Power Bomb-sundew112604 gave me an idea for the Power Bombs, and I'm thinking over it.

Gravity Suit-sundew112604 gave me an idea for the Gravity Suit, and I'm thinking over it.

Ice Beam-Firem78910 gave me an idea for this power-up. Read the reviews for the idea. It sounds promising.

Okay, just three power-ups left, and it will be another chapter or two before I get to them. For a short time, I forget if Sector 3 had a boss of some kind then I remember, The B.O.X. It's probably going to be the only boss that stays the same from the game. Okay, time for Sector 3.

Winter sighs as she got her orders from Ironwood. She didn't understand it. He knew the Death Parasites were dangerous, so why was he so interested in them? And there was the "secret" he was hiding. Winter knows it was only a matter of time before Ruby found out. But she should worry about something else.

"Hey! Let go!"

Winter turns to see a few of Ironwood's men enter the room and started to grab Weiss and the others.

"What are you doing?" Winter asked them.

"General Ironwood has ordered us to take these students back to their dorms." One of them said.

"They also know too much." Another added.

"If that's was true, then all the better they remain here," Winter told them.

"Miss Schnee..." Another started.

Winter stood up, glaring at them. Even without using her Semblance, the soldiers were well aware that she was a lot more powerful than she looks.

"I also don't approve of how you're treating my sister. Let her and her friends go, now." She said, glaring at them.

The soldier holding Weiss's arm sighs.

"I'm sorry, but Ironwood orders are to remove them from the area and back into their dorms. We won't hurt them." He said.

Weiss, tired of what the soldier was saying, yanks her arm free.

"Listen here! We are here because General Ironwood sent our leader to a dangerous place without any backup! Ruby almost die once! We're not going to sit in our dorms waiting for news!" She shouted.

"Yeah, I'm not going to be separated from my sister again!" Yang added, break free of the Soldier's hold.

Blake use her semblance to free herself and stood next to her friends.

"We're not leaving until Ruby comes home." She said.

"What about your schoolwork?" The Lead Soldier asked.

"That's already taken care of."

Everyone turns to see Ozpin standing at the doorway. He walks past each soldier, making each of them flinch back.

"Miss Winter, how is Miss Rose doing?" He asked Winter.

"She's been doing fine so far. She has been gaining upgrades not only from us but from the Death Parasites too." She told him.

"Hmm, interesting," Ozpin said.

"Sir?" Winter asked, confused.

"I'm fully aware that Miss Rose Grimm's DNA makes her immune to the Death Parasites, but gaining power-ups from them as well? Sounds like the Death Parasites are not the only ones that are mysterious." He said before nodding.

"Keep watching over her, Miss Winter. I hope to hear the good news she when comes home." Ozpin said before turning to the rest of Team RWBY.

"I'll have all your teachers send their lessons and tests to you by their scrolls. I also hope that you can help Miss Rose catch up as well." He said to them before leaving the room.

Everyone stood quietly before Blank spoke up.

"Um, Winter? Ruby is calling you." She said.

Winter turns and notices that her computer was beeping. She glares at the soldiers before turning to the computer and puts on her headset. The Soldiers sighs and leaves the room, knowing Ironwood was not going to be happy about this.

Sector 3,

Ruby reached the Navigation Room and contacted Beacon. It took a minute before she saw Winter.

"Miss Rose, I'm glad you made it to Sector 3." She said.

"Yep! So, what's the mission?" Ruby asked.

"I look over the map, and thankfully, the parasites have not yet invaded this area yet. The Data Room here is sealed by another security hatch." She said.

"Hmm, I know where this is going. I need to find the lock and deactivated it." Ruby said.

"Indeed. This may allow the Death Rose and parasites into the area, but we are left with no choice. Your recovery is our main goal." Winter said before she made the map appear.

"The Data Room is located here. As explained, Security Rooms can't be shown on the map. Be careful, Miss Rose. You will see some very violent organisms here. And avoid the ultra-heated areas; your suit can't take such high temperatures yet, but we're working on it. There are no ultra-heated areas on this route, so turn back immediately if you enter one. First activate the green Level 2 hatches. Then proceed to the Data Room for download. The Super Gauntlet data is ready. Your firepower will triple." Winter said.

Ruby looks at her gauntlet. It has helped her through this whole thing and she was started to get why Yang loves Ember Celica so much. Of course, nothing can replace Cresent Rose, but she has grown to love the gauntlet as well.

'Hmm, I should give this Gauntlet a name. But what to name it?' She thought.

