The Many Kids of Danny Fenton
Chapter 17: Annie Part 1
Clockwork, Flower Princess11, BCW and 61394 had just finished watching Eddie's entire day, from breakfast to asking Spectina to the dance.
BCW looked neutral with his hands clasped together, 61394 seemed ready to laugh while Flower Princess11 seemed amused for some reason.
"Looks like Eddie is about as clueless as his father when it comes to love..."She said.
"Like father, like son..."Clockwork said with a chuckle.
The authors nodded in agreement.
"I know that we can only see one day per child but still, I can't help but wonder how things will turn out at the dance..."FP11 said.
"I can't reveal everything. There's no fun in that, but I am sure we'll find out the answer someday..."Clockwork said, before turning to BCW.
"So, Mr. BeConfuzzled Writer. Tell us, what do you think of young Ms. Spectina Geiss?..."Clockwork asked.
"She's interesting. We definitely will see more of her in the future..." BCW said, knowing that Clockwork is all knowing. "Besides, you know everything..."He said.
"True, but as I said, I enjoy conversation and with present company excluded, most of my company tends to be the Observants and they aren't the most fun to talk to..."He muttered.
"Can't argue with that, but I will definitely say, since we will be seeing entirety of the timeline, in a way, Eddie's future with Spectina has just begun. Especially with a scream of a dance they'll have..."BCW answered.
The time master and other match makers looked thrilled to hear this.
"Well, I can't wait to see what kind of future they have..." FP11 said.
"It's gonna be great. A good future just like his parents, though there will be the occasional ghostly enemy attacking..." BCW added. "But that's what to expect..."He said.
The other's couldn't argue with that.
"Eh, it's kinda what you sign up for when you become a superhero..." 61394 added.
The other's nodded.
So far, all of his kids want to fight evil like their father, which is not a bad thing at all. At least, they have a good role model and were using their powers for noble reasons.
Clockwork took one last look at Eddie's timeline and smiled. As all seemed to be in order, he closed that one before turning to his guests, as he knew that they were going to ask who is next.
"So, who is next?..."BCW asked as Clockwork smirked at being right again.
The time master used his staff to show the next candidate and when he did, FP11 looked pleased when she saw a familiar face.
"So, Annie is next..."She said.
Clockwork nodded.
"Indeed..."He said as the time window appeared to show a new world.
The one where Danny Phantom had chosen a certain red haired cheerleader who fights crime as his perfect match and the kind of life and many adventures they had together. From saving the world from the union of Vlad and Drakken that resulted in an asteroid heading to Earth, to an alien invasion and the final battle with Danny's Ultimate Enemy. All culminating with their wedding and the eventual arrival of a beautiful daughter and more children to come after
"Annie Bear next, huh? Neat..." 61394 said.
"Let's do this!..."FP11 said.
"Copy that..."BCW agreed.
Clockwork nodded..
"Very well..."He said.
He was about to play the "footage" and continue with the viewing party. Clockwork however stopped and the authors wondered what is up.
"What is up? Why are we not seeing Annie's life yet?..."The female asked.
"I believe that it is more polite to wait until EVERYONE is present..."The time master said with a smirk.
The authors wondered if that meant that another of them would be joining them.
They were right when a certain male with dark hair came to join the viewing party. A certain member of the dating service and a supporter of Danny's relationship with a certain cheerleading teen hero, as well as, a perky alien princess, a reincarnated alien princess/ Japanese superheroine and a mature young lady who was a close relative to one of the Earth's greatest heroes and a strong heroine in her own right too..
FP11 and the others smiled upon seeing that it was none other than NeoMark.
"Neo..."FP11 greeted.
"Hey guys... heard there was a bit of a party here..." NeoMark Said.
"Who told you?" FP11 asked.
"Deadpool and I were marathoning Mystery Science Theater 3000 when he brought it up..."He said.
"How'd he- actually, I don't wanna know..." BCW said.
When it comes to the merc with a mouth, sometimes it was better not to know. Though with his mouth, that wasn't always an option.
"Hey, NeoMark. What's going on?..."61394 said.
"Not much..."He said before turning to the sole female in the room.
"Hey FP11..."He greeted.
"Hey, anything new happen with you?..."She greeted back.
"Not much... Oh, and before I forget, thanks again for the guy who repaired my wall..."NeoMark said...
"No problem, happy to help..."The female said nicely.
"Oh and thanks for getting my card back, Number Boy .."He said to the male author, who grinned.
''Don't mention it. Dropping that elephant on Wade was fun..." 61394 said.
'''You guys know he's just gonna harass you more now after that..." FP11 pointed out.
"Not when I buy him a life-like wax figure of Betty White holding a chimichanga." Neo said.
"And I think he and I are reaching some form of understanding. Which mainly will involve chimichangas. He loves that stuff like crazy..." BCW said.
"You can say that again..."The other authors thought, except Number boy, who was more than okay with just sitting back and watching the chaos unfold.
NeoMark then took notice of Clockwork's monitors and remembered why they're here.
"So... you guys are checking out Danny's future kids?..."NeoMark asked.
"Yup. From each of the 28 timelines..."FP11 said with a smile.
"Who so far?..."The Danny and Kim supporter asked.
"We've seen his kids with Kara, Sabrina, Kitty, Musa and Phantasma..."Clockwork said with a grin. "And next is Kim's..."He said.
NeoMark heard this and smirked.
"Huh... I just recently saw them having a second kid. Curious to see what's next..." He said.
"Then take a seat and enjoy the show..."BCW said as Clockwork had another chair materialize nearby.
"And pile on all sorts of delicious junk food..." 61394 said as he offered some more of his "endless" popcorn.
NeoMark saw this and smirked.
"Sure, this oughta be good ..."He said as he took a seat.
Clockwork smiled as he rose his staff.
His staff glowed and the authors soon watched the time window show images of the life of an older Anne Madeline Fenton, daughter of Danny Phantom and Kim Possible and the kind of life she would have.
All of the viewers looked excited and fascinated, eager to see more of the .future of Danny's life with his first date.
"All comfy?" Clockwork asked.
The newest guest looked eager to say the least.
"All good so far?..."NeoMark asked.
FP11 nodded.
"Everything good, better than I hoped..."She said.
NeoMark raised a brow.
"Exactly what did I miss exactly? And how come you guys are here anyway?..."He asked.
FP11 quickly filled in on the general basics of Danny's other kids, while admitting she really wanted to see what will happen in each timeline.
"Sounds interesting..." NeoMark said. "Any-who... let's see what these two are up to and how many more kids they have... Last I heard, they were on a "special mission" of sorts..."He said with a wink.
