After Takan died, Koey and Stohn were the only ones left to protect Barordak. When the job was done, Koey left on a lone boat into the great wide ocean. He hasn't been seen since. Stohn, the last of the Toa of Barordak became a Turaga, the first in a very long time. Even long before the Toa Nebula.

Then one day to Stohn's surprise, everyone forgot about the Toa Nebula. When Turaga Stohn tried to explain the story, everyone was excited about the heroes yet to come. To the matoran, the story of the Nebula was a reading from the stars, not something that had happened before. A few weeks later from the mind wipe, a glacier was seen, coming towards the continent. It was as wide as Barordak was and taller than any mountain peak.

The evacuation of the north began. Ko-Matorans fled to the Center Swamp until they had to move back. Even more, when the Glacier came to freeze the swamp. Stohn was blaming himself for this, thinking that as a Toa he could've stopped the Glacier. Now with the Glacier almost having taken control of all of Barordak, 6 new Toa appear to save the day.

Inside Hoei's pocket realm, everyone was around the meeting room table. All six Toa and even Solurae were there. Only Witchdoctor wasn't there. Stohn was telling the entire story of the Glacier and the Toa Nebula.

'There. That is the story of the Toa Nebula." Stohn finished and sunk into his chair, waiting for questions.

Cas was the first to ask a question, "Koey left? Why?"

"He was tired of being a Hero. Tired of losing his friends."

Nekora took a break from writing down the story and looked up at Stohn, "Hold on Stohn. There's an issue."

"How so?"

"You say the mind wipe happened after you became a Turaga."

"Yes. I woke up and everyone had forgotten."

"Then why does Witchdoctor say Takan ordered the mind wipe? When it happened Takan was dead."

"Ask him."

"Don't you think that's a big issue though? Maybe an impostor Takan asked Witchdoctor to do it. That faker could still be out there."

"Another possibility is that Witchdoctor was ordered by no one. You know him, he doesn't seem the type."

"Stohn…" Nekora was thinking hard, "Did you order the mind wipe?"

"Why would I do that?"

"You're disappointed in what happened to the Nebula. Killed by each other and the two remaining members split. You're embarrassed to be an Ex-Toa."

"This is confusing me," Solurae spoke up, "If everyone forgot about the Toa Nebula. Why do I remember?"

The other Toa agreed and looked at Stohn who responded with "Hoei, bring Witchdoctor in here."

Hoei popped out of existence and a short few seconds later Witchdoctor popped in with Hoei.

Stohn looked at the blue fish man, with his pulsating heart behind a barred cage of metal. "If you answer our questions truthfully I will think about giving you your staff back."

Witchdoctor's eyes shot open in excitement and Stohn asked his question, "Did you mind wipe the matoran?"

"Yes. I mind wiped every matoran on this island except for you and Solurae. I thought of you two as test subjects. I wondered if over time the matoran would accept your story and I wanted to inject Solurae into society and be overwhelmed with the new world."

Tadan sat up from his chair and pointed his sword to Witchdoctor's neck, "You are a monster."

"Now hold on Tadan," Stohn told Takan to stand down, "Witchdoctor, you said that Takan ordered you to do the mind wipe. Yet when you did it, it was months after Takan was dead."

"First off, a mass mind wipe takes a lot of preparation. Especially if you want to exclude some people. First I had to exclude myself, you, and a test subject. It was most difficult trying to exclude you from the wipe because you needed to be carrying a special rock. I had to plant that rock on your staff secretly. Then once all three of us were excluded I wiped Barordak of the Toa Nebula, Ikatakk, and every other evil."

"So… when did Takan tell you this?"

"I was alone when I tried to cure him. That was when."

"Idiot! That was Rahikan. You didn't need to do it!"

"And? I'm not always nice."

Everyone looked at Witchdoctor and reevaluated what they thought of him (Except for Solurae). For the Toa, their impression had been a wild card, someone who can be both good and bad when they want. Now they thought it was all a ruse. Stohn had to forget the good side of the Witchdoctor he knew. This mind wipe and capture of Solurae was unforgivable. Solurae always hated Witchdoctor, even back when the Toa Nebula were together.

"Well then. Are you writing this down, Nekora?" Hoei asked.

"Yeah. Back when Takan was poisoned he told Witchdoctor to perform a mass mind. Probably to spite anyone of the Toa who lived his genocide. Witchdoctor followed through, adding some machinations of his own. Now here we are."

"I have a question! It's a really good one!" Lopek said, "Who made the Glacier! Was it you Witchdoctor?"

"Oh of course not! I went back into hiding after casting the mind wipe. I was tired! There was no way I could've made that Glacier, even weeks after."

