Episode 1: Mightiest Heroes
Outside the prison known as the Raft...
A group of heroes were busy fighting a group of villains.
"Here they come again!" Iron Man said as he shot multiple energy bullets at Green Goblin.
"Stand your ground! Don't give way!" Captain America told his allies as he fought Whirlwind.
Wasp replied as she dodged Absorbing Man's wrecking ball, "Easier said than done!"
Hulk is busy fighting Abomination while Scarlet Witch is shooting red energy spheres at King Cobra.
Thor is fighting against Tigershark until he looks up and sees his brother: Loki.
"Loki!" Thor glared at his brother, who returned a devious smile.
In the country of Japan
It's finally spring break and every student in the whole country is very excited to spend several weeks with no school work. But of course, they shouldn't forget their studies once the break is over.
In a school in the city of Tokyo, in Class 2-D, the teacher is telling his students, "Now I know you can't wait to start your break but I want you all to remember that when that bell rings, it doesn't mean to stop using your brain. I expect you to use this break to review what we study a little bit every day so we don't go over it again, all right?"
As he was talking, a certain boy named Akira Akatsuki wearing a white polo shirt under a teal blazer, a red necktie, light blue pants, and black dress shoes was tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for the second hand of the clock to reach the number '12'. Once it did, the bell rings and the boy grabs his bag and hurries towards the door. All his classmates looked at him.
"Hold on Akira. Did you hear every word I said?" The teacher asked, causing Akira to stop short.
"Yes, sir! You said we can't wait to start our break." Akira replied and smiled before heading outside the classroom.
Once Akira has left the school, he hurriedly runs back home to get prepared for something important to him.
'Can't believe it's been two years since we've seen Dad.' he thought.
Flashback – 2 years ago
A man holding a blue roller bag standing by the door said, "It's all settled. Your aunt's agreed to look after you. So you boys better behave yourselves, okay?"
Akira and his older brother, Hikaru, were surprised at what their dad said.
Akira was still running back home as he thought, 'Two years he's been gone. He's missed my birthday, the anniversary of Mom's passing. Two years of eating our aunt's cooking. But that's all over now.'
Flashback – 3 days ago
Akira and Hikaru are video chatting with their dad.
"The project's finished so get packed. You boys are coming to America for the launch party." Akira and Hikaru's dad said.
'He didn't even ask about my grades.' Akira thought.
He then smiled that today will be exciting for both Hikaru and him.
'Oh well. Who cares? We get to go to America.'
But then, when he's running through a mall, Akira notices a little boy walking past him. He appears to be calling for his mother as he said, "Mommy?"
'Ugh, I don't have time for this.'
Meanwhile, Hikaru is waiting for his brother to arrive. Hikaru is wearing a white shirt underneath a light-blue collared shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes. He has a purple roller bag beside him.
"Come on, Akira." Hikaru said impatiently as he looked at his black watch to know what time it is, "Cutting it close."
Back to Akira, he is still eyeing on the lost boy as he thought, 'I really don't have time for this. We'll barely make the flight as it is. He'll be okay.'
Suddenly, the little boy started to cry since he couldn't find his mother. This prompted Akira to help him. Finally, Akira was able to return the little boy to his mother.
"What do you say to the nice boy," the little boy's mother said to him.
"Thank you, nice boy," the little boy thanked Akira.
"Good job, young man." the police officer complimented Akira's help for the boy.
"Yeah, well, I know what it's like. Anyway-" Akira said, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. He then looked at the clock and it read '1:10 p.m.'
"I'll never make it in time!" Akira gasped. Then two boys, who are friends of Akira, approached him.
"What's up, Akira?" one of Akira's friends ask him, "Why are you still hanging around? I thought you were in a big hurry."
Akira looked at his two friends and that was when he had an idea, "You mind if I borrow those?" He asked his friend to borrow his in-line skates and helmet.
Back to Hikaru, he was telling the taxi driver about Akira's delayed presence, "I'm sure he'll be here any minute."