The authors didn't say anything, but they had an idea on what the 'special mission' was and noted his tone.
"You've been spending a lot of time with Deadpool..." FP11 said.
NeoMark had a look of realization and shook his face.
"Yeah... still, I'm interested to see this..." He admitted.
"So am I..." FP11 said with a grin.
"Us too..."The others said.
Clockwork smiled.
"Shall we?..."The Time Master asked, even if he already knew the answer.
"Yes!..." They all said at once, while NeoMark was on the edge of his seat with anticipation.
"Here we go..."CW said as he prepared his time staff.
61394 handed NeoMark a white bag with the picture of a familiar location.
"Double cheeseburger and fries from Nasty Burger?" He offered.
"Sure." NeoMark said.
The Time Master turned to his guests once more.
""Is everyone ready?..."Clockwork asked.
"Yes..."The guests all said again.
The time master quickly rose his staff and aimed it at the screen.
"Time in!..."Clockwork said as he pressed the button.
Soon, the time master and his guests were witnesses to a day from of the life of Anne Madeline Fenton.
It was a beautiful day in the town known as Amity Park.
The sun was shining, birds were singing and families from all over where getting up and getting ready to start their day, by first enjoying a nice, peaceful morning.
"TWEEBS!..."A young, feminine voice yelled.
And some, having a not-so peaceful morning.
In a large, nice, modern looking house, a certain famous family lived and were getting ready for a typical day of their lives. And their lives were plenty unique even before the mother and father met.
In the upstairs, added to the house via help from Earth and the Ghost Zone, in the hallway, there were three bedrooms. The one on the left is the one of significance.
There, a 15 year old girl with short red hair, blue eyes and a nice smile was that was not present at the moment.
It is Anne Madeline Fenton, more commonly known as Annie Fenton, the daughter of world renown hero couple, Danny Phantom and Kim Fenton, formerly Kim Possible. She was the spitting image of her mother, save for her father's blue eyes and her hair, which she shortened to look like her maternal grandmother, or Ann-Ma as she liked calling her.
Beside her, her younger brothers and sister.
A nine year old boy named Danny Jr or DJ Fenton. The second child of the hero couple. He had his father's looks, but his mother's eyes.
Next to him was a pair of fraternal 6 year old twins, a small boy who looked like Danny, but with Kim's hair and a small girl who looked like their mom, but with black hair. They are Manford Timothy Fenton and Francine Jacqueline Fenton, Manny and Frannie for short. The fraternal twins and youngest children, as well as the most mischievous, causing Annie to call them "tweebs" just as her mother called her brothers as kids.
While she loved them, they tended to get on Annie's nerves the most. DJ was a more relaxed person, akin to their father, so he wasn't as bothered.
Anyway, back to the present situation.
Annie also looked annoyed by something. Mostly because something was missing from her room, something that she needed for today and always put in the same spot in her closet. It was something she knew was there because putting it there was the last thing she did before going to bed.
But it is no longer there.
"Where is it?!..." She shouted as she tried to recall what happened.
And who the perpetrator is here.
FlASHBACK
About five minutes ago
Annie was in her room, still fast asleep and cuddling her favorite teddy bear, Wonder Bear, which was dressed like Wonder Woman in her "Silver Age" costume as many called it. It seems some things are passed down from parent to child, and not just biological aspects.
Anyway, with a yawn, she woke up. Her red hair frizzled and her mouth covered in drool, her blue eyes opened to survey the room.
She smiled.
"Time to great this Monday morning..."She says and with a flip, she got out of her bed, landing with cat-like precision.
She smiled, happy with her landing.
"Mom's training paid off..." She thought.
You see, she spent the weekend training with her mother, and thanks to her Possible genes, she aced it. She's been able to handle everything her parents trained her with… except one thing but she chose not to think about it right now.
Anyway, she saw her clothes on her chair, all ready for the day save for something missing.
Her cheerleader uniform.
She looked to the floor in case it fell. Nothing. It's not there.
She groaned and already came up with a list of possible suspects.
She started with the first one.
"DJ! Did you take my stuff again?!.." She shouted.
That's when this person was heard calling back.
"Ask the other ones..." He was heard.
Realizing who he meant, she scowled.
"Manny! Frannie!..."She yelled.
There was some giggling and she knew who the culprits were now.
"Tweebs!..." She yelled.
End Of Flashback
Present Time
Yeah, that was how it all started and the teenage red head was more than annoyed at this.
Phasing out her door, Annie looked around. Normally, she doesn't use her powers indoors, but her youngest brother and only sister weren't as obedient as she is.
"Where are they..." Annie asked as she looked around, urgently looking for them.
It was obvious the twins were using their powers to hide themselves, making things more difficult but the little tweebs forgot who they were dealing with.
She was Annie Phantom and she could do anything, including dealing with a pair of rowdy six year olds.
Anyway, the girl closed her eyes as she listened to her surroundings. Her mother showed her how to rely on all her senses and she needed that now.
Suddenly, giggling was heard all over the floor.
She knew that her little brother and little sister were no doubt the cause of her troubled morning and where now hiding somewhere.
"Seriously you two?..."Annie muttered, getting tired of this happening once a week.
She kept looking around for her "prey"
She sooo didn't have time for this.
She, like her mother, has a routine in the morning she had to go through before starting the day. To mess with it is a massive way to anger her.
"Can you find us in time, Annie?" Frannie giggled.
"I don't think so..." Manny said.
Annie looked around, expecting to pick up a clue of the presence of the twins but they were still using invisibility to stay out of sight.
"So that's how you want to play? Well guess what? I know the rules..." Annie commented with a smirk.
"Too bad for you, Mom's teachings have helped me out..."She thought as she tried listening in on them.
She knew that they couldn't be too far, so she tried to focus and listen in.
Just then, she heard a door open. She suspected the twins, but it was her other sibling. It was Daniel Jr, also known as DJ, prepping himself for the day as well.
"Hey DJ, where are they?..." She said as he walked into the hallway.
DJ, having gotten up to head to the bathroom, saw her looking back and forth. He knew what was going on, or at least had an idea.
It wasn't his first rodeo.
"Don't look at me. I don't know..."DJ shrugged.
"Come on..." Annie groaned in exasperation.
Meanwhile, the second oldest child shook his head and looked uninterested in what his siblings were doing but still spoke up.
"They did it again, huh Sis?..." DJ asked.
"Yes, yes they did! At least, this time it was just my uniform..."Annie said, irritated.
The last time the twins did their little game of "hide and seek" involving theft, they took autographed Wonder Woman picture and it took over an hour to find and get it back.
