The Many Kids of Danny Fenton
Mako-chan Part 3
While Mako and the twins were at school, their father (who ended up having the afternoon off today due to finishing early), had gone to get some groceries and was currently fighting against Johnny 13, who was once again disturbing the peace by causing some chaos on his motorcycle.
Like many ghosts, Johnny doesn't age but he did update his looks and his bike. He is now sporting a wild pony tail, a goatee and still wore his jacket while his motorcycle was dirtier looking now. He is also still as dangerous as ever though as he kept using his bike to fire blasts at him.
"And during my afternoon off too..."Danny thought as he dodged them easily before he fired a couple of ecto blasts at him.
Johnny dodged them and Danny then stopped to make demands
"What do you want this time Johnny? Shouldn't you be tuning that stupid motorcycle or ogling other women while ignoring Kitty again?..."Danny said with a hint of sarcasm.
"Relax Phantom, I'm just blowing off some steam. Me and Kitty had another spat and Kyle and Roxy aren't liking it. What do you do when you and that statuesque wife of yours have a lovers' quarrel?..."Johnny asked.
Yeah, the ghostly biker married Kitty and they had a pair of twins named Kyle and Roxy, who were just two years younger than Mako. Johnny's kids also inherited his bad luck powers and mischievousness, as well as having bad luck shadows of their own.
The ghostly man rolled his eyes and answered with some edge in his voice.
"We actually talk things out. This is the third time this month that you two had a spat. If your family isn't doing so well, then how about seeing a therapist... out of Amity Park?..."Danny suggested harshly and Johnny rolled his eyes.
"There's no fun in that..."Johnny said and Danny rolled his eyes again.
He just wanted to get going. Plus, he was sick of dealing Johnny again after so many times and he is also starting to feel a little peckish and wanted to have a bite to eat.
"Look, Johnny, you already know I'm stronger than you and I'm also still capable of punching you to the moon...now you can either go back to the Ghost Zone willingly or I can make you go..."He said in a warning voice.
Johnny merely scoffed.
"Still as impatient as ever but don't worry, I'm gone..."He said as he went back onto his motorcycle.
"See ya on the flip side, Phantom..."Johnny said before driving off.
Danny sighed and grabbed the bags that were full of groceries for the restaurant.
"At least these are still okay for Lita to use..."He muttered before he decided to get out of there before the reporters show up.
He also had to get to going since he wanted to enjoy some daylight hours at a certain restaurant his wife ran.
Later
At Makoto's restaurant
Danny, who after he finished putting the groceries away, changed back to human form and was now at his wife's restaurant to both eat and help out.
"Glad to see you back, Anata..."His wife said upon seeing him.
"Glad to be back..."Danny said with a chuckle.
Makoto smiled and while she handed him an apron, she had to check on the workers.
"Make sure to finish the online orders on time, especially those sweet potato fries..."She said as she went back to the front of the restaurant.
"On it..."One of the workers said since the boss was busy.
"Still as dedicated to staying on current trends..."Danny said as he recalled someone, a friend of his employs who used to be too stubborn and prideful with his own business that it did more harm than good.
Of course, once that burger place was bought by his friend, that former owner had no choice but to comply but that's a story for another day.
Anyway, as Danny carried the coffee beans, went to speak with Makoto.
"By the way, Ben called..."Danny said.
"Does he need help with Zit Scare again?..." His wife asked.
Danny chuckled. She's referring to a villain whose name is spelled Zs'Skayr.
"First, his name is pronounced "zis scare..." He said, earning a bashful smile from his wife. "Second, it's because his daughter's visiting Casper High because of the soccer game today. He asked, since he and Ami are busy, if we could invite her to dinner..."Danny explained.
"Of course... she's our goddaughter, after all..." Makoto went.
She then noticed Danny's odd smile as he placed the coffee beans down.
"What is it?..." She asked lightly.
"I remember a time when you hated him, and hated the idea of him and Ami being a thing even more..." He said.