Hikaru then heard his brother skating in his direction and calling up to him.
"I'm coming, Hikaru! Sorry I'm late! Couldn't help it!"
Akira then proceeded to jump over the stairs, much to Hikaru's shock. But he didn't stay in the air for long. He screamed as he crashed into the ground as Hikaru cringed and sighed in response.
"Looks like he missed the cab." the driver commented.
Meanwhile, in the Philippines
If it's spring break in Japan, then it's summer vacation in the Philippines. Which means two whole months of no school, no teachers, just a whole lot of fun under the sun.
In a quiet condominium in Bonifacio Global City, in a room painted pink and decorated with posters, there lives a young Filipino girl who is talking to someone on her phone. This girl's name is Sandra Gonzales and she is a popstar. Right now, she is talking to her father on the phone.
"Yes, Dad. I'll be arriving at the airport in a while. I'm already prepared for my trip to America." Sandra said to her father.
"Good. I can't wait for your arrival. See you later." Sandra's father, Dr. Jamie Gonzales, said.
"Bye." Sandra replied before she turned off her phone. She then grabbed her guitar case and roller bag and headed downstairs. Her manager, Mark, is there waiting for her.
"Are you ready for your trip, Sandra?" Mark asked
"Yes, Mark. It's too bad that Michelle, Kyle, and Mom are not joining since they just went to London to spend their vacation with Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Julio." Sandra replied.
"It's okay, kid. I'm sure that Michelle, Kyle, and Hannah will join you next year." Mark said.
As the manager and the popstar headed outside the house and drove their car to the airport, Sandra had thoughts in head, mostly about her father leaving her, her sister, and her mother.
'It's been 2 years since Dad left to work in America.' she thought.
Flashback – 2 years ago
"Hannah, Sandra, Kyle, Michelle, I'm going to America because I was assigned to help in an important project in New York City. You think you're gonna be okay while I'm abroad?" Jamie asked.
"Don't worry Dad. We'll be okay even if you're in America now." Sandra said.
'Despite being apart for 2 years, we still talk to each other. Concerts, birthdays, holidays, and other special events, we are still in contact with each other. Until 3 days ago...' Sandra continued.
Flashback – 3 days ago
Sandra was busy tuning her guitar when her phone rang.
"Hello? Who is this?" Sandra called.
"Hello, Sandra." the person on the other line, who is her father, said.
"Hi Dad! It's been so long! Why did you call me?" Sandra replied.
"I'm just saying that I'm done with my work. What I made is very fascinating. I am hoping you will arrive at the ceremony." Jamie said.
"Sure, Dad. But what about Mom, Kyle, and Michelle? I know they had their own plans for summer." Sandra responded.
"I already know that. Hannah texted me that she, Michelle, and Kyle are going to London to stay with your Aunt Rebecca and Uncle Julio." Jamie assured.
"Okay, I'll be there." Sandra said.
"Bye." Sandra and Jamie said simultaneously before ending their call.
'I want to know what he did in the past 2 years.' Sandra thought before she noticed that the car was going too slow.
Getting up from her seat, Sandra leaned her head through the little window and complained. "Mark, can you pick up the pace?" she asked. "I was supposed to be there, like, five minutes ago."
Mark chuckled and rolled his eyes.
"Patience." he replied. "I'm not gonna get a speeding ticket just because one of us hasn't met an alarm clock she couldn't sleep through."
"Ha ha ha." Sandra replied with false humor, "You're hilarious. And the slowest driver ever!"
Mark smiled. "Relax, Sandra. Don't worry. I'll get you to the airport in time, okay? But, why'd you cancel your tour just to visit your father anyway?"
Sighing, the blue eyed pop star buried her back into the seat. "Having the spotlight to yourself can get kinda lonely." she admitted, letting her gaze fall to the flora and fauna outside the window. "You're surrounded by tons of people but no one really feels like your friend."
Mark frowned at Sandra's words and said, "Sorry, kid. I didn't realize things were that tough."
Sandra replied, "Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining. I love performing." she sighed. "I don't know. Maybe things will be different today."
