though thankfully, she seemed to have a thing for "bad boys", much to (and ironically) to her dad's dismay. Plus, she was 3 years older than him anyway.

Eddie wasn't interested in such a big age gap, plus, he is pretty sure Roxy would tell him he wasn't her type. That might change once they were at a point where that gap no longer mattered, but he didn't think on that for long.

He didn't want to.

Eddie continued flying.

He wanted to get his mind clear.

The last thing he needed to think about was his dad, and also Eddie's own love life.

Unfortunately, it wouldn't leave him.

That's when the idea of his dance came back

He was getting desperate. Not just for a date, but to tell Azalea and Leona to leave him alone.

Maybe Donna or Sunny would take pity on him and go to the dance with him . Sure, he'd end up owing them a favor but at least they'd keep Azalea and Leona away from him.

"Besides... it'd be hilarious to see their faces when I bring a human or half-human to the dance..." He thought with a smile.

They both are strong girls and half human or not, Azalea and Leona wouldn't last two minutes against either of them.

His dad and Sunny's were rivals, at least in a friendly sort, and Sunny sort of saw herself as one to him, but they were still close.

Donna was the daughter of someone who used to have a thing for his dad, so that part was a bit awkward, but they were friends now.

It was better than no date at all and spending the night dodging Leona, Azalea and the other fangirls, but still...it would be nice to go to the dance with one nice girl we knew of who didn't care for his lineage, even if only a little bit.

"There has to be someone out there I am not thinking of..."He thought, frustrated.

Eddie was about to leave, only for a strange sound to pick up his ears.

"Huh? What is that?..."Eddie thought as he tried to listen closer.

It kind of sounded like someone was...screaming?

Phantom instincts kicked in and he got ready. Eddie followed the noise and soon landed in the middle of the local park.

There was hardly anyone here at this time.

Where was that noise coming from?

He heard it again.

Eddie followed the sound and soon saw the source.

It is Spectina Geiss, who was currently by herself, and she looked miserable right now?

"Spectina?..."He thought, surprised.

Why was she here? Why was she alone and what is she doing right now?

She did not notice him. She was sitting on top of a table at the picnic area and looking at the nearly full moon in the sky.

She looked and sounded heartbroken...but why?

He heard her reciting once more.

" With the dance just round the bend...And does he notice my feelings for him? No..."

What is she doing? Is she practicing some kind of poetry?

It was lovely though, as the ghost boy listened closely. His mind lulling to her voice.

She still didn't notice him, she just continued reciting as she looked up at the moon.

"For it plain as one can see, what he truly means to me..."

" That's a really strange poem...but it's good, wonder who the writer was talking about in it?...."Eddie thought.

Once she was done, Eddie floated down. She looked sad for some reason and he felt bad for her.

Spectina is his friend and he does care about her feelings. As he was clueless about her words, but felt pain in his heart.

He had to do something to help

He was a Phantom, after all. As well as her friend.

He spoke up.

"Hey, Spectina..."He said.

Spectina looked up and gasped when she saw the ghost boy.

Her pale cheeks turned red.

"Eddie..." She said nervously, with a blush on her face.

"W-What are you doing here?..."She asked.

"I thought I heard a scream... but I guess I was mistaken..." He said.

It took her a moment to register.

"How much of that did you hear?..." She asked.

"Most of it. Nice poem... something for class?.."He asked.

"Oh... uh... yes..." She lied..."Uh, for class..."Spectina said, since she knew Eddie did not have EVERY class together.

Eddie had a feeling that there is more to this but chose to say nothing.

The ghost boy noticed how his friend's eyes darted her gaze away From him and figured her words to be private but instead of respecting her privacy, Eddie get the need to stay. His heart beat faster, only by slightly, yet again. Any thoughts about the feeling we're pushed away as he walked closer.

Plus he was tired and could use some rest.

"Is this spot taken?..." He asked as he pointed to the spot next to her.