"Miss Rose?"

Ruby blinks as she looks up.

"Sorry! I was lost in thought for a second there!" Ruby said, sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head.

Winter sighs before collecting herself.

"You have your orders. Compete them and come home. Understood?" She asked.

"Yes, madam!" Ruby said, saluting her.

"Wrong hand, Miss Rose," Winter said, trying not to smirk.

Before Ruby could fix her mistake, the contention was cut. Ruby groans before heading out of the Navigation room.

"STOP IT! DESTROY ALL THE ROOMS!"

Ruby jumps. What was that voice? Was it the Parasites? Or something else? Taking a breath, Ruby started to explore the Sector using her new speed booster to travel through some rooms quickly. Because there weren't a lot of Parasites in her way, Ruby didn't have much to deal with.

'Of course, once I open the lock, that will change. Still trying to come up with a name for this gauntlet.' Ruby thought.

Ruby enters a room where she saw a green door and knew this was where the security lock was at.

"Okay. I just got to find another way in. Let's see..." Ruby said to herself.

Ruby looked over the room, trying to see if there was something hidden. She scored when she found a crack on the ceiling.

"Yes! Time to unlock the Data Room!" Ruby said, blasting the ceiling.

She climbs up and spots a gray door. Smirking under her helmet, Ruby opens the door and drops down into the Security Room. She notices that the lock was the same before and open it.

"SECURITY LEVEL 2 UNLOCKED. GREEN HATCHES ARE NOW ACTIVATED."

Ruby smiles, but it fades when she remembers something else.

"And now I have to deal with the Death Parasites. Just better hope I stay away from the Death Rose." She said, shivering at the name.

Taking a minute to calm herself, Ruby got in a running position. If she was quick enough, She could reach the Data Room before her Death Parasite copy could find her. She felt the wind dust build around her as well as a bit of pain before running through the door. A few parasites had entered the room but were absorbed by Ruby before they could form any bodies.

Ruby used her map to find the quickest path to the Data Room, wanting to find and leave the room before the Death Parasite tracks her down. Thanks to her Speed Boost, Ruby ran through the rooms quickly and use the shinespark to reached the higher rooms quickly. Through, she did slow down at points to find any packs for her shield and gauntlet. She did find a wall that was cracked and used her dust bomb to open it. She crawls through the hole and drops into another room with a green door!

"YES! Now let's get that upgrade!" Ruby said, opening the door.

She enters the room and notices the same machine as before. She placed her hand in the machine. She saw it glow before a beep was heard. Ruby pulled her hand out and saw that Gauntlet had changed. It now was red, with a silver glove under it. Ruby forms a fist and threw a punch, shooting a bigger blast that makes the nearby wall smoke a bit.

"SUPER GAUNTLET ADDED! DUST ADDED TO BLASTS."

"Sweet!" Ruby smiles.

She rests her hand before deciding to leave. As much as she wanted to explore this Sector, she had to leave before her Death self finds her. Ruby left the room and started to run back down the hall, using her speed booster to save time. However, she had to stop when she saw that door that would lead her back to the Navigation room was destroyed.

"What the? What happened here?" She asked.

With no other choice, Ruby started to run back down the hall, strangely finding it in ruins, making it hard to use her speed booster.

"What the Oum is going on here?" Ruby asked, jumping over some holes.

She soon reach the room that would take her to the Data Room before a giant machine burst out of the door, making Ruby jump back so she wouldn't get crushed.

"What the? Did the Death Parasites take control of it?" Ruby asked before jumping up as the machine charged at her.

Ruby saw that there was a ceiling ladder and grabbed it. She turned and saw that the Machine was opening its top and shot out a hard dust ball near her before jumping. Ruby quickly climbed away but didn't see the dust ball break apart and sent two fire pillars at her. Ruby was hit and felt that her insides were burning. She lands on the ground, groaning. She stood up to hold her head but failed to see the machine charging at her again. She was rammed by it and slams into the broken door.

The Machine backs away and Ruby fell to the ground. The machine backs away to ram her again, but something happened. Just as the machine charged at her, Ruby jumps to her feet and caught it. Something was different about her. She held the machine in place before putting her hands under it and started to lift it. With a growl, Ruby flips the machine, making it crash not far from her after spinning around for a second.

Ruby then jumps on it and started to tear the top open. Inside was a brain that Ruby wasted no time shooting her blasts on it, causing the machine to scream out in pain. It was able to shake her off before retreating. It smashes through the ceiling as Ruby tries to chase it, only for a piece of the ceiling to hit her head, knocking her out again.