Makoto laughed back at how she used to act.
"Well, it's clear he made Ami happy and he's not a terrible person. Besides, your other friend, the one in red, is the one who gets on my nerves the most. Plus, I'm pretty sure his mother-in-law still has issue with him..."She said.
"Yup..." Danny said.
"Anyway, we gotta get ready for the lunch rush before noon. Tell Lancer to clean up tables 5 and 7..."Makoto said as she headed back into the kitchen.
"Right..."Danny said as he helped his wife by going to order his former teacher, something that felt cathartic to him.
"This is so satisfying..."He thought.
At Casper High
Mako-chan just got out of class with Mr. Spudinski and was now walking down the hall. It was now free period and she was relieved to be out.
However, she also has yet to speak to him yet.
"Darn it, I gotta find him..."She thought in frustration as she went to her locker.
Unfortunately for her, someone appeared and spoke up. Someone she didn't want to see.
"So Mako, you free tonight?..."An annoying voice was heard.
"Baka!..."Mako thought with an eye roll and saw who it was.
It was Paola's younger brother, Dash Jr, who also happens to be a football player and bully. He is also had a thing for Mako too, mostly due to her status as the daughter of the town superhero and for her looks.
"Dash, I already told you that I don't want to go out with you. I am not into hurting people and you are your idiot father's imitator..."Mako said in annoyance.
Dash Jr merely ignored her tone and continued to try and get her attention.
"You know, you're beautiful when you use im-imiter-imi...uh...whatever that word was..."Dash said lamely.
Mako rolled her eyes again as he was just as obnoxious as ever
You see, Dash Jr is around CJ and Tuck's age and his dad is a coach...however, because of his parents, he thinks that he must be like them and be just as rude. It infuriates everyone else that he continues a stereotype that they think they need to make a reality.
Plus, he and the rest of the A-listers have been trying to recruit her since her Freshman year but she rejected them, since she did not want to hang out with a bunch of jerks who only like her because of her family's fame and money. Plus, they had hoped she'd make the A-List a thing again, something that went out when her father's identity was revealed.
Still not taking a hint, Dash Jr. decided to ask the same question he's asked the Fenton daughter since his freshman year.
"So, wanna go out?..."He asked again, angering her.
"No, I have plans and I already told you that I am not interested in dating a younger guy and a bully too..."Mako said, angry that he can't get it.
It made her blood boil when he's around. If it weren't for the fact that her parents taught her not to use her powers and strength against regular civilians, she would've hospitalized this jerk years ago.
He continued.
"Come on, Babe. You want me, don't deny it. You and me could be the ultimate power couple in Casper High. Maybe the world..."Dash Jr insisted.
"She said no..."Paola said in annoyance as she appeared, embarrassed by her brother.
"Hey, I was being nice..."Dash Jr said.
"You were being a pain. Now leave before I speak with Abuelo and tell him that you've been talking with Dad again..."Paola warned.
Dash Jr grumbled before walking away, muttering under his breath.
"I'm sorry, Mako..."Paola said apologetically.
"Hey, you never asked for him to act like that..."Mako said, not blaming her.
"Poor Paola..."The tall girl often thought, feeling sorry for her.
Paola was probably the only one from the Sanchez-Baxter family that is alright and Mako didn't understand how they can be related since, looks aside, she is nothing like the rest. It was probably her grandparents' influence that she was a more sound person. It embarrassed her but Mako also knew that its not Paola's fault that her mom is as shallow as a puddle and just as smart, her dad is a brute who has long passed his glory days and her brother is a total creep.
According to her parents, Paola's parents had been a total nuisance back in high school and they thought themselves the top of a pyramid of social order but then karma hit them hard when Danny Phantom went public and even exposed their actions to the wider world, though her mom did manage to give them grief and teach them a painful lesson before the reveal, especially with coach Baxter, who still terrified of Makoto Fenton to this day since he still remembers her kicking his butt back then. A fact Danny was still proud of and so is Mako.