Spectina shook her head. Eddie sat down tiredly.

"Thanks..."He said as he sat down.

He didn't notice that Spectina blushed deeper. Her arms fidgeted with fingers dancing around.

A part of her brain was screaming to talk to the boy, but no topics came to mind.

Soon she was racing mental tracks inside trying to think of something to say and hope it wasn't gibberish.

"Don't say something stupid! DON'T SAY SOMETHING STUPID!..." She thought repeatedly like a mantra.

She looked to Eddie.

Spectina, however noticed that he seemed to have something on his mind.

It was obvious what and why.

"Long day?..."She asked.

"Oh, you know...school, graveball practice, patrolling, homework. Plus my grandpa, The Phantom, visited today... so yeah, that was the cherry on top of the crazy Monday..."Eddie said.

"I see..."Spectina said.

"Also... Azalea and Leona were trying to make me go with them..." He said with a groan.

"Sorry to hear that..." Spectina said.

"All because of this stupid dance. It's driving me nuts..." He grumbled.

That was the odd statement of the day. Spectina knew the boy had reservations about going to the dance.

"Do you now want to go?..." She asked.

Eddie threw his arms up in frustration.

"It's not that I'm against it completely, just that I can't find the right person... someone who ISN'T bigoted towards humans or a conceited moron..."He said, looking upset.

Spectina is concern.

"Oh dear... has he decided not to-..."

A very loud groan cut off her train of thought as Eddie looked down as he shook his head.

"Don't get me started on the dance. If Azalea or Leona asks me out one more time, I'm going to go put myself in my dad's thermos and hopes no one finds me until the dance is over... Eddie said, putting his head in his hands

Spectina looked sympathetic, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset..."The ghost girl sighed.

Eddie sighed.

"it's not you. I just wish I could find a girl that won't drive me crazy and actually want to be with me and not just to get on the cover of some magazine..."Eddie admitted.

"I see. Well, If you can't find one... you could always spend time with me at the mall..."She said.

Eddie looked surprised.

Spectina flinched.

"Uh, that's where I plan on going to ditch the dance...since I still don't have a date..."She said quickly.

Eddie actually looked surprised to hear that.

"It's odd you don't have a date..."He said.

He would have figured that someone would have asked her by now. Spectina isn't exactly unpopular.

She averted her gaze and looked down to her feet as she spoke next.

"I... guess nobody wanted to ask me..." She said sadly.

Eddie got to thinking. He could see that she does seem bothered by this, even if she won't say it out loud.

He had been so focused on his problem of finding a date, he didn't think about how others might be having problems with finding a date too

Still, he never thought Spectina Geiss would be one of them. He thought she'd be with a date by now.

It confused him.

"Who WOULDN'T ask her? Also... she's not asking me... she's not the type to want attention... maybe... hmm... I was gonna ask Donna or Sunny, but Azalea or Leona would pick fights with them and Spectina at least knows them enough to know what they're capable of..."He thought.

He then had an idea as he thought more about it.

"Maybe?..." He considered as he looked at Spectina with a tilted head.

His continuing stare made the ghost girl blush madly as she hid her face behind something.

She has always been a little shy, especially when they were kids. She must be having a hard time in spotlight.

It was something he heard her mother had problems like this when she was a kid too.

But that was another part of life.

Eddie couldn't help but notice how her hair looked in the moonlight. It looked... nice. It was shining very much, like jewels.

Not just her hair but also her ectoplasm. In fact, everything was a different shade of pale, drawing in the boy more and more.

She looked really beautiful . It made no sense nobody asked her.

"Wait, where did that come from?..."He thought, blushing a bit.

He shook his head.

Eddie just kind of stared for a minute something Spectina noticed

She blushed again.

"Um...is there something you want? Eddie?..." Spectina asked, breaking the ghost boy out of his thoughts.