Once the car arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Sandra waved goodbye to her manager and headed to the counter. As she talked to the clerk...
"I'm sorry, ma'am, but your flight's been cancelled." the clerk apologized.
"Cancelled?" Sandra repeated.
"Yes. One of the plane's jets malfunctioned and repairs will last for a week."
And that's just it. The moment of seeing her father, ruined.
Sighing, Sandra slumped down on an empty chair and took out her cellphone. She dialed her mother's phone number and waited for her mother to call.
"Hello?" Sandra's mother, Hannah, called on the other end.
"Hey, Mom." Sandra sadly replied.
"What's wrong, sweetie?"
"My flight got cancelled and I won't be able to see Dad for a week."
"Well, that's too bad. I was looking forward to it."
"So are we." Sandra's older sister, Michelle, added.
"We were so stoked about seeing Dad again." Sandra's twin brother, Kyle, continued.
"I know. See you." Sandra said.
"Bye." Hannah replied before she ended the call.
Just then, a woman with red hair and blue eyes approached them and looked at a picture of Sandra singing onstage.
"Excuse me but are you Sandra?" the woman asked.
"Yes. Why?" Sandra answered.
"Come with me." the woman said. Sandra followed her.
A few minutes later, in a private jet owned by Stark International...
"Thanks for the flight, Ms. Potts." Sandra said.
"Just call me, Pepper. And you're welcome." Pepper said.
"Hey, Ms. Pepper. Are you gonna pick up two more passengers right now?" Sandra asked while looking at two empty seats beside her.
"I am and I had a hunch that they are gonna miss their flight. Before we go to America, let's head to Japan to pick them up." Pepper responded.
Once the plane landed in Haneda Airport, Pepper tells Sandra to wait inside as she exits the plane to look for the next two passegers.
Back to Akira and Hikaru
The two brothers are now at Haneda Airport and the sun is starting to set. Hikaru is at the desk talking to the clerk while Akira, now wearing a yellow shirt under a red jacket, dark brown shorts, white sneakers, and a red cap with a white adjustment strap worn backwards, is sitting on his purple bag.
"I'm sorry but you're too late. That flight's already boarding." the clerk said.
Hikaru was shocked that he and Akira missed their flight, "Well, when is the next flight? Can you get us on that one?" he asked the clerk.
Akira was listening to the conversation, then he looked at his bandaged knee.
"No, I'm showing the next flight completely booked. Sorry. I can put you on standby if you want." the clerk said.
"Okay, yeah, go ahead and put us on standby." Hikaru replied.
Just then, Pepper approached Akira and looked at a picture of Akira and Hikaru.
"Let me guess, Akira Akatsuki?" she asked as Akira turned to her.
"Yeah?" Akira answered.
A while later...
"Whoa, cool! Good thing we were late, huh?" Akira said, looking out the window before taking a seat next to Hikaru. He also tried the reclination of his chair by pressing a button. He then noticed Sandra sitting beside him, listening to the tunes on her phone.
He tapped at her hand and asked, "Hey are you on this flight, too?"
"Yeah. By the way, my name is Sandra. I'm from the Philippines and I'm here to visit my father, Dr. Jamie Gonzales." Sandra said as she removed her headphones.
"What a coincidence! My brother and I are also visiting our own father, Nozomu Akatsuki! I'm Akira, by the way, and this is my brother, Hikaru. We're both from Japan." Akira introduced himself and his brother.
"Hey, Sandra." Hikaru greeted before he began to ask Pepper, "So, Ms. Potts?" he said.
"Please don't call me that." The woman said. "Makes me sound like a school teacher."
"Alright, then. Ms. Pepper."
"Just 'Pepper.'"
"Right. But does Stark International send a private jet for all it's employees' kids?"
"Your father and Sandra's father are very special employees, who have been working on a very special project."
"Dare I ask, Pepper. What kind of project is it?" Sandra asked. "Is it something confidential?"
Pepper smiled, "DISKology."
