Aright, it appears that some of you have no clue on what to make of the weapons for Ruby to use. SargentEpsilon gave me an idea for the Missiles and he also already cover the Ice Missles. Jacob9594, your ideas sound like they can be used for the Squeal which is based on Dread. So to help everyone, I found a list of the Power-ups from Metroid Fusion.

Missiles-Already covered. Ruby will use an experimental gauntlet that will shoot out a finite number of energy shots. Will find Data Packs to increase her amount count. Idea by SargentEpsilon.

Morph Ball-Had to come up with my own. Ruby will grain a suit upgrade from the first boss, allowing her to crawl through tight vents without getting stuck and can turn around in the vents.

Charge Beam-The best I can think of is to have Ruby charge up her dust to release a more powerful shot. Ideas are welcome.

Morph Ball Bombs-Ideas Welcome. And no poop jokes!

Hi-Jump/Jump Ball-Don't worry about the Jump Ball, Ruby isn't going to have it. But ideas are welcome for the Hi-Jump.

Speed Booster-I know it might seem pointless to have due to Ruby's semblance, but if anyone can come up with an idea for it, then by all means!

Super Missiles-Ideas Welcome.

Vaira Suit- I have an idea for this one, but I wish to see if anyone has something else first.

Ice Missiles-Already Covered. Idea by SargentEpsilon.

Wide Beam-Ideas Welcome.

Power Bomb-Ideas Welcome.

Space Jump-Ideas Welcome.

Plasma Beam-Ideas Welcome.

Gravity Suit-Ideas Welcome.

Diffusion Missiles-Ideas Welcome.

Wave Beam-Ideas Welcome.

Screw Attack-Ideas Welcome.

Ice Beam-Undecided, but ideas are still welcome.

Well, that's all I could find. If new ideas are given to power-ups I will add them. One last tip, they have to make sense in the RWBY World.

Ruby sat in the back of the Atlesian Airship. It was set to autopilot since she was too young to fly. She could only imagine how furious her father and uncle must be when they heard bout this. Oum, she could actually hear Yang threaten Ironwood for sending her to a dangerous place. Ruby sighs before checking what she had.

Crescent Rose-Check.

New suit-Check.

Helmet-Check.

Dust-Che...wait a minute!

"Huh? Where's my dust?" She said, searching over herself.

Ruby found that she didn't have her element dust with her. She only had her normal plain dust. She was sure she brought more. She then saw a light blink on her arm and held it up. She presses the light and a screen appears with Winter's face on it.

"WHOA!"

"Miss Rose, I'll be your guide through the Facility." She said.

"My guide?" Ruby asked.

"Yes, since this Facility was kept a secret from everyone, you might not know where to go or want to do. I will help you in your mission." Winter said.

"Okay. Um, What happen to my dust?" Ruby asked.

"We don't know if there is anything in there that could have a dangerous reacting to the element dust. But if we learn more about the situation, we'll send you more dust. For now, just use your normal dust." Winter said.

Ruby sighs and nods. She quickly loaded up her Crescent Rose before hearing Winter speak again.

"When you arrive, head for a navigation room and link up there. It will give us an idea of what to look for." She said.

"Got it!" Ruby said.

"You're approaching the Facility shortly. Ready yourself." Winter said.

Ruby watched as the screen turns off before grabbing her helmet.

"Well, time to be a hero." She said, putting it on.

Hangar Shuttle,

The Airship landed and Ruby steps off. As soon as she did, she felt a shiver send up her spine. Something knew she was there, and it was not happy.

"Sensors indicate that the explosion originated in the Quarantine Bay. This bay currently stores capsules containing recent samples from unknown places, and for some reason, samples were taken from you during your recovery. The cause of the explosion is currently unclear. Investigate. The Quarantine Bay is here." Winter's voice said, causing her to jump.

"Move quickly and quietly... You are currently unable to use most of your natural abilities, due to the suit restricting you at the moment. Don't forget that, Miss Rose. Stop at the Navigation Room on the way. Uplink from there. Is your objective clear?" She said.

"Yes!" Ruby said, getting a strange feeling she was being watched.

"Good. Now, go to the Quarantine Bay." Winter said before it went quiet.

Ruby stood there for a few seconds. She could feel all of her nerves were on high alert, and her Grimm half acting up from something. She shook her head. She had to focus on the mission! She ran out of the hangar and into a few rooms. But she couldn't shake that something was watching her. She travels through another room before finding the Navigation Room. Once inside, the feeling faded away. Ruby sighs in relief before walking over to a computer. She turns it on and connected with Beacon.

"Well done. We are downloading the map of the area and looking over the damage." Winter said.

Ruby waited until Winter finished.

"Miss Rose, the Quarantine Bay is ahead. Irregular bio-signs are confirmed. Be on guard." She said.

"Bio-sighs?" Ruby asked, confused.

"Many creatures are new and some are very violent. I advise caution as you travel." Winter said.

"R-right!" Ruby said, trying not to gulp.

After the connection went out, Rubby ready herself and left the Navigation Room. She once again felt like something was watching her as she travels through the empty rooms.

'Come on, Ruby. Just get to the Quarantine Bay and find any survivors! It is a search and recused mission after all.' She thought.

She found the door to the Quarantine Bay and pulled out her Crescent Rose. She kept it in its gun form before stepping through the door. The room was dark and her visor started glowing, letting her see in the dark.