"Look, Spectina. I know we're just friends but would you maybe want to hang out at the dance...you know...as friends..." Eddie asked nervously

"I'd love to..." Spectina said quickly before quickly regaining her composure ..."I...I mean sure...as friend...I don't mind helping out a friend..."She said quickly.

Eddie smiled.

"Thanks, you're the best..."Eddie said, hugging Spectina making her face turn cherry red.

It thankfully managed to die down as Eddie let go and stood up.

"S-sorry..." The boy replied with his own blush. He didn't know what came over him besides relief.

"It's okay..." Spectina had a smile on her face as she replied and for a moment had distracted the ghost boy.

"So... when do we meet?..."She asked.

"I'll meet you at the gym after the game. Uh I promise to shower first..."He said.

Spectina nodded, still blushing

"Okay then, I'll be there..."She promised.

"Cool..."He said.

The two faced each other awkwardly. Spectina was trying not to fly with joy as Eddie didn't know what to do with the feelings bubbling inside.

Eddie looked up at the moon and then at Spectina. She looked beautiful in the moonlight.

He stared a great deal of time before he remembered something.

"What time is it?..." He thought.

He glanced at his watch and flinched when he saw how late it was.

"Oh man, is that the time already...I gotta get home or my mom will get worried..."Eddie said.

He didn't not need his mother tracking him down again. Especially right now.

"I gotta go..."He said.

Spectina nodded understanding.

"Right... I don't want to get you in trouble..."She said.

"Trust me, you won't..." He said.

The ghost boy gave a smile, giving the girl goosebumps, as he stood up. The aura around glowed brighter as he powered up

"Phantom up..."Eddie called, powering up he flew up.

Spectina giggled.

"Is a battle cry even necessary, since you don't change forms like your dad?..."She asked.

"Habit...besides, it's fun to say..." He said as he shrugged.

"I can imagine..."She said.

"Alright...well...I'll be seeing you..."He said.

"Bye Eddie..."Spectina said as the ghost boy took to the skies.

He glanced back to her and nodded. He smiled and waved.

She waved back.

Eddie smiled again before he took off and flew back home.

The ghost boy soared into the air at amazing speeds in attempt to miss a scolding from his mother. And hoping to not have to explain himself.

Clockwork knows how much she'd squeal and rave about this. Worst she could do is post it on social media.

Once Eddie was gone, Spectina allowed herself the opportunity to smile, squeal and literally jump for joy.

It happened!

It finally happened!

She couldn't believe it.

She and Eddie Phantom are going to the dance together on Friday!

She had a date with the guy of her nightmares!

Sure, it was a friend-date but it's a start!

It was better then him going out with Azalea or Leona.

Definitely.

Since Spectina wasn't exactly part of his circle of friends but didn't make his skin crawl. A stark contrast from two in particular.

That alone gave her a shot.

A shot for her dreams to come true.

To be with Eddie Phantom and maybe have the chance to tell him how she really feels.

Spectina placed a hand where her un-beating heart was. Sure, she was born a ghost but she still had a heart for some reason. And it was actually beating like mad.

She knew why.

She had a date with Eidolonius Fenton.

The only guy that she has ever truly had feelings for.

She felt so happy and relieved.

She spent all week agonizing on how to ask him to the dance and now.

Talk about luck.

And she definitely felt lucky about her future now.

"One day, I will tell you how I feel Eddie..."Spectina silently vowed.

Unknown to her, Eddie, as he was flying home, had these thoughts in his head.

"Me and Spectina going to the dance together...wow..."He thought.

Him and Spectina Geiss, one of the prettiest ghouls at school (who also, thankfully, is not a crazy fan girl or a gold digger) were going to the dance together.

He had a date

He actually had a date and even better, with a girl he knew wasn't an obsessive fan.

Or worse, Azalea or Leona.

It was someone he knew that was his date.

"Me and Spectina...going to the dance..."He said out loud, with a weird grin on his face.

Until he noticed what he was doing and shook his head.

