Gideon can feel his brother's eyes on him the moment he slips through the dormitory door and starts making his way towards his bed.

"You nearly gave Molly a heart attack," Fabian says dryly.

"Molly needs to mind her own business."

Fabian raises an eyebrow. "You were shagging your boyfriend in the library. It sounds like you should have found somewhere more private."

"Not my boyfriend."

"Good," Fabian snaps. "Because this needs to stop."

"Fabian…"

"No. You said you'd end things as soon as he got the bloody Mark." Fabian's voice is low and angry. "That happened months ago."

His brother has the decency to look embarrassed. "He hasn't done anything for them."

"Not yet," Fabian responds simply. "But he will. And when he does, I don't want you anywhere near him. I don't want to be anywhere near him. And I sure as hell don't want Molly anywhere near him."

"Fabian, you're being—"

"—I'm not asking, Gideon." Fabian's eyes are hard. "I'm telling you. It's time to pick a side."