Annie was just glad that she managed to get it back in one piece. It was a collector's item, given to her by the Amazon herself.
Now, if only she can get her cheer uniform in one piece, she'd be feeling better.
DJ saw the look on her face and knew she'd be at this for a while. He also knew that she tended to be cranky whenever her morning routine was interrupted, so it was best to end this as soon as possible.
"Want some help?..." The little brother asked as his sister nodded.
She could handle the twins easily, but the faster she finds her uniform, the quicker she gets ready and gets to school.
"Please and thank you..."She said to her little brother.
DJ nodded before he turned invisible as he followed his sister's tip toe steps. It was an easy ploy in which Annie would make the twins think they're clever and get them to blow cover with her brother acting as an alert system.
It always worked.
Like Annie, DJ too has learned to rely on his other senses. Especially when dealing with an invisible target.
He listened in.
The twins, meanwhile, giggled invisibly. They weren't quite as stealthy but did not realize it yet. Annie heard this and smirked more.
"Come out, come out wherever you are tweebs..."She called.
More giggling was heard.
The distinct giggling of two Fenton's children, who were having the time of their lives.
"She's pretty mad..." Frannie added with a chuckle.
"Shh, quiet Frannie..." Manny whispered loudly
DJ heard that last one closer to his big sister. He stopped, looking behind Annie.
"I think I hear a giggle. Behind you!..." DJ pointed.
Annie, using her mother's skills, reached behind and grabbed one by the leg and lifted them up.
"And tweeb number one is?..."The teenage girl paused as the intangibility left and it was it was revealed to be Manny.
"Hey, Big Sis..."The little red head boy said innocently.
"Manny? Where's Frannie?..."Annie asked.
That's when another giggle was heard by a nearby potted plant.
"Never mind, I found her..."She said as she reached out and grabbed the other twin by the leg as well and lifted her up.
It is indeed her sister, Frannie, who giggled.
"Hi! Sis!..."She laughed.
"Hi..." Annie said sarcastically as she held both of them up, hanging them upside down.
"Ooh! She's mad!..." Manny said with a smile.
"She's pretty mad..." Frannie added with a chuckle.
"Yes... yes I am..." Annie went as she placed them right side up and on the ground.
Annie frowned as her arms were crossed and she had a stern look on her face too.
DJ saw this and smirked.
"Ooh... trouble..." DJ said as Annie began lecturing their younger siblings over their latest stunt.
"You two know better then to go in my room, what if you had gotten into my mission gear or something? You could've gotten hurt..."Annie said sternly.
Sure, Annie thought the tweebs could be little pests but they were still her baby brother and sister. She didn't want them getting hurt.
She's flip if that ever happened. She'd never forgive herself if they got hurt because of her. And she would EXPLODE if anyone even DARES tries to hurt her siblings.
But right now, it's these two she's mad at and for good reason.
One, she has to get ready for school and this is throwing off her routine and two, she has cheer practice later and just had her uniform cleaned and pressed. She really needed to thank her mom for going that extra length.
"Do you know our grandparents still like to give us ghost hunting gear, right?" Annie said with a pointed look. "You two need to be careful..."She said.
It became clear to the twins she was not pleased with them. They instantly regretted what they did.
Both of them frowned and hung their heads.
"Sorry, Big Sis..." They went.
Annie took notice that they have her cheerleader outfit that was missing and groaned
"So, that's where that went..."Annie thought before she groaned.
Meanwhile, Annie still looked angry and ticked.
"And… WHY do you two have the two pieces of my outfit? I need that for practice today..." She asked.
"We just wanted you to play with us is all..." Frannie said.
"Yeah... you hardly ever play with us anymore..." Manny said.
"I played with you two yesterday..." Annie told them.
They shook their heads.
"You only played with us for 30 minutes before Mommy asked for your help..."Frannie argued.
"Yeah, you barely spent time with us. You're super busy lately..."Manny argued.
"Yeah, either school, or helping Daddy, or doing your own thing..." Frannie added.
"We just wanted you to have some fun with us..." Manny finished.
"That's why we took your uniform, so you'd have to play with us..." Frannie said.
Annie sighed.
"At least, that's all you took..."She said as she picked up her cheerleader outfit.
"Plus, I think the colors from Mom's old outfit looked better..." Frannie said.
"She went to a different school than Dad..." DJ pointed out.
"Yeah, and they were prettier colors than the old red and white..." Frannie said, mostly since purple was one of her favorite colors and she loved it.
"Good thing Dad pointed out ravens are black and the made colors better..." Manny said.
For the past few years, Casper High changed the colors to black and red rather than white and red. It was still a sleeveless top, though no longer with a midriff, and a skirt.
"Yeah... that's true..." Annie couldn't help but agree.
She had seen the pictures in her dad's old high school year book and even she thought the old uniforms were pretty basic.
"But that still does not excuse what you did..."Annie said sternly.
The twins looked to their feet.
"Annie... we're sorry..." Manny said.
"You are?" Annie asked, not sure if she believed them.
They nodded.
"We're sorry, big sister..." The twins went.
Annie sighed as she chuckled to herself. She had a feeling this was what the twins were doing. For all their pestering, the twins love and look up to their big sister. She, in turn, would fight an army for them.
She did once, actually. She protected them from robots about a year ago but that's a tale for another day.
She then smiled.
"Really?..."She asked.
"Really!..." They went in unison.
Soon, a smirk adorn Annie's face.
"That so? Well then..." Annie then wrapped arms around both twins.
"Shared noogies!..."She shouted as she gave both twins noogies, which both of them giggled at.
"Stop Annie!..."Frannie giggled .
"No more. We surrender!..."Manny said, giggling too.
DJ rolled his eyes at this whole thing.
"Glad it's not me…" He said under his breath.
Unfortunately for him, his siblings heard him and this made Annie stop and smirk mischievously, much to his discomfort.
"Why are you looking at me like that?..." He asked as his siblings kept smirking.
Annie turned to the twins, still with that mischievous look on her face.
"Manny… Frannie… truce?..." She said as she pointed to DJ, indicating what she had in mind.
"Truce! GET HIM!..." They shouted together as they ran towards DJ.
"Wait! No! I'm a civilian here!..." He shouted as he tried to dodge.
He was too late and the twins jumped over him as Annie gave him a noogie as well.
"Gotcha, Bro!..."She said as she administered the noogie and made DJ laughed and the twins started tickling him against his will.
"No! Stop! Please!..." He managed to say between laughs.
"Never!..." They said as they kept tickling him.
"I wasn't... even a part... of the theft!..." DJ screamed between laughs.