The three kids looked at each other.
"DISKology?" Hikaru asked.
"We'll explain later. Anyway, your fathers were the point men of the development team. So, when our CEO heard you kids were gonna fly coach he called me up and said, 'Pepper, what are you trying to do, embarrass me? Get to the airport, pronto!'" Pepper joked. "Take my private jet."
"I like him already!" Akira said.
"Know when I got that call? 4 in the morning." Pepper said and Akira frowned.
"Well, he is one of the busiest men in the world, I guess." Hikaru said.
"And a pain in the you-know-what." Pepper said and Sandra giggled.
"I don't, actually. What am I, a pain? That's right. Today's in-flight movie is, well, me." Said a voice. "Welcome to the friendly skies of Stark Airlines."
The three kids went out of their seats and saw a man on the screen.
"Will you introduce us, Pepper? I mean, Ms. Potts?" the man asked.
"Allow me to present Tony Stark, owner and CEO of Stark Internationals." Pepper said.
"And? And?" Tony asked.
"Multibillionaire entrepreneur, scientific genius, philanthropist and a pretty narcissist who spends his time trimming his beard than most people do earning a living." Pepper continued with a frown.
"Look who's talking."
"I am, for a change."
"Takes her a week to choose what shoes to wear." Tony said before turning to the three. "So anyway, you guys having a good time so far? Should she show you the candy and mindless video games are?"
Akira, Hikaru, and Sandra could only look on in confusion and awkwardness.
Pepper glared at him, "Careful..."
"Okay, fine. Yeah, she's right. You kids probably prefer crossword puzzles and a glass of milk, right?" Tony said.
The kids frown.
"Then, Pepper can lead us in a sing-along and-"
Pepper put off the screen with a remote, "There. That's better."
They suddenly heard some tapping nearby as Akira and Sandra looked out the window and gasped.
Flying outside the airplane was Iron Man A.K.A. Tony Stark!
"Is that... Is that who I think it is?" Akira asked in awe as Pepper nodded in exasperation.
"Okay, who wants to see a loop-de-loop?" Tony/Iron Man asked.
"Pardon me, sir, but you really shouldn't be wasting time here." the A.I. J.A.R.V.I.S. interrupted. "May I remind you, you have a board meeting in seven minutes."
"Board meeting? A waste of time. DISKs, J.A.R.V.I.S. DISKs is what life's all about."
In a few seconds, he flew off.
"He's Iron Man!" Akira said, pressing his face on the window.
"I can't believe he was just there!" Sandra said in complete shock, looking out at the window.
"I hope they're peek behind the mask isn't too disillusioning." Pepper said in an unhappy tune.
"So our dad and Dr. Gonzales have been working on this DISK project with a superhero?" Hikaru asked, "What sort of project is it?"
"Not for me to say. But all will be revealed soon enough." Pepper said.
Sandra nodded and tapped her chin. She knew that this Project DISK was now getting more interesting than ever.
In a Raft prison cell...
"I'm listening" King Cobra said.
A masked man named Tim Gilliam replied, "Only a handful of people know that these DISKs even exist."
As King Cobra stared at the security camera, he said, "And you're in on that secret, are you?"
"I know a lot of secrets. Like how to override the surveillance system."
"So long as these DISKs help me bust out of this cell. That's all I care about."
"Let's find out." Tim gave King Cobra a grey DISK, "But if it works, you serve me. Understood?"
"I feel it much." King Cobra accepted.
"Good. Now, just hold still." Tim said as King Cobra what the former ordered.
Suddenly, King Cobra disappeared and was transported into the disk. The grey DISK then became yellow.
"I'm such a genius. In fact, if I weren't me, I'd scare myself." Tim evilly chuckled, looking at the DISK while King Cobra's face appears on the DISK's center.
Outside the Raft...
There was a party being held.
"Hello, everyone, and thanks for joining us. This evening, we're coming to you live from just outside the maximum security prison, where Tony Stark will soon be unveiling his latest breakthrough. The guests include Nobel Prize winners, world leaders, celebrities, V. from the tech sector, even the odd superhero. And I do mean odd." The reporter, Rosetta Riley, announced.