"Neat." She said before slowly walking around the room.

Ruby carefully walks around the Quarantine Bay, noticing the broken capsules. She walks up to one and looks over it.

"What happened here?" She asked.

Suddenly, something was knocked over causing her to turn and almost fire her Crescent Rose. She took a breath and decides to not act so rash. She slowly walks over to the noise and saw some shack boxes close by. Seeing nothing that made the noise, Ruby turns to find more clues about what happened. Suddenly the Boxes burst apart as something came charging at her.

Ruby was hit into one of the capsules and groans. She shook her head and held it as she stood up. She was surprised to see a boar again, but she quickly spotted something. Its eyes. Just like the last one! It was fully black, but this one looks to have tears running down its face. It squeals before charging at Ruby. She quickly dodges before turning Crescent Rose into its scythe mood and slashing at the Boar. Like before, the boar fell over dead and it turn into a black ball!

"NONONONO!" Ruby shouted, quickly running out of the room.

'What are the Death Soul Parasites doing here?!' She thought, trying to use her semblance.

She ran until she made it back to the navigation room. She press herself flat on the door as she panted. Her eyes were wide as saucers as she tries to collect her thoughts.

'WHAT IN OUM ARE THEY DOING HERE?!' She shouted in thought.

She couldn't believe it. The Death Soul Parasites were in the Facility! How?! Why?! Needing some answers, Ruby quickly ran over to the computer and contract Winter.

"Miss Rose, what is your repo..." Winter started.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THE DEATH SOUL PARASITES WERE HERE?!" Ruby shouted over her.

Winter was shocked by Ruby's raised voice before recovering.

"So, you know. In truth, some of your blood that was still infected by the Parasite was sent there to be studied and then dispose of. But it's still unknown who made and release them. In fact, it's strongly believed that the Parasites take up different forms to hide from a much stronger opponent, Grimms." Winter said.

Ruby blinks as she heard what Winter said.

"From Grimms? Why?" She asked.

"The Parasites infect all living things that have a soul. Once infected, the host is killed as their soul is wiped out. It then takes the form of that being and lives very much like the host. It has mostly taken on the form of animals, due to Grimms attacking mostly humans. Its also believed, due to your Grimm DNA, that you can no longer become infected by them. Instead, it appears that each time you absorb one, they will heal you." Winter said, looking very confused.

"Heal me?" Ruby asked, shocked.

Before Winter could speak her thoughts, she heard a beep and quickly checks it.

"I am detecting massive bio-signs in this region. The parasites are gathering. This may be our chance to exterminate them, but...You are only at about 10% battle capacity. Your chance of survival against many parasites is extremely low." She said.

This time, Ruby didn't stop her gulp. If she was that weak, then she has no chance of stopping the parasites.

"Miss Rose, go look around and see if you can lower the number of Parasites and see if there's anything that could help you. Is your objective clear?" Winter said.

"Y-Y-Yes!" Ruby said, turning to leave.

Back at Beacon,

Winter groans as she sat back in her chair. The Death Soul Parasites were loose. There goes her hope of an easy mission. She knew Ruby's Grimm DNA will keep her safe from them, but there was something odd about the situation. How did they get free? The capsules were made to withstand anything, even Grimm! She looks back at the computer, remembering what she told Ironwood.

Flashback, 10 minutes after Ruby left,

Ironwood sat in his office as Winter stood next to him. She kept a straight face, but her mind was full with worry. She might not know Ruby that much, but Weiss made it clear that she was very important to her and was her best friend. She didn't know what to do if Ruby had died from the Parasites.

"Is there something on your mind, Miss Schnee?" Ironwood spoke up.

Winter thought about it before facing Ironwood.

"I wish to overlook Miss Rose's mission as her navigator." She said.

"And why is that?" Ironwood asked.

"We have kept that Facility off the grid for years. She doesn't know what lies inside. If some of the more violent creatures are free, she wouldn't know what she's dealing with. She almost lost her life once. I rather she doesn't go through that again." Winter told him.

Ironwood thought about it and understood her reason. He rather not tell the news of Ruby's death to her family. If she was guided and kept alive, it could avoid problems he didn't want.

"Agreed." He said before looking at her.

"However, you must keep her away from the more dangerous specimens. I'm ordering a few of my men to prepare upgrades for her. It will be some time before they are ready." He said.

"Yes, sir," Winter said before leaving the room.

"Winter."

"Yes, sir?"

"Remember your orders. She can not find out the truth." He said.

Flashback end,

Winter sighs again. She really didn't like this. But she was loyal to Ironwood and had followed his orders. She read over the information she download and came across something.

"Though the parasites mimic their hosts, they appear to be much smarter than they let on. Even something like an animal can show they are much smarter than they look. What other secrets do these creatures hold? Can they be used for the benefit of mankind? We need to find out more."

Short, but clearly making a point. The Death Soul Parasites were smarter than they look. Which means, Ruby was going to have to stay on her guard at all times. Winter could only hope she makes it back alive.

Okay, I'm stopping here. Well, Ruby's mission has begun and she's already discovered the Death Soul Parasites. I might just call them Death Parasites from now on, are in the facility. I was going to go on until the Death Parasite version of Ruby appears, but I'm getting a little tired of writing this, so I save it for the next chapter. Remember, I need help replacing the power-ups for Ruby and they have to be something that makes sense in the RWBY universe.