"Hard to think they ever gave my dad trouble..."Mako thought, not able to see it.
Anyway, she and Paola began talking and a certain subject came up.
"So, did you talk to you-know-who yet?..."Paola asked in a teasing way.
Mako blushed deeply and looked away.
"Not yet, he is still not in a class I have yet..."Mako said, unable to get how she'll talk to him.
"Well, get ready for him..."Paola urged before noticing the time.
"Anyway, I gotta get to something from my locker. See ya..."Paola said before leaving to go to her next stop.
Mako was now alone and she tried to ignore her fans who asked questions about her or her father, or even Sailor Jupiter (without knowing that she is her mother). After a few moments, she got tired and became invisible to avoid them.
"How people can't see it is beyond me..."She thought as she couldn't get it.
She went outside of the bathroom and became visible again, just in time for two people she wanted to see spot her.
"Hey..."She heard a voice.
She turned and saw that it was CJ and Tuck again.
"Hey guys, how was Literature?..."Mako asked.
"Usual...Mr. Uno had a pop quiz and it was something I didn't study..."CJ complained.
"Because you're too busy trying to figure out which girl will say no to you first..."Tuck said and Mako giggled.
"That's not wrong..."She said, while CJ rolled his eyes.
He chose to change the subject fast.
"So, how about your chance to talk to you-know-who?..."CJ asked, earning an eyeroll from Mako.
"I haven't see him yet, not sure what I'd say though..." She admits.
It was then the two decided to make a suggestion to her.
"If you want, you can get dating advice from your mom's friends..." CJ suggested.
"Maybe the blonde one..." Tuck suggested.
"Which blonde one?..." Mako questioned, since there are two blondes who her mother knew well.
"The one who used to hit on your dad before learning he was your mom's boyfriend..." Tuck said.
Mako sighed, still surprised to have heard that story since she couldn't imagine Mina being the daughter of Danny Phantom instead of her.
"You know, my mom still hates being reminded about that..." She said.
"Right... I remember how that was revealed, Mina's mom was too afraid to speak with her for a week..."CJ said, recalling the event.
It was clear Makoto has long since put it behind her, but Minako still gets nervous when it's brought up to this very day. Mako still remembers the awkward Christmas party where she learned of it.
"You could always ask those two cousins..." Tuck said and the tall girl knew who he was talking about.
"They're not cousins..." Mako said, saying it as though it was obvious.
That got both boys confused.
"Wait... really?..." Tuck asked, confused.
"That was something your parents said because you were 4 and wanted to wait until you were more mature... at least more mature than your dad was when, according to my mom, he ogled them..." Mako said.
"Wait... so if they're not cousins, what are they?..." CJ asks.
Before she could answer, someone called out to her.
"Yo!..."Was heard.
Mako stopped and adopted a smile. She knew who that was, especially since she saw CJ looking back with a blush.
She turned around and grinned when she saw who it was.
"Tennyson..." She said.
It was a girl, a bit shorter than Mako, wearing tennis shoes not unlike her father's as a teen. She wore a similar jacket, only blue instead of green, a white shirt underneath, and a red skirt. She also wore a green beanie, which was a lighter shade than the green in her eyes.
"Fenton!..." She said with a grin as she approached her.
Mako took a few steps closer and, once they were close enough, high-fived each other.
"What brings you here?..."Mako asked, especially since they don't even live in the same town together.
"Duh, Bellwood High's soccer game. Star player, like my old man. I gotta keep up my own family traditions..." She responded.
The taller girl made a small laugh.
"Too bad you weren't the star baseball player, Ami Jr. We both know I'd cream you..." Mako said with a smirk.
"Heh... maybe instead of sports, we see who is better at something else?..." She asked.
"Like what? Mathletics? We both know you'd win at that, given who your mom is..."Mako said.
"That's true... not everyone can be Amy Jennifer Tennyson..." Her friend said with a knowing nod.
"Just as smart as her mom... but as modest as her dad..." Mako thought in amusement.