Standing in the treat table was the Hulk, Wasp, and Scarlet Witch.
"Hulk, you sure getting enough there or should I grab a waiter to eat with?" Wasp said.
Hulk glared at her.
"It's just a joke, big guy." She said.
Scarlet Witch sighed, "I wonder what's taking Stark so long."
Meanwhile, at the entrance...
"Now, this is the part of the tour where the general public really gets to see: our maximum security containment facility. Locked within these walls are the worst of the worst. The most violent and dangerous of the world's supervillains. Green Goblin, Abomination, M.O.D.O.K., Whiplash, Tigershark, King Cobra, Baron Zemo. Pretty cool, huh? Just one of the fringe benefits for being lucky enough to score a ticket to this little event or Mr. Stark's!" the guard said to the crowd of selected tourists.
"Uh, excuse me." a young blonde boy with glasses called to the guard, "Will Iron Man be there when this new tech has finally unveiled?"
"You'll have to wait and see, young man." the guard, Phillip Coulson, said before the blonde boy interrupted.
"The rumor is that Tony Stark is going to unveil a new Iron Man armor! A total revamp from the ground-up with superior speed and stealth technology and the next generation of heavy laser weaponry! A completely new concept!" he said.
"What's your name?" the guard asked.
The blond boy stops and looks at the rest of the crowd.
"My name is Edward. It's, uh, Edward Grant. I have a website and write a blog about superheroes." the boy named Edward introduced as he showed his phone. "See?"
"Are you a fan of Iron Man?" Phillip asked.
"Me? No! I'm Captain America all the way! Totally! I'm his biggest fan in the world. I bleed red, white, and blue. He must read my blog, don't you think? How else could I have ever scored a ticket? Do you think Captain America reads my blog?!" Edward exclaimed.
"You never know." Phillip said.
While they were talking, a red-haired girl listened to their conversation and looked at a blonde teenage boy with tan skin and wearing a black toque and orange headphones. He appears to be looking away and sighing.
The girl approached him and asked, "So, I take it you're a big superhero fanboy?"
The boy turned to the girl as she introduced herself, "Hi. My name is Jessica."
Jessica then held out her hand, waiting for a handshake. But the boy only looked away.
She tried to call out to him in German, French, and Japanese before finishing in English, "Hello?"
"Okay, okay." the boy finally caved in and then introduced himself to Jessica, "My name's Chris. Now, we're even. So, why don't we just skip the group hug and you can leave me alone. I'm gonna have to put my headphones back on."
Jessica noticed the orange headphones Chris is wearing, "Hey! Those Stark Soundtech's, aren't they? Guess we know how you got your ticket." she said, starting to touch them but Chris moved away.
"Back off, will ya?" he said.
"It's not fair. I bet you scored a ticket with the first set you bought. I knew it. Me? I had to buy 250 pairs of headphones before I finally found mine. Blew an entire week's allowance. Can you believe it?." Jessica stated.
Chris looked away and muttered, "I don't even wanna do the math."
"Alright, moving on to the main event." Phillip said to the crowd, "We've reserved a special viewing area for you lucky ticket holders to watch the unveiling."
"This is so cool!" Edward exclaimed.
In the Raft prison cells, no villain was present. In one cell, there were numerous dents on the walls and in another, there is writing on the wall that says, 'Good Bye'.
Meanwhile...
"So where are they? This is ridiculous!" Akira said.
"Don't get so impatient, Akira." Sandra said.
"You ever know Dad to be on time for anything?" Hikaru pointed out.
"I've had it with him." Continued Akira.
"Come on, I knew you love him." Hikaru said.
"That's what makes it so hard." Akira said, putting his head down.
Seconds later, their father finally arrived along with another scientist with a stack of materials.
"You got that alright, Peter?" Dr. Nozomu Akatsuki asked.
"Yes, sir! " Peter said.
Then Nozomu saw his two sons and Sandra.
