"I have been here since I was seven. I am fifteen now." She replied with a small voice, the way she parted with her father must have been horrible.

"So you have been stuck here for 8 years now? That must be horrible." I pushed her buttons. Knowing she would be frustrated with living inside a border for nearly a decade.

"You have no idea how awful it is. I want to go out there and see the world, but Chiron won't allow it. I would love to see the buildings out there." She started rambling about architecture and something of sorts.

"How would you like to get out of here?" I asked.

"How?" she asked genuinely interested, I think she was ready to do go now.

"Simple, Join me on a quest." I said to her.

Perseus Pov

"What quest?" Annabeth asked, and I could hear the fear in her voice. Probably afraid of the danger of a quest that has a God joining in.

"Someone has stolen my brother Zeus' master bolt. I am issuing a quest to retrieve it, and joining the quest myself. Would you accept?" I asked her already knowing her answer. You don't have to be the Lord of fate to see her eyes shine in acceptance. The entire camp had joined in on our conversation, and were observing us in silence.

"I accept." She said, jumping up and down in excitement. She looked childish despite being almost 15 years old. Just as she said that everyone gasped at something behind me. I turned to look at the mummy that had walked out of the big house. The smell of python, the green glowing eyes told me who it was. I felt anger at what had happened to my oracle.

"What happened to my Oracle?" I asked through gritted teeth.

"We don't know brother, the Oracle stopped changing hosts about 70 years ago." Chiron informed me.

"What do you mean your oracle? Isn't she my father's?" The son of Apollo, the same kid who was arguing with Annabeth before asked.

"Your father is the God of Prophecy, so the oracle comes under his domain; but the oracles speak the will of fates. And I am the God of Fate, the fates come under my domain, as do the oracles." I explained, and he nodded and smiled.

The oracle reached me and bowed; it was a little funny seeing a mummy bow down to me. She turned to Annabeth, and spoke in her raspy voice, "I am the spirit of Delphi, speaker of the prophecies of Phoebus Apollo, slayer of the mighty python. Approach seeker and ask."

Annabeth was hesitant at first, but she composed herself and asked, "How do I retrieve the master bolt?"

Green mist rolled off the oracle as she spoke,

"Wolf joins owl for the weapon's theft,

Start your journey to the land of the west.

Three shall confront the treacherous God that has turned,

You shall find the bolt, and see it safely returned.

The one you call friend, shall deliver agonizing pain,

As essence of the golden-eyed king, runs through his vein.

The world will shake at the Wolf God's roar,

When the two Time Lords declare war."

The entire camp was silenced at the prophecy the oracle had just delivered.

I knew who was rising now, who had planned the theft. I looked at Chiron and his eyes held the same grim look mine did. Our father the Titan King Kronos was rising.

Perseus looked around till his eyes landed on a satyr. He was biting his fingernails in worry, probably one of Annabeth's friends. "You young satyr come here." Perseus called and did a come hither motion with his finger.

The satyr had curly brown hairs. He looked young and old at the same time. His horns were small for someone his age, and he had the start of wispy beards. He stepped slowly towards the Lost God.

"What will you need of me, My Lord?" He asked, stuttering. Perseus rolled his eyes at him. He was smiling kindly at them, but they were still afraid of him.

"What is your name Satyr.?" Perseus asked smiling.

"It... It's Grover Underwood Lord." Grover spluttered. Slightly afraid of speaking anything wrong in the presence of the God.

"Calm down, I'm not going to smite you, relax." Perseus said, "Would you wish to join us in our quest?"

Grover's eyes widened at the God's question. Of course he would like to join the quest; this would help him get his searcher's license. He wanted more than anything to go out and look for his Lord, who went missing two thousand years ago.

Gasps ran through the crowd. No one till date had a satyr accompanying them on a quest. Sure, the satyrs were the best at bringing demigods to camp, but they couldn't understand the God's reason. What could a satyr bring to the table? They were completely baffled that the greatest quest of the millennia had a satyr as a quester.

