"Ted, I need your Herbology notes."

"Vic, you need to stop mooning over Professor Longbottom during class and take your own Herbology notes."

"I do not moon!" Victoire dropped her book bag on the library table with a loud flourish. Then, after a pointed look from Madam Pince, hissed, "I don't! I just get distracted."

Teddy pushed a small pile of parchment her way. "Yeah. Distracted by Professor Longbottom. I don't need the details."

"There are no details!" she protested, plucking the papers off the table and immediately started flicking through them. "Thanks. You always take such good notes, you know?"

"Yeah, yeah," he muttered. "It's easy to take good notes when you're not undressing the professor with your eyes."

"Is that why you're always nicking my History notes? I mean, I'm not judging, but really? Professor Binns? He's a ghost, Ted. It'll never work."

Teddy couldn't help but laugh. He playfully threw some balled parchment in her direction, which Victoire immediately returned with equal enthusiasm and a squeal.

"MISS WEASLEY!"

"Sorry Madam Pince!" Victoire called out, but the young girl was rolling her eyes at her friend as she threw her bag, now one set of class notes heavier, over her shoulder. "I'll see you later. Thanks for the notes!"

Teddy grinned, giving her a small nod as she disappeared from the stacks. He had no doubt that he'd be seeing her later. They had Herbology the very next day, after all, and he had a hunch that she would once again be… distracted.