"Boys."
"Hello, Dr. Akatsuki." Sandra smiled and bowed.
"Ah, Sandra. I've heard everything about you from your father. I also realized that you cancelled your tour so you can visit your dad. Give me just a second, I'll be right down."
"Great to see you, too, Dad." Akira remarked before the door opened again.
"Nozomu, are you in here?" Dr. Jamie Gonzales entered.
"Oh, Jamie." Nozomu called out.
"Hi, Dad." Sandra walked up to her father and gave him a hug.
"Hi, Sandra. It's been 2 years, huh?"Jamie said.
"It sure is." Sandra agreed.
"Hello, ." the Akatsuki brothers greeted.
"Akira and Hikaru. So delighted to meet you both." Jamie smiled.
A while later...
"So this is one of the famous DISKs?" Hikaru asked, holding a grey disk.
"Examine it closely, Hikaru." Nozomu said as Akira saw two white watch-like devices on two small chair-like stands.
"What do you think it does?" Nozomu asked.
"No idea." Hikaru said, looking at the disk, "But if you thought of it, I bet it's something amazing."
"Earth Base to Spider Monkey 1! We are under attack! Do you copy?" Akira tried one of the watch-like devices as if it was a communicator.
"Hey, Dad, Dr. Akatsuki. What do you think are these?" Sandra pointed to the devices.
"Oh those? Yeah, we're in the middle of fine tuning them, so don't touch it right now, Akira! That's not a toy. Put it down." Jamie said softly but sternly.
"I was just looking." Akira tried to come up with a good excuse.
"I thought you would've learned by now that science isn't playtime. It's something that must be respected and taken seriously." Jamie continued.
"Ah, there you are. Did I hear someone say 'playtime?'" A familiar man coming in and wearing a red and gold iron suit said.
Akira and Sandra eyes widen.
"Tony Stark!"
"So tell me. Did Pepper's mood ever improved? Or was she a grumpy face the whole flight?" Iron Man asked.
"It was such a nice flight, so you don't need to worry about her." Sandra answered.
"So I guess you've already met our kids." Nozomu said.
"He flew halfway around the world with us, Dad." Akira piped up.
"Yeah, good times. Good times." Iron man said, walking to the two scientists.
"Well, Doctors, you absolutely sure we're good to go?" Tony asked.
"We're sure." Nozomu said.
"Positive." Jamie joined in agreement.
"Sorry to hear that. You know, it's a kind of a blow to my self-confidence." Tony said, "See, I thought I was the world's most brilliant scientist. Now, it turns out there's at least one of the guys that's just as good."
"What's wrong, Tony? It's not like you to have such humility and modesty." Nozomu said.
"It's been an honor working with you two." Tony said.
"Likewise. And occasionally, a pleasure." Nozomu said and the three men shook hands.
The three kids smiled.
"Alright, but just like we discussed, I'll take all of the credit." Iron Man said.
Akira and Sandra looked at each other. Sandra then looked at the other device that wasn't even touched.
Meanwhile, at the viewing area...
"What sort of special viewing area is this? How am I gonna get a good shot? You need a telescope to everything from up here. I wonder if there's a way to get down there with that audience." Edward said, holding his camera.
Jessica approached Edward and said, "Why be merely an observer of history when you can be a part of it? Do you know who said that, kid?"
"Uh, Socrates?" Edward asked.
"Whoever said this, I said it."
"Oh, okay..."
"Oh, hello, Chris" Jessica approachedChris.
"Shhh. Trying to ignore you." Chris said.
"We're going to sneak down closer. Wanna come?"
"That's the first thing you said that made me sense all day."
At the same time, the Celebrity 6 are getting into position.
"Time to begin Operation: Gatecrasher. All operatives to your positions. These fools have come to see the show. Let's give them one." The operator called to his allies from his jet plane. He then laughed deviously.
Back in the Party...
Scarlet Witch and the rest of the guests were just getting more bored, until Iron Man appeared in the stage.
"It's party time." He said.