She then noticed that CJ was gawking at Amy, who remained oblivious.
"Hopeless romantic..."Mako thought in amusing before CJ spoke.
"Uh...hey there, Amy..."CJ said, still blushing.
"Sup, little dude..."Amy answered, still oblivious to his crush.
"Not much, hope you're doing okay..."CJ said shyly.
"As always, I'm a Tennyson, after all..."Amy said, still as "modest" as her father and still in the dark on what CJ feels for her.
Mako sighed before deciding how she wanted to spend free period.
"Anyway Amy, since I got free period and its a while before the game today...wanna just hang for a bit?..."Mako asked.
"Always..."Amy replied.
"Then let's go..."Mako said before turning to her male friends.
"Sorry guys. Girl thing..."Mako said, giving a thumb's up.
"Yeah, we get it..."Tuck said while CJ still fawned over Amy.
Once the two boys went one way, the two girls went the other. As they began to walk, they started to catch up and see what's been going on.
Amy was well aware about a certain crush her godsister has and wanted to bring up the subject, mainly to see if she's asked him out yet.
"So... speak to him, yet?..." Amy asked with interest.
"Not yet..." Mako said with a blush.
Amy frowned and then and shook her head.
"Come on... the longer you wait, the sooner he'd fall for someone like Donna Stoppable or Nightstar..." Amy said.
"I know... I'm trying here..." Mako said.
"My mom told me that my godmother is the toughest person she knows. You gotta be more like your mom... confident in your skills..." Amy said knowingly.
"Says the girl who isn't as good at handwriting as her mom..." Mako joked.
Amy pouted at that.
"Come on... I already have high scores like her... is my handwriting that big a deal?..."Amy said. "Heck, I'm smarter than she was when she was a teenager, that should be enough..."She added.
Before Mako could answer, she stopped when she saw someone up ahead.
Someone who made her heart beat as fast as her speed of flight. Amy noticed this and waved a hand in her face.
"Mako-chan? You there?..."Amy asked, only to see him.
It was a tall boy who was much like his father, almost a carbon copy with blonde hair in the same style, save for his mother's green eyes. Said boy was talking to one of the teachers and for now was unaware of her presence.
Mako's face was blushing a deep red and her eyes were sparkling as she managed to say something that only Amy heard.
"Fuyuki~..."She whispered dreamily as she felt her heart beat faster.
Much faster.
She was unaware that someone was outside the school, watching via special binoculars.
"Hmm... so not only Phantom's offspring with one of those short-skirt women, but Tennyson's as well? This hunt just got more interesting!..."He said sinisterly before patting a weapon at his side.
Oh boy.

Mako Part 4
A/N(1): Remember, if you have a request to see which couple's offspring and a situation they can be in, send a review or PM me and I will consider it.
A/N(2): Special thanks to NeoMark and Jay The Average Fanboy. for assisting me this chapter. As always, you guys are the best :)
REPLIES to my loyal and totally awesome reviewer:
Boris Yeltsin: :)
RonaldM40196867: I guess it all depends on which one you are talking about. It could be good or bad, depending on the writing and plot.
Danifan300: Thank you for the suggestions. I will consider them.
Invader Johnny: :)
61394: :)
Jebest4781: Thanks :)
Luiz4200: Nigel and Spud get along. They aren't exactly BFF's but they have a good work relationship and are nice to each other.
Also, sorry but it seems you were wrong on both guesses. Mako has a crush on a boy named Fuyuki.
The Writer's Call, DJ Rodriguez, Guardian1989, Dreams Come True 996 and Chester A Bum: Thank you.
Wiseguy2415: For now, all we know that Mako is in love with a boy named Fuyuki. More of his identity will be revealed in the next chapter.
Khy Dragon: I see.
SolSparda369: Not really. Ember is just a recurring villain, just like in the original series and she usually TRIES to fight Danny, rather than his family, though Mako and Makoto can handle her.
:) I hope you enjoyed this! Remember to read and review :)