"All's fair in war and love, big brother..." Manny said, unknowingly getting it wrong.
"Other way, Manny..." Annie told her baby bro as they kept tickling DJ.
"Really?..." Manny asked.
Annie nodded before they went back to "torturing" DJ.
"Why are you... doing this to me?!" DJ asked.
"Because the twins wanted me to play with them and we love each other..." Annie said.
"And we love you, DJ!..." Frannie went.
"I... I love you too... now please... stop!..." DJ begged between laughs.
"Nope..."Frannie said.
"Is this because I took your cookie last night? I already said sorry, I didn't know it was yours..."DJ said but Frannie kept tickling him.
"No, this is just fun for us." Frannie said.
"And we love you that much..." Annie said.
"Come on! Leave me out of this!" DJ shouted
His siblings laughed as they kept tickling him.
"Aww... but you're one of us, remember, Danny Jr?..." Annie said.
She mostly only uses his actual name just for teasing, like this.
"Please stop!..." He went, laughing so hard he was tearing up.
"Kids…"Their mother's voice caught their attention.
Down the hall was Kim, their mother, with her arms crossed and looking a bit disapproving. All of them got up and had their hands behind their backs.
"Morning, Mom…" The all went.
However, Kim's quickly formed a warm smile.
"This is what I like to see... my kids getting along..." Kim said.
"Heh... right..." Annie said while DJ pouted.
"THEY were getting along! I was ambushed.." DJ shouted, squirming out of the grasp of his sisters and brother grasp.
He quickly went over to his mom who had a playful smile as DJ hid behind her. Annie rolled her eyes.
DJ was such a mama's boy at times.
"Looked to me like you're all having fun..." Kim said in amusement.
DJ shook his head.
"I was just a bystander they dragged me into it..."He said.
Kim smiled, rolling her eyes as she hugged DJ.
"Oh, I know baby. I could hear you four from downstairs. I almost wanted to leave you be, but school is today..."The mother said.
"School?..." DJ asked.
When Kim nodded, he made a fake cough.
"Actually... I think I'm sick..."DJ said, not wanting to have to deal with school today.
Kim however, had a knowingly look on her face. This isn't her first time he claimed being sick and luckily, she knew how to deal with this.
"Really? So no pancakes for breakfast?..." She asked and just like that, DJ's expression went from "sick" to ecstatic.
"PANCAKES?!..." DJ asked enthusiastically.
"I'M ALL BETTER NOW!..."He said quickly.
The mother giggled at that typical response that was just guaranteed to happen when she makes those for breakfast.
"Then hurry up, before the syrup soaks them too much..." Kim said.
"I will!..."DJ said since despite gis aversion to the school environment, he can't resist warm fluffy pancakes his parents make.
Especially with syrup.
Manny and Frannie laughed while DJ walked away. Kim looked to the twins, who tried to use their cuteness to their advantage.
"Hi Mommy..."They said in cutesy voices.
Kim just gave the two the 'mom look' , making the two flinched
Annie could relate. She has been on the receiving end of it many, MANY times before.
Like the time she was 12 and brought a real bear cub home. Yeah, not her finest moment for her or for their living room. She was grounded for a week for what happened to their sofa when the mama bear came to get her baby back.
She knew that look anywhere and when it would come.
Anyway, back to the present situation. Namely, with the twins playing keep away with her stuff.
A game they should not be playing.
"What do you two have to say for yourselves?...",Kim said with her hands on her hips.
However, the twins had the right response for times like this.
"We're really sorry, Mommy..."The tweebs said at the same time and Annie knew what would happen now
She was right as Manny and Frannie then gave her the infamous puppy dog pout to their mother. Annie would have caved fast but Kim hardly even flinched, though she did groaned mentally at being on the receiving end of the pout. Sure her mother used it once, but she never had to face such raw cuteness on a regular basis.
Annie, on the other hand, easily gave in and often complained about it and her dad once said something about "what goes around comes around".
Annie thought it karma for using on her father one too many times, especially when it came to buying her teddy bears.
Still it sooo wasn't fair that she had to deal with two little kids who keep using it against her, every single chance they got.
Luckily, the mom look canceled things out. It always did.
Since Annie turned 9, she's developed a sort of antithesis to her puppy dog pout, which all of her kids have picked up. It was meant exclusively for her kids.
It was the perfect defense against their cuteness.
Like right now as the mom look was beating the pout. Annie often wondered why she couldn't be immune to their cuteness like mom was?
It's probably because that's Kim's look and it's something her kids picked up.
Anyway, their mother continued giving her signature "mom look" and then spoke in a stern tone.
"You two are going to return Annie's uniform, is that clear..."Kim said and the twins nodded.
"Yes, Mommy..."They said.
"Good..."Kim said, before she looked to her oldest, who smiled sheepishly.
"Hey Mom.."She said with a wave.
"Annie... they're up to it again, huh?..."Kim said.
"Yeah... I should put my stuff in a safe with a ghost shield..."Annie suggested.
"From now on... don't leave them exposed..."The mother said.
"Right..." The daughter said.
She then shrinked at the stern look her mother sent her.
"And next time get me, don't chase them..." Kim said.
"But Mom-..."Annie's words were stopped by her mother's "mom stare" as she held up her hand.
A technique that rendered any teenage whine or moan to moot.
"Anne Madeline Fenton, they're not bad guys, they're six..."Kim reminded..."As their big sister, you need to set an example..."She added.
Annie frowned and rolled her eyes.
"Not my fault you and Dad's "special mission" ended up with those two..."She muttered.
Kim heard this and gave her a scathing look, Annie actually shirked back at it.
"Annie..." Kim warned.
The teenage ghostly heroine smiled nervously.
"Y-Yes... Mom?"
"You know better than to make jokes about that..."Kim said strictly.
Annie cringed at her mother's look and nodded.
"Okay..."The teenager said in defeat.
"So... promise not to chase them?..."Kim said.
"Yes..." Annie said.
Kim smiled.
"Good..."
Kim nodded as she decided to give Annie a hand with something. Kim walked over to Annie, running her hands through her hair.
She could sympathize with her daughter, twins were never easy. She had personal experience with her own "tweebs", who have long since grown up and now had careers and families of their own. They might have been a pain growing up but she did love them. Even now, she still couldn't couldn't believe her brothers had found women to settle down with and kids of their own.
For some reason, the idea still bugs her those two have matured, but she's mostly over it.
Mostly!
Danny was there to help her get her discomfort out of her system in his own way. For that, she was grateful since he was always attentive. Plus, he gives good foot rubs when she's stressed.