"Finally." Scarlet Witch muttered.
"Listen to that. Nothing a crowd loves more than a snappy entrance line." Wasp said. "You know, you and I should come up with those."
"Hmm... face-smashing time." Hulk said with a smile.
"Ugh." Wasp groaned. "Not gonna argue with the Hulk."
Hulk frowned, "'Cause it's good."
"Allow me to present an invention that will change law enforcement forever." Iron Man said.
Holograms of DISKs appeared and the crowd gasped in amazement.
"The Digital Identity Securement Kit. But to save time, I just call it the DISK." He said.
Back in the Lab...
"I'm disappointed that we couldn't go to the party, it would have been fun." Sandra said as she and Akira watched the party in the large window.
"What a joke! You and Dr. Gonzales did all the work and he takes all the credit!" Akira said, folding his arms.
"I don't expect you to understand. It's not about credit. It's about creating something that advances scientific knowledge and improves the human condition. Whose name on it is not important." Nozomu said.
"Your father's right, Akira." Sandra said.
Akira looked at her, "Yeah, but-"
"Your brother knows what I mean. Don't you, Hikaru?" Nozomu asked, looking at his eldest son.
"Hey, c'mon! I'm not a little kid!" Akira said.
"You're the definition of a kid and that bruise." Jamie said, pointing to Akira's injured knee.
"You've been skating after I told you it was dangerous and I didn't want you doing it." Nozomu reminded.
"What's that got to do with anything anyway?" Akira asked pathetically.
"You ignored my advice and did whatever you wanted. I'd say that's pretty kid-like behavior." Nozomu said.
"Yeah? Well, then, what does that make you?!" Akira snapped.
Sandra gasped, "Akira! Calm down!"
"Talk about doing whatever you want. For two years, you left us. Without a word. Just disappeared." Akira said, "You really think that's what I wanted, Dad?"
"Sorry I'm late~! Who wants coffee?" Peter asked, holding cups. "Or tea, maybe? Wait, what happened? Did I miss something?"
"I would like hot chocolate, please?" Sandra said and Akira sighed.
"Course, it's not my business. But if you guys really wanna know, it's for your sake that your fathers are not taking credit for their inventions." Peter said.
Hikaru, Akira, and Sandra gasped, while holding their cups.
"Exactly, Peter. It is none of your business." Jamie said.
"You see, these DISKs are gonna be used to capture supervillains. If your fathers were publicly associated with them, you, too, might become targets for the bad guys. And that wouldn't be good for anyone, wouldn't it?" Peter said and the two scientists sighed.
"Doctors. Don't you think this might be a good time to, uh-" Peter asked.
"I guess you're really set on giving away all our secrets, aren't you? Seems to me I may have forgotten someone's birthday. And Sandra, your father has a gift for you, too. He considers it as 'congratulations' for winning that award last week." Nozomu said as he showed a large box covered in blue paper and had a red ribbon while Jamie showed a longer box wrapped in green paper and had a pink bow.
Meanwhile...
"Consider it my gift to law-abiding citizens everywhere. A new and powerful weapon in the battle against crime." Tony said as the curtain behind him opened.
"And now, to help me unveil it, let me introduce you some of those heroes who fought in the frontlines of that battle." Tony said and Scarlet Witch rolled her eyes. "Beginning the man who needs no introduction, though he could use some fashion tips. The Walking Star-Spangled banner: Captain America!
"Well, just look who's here! War Machine! ! And there's Iron Fist! And Cyclops and Beast from the X-Men! What a lineup!" Rosetta announced as her cameraman turned to the heroes.
The crowd cheered.
Wasp noticed Scarlet Witch's eyes were glimmering.
"Wanda?" Wasp asked, but Scarlet Witch wasn't listening to her.
Wasp looked at what Scarlet Witch was looking at. It was Captain America.
"So you really like the guy?"
Scarlet Witch snapped out of her thoughts and a small pink blush crept up her face.
"What? Of course not! Steve is just a friend. Honest." Scarlet Witch said and her blush in her face turned red.