Why was he so ecstatic? They weren't going as a couple, just as friends.

"Just... as friends..." He whispered.

Eddie had a weird feeling in his chest and and felt both happy and sad.

He thought as he mulled over those last two words. It seemed going as friend irked him a little.

Worst of all, he didn't know why.

The flight back home was silent as he thought about why. He had only known the ghouls for most of his life, maybe that was why.

And so, Eddie shook his head clear as flew home faster, hoping his mother and father wouldn't pry. Or more specifically his mother or she'd just freak.

Whether from joy at him finding a date, or out of fury for her being the daughter of an old rival.

He didn't know, though she did say at breakfast that she'd be open minded...and to be honest, Eddie doesn't see his mom acting like grandpa the Phantom does, even towards her old rival and her family.

He certainly hope that wouldn't happen since he found a date.

Even though this is just a friend date.

That bugged him for reasons he couldn't see.

The answer was there, but he was too clueless to see it.

Still, he realized that he finally had someone to go to the dance with...which means his friends and their match making can come to an end.

And about time to, since Ceej had even offered to see if his second cousin was available.

Eddie hasn't met her yet but CJ said she was nice. Still, he wasn't too sure about a blind date, even IF that is how his folks met.

Ironic, right?

That wasn't his thing, but someone he knows personally is.

Eddie stopped in midair, tapping the Fenton Phone in his ear to contact his friends.

"Send a message to Selene and the guys...I got a date to the dance on my own...with Spectina... pass it on to the guys, end message..."Eddie said.

The Fenton Phone in his ear beeped, letting him know the message was sent.

Eddie smiled.

He didn't know why but he felt very happy.

Sure, he and Spectina are just friends but there was something inside the boy making him feel alive. The ectoplasm coursing through him seemed to dance and as did the contents of his stomach.

Then again he does eat the occasional monster food. Maybe it was those juming seeds he tried at lunch.

The mostly ghost boy soon flew home, feeling rather...optimistic now.

"Maybe this dance won't be so bad now..."He thought as he kept flying.

Meanwhile

At the Nasty Burger

Selene and CJ were currently on a date.

The vampiress and her boyfriend were enjoying a private moment together. Just the two of them with nothing to distract them. No homework, no extracurricular activities, no crime fighting, no parents to spoil the fun, just some alone time with their other half.

No, just love between CJ Morgan and Selene Dracula.

That's how they want it.

"Having fun?..."CJ said, holding a fry for her.

Selene giggled as he fed it to her. CJ was such a romantic when they were alone.

"With you, always..."She said as she placed her hand on top of his.

Both of their grandparents had freaked out when they learned about the relationship, though their parents were cool with it. It helped that his mom and Selene's mom were more open minded about their relationship. They gave their support one hundred percent...as long as they were home by curfew and didn't do anything they shouldn't.

Kissing was okay though.

Provided that they don't do anything more than that.

The full human and the half vampire scooted in close, looking into each other's eyes. Selene fluttered her eyelashes , putting her arms around CJ's neck and holding him close.

"I don't plan on letting you go, just so you know..."Selene said.

"What makes you think I want you to?..."CJ said as he sighed lovingly.

That earned a giggle from her that he loved.

"Oh CJ..." She said, hugging him tight.

"Please, continue..."He said.

And so she did, feeling grateful to a mutual friend.

So did CJ.

If it hadn't been for Eddie, he probably would never have met his own 'perfect match', Selene. They were happy he brought them together.

He could still remember the first time he saw her. It was a few weeks after Eddie joined Monster High and not long after that, the Dracula clan had moved closer to Amity Park after Selene graduated from Grimwood and wanted to get the know the humans better.

Eddie had wanted to introduce his honorary cousin to his god brothers. CJ has only heard of the Dracula clan and that they were close friends to Eddie's family (even if at that point, Eddie himself had only seen Selene at Grimwood reunions or when their family visited them in Trasylvania since as a kid, she spent most of her formative years at Grimwood as a boarder, as sort of a family tradition). He knew of them but it was the first time he had met a member of them and then it just happened.