Anyway, she got her mind of that issue and went back to the current moment. Kim looked to her daughter and saw her current state of dress and her hair.
She thought the bedhead was cute, but not fitting for a teenager descended from the Possibles or the Fentons.
"One example is dealing with that unsightly bedhead..." Kim said as she started helping her daughter with her hair..."Good thing you shortened to look like your Grandma Ann, it'd take forever if it were me my length..."Kim said.
"Yeah... I'm surprised no bad guy ever grabbed you by the hair or something..."Annie said.
"They can try... but I'm too fast and tough to handle..." Kim said as she started playing around with her daughter's hair.
"Mom, cut it out..." Annie said faux exasperation, straightening her short hair.
Mother and daughter giggled.
"Sorry... I can't help it. You got our red hair and it looks better straightened out..."Kim said.
Once Kim finished, Annie nodded.
"All done?..."The teen asked.
"Yes..."The mom said.
"Thanks..."Annie said.
Kim smiled at her oldest.
"So, breakfast?..."She asked.
"I still need to get ready and get changed..."Annie said, since she was still in her sleepwear.
"Best hurry... the twins are getting more gluttonous every day..."Kim said in a knowing way.
"It's your fault... that Possible gene that makes us smarter and more skilled than most people, even without Dad's powers, makes us burn a lot of calories when we do flips and stuff..." Annie said jokingly.
"I'll remember than when YOU have kids..." Kim joked.
"That's not going to happen for a LONG time..." Annie muttered, heading to her room
"I'm sure you and RJ will laugh about this..." Kim said with a smile.
Annie blushed upon hearing that and frowned.
"MOM! We're just friends..." Annie insisted.
"For now..." Kim thought in amusement.
"Sure, you are. And you and Sunny didn't burn a 10 ft hole into a billboard when you were nine..."Kim said sarcastically.
"We apologized for that and besides, RJ is just a friend like Ceej or Tuck..."Annie insisted.
Kim, however, didn't forget the amount they paid. So she felt teasing her daughter was fair game.
"But you don't spend 50% of your time out of home with those two... alone..."The mother said with a smirk.
Her daughter rolled her eyes as she shook her head.
"Not funny, Mom..."Annie thought, shaking her head.
Her and RJ? Yeah, right.
There was no way like that would ever happen. They were just friends and nothing else.
"Just... friends..." Annie said to herself..."Yeah... that's it..." She thought to convince herself
Though part of her wasn't too sure. She tried not to think it, but her mother wouldn't let her.
It's like her mom wanted her to get married now or something. It really got on her nerves when she did that.
Like right now.
"Denial, it's more than just a river..."Kim said in a teasing way.
"Mom, not funny, that joke is older than Mr. Frostbite..."Annie said as she went through the door, shaking her head at what her mother just said.
"Ah... early stages of young love..." Kim whispered to herself.
Annie heard her and blushed again.
"MOM!..."Annie whined.
Kim laughed.
"Sorry..."Kim said.
Annie rolled her eyes again and returned to her room as Kim went downstairs. She would complain later but right now, she needed to get ready for school.
"Don't be too long..."Her mother said.
"I'll be quick..." She promised.
Kim knew she wouldn't be quick.
Kim rolled her eyes as she knew that her daughter would be taking another five minutes before joining them.
"I gotta apologize to Mom and Dad for all the times I was a hassle..." She thought as she headed to the kitchen.
Ever since she became a mom, she started to feel a little bad for some of the stuff she did when she was growing up. From hiding her relationship with Danny from her father to hiding the times they made out in her room without them knowing.
She now had an idea of what she put them through and would make it up to them. At least, she never brought a bear cub home or burnt a billboard with her quarter dragon 'rival'.
Then again, Kim didn't have superpowers and her parents should be grateful for that.
The mother went downstairs to serve her kids. As she served the boys, she saw her eldest daughter was still not there yet.
"Hurry up, Annie. You don't want your breakfast to get cold..."Kim said as she served a plate to Frannie.
"Sure, mom..."Annie said as she did her routine on foot, since her folks prefer not using powers in the house, unless it is necessary.
"Can I have Annie's breakfast if she's too long?..." DJ asked.
"No..." Kim responded and DJ pouted.
Kim noticed that there was another family member, who was STILL not at the table yet.
"Danny! Assuming you didn't leave because ghost attack, alien invasion or Camille broke out of prison again and you're hiding... breakfast!..."Kim called.
"Coming, my blue fox!..." Danny called back in a loving tone.
Kim giggled.
She loved when he called her that pet name. Even after all these years, the lovebirds could still act like they were teens again with nicknames.
It was always a sign of how much they love each other.
"Hurry up, Spaceman!..." She said.
Meanwhile, DJ and the twins rolled their eyes.
"Mom... you're in your 30's... can you and Dad stop using the nicknames from when you were Annie's age?..."DJ said.
"Nope..." Kim said.
"Why?..." DJ asked, not getting it.
Kim giggled as she thought fondly of her soulmate upstairs, who was likely still shaving or something.
"You'll understand when your older..."She said to her son.
"Not likely,mom..."DJ said before going back to his pancakes.
Kim laughed and just resumed her mom duties.
"You just aren't old enough to understand how love works..." Kim said as she thought fondly of her Spaceman.
Many people assumed "celebrity marriages" won't last, and the idea not everyone's soulmate is the one they date in high school. Not only did Danny and Kim disprove that, they made it work.
The fact they have four kids and are still in love is proof of that fact.
"Love like ours is rare... but worth it..." Kim thought as she kept serving them breakfast to her children.
All the while, waiting for her eldest, who is still getting ready.
Upstairs
Annie went back to her room to get her handbag and her text book. Double checking that she had everything, she put her backpack on.
"Let's see...phone...school stuff...cheer uniform..." Annie listed as she checked her items.
"I bet Tawnie doesn't have to bother with her brother doing their gags... It's good thing I love them so much or I'd stuff them in the Thermos as soon as their own ghost forms kick in..."She muttered.
Then again Tawnie the youngest and the biggest brat in Casper High. Actually, she was the biggest brat in Amity Park, she and her brother, Ned Jr, weren't exactly close, though it was mostly on Tawnie's party more than anything.
She didn't want people to know she was related to a 'loser.
Annie would never be ashamed of who she's related too, even her Uncle Larry, aunt Charlotte and their kids.
Sure, they were pretty geeky but they are still family and they were nice and decent. Most of the time, anyway.
The Rockwallers were the polar opposite.