"Augh. My head." Ruby groans, trying not to pull off her helmet.

Ruby didn't know what happened. One second the machine rammed into her. The next, her head was hurting. She stood up and saw that the machine was nowhere in sight and there was a hole in the ceiling. Confused, Ruby jumps up through the hole and found another room.

Winter waited for Ruby to report, seeing that upgrade for the gauntlet was picked up. Strangely, a few minutes after Ruby pick it up, she saw that Data was offline.

"Winter?" Weiss asked.

"It looks as if the Parasites had found the data room and destroyed it. Luckily, Miss Rose found it first." She said.

"That's a relief," Weiss said.

"However, it proves one thing. The Death Parasites are smarter than they look. If they destroyed all the Data Rooms in the facility, then we won't be able to help Miss Rose." Winter added.

"Is there anything we can do?" Weiss asked.

Winter looks down. None of them could do anything. She soon saw that Ruby was calling them and answered.

"Miss Rose, your report?" She asked.

"I got the upgrade and I was attacked by a strange machine," Ruby said before telling them what happened.

Everyone was shocked to hear that Ruby got knocked out before waking to find it gone and left a path for her to take. She did mention she tried out the new upgrade during the trip and found it helpful.

"It sounds as if you encountered a rogue Security Robot. You may destroy it if you meet it again. Your safety is vital. But as to your brief, Level 2 security locks are released, so Sectors 5 and 6 are open. That means those sectors have likely been infiltrated by the Parasites. They are much harder to stop than we initially suspected…" Winter said, thinking on their next move.

"AUGH! Ruby, this is getting too dangerous! You need to find a way out of there." Yang said, worried.

"Yang, I can't. If the Death Parasites are getting stronger then it could dangerous if they get any stronger. I'm the only one that can stop them." Ruby said.

"YOU'RE JUST ONE GIRL!" Yang shouted, making everyone jump.

Ruby sighs. She knew why Yang was acting like this. Truthfully, if she made her choice, she would bolt for the nearest exit. But a Huntress doesn't run away.

"Yang, I understand. I know there's a chance I'll die again. Maybe even get to see mom, but I'm not stopping. Not until I can figure out to stop the Death Parasites and Death Rose." Ruby said.

"Ruby, you're not a huntress! You're my sister." Yang said, tears starting to form in her eyes.

Yang would never forget how she saw Ruby as she was slowly dying. That image planted itself into her mind. Yang didn't want to see that again. Ruby sighs. She knows Yang is scared for her as well as everyone else that knew her.

"I'm not going to stop, Yang. I'm the only one that stands a chance against them. But I promise you, I will come home, alive." She said, serious.

Yang blinks before stepping back. Seeing that Yang wasn't going to talk to her anymore, Winter decide to give Ruby her next mission.

"Sector 5 (DUS) is a Dust Lab. You're still susceptible to dust from the vaccine's side effects, so you'll take damage if you even set foot inside there. Avoid Sector 5 for now, but in the meantime, we are working on data to adjust your suit for extreme temperatures. Once we have the transmission, you can download it, but the parasites have destroyed all the Data Rooms you have used so far. I no longer doubt their capacity for critical thought." Winter said, thinking.

"What about Sector 6?" Ruby asked.

"There's a Data Room in Sector 6 (NOC) that you can make the download from. Go to Sector 6 and access the Navigation Room there. Tread lightly, Miss Rose. You are the only one who can do this. And the Death Parasites may be much more dangerous than we know." Winter said.

"Got it! See you soon." Ruby said before the contention was cut.

Winter turns to Yang who was crying off at the corner. She sighs and looks at Weiss, who was about to walk up, and try to comfort the blonde.

'I understand how you feel, Yang. If it was Weiss, I'll do everything I can to make her leave as well. But Miss Rose seems to really want to stop the Parasites. She doesn't look like she over her head, but I just hope she doesn't become too rash.' She thought.

And done with Sector 3. Short, but the areas will be revisited. And it appears that something happened to Ruby when she was knocked out but doesn't remember anything. By the way, I change Sector 5 to a Dust Lab because of Ruby's Grimm DNA. As mentioned, Ruby has no protection from Dust until she gets the Dust Suit in the next chapter. And you can see that Ruby's (almost) death still has an effect on Yang as well as all her friends. And I do need help. What should Ruby call her gauntlet? I have nothing in mind.