CJ had been left speechless by the sight of the half-vampire girl and he almost said something really stupid when Eddie told him her last name and it made him shut up.

Selene Dracula was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. Her being a vampire didn't scare him at all. She could make something as simple as a black top and blue jeans look good.

He knew since that's what she wore the day he met her.

He remembered that he had the biggest crush on her and had trouble talking to her until Eddie helped him out by setting them up.

He had invited the both of them to hang out at the movies, then at the last minute he said he couldn't make it. Something about some ghost, alien and miscellaneous troubles that would keep him busy for a while.

He told them to go on without him but CJ knew his godbrother was making it up and wanted them alone to talk, so he was lending the two lovebirds a hand.

It worked

He was grateful, VERY grateful for the chance. He was thankful with each second he had with her.

With the two of them alone, CJ took his time with the beautiful half-vampire girl.

She felt the same since the moment they met. A sort of "zing" if you will.

His mother thought love at first sight was a sappy lie, but these two showed it CAN work with the right people.

And these two made it work through thick and thin like blood cells. And it wasn't long before the human boy admitted his feeling for her. And to his amazement, Selene told him that she felt the same way and the rest is history.

It has been almost a year since then and now they were deeply in love and with a bright future ahead of them.

One that everyone supported. Even their mothers. Eddie especially took the time to help when needed.

So, yeah. He knew that he owed his god brother a lot. Selene owed him a lot as well.

The two locked eyes in the moment, feeling the world dwindle away.

"Selene..."

"CJ..."

The two were about to share a quick kiss and such but just then, their phones buzzed. Selene reluctantly pulled away from CJ long enough to look at her phone.

Her boyfriend did the same, albeit reluctantly.

They both got a message from Eddie.

"Eddie?..." CJ said, wondering what's is godbrother wanted.

Was he in some sort of trouble?

"If this is about Azalea again, I'm going to personally whack that weed, trim her hair extensions and send them back to Scaris, in multiple packages ..." Selene grumbled angrily , opening the message

"Let me know if you need help..."CJ said as he did the same.

After a quick read, Selene looked ecstatic and nearly dropped her phone as she squealed in delight..

"He did it...He actually did it..."Selene cheered before jumping into CJ's arms.

CJ smiled, holding Selene tight. He could understand why she was so excited for their friend.

"Spectina Geiss, huh? Nice. My friend is going to the dance with the SECOND hottest girl at Monster High..."CJ said.

Selene smiled at that, before giving her boyfriend a peck on the cheek.

"Oh CJ, you're so romantic.."She said.

"Only with you, Selene..."CJ said sweetly.

"Stop it..." She said playfully.

"You know I can't..."He said.

She giggled again.

"I know... I'm being playfully sarcastic..."She said as the two snuggled closer once more, just enjoying being here in the moment with each other.

"So, how long until he and Spectina are a thing?..."CJ asked, knowing that Eddie is clueless.

He knew that she is a nice ghoul and unlike some people, she likes Eddie for sincere reasons.

"Knowing Eddie, they are probably going as friends or something or he thinks Spectina is taking pity on him so he doesn't have to go with Azalea or Leona..."Selene said with a sigh.

"Not the worst reason..." CJ said.

"Maybe, but I even told him point blank that she likes him but as always, he is too clueless to get it..."Selene said.

Ceej sighed.

He has known Eddie since they were babies and he could buy that. The guy was so oblivious when it came to girls.

"According to my parents and uncle Tucker, it's hereditary..." CJ explained.

Selene only shrugged at that. She had no answer to that. Still, she wasn't going to give up here.

"Hey, we managed to get Melody and Athens together and Athens was as big of a flirt as Wyatt and my brother. Eddie and Spectina shouldn't be a problem..."Selene said with determined look on her face.