Not only is the nuclear family totally self centered and unbearably awful but she heard that Tawnie's mother, Bonnie, was never close with her big sisters, who she last heard, had to get jobs as waitresses in Lowerton due to dropping out of college when their mother refused to let them stay rent free and their own marriages failing in less than a month after their husbands couldn't put up with them or their behavior anymore.
None of them had kids, mostly for their vanity, despite their good looks long since faded.
Annie shook her head.
She put the Rockwaller family out of her head for now and went back to getting ready for school.
She already had her school gear and cheer uniformed safely packed up.
"What else am I forgetting?..."She asked out loud.
She reached for something that wasn't there in her pocket. That's when she remembered.
'Right, my ghost gear...how can I be so clueless?..."Annie thought as she opened her closet, typed in her password into her 'secret' compartment and grabbed the gear.
A Fenton Thermos, co-designed by the Possible family, along with her new, upgraded "Phantommuncator".
"There it is..."She said as she picked it up.
Her mother gave her old Kimmunicator to Danny years ago. Once Annie was 13, he had it updated and gave to her. Kim offered to give her a wrist watch like her own, but Annie felt there was something retro about it. Plus, it made her honorary Uncle Tucker proud that someone still uses PDA-esque technology, especially since he'd never accept smartphones out of stubborn pride.
She didn't understand why he never upgraded to one, but her father said it was just his thing.
Anyway, she went back to what she was doing. Once she made sure that she had everything, she smiled.
"That should do it..."Annie thought to herself.
She observed her clothes, a green shirt with no sleeves with some red on it, a sort of blend of her parents' shirts as Freshmen. She had the same kind of jeans as her mother, not caring they were hand-me-downs since her mother's high school days , plus they were comfy jeans. She felt these jeans no doubt saw some action with the first person to wear them and it made her feel like part of it.
Sure, she had some other stuff from places like Club Banana but she liked her mom's old jeans, her old device and other hand me downs.
She felt like they had a lot history in them.
She didn't mind it one bit, plus she saves her allowance instead of blowing it on pricy clothes or jewelry like some kids her age do. Besides She took pride in being their daughter.
Like Superman and his son, Batman and his son, Spider-Man with his daughter, Annie took pride in being part of the next generation of heroes, especially since she has two of them to look up to and make proud.
Heck, as cocky and lazy as he was, even Ken Tennyson wanted to make his dad proud too.
There was just something amazing about being part of a legacy like those of heroes that just made them proud. Having a superhero for a father and a martial arts heroine for a mother, she felt even more pride in who she's descended from.
But right now, she also had to make sure she has to have a normal life and get to school.
Once she slipped on her shoes, she was done getting dressed.
She looked around her room, making sure the bed was done and everything was put back in its place.
"Perfect..." She thought.
Nothing out of place and everything back to normal. That is how she likes it.
She was about to go when she saw the most important part of her room. She spotted her cherished Teddy Bear collection and smiled. Annie walked over looking at the bears and smiled in fondness.
"Glad they left THESE alone..."She thought as she looked at them with adoration.
Her collection had started with a hairless teddy bear her grandparents had gotten her when she was one and had grown from there with her most beloved being a collection of pairs of her two favorite people in the world.
She could remember the day she got them being one of the most important in her life. It was crazy, traumatizing, but they came through in the end. Especially since she had finally used her father's most powerful attack.
Before Annie could keep remembering her dad, her mother's voice was heard again, snapping her out of the memory.
"Annie, hurry up..." Her mom called down.
"Coming mom..." Annie called back before she kissed the foreheads of her two favorites.
"These two were so worth it all..."She thought.
Annie stepped back, checking one last time to make sure that she had everything. Once done, she smiled.
"Well... time to embrace the day..." She said to herself as she headed to the door.
She then went downstairs to join her family. She saw that her brothers were practically inhaling their food, while her sister was eating at a slower pace.
All in all, a typical Fenton family morning. Especially when four of those Fentons had the Possible DNA.
"About time..." Her mother said, seeing her.
"Aww man... I was just about to eat your breakfast..." DJ whined as he finished his second pancake.
"Sorry, not sorry baby bro..."Annie said as she messed with his hair.
"Knock it off, Annie..." DJ said, playfully swatting her hand away.
"Aw but you look so cute with your hair all messy. It suits you..." Annie teased.
The twins giggled while DJ redid his hair. He knew how things were in the morning. It was just another normally hectic day, albeit slightly more annoying.
"Ha ha..." DJ went with making a face while Annie stuck her tongue out at him.
DJ merely went back to eating his eggs, ignoring his big sister and the tongue sticking out,, while their mother cleared her throat loudly.
"Annie, be nice to your brother..." Kim told her oldest daughter, who gave a faux pout.
"But it's fun..." Annie said, her lip still quivering.
Kim responded with a faux mom look.
"Very funny, young lady..." The mother said with a smile... "But I think you should focus on your breakfast as well..."She said.
"Alright..." The daughter replied as she noticed the hungry looks she got from her siblings.
The dinner table was like a battlefield, only with ghosts. She could see the twins sneaking food off each other's plate as they ate, with DJ holding a hand up to seat away any potential swipes at his food.
At the very least, the twins didn't use any of their powers but that didn't mean they didn't pick up how to duplicate or could sneak some with invisibility if you didn't keep your guard up.
Being involved with a superhero with those powers since being 14, Kim has learned how to handle his ghost powers, especially in the bodies of such adorable little troublemakers.
"I would like some more pancakes, please..."DJ said.
"May I have some juice?..."Manny asked.
"Me too please...also more pancakes..."Frannie said, gesturing to her empty plate.
"Yeah, I wanted to ask too..." Manny said, pointing to his own plate.
Kim laughed.
"Coming up but let's at least wait for everyone to make it to the table..."The mother said.
"Okay Mom/Okay Mommy..."The kids said and went back to eating.
Annie smiled at the typical scene. She saw her mom was serving the food but still didn't see any sign of her dad.
"Where's Dad?..."Annie asked.
"Right here..." Was heard.
Just then, her dad walked in and her mom smiled widely upon seeing him.
"Morning, family..."He said.
"About time..." Kim said as she walked to Danny.
"Did I miss anything, Kim?..."He asked his wife.
"Yeah... how I like to start the day..."Kim said as she gave him a good morning kiss.
Danny smiled.
"I would love how I start my day too..."He said lovingly to his wife after the two shared a kiss.
"Oh gross..." Annie thought as she looked away from the sight of her parents acting gross with each other.
By the time she opened them, she saw her parents not kissing as her father chose to go into the dining room to greet his children.
The children smiled upon seeing their father. So did, Annie.
