Chapter 11
Arizona's P.O.V:
"How do you I look?" I ask, turning to look at Teddy.
"You look like you're about to get your world rocked," she laughed.
"You never know, maybe I will," I say with a laugh.
"Look, don't count on getting any tonight. Especially from Callie. I mean, after all, you're still 17,"
"Don't remind me," I huff. After adding the finishing touches, I spray some of my vanilla body spray all over to top it all off.
"Dude, not so much," Teddy coughs, waving her hand to fan out the smell, "you don't want to smell like a cheap whore,"
"Fuck off," I spit out, "I'm off. Wish me luck," I grab the small flashlight from my drawer and head towards the door.
"Not too late," my bunkmate says just as I opened the door.
"I won't, Mom," I call over my shoulder. I roll my eyes at her, then head out to meet Callie.
As I enter the wooded area, the cool winter breeze blows, causing my body to shiver. I pull my coat tighter around me as I move further into the woods.
"Why did I have to say yes to meeting her out the woods," I grumble to myself. When I got to the we agreed to meet her at, Callie was nowhere in site.
"Callie," I whisper out. Not really know why I was whispering. It's not like anyone else was out here or knew were coming out here except for Teddy. When I didn't get a reply, I tried once more, but this time a little louder, "Callie," But still nothing. A snap of a twig gets my attention. I take the flashlight and point it in the direction of where I heard the sound. "Callie? Is that you?" Another snap of a twig causes me to jump, "Callie, come on, this isn't funny. Where are you?" My body shivers in fear when I hear the sound of rustling trees and a snap of another twig. As I'm backing up, arms suddenly wrap around my waist and my upper body, causing me to let out the loudest scream. I'm squirming to try and break free of whoever grabbed me. The arms dropped from my body and the sound of a female laughing behind me makes me turn around. When I turn, I see the brunette doubled over, laughing her ass off, "What the fuck, Callie. You scared the shit out of me,"
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself," she says, still laughing, "I heard you coming, so I thought I'd have a little fun,"
"That was dirty," I grumble, giving her a pouty look, "you about gave me a freaking heart attack," She steps closer to me and wraps her arms around my waist.
"I'm sorry, I was just having a little fun," she says, "thanks for meeting me," Once my heart rate was finally under control, I wrap my arms around her neck and lean in and connect our lips. Callie pulls back and smiles, "I brought snacks for us. You know, strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate..."
"Oh, you went all out?" I giggle.
"I did actually. I even brought a blanket for us. Come on, lets have a seat," she sat down on the blanket that was sprawled out and patted the spot for me to sit in front of her, which I was happy to oblige. Snuggling close into her, she grabs another blanket and wraps it around us.
"God, it's so beautiful out here," I say, looking up at the bright moon.
"Yeah, it is,"
"How did you find this place? I mean, earlier when we hid over here, I just knew it wasn't an accident,"
"Addison was actually the one who found it. She comes here to think or do whatever it is she does here,"
"You mean like?" I look up, giving her a questioning look. She gives me a nod.
"Yeah, something like that. This is her and Marks spot,"
"You mean Lieutenant Sloan?" I question once more.
"Shit!" she cursed out, slapping her forehead with the palm of her hand, "I wasn't suppose to tell anyone,"
"Huh, and I thought it was all in my head that day I saw them two flirting and almost sharing a kiss," I say with a laugh, "So, is that why you brought me out here?"
"No, I brought you out here so we could hang out and talk. Be ourselves and not have to worry about hiding anything,"
"But we're still hiding everything," I tease, "but it's fine. What would you like to know?"
"Well...how did you get your name? Were you named after the state?"
"Wow, no one has asked me that before. But no, I wasn't named after the state. I was named after a battleship. The U.S.S Arizona. My Great Great Grandfather was serving on the Arizona when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor,"
"Wow, that's interesting," she says, "I just thought maybe your parents were one of them weird types who decided to...I don't know, name you after their favorite state or something,"
"Nope," I giggle, "I mean, don't get me wrong, my parents are a little weird, but all parents are,"
"True. So, what else you got for me that you think I should know?"
"What do you want to know? I mean, I'm an open book,"
"God, I don't know," she laughs, "how about your favorite color? Or flower?"
"I love the color blue. My favorite flower is a Rose. I also love donuts. I hate when people are on their phones when someone is trying to talk to them. I hate a huge crowd of people and my favorite music is Rock,"
"Rock huh? No Country?"
"No Country. That shit puts me to sleep. Okay, your turn,"
"Okay," she says, taking a deep breath then releasing it, "My real name is Calliope, but I prefer Callie. I love the color black, Roses are my favorite flower as well and I actually prefer Country Music over Rock,"
"Well, I guess if we ever got married, one of us will have to compromise I guess," everything suddenly falls silent between us. The only thing that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. I turn my body in her embrace and realized what I had just said, "I'm sorry-I just-"
"No, it's okay. Really," she says, giving me a warm smile, "why don't we just see where this goes with us, okay? Take it one day at a time," I turn back around and let out a sigh.