Ceej chuckled.

"That's the ghoul I love..."Ceej said.

"Oh, I know..." Selene said, kissing CJ on the cheek.

CJ blushing bright red. Selene giggled, he was so cute when he blushed

"So, how are we going to do this? Knowing how shy Spectina is and how clueless Eddie is, maybe we might need a little push..."Selene said as she began forming ideas.

Her thoughts were halted when she felt CJ hold her hand to get her attention.

"Eddie is gonna be so mad if he finds out what we are doing..."CJ said with a grin.

"Hey, once he realizes he loves her, he'll thank us..."Selene said.

"Yeah, he can thank us at their wedding..." CJ said, half jokingly.

"He'd better..." Selene said with a giggle.

The two lovebirds laughed until they calmed down and spoke once more.

"We can plan later. But for now, why don't we walk around the park? Maybe see a movie before curfew or patrol?..."Selene said, fluttering her eyes.

CJ smiled.

"As you wish..."He said with a smile.

Outside

The young couple quickly left the Nasty Burger and headed to a nearby park. CJ's arm around Selena's shoulder, holding her tight against him.

"At least there's no garlic in those burgers..." She said.

"If so... I'd clean it off your mouth... like this..."He said before kissing Selene on the lips.

Selene wrapped her arms around CJ's shoulders and he placed his arms around her waist, pulling her in close. Selene smiled against his lips as they continued to kiss.

"I never get tired of doing this..." She thought happily as the kiss deepened

"What a woman..."CJ thought in bliss as the kissing got more intense as they held each other tightly.

He knew that all of this was thanks to Eddie and he was going to pay him back one day...first by helping him get out of his clueless streak and see that Spectina is more than just a shy friend and that she really likes him.

Maybe even loves him.

And that it doesn't have to be one sided. Even if Eddie is taking his time seeing that.

Hopefully not TOO long.

Anyway, the young couple looked at each other once more and smiled.

"I love you..."The two thought in sync as they looked into each other's eyes.

The two kissed each other for a moment longer before getting up walking arm in arm under the moonlit sky, enjoying their date while they could.

Happy to help a friend out later...

Much later.

A/N (1): Remember, if you have a request to see which couple's offspring and a situation they can be in, send a review or PM me and I will consider it.

A/N(2): Special thanks to NeoMark, BCW and 61394 for assisting me this chapter. As always, you guys are the best :)

REPLIES to my loyal and totally awesome reviewer:

Boris Yeltsin, Jebest4781, The Writer's Call, DJ Rodriguez, Chester A Bum and Guest(1): Thank you :)

StarLord Master: The reason I wrote this fic was that I was nostalgic for it and I wanted to show people how the Many Kids were doing.

Invader Johnny: How is this? Sure, she still hasn't told him yet but at the very least, things seem to be looking up for her now.

61394: :)

Jay The Average Fanboy: How is this?

Luiz4200: A mistake on my part, I meant to add a name but slipped. Sorry. I will give more on Kara's family in a later chapter.

Also, I am thanking you for suggesting the children of Phanty's friends, such as Bram and Selene (Sibella's kids) and Wyatt (Winnie's son).

William Escobar 608:

1) Si.

2) Si.

3) JAJA!

4) :)

5) :(

6) Parece que TODOS los Fentons-Phantoms tienen un lado despistado. Pues, almenos Eddie y su padre son asi.

7) Pobre Spectina, pero almenos estan mejorando.

Mazamba: I am glad that you like Spectina, I somewhat based her on Sally from Nightmare before Christmas and Hinata Hyuuga of Naruto.

I am also glad that you like Eddie too :)

Mali is Jenny's adopted daughter. Since she is a robot and can't reproduce naturally, she and her husband adopted three kids named Lucas, Mali and Steven. I hope that clears things up.

Guest(2): Thank you for the suggestion. I will consider it.

:) I hope you enjoyed this! Remember to read and review :)