"Morning, Dad!..." Annie went as he patted his daughter on the head as he walked past her.
"Morning, Daddy!..." The rest of the kids went.
"Kids..." Danny nodded... "How are my boys and the smallest angel?..."He asked as he messed with Manny and DJ's hair kissing Frannie on the cheek.
"As troublesome as usual..." Annie went with an eye roll.
Danny chuckled, figuring what happened.
"Have a busy morning, Annie bear?..."He quipped.
Annie rolled her eyes before she kissed her dad on his cheek.
"Busy morning of wishing I was an only child..."She muttered under her breath but Kim heard.
"Annie..." Kim said in almost a warning.
"Sorry, I love my siblings... 99% of the time." Annie said sitting down across from her mom.
"Just make sure that 1% isn't heard..." Kim said as she passed Annie her breakfast of pancakes, eggs and orange juice.
"Thanks Mom..."Annie said.
"Just be nice to them..." Kim said.
"I'll try..." Annie said as she started eating.
Her parents began talking now.
"Why were you so late anyway?..."Kim asked.
Danny shrugged.
"That's what happens when you deal with the Fright Knight AND help Ben with Vilgax again..."He said as he went to where their kids were.
Kim shook her head.
"Even time you go over to Ben's by yourself, something always happens when you two have your 'guys night' ..."She said with air quotes.
She is not exaggerating. The last time he went to see his old friend, Skulker and Khyber tried to compete for their heads before Technus somehow had gotten his hands on a plumber ship.
Danny merely shrugged.
"It's not every day, Kim. Besides, Ben and I can handle it..."Danny said.
Kim rolled her eyes.
"Remember when you, Tucker, Ben and Jake had your guys night when Annie was 12?" She asked fondly.
Danny shook his head.
"Never going THERE for that ever again..."He mumbled.
"Come on... you handled that army of skeletons from the Fright Knight like always. Charmcaster's monsters couldn't be that hard..."She said.
"It is when Charmcaster's birthday is on the same day..." Danny muttered.
His kids, on the other hand, were very interested in hearing this.
"You helped with, right, Dad?..." DJ asked.
"You know it, Son..." Danny said as he patted his head.
"I wanna fight the Fry Knight!..." Frannie said.
"That's Fright Knight, Frannie..." Danny said with a chuckle.
"Can we come next time, Dad?..." Manny asked.
"Maybe when you're 13..." Danny said as his kids pouted.
"That'll take forever..." DJ went, wanting to get involved like Annie has lately.
"Trust us, soon as they're older, you four will be awesome..." Danny said.
"As ghostly superheroes?..." Frannie asked.
"As a family. And, also, as superheroes too..."Danny said.
"Can I have a cape?..." Manny asked.
"Only if you promise to clean it..." Kim said.
"Okay!..." Manny went.
"I wanna wear a cape too!..." Frannie said.
"Dad doesn't even wear a cape..." DJ said... "Plus, didn't Mrs. Rydinger's fashion consultant say no to capes? What was her name again?..."
"Edna Mode, the self-proclaimed master of the superhero fashion world..."Kim said.
"Even though it's mostly those aligned with the NSA in Metroville who listen to her..." Danny added.
"I personally like the Dupain-Chang-Agreste line better..." Kim commented with a smile.
She was referring to a fashion line from Paris that sold outfits based on superheroes that were native to that city and it was still gaining traction.
"Yeah but Edna Mode is STILL a leading expert on costume design ..."Danny said, having personally met the woman before and has admired some of her work, particularly when she offered her services implementing tech into his looks.
He even commissioned for a new suit for his 30th birthday, only to reject design options since he felt his more simple look was preferable.
Hey, some designs are too iconic to mess with.
"Plus, she does have a point that some capes can be impractical for some heroes..."He admitted.
Their oldest rolled her eyes. Though there were points given, the young girl wanted a cape. She thought it would look amazing as she flew through the clouds. Besides, lots of the top heroes in the world STILL wore capes and made it work.
"And yet a good chunk of superheroes ignore her because one: they look cool, and two: their either hard to hurt or too heavy to pull like Superman or the cape has a practical use like Batman..." Annie said.
"Guess we know who we're not consulting for costumes now..." Danny said.
The family laughed at this as the eldest daughter had a question.
"So, Dad? Are we still going to the water park this weekend?..." Annie asked.
Danny crossed his arms.
"I don't know... I might have to head to the Ghost Zone first on Saturday, check up on Frostbite and-" That's when he saw all four kids doing the puppy dog pout, making him flinch.
"Please, Daddy?" Annie asked.
"We wanna go!" DJ went.
"Pretty please?" The twins went.
Danny had a nervous look on his face and turned to his wife.
"Kim, quick! The Mom look!..." He said to this wife.
To his displeasure, she was doing it too.
"It'll be fun for us all..." Kim went.
All five of them were doing it now and all directed at him. Danny sighed.
"Of course... all of them inherit from her the one thing none of my powers can resist..." He sighed before laughing.
"Sure..."He said in defeat.
All of the kids cheered as Kim chuckled.
"Glad I taught them that..." She thought.
Danny shook his head at his wife's mischievous smile.
In a straight forward fight, even without beams, flight or other powers, Danny would win again Kim. Kim's almost Captain America-like pique condition was a moot point since Danny's ghost form gave him superior strength, durability and reaction speed automatically. Kim always thought it was kind of a cheat. However, when it came to the puppy dog pout, he had no counter whatsoever.
One pout he can probably handle now that he's had years of exposure. Two is a tougher. Four is impossible. Five? BEYOND impossible.
Whenever Kim did it though, it was hardest. When she did it with the whole family, it was an instant win against Danny.
As a defeated Danny sat back down, Kim resumed getting food for her family.
"Well... eat up..."The mother said to her family.
"Before Manny grabs your food..." DJ quipped
"Hey..."Manny said, poking DJ in a ticklish spot under his armpit.
DJ choked back a laugh.
"You're right, it could be Frannie..." DJ added
"Hey!..."Frannie frowned, also tickling DJ and getting him to laugh.
"No! Not again!..." DJ said between laughs.
"Knock it off, he's going to choke..." Annie said as she ate up.
"Okay..." The tweebs went, they let him go, listening to their sister for once.
"Yes! Please respect the older brother here!..." DJ went and was happy that he got to eat his breakfast in peace
For now.
"Soon as it's finished, they'll be back to pestering you. Glad it's not my sitch anymore..." Annie said and DJ groaned.
"You just love to make me worry about the rest of my day, huh? Are we sure you're not planning to be a villain?..."He muttered.
Annie actually laughed at that.