"Then if you didn't make it, did you at least help with its conquering?"

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it, if someone was adventure-searching, and they found your cave, you would be found out when you were weak. So you made the Glacier come closer, taking over Ko-Kyla,"

"If someone found my cave, they would be stuck there forever. Your little Ko-Matoran buddy can tell you that."

"You still didn't answer my question. Did you or did you not help with the Glacier?"

"Do these questions affect my chances of getting my staff back?"

"Answer the question!" Lopek was getting mad

"Yes. I wanted absolute certainty that no one would find Solurae or me."

Everyone had heard enough and Stohn ordered Witchdoctor to be removed from the pocket realm. Hoei left to restrain Witchdoctor some more, so he couldn't escape. When Hoei returned, he took his seat at the table.

Solurae spoke up, "Now that we know Witchdoctor is nothing but pure evil, is it okay to kill him for all his crimes?"

Gawae added the idea of having Witchdoctor give one good reason he shouldn't be killed. No one liked the idea, but Witchdoctor's conscience was brought in anyway.

Gawae walked up and stared at Witchdoctor, "Give us one good reason we shouldn't kill you. Right here right now."

Witchdoctor looked past Gawae and saw everyone with their weapons drawn and eyes full of anger.

Witchdoctor dropped from his chair onto his knees and started speaking fast, almost rambling, "The Glacier was another idea Takan had when he was evil. He would somehow bring a large Glacier towards Barordak. He would have me protect it from melting or damage and help it grow to cover Barordak. It was never part of the plan for me to make the Glacier. That was Takan's job."

Nekora and Stohn noticed the glaring contradiction and Stohn spoke. "But the Glacier came AFTER the mind wipe which was after Takan's death. If only Takan would make the Glacier, who did it? This is your chance to live Witchdoctor, WHO DID IT?"

"Takan's successor. That Lord fellow. I'm telling you the truth when I say I don't know much about him. All I know is that his base is somewhere on Barordak. The real Barordak. Beneath all the ice." Witchdoctors' frenzied speaking and sporadic movements made him seem like he wanted to get it off his chest.

"So Lord summoned the Glacier? How is that even remotely believable!? Only you and Takan knew the… No…"

Nekora knew what Stohn was thinking. If only Witchdoctor and Takan knew about the Glacier idea, and Witchdoctor wouldn't make it, then only Takan could. Yet when the Glacier was made Takan was dead.

"Lord Takan," Nekora said bluntly. Without any emotion. Yet with only two words with no feeling behind them, that was enough to silence the room and fill it with dread.

Witchdoctor congratulated Nekora for finding the answer. "Great deduction skill."

Stohn ordered Witchdoctor out of the realm so the group could have their discussion. Gawae knew that Witchdoctor was holding the truth, and she got him to spill them. Now no one knew what he was hiding. Tadan didn't like the information at all. Takan, his ancestor who had turned evil and killed his team, was still alive. Scheming beneath miles of ice. Tadan had to keep in mind the fact that his Destiny could be different. He wouldn't turn on his friends.

Nekora was too busy writing to form any opinions. As the Chronicler, he had to write history as clear-headed as possible. Hoei was gone, restraining Witchdoctor.

"What do you think about all of this, Hoei?" Witchdoctor asked.

"What do I think?" Hoei looked around and remembered he was alone. He grabbed Witchdoctor's heart through his cage and squeezed it tightly. As Witchdoctor was gasping for air Hoei explained and grabbed WItchdoctor's throat with his other hand.

"I want you dead. Your facade of a safe place behind the Glacier was rude. The avalanche you caused during the creation of the door KILLED matoran. Now you want to be all helpful and redeemed by slowly filling us in on the big picture. I AM TIRED OF BEING IN THE DARK. First, it was Stohn, telling us that we were Toa, then letting us know he was one. Then it turns out that the previous team was killed by a single member. Now you want us to believe that this Glacier is a product of the long gone and dead Toa of FIRE? WE AREN'T STUPID WITCHDOCTOR."

"Of course, you aren't Hoei, but you have to understand the audience. Most people don't like a lore dump on Chapter 2. You have to build up the hype."

Hoei tightened his grip on Witchdoctor's heart, causing it to squeeze through the gaps between his fingers like a ball of slime, oozing to escape the pressure.

"Build the hype my rear. You just want to be evil. I am more than happy to kill you right now. Even if the others want you to live. This is your last chance, Witchdoctor. How can we remove the Glacier's protection?"

Hoei kept his grip firm on Witchdoctor's heart and waited for a response. Eventually, Witchdoctor got enough air in him to speak. "You… need… my blood."

"Good. Let's see if your judgment has been called."