Wasp smirked, "Right..."
To Chris, Edward, and Jessica...
All three of them appear to be inside a dark hallway.
Jessica looked at her watch, "Oh man. It's started. But don't worry, we've only missed, like, ten minutes of it."
Edward was startled by what Jessica said, "Only? All I wanted was to get close, not to get lost."
Chris sighed, "Yup, should've listened to my instincts."
Back to the heroes...
"And just for the record, the latest polls show I'm the most popular superhero among young people." Tony whispered.
Captain America smiled, "Young as in babies who like bright shiny things?"
"Just make your speech." Tony said.
"Thanks, I will." Captain America said.
Then the sky turned grey and lightning appeared, followed by a loud clap of thunder.
The smoke cleared and revealed Thor in front of the stage.
"It's Thor! Don't be mad. I tried sending you an e-mail. You guys are kinda off the grid here is Asgard." Tony said.
"I've come with a warning. The world is about to be set upon by a great scourge." Thor said.
"I'm sorry. What?" Tony asked.
"How rude, Thor. Calling your only own brother a scourge. And you're supposed to be the nice one." A voice said and a man appeared in the sky.
"What's he doing here?" Captain America growled.
"Tut-tut-tut. I'd like to introduce myself, if you don't mind. Hear me, mortals. I'm Loki, rightful king to Asgard and soon-to-be master of your wretched world." The man said.
"You're wrong. They will never be your slaves." Thor protested.
"Why don't we ask them, Brother. Which will it be, mortals?" Loki asked as he aimed his bladed scepter. "Will you serve me or be turned to dust where you stand?"
"First, I gotta know. Is that a helmet or a coatrack?" Iron Man snapped.
"This is probably the worst place for a villain to be right now." Scarlet Witch said as she and Wasp walk up next to their fellow allies.
"You got that right. Loki just crashed the wrong party." Wasp said with a smirk. "You've got half the Avengers here."
"That's right!" Captain America agreed. "You're outnumbered and outmuscled."
"We'll see about that. Victory will not be yours or so you think." Loki said and disks appeared in front of him.
"The DISKs?!" Iron Man said.
Then more villains appeared around the heroes and the spectators.
"How did this happen?! How could they have gotten a hold of them?! Those DISKs are mine!" Iron Man growled.
Scarlet Witch and Wasp look at their surroundings.
"Great, they just had to come when there was an important announcement." Scarlet Witch muttered.
"Okay, Tony. I take it this isn't part of the presentation. Maybe you should tell us what these DISKs are so we know what we're up against." Wasp snapped.
Back in the lab, the two scientists, Peter, and the three kids all gasped, when they saw explosions outside.
"What on Earth is going on?" Nozomu asked in shock.
"I better go tell Tony about this." Nozomu said as he left the lab to warn Iron Man.
"I don't know but everybody, stay here and I'll go down and check it out!" Peter said. But then a villain named Crimson Dynamo jumped in and crash Peter out of the lab.
"Peter!" Sandra shouted.
As Peter was falling, he ripped his clothes to reveal a familiar-looking insignia on his chest, "Guess this is goodbye, Peter Parker, and hello, Spiderman."
"Where are the installers?" Crimson Dynamo said and grabbed Nozomu.
"Leave my dad alone!" Akira shouted.
"Hey, Crimson Dynamo!"
Then a web caught the Crimson Dynamo's shoulder.
The three kids looked at the direction, where the web came from.
A guy wearing a red spider suit was standing in front of the broken window.
"Am I late? I just can't say 'no' to a party. Even the ones I'm not invited to." The guy said.
It was Spiderman!

Author's Note: There you have it, folks. The first episode is finished. Here's a little bit of food for thought for you. I decided to divide Energy-class heroes and villains into two classes: Energy (represented by purple) and Magic (represented by Pink) as I thought it would be more diverse kind. Also, Sandra and Mark's conversation in the car is based on Erika Juno and Eddie's conversation from Barbie in Rock 'n Royals.