"So not evil, little brother... but I can't deny the fun in seeing them mess with you..." Annie said as she kept eating in relative peace.
Across the table, Kim handed Danny his breakfast.
"For the most handsome thing I've seen since I was 14..."Kim said as she kissed her husband.
Danny smiled.
"Thank you, my blue fox..."He said lovingly to his wife.
"Spankin' of you to say that, Spaceman..." She said lovingly to her husband
They soon got all mushy with each other, much to their children's dismay, as they just wanted to focus on eating and NOT their parent's love life.
"Oh, gross..."Annie thought again.
A few moments later
Breakfast continued and it was just the typical eating, family chatting and worst of all, parents flirting and giving goo goo eyes at each other.
Annie ignored that last one and tried to focus on her breakfast.
She then realized her father was still here. She had heard he was going to work at the space station two days ago.
So why is he still on Earth?
"I thought you'd be up in space this week, dad..."Annie said after swallowing her food.
Danny shrugged.
"I'm heading up to the space station later today..."Danny answered.
Thanks to technology skyrocketing in the last few decades thanks to Stark International, Wayne Industries and many other corporations giving a hand , space travel has improved greatly in the last few years, making NASA travel much faster than it was years ago. Danny could come and go as if it were a drive to a 9-5 job on Earth. In some ways, it is. At least for him.
One of the perks of flying slightly faster than a space shuttle.
"What are you going to be doing, dad?..."DJ asked.
"The usual..." Danny said.
"Fighting aliens?..." Manny asked eagerly.
"That's Ben 10's thing..." Annie pointed out.
"So, what is it, Dad?..."She asked.
Danny shrugged.
"Nothing much, just some routine maintenance checks..." He answered.
"Sounds boring..." DJ said.
"Yeah... but the exciting stuff happens at home..." Danny said.
"I'm going out on patrol tonight... Annie, wanna come?..."He asked and Annie smiled widely.
"You know it!..."She exclaims.
"Just remember to be home on time, Annie. If a ghost or bad guy causes trouble, you have an excuse to be late..." Kim said.
"Unless you're with RJ..." Danny joked.
Annie blushed and frowned as her siblings giggled, knowing what this is about.
"Not again..." She thought bitterly.
"What's this? Are they dating now?..." Kim asked.
"Maybe..." Danny said.
His daughter looked ticked off now.
"We're just friends, Dad..."Annie insisted.
Danny and Kim shared a smile.
"Sure, Annie-bear..." Kim went.
Danny had told her about the obvious attraction between these two.
RJ, Ron Stoppable Junior, was the son of her best friend and former sidekick, along with his beloved Yori. Having black hair and his mother's eyes, he was basically a more mature version of Ron.
As he's the son of her best friend, and very much a good boy, she approved. Even Danny approved, even if he wasn't ready to see his daughter dating yet but it was clear that those two were the closest of all the kids.
Danny had always had some suspicion that if he hadn't chosen Kim, fate would have landed her with Ron. Perhaps fate decided if not they, their kids will do.
He never shared this for obvious reasons and put this aside as he saw his other kids teasing her.
"Annie and RJ sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!~..."The twins and even DJ sang along.
Sure, he was pretty mellow but he couldn't help but pick on her on this. Plus, there were days where the tweebs had the energy of like a dozen little kids and they never tire to pick on her when it came to boys.
Like right now.
"First comes love! Then Comes Marriage!~..."They kept singing.
Annie got annoyed.
"Cut it out!..."She shouted at them, but they kept signing and laughing loudly.
"Kids..." Kim warned, sending her Mom look.
All of them stopped and went back to eating, not daring to look up. Annie smirked.
"Karma..."She thought.
"You rock, Mom..."Annie said.
"Thanks, Annie-Bear. Now, better finish up..."The mother said and her daughter did so.
Annie eventually finished her breakfast and got up.
"Well, all finished..." She handed the plate to her mother.
"Do you need a ride?..." Kim asked.
"Nah... I got time, I can fly..." Annie said.
"Smart thinking." Danny said. "Just hope you won't have to worry about trouble on the way. The school is okay if it's an emergency, but at least hurry."
Annie nodded.
She grabbed her bag and started for the door.
"You got lunch money?..." Kim asked.
Annie nodded as she made her way to the front door.
"I'm heading to school, later..."Annie said.
"See ya, Hon..."Kim said.
"Bye, Annie-Bear..."Danny waved.
"Bye Annie..." DJ said and the tweebs said, though they didn't even look up from their food.
Annie smiled before heading out
"Later, family!..." She said, waving to everyone.
Once she was gone, Kim looked to the kids.
"You two hurry up and get ready too..." She said to her kids.
"Sure, mom..."DJ said as he went back to eating. So did the twins.
Kim then looked to her husband, who was still here.
"Sp, when do you go?..."The wife asked.
"Another hour..." Danny said.
"Well... I go to help out with GJ in another 2 hours... that leaves us about one hour after I drop off the kids..." She smiled slyly.
Danny smiled back.
The kids shuddered.
"I can't believe I'm saying this... but I can't wait for class..." DJ muttered.
The Tweebs nodded in agreement as they parents kept giving mushy looks to each other.
"PLEASE DON'T SCAR YOUR KIDS!..." The twins went, earning a laugh from the parents.
Outside
Once outside, Annie looked at her watch and saw that she should be leaving now if she wants to get to school on time.
And there is only one way to do that.
"GHOSTING OUT!..."Annie shouted her battle cry as rings formed around her body.
In less than a minute, her blue eyes turned green and her clothes were replaced with a black and white jumpsuit that somewhat resembled her mother's battle suit.
Wasting no time, Annie took to the skies in order to get to her destination.
Casper High.
Unknown to the quarter ghost girl, something had been watching her from a distance with...interest.
"The offspring has left the protective barrier..."A shadowy figure said, watching from several miles away.
"Looks like it is true, she has inherited her father's powers. She know doubt combines that with her mother's prowess..."
"Due to her genetics, is she the perfect base?..."Another shadowy figure said.
"From the Intel that we have gathered these last few weeks, she is a perfect choice..."The other said.
"Does our designated leader agree?" One more said.
"Yes...she is perfect..."The being said with a smirk..."The one called Annie Phantom will do."
Annie just blissfully kept flying to school, unaware of a dark figure who had plans for her
Oh boy.

REPLIES to my loyal and totally awesome reviewer:
Star Lord Master: Dash most likely never amounted to anything. As for Dale and Kwan, not completely sure. They either ended up like Dash or changed and did something with their lives. I will let that question be answered later in Danny and Kara and I will let the spin off authors come up with their own thing.