Annabeth smiled at her friend. She knew that he was meant for greatness, and this was his time to shine. She went next to her friend, and looped her fingers with his, giving it a squeeze in assurance.

Grover composed himself and nodded, "I accept."

Perseus smiled and clapped the satyr on his shoulder. "Gather necessary things for your quest and get a good night's sleep. We leave tomorrow morning." He addressed both of his companions.

Annabeth, and Grover nodded and went away to pack things up. Followed by the rest of the demigods, leaving the God of Time and the immortal trainer of heroes alone.

"This is bad, very bad, dangerous times lies ahead brother." Chiron stated, looking at his brother.

"Indeed it is little brother. I must speak with the council at once." Perseus declared, and flashed out.

Third Person Pov

The Olympians, along with Hestia, sat in fear of the future. The elder gods knew what kind of monster their father was. They had wished that they would never have to face him again. The second generation Olympians had only heard and read of the Titan Lord's monstrosity. Something they never wanted to witness. Nothing could be done now; war threatened their very existence.

They grew wary and scared, as they waited for Perseus to arrive.

Perseus arrived in a flash of golden light in the middle of the throne room. He looked at his throne, which had been collecting dust for centuries. He waved his hand and it was cleaned. Perseus grew to his Godly height for the first time since he had returned to Olympus.

The Gods gasped at the sight of him; not only had he grown more powerful and handsome, but his godly height had also changed. He towered over his fellow gods. While they were 14-15ft. Perseus undoubtedly was at least 20 ft.

He sat on his throne, and the whole of Olympus glowed in joy. Perseus looked around his family and smiled, "We should start the meeting now." He said, looking at Artemis from the corner of his eyes. She was drooling at the sight of her ex-husband. Perseus ignored her.

"What do you think of the prophecy brother?" Zeus asked, afraid of the answer his brother was going to give.

"It means what you have concluded yourself brother. Our bastard father is rising once again. The second Titanomachy is starting." Perseus declared to his fellow gods. All of them had worry crept up in their hearts.

"Is there any chance that you are wrong?" Hestia asked, not wishing her family to fight against her father.

Perseus smiled at her, the charming smile that had multiple Goddesses wet just by looking at it. His own ex-wife started imaging him in an intimate way, not being clouded by her pride now.

"I'm afraid not my dear. There are only three Time Lords to exist. One is me, the other our father and the third is the Primordial Chronos. The last I checked Chronos, and I were good friends. Leaving only me and our father." Perseus informed her, wishing himself that this whole thing was just a hoax.

"What are we going to do now?" Zeus asked, trying to think of a way to survive against his father.

"Right now we should start training the demigods for war. I do not like to put children in the front line at battle, but alas they are our best warriors. Though I believe that the war would not come knocking at our doorsteps for at least 3 more years." Athena stated the next action to the council.

"That is the best option, but the demigods younger than 13 years old should not fight in the war. They would do well as medics, and we should gather our forces. Check in on the Titans that were on our side in the first Titan war." Perseus continued after Athena.

"What of the minor gods? Most would not stand with us. I hate to say this but we haven't treated them fairly." Poseidon said, thinking that many minor gods' and goddesses' problems were ignored by the council.

The King, and Queen of Gods looked down in shame when Perseus turned his gaze at them. "Tell them that I have required their help & assistance in the war. While many don't have a positive attitude towards the council, they still respect me. They would stand by our side if asked for me." Perseus said, and many nodded, almost all of the gods loved him. They would fight on his side without any questions.

"And I am sure that in return we could show them the proper respect they deserve, can't we?" He asked in an over-polite tone. The Olympians however, could detect his threatening implications. They all nodded at him, not willing to upset the only god powerful enough to rip them to shreds.

"If that is all then I would like to rest for the night. I assume my palace is still in place?" Perseus looked at Zeus, who nodded. Perseus bid them good night and flashed out.