"One day at a time," I stare out into the night sky, thinking about everything we just talked about. Then a thought hits me and I just smile. I look down at the treats Callie had brought along and I think about what took place earlier when we first got here, "I think it's time for a little payback,"
"What?" she asks, looking down at me, not realizing I had them words out loud. I look up and smile at the brunette , then blindly reach down for the bowl of whipped cream, then reached up and put a dollop on her nose when she wasn't really paying attention and staring off into the night.
"Arizona," Callie yelped out. I couldn't help but laugh. I turn my body to where I was facing her.
"You got a little something...yeah, right there," I say, touching her nose with my finger, adding more whipped cream to her face.
"Oh, you're so getting back, Robbins," she yelled out. She leans in, connecting our lips together. I'm instantly lost in her and didn't feel the bowl being snatched from my hands.
"Hey!" I squeal, breaking our closeness. She takes the spoon and uses it to splatter whipped cream all over my face, My jaw dropping in shock.
"Awe, you look so cute with white make-up on your face," she laughs, "you should wear it more often," As I went to reach for the chocolate, she instantly stands up and runs from me, bowl of whipped cream still in her hands. I stood up quickly and chased after her. We took turns throwing each of the substances at each other.
"Okay, I give," she says, throwing the bowl down and putting her hands up in surrender, "you win!"
"Hahaha. Good, see, you shouldn't mess with me," she says with a grin. I move closer to wipe some of the whipped cream and chocolate that I had managed get on her off her face. My face just inches from her, much like earlier in the armory. I had thought about kissing her, but the inner demons were screaming at me to not to. What if it does go farther? How would I be able to stop myself, I mean, after all, she is only 17. But the good in me was telling to actually do it. My blue eyes intensely stare into her brown ones. Her lips begin to tremble, practically begging me, so I did. and just like earlier, it felt amazing. It felt like heaven. I knew I was addicted to kissing her and no matter how hard I fought it, the temptation always won. I wrap my arms around her waist and bring her closer to me. But because of the height difference, she had to stand on her tippy toes. Her small hands wrap around my hair, which turned me on. When our lips parted, our tongues met and battled for dominance. I gently back her up against the nearest tree, leg in between hers. My mouth leaves hers and attach to her neck, her head leaning back against the cold bark, giving me more access. I sucked and nibbled everywhere I could.
"Mmmmm, Callie," she moaned. I could feel her heat radiating over my leg, sending an all familiar feeling between my legs. My right hand makes its way up, almost to her breasts, but stops over her mid-section. I kept going, kissing every inch of her neck that was exposed.
"God, Callie," she trembled, "we should stop," she barely got out. My lips broke from her neck and we were both panting.
"Right, I'm sorry, I just got carried away.
"We both did," she laughs, "I do want you,"
"I know what you mean," I says, still trying to get my breathing under control. I stare into blue eyes, sparkling from the moonlight. She bit her lip, and it drove me crazier. We both smiled like two crazy people over what just happened. I was the first to break the silence we had going, "we should probably get back and get ourselves cleaned up,"
"Right," After we straighten ourselves up, we collect everything and head back. Once we got to her door, I stand there to make sure her roommate didn't lock her out.
"Thanks for an amazing night, Lieutenant," she says with a grin, "I had a lot of fun,"
"Me too," I nod in respond, "Well, good night, Robbins," trying to be as professional as I could so no one suspects a thing.
"Good night," she whispered, then disappears behind her door.
Arizona's P.O.V:
After leaving Callie standing out in the hall, I close the door behind me and lean against it. I close my eyes and take in a deep breath, before releasing it.
"What the hell are you doing, Robbins," I quietly curse myself.
"What is with you always talking to yourself," came Teddy's voice. I open my eyes and see my bunkmate sitting up in her bed with a smile on her face, "have a great night?"
"The best," I reply.
"Did you get any?"
"No," I say, looking down at the floor. I could feel my face turning red, "but we came close to it,"
"Okay, I want details," she squealed with excitement.
"No!" I scoff, "only thing I will tell you was that the kiss..." I pause, closing my eyes once more, "the kiss was magical. It's almost like going to Disney World for the first time. It was just most exotic moment ever,"
"Okay horndog, time to get them hormones under control," I just bust up laughing and walk over to my dresser to pull out some night clothes. Teddy shakes her head at me and laughs, "I swear, if you had a pecker right now, you'd be hard as a rock,"
"Shut-up," I growl, "I need to clean up, so I'll be right back," I leave the room to get cleaned up after tonight's festivities.
As I walking into the washroom, Callie was walking out.
"Hey," she smiles.
"hey yourself. Just finishing up?"
"Yeah, you?" she asks.
"Just coming in to clean up,"
"Oh, well good," she steps closer to where she was just inches from my ear, "I had a great time tonight,"
"Yeah, me too," I say, which I really did, "thank you,"
"Anytime," she says, "well..goodnight,"
"Goodnight," I mimic back. Just like that, Callie heads back to her room for the night.
*Sorry for the boring last encounter! Had no idea what to write. But hope you all enjoyed the chapter. Definitely my longest one. I am going to do a time jump from here. So, next chapter will be Arizona's birthday *