Perseus Pov

The next morning I arrived at Half-Blood Hill to see Grover, Annabeth, and Chiron already waiting for me.

"Look Mr. Lord of the Time is the one late. Couldn't even set an alarm clock correctly could you?" Annabeth sarcastically said, looking at me.

Chiron, and Grover were horrified that she would speak this way to me. Before they could chastise her I started laughing and said, "No I was just wishing I didn't have to see your ugly face this early in the morning."

She chuckled and smiled at me, and I smiled back. I liked that she wasn't groveling at my feet like other demigods. It felt nice to have someone to banter with.

Chiron soon gave his well wishes and went back inside the border of the camp. I looked at Annabeth, and saw that she was carrying a thick book with her. "You are taking a book with you on a quest?" I asked incredulously.

Her face turned into a dark shade of red as she sputtered out an excuse, "It is for when I get bored."

"By the creator, you are just like your mother. Before I was married, Athena, Artemis, Apollo and I would go hunting together. Your mother just like you used to bring scrolls and records to read. Seems being a nerd runs in the family." I chuckled as she turned a darker shade of red. Yet she was smiling nonetheless, happy at hearing about how similar she was to her mother.

I looked at Grover to see that he had some tin cans with him. Good, always stock up in food. Though, I could've just summoned some for him.

"Where are we going first?" Grover asked nervously.

"First we are visiting Lower Manhattan to the candy shop I work in. I had taken only a day's leave, I must inform the owner that I could no longer work there." I said, and they turned to look at me in shock.

"You work in a candy shop?" Annabeth asked, puzzled at why I would work for someone.

I rolled my eyes at her, "Despite being a God, I like to live the simple mortal life. I would like for you two to treat me like a friend and not a god."

They smiled at me and nodded. I grabbed their shoulders and flashed us to the candy shop.

"PERCY JACKSON how many times have I said not to do that? One day I could die of a heart attack if you continue to appear out of nowhere." Sally screamed at me in shock.

I turned to my fellow questers, "Guys meet Sally Jackson Blofis, the owner of Jackson Sweets. She had volunteered herself to be a mother to me for the last couple of years."

Sally only then noticed the two of them and blushed in embarrassment for her little outburst. "Oh my god I'm sorry you two. Come sit and eat what you want." She offered to them.

"I'm sorry Sally but we do not have the time. I am here to inform you that I am resuming my position in Olympus and can no longer work here. Give my regards to Paul, and my love to Estelle. Remember to pray to me if you need anything." I said, and she nodded. I kissed her forehead and flashed Annabeth, Grover with me.

We reached a bus station and sat down waiting for the bus. "Who was the woman back there? And why did she call you Percy Jackson?" Annabeth asked me.

"I had met her 6 years ago, she was just starting a business of her own. I asked for work to her, and she soon realized I was a God. I told her that I was away from my family and she started caring after me as a mother despite being way younger than me. She said Perseus was a mouthful and asked if I had a nickname. Aphrodite used to call me Percy, so she started to use that name too, and I decided to use her maiden name as my own. Thus Percy Jackson was born." I told her, and she nodded in understanding.

"Why are we waiting for a bus? You could just flash us to wherever we need to go." She asked in confusion.

"No we cannot, some rules even I cannot break. A quest is meant to be hard, and we can't take shortcuts." They both nodded at my explanation.

All three of us were silent for some time. The quest had started, and I would have to encounter Kronos soon.

Just the thought of my father had my entire essence burning with anger, and something that I had not felt for a long time.

Fear

Many of you have asked how could Perseus be forced into a marriage, and why as the Lord of Fate he couldn't see that Artemis would betray him. I would like to tell you that the next chapter would cover this.

Thank you for these questions, because they would give the story more depth. I am a new writer so sometime I can not see what the story needs, and your questions/review help at that. So please continue your doubts and thought of the story.
